It may be hard to believe, but singer Jewel released her debut album Pieces of You almost 18 years ago. After 10 albums, the singer announced Monday she will be releasing a greatest hits album in 2013, and some famous friends will be joining her.

The new album will include 17 tracks and she will be re-doing some of her biggest hits.

"I just wanted to do some duets with some artists I really liked and some voices I like," Jewel told Billboard. "Kelly [Clarkson] was amazing. She was a hoot to have in the studio. She had done 'Foolish Games' in several talent shows prior to American Idol, so she really knew it. I'm such a fan of her voice and love what she added to the song. She was so effortless on it. It's neat to hear it in her new light."

Besides Clarkson, Jewel also invited the Pistol Annies to collaborate on another of her famous tracks, "You Were Meant for Me".

"With Pistol Annies, I love them," she said. "I think they're cool, and I was really excited Miranda and the girls wanted to be on it. We had a lot of fun."

The songs will also be featured on the album in their original versions, but she wanted listeners to hear the new versions as well. Jewel spoke with SheKnows about collaborating with the different singers.

"I love those girls, they are all so fun to be around and hang out with," she said on the red carpet of the American Country Awards. "It was flattering, too, they grew up listening to my music.”

The singer said when she started, she never thought she’d be where she is today.

"I think it's neat," she told Billboard. "I got signed when I was 17, and I never thought my career would go as far as it did. I really idolized John Prine, Tom Waits, that sort of . I hoped that would be my lot — I'd get to have a fan base and make records and tour. I never dreamed it would get to the highs it had. And when it did I was quite concerned about longevity, and I've always tried to make decisions that hopefully would create a good, strong fan base that was really loyal. And that's what's happened, so I feel really blessed."

The album will also include some new tracks as well as the collaborations and hits. It will be out Feb. 5, 2013.

AskMen.com has released their 12^th annual list of their readers’ most desirable women of the year, and this year was somewhat of a shock. Some familiar faces on the list have fallen and have been replaced with fresher faces. But sex appeal wasn’t the only standard for the list.

"Desirability isn't any one of these things, but all of them," said AskMen.com. "You chose women who represent the complete package of beauty, brains, ambition and charm. And we think you chose wisely."

The top of the list includes Mila Kunis, Kate Upton, Rihanna and Emma Stone. But at the number one spot is newcomer Jennifer Lawrence.

"In 2012, sultry 22-year-old actress Jennifer Lawrence achieved wide recognition by playing heroine Katniss Everdeen in the highly anticipated film adaptation of The Hunger Games," according to the survey. "Based on her performance in the film, Rolling Stone named her 'the most talented young actress in America.' In 2012 Jennifer also starred alongside Elisabeth Shue in House at the End of the Street and with Bradley Cooper in Silver Linings Playbook."

But, more noteably than the top choice, there were many celebrities who fell far down the list or fell off altogether.

"Past favorites slid down the list, as Kim Kardashian fell all the way from No. 8 to No. 98 this year, further proof that AskMen readers are tiring of the reality TV star," said Yahoo. "It's possible Kim's relationship with bad boy Kanye West contributed to the 90-spot plunge, but readers clearly didn't hold dating drama over Kristen Stewart, who may have lost favor with Twihards in 2012, but actually improved her standing with men, jumping from No. 27 last year to No. 7 on this year's list."

Others who dropped off the list include favorites like Jennifer Lopez, Jessica Alba, Penelope Cruz, Megan Fox and Taylor Swift.

Scotty McCreery has had a good couple of years. After winning the tenth season of American Idol in 2011, he was shot into the world of stardom and hasn’t looked back. His first studio album came in at number one just five months after winning Idol, and he soon set off on a tour with Brad Paisley.

McCreery spoke with SheKnows on the red carpet of the American Country Awards about being given two of the greatest honors of his life. The singer performed at Christmas in Washington and had a chance to meet President Obama.

"That was huge," he said. "We got the chance to go out there and meet the pres and sing for the pres. It was a little more nerve-racking than most shows, but the president was cool and he was just there for the music and there for the celebration of Christmas, so it was fun."

He also had a chance to meet singer Diana Ross at the concert.

"Never met her, she’s a legend," he said. "It’s always pretty shocking when you get to meet somebody like that. She was incredible, I got chills listening to her."

McCreery also talked about life on the road with a country legend and how it helped him grow as an artist.

"Getting to go on the road with Brad Paisley and see all the fans out there January through October, that was pretty special for me," he said. "I learned a lot from Brad and The Band Perry, that was probably the highlight of 2012 for me."

McCreery released a Christmas album on Oct. 16 and is looking forward to 2013. He says that , "If 2013 happens, I’ll be putting out a new album."

Trace Adkins can now be considered one of the legends of the country music world, and hosting Monday’s American Country Awards only added to that. Adkins co-hosted the show with Kristin Chenoweth and chatted with SheKnows before the show. His words before the show were inspiring.

"I just hope I don’t throw up," he said.

Besides that, he had little to say about the plans for the show, but did say Santa would show up . He also mentioned the chemistry with Chenoweth and how he was focused on that.

"I’m just going to try to stay somewhere in the same vicinity with Kristin," he said. "She’s got so much energy, she is always moving so fast, I have trouble keeping up with her. I’ll just do the best I can."

The co-hosts were reprising their roles this year, since they also hosted the 2011 awards. But for Adkins, his comments on hosting revealed much about the singer.

"You have to keep trying to one up yourself," he said. "If you’re not trying to get better then you might as well just quit. We hope that tonight’s show is the best one yet… maybe they’ll let us do this again someday."

Adkins also spoke about his numerous tours for the USO. He has been an outspoken advocate for the troops and went to Japan this time.

"I’ve never ever had a bad experience going and doing a USO tour," Adkins said. "It’s just one of the most amazing things that I’ve ever had a chance to do, and this time was no exception. This time we went to Japan, went to Okinawa, which was really surreal. But it was a great experience."

When asked what he is going to get up to in 2013, Adkins said there wouldn’t be much happening, but he will in fact be quite busy.

"I don’t think anything really crazy, just touring, [I] have a new album coming out in June," he said.

Adkins will be playing in Las Vegas on Saturday, Dec. 15 and will be out on a North American tour in 2013.

These cookies will blow your mind! Super soft and super fudgy, these cookies pack a serious chocolate punch. This dough can and will be very, very sticky and very thick. We highly advise you to allow the dough to chill several hours before baking so that you can handle and roll the dough into balls. If you find the dough starting to get sticky while assembling, just chill the dough until it firms back up. These are wonderful with a cold glass of milk.

Chocolate snowball crinkle cookie recipe

Yields approximately 3 dozen, depending on the size of the cookie

Ingredients:

• 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
• 2 cups white sugar
• 1 stick unsalted butter, softened
• 4 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar

Directions:

1. In a stand mixer , cream together white sugar and butter. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla. Once mixed add in the cocoa powder slowly making sure to mix very well.
2. Combine the flour, baking powder, and salt and add into the cocoa mixture. Mix very well . Cover the dough and chill for at least 4 hours. The longer the dough is chilled, the easier it will be to handle.
3. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F and line 2 to 3 cookie sheets with parchment paper.
4. Roll dough into 1-inch balls and place them on the parchment-lined cookie sheet. Chill the cookies for 10-15 minutes to firm them back up.
5. Put the confectioners' sugar in a bowl. Roll each chilled dough ball in the sugar, making sure to coat the cookie as much as possible. Place the cookie balls back onto the parchment-lined cookie sheets.
6. Bake in a preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes. Do not overbake or they will get very hard. Once done, let stand on the cookie sheet for a minute before transferring to wire racks to cool. Store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Track Palin, eldest son of Todd and Sarah Palin, is about to be back on the singles scene. The 23-year-old and wife Britta have both reportedly filed divorce papers.

While Track Palin and his wife of 18 months can't agree enough to get along, they both concur that breaking apart their young family is the way to go.

TMZ reports that by jointly filing divorce papers in their home state of Alaska, they are signaling they have fully settled property and custody issues, including child support.

Babs has been broadcasting her annual list since 1993, when the most fascinating person honor was bestowed upon then-First Lady Hillary Clinton, who returned to the list again in 2003 and now in 2012.

Tonight, Walters will release the final two additions to her list of 10, usually leaving her top pick for the very end of the show.

So, what exactly makes her first eight selections so fascinating? Or, is Babs just easily fascinated? You be the judge!

Ben Affleck

The talented actor-turned-director was apparently quite fascinating in 2003, when he was first included in Walters’ list. That was the year that the first version of “Bennifer” was still alive and well, and the unfortunate movie that is Gigli happened. Luckily for Affleck, a lot has changed since then. There will probably be plenty of chatter about his growing family and his highly acclaimed film, Argo.

It’s no surprise that the 50 Shades of Grey author is being included in this list. Her controversial erotic novel surpassed Harry Potter as the fastest-selling paperback of all time, for goodness sake. It was also the topic of just about every discussion for a good portion of 2012. Yep, we’d say that’s pretty fascinating.

Gabby Douglas

She may be tiny, but Gabby Douglas has done more in her first 16 years than many people do in a lifetime. The skilled gymnast captivated the world at the London Olympics with her strength and precision, and has continued to reel us in with her mature outlook on life. The gold medalist can also add author to her growing resume with the release of her first book, Grace, Gold & Glory: My Leap of Faith. Luckily for us, she also plans to go for the gold again in Rio in 2016.

Governor Chris Christie

You know you’ve made it big when you’re being spoofed on Saturday Night Live. If that’s the case, then New Jersey Governor Chris Christie has definitely made it. Christie was first thrust into the spotlight during the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy as he assessed the monumental damage to his state. Aside from his leadership, Christie became well known for his black fleece sweatshirt, prompting SNL to poke fun at his favorite piece of clothing.

Hillary Rodham Clinton

The Secretary of State is once again making her way onto Walter’s annual list. This will mark Clinton’s third appearance on the show, but her first time appearing as Secretary of State, a role she has held since 2009. During the past three years, Clinton has already set records for being the most-traveled secretary for time in office. One topic Babs is sure to bring up: a possible 2016 presidential run.

Honey Boo Boo

The latest addition to the 10 Most Fascinating People list is also the most controversial. Honey Boo Boo, a.k.a. Alana Thompson, is the star of the hit reality show, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo. Whether you love her or hate her, one thing’s for sure: this pint-sized beauty queen is a ratings sensation. Which, we presume, is exactly what Walters had in mind when selecting her to join the list.

One Direction

Barbara’s going crazy, crazy crazy over the hottest boy band on the globe, One Direction. The band recently made their American TV debut on the TODAY Show, breaking the show’s record with 15,000 fans in attendance. That same day, the hotties released their sophomore album, Take Me Home, and announced that they’ll be hitting the big screen in their own 3-D movie next summer. We think Babs has a crush!

Seth MacFarlane

You probably know him best as the creative mind behind Family Guy, but MacFarlane has quite a lengthy resume. The actor, animator, comedian, writer, singer, producer and director is also set to host the 85th Academy Awards in February, which should be interesting — he’s known for pushing the boundaries with some of his work. In fact, Family Guy has received criticism for some of its rather controversial content. Which, of course, makes for a great Babs interview.

Taylor Swift

Aside from her career success and musical brilliance, she has dated 13 guys in four years, which is reason enough for us to add Taylor to the list!

Psy

Who doesn’t know how to do the "Gangnam Style" dance by now? South Korean musician Psy started a pop culture phenomenon when his single hit YouTube. The video has been viewed more than 935 million times, making it the site’s most-watched video. Plus, there’s the controversy factor: Psy sang anti-American lyrics in a rap song he performed back in 2004, which he has since apologized for.

Kristen Stewart

K-Stew has had quite a year. Some might even call it fascinating! For starters, the final installment of the Twilight series was released following her very public cheating on R-Patz with her married director, resulting in Twi-hard mayhem. Drama, drama, drama!

Barack Obama

After winning a tight race, President Obama is back for another four years. We’re sure Babs would have plenty to ask him about that first debate performance and how he plans to bridge the party gap during his next term.

Norah Jones may not have grown up close to her father, the late sitar player Ravi Shankar, but in recent years the pair became close. Today, the songstress is in mourning after his death on Tuesday.

Paul McCartney might be channeling the late, great Kurt Cobain on Wednesday night — that is, if you believe a report from UK talboid The Sun.

The Beatles superstar has apparently been working with Nirvana bandmates Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic and the idea came up during one of those sessions.

"I didn’t really know who they were," he said of Nirvana. "They are saying how good it is to be back together. I said 'Whoa? You guys haven’t played together for all that time?' And somebody whispered to me 'That’s Nirvana. You’re Kurt.' I couldn’t believe it."

The organizers behind the 12-12-12 benefit concert — scheduled for Wednesday night at Madison Square Garden — wouldn't comment on the rumors and advised people to tune in and find out.

And if McCartney doesn't show up to do his best Cobain impression? Well, the Hurricane Sandy Benefit concert will still be pretty entertaining. The lineup is set to include everyone from Jay-Z and Kanye West to Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Roger Waters and Alicia Keys.

All money raised will benefit the Robin Hood Fund — and organizers like Jon Bon Jovi hope it does more than a little good for the victims affected by October's storm.

"It was hard to see your hometown devastated like this," the New Jersey native said after the devastation hit the east coast. "My grammar school turned into a shelter, people's homes gone and them saying to me, 'We are homeless, we never intended to be homeless.' These are hard-working, blue-collar people."

"As Americans, we all come together in these times of need and all feel we're all New Yorkers in these times of need... People come together in this time."

It's original to say the least. Love is the figurative and literal answer to bringing life back to the undead in the upcoming film, Warm Bodies.

The movie's catching a lot of hype as zombies and the whole apocalypse craze nears closer to Mayan red flag date, Dec. 21, but if we survive into February we'll get a chance to see for sure if the movie accomplished its goal.

It's dark comedy to the max: Boy meets girl. Boy digs girl. Boy must learn not to eat girl.

Okay, so it's not completely the rom-com you've come to know and love but that's what gives this potential and I, for one, am stoked there's going to be a decent Valentine's Day movie out I'd actually consider seeing.

Nicholas Hoult and Teresa Palmer star in the film and, more recently, these awesome posters that we couldn't wait to share with you graciously debuted online from the people over at Summit Films.

They might be turbo-puns, but they had me laughing and I hope you like them, too.

Ever wonder why celebrities have so many bodyguards? This is why: Three New Mexico men have been accused of plotting to murder Justin Bieber.

It wasn't a joke, either. Imprisoned double murderer Dana Martin is accused of enlisting Mark Staake and Tanner Ruane to kill Bieber and three others using Martin's murder "calling card"— paisley-patterned ties.

According to New Mexico television station KRQE, Staake and Ruane were planning to kill two of Martin's former acquaintances in Vermont before heading to New York City. There they planned to kill — and castrate — Bieber and his bodyguard.

Why Justin? Martin is reportedly obsessed with the 18-year-old singer and even has a tattoo of the Biebs's face on his leg. Creepy.

The pair made it to Vermont before Staake was busted on outstanding warrants. Ruane was let go and later called Martin to express his sadness over the thwarted plan. Martin evidently had a change of heart and told cops of his plan, leading to Ruane's arrest. The really scary part? Ruane was busted with murder tools and pruning sheers.

Bieber hasn't commented on the news. The "Girlfriend" singer is currently in Atlanta and scheduled to perform at the city's Jingle Ball. Oh, and he's hanging out with his mom, too.

The holiday presents came early for Dancing With the Stars host Brooke Burke-Charvet: Doctors just told her that she's cancer-free! The mom of four underwent surgery last week to get rid of the nodules around her thyroid gland — and it worked!

"While the presence of papillary cancer was confirmed in a small nodule, it was encapsulated and all the surrounding tissue was clear," she said in an interview with her parenting website, ModernMom.

She'll have to go back for a check-up in six months, so there is still some waiting involved. Still, it's great news for the mother of four.

"It was the best case scenario," she said. "We're so happy and relieved."

Burke-Charvet came forward with the diagnosis via a YouTube video in early November. She kept her positive attitude throughout the ordeal though.

"I'm going to make a positive out of this negative thing," she said at the time. "I am going to be a really good patient and I am going to do everything I need to do… Doctors say this is a 'good' kind of cancer to have ... My doctor did tell me this is a happily ever after ending kind of thing."

So, what's next for the 44-year-old star? Some well-deserved rest and relaxation.

Okay, okay, maybe theG.I. Joe films don't have the most compelling plot in the world but they're trying. And at least they're stepping the game up a bit with the addition of Bruce Willis to the cast.

Willis joins forces with the G.I. Joes including Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and Channing Tatum. So you've got that going for you, too. If your little guy is begging to go see the next chapter when it heats up this March let him enjoy the explosions and all the good guy-bad guy stuff while you just bask in more time with Tatum.

All joking aside, G.I. Joe: Retaliation stars much of the staple cast from the first go, but the enemy seems to have gotten the upper hand. Zartan has infiltrated the elites in control of the world's armed forces and crept his influence so far as into the authority of the US President. It's a bad and dangerous time to be a Joe.

The Joes are on their own and to say there's a lot at stake is the understatement of the century. The surviving crew must band together, relying on the military training and expertise to fight back before all is lost.

This newest trailer promises lots of combat and action that's probably in better taste than most video games targeted towards your little guy. Yeah, guns and explosions may not have the most substance in the world but perhaps they'll entertain your dude long enough to express lessons of courage, loyalty, duty and teamwork.

G.I. Joe: Retaliation shoots into theaters March 29 and is not yet rated, although our best guess predicts it'll be in the PG-13 range.

The 70thannual Golden Globe Awards nominations will be announced Thursday morning, Dec. 13, and a few big names will be on hand to make those announcements.

"Jessica Alba, Megan Fox and Ed Helms will join the Hollywood Foreign Press Association President Dr. Aida Takla-O'Reilly to announce the nominations for the 70th Annual Golden Globe® Awards on Thursday morning, December 13, 2012 at approx. 5:00 a.m. /8:00 a.m. from the Beverly Hilton," said a press release from the Golden Globes. "Nominations will be announced in 25 categories."

Those categories include awards for actors, actresses, movies and comedy and drama TV shows. Music within the TV shows and movies are also included, as well as director and writer nominations. With the Golden Globes taking place before the Oscars, they are seen as a good sign of who might be nominated for the Academy Awards. This year they will take place more than a month earlier than in previous years.

"The Golden Globe Awards will be seen in more than 192 countries worldwide and is one of the few awards ceremonies that span both television and motion picture achievements," said a rep for the awards. "The special will be produced by Dick Clark Productions in association with the Hollywood Foreign Press Association."

The show will have a different look this year as they’ve replaced their host of the last few years, Ricky Gervais, with two new hosts, Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

According to the Golden Globes, they have been around since World War II. They were started as a way to bridge the gap between Hollywood and other countries. While the awards are seen as a precursor to the Oscars, they also include television in their categories which gives them an edge in awards season.

The nomination ceremony happens to be exactly one month in advance of the awards, which will be taking place Jan. 13.

While very few people remember, or even watched, Bristol Palin’s show last summer, it cost the taxpayers of Alaska a pretty penny.

"The California company that made Bristol Palin's TV show about raising her child has collected a $354,348 subsidy from the state," according to the Fairbanks Daily News-Miner.

The state offers tax incentive programs for filmmakers who film in their state. However, even though the film company is from California, at least some of that money likely stayed in the state of Alaska.

"Unlike nearly all of the other shows and films subsidized so far under the movie incentive program, the salaries paid to Alaska residents on the Palin show account for a majority of the total 'Alaska expenses' for the TV show," said the newspaper.

But that doesn’t mean it was a lot. According to the form obtained by the News-Miner, the production company only hired laborers from in-state and brought in all crew from out of state.

But Palin and five others listed as "talent" on the show made up to half a million dollars in wages over the 14 episodes of the show. And even though the total Alaska wages ended up being $508,000 , it seems the company squeezed all they could out of that tax subsidy.

"The production qualified for a seasonal subsidy of $4,964 because $248,206 was spent between Oct. 1 and March 30 in Alaska," said the News-Miner. "The subsidy also included a 'rural tax credit' of 79 cents, according to the form, because $39 was spent in a 'rural community.'"

The show, Bristol Palin: Life’s a Tripp, ran last summer for 14 episodes on Lifetime, but ratings were much lower than expected. Palin just finished her time on the all-star season of Dancing with the Stars.

It looks like Ariel Winter can breathe a sigh of relief for now as details of her custody arrangement were settled before a trial was set to begin on Wednesday.

The outcome of the agreement allows the 14-year-old to stay in the care of her older sister, Shanelle Gray. Both sisters were in the courtroom today and, according to Yahoo, they held hands throughout the entire ordeal.

Another significant outcome of today's proceedings involved the young star's finances. The judge in the case decided to give temporary control to Winter's dad, Glenn Workman. Gray never asked for any interest in her sister's finances, she only asked for the temporary custody that she was granted.

The biggest loser in this case is Winter's mother, Chrisoula Workman. She not only lost custody of her daughter after child protective services found evidence of emotional abuse, but she lost control of Winter's acting career.

The settlement makes it clear that, "Chrisoula Workman shall have no contact with nor in any way interfere with Ariel Winter Workman's professional relationships and business contacts."

Superior Court Judge Michael Levanas is also making all involved parties go to family counseling to work out some of the issues. It is interesting to note that the agreement expects huge changes in the family dynamic to happen before the Modern Family actress is returned to her parents.

The agreement states, "The parties acknowledge that there is no assurance that Ariel will return to the home of either or both parents."

Winter's parents are currently separated and not living together.

Chrisoula Workman was visibly upset by the proceedings and left the courtroom in tears accompanied by her estranged husband.

The good news is that the judge seems pleased with the progress in the case. He said, "I do believe things are going to get better."

Sean Penn has been divorced from his second wife Robin Wright for over two years now, and he is just now starting to talk about it. He appears in the January 2013 issue of Esquire and shares his not-so-sunny thoughts on marriage.

"There is no shame in my saying that we all want to be loved by someone," he said. "As I look back over my life in romance, I don't feel I've ever had that. I have been the only one that was unaware of the fraud in a few of these circumstances blindly."

The couple was married from 1996 to 2010 and had two children. But for Penn, he feels he didn’t understand how she felt until they were divorced.

"When you get divorced, all the truths that come out, you sit there and you go, What the f*** was I doing? What was I doing believing that this person was invested in this way?" he told Esquire. "Which is a fantastically strong humiliation in the best sense. It can make somebody very bitter and very hard and closed off, but I find it does the opposite to me."

However, Penn never actually mentions Wright’s name, and he has been married twice. It could be just as likely he’s talking as much about his first wife Madonna as he is about Wright.

After the divorce in 2010, Wright and Penn’s son Hopper was involved in a skateboarding accident, which he later recovered from. The recovery made Penn think about things he hadn’t in a while.

"I thought, 'Wow, I can actually go on a date,'" he said. "And so I go out and I strike out four nights in a row, drinking at a bar and ending up home, you know, drunk. And on the fourth day I said, 'I could just go sit in the middle of the bed and watch TV at four in the afternoon, too. I don't have anything.'"

But the newfound free time on his hands led to his next project.

"So I turned on the TV and there was this earthquake in Haiti," he said.

Penn worked on the cause actively for the next few years. The actor next stars in Gangster Squad, set to come out in 2013.

Earlier in the fall, we shared the Gossip Girl cast's predictions for just who might be behind all those rumor-spreading, gossip-hounding text blasts. As the unveiling draws closer, we thought we'd share our best guesses with you.

The Humphreys...

Dan Humphrey seems like an obvious choice to us, especially in light of his recent quest to destroy nearly everyone he's met on his way to the top. Sure, Gossip Girl has spread her fair share of gossip about Lonely Boy, too. But nothing all that damaging. Just because he acted surprised when the text blast hit everyone's phones, doesn't mean he didn't see it a few minutes or hours earlier when he scheduled for the news to spread. He's done a lot of secret telling in his novel, but maybe that's just the end to something he started in high school as a way to separate the pack and weasel his way in.

Jenny Humphrey isn't out of the question, either. During her time on the show, Little J was far from innocent when it came to spreading rumors or conniving her way to taking over as Queen B J. Furthermore, Jenny Humphrey is the ultimate attention seeker. Just because rumors were spread about her and landed her in trouble on multiple occassions, doesn't mean she didn't enjoy every second of it. Finally, if you're in doubt due to her recent absence, think about this: You didn't have to be in New York to know about Anne Hathaway's wardrobe malfunction that exposed her Lower Central Side.

The insiders...

Dorota never even crossed our minds until one of the cast members joked about it back in the fall. It actually makes complete sense, though. Who would know more about the dirt in Miss Blair's life than Dorota? She's also regularly put in charge of Blair's phone, so she has access to all of B's texts and pictures. Finally, she's always nearby when things heat up in B's bedroom or Serena dishes at the vanity. Plus, she's even referred to Dan as "Lonely Boy". Maybe it's silly, but that seems like a good sign if ever there was one. Sure she seems loving... but she's put up with a lot from the Waldorfs. She was bound to go crazy eventually! Who wouldn't?

Nate is our final choice. Don't scoff! What better way to get rid of a clingy high school girlfriend than sleeping with her BFF and then having someone else spill the deets so you can act like it's a surprise? Plus, nearly every one of Nate's UES friends has royally f'd him over on one occassion or another. Spreading their secrets around via Gossip Girl seems like the perfect payback to us! We think it's also fair to point out that he hasn't been around a whole lot. At least through the middle seasons, Nate had almost no storyline at all. Why keep him around unless you needed him for something... like the big reveal?

There you have it, GG-fiends! Of course, there are a few other guesses that aren't out of the question and deserve some consideration, too. But, these people are our favorite options.

Paul McCartney is filling in for Kurt CobainWednesday night for the 12-12-12 concert to benefit those affected by Hurricane Sandy. But there is at least one person out there not happy with the choice.

"When Nirvana reunites tonight in NYC — with Sir Paul McCartney replacing Kurt Cobain on vocals — Courtney Love won't be cheering... she'll be yelling obscenities, because she's pissed about the gig," she told TMZ.

"Nirvana", in its new incarnation, announced they would be playing for the benefit, and the widow of lead singer Kurt Cobain said she is "not amused" that McCartney will be joining them.

But she is not upset that someone is filling in for her late husband, it’s apparently about who it is.

"Look, if John were alive it would be cool," she told TMZ, supposedly talking about the late Beatles frontman John Lennon.

It seems that Love is mostly upset that Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, the remaining original members of the band, would call themselves Nirvana, "because she says Kurt was the heart and soul of the legendary band," said TMZ.

It looks like the new band may actually be more like a new band than Love knows. They will be playing a song that McCartney, Grohl and Novoselic wrote together, but no-one seems to be sure if they will be playing any original Nirvana songs.

"It is a new song that's kind of Helter Skelter meets Scentless Apprentice," Nirvana member Krist Novoselic tweeted Wednesday. "It rocks with a heavy groove. St. Paul is powerful. @Pontifex."

The 12-12-12 concert takes place at Madison Square Garden and other performers include Kanye West, Bruce Springsteen, Bon Jovi, Roger Waters and Alicia Keys.
