Eddie Redmayne vs. Benedict Cumberbatch: Who plays Stephen Hawking best?

The Theory of Everything trailer: Eddie Redmayne makes playing Stephen Hawking look torturous >>

Ten years later, Eddie Redmayne will take on the role of Stephen Hawking, but not without some argument from Cumberbatch.

"I turn my back for five minutes and there's somebody playing something I've already played before," Cumberbatch said, according to the Huffington Post. "You can't be possessive about people you play."

Cumberbatch and Redmayne are actually friends and the Star Trek actor seems happy with the choice of Redmayne to take on the role. The Theory of Everything will be in theaters in November and has Redmayne playing the more romantic side of Hawking.

Back in 2004, Cumberbatch took on the role of the physics genius and starred alongside a very familiar face.

Benedict Cumberbatch to voice tiger in The Jungle Book: Origins >>

The clip that the Huffington Post dug up of Cumberbatch's portrayal has him starring with his Star Trek co-star, Alice Eve. Although it appears she plays a small part in the film, the chemistry between the two actors made them perfect co-stars nearly a decade later.

Through it all, Cumberbatch is glad that another film is being made about such an amazing man, but is happy he was allowed the experience of playing him at one point in his life.

"I had an extraordinary experience which gave me a relationship with Stephen when I was 26, 25," he said. "It was an amazing moment for me, a really defining moment for me. Nothing can take that away from me. And nothing can alter the fact that what Eddie's done is different. And I can sit as an audience member and cheer and be happy about it. For two reasons: It takes Stephen's story to an even broader audience, and it's going to celebrate a talented one of my friends who's one of our best actors. It's a win-win.”

You can see Cumberbatch next in The Imitation Game. The Theory of Everything will be in theaters Nov. 7.

Is Ray Rice's wife to blame for the attack? The Ravens seem to think so >>

Then, Twitter users from around the world gave us the answers.

All day Tuesday, tweets from domestic violence survivors flooded the social network under the hashtags, #WhyIStayed and #WhyILeft. Women and men alike rushed to Janay's defense, sharing the fears and insecurities they had experienced in their own violent relationships and showing us exactly why it's so hard to break free of the dangerous cycle domestic abuse can create. It turns out, Janay's defense of her husband's actions is typical of someone in an abusive relationship. Victims of domestic violence often suffer from "Battered Woman Syndrome," a condition that makes them stay in unsafe relationships for a myriad of reasons. Janay's decision to stay isn't her fault, and she — and so many others who are suffering like she is — needs our support.

By Tuesday afternoon, #WhyIStayed had been used more than 50,000 times. Here are some of the most gasp-worthy tweets from the movement — the ones that painfully illustrate what Janay Rice and so many others endure in the face of domestic violence.

George W. adorably teaches Bill Clinton about being a granddad

10 Modern families that are making a difference through activism >>

Bush and Clinton both showed up in Washington Monday and acted like old pals as they chatted about life after the White House, according to CNN. An important commonality the two men will soon have in common is grandchildren!

"Get ready also to be, like, the lowest person in the pecking order in your family," Bush joked to Clinton about his impending grandfatherhood.

Clinton's daughter, Chelsea, is expecting her first child this fall, which means the family is about to get a little bit larger. While Clinton and Bush discussed being a grandparent, Clinton's phone rang.

"Only two people have this number and they are related to me," he laughed. "I hope I'm not being told I'm about to become a premature grandfather!"

Although things have been tense between Bush and Clinton in the past (as well as between Clinton and Bush's father, President George H. W. Bush), it looks like the two only have respect for each other these days.

"He used to call me twice a year, in his second term, just to talk," Clinton said about Bush. "We'd talk — depending on how much time he had, 'cause he was busier than me — somewhere between 30 and 45 minutes, for several years. It meant a lot to me."

What will Chelsea Clinton's baby mean for Hillary's campaign? >>

The two said they often disagreed, but learned to respect each other's opinions. Clinton even added, "I actually learned a lot watching him over the years."

Kylie Jenner might just take over the world

Jenner sisters' City of Indra is better than you're expecting >>

The youngest Kardashian has penned her first novel and is already establishing herself as an up-and-coming force in the fashion world. And in a new interview with Miss Vogue, Kylie revealed she has yet another grown-up goal in mind: moving out of the Jenner family house.

"Kendall [Jenner] recently moved out into her own apartment," Kylie said. "I definitely miss her but I see her all the time… and I'll start looking for my own place in six months."

Kylie Jenner slams "insulting" plastic surgery rumors >>

Kylie is definitely looking ahead. She just turned 17 last month, meaning if she moves out in six months like she's planning to, she'll be out on her own several months before she's a legal adult.

I moved out of my parents' home when I was 17. I was butting heads with my family, just like Kylie (she told Miss Vogue she and Kim tend to disagree, "but in a sisterly manner") and, also like Kylie, I was ambitious and felt ready to strike out and make my own path.

With her ultra-famous family behind her, Kylie is sure to have plenty of help, just like I did — my best friend's mom rented me a room for $50 a month, for just one example. But no matter how much help and support you have, moving out on your own for the first time is scary and much, much harder than it sounds (millennials, can I get an amen?!).

Kendall & Kylie Jenner rant against out-of-control party rumors >>

I can attribute so much of my success in college — and in my post-grad years, so far — to the hard lessons I was forced to learn when I decided to rush into being a grown-up. Kylie is already well on her way to a successful future and the challenges she's bound to face as she sets out on her own will only shape her into more of a force to be reckoned with.

Gwen Stefani & Gavin Rossdale: Great marriage, naughty kids >>

On Tuesday, Sept. 9, Rossdale made an appearance on Howard Stern's radio show and gave a little insight into the couple's marriage.

"By the way, you had another kid. I was surprised," Stern said to Rossdale, according to Us Weekly. "I thought you were done."

"Me, too," Rossdale joked, adding that he found out about their third child in a non-traditional way. "I got this email on the road, from Gwen, and the title was in capitals, 'LOOK WHAT YOU DID TO ME NOW.' I was like, 'What is this?' My blood pressure went through the roof. And I opened the email and it was the pregnancy stick."

Just last week, Stefani also admitted she thought they were done having babies. She told Seth Meyers that her son asked her, "'Mom, are you gonna have a baby? I want you to have a baby.' I was like, 'It's over. We're not having anymore. This is our family.'"

The Voice coach gave birth to her and Rossdale's third child, Apollo Bowie Flynn, back in February. Because of his tour schedule, Rossdale knows exactly when their baby was conceived. He explained, "I wasn't home that often, but I did go home for Father's Day. And that gives Father's Day a new meaning."

Stefani and Rossdale are already parents to 7-year-old Kingston and 5-year-old Zuma, but were thrilled to welcome their third child.

"He's pretty chilled out," Rossdale said of Apollo. "We're very proud of him. He's a great kid, [but] he'll be naughty soon enough!"

Britney Spears: Single again >>

Newly single Britney Spears could very well be just a right-swipe away — the pop starlet told People that dating is definitely on her radar and that venturing into the world of online courtship could very well be a possibility.

"Maybe!" Spears said of joining the many other celebs — and the rest of us — who use the dating app to look for love. "Who knows? Possibly."

Spears, who just presented her lingerie collection, the Intimate Britney Spears, at New York Fashion Week, is looking amazing these days. She's hot and seems happy, despite her August split from beau, David Lucado, following rumors of infidelity.

She seems ready to move on, and if her interview with People is any indication, Spears knows exactly what she's looking for.

"I like a guy to be just really sweet," Spears said. "Really sweet and to make me laugh: Those are the two main things that are important to being with someone."

But Spears was quick to add that looking and feeling sexy is just as rewarding when you do it for yourself rather than for a man.

"I think with our world, [dressing up in lingerie for a man] is probably culturally what you're expected to do," she said. "But normally, I wear it alone in bed, with myself, and I'm happy. It's empowering for a girl to do that alone!"

Britney Spears has a no good, terrible, very bad day (VIDEO) >>

But get ready to swipe right anyway, because it seems like Spears is really looking forward to meeting a new Mr. Right — or several, like she told the crowd at a show during her Las Vegas residency.

"The best thing about being cheated on is I get to go on more first dates."

While show-stealing couple, Marcus and Lacy, got engaged at the end of Bachelor in Paradise, Michelle and Cody took a slower approach and decided that, while they were serious about one another, they wanted to keep dating, especially since Michelle is a mother, before getting engaged. Now that Cody has met Michelle's daughter and is planning a move to Utah, we wouldn't be surprised if a ring was coming up soon.

So, that's two successful couples out of one season of Bachelor in Paradise. And, in case you didn't get enough of the blissful island drama, the show will be back next summer with a new season.

Do you think Cody and Michelle have what it takes to make their relationship last?

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth still spend time together

Miley Cyrus vows at the VMAs that her twerking days are behind her >>

And while In Touch claims the couple had a secret meet-up at Cyrus' home in Los Angeles that ended with talks of getting back together, a source is confirming to E! News that reconciliation is most likely not in the cards for the Hollywood duo.

"They've always stayed in touch," the insider, who is reportedly close to Cyrus and Hemsworth, told E! News.

Another source said, "They are not likely to reconcile. They have moved on but are still friends. They still care about each other, but it's not romantic."

Emotional Miley Cyrus sends homeless youth to accept VMA >>

These quotes seem like the most likely scenario. And while our teenage selves would love, for once, if one of these young celebrity couples actually made it work into adulthood, the truth is, people grow up, change and grow apart more often than not. Just ask Hilary Duff.

Since the breakup, Cyrus does seem to be going about her life in a free spirited and single way. Hemsworth, on the other hand, has been linked to a handful of leading ladies, including The Vampire Diaries' Nina Dobrev and Mad Men's January Jones.

Miley Cyrus stands by her troubled VMAs date >>

Cyrus and Hemsworth ended their long-term relationship in September 2013, shortly following Miley Cyrus' raunchy, twerk-filled VMAs performance. While the cause of the breakup was reportedly Cyrus' decision and not a result of her brazen performances, the couple admits to having problems long before that.

Some of those issues are addressed in Cyrus' album, Bangerz, but the singer has been sure to say it's "not only a breakup album, it's a total story," according to ABC News.

Survivor's answer to #whyIstayed will make you sorry you asked

Jen Smith and Janay Rice have almost nothing in common with each other except for one big thing: They both stayed with a man who abused them. And Jen wants to make sure that Janay (and anyone else in an abusive relationship) hears her story about #whyshestayed.

"What was the argument about?" I asked.

"I don't remember," she says again. Jen isn't being coy as she hazily recounts her eight-year abusive relationship — she actually suffers hearing loss in her right ear and memory impairment from having her head slammed into things so often. She remembers hitting the wall that first night. She doesn't remember the time he kicked her in the head. But thanks to the stack of medical files in front of her she knows that he kicked her so hard he fractured her skull, leaving her with a permanent indent instead of a memory. Jen was three months pregnant when it happened.

Jen met Brian her freshman year in college. That's the first thing she wants you to know about her: that she's smart and accomplished. She holds an advanced degree and is widely respected in her field. "I'm not the stereotype of a battered wife," she insists. Pause. "But maybe there isn't one."

Unfortunately Jen is right. With one in five women experiencing some form of domestic assault in their lifetime, victims span all ages, ethnicities and social tiers. If the Ray Rice incident has taught us anything it's that so many things happen behind closed doors. As the media tears Janay Rice apart, wondering why she went on to marry the guy who knocked her unconscious and then dragged her body out of an elevator, Jen doesn't wonder. She knows.

After dating Brian for a year, Jen became pregnant. It was an accident and neither of them were quite prepared to become parents but they decided to do "the right thing" and get married. Jen moved in with Brian and that's when things really started going downhill. She says he became really jealous of anyone she spent time with, no matter their gender or relationship to her, so she started cancelling plans just to keep the peace. But nothing she did satisfied him and their arguments quickly turned to yelling. Soon she barely recognized the girl in the mirror. He told her she was ugly and stupid, that he was the only person who would ever love her.

"It sounds so cliche, so typical, that I'm embarrassed to even say it out loud," Jen sighs. She says she recognized even as it was happening that it wasn't right but she also says she believed him on some level. Part of why she was always such an overachiever was that she never believed she was good enough and that no one would ever love her unless she was perfect — so he was just confirming what she already knew. Plus, she loved him.

"I know this sounds crazy but I really loved him. His dad used to beat him and I was the only person he ever told about it. I mean, he cried in my lap telling me. And I just thought, 'I can help you get past this. If I love you enough, it will heal whatever that broken part is inside.'"

Their daughter was born and they got married but while everything was picture-perfect in their wedding photos the verbal abuse had escalated to the point where Jen says she barely recognized herself. Gone was the sassy, happy girl who wouldn't let anyone tell her what to do. Now she walked on eggshells, trying to avoid triggering another attack. This was why, she says, it really didn't faze her the first time he laid his hands on her.

"People don't understand the mental mind-f*ckery that goes on. I felt like it was just inevitable. I mean, I didn't want it to happen but I wasn't surprised when it did. I felt like I had it coming to me and ... it did."

Indeed. Within two years Jen was pregnant with their second child and that was when he used her head like a soccer ball, sending her to the E.R. As I flip through her immense medical file, what amazes me is not the years of documented abuse and injury nor the completeness of the notes. Rather, I'm floored by what isn't in there: help. No one offered her any aid beyond a cursory visit with a social worker whom she dismissed by telling her "I'm fine" as she slipped back into her business suit and tried to dab concealer over her two black eyes. She wanted to believe it so badly that perhaps she was able to make others believe it too?

It's at this point I ask the question on everyone's mind, the question people keeping asking Janay, the question people ask every survivor of domestic violence: "So why did you stay with him?"

"I don't remember," she says automatically. When I clarify that I don't necessarily mean that particular day but rather at all her face crumples. "I shouldn't have, I know that now. I should have left."

She says that she just felt "so screwed up" and that she knew she really was what he said she was. She says she was pregnant and afraid to lose his support. She says her parents were divorced and she didn't want that. She says she remembered the tender man she'd first met and still loved him. She says she had to protect her baby, that Brian was a good dad but he had little experience caring for their daughter and she was nervous about a typical toddler tantrum provoking a rage.

She says she was the only one that could hold everything together. She says she'd done such a good job of convincing people she was superwoman that she wouldn't have even known how to tell them the truth without it all sounding like a lie. She says she thought he would be sorry — and he was — and they could start a new normal.

She says so many things so sadly that I'm deeply sorry I asked. But when I ask her what made her finally decide to leave him, she's very clear on that answer.

One night, when her son was just a few months old, Brian started in on her again. He'd bought a new, expensive TV and she'd criticized him in front of his buddies for spending too much money when they were already deeply in debt. He had yelled and reached to grab her but this time she ran. She was clutching her baby to her chest and was terrified that Brian would miss and hit him instead. So she barricaded herself and the baby inside the bathroom, only realizing she'd forgotten her daughter when she heard the child's tiny voice pleading with her father to let mommy out. "Don't hurt mommy, please don't hurt my mommy."

Jen doesn't remember screaming but apparently she did it long enough and loud enough that a neighbor called the police. When the cops opened the door, she recognized one of the officers as the father of an old friend. His eyes filled with tears when he saw her. She says she probably wouldn't have listened to anyone else, but this man knew her family, had known her for years, had known the old Jen. So when he sat her down in the squad car and said, "He's going to kill you. You have to leave," it finally clicked.

As she didn't have any injuries at that time, the police only made Brian leave but early the next morning she gathered her kids and a few bags and went to her mom's house.

It's been two years and the divorce proceedings still aren't complete. Brian has fought her every step of the way, even trying to gain sole custody of their children and using evidence of her memory problems and depression — issues she only has thanks to him — as proof that she's an unfit mother. Thankfully the judge saw through that and granted her a restraining order. The stress has made her even sicker so now her mother mostly takes care of her kids. She's lost her job. Still though, she's terrified he will find her and make good on his promise to kill her — a valid fear, as a woman is 75 percent more likely to be killed after leaving her abuser.

That's the last thing she wants you to know about her: Her name really isn't Jen. While she says she isn't ashamed to talk about her experience — in fact, she agreed to this interview hoping to help others in her situation — she insisted we change the names and identifying details. Because in the end, even though this is her life now, she still has to live it on his terms.

"I don't know Janay and maybe I don't know exactly why she stayed, although I think I get it," she says, "But I do know one thing: He's going to do it again."

Supplies:

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - supplies

  • Art canvas in the size of your choice
  • Acrylic paint in the colors of your choice
  • White acrylic paint
  • Paintbrushes (1 medium and 1 small for touch-ups)
  • Clear adhesive sheets (like clear Con-Tact paper)
  • Small utility knife
  • Cutting board
  • Paper plates for palettes
  • A young artist

Directions:

1. Choose and cut out a shape

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - step 01

Have your child choose a letter or shape that she'd like to use as the template for this project. (We used a butterfly graphic that we found on PicMonkey.) Protect your work area completely. Place the template beneath the adhesive paper. Tape around the edges of the template to secure it in place.

2. Cut out shape

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - step 02

Adult step: Working on your cutting board with a sharp utility knife, cut out the letter or shape, discarding the surrounding adhesive paper. (Beginning with the small interior parts of the letters or shapes first makes cutting much easier.)

3. Apply sticker to canvas

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - step 03

Peel the back off the adhesive and apply the sticky side of each letter or shape to the canvas as smoothly as possible. Place a book beneath your canvas to use as a hard surface so that you can smooth your letter or shape onto the canvas. (Otherwise, you could stretch the canvas by putting too much pressure on it without support it from beneath.) Use the back of your fingernail (or a wooden craft stick) to secure the edges of the shape onto the canvas to create as tight a seal as possible and prevent the paint from seeping beneath the adhesive paper.

4. Allow child to paint

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - step 04

Put your paper plates on your work surface. Have your child go crazy with painting the canvas, using as many colors as she likes and in whatever pattern makes her happy. Allow paint to dry.

5. Remove the sticker

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - step 05

Adult step: Using the tip of your utility knife, lift up the edge of your letter or shape and slowly and gently peel it off the canvas. If necessary, use a small paintbrush and white paint to touch up any areas where the colored paint bled through.

6. Display and enjoy

Kids canvas | Sheknows.com - step 06

Liv Tyler: Issues from an absent father >>

Tyler has yet to confirm the baby news, but according to E! News, multiple sources have confirmed the pregnancy. Tyler has also been spotted out on numerous recent occasions, either covering up her tummy or showing a pretty obvious baby bump.

Tyler's five-year marriage to British musician, Langdon, ended in 2008, and Tyler seems to have been focusing on her son and her career ever since. Recently, she has been spotted out with Dave Gardner, a friend of David Beckham's, holding hands and kissing on many different occasions — including on a romantic getaway to Formentera, Spain. They were reportedly set up by supermodel, Kate Moss, according to a friend, and have "been seeing each other for three months or so."

Tyler's father, Aerosmith's Steven Tyler, is also yet to comment on his next grandchild, but Liv Tyler recently said her daddy issues have affected her relationships in life.

"[Men] are visitors. They visit my life. I am always surprised when there is one around," she told Net-a-Porter's The Edit.

Hopefully, Gardner will be more than a visitor for Tyler this time.

"They get on very well and are really enjoying spending time together," her friend explained. "He flies to New York mostly to see her and they feel very comfortable together.

"He is very charismatic and a real gentleman and she appreciates that about him."

If Gardner is indeed the dad, Tyler's baby will be joining her son, Milo, and also Gardner's two children from a previous marriage.

DeGeneres and Tatum were discussing potential Magic Mike XXL cameos.

15 Things you didn't know about Channing Tatum >>

Efron had expressed interest in being involved in the project during an interview with Magic 105.4 FM. "We haven't really talked about it. I mean, I love Channing [Tatum]. Magic Mike was an awesome movie... I mean, who knows. It looks like fun."

When Efron's name was brought up during Tatum's interview on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, the actor snuck a peek over his shoulder. "Yeah, sexy man," he said of shirtless Efron.

Aside from Efron, Tatum also said that Chris Pratt would have been a perfect addition to the film. The two starred together in the romantic comedy, 10 Years. Pratt has gotten himself into amazing shape for his recent role in Guardians of the Galaxy, but was unable to appear in Magic Mike because he was filming episodes of his show, Parks and Recreation.

"And he looks great right now," DeGeneres commented.

To which Tatum agreed, "Aw, he looks amazing."

Channing Tatum wouldn't kick George Clooney out of bed >>

Tatum is also getting into amazing shape for Magic Mike XXL, after previously describing himself as, "fappy," aka fat and happy. No one can blame the actor for letting himself go this past year. He's been more focused on spending time with his family — his wife, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, and their 1-year-old daughter, Everly.

We're sure Tatum is a great dad, but there's one thing you can bet his fatherly time with Everly doesn't include: playing dolls.

During the same interview with DeGeneres, Tatum admitted he has a fear of the toys. And who can blame him after you see the dolls DeGeneres brought to the table. That is the stuff of nightmares.

Happy Halloween, it's time to start Christmas shopping for toys

Walmart's Chosen by Kids hot toys 2014 is the first to the holiday shopping war. The announcement falls in line with the retailer's revival of their holiday layaway program. Walmart plans to add these top toys to their Savings Catcher app, saving you from having to hunt around for the best holiday deals. Here are the top picks for this Christmas season, just in case you're already stashing toys in your closet:

Creative gifts | Sheknows.com

At last, kids are reaching for toys that spark creativity. These crafty toys made the number one spot on Walmart's 2014 Chosen by Kids Top 20 Toys List, like the Spin Master Sew Cool Sewing Machine (Walmart, $35) and the Maya Group Make Your Case Cell Phone Cover Kit (Walmart, $25). Anything that involves crafts is a win in our household, especially when it distracts kids from wanting to play video games.

Disney gifts | Sheknows.com

Following closely in the number two spot, toys in the licensed and entertainment category will likely make your holiday shopping list. True to Disney's Frozen craze, Disney Frozen Snow Glow Elsa Doll (Walmart, $40) and Disney Princess Palace Pets Magic Dance Pumpkin (Walmart, $60) are no-brainers for girls, especially in my household.

Electronic gifts | Sheknows.com

Any trends in electronics that involve kids taking even a slightly more active role in play make my heart go pitter-patter. But I'm a little disappointed, but not surprised, that taking up a third of Walmart's top toy list are electronic toys like the LeapFrog LeapTV Educational Active Video Gaming System (Walmart, $150). Although the Deluxe Light Up Flutterbye Fairy, Rainbow (Walmart, $40) got a ton of votes, this doll didn't last more than five minutes out of the package at my house.

Classic toys | Sheknows.com

As technology marches on, the toy brands we knew as kids still resonate with the new generation, encouraging parents to get in on the fun. In the fourth spot on the hot toys 2014 prediction list, the classic brands get lots of love, too, with updates to their oldies but goodies. Check out the Nerf N-Strike Elite Demolisher 2-in-1 Blaster (Walmart, $32) and the Barbie Sisters Camper (Walmart, $84), which will both probably be seen under our tree this holiday, but, shhh...don't tell our kids.

Razor Crazy Cart Spinning Go Kart | Sheknows.com

Despite the electronic game craze, active toys like ride-ons and scooters are surprisingly still making the top five cut with Christmas shopping projections, such as the Razor Crazy Cart Spinning Go Kart (Walmart, $349). Now it doesn't surprise me that kids would be dazzled by such an expensive toy, but something that requires a little more kid power and not $100 worth of 12-volt batteries will probably appeal to parents' pocketbooks a little more.

Christmas shopping is still weeks — and months — away for most of us parents, but chances are as retailers cram holiday shopping down our throats too early, there will still be plenty of parents willing to take the bait. I think I'll wait.

A homemade, dairy-free (super-easy!) Parmesan alternative for vegans

Parmesan cheese is one of those things I missed daily when I tried a vegan diet, but I soon realized I can make my own without using dairy. A combination of toasted pine nuts, seasonings and nutritional yeast (which is a vegan staple) can easily transform into something magical, especially when you have a mound of pasta that is begging for a cheesy topping.

Nutritional yeast, with its slightly salty, nutty taste, is what gives this recipe its cheeselike flavor. I don't recommend skipping this ingredient, and you can easily find it at almost any health food store or online.

Vegan parmesan sprinkle recipe

Enjoy sprinkling this Parmesan alternative on top of salads, sandwiches, soups and, most important, pasta.

Vegan Parmesan recipe

Yields 1-1/4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup raw pine nuts (you can also use raw cashews)
  • 1/4 cup nutritional yeast flakes
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
  • 1/2 teaspoon (little scant) sea salt
  • Zest of 1 small lemon

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 300 degrees F, and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. To a food processor, add all the ingredients.
  3. Gently pulse until the pine nuts are very fine in texture (you do not want to overprocess this, or you will have a cheesy glob of pine nut butter.)
  4. Pour the mixture onto the baking sheet, and bake for 25 minutes, stirring periodically.
  5. Remove from the oven, and allow to cool completely.
  6. Sprinkle onto anything you would normally use Parmesan cheese on or just for added flavor to any dish. Store the "cheese" in a jar with a lid in the refrigerator for up to 1 month.

Charlie Sheen gives big tip to waiter stiffed by NFL star

Charlie Sheen is engaged — fourth time's a charm? >>

It all started with one Facebook post from restaurant, PYT, in Philadelphia. Philadelphia Eagles player, LeSean McCoy, and some friends went to eat at the restaurant. They ended up spending $61.56, but McCoy reportedly only left a 20-cent tip, according to owner, Tommy Up.

For the record, McCoy told the Philadelphia Daily News, "It's bulls***."

The restaurant posted the receipt on its Facebook page and social media went crazy with the news. The post itself has already received more than 4,000 comments, but they were mixed. Some didn't think it was appropriate that the restaurant posted the photo, while others were upset that McCoy left such a small tip.

Charlie Sheen is one of those who didn't appreciate McCoy's lack of goodwill, according to E! News. He posted on Twitter a generous tip for the waiter who had served McCoy.

A drunk Charlie Sheen greets fans at Taco Bell drive-thru >>

This isn't the first time that Sheen has gone out of his way to help those less fortunate. Back in November, he granted a dying fan's wish to meet him by paying for him and his family to fly to Los Angeles. And for his ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, he poured money on his head and said he would be donating it all to charity.
