Kendall Jenner's latest outfit sparks sex tape talk (PHOTOS)

Jenner's recent fashion choice for Vogue's dinner at Paris Fashion Week, which consisted of a barely-there top and completely sheer pants, was so skimpy, in fact, that it has the Internet wondering if she will ditch her successful modeling career to follow in her sister Kim Kardashian's footsteps by filming her very own sex tape.

Here's the PG-13 version of the getup, as posted on Twitter by Radar Online.

Though some Kardashian fans have reacted to the new photos by praising Jenner for her natural beauty, the general consensus seems to be one of disgust — some commenters even went so far as to call Jenner's latest looks pornographic.

Others lamented that Jenner shouldn't have to rely on tight or revealing clothing for attention.

For those kind souls who want to give Jenner the benefit of the doubt by assuming that maybe she wasn't aware her clothing would photograph so sheer, Jenner posted photos to Instagram that prove that she was, indeed, in the know.

As you might remember, Jenner also got fingers wagging when she wore a midriff-baring halter top to church on Easter this past spring.

The reactions to the most recent outfit are a far cry from what Jenner fans were saying less than two weeks ago, when pictures of her newly pierced nipple showing through her shirt hit the Internet. After several media outlets pointed out Jenner's new hardware at New York Fashion Week, young twitterers came out of the woodwork to give the reality star a virtual high-five.

"Kendall having her nipple pierced makes me love her even more," tweeted @Johnferns88, while @Frankie_Moulton echoed his sentiments with, "Kendall Jenner just went up ten points for having her nipple pierced."

There's also the fact that Jenner was wearing the clothing of high-end designer Balmain, for whom she has walked the runway in the past. So, in a way, she's also kind of endorsing her employer by wearing his clothing.

What do you think? Has Jenner gone too far with her clothing choices? Could they be considered pornographic?

The beauty products actually worth splurging on, according to a beauty editor

$

That's where I can help. My whole job is testing out the latest and greatest in beauty products, so knowing what's genuinely good is my entire reason for being. Here's my official guide to the beauty products worth the higher cost, as well as where you can save without sacrificing quality.

Makeup remover: spend

Not even kidding — spend a few extra dollars on your makeup remover, and you will be shocked at how much easier your life becomes. My favorite is Lancome's Cleansing Oil ($42, Sephora), which takes off even the most hardcore waterproof eye makeup — all without irritating my skin or leaving any kind of residue on my face.

Cleanser: save

Cleanser stays on your face for a short period of time, then goes straight down the drain. Save your dollars. In all my years in the beauty world, I've never found anything better than CeraVe Cleanser ($9.49, Drugstore.com.) The cleanser is incredibly gentle and effective on every skin type — even mine, which is notoriously sensitive.

Retinols: save

I recommend saving on retinols, within reason. Retinoids are legitimately life-changing in terms of their anti-aging, scar-reducing, adult acne-zapping abilities — of course, their prices vary wildly. Instead of spending $20 on a drugstore retinol derivative that doesn't work or $150 on a designer potion that promises to put a new face on your face, go to your dermatologist and get a prescription retinoid. You'll get actual results, and most insurance plans will cover it. A 90-day supply can cost as little as $60, which is a freaking bargain.

Serums: spend

The prices on these bad boys are justified. Serums have higher concentrations of active ingredients and fewer fillers, which means that they work — and cost more. You don't need to spend a trillion dollars to get an amazing serum. I adore Pestle + Mortar's Hyularonic Acid Serum (Pestle and Mortar, $65,) which keeps my skin hydrated and insanely smooth without sending me spiraling into debt.

Moisturizers: save

Moisturizers are made up of three main ingredients: a humectant (which draws water out of the air and hydrates the skin,) an emollient (which smooths skin) and an occlusive agent (which prevents water loss.) Most super-fancy moisturizers contain these three basic things, which are all generally really cheap, and then a bunch of "extracts" to make them sound posh and justify a expensive price tag. For my money, there's no better moisturizer than Dr. Jart+ Water Fuse Gel ($38, Sephora) at night and CeraVe AM Moisturizer with SPF ($11.99, Drugstore.com) during the day.

Foundation, concealer, powder: spend

You should spend money on anything you need to match the color of your skin exactly. More expensive lines just have a better shade range. The wear and coverage tends to improve pretty drastically with pricepoint, too. Since you need to use less product to get good results, pricier things will last you a lot longer.

Case in point: my favorite concealer of all time is Make Up For Ever's Full Cover Concealer ($32, Sephora,) and it is quite expensive. I only need the tiniest blob each time I do my makeup, and a single tube has lasted me well over a year. That's an investment I'll gladly make for perfect-looking skin!

Blush: save

Unless you need a super-specific color, drugstore blushes are just as good as the expensive ones.

Highlighter: save

A fun beauty editor secret: the best highlighters aren't highlighters at all. Stila Eye Shadow in Kitten ($18, Sephora) has been my ride-or-die skin highlighter forever. In a slightly shell-pink shade just lighter than my skin, it gives my complexion the most gorgeous shimmer that never verges on glittery. These eyeshadows come in a range of neutrals, so odds are you'll find a shade that works for you, too.

Eyeliner: both

Eyeliner can be tricky. Save on pencils, spend on liquid. Eyeliner pencils max out their awesomeness around $8, but you'll really see a difference in terms of the color quality, opacity and wear with slightly more expensive liquid liners.

Eyeshadows: save

You can save on shadows, but spend on a really good primer to ensure amazing wear and perfect color payoff.

Brow products: spend

Please, god. Nobody wants greasy, smudgy brows. Spend a bit more money to make sure your gel, pencil, powder or pomade stays put on your brows.

Mascara: spend

Mascara tends to reach peak awesomeness around $20. Anything more expensive than that isn't worth it, unless you need something genuinely waterproof. Expect to spend around $30 for something that actually stands up to water. Cheaper "waterproof" mascaras will escape down your face at the first sign of humidity.

Lip liner: save

I have never found an expensive liner that works better than my NYX lip liner ($3:50, Nyx Cosmetics).

Lipstick: both

  • Save on long-wear products. L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Last Lipcolor is the best long-wear lipstick in history, and you don't need to buy anything else, ever ($11, Drugstore.com.)
  • Spend on mattes, because they truly feel better and last longer than cheap products.
  • Spend on glosses, because I hate when they're sticky.
  • Whatever you want on everything else. Invest in lip colors you'll wear often. I bought a Tom Ford Matte Lipstick in Ruby Rush ($52, Tom Ford Beauty,) and that price tag was worth it because it's the perfect red. I wear it every other day. I tend to buy cheaper versions of trendy colors, because they probably won't live in my lipstick wardrobe forever. Like my mum always said, the most expensive lipstick you own is the one you only wear once.

High levels of arsenic found in red wine, but don't panic

Researchers at the University of Washington went through 65 different wines from four states — California, Washington, New York and Oregon — and found that 98 percent of the wines tested contained between 10 and 76 parts per billion with an average of 24 part per billion.

More: Calcium supplements actually have negative health effects

To put that into perspective, the U.S. Environment Protection Agency says that 10 parts per billion is the standard for drinking water.

The most came in wines from Washington state with an average of 28 parts per billion, with the lowest in Oregon wines at 13. The biggest offenders? Red wines like Merlot and Cabernet.

But don't panic and dump out all your wine.

More: Sugary drinks increase your chance of heart attack at scary rates

"Unless you are a heavy drinker consuming wine with really high concentrations of arsenic, of which there are only a few, there’s little health threat if that’s the only source of arsenic in your diet," lead author Denise Wilson, an electrical engineering professor at University of Washington, said in the study. Arsenic contamination can lead to cancer and even death if there is prolonged exposure to high levels.

It's unlikely that the winemakers are doing something wrong and more likely has something to do with the geology in those states, added Wilson.

More: Sitting for long stretches isn't as bad for us if we fidget more

"But consumers need to look at their diets as a whole. If you are eating a lot of contaminated rice, organic brown rice syrup, seafood, wine, apple juice — all those heavy contributors to arsenic poisoning — you should be concerned, especially pregnant women, kids and the elderly," she continued.

Your best bet? Keep your wine consumption in moderation and if you're really concerned, buy European labels because European wines don't contain arsenic, according to Wilson.

7 Reasons wedding bells might be in Sandra Bullock's future

There just might be a chance to make up for all the heartbreak yet, as Sandra Bullock has reportedly moved her boyfriend, Bryan Randall, into her home, according to Us Weekly.

And did we mention he's really hot?

More: Sandra Bullock scared by the constant attack on women in Hollywood (VIDEO)

Besides the fact that Bullock and Randall are now cohabiting, we've noticed some other reasons it might not be a bad idea for the couple to take their relationship to the next level.

1. He has his own career

Bryan Randall facebook 2

Bryan Randall facebook 2

Randall is a Los Angeles area photographer, so he's not really in the Hollywood loop per se, but he probably knows enough of what is going on to be a supportive partner to Bullock. It also doesn't hurt that he has his own talent and interests to cultivate.

2. He loves kids

Randall specializes in child photography. In fact, Bullock and Randall met when Bullock hired him to photograph her son Louis' birthday party back in January.

"Bryan's a child whisperer," a source told Us. "I've never met a kid who didn't love him."

3. He's in with her friends

Not only did Bullock bring Randall as her date to the August wedding of Jen Aniston and Justin Theroux, the foursome went on a couple's getaway to Austin over the Labor Day weekend. Having friends' approval doesn't necessarily make or break a relationship, but it's definitely a good sign that Bullock's friends are comfortable spending large amounts of time with her beau.

4. He's not into the party scene

Bryan Randall facebook 3

Bryan Randall facebook 3

Randall may love to pose for fun photos, but apparently he isn't part of the Los Angeles club scene. "Bryan and Sandra are total homebodies," a source told Us.

5. He's keeping his own place

It might not sound great, but being prudent isn't necessarily a bad thing. Randall keeping his own place can be taken as a sign that he's not trying to take advantage of Bullock or make her rush into anything.

6. He's inked

We already know that Bullock is into tattooed bad boys because of the whole Jesse James debacle, and Randall's tattoos have a sweet meaning: He has the names of both his mother and his daughter on his finger, according to Us.

7. Did we mention he's hot?

We know, we know; looks definitely aren't everything in a relationship, but coming home to that every day certainly doesn't hurt.

How much Halloween candy should kids really eat?

$
0
0

One Halloween night of indulgence is unlikely to do any damage at all. For healthy kids, the worst case scenario is a tummy ache, a toothache or an embarrassing meltdown. With such low stakes, Halloween is the perfect opportunity for diligent parents to teach their children the art of moderation rather than the punishment of deprivation. Here's how you can help your kids enjoy just the right amount of Halloween candy so both parties can feel satisfied.

1. Fill up first

When kids return home from trick-or-treating with a giant bag of candy and an empty tummy, bad things are bound to happen. People tend to consume less sugar when they are satiated with healthy proteins and fats so make sure your kids have had a good meal before setting out. And when they return, offer a protein bar or a string cheese before they're allowed to eat any candy.

2. Limit the big show

I clearly remember the glee I felt as a kid when I dumped my treasure trove of candy across the living room floor at the end of the night. I practically rolled around in the stuff before eating treat after treat. Not good. Allow your kids to pick three fun-sized pieces of candy to enjoy after all their hard work. Most of these candies contain about 7 grams of sugar per serving which comes out to a total of about 74 calories from sugar for all three candies. The World Health Organization states that no more than ten percent of a person's calories should come from sugar and these totals fall within the guidelines — as long as your kids haven't consumed sugary cereals, juices and sodas before eating their candy.

3. Store it smartly

Once Halloween is over, make sure you keep your child's candy out of their rooms. People are more likely to eat junk food when it is readily accessible — so your job is halfway done if you just keep the candy out of your kid's easy grasp.

4. Offer a smart reward

After a few days of enjoying a bite or two of candy, offer your kids a chance to obtain a smart reward. You can "buy" the remaining candy from them by offering a treat you know they'd love — like a trip to the mall for an older child or a visit to the movie theater for a younger kiddo. Chances are, your kids will readily part with the weird taffy they have left for the chance to enjoy something special. Alternatively, you can participate in a Halloween candy buy back program in which donated candy goes to American troops abroad.

Finally, it's extremely important to teach your children good oral hygiene habits no matter how much candy they eat on Halloween night. Always coach your children to brush their teeth with a high-quality toothpaste like Aquafresh® toothpaste with sugar acid protection from fluoride after they enjoy sugary sweets. The sugars in candy can quickly begin to erode tooth enamel leading to cavities in the blink of an eye. It's better for kids to indulge in a sugary snack for 10 minutes, and then brush, rather than drawing out the snacking over a longer period of time.

This post was brought to you by Aquafresh® toothpaste.

Body Integrity Identity Disorder caused woman to blind herself on purpose

The 30-year-old revealed that she went blind on purpose by pouring corrosive drain cleaner directly on her eyes, something she felt she needed to do because of a mental illness known as Body integrity identity disorder.

More: 6 Ways to find a good mental health counselor

Jewel Shuping's obsession with blindness started at a young age when she started "blind-simming," or pretending to be blind, by walking around in dark hallways, learning braille and wearing thick glasses.

Jamie Shuping blindness

Jamie Shuping blindness

"My mother would find me walking in the halls at night, when I was three or four years old," she told Barcroft Media, adding that she'd stare at the sun in an attempt to ruin her eyesight. "By the time I was six I remember that thinking about being blind made me feel comfortable."

The obsession intensified as Shuping aged and in 2006 took steps to make her blindness dream a reality. First, she went to Canada and bought special eye-numbing drops. Then she enlisted the help of a psychologist willing to pour drain cleaner in her eyes. "My eyes were screaming and I had some drain cleaner going down my cheek burning my skin," she said of the process. "But all I could think was 'I am going blind, it is going to be okay."

More: Mobile mental health clinic aims to provide much-needed services to teens

The drain cleaner didn't immediately blind her. "When I woke up the following day [in the hospital] I was joyful, until I turned on to my back and opened my eyes — I was so enraged when I saw the TV screen," she said. But over the next six months her left eye experienced a "corneal meltdown" and eventually had to be removed. The right eye remained, though scarring, glaucoma and cataracts left her without the ability to see, just as she hoped.

The identity of the psychologist who assisted Shuping is not known, nor is it known if the professional was punished for participating. However, the psychiatrist who coined the term BIID told the Daily Mail that it's a real mental disorder with few treatments. "Any major disability can be a focus of BIID, from amputation to paraplegia and blindness," said Dr. Michael First, professor of clinical psychiatry at Columbia University.

"These people are aware that this feeling of theirs is unusual — they know it is coming from within them. They can't explain it," he said. "Now the problem of course if you have a particular individual who wanted amputation or who wants to be blind — how do you know once you have done it that they are going to be satisfied?"

More: Anxiety hashtag provides support to those who struggle with the illness

But Shuping does seem to be happy with her decision, even if it did ruin her relationship with her immediate family. She's also cognizant that people may look at what she did with a negative eye.

"I really feel this is the way I was supposed to be born, that I should have been blind from birth," she said. "When there's nobody around you who feels the same way, you start to think that you're crazy. But I don't think I'm crazy, I just have a disorder."

13 Things moms wouldn't have without their kids — good, bad & in between

"They're only young once."

Recognize these clichés we like to throw at moms, usually while they're dug deep in the sleep-deprived trenches of parenting? We're told to treasure every moment of being a mother, but that's bull: not all elements of being a mom are meant to be cherished.

I love my kids. I love being a mom... usually. My kids add so much spice to my life, and by spice, I mean messes, noises and caffeine dependence. Some parts of motherhood are awesome; some, not so much. Here are 13 things in my life I wouldn't have without my small humans — the good, the bad and the messy:

Obvious physical damage:

1. Stretch marks

2. Saggy boobs

3. Varicose veins

4. The fact that my belly button is two inches lower and half and inch to the left of where it was before I got pregnant. And seriously, how does that even happen?

More: 5 Ways to battle stretch marks during pregnancy before they start

Signs of wear and tear:

5. Bags under my eyes

6. Frequently occurring gray hair

7. Short-term memory loss (AKA momnesia)

Okay, maybe I can’t blame my gray hair exclusively on my kids, but the terrible threes (whoever said it was twos did not know what they were talking about) escalated my need for regular root jobs. Regular being like every two weeks. Sigh.

More: Parents are naming their babies with random words, and it’s kind of cool

But, it doesn’t all suck…

8. My enhanced sense of fashion: I am rocking a giant-@ss handbag and sneaker-soled flats that are supposed to be cute (they are not). Yes, childless 21-year-old, I see you and your sleek little clutch purse mocking me with your eyes. Whatever. I have enough stuff in this bag to survive a zombie apocalypse, and my sensible footwear and I have a way better chance of outrunning the walkers than you do.

9. A cast-iron stomach (AKA the ability to handle lots of gross shit, including every type of fluid that can be projectile-expelled from a small child’s body)

10. The ability to find any lost object, detect any lie and see what a child is doing when my back is turned. I also possess the talent of being the only person in my house with the skills to replace the toilet paper roll. I am practically a ninja.

11. Acrobat-like contortion abilities. I have honed this skill due to the short people who creep into my bed on a nightly basis. I can twist myself into an unrecognizable form to avoid the feet in my nostril, kidney and… well, you know where. That’s not fun. If I ever get completely fed up with being a mom, I am sure the circus could use someone like me.

12. I’m so relaxed… about cleanliness. There are only so many LEGOs, underpants and straws from Capri Sun pouches I can pick up off the floor until I just don’t care.

13. My uber-gourmet palate, which has been carefully trained after many a relaxing meal eaten standing up at my kitchen counter. And yes, a relaxing meal includes scraping the SpaghettiOs my kid didn’t eat out of a Thomas the Tank Engine bowl.

More: Mom explains why they’re adopting a no-kid policy for their bed (VIDEO)

Yes, sometimes I miss my pre-kid body; being able to sleep in my whole bed; being able to sleep, period; and choosing clothing for reasons other than “that will still look okay with snot on it.” Yes, I look in the mirror and realize that motherhood has taken its toll on my appearance and my sanity.

But, I love being a mom. I love the look of delight in my children’s eyes when I teach them how to do something simple, like make a shadow puppet. They think I’m absolutely the coolest person ever for putting blanket over the table and making them a “fort.” When they’re lying next to me sleeping, I love to watch their angelic little faces and listen to the rise and fall of their breathing.

Until one of them kicks me in the vag. Then being a mom kind of sucks and I have to wait until one of them does something cute again.

7 Wardrobe tips that curb closet clutter

$

But now it’s time for the very best fashion season of all — fall.

Not so fast. Before you slide into even one over-the-knee boot sock, it’s time to tame your closet and edit it down to a carefully curated collection of blazers, skirts and hoodies just ready for a crisp run to Starbucks for a PSL.

No one can tell you how many of each article of clothing you need. That’s just an individual thing. The hard part is getting rid of the clutter and getting down to the nitty-gritty so you can avoid the morning trauma of a closet bursting with a bunch of bad outfits.

Here are seven simple rules for taming that unruly summer closet to make way for your fiercest fall looks.

1. Take the emotion out of it

It’s easy to get emotionally attached to clothes for all sorts of reasons. That time you wore that flowy muumuu in Kauai or the magical dress you wore on your first date with your husband. But, honey, muumuus are only cute in Hawaii and that first date was in 1998, so it’s time to get over it already. Make room for new clothes and the new memories that come along with them. It will be fine.

2. Get rid of summer’s casualties

Sun, sweat, salt and chlorine are just a few of summer’s hazards for your clothes. Summer is also a time to pick up those $4 flip-flops that perfectly match your new mani, the coolest $10 pair of shades at the beach or even a drugstore bikini. But now that summer’s over, it’s probably not worth dedicating precious storage space for trendy, disposable summer finds, so ditch what’s finished and donate the rest. The beach bag could probably go, too.

3. If it doesn’t fit, ditch it already

I’m sorry, but if that dress doesn’t fit in the bust today, it probably never will. We’ve all been there. But there’s not enough Classy Closet magic in the world to make room for your fall wardrobe and your dreams. If it’s too tight, too big, fits weird, gapes at the buttons or cuts into your armpits, it’s time to give it away to someone who will actually wear it. We'll pause for a moment of silence here out of respect for dreams dashed.

4. Dresses get three strikes

Now, a lot of wardrobe minimalists have a strict rule that if you haven’t worn something in the last six months, you should donate it. But fancy dresses and occasion pieces are a different matter. Here’s the best way to approach occasion wear and dresses in general: If you can remember trying it on at least three times and not wearing it, get rid of it, because if it was gonna happen, it would have by now.

5. Quality control

Anything that has holes, tears, missing buttons, frayed cuffs or stains goes. You’re not going to fix it, so just accept it and move on. And don't say you'll just make a pile for the tailor, because you're not going to do that either. Just get rid of it and save yourself the guilt and clutter.

6. Jeans by the numbers

One thing just about everyone can agree on is that jeans are a wardrobe staple. But exactly how many pairs of jeans do you really need? This “denim expert” says you only need three pairs of jeans even though the average woman has about 10 pairs in her closet. If only three pairs of jeans sounds ridiculous, compromise and edit your jeans down to one of each style you wear — skinny, boyfriend, boot cut — and don’t forget to hold back one pair for grubby jobs like painting.

7. There are no rules about shoes — well, except No. 5

If you’re a complete minimalist when it comes to shoes, first, please share with the rest of the class how to do that. And, second, compare your collection with this pretty sweet and simple list of only five basic shoes you’ll ever really need. If you fall into the category of having more shoes than a centipede could ever wear — *raises hand* — your best bet is to become a shoe organization ninja with tips like this idea to turn a door into extra storage space or these ideas for DIY shoe racks for your closet.

And when Jimmy Fallon asked the TV host if he had ever slipped up and offended anyone, Cohen reveals one really big gaffe that he actually made way worse before it got better. He said, "You know, actually, something happened recently where — did you hear the story of Tori Spelling getting burned at Benihana? It's actually not funny, but I made a joke about it — I made like a chicken 'caccia-tori' joke about it, which is not good."

But that wasn't it! He continued, "I love Tori Spelling, she's great, she's been on the show… she emailed me and goes, 'Dude, just so you know, I really like you, you seem like a great guy, but this is not funny and you kind of made fun of me and I feel bad,’ and went into a very long email about how serious it was and all this stuff."

Back in April, Spelling tripped and fell onto a hot hibachi grill at the popular chain, ultimately filing a lawsuit after sustaining "second and third-degree burn injuries requiring hospitalization and surgery."

Cohen followed up Spelling's initial email, saying, "I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to, and I'm sorry I told all those jokes." Then he revealed that he must have misread (or just not read) her email properly and thought she mentioned she wasn't able to eat for some time and ended his message by saying, "Eat something!"

Turns out, it was all in Cohen’s head. Spelling replied via email again, "Now you’re making fun of my appearance?"

To amp things up a bit, I combined sweet potatoes with an Idaho potato for a decadent scalloped potatoes dish. They're sliced super thin and layered in a baking dish with herbs, garlic, fresh Parmesan cheese and heavy cream. Once baked, it gets nice and crispy on top, and this fragrant sweet potato dish is the perfect accompaniment for any fall dinner.

Scalloped Parmesan sweet potatoes recipe

Serves 6

Prep time: 15 minutes | Bake time: 40 minutes | Total time: 55 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3 large sweet potatoes
  • 1 large Idaho potato
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried sage
  • Salt and pepper
  • 1 cup plus 1/4 cup fresh grated Parmesan cheese, divided
  • 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream or half-and-half
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F. Spray a medium baking dish with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. Wash and peel all the potatoes.
  3. In a small bowl, combine all the seasonings, and mix them together.
  4. Using a mandoline slicer or a very thin knife, slice the potatoes very thin. Once all the potatoes are sliced, layer the potato slices in the dish until completely covering the bottom.
  5. Sprinkle the layer of potato slices with the seasoning mixture and then with Parmesan cheese. Repeat layering until all the potatoes and the 1 cup of Parmesan have been used.
  6. Pour the heavy whipping cream on top of the potatoes, and then top with the remaining 1/4 cup of Parmesan cheese.
  7. Bake uncovered for 40 minutes or until the tops of the potatoes are nice and golden brown.
  8. Remove from oven, garnish with fresh parsley, if desired, and serve warm.

Marquardt dropped some wonderful news on fans today: She and longtime beau Nicholas Carpenter are engaged! While it’s no surprise that the couple, who’ve been dating since 2008, decided to make it official, what is surprising is her choice of ring.

The black-widow-shaped ring is covered in pavé diamonds and set in what looks to be either platinum or white gold, and it certainly is an unusual choice, but maybe not so weird for the self-proclaimed "Queen of Halloween."

Of course, it could just be a seasonal piece of bling — could Marquardt be lucky enough to get two engagement rings? We’ll have to check in again on Nov. 1!

This will be Marquardt’s second marriage. She separated from her first husband, Chad Marquardt, when she moved into the Playboy Mansion in 2002, but their divorce wasn’t finalized until 2008.

Carpenter is a director whose 2009 horror anthology project The Telling was right up Marquardt’s alley. He is the son of original Mercury astronaut Scott Carpenter.

Spelling said that the onscreen love affair between Donna Martin and David Silver, which for years remained chaste, was far from it in real life.

"I was a young girl, Brian [Austin Green] and I were the youngest, we were 16 and I remember the first time I shook his hand, I had that... I fancied him," she said.

Spelling added that their relationship was more special than just sex, with him even calling her his "little lamb chop."

More: Megan Fox, Brian Austin Green's divorce details are pretty surprising

But the real bombshell comes when she admits she slept with another lead actor in the wildly popular series.

After working through the possibilities, the host narrows it down to the show’s biggest heartthrobs: Jason Priestley and Luke Perry. But the preview cuts off before we can hear who it was! To find out, you’ll have to watch Tori Spelling: Celebrity Lie Detector on Saturday, Oct. 3 at 10 p.m. on Lifetime.

Survivor's Shirin Oskooi says Abi-Maria is this season's Donald Trump

SheKnows: What is the deal with Abi-Maria this season of Survivor?

Shirin Oskooi: Yep. She's emerging as the Donald Trump, Republican Party leader of this season. She's all kinds of crazy. You're getting just a taste of what it's like to live with Abi in these episodes. You're only getting a fraction of it. She is really aggressive. She's just constantly on edge, lashing out at people. Making comparisons between people in front of her and people from her past who wronged her, in her own mind. When she behaves this way, she doesn't see it as a negative thing. When people defend themselves, she gets really hurt, runs away and cries. You saw that happening on the episode. That was like the 50th time that it happened. I unfortunately had the job of babysitting her for the first three days. It really wore on me and I just couldn't take it anymore.

SK: You're a big self-admitted Survivor fan. That being said, you've seen Abi's strategic style before when she competed on Survivor: Philippines. What is the difference between watching her on TV and experiencing her actions on the beach?

SO: Playing with her is so, so, so, so, so much worse. I remember watching her first season and I thought, 'Wow, she's insane.' When I watched her, she acknowledged her insanity and apologized and seemed to be lovely outside of the game. Then she seemed so badly to want to turn around her image that I supported that. I thought, 'Wow, I could help probably her with that.' The second we landed on the beach on day one, she just reverted to that old self like it had never gone away. It was miserable. You have no idea what it's like until you've been through it.

SK: Is she the reason you were voted out?

SO: No, Jeff Varner is the reason I'm gone. Jeff Varner was the mailman between the two alliances. He's the only person that everybody was willing to work with. When he turned on our alliance and started gunning for Spencer, I immediately saw what was happening. He was the guy in the power position. I thought maybe I could turn this game around and get everybody to vote Jeff Varner out. I overplayed my hand. I got caught. When Varner found out that I was coming for him, he immediately counterattacked and got me out because he's not gonna tolerate anybody coming for him. The Abi situation was just adding drama to it all.

SK: Did you know you were going to be voted out?

SO: I knew it was gonna be Spencer or me. I knew it was more likely to be me because I had gotten caught gunning for Varner. Varner didn't want to talk to me at all the last couple days. I think he was so hurt that I had been coming for him. Everyone kept telling me that I needed to leave him alone and stay away from him. I really didn't get to close things out with him. I knew that he was pissed. I knew that he was upset. I knew he was coming for me and I knew he was in control of the game. So, that's how I went out.

SK: Vytas, the first person voted off this season, said he wouldn't have gone to compete in Second Chance had he known he would be the first eliminated. Had you known prior that you would be snuffed out second, would you have still wanted to take on the experience?

SO: One hundred percent. I would never say no to an adventure like this, even if you only get to play for six days, it's still once-in-a-lifetime. Totally worth it. Even with what my experience was like in Season 30, I was looking forward to being able to have new Survivor memories with lighter-hearted, fun-loving people.

More: Survivor's Vytas Baskauskas says he was the most villainous guy out there

SK: What was the biggest difference between your first experience and Second Chance, other than being out earlier?

SO: The people [laughs]. I think that a lot of people on the Season 30 cast are disturbed and have some demons. I think that they exhibit a lot of really ugly, negative, dark qualities. Whereas I think most of the people who came to Second Chance love the game, love fun, love adventure. Not all of them, but most of them, I think, are kind people. I think that's the biggest difference.

SK: Looking at your previous season with some of those people you didn't get along with, have you and Dan had any conversations? Has he reached out to you? Have you reached out to him?

SO: Oh, God, no. I have not reached out to him. He certainly has not reached out to me. All the apologies that you saw from him and Will, that was just for the audience because they came down under so much scrutiny at the way they had treated me during the season. They have openly talked shit about me, particularly when I made it on to this season. But, no, I haven't heard from him. I don't care to hear from him.

Image: CBS

SK: That being said, if you were on an island with Dan and Abi with one vote to kick somebody off, who would you eliminate?

SO: I'd kick myself off.

SK: So who is worse?

SO: [Long pause] Are you familiar with Game of Thrones? In the world of Game of Thrones, Abi is Joffrey... they're both so awful in such different ways that I can't choose, and I would rather kill myself.

SK: When you had your torch snuffed in Season 30, you geeked out as a superfan with excitement about having that experience. Was it as exhiliarating the second time around?

SO: No, not at all. The first time I had at least made the jury, had my voice heard, I got to go on a bunch of rewards. I had a good run despite how awful those people were. This time, I feel like I had only just begun to start to play. I could see a path for myself to actually get far in this game. My torch was snuffed prematurely, so it was tough. Heartbreaking.

SK: What was it about Spencer that made you bond with him so closely, and what was it like watching him cry as he talked about voting against you?

SO: He and I are really similar. It doesn't seem like that because we look like totally different people. We had totally different seasons the first time around. In actuality, we see life in very similar ways. We see people in very similar ways. We just gelled. I came to really care for him a lot. It was really hard going through that and voting for each other. It was certainly hard to see it again on TV. It was tough.

Image: CBS

SK: When Abi told you on the beach that you and Spencer were being targeted, were you aware of that before she spoke up?

SO: I knew that Spencer was on the chopping block. Prior to talking to her, I had a conversation with Terry about voting out Varner. As soon as we were done talking, Terry ran over to Varner and told him that I was gunning for him. The other thing is, when Abi got pissed off at me, she made up all these lies about me to throw me under the bus to Varner and Terry. I don't think Varner would have voted me out on Abi's word alone, but when Terry told Varner that I was gunning for him, that was it. When Abi told me that it was me or Spencer, I already knew. It was pretty obvious. Varner had been open with me that he had been gunning for Spencer, so that's why I came after him in the first place.

SK: Was Jeff Probst any tougher on you guys since this was your second chance?

SO: I just played, so I don't think that between Season 30 and Season 31 he changed all that much. The only thing was maybe how he got on people for giving him shitty answers. Terry and Wiglesworth would both give him really generic, bland answers at Tribal Council and on the mat. Jeff ripped into them a bit to be more real and more authentic when answering his questions. He even did that a bit in Worlds Apart, you just didn't see it as often. I think it was because everybody was so new and figuring out that dance with Jeff.

Shirin Oskooi with tribemates Kelley Wentworth, Spencer Bledsoe and Peih-Gee Law on Survivor: Second Chance
Image: CBS

SK: At the beginning of the game when you sized up the competition, who were you hoping to take to the Final 3?

SO: Kelley Wentworth and Ciera. I always imagined myself going to the end with two other women because men beat women in the finals 70 percent of the time. Purely mathematical, it's more advantageous to go to the end of the game with women. Kelley and Ciera both seemed like rational, logical, calm, normal people that I could work with and I could really trust.

SK: What about after the bond with Spencer, would you still say those two?

SO: I also saw myself going deep into the game with Spencer. The problem is that you can't really decide who you're gonna go to the finals with until you're that far into the game. You don't know who is going to end up liking whom and hating whom and being burned or bitter. Could I imagine myself in the finals with Spencer? Absolutely. But it's one of those questions if I had to choose up front right now exactly who I'd go with, I would pick two women.

SK: Would you go out and give this game a third shot?

SO: Oh, yeah, totally. I could never say no to an adventure like this.

SK: Even if Dan and Abi were both included?

SO: Even if Dan and Abi were both included. If it were just Survivor with us three, no way in hell. If it were a full 20-person cast with those two, yeah, I'd go again.

Supernatural makes fans nervous with new trailer — and hints about a death (VIDEO)

More: Supernatural's new teaser drops huge Sam & Castiel spoilers (VIDEO)

As you can watch below, there's barely any speaking throughout the trailer, except for a few ominous lines. One comes from Rowena, who utters, "What new hell has Dean Winchester unleashed upon the world?" Seriously. What is going on? The next spoken line comes from an anonymous woman, who says, "I know you’re dying — I can feel it." Say what? Who is she talking to?

If that isn't bad enough, the classic folk song "O, Death" is played throughout the trailer, which also seemingly foreshadows a major death. So, does this mean Dean will die? Maybe Sam? Or there's a good chance it could be Crowley or Castiel. Whatever the case, bad things are ahead and all fans, including myself, are beyond nervous.

One blogger's depression battle is inspiring others to share their stories

$

I'd faced depression before, but the weight of that heartbreak left me looking for other options. Luckily, the doctor was sympathetic and I walked out of there with my first prescription for Paxil.

Since then, I've been on various antidepressants with periods of no medication. I've since decided that it's better for me to be on meds to help me "round out the edges" in my moods and keep me thinking clearly.

More: Anxiety hashtag provides support to those who struggle with the illness

I'm not alone. Late last month, blogger Erin Jones posted a selfie with her prescriptions for antidepressant and antianxiety medication after a particularly painful battle. "I have tried living this life without prescription help," Jones wrote in a Facebook post. "It seems to have me on top of the world one minute and rocking in the corner the next. There is no consistency. I’m done with that. Anxiety and antidepressant medication to the rescue. Sometimes, folks, we just need help."

Jones' honest post inspired a new Twitter and Facebook hashtag — #MedicatedAndMighty — where people share their own stories and reasons for taking medication.

And it's sorely needed, even in today's culture of oversharing. When I first started taking antidepressants, there was no way I'd admit it. I felt like asking for medication was showing my crazy, even though, looking back, it showed my strength and determination to get better. Over the years I started opening up to friends about my own battle and, surprisingly, plenty of my friends and acquaintances were in the same boat. This helped me feel less alone in my battle, so if these #MedicatedAndMighty stories can help one person suffering from depression and anxiety feel better, then the hashtag has absolutely served its purpose.

Heroes Reborn: How Luke's new powers will change everything

More: Heroes Reborn premiere: Is Claire Bennet really dead?

At the episode's start, Luke and Joanne are driving and having an argument about whether they should continue to hunt Evos. Luke seems ready to let it all go, whereas Joanne wants to keep killing those with powers. Well, Luke gets so angry that when he turns down the radio's volume a spark appears and the car shuts down completely. It could have easily been a fluke, but this is the first hint that Luke might have powers.

Those speculations are later confirmed while Joanne and Luke are eating at a diner. While cutting his meat, Luke cooks his rare steak into a well-done piece of meat by only touching it with his knife. He drops the knife suddenly and is beyond shocked at what's happening to him. If that isn't enough, while checking into a motel, Luke goes off by himself and starts to feel warm. But it isn't just a hot flash. He literally starts glowing and has flashes of light streaming out of him. What is happening? All I know is this: Luke's new powers are going to change everything on Heroes Reborn.

More: Heroes Reborn spoilers to get you more excited for the revival

Seeing as Luke and his wife are killing anyone with powers to rid them from the world altogether, Luke's powers are going to cause a huge problem in his relationship. How will Joanne react? Will she kill her own husband and be left alone without any family? Will she leave Luke and go off on her own to finish what they started? Whatever the case, this is just going to be one major change on the show, for sure.

As for Luke, I have a feeling he's going to struggle with his new powers. Not only is he both scared and confused about what's happening to him, but his whole world is being turned upside down, again. How is he going to handle this ability and what is he going to do with it? If he chooses to accept his powers, he'll end up using them for good or for bad. He might even end up saving the world somehow with them. Whatever the case, his current life's mission is being completely changed and where's that going to take him?

Basically, Luke's new powers probably won't only affect him, but other Evos and the entire Heroes Reborn story line. With that said, here's how fans are reacting to Luke being an Evo. Also, one fan makes an interesting point: Is Luke the one who blew up Odessa? Maybe he's like Ted from Heroes?

Howard Stern, Emily Blunt awkwardly discuss her ex-boyfriend, Michael Bublé

Things got a little weird this week when Stern was interviewing Blunt on his radio show. Yes, it's normal for Stern to bring the craziness, but this conversation took a turn for the super uncomfortable when Stern wouldn't stop talking about Blunt's ex-boyfriend, Michael Bublé.

"I know your husband, a lovely guy; I really like him a lot, but I didn't realize you were in a deep, heavy relationship with Michael Bublé," said Stern.

More: Emily Blunt told to leave America after making jokes about the GOP debate

If you're not already squirming about Stern's use of the words "deep" and "heavy," just wait; it gets way worse.

"You haven't dated a lot of guys, you like monogamy... and you were madly in love with Michael Bublé," he continued.

Blunt remained remarkably cordial and composed throughout Stern's questioning about Bublé, but things got even creepier when Stern started proclaiming his own love for the singer.

"I met him recently, I worked with him on America's Got Talent. I was shocked at what a bright, funny guy this guy is," Stern cooed about Bublé. "And you were perfect together." At this point, you can almost hear Blunt cringing as she silently prays that Krasinski will never, ever hear this interview.

More: John Krasinski & Emily Blunt are first-time parents

"I don't know if I was perfect with him," she laughed. "But we had a good time."

Stern then went on to tell the tale of Blunt going home to meet Bublé's parents, even adding that Bublé's mother said, "You better marry this girl."

The cherry on top came when Stern brought up the reason for Bublé and Blunt's split: infidelity. "That was heartbreaking, because he was not faithful," said Stern.

"Well (audible sigh), I don't know. It's complicated. Now I'm going red," replied Blunt.

The future of shaving is here — and it doesn't involve a blade

That's a huge number, but there are few other options for cost-effective hair removal.

Laser hair removal is expensive and time-consuming, while electrolysis can be seriously painful (and also expensive). And then there's waxing, which is just straight-up torture. But now, researchers have created a new type of razor that uses laser technology to remove hair in a way that is both cost-effective and irritation-free.

More: Why you should quit waxing and get laser ASAP

The researchers are currently raising money on Kickstarter to create the unbelievable-but-real razor they call Skarp, using the Swedish word for "sharp." According to the creators, the Skarp razor uses laser technology to "melt" hair off at the skin level without burning, leaving behind smooth skin that's free of irritation, razor burn and cuts.

More: Woman suffers serious chemical burns after using DIY tattoo removal kit

It's also more environmentally-friendly because it won't require replacement cartridges — and, bonus, you don't have to use shaving cream or water to shave, a feature especially attractive for those areas of the world suffering from crippling droughts.

They're still perfecting the product, but a release in 2016 is looking pretty good, considering so far they've raised almost $2.6 million (and counting) toward the production and manufacture of Skarp — far more than their initial goal of $160,000. There are still several days left in the campaign, so there's still time to get in on the "future of shaving" before everyone else.
