The story grew quickly after the National Enquirer reported that the Broadway actor had "walked out on his longtime lover David Burtka." The tabloid said that the "two have been living apart" and were spotted "flirting with younger guys."
The source claimed, "It's not a trial separation, it's definitely been a time-out for them, and fueled mainly by suspicions that each one has cheated on the other. David suspects that Neil's late-night outings are less than innocent, while word has gotten back to Neil of his lover's raunchy revelry in gay bars."
Supposedly, the strife between the couple began with Harris' "refusal to set a [wedding] date."
All of that news couldn't be further from the truth. Gossip Cop spoke to the former How I Met Your Mother star's rep, who said, "There is absolutely no truth to the story. Neil, David and the twins are all living happily together in their new home."
To drive the point home even further, Harris posted a photo to his followers that showed Burtka sweetly hugging daughter Harper while son Gideon grins in the foreground.

"I used to get really nervous at awards shows because, seemingly, they're a huge pressure cooker. And everybody seems to be sitting there trying to look more unaffected by being at this awards show than the next person next to them," Swift explained to Seth Meyers, according to the Daily Mirror. "That can have an effect on you, and so you're in the front row and you're sitting there like, 'Maybe I should sit here like this.'"
So Swift made a decision to just enjoy herself and have fun, like she would at any other show.

Gavin McInnes, the CCO of creative New York ad agency Rooster, has been asked to take a leave of absence after penning a vicious article for Thought Catalog entitled "Transphobia is perfectly natural."
Now, the title may be worrisome, but there could be some sort of click-baity, gotcha article beyond that, right?
No. It's bad. It's really, really, really bad. A few of the tamer excerpts:
"Haven't you seen all the totally functional, happily married, normal trannies walking around? They aren't all dead, you know... They're non-heteronormative. In fact, the only thing more normal than castrating yourself and taking tons of hormones to grow tits is chopping them off."
"I kid. I kid. Of course it's fucking unusual. We're all transphobic... They are mentally ill gays who need help, and that help doesn't include being maimed by physicians. These aren't women trapped in a man's body. They are nuts trapped in a crazy person's body."
OK, enough. You get the idea. The piece has been flagged as hateful on Thought Catalog's site, and why link to it? If you want to read the whole thing, you won't have a hard time finding it.
This piece of written excrement was posted this week, and it wasn't long before it was receiving the kind of negative backlash it undoubtedly was crafted to incite. After all, McInnes has a history of writing articles for Thought Catalog so aggressively foul many people consider them satire. Take for instance, the classic "Hey, Ladies! Short hair is rape!" Is he kidding or isn't he? It's all part of the intellectual journey!
However, his transphobia piece had a lot of people questioning whether such an auteur should be heading up an ad company that does business with big names like Vans and Office Depot. Internet communities called for a boycott of Rooster's clients. On Friday, Rooster responded, saying through a representative that the company was "extremely disappointed" and that McInnes was asked to take a leave of absence while they contemplate what to do.
In the meantime, we will contemplate this: Is Gavin McInnes the world's worst satirist, or the world's best troll?
Except Ritter's beau is no longer a mystery man. According to Us Weekly, she's dating War on Drugs singer Adam Granduciel.
Ritter and Granduciel were spotted together during an outing on Thursday in New York City. The pair looked very loved-up, and a source revealed to the mag just how it all started.
"It started with her being a fan of the band and then somehow she got in touch with him and went to some shows," the source shared. "They're having fun and spending some quality days in New York."
The duo were also seen working out together. They were spotted in Los Angeles on Wednesday attending a fitness session.
Ritter and Granduciel also took to Instagram to share a selfie, which the beauty captioned,"Showing teeth and rocking shades with my face," plus a heart emoji.

It just didn't think the name could be real, and before it would allow her to use her actual name, Facebook wanted to see her ID as proof.
"My entire family is on Facebook," Mrs. Kiss Flecker told Business Insider, "our name has never been a problem. It's just kind of funny."
Since her story was originally published a few days ago, Facebook has allowed her to change her name, and her profile proudly displays her lovely wedding pictures under the name Melissa Kiss Flecker.

Inspired by the Equalizer TV show from the 1980s, this new film of the same name has Denzel Washington playing Robert McCall. British actor Edward Woodward, who passed away in 2009, originated the role.
Though Russell Crowe was originally attached to play McCall, we're excited to see Washington in the lead role. It's rumored that he'll return as McCall for the sequel, which Sony currently has in the works.
According to TheWrap.com, test screenings of The Equalizer are scoring "through the roof" and received "the highest scores of an R-rated film in the studio's history." This could turn out to be the next big action franchise, assuming it does well at the box office in September.
The story focuses on a teen girl named Teri (Chloë Grace Moretz), who is tormented by brutal Russian gangsters. Though McCall has faked his own death to live peacefully, away from guns and violence, he decides to come out of retirement help Teri find a new life.
The role of Teri was originally written for an older actress, but director Antoine Fuqua (Training Day) insisted they cast Moretz and make the character younger. It's been a busy year for Moretz, who also stars in the film If I Stay, set to release next week.
Also in the film is actress Melissa Leo (Treme), who has an interesting connection to The Equalizer. Back in 1985, Leo guest-starred on the TV show as a Russian in an episode called "The Defector."
In this trailer, we get to hear a bit of Sia and Eminem's new song, "Guts Over Fear," which makes the perfect anthem for a character like McCall.
The Equalizer opens in theaters Sept. 26.

When NBC canceled Community at the end of Season 5, it looked to be the end for the cult sitcom, but Yahoo swooped in to the rescue. Whether or not it was officially canceled, Community is the show that can't be kept down, and now it's found new life as a streaming web series.
Now all that's left is to hope for the movie. Sony, are you listening? Give the people what they want!
The new trailer promises a lot of fun, opening with a brief recap of the first five seasons before intoning the familiar intro to The Six Million Dollar Man. Yahoo's promise to Community? "We can rebuild you. We can make you stronger." And we're dying to see if Yahoo keeps its word.
We're optimistic about the new season, particularly knowing that creator Dan Harmon is still at the helm. While Community's fourth season was an overall disappointment, containing all the pop-culture references but missing that acerbic spark of the first three seasons, we saw things turn around in Season 5. The edge was back, with a few stellar episodes reminiscent of the show's glory days, including Donald Glover's farewell episode as the school engaged in a massive game of Hot Lava and an homage to gritty serial killer movies with the rampage of the Greendale Cracker.
We'll have to wait a little longer to get a glimpse of the new Community's first few episodes, but in the meantime, this trailer's got us excited to head back to Greendale for another year of hilarious underachieving.

Adams was known for his legendary skating abilities and was one of the original members of the Zephyr Skate Team (aka Z-Boys), who shaped modern skateboarding styles. He was portrayed by Emile Hirsch in the 2005 film Lords of Dogtown.
Adams had been spending time out of the country for a few months on a surfing trip with his wife, Tracy, according to TMZ. Adams also leaves behind a daughter, Venice, and a son, Seven.
The trip marked the first time Adams had been allowed to leave the country for some time due to some legal troubles he was having.

Adams was born in Venice, California, and had a hard life, which he blamed on finding fame at a younger age. He was in and out of prison during the majority of the '70s and '80s, mostly for drug-related charges. Though he had reportedly been clean for years, Adams was still dealing with legal woes.
He told Westside People magazine in 2013, "The '70s and '80s were a different time. With punk rock, there was a lot of violence and being young, drinking alcohol and making bad choices. Now I want to encourage people not to go down the same road I went down."
Despite his history of drug abuse, Adams had no prior history of heart problems, according to his manager.
During an interview with Songfacts.com on July 31, Simmons made remarks regarding his original bandmates, saying that he no longer kept in touch with them because he doesn't "get along with anyone who's a drug addict and has a dark cloud over their head and sees themselves as a victim." Simmons went on to say "and for a putz 20-year-old kid to say, 'I'm depressed, I live in Seattle.' F*** you, then kill yourself."
Simmons' comments caused public outcry, prompting the musician to clarify his words and offer an apology. "To the extent my comments reported by the media speak of depression, I was wrong and in the spur of the moment made remarks that in hindsight were made without regard for those who truly suffer the struggles of depression," Simmons said in a Facebook status. "I sincerely apologize to those who were offended by my comments. I recognize that depression is very serious and very sad when it happens to anyone, especially loved ones. I deeply support and am empathetic to anyone suffering from any disease, especially depression."
While Simmons' social media post seems sincere, it comes more than two weeks after the comments were made and after both the death of a beloved entertainer who suffered from depression and the call for a Kiss boycott by Mötley Crüe bass guitarist Nikki Sixx. "I like Gene, but in this situation I don't like Gene," Sixx said in a recent episode of his radio show, via the Huffington Post. "I don't like Gene's words. There is a 20-year-old kid out there who is a Kiss fan and reads this and goes, 'You know what? He's right. I should just kill myself."

Simmons has been dealing with controversy for decades, but it's been an especially big month for him. Earlier this week, he made headlines for giving harsh advice to people immigrating to America, saying they should "learn to speak goddamn English."

In a leaked music video called "Nothing Like Me," which was uploaded on Monday, Azalea attempts her very best Britney Spears impression with a crew of backup dancers, a belly midriff and a tune that sounds similar to Spears' hit "Womanizer." No word on when the rapper filmed the video, but the caption suggested the project came before Azalea signed to T.I.'s Grand Hustle in 2012. According to Billboard, the hip-hop heavyweight did have a major label deal with Interscope before joining T.I.'s roster. However, "Womanizer" was recorded and filmed back in 2009 as part of Spears' comeback campaign for her LP Circus.
Even though Azalea offers a second-rate Spears look in the 1:37 clip, there are no parallels in the visuals. Azalea's clip looks like it was filmed in a hotel bathroom and staircase with a $50 budget. Spears' "Womanizer" was directed by the one and only Joseph Kahn and rumored to cost more than $1 million. Iggy has yet to speak out on the leaked video, and it's likely that she won't. With Nicki Minaj's recent dis at the 2014 BET Awards, some are already questioning her hip-hop authenticity.

Kasem died in June at age 82 amid major tension between his wife, Jean Kasem, and his kids from a previous marriage, who accused their stepmom of abusing him. They've been in a dispute over Kasem's remains since he died, especially after Jean moved his body to Ontario, Canada, a move the kids say was intended to keep Kasem's body out of their hands.
Police in Santa Monica, where Kasem was hospitalized, are investigating the abuse allegations. Kasem's daughter, Kerri, is pushing for a full autopsy.
Kerri's spokesman, Danny Deraney, told Billboard that Jean Kasem seems to be trying to hold up the investigation.
"We just know that she wants to keep Casey away from family and friends and by the looks of it, [is] hiding from law enforcement," he said.
Kasem, known for voicing Shaggy on the cartoon Scooby Doo and hosting the American Top 40 radio show, suffered from dementia before he died. His wife moved him from the hospital in Santa Monica to Las Vegas and then to Washington state, where a private investigator hired by Kasem's children tracked them down.
Kasem's body was moved out of the country after he died despite a court order saying it couldn't leave a funeral home in Tacoma.
Kasem's children are now wondering why on earth their stepmom has the body bound for Oslo. They say Kasem had no ties to Norway.
"I don't know if Jean has any ties to Oslo," Kasem's son Mike told Billboard. "She certainly has never mentioned it in the last 35 years. Everyone keeps asking for motives as to why Jean acts how she acts. I don't have an answer."
MMA fighter War Machine, whose real name is Jonathan Koppenhaver, has been apprehended by police. The cage fighter has been on the lam since late last week, when he was accused of viciously attacking his ex-girlfriend, porn star Christy Mack, and a male friend of hers, after showing up unannounced at Mack's Las Vegas home.
TMZ reports that Koppenhaver was picked up at a hotel outside Los Angeles by U.S. Marshals and Simi Valley Police. The fugitive was reportedly hanging out in a room at the hotel, and sources say he didn't put up a fight when police arrived.
Reality TV star Dog the Bounty Hunter had also been on the lookout for Koppenhaver, and his wife, Beth Chapman, sent out a tweet confirming the capture.

A release from Simi Valley Police says the arrest happened early in the afternoon at the Extended Stay America Hotel in Simi Valley, where Koppenhaver used to live. All Koppenhaver had in the room was "a small quantity of cash and some pizza," the release reads.
Now that he's been captured, Koppenhaver will be transported to Las Vegas to face seven charges, including battery, domestic violence and assault with a deadly weapon.
Mack is still recovering from the attack, which left her with severe injuries, including 18 broken bones in her face, a fractured rib, lesions from a knife and a punctured liver. She posted graphic photos of her injuries to social media Tuesday, along with a harrowing description of the attack, during which she said she thought she was going to die. Koppenhaver claimed in a series of tweets that he was fighting in self-defense.

Starz has renewed freshman drama Outlander for Season 2 only a week into the series' run.
Following along the model set by HBO's Game of Thrones, the second season will follow the plot of the next book in Diana Gabaldon's rich historical series, Dragonfly in Amber. With eight books in the series, not to mention a handful of short stories and novellas, Jamie and Claire's story could have a very long run ahead of it.
The first season of Outlander will run for 16 episodes. Thus far, Starz has only confirmed that Season 2 will feature at least 13, with the potential to add more. No great cause for concern, though — the larger episode order was an unusual move to begin with for a first-season cable show.
The premiere episode drew an estimated 5 million viewers and counting, a big win for Starz in terms of both male and female viewership. We'll find out after the second episode airs this Saturday whether Outlander can sustain its momentum, but all signs point to yes. The show has an incredibly strong fanbase, and the books — the romantic historical fiction version of George R.R. Martin's A Song of Ice and Fire series — have been bestsellers since 1991, when the first book in the series was published. We're already huge fans, and we can't wait to see where the rest of the first season will go. It's comforting to know that there's already a second season of Outlander waiting in the wings.
Though we do have a bone to pick with the way Starz continues to emphasize that the show also has a huge male audience. The brilliance of Diana Gabaldon's fictional world should be in no way diminished because it achieved popularity by becoming a series that women were the first to find. It's all right to embrace the female fanbase!

The Daily Mail reports that the new jewelry is meant to cover up an old scar from Perry's first nose piercing — one she did herself when she was a kid, she recently told The Tonight Show with Jay Leno.
"I asked my mother permission so I could get my nose pierced," Perry remembered. "And of course she didn't give it to me. She said it was ridiculous and she wasn't gonna do that. So she then went on an errand, so I took a safety pin and a piece of ice and I pierced my own nose."
"She saw it [later], she's like, 'Oh, it's not as bad as I thought.' Because it was just a little diamond," Perry continued. "But I still have this horrible scar that everybody brings up when they get really close."

Prepare to go about 2,000 years back in time — way before Europeans like the British navigator Captain James Cook set sail in the South Pacific, looking for new land.
In the upcoming computer-animated film Moana, we'll meet a fiercely brave princess who's able to navigate the ocean by herself. Disney describes the movie as a "mythic adventure set across a series of islands set across the South Pacific."
Moana is the only daughter of a chief in a long line of navigators and will set off on a marine adventure, calling on the help of demigods and spirits from traditional Polynesian culture.
Though we don't know which mystical deities Moana will summon, some possibilities are Pele, the goddess of volcanoes, her older sister Namaka, the water spirit, and the fire god Lono-makua.
For supporting characters, there's a whole ocean of possibilities. Moana may befriend an orca or another type of dolphin. We'd like to see a singing octopus or even a dancing sea horse. We're betting that at some point, Moana will have a shark encounter, creating high-stakes drama for the young princess. It's possible that Disney could go against stereotype and create a shark character that's not vicious, but rather some type of ally for the princess.
Weather could also play a role in Moana's tale. She could possibly face a tsunami or typhoon; however, it's unlikely she'll face a sharknado.
As for actresses to voice Moana, no one's been cast yet, but we'd like to see Q'orianka Kilcher (The New World), Selena Gomez, or even the hilarious Mindy Kaling.
One thing we can be sure of: Disney will no doubt use Moana to promote its Hawaiian resort Aulani, located in Ko Olina, Hawaii.
