VIDEO: Rita Ora is a less bitter Rihanna in "Never Let You Down"

Rihanna armies, please disengage.

We are NOT arguing talent today.

We are discussing, seriously, where Rihanna and Rita Ora are different and how it shines through in Rita Ora's latest music video, "Never Let You Down."

Remember when we took a poll to see who you preferred? >>

Produced by Ora's boo, Calvin Harris, this video is to Ora what Mandy Moore's "Candy" was back in the '90s. It's sprinkled with happiness, charm is drizzled in every crease and her smile is the cherry on top that would make even dentists swoon.

Rihanna is going to light up the stage alongside artists like Eminem at the MTV Awards >>

But why even mention Rihanna? Because it's just so hard NOT to mention her when you drop Ora's name. They look so much alike, yet Rita Ora has an aura that is the polar opposite of Rihanna. One relevant example is how Ora can show the same uncomfortable amount of under-boob in a video (this one in particular), but you don't feel it's as raunchy as Rihanna.

Don't see what I mean?

You DEFINITELY won't get it if you don't sign up for music updates via our newsletter >>

You know how some girls can wear booty shorts and it's chic and summer-y, whereas others make it look like boyshort underwear? Sure, you can blame anatomy for making the difference, and I'm saying the anatomy of these two artists is different.

Ora carries herself in a confident but unassuming way, whereas Rihanna charges into a room and revs up the libidos of even the comatose. But they're both ferociously hot.

The video may have made me think of Rihanna because it also has the whimsical innocence she had when she first broke out in music. Before Chris Brown (or before the industry got to her, whatever it is) she was a beacon of sunshine and free-spiritedness. Ora has that, and we all hope she doesn't lose it.

Her outfits are edgy, her summer-y spirit swims right into her breezy pop track and she's obviously as happy as ever. In one behind-the-scenes video she revealed, "I think this is the perfect song to launch my new album because I wanted to be as personal as possible and honest as possible and I'm happy right now, I'm in a really good place."

It's confirmed, everything about Ora and this upcoming album is appearing as cheery and promising as a bright Sunday morning. Go off and pick some flowers, sink into your comfy chair and press play.

Debbie Rowe is fighting for custody of Michael Jackson's kids

Debbie Rowe is making some big changes in her life. Not only is the mother of two of Michael Jackson's children newly engaged, but she is also reportedly going to be fighting for custody of her children.

INTERVIEW: The Jacksons plan "bittersweet" tribute to Michael >>

Rowe is the mother of 17-year-old Prince and 16-year-old Paris, and according to TMZ, is concerned about the environment they have been living in since their father's death. She also apparently believes that the children's guardian, their grandmother Katherine, is too old to really be involved in their lives.

Paris attempted suicide in 2013, and Rowe is reportedly especially concerned she is not getting the help she needs.

Rowe is apparently getting ready to file legal paperwork to ask for custody of the children, but is not seeking money from Michael Jackson's estate. The former nurse may have someone else on her side in the fight for her kids: She told TMZ she is engaged to Jackson's friend Marc Schaffel.

"We haven't set a date. I'm happy with just how things are," she said. "We'll take it a little bit at a time."

The kid is not his son! Michael Jackson DNA results fake >>

Rowe said the commitment has been a long time in coming. She explained that she didn't want to say yes right away to his proposal because she was concerned she might have cancer.

"Yesterday I went to see Dr. Fuller and he said, 'You're good. You're good to go,'" she said. "I drove up to the house and I said, 'OK, I'm here and I'm gonna be here for a while, so I'm gonna marry you.'"

Schaffel is no stranger to Jackson's children, a fact that may help Rowe in her custody fight.

"They've known him since they were little," she said. "They like him a lot."

It's not clear if Rowe is asking for custody of Blanket Jackson, Michael's youngest child. Rowe is not Blanket's biological mother.

Four bada** women, including Joan Jett, Lorde, Kim Gordon and St. Vincent took the stage in place of the late Kurt Cobain last night as Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Playing the iconic grunge band's hits "Smells Like Teen Spirit," "All Apologies," "Lithium" and "Aneurysm," the ladies gave a new twist to old hits while still honoring the greatness of the songs.

Watch Joan Jett perform with Nirvana

R.E.M. lead singer Michael Stipe, a close personal friend of Cobain and wife Courtney Love (she is said to have inspired the song "Crush with Eyeliner"), gave a heartfelt speech about the band's musical legacy.

"Nirvana were artists in every sense of the word," Stipe said. "Nirvana tapped into a voice that was yearning to be heard. Nirvana were kicking against the mainstream. They spoke truth and a lot of people listened."

"They were singular and loud and melodic and deeply original," Stipe continued. "And that voice. That voice. Kurt, we miss you. I miss you. This is not just pop music. This is something much greater than that."

Kiss won't rock and roll all night at Hall of Fame induction >>

Courtney Love, for one, kept things short, sweet and classy. "You know, I have a big speech, but I'm not going to say it," she explained before hugging everyone on stage, including Nirvana band members Dave Grohl — with whom she has famously feuded — and Krist Novoselic, as well as Cobain's mother, who she once blamed for pushing daughter Frances Bean into filing a restraining order against her.

"That's it," Love said. "I just wish Kurt was here to hear this. Feel this. Tonight, he really would have appreciated it."

Cobain died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound 20 years ago.

The iconic grunge band was inducted in their first year of eligibility, joining Kiss, Peter Gabriel, Hall & Oates, Cat Stevens and Linda Ronstadt in the Class of 2014.

In the last episode of Once Upon a Time, Zelena challenged Regina to a magical duel and revealed to the town that she was Regina's sister. The challenge and the revelation made Regina question herself and her powers, especially after she realized that an old letter from Rumple to her mother wasn't talking about her, but Zelena.

Once Upon a Time adds another Wicked villain >>

While Regina was dealing with her inner turmoil, Emma took a group to Zelena's to try to snag Rumple's blade. They were quickly thwarted when Zelena showed up and set Rumple upon them. When the time came for the duel and Regina wasn't there, Emma stood up for herself, but wasn't able to fully take on Zelena. Luckily, Regina arrived and the sisters battled for power. In the end, Zelena was defeated when she discovered that she couldn't steal Regina's heart.

During all of the melee, Emma put Henry in the protection of Hook, who told the boy about his father and how much the two of them had in common.

In the April 13 episode, titled "The Jolly Roger," it looks like more will be learned about the missing year and what Hook was doing during that time.

Celeb bump day: Kendra Wilkinson, Ginnifer Goodwin, Jessie James, JWoww >>

In the sneak peek clip from the episode, Emma asks Hook to hang out with Henry again and, of course, the pirate thinks of a way to make her offer sound lascivious. But once he hears her real reason behind the request, he realizes that Emma and Regina's plan could just work. He has seen the power inside of her and thinks it's about time she embraced it. Hook is surprised to find out that though Emma wants to use magic to defeat the Wicked Witch, she has no plans to keep Henry in Storybrooke once that is done. But Hook has some insight on what can happen to someone when he or she tries to go back to the old life and it appears that it doesn't go well.

In the preview for the episode, we get a glimpse into the past year, where Hook apparently tried to go back to his pirating ways and made more than one woman mad while doing it. The preview jumps from the year past to the present in Storybrooke and it looks like he just might attempt to take on the Wicked Witch himself.

In a photo from the episode, Hook looks especially dashing.

Family dinners are about to get a lot more awkward around Selena Gomez's house after the pop star fired her parents as her managers.

The former Wizards of Waverly Place star is reportedly seeking someone more experienced in the biz to help take her through the next grown-up steps in her career.

"Selena feels she's outgrown her parents," a source told TMZ.

Is Selena Gomez Justin Bieber's muse? >>

Gomez's mother and stepfather guided her through her Disney days, but now the star is making all kinds of adult decisions, including getting back together with bad boy Justin Bieber — another move her parents are "vehemently opposed" to, according to the source.

The singer is reportedly eyeing Katy Perry's manager Bradford Cobb as a replacement, but it wouldn't be surprising if Bieber's right-hand man Scooter Braun was also in the running for the job.

Justin Bieber & Selena Gomez get steamy on the dance floor >>

The couple has recently been spotted in Miami together, where the Biebs is hitting the studio to make some new music, and rumor has it they may even be working on something together — even a tour.

"The duo hope[s] that hitting the road will repair their battered images," a source told Star magazine.

"Ticket sales would be through the roof, and they desperately need the positive publicity after Justin's bad-boy behavior and Selena's stint in rehab."

Could this be the catalyst behind the parental dumping?

It looks like Khloé Kardashian is finally over her estranged husband, Lamar Odom. The reality star is icing the athlete out of her life.

According to Radar Online, Odom has been "blowing up her phone" with "desperate calls." However, she's been standing her ground after months and months of drug and cheating allegations.

The gossip site's source revealed that "she's been refusing to take his calls lately."

Kardashian's strength is not the only sign of her moving on. Her canoodling with rapper French Montana has the paparazzi ready with their lenses. This budding relationship might also be driving Odom crazy. He doesn't want to see his ex-wife with another man.

The insider continued, "Khloé is out in public with new guys all over them and it is killing Lamar. Yeah, he was totally with other women [first], but he doesn't want Khloé to shove it in his face that she is moving on. Lamar is jealous and gets mad when she refuses to talk to him."

VIDEO: Khloé Kardashian calls show hosts "f***ing desperate" >>

Kardashian tried for months to make their relationship work and get Odom the help he needed, but the former Clippers player is finally realizing their marriage is officially over.

"Lamar has been telling people that they don't have to waste any more time with each other," the source said. "He wanted to get back with her, he's been blowing up her phone lately, but since she wants nothing to do with him, he's saying he's done with her too. He's making a lot of desperate calls."

While their divorce has not been finalized, both parties are on different paths in life. There is no reconciliation for Kardashian and Odom.

It's not Sheeran's standard, but his unparalleled "touch" that graces this track and makes it something you didn't even think it could be.

Ed Sheeran raps on his latest single?! >>

I mean, really? It's hard to imagine this sung from a guy's perspective. It's very much a female ode to her man.

But, his singing chops and his stripped down charm was so distracting I didn't even notice his "surfboard" sounded like "surfboat."

Do you know how much money Mr. and Mrs. Carter are surfing through? >>

Cute.

Oh, and I'm not entirely crazy. I know it's blasphemous to dare claim someone's cover of Queen Bey's original masterpieces could be better. So I assume that there will be people who hate this cover. But I don't say this could be better than Beyoncé's version because it sounds better. It's because I cannot believe how he transformed it from what it was into this.

It's a remarkably understated perspective on the song. Who knew that his toying around for a snippet would cause such a ruckus? He mentions the demand for it in the first few seconds of the video below.

So, keep an open mind when you check out the track. It's not recorded formally, and he's playing live, but that only adds to the appeal. He shows that even when he's fooling around, he can produce priceless material. It's as chill as Sheeran is, but has enough swag that I feel as if the HOV and Bey herself would do a feature on it.

This is what makes him Ed Sheeran. This is why Ed Sheeran doesn't have competition. Well, that and the fact that he seems like the type of guy who has a lot of Beyoncé songs memorized.

Taylor Swift, Ed Sheeran to appear in MTV documentary

Country music favorites Taylor Swift and Ed Sheeran will appear together in a documentary that MTV began filming today.

Taylor Swift began filming an MTV documentary about Ed Sheeran, a source told SheKnows. While the news hasn't broken yet, the source revealed that shooting began taking place today (Friday, April 11). While it is not yet known what exactly will be featured on the MTV special, it will most likely include information about the famous pair's relationship and singing careers.

Why Ed Sheeran may be the perfect guy for Taylor Swift >>

On a recent interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Swift praised Sheeran for having great superstar potential and revealed why she picked him to be her opening act for her North American tour last year.

"I've found that choosing a great opening act depends just as much on who the person is offstage as who they [sic] are onstage," Swift said. "When someone is as approachable and outgoing as Ed, you know you're not going to deal with tantrums and diva-like behavior that I really have no patience for."

Meanwhile, while they have become great pals, Sheeran insists he has never dated Swift, and his new emotional break-up song is not about her. "It's 100 percent not about Taylor," Sheeran told Rolling Stone magazine.

Ed Sheeran is living his childhood dream, except for one thing >>

"Taylor is one of those people that if you piss her off and she writes a song about you, it's not good news for you," the "I See Fire" crooner added. But, ironically, when Swift heard her friend's emotional song about heartache, she was impressed, but alarmed at the same time.

"She was just like, 'Whatever happens, ever, between us as friends,'" Sheeran revealed, "'I never want to piss you off that much.'"

Rumors that Swift and Sheeran might be dating came when the pair was spotted together at a hotel last year after they worked on song lyrics for the British star's new album, X. The pair also collaborated on Swift's tune, "Everything Has Changed," which features Sheeran on a remix version and the video.

Drake was announced as the host of the 2014 ESPY Awards Thursday and, to celebrate, the rapper made an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live! But it wasn't any ordinary old sit-down.

Drake agreed to go undercover for a special edition of Kimmel's "Lie Witness News" segment to find out what people really think of him, and it wasn't pretty — until it was.

"It's kinda like when Tom Sawyer went to his own funeral," Kimmel explained.

Drake & Rihanna's steamy duet sparks romance rumors >>

Fake Drake started out asking random people on the streets of Hollywood what they thought of "his" stunts while hosting the ESPYs the night before. Problem is that the ESPYs aren't until July 16 — so everyone commenting about the awards "last night" was just pulling it out of their behinds.

The rapper also asked people on the street about made-up Drake scenarios, and even had a busker make up an insulting song about him on the spot.

"I don't like Drake, I think he's an actor, he's not a real rapper," the guitarist explained before screeching a tune, "Drake, hey, I think you suck!"

Ultimately, the star did find at least one fan — and rewarded the kid in an awesome way.

Robert Downey Jr. took the plunge and created a Twitter account today with the handle @RobertDowneyJr and headline "You know who I am." Already the public is hanging onto his every word. It's been 59 minutes since his fateful first, and so far solitary, tweet and the Due Date star has already amassed upward of 244,000 faithful followers. That's got to be some kind of record.

POLL: Is Lindsay Lohan the next Robert Downey Jr.? >>

As for his first tweet? RDJ kept it simple and posted a pic of himself holding up a sign with his Twitter handle, which is what high-profile celebs usually do in order to get their page verified quickly. The Twitter staff was much obliged and jumped on the task tout suite. Downey is already rockin' the powder blue check mark next to his name. The process can sometimes take weeks for some stars, but I guess when Iron Man requests to be verified, you do it and do it fast!

We were impressed when actress Connie Britton picked up over 10,000 followers within the first 40 minutes of opening her account back in March, but Downey has quickly surpassed that number and then some. A couple weeks later and Britton is holding strong at a 56.9K following.

We're dying for some nuggets of wisdom from Downey. Or perhaps he'll hop on the internet cat obsession and post some cute pics of his beloved kittens Monty and Dart. He'd be in good company. Ed Sheeran went so far as to create a Twitter account just for his precious rescue feline Graham.

People may be clamoring to get in on RDJ's musings in 140 characters or less, but don't expect a "follow for a follow" from the superstar... unless you're an A-lister. So far Downey is following 29 fellow famous folk, and every single one is Twitter-verified as well.

By the way... Downey's army is 302,000 strong now. What the heck are you doing? Head on over to Twitter to see what the fuss is all about.

It has been 20 years since the death of Nirvana frontman Kurt Cobain — and just about the same amount of time since the surviving band members began feuding with Cobain's widow Courtney Love.

VIDEO: Joan Jett rocks Nirvana at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame >>

But Love, Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic seemed to put their differences aside on Thursday night, when Nirvana was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. The band was inducted in its first year of eligibility, according to Rolling Stone, and Courtney Love embraced Dave Grohl as they appeared on stage together.

"This is my family I'm looking at right now," Love said. "I just wish Kurt could have been here. Tonight he would have really appreciated it."

Kurt Cobain was found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot wound on April 5, 1994, leaving behind his band, wife and baby daughter. Courtney Love has been fighting with Grohl and Novoselic over the partnership formed to manage Nirvana's affairs, Nirvana, LLC, even filing numerous lawsuits over the issue. At one point, she even said she should be in charge of the band's affairs because "Kurt Cobain was Nirvana."

How Kurt Cobain and Nirvana were nominated for a Grammy >>

Courtney Love sold some of Nirvana's publishing rights in 2006, which further escalated the feud. When Cobain's likeness appeared in a video game, Love blamed Grohl for it. But according to Rolling Stone, the company said the rights were granted by Cobain's estate, which is managed by Courtney Love.

But it looks like the parties put their differences aside on Thursday night during the induction ceremony, to which Love, Grohl and Novoselic were all invited. Love and Grohl embraced during the induction.

Love later posted a photo of the embrace on Twitter.

Although their differences may not be settled, for one night, it felt like everything was okay once again.

Overview

Ancestry plays a large part in this small breed's big personality. As descendants of larger breeds including Siberian Huskies, among others, Pomeranians originally weighed in at 30 pounds and were always white. Today, Pomeranians are seen in a variety of colors and make excellent lap dogs, weighing in at 3 to 7 pounds. Known for having a lot of energy, Pomeranians require daily exercise and playtime to stay happy and entertained. These little guys are known for having a lot to bark about, so pet owners looking for a quiet companion might want to opt for a different breed.

Breed standards

  • AKC group: Toy Dog
  • UKC group: Companion Dog
  • Average lifespan: 12 - 15 years
  • Average size:  4 - 6 pounds
  • Coat appearance: Harsh, thick, dense

  • Hypoallergenic: Yes
  • Other identifiers: Compact, square body frame; tiny pointed ears stand erect; high-set feathered tail
  • Possible alterations: None

Is this breed right for you?

Pomeranians make excellent companions for all households. Due to the size and frame of Pomeranians, it's important to watch this breed around young children to ensure they are handled properly. Owners of this energetic breed must be able to provide time for daily exercise and playtime. Their pocket-size frames make Pomeranians very suitable for apartment dwellers provided they can get their pets out for frequent walks. Potential owners should be ready to love being surrounded by luscious locks of Pomeranian fur, as this breed is very prone to shedding.

The adorable Pom knows its own cuteness and demands constant pampering and attention, but one look at that face and you'll be happy to oblige. Pampering a Pomeranian with weekly brushings and frequent trips to the groomer is a must to keep them happy. This happy-go-lucky pup loves socializing as much as she loves curling up on a warm lap, and a day of play and cuddles would make for time well spent.

Overview

Bred for greatness, Pekingese have often been called "lion dogs" for their close likeness to the petite Chinese guard dogs of long ago and, of course, their larger-than-life hair. Despite their small stature, Pekes tend to have an immense sense of self. Weighing between 7 and 14 pounds with an average height of 6 to 9 inches, these compact companions don't let size define their limits. Stubborn and demanding, the Pekingese is in a league of its own.

Is this breed right for you?

This friendly, loving and tiny breed makes a perfect fit for an apartment lifestyle. Pekingese require only moderate exercise and are perfectly happy playing indoor games. Due to their strong personalities, some Pekes may not do well with small children, as they thoroughly enjoy being the center of attention. This breed also does not do well in warm climates and shouldn't be outdoors for extended periods of time. Potential owners should also be warned: Pekingese are known to snore. If you're going for the best-in-show look, be ready to spend a lot of time and money on grooming. Pekes' long locks need to be brushed on a regular basis to prevent matting, particularly the long and coarse top coat.

Elisabeth Moss picks her most awkward make-out scene on Mad Men

Mad Men's Peggy Olson may be brilliant at her job, but her love life is a different story. She just can't get it together. While none of her relationships have lasted very long, there have certainly been quite a few of them. For a girl who came to Sterling Cooper with no real interest in pinning down a guy, she's continually found herself pinned down by someone, right? When we chatted with Elisabeth Moss at PaleyFest, she agreed with us on Peggy's biggest mistakes.

"I think, like, pretty much every single person she ever slept with," Moss teased. "I think that she's just not managed to get that quite right yet. She's one of those women that is good at her job, that's her first love. And she's better at her work than she is in her personal life."

Since she's found herself in so many compromising positions in the last six years, we wondered if any moment in particular stood out. Was there one specifically-weird or terrifying situation in particular that sticks out in her mind?

"It's always awkward. It's always weird," Moss said. "I think the weirdest ones are the ones where you don't know the person at all. Although, I had to kiss Jay [R. Ferguson], who plays Stan [Rizzo], like, last season, I think it was. That was really weird. He's like my brother now, he really is and we're closer and we're friends and that was... I didn't like that; that was weird. He's a good kisser, but I didn't like it. It was weird."

For the record, we're still totally rooting for Peggy and Rizzo to end up together. While the actors may feel like siblings, their characters' chemistry is just too perfect to ignore. Yes, they pick at each other and annoy each other. But, Peggy is always at her most fun and laid-back when she's hanging with Rizzo. With only one (split) season left to go for Mad Men, we're dying to find out if they'll end up in each others' arms come the finale.

To find out Moss' favorite episode and hear what curse word comes flying out of Peggy's mouth in Mad Men Season 7, watch the video of our red carpet interview.

Overview

This is a breed whose sole life purpose is companionship. However, they weren't bred to accompany any average Joe. This regal breed completed the royal entourage of high-class aristocrats and leaders around the world. Yes, as dog owners we know how much our pets worship us, but no other breed masters the art of standing (aka snorting, sleeping, snoring) by your side like the funny faced Pug.

Is this breed right for you?

Pugs make the best family pets — just make sure your toddler knows the difference between hugging and squeezing for the sake of those bulging Pug eyes. This breed requires low levels of exercise and makes a great apartment dweller. Although Pugs don't require multiple daily walks, they live for constant companionship. Pugs thrive with lots of human interaction so busy bees and travel enthusiasts might choose to opt out. Despite their short coat, Pugs shed like crazy so get ready to find little Pug hairs everywhere. Allergy suffers and neat freaks, this may not be the breed for you.

A dream day in the life of a Pug

No other dog provides a cuddlier shoulder to lean on as loyal Pugs make themselves available to you through thick and thin. They live to make you laugh with a mere glance at their goofy faces and their little curly tails. With an equally comical personality, don't count on this breed to sit in silence for too long; snorting, snoring and a multitude of questionable noises complete the Pug package and are a sure sign of a perfect day in the making.

Celebs 101: 10 Things to know about Beau Mirchoff

1. He cries at movies.

Most recently, the hunky 6-foot-1-inch hottie cried during Lars von Trier's Melancholia, starring Kirsten Dunst and Kiefer Sutherland. We get it — any story about the apocalypse can bring a guy down, so maybe start Netflixing comedies?

2. Stains make him feel awkward.

Apparently, this happens quite a lot to the messy eater. Beau, may we suggest investing in a Tide to Go pen? Or at least drink your lattes through a straw?

3. When feeling sad, he vents by making loud noises.

We think it's always good for a man to express himself, but we also hope any grunting or screeching can be kept at a minimum, especially for the sake of his lady friends and neighbors.

4. He would love a spin-off from the show Cheers.

He thinks the show would have to be about a "bunch of old drunks." If Woody Harrelson were part of it, we'd watch for sure! But wait — wasn't there already a spin-off from Cheers called Frasier?

5. He doesn't not believe in ghosts.

Huh? The actor explained, "I'm kind of ambivalent. I've never really had an experience, but I'm not going to say that they don’t exist." How politically and paranormally correct of you, Beau.

6. He hates lines at the airport and traffic.

"Just waiting in general. I kind of hate waiting in lines," he said. Must we remind the 25-year-old that patience is a virtue?

7. His celebrity crush is Jessica Chastain.

Ginger alert! Who knew he had a thing for redheads? We just hope he stays away from Lindsay Lohan, at least for now.

8. His favorite gift was a Tamagotchi.

"I got one when I was 14, so I was too old for it. I pretended like I didn't like it. I thought, this is so silly. This is what Grandma thinks [I want]. But then I played with it, and I really liked it." Mirchoff got awkwardly excited when we told him they're coming out with a new and improved line of Japanese handheld digital pets.

9. He has a favorite pickup line.

"Did it hurt? [Pause] When you fell from heaven?" he said as he laughed. Like his character Matty McKibben, Mirchoff also seems to be charming and outgoing but a bit more likely to make fun of himself. We like that in a guy.

10. He stars in the new film See You in Valhalla.

This indie film about a young woman who returns home to deal with her brother's bizarre death also stars Sara Hyland (Modern Family). It releases in theaters later this year, and we can't wait!

Thinks Snooki's baby is going to be a boy

Darn. We were really hoping for a girl so that Nicole Polizzi would finally know what her own mother went through when Snooki was Jersey Turnpike-ing with her cuka out on Jersey Shore.

2

Perspiring makes her feel really awkward

"Mostly from my armpits and hands when I get nervous," she said, sheepishly. Um, should we tell her Tom's of Maine has a product for that?

3

She finally got a dog!

The last time we spoke to Tarlov, she mentioned wanting a pet, so we're happy she's had her dream fulfilled. The actress regularly features photos of her dog on Instagram.

4

Tamagotchi helped her prepare for a dog

The Japanese handheld digital pet she received from a friend last year apparently helped Tarlov master the responsibilities of pet ownership. Way to go, technology!

5

When feeling sad, she cries into her puppy

Aw! What a great comfort creature!

6

Would love to see a Saved by the Bell spinoff

We'd love to see the cast of Awkward act in that spinoff.

7

She believes in ghosts

Though she hasn't had any spooky experiences of her own while awake, she believes she's been visited in her dreams by people in her life who have passed.

8

She hates parsley

Too bad, that little green sprig is said to be quite nutritious. High in vitamin K, it's also a great source of antioxidants.

9

She's bad at receiving gifts.

"Something's wrong with me," she told us, jokingly. Apparently, her parents are baffled at her response to her yearly birthday gifts.

10

Ryan Gosling is her celebrity crush

"It's so cliché, but he's so hot. I can't help it." We're right there with you, babe. We love Ryan Gosling, too.

Overview

Don't let their compact size fool you — when it comes to Chihuahuas, big personalities come in small packages. Confident, intelligent and passionate, Chihuahuas love to play, cuddle and speak their minds when necessary. These little guys take loyalty to the next level. Primarily bred as human companions, Chihuahuas are known for attaching themselves to their owner. They can be protective, territorial and even jealous. Undeterred by their small size, Chihuahuas use their loud, high-pitched barks as a way of "guarding" their beloved masters.

Breed standards

AKC group: Toy Dog

UKC group: Companion Dog

Average lifespan: 12 - 20 years

Average size:  6 pounds and under

Coat appearance: Varies

Coloration: Tan, red, black, white or splash

Hypoallergenic: No

Other identifiers: Small frame and fragile head structure; ears are pointed and erect

Possible alterations: Head shape can apple- or deer-shaped; coat can be long- or short-haired

Is this breed right for you?

Chihuahuas are a great fit for many, but households with young children may want to think twice about bringing home this tiny breed. Due to their size, Chihuahuas must be handled with gentle care and require constant supervision around young children. Chihuahuas make excellent companions for apartment dwellers and families with older children as they require little maintenance and space. Whether you opt for a pet with a smooth coat or a long-haired Chihuahua, grooming for this breed is fairly low-maintenance. Chihuahua owners should also beware of a soft spot in their dog's skull known as a molera. As the only breed born with an incomplete skull, it's important to treat this breed with extra-gentle care, especially during the first six months of growth.

A dream day in the life of a Chihuahua

Getting treated like the kings or queens they makes this tiny breed feel right at home. Chihuahuas love being carried around, and luckily, they're just the right size for it. Put this breed in a cute carrier, a stroller or gently carry them in your arms and consider their day made. This pint-sized pup is prone to suffering during extreme heat and cold so make sure they're appropriately dressed for the occasion.
