Spooning pizza

Pizza and I go hand in hand. It's a total weakness of mine, and I could eat it at any time of the day. I decided to take a different approach to this all time classic dish.

Spooning pizza

There is no bread in this Korean-style pizza, so grab a spoon and get ready to dive into this skillet of awesomeness. You can add ingredients or take some away to cater to your own pizza preferences.

Drake Bell slams other stars — and he has a great point

Drake Bell is at it again. The former Drake and Josh star is slamming celebs for not working for what they have and encouraging fans to be jerks — and he is naming names.

On his hit list are Ariana Grande, Justin Bieber and Lady Gaga. The actor-turned-rock star said the reason many celebs behave so badly is that they never had to work for what they have.

"I don't think a lot of these young people have to work very hard," Bell said in an interview with Buzzfeed. "They're found on YouTube and, boom, thrown into the studio so they think they can get anything they want. Ariana Grande is a billionaire before she's been an artist. You have to work to be able to appreciate what you have, and what work did she ever have to do in her life?"

He also took stars to task for encouraging their fans to behave badly, and he should know — he was the subject of a vicious Belieber Twitter attack in 2012.

"I can't stand that, with a lot of the pop stars, there's this idea of 'Are you in our clique? Are you a Directioner or are you a Belieber? Oh, you're not in our gang? Then you're not cool and you need to go in a hole and die,'" Bell said. "I don't understand it. And what's worse is artists like Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber don't come out and say, 'I love having you as my fans, but you shouldn't be acting this way.' They just eat it all up, and I think it's repulsive.

Drake Bell explains why he didn't crash and burn like Justin Bieber >>

"If I catch one of my fans saying something improper, a gay slur or any derogatory term, I instantly tweet directly at them and say, 'This isn't how we do it,'" he continued. "Lady Gaga, who says she's so anti-bullying, was on Stern and Howard read all of these awful, awful tweets her fans had been sending him, [and] asked how she responded to her fans doing the exact antithesis of what she stands for. She said, 'You have to understand, Howard, it comes from a place of love. They don't want to see me get hurt.' I couldn't believe she didn't take a second to address her fans and say how disgusted she was they'd do something like that. But none of them do that. Justin Bieber just tweets, 'Yeah, Beliebers, go hard,' when they're attacking somebody. Ariana Grande's fans told Perez Hilton that he and his son needed to die and get cancer, and she just fed it. It's disgusting.

"We didn't sign up to be role models, but we are," he explained. "Artists like Justin Bieber or Lady Gaga have more sway over popular minds than a politician. They could get on a pedestal and say, 'This is how you should treat people,' but instead [Bieber's] going around telling kids that as long as you have enough money and swag, you can do whatever you want. Instead of working to change the world, [he's saying,] 'Work to get as much money and power as possible because then you can do whatever you want and no one can say anything to you.' I just think that's a gross, awful, terrible message," he said.

Miley Cyrus nude on a horse: Proof she still doesn't get "sexy"

What to ride, what to ride?

Let us set the mood for you. Miley Cyrus wanted to vaporize her Hannah Montana image, and thought that her tongue and lots of nudity would do the trick. No one told her that there is a fine line between gross and sexy and that nudity isn't a terribly creative means for getting attention. In other words, all nude women have breasts, nipples and crotches. There really isn't anything new to offer when it comes to nudity. Sexy is more about the illusion of what someone does once they are naked — it's more about intent than it is about thrusting your lady parts in everyone's face.

For the sake of this history lesson on Cyrus' nudity, we begin with her quest for figuring out what to ride. We will rate each of these attempts to be sexy between 1 and 10, with 1 being not sexy and 10 being "please pass the eye bleach."

First Cyrus rode a wrecking ball in her video by the same name. Attempt to be sexy rating = 3

Miley Cyrus' naughtiest "Wrecking Ball" moves >>

Miley Cyrus

When the gasps subsided from that little stunt, Cyrus moved on to riding a huge hot dog during her Bangerz tour performances (which we're certain was meant to be some cheeky, immature phallic symbol). Now, she's riding a horse topless. Those of us who have actually ridden a horse know why this is not even remotely sexy. Attempt to be sexy rating = 8

Miley Cyrus

Here a nip, there a nip, everywhere a nip, nip

Maybe if you're a pubescent boy you might think Cyrus' nipples are sexy. The rest of us are just kind of bored by them. They are never portrayed in a particularly interesting or sexy way. They come across as a prop, or a means to an end, which makes all these nip shots just kind of weird and manipulative. We feel sorry for these pasties. Attempt to be sexy rating = 7

Miley Cyrus

PHOTOS: Miley Cyrus' top 5 WTF VMAs moments >>

Then Cyrus' nipples had to ruin Christmas. This image pretty much offends Jesus, Santa, small children, the elderly, Currier and Ives, Norman Rockwell... OK, everything living and not living. Attempt to be sexy = 10

Santa, please make Miley Cyrus put her tongue and nips away >>

Manners 101

What was one of the first things your mother taught you when you were little? "Don't stick your tongue out." Cyrus' parents clearly dropped the ball on this, but worse than that, somewhere along the line Cyrus started to believe that sticking your tongue out is sexy. It's not. Attempt to be sexy rating = 10

Miley Cyrus

Tongue meets doggie style

You're still with us? We haven't lost you yet? You're not grossed out beyond words? Well, it's time to buckle in because all the images leading up to this are child's play compared to the other spectacular examples that prove Cyrus wouldn't know sexy if it hired a wrecking ball and hit her in the head. Cyrus also has a proclivity for bending over and sticking her tongue out. How is this sexy, exactly? Has someone been watching too much really bad porn? Even so, why subject us to it? What did we do? Attempt to be sexy = 150

A super-sized order of gross is coming right up.

Fearing that her fiancé Jionni LaValle may be cheating on her, pregnant Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi has delayed her wedding.

A new report is claiming that Polizzi's fiancé and baby daddy may be cheating on her, so she has been delaying her wedding, RadarOnline claimed. The reality star's friends are saying that she is now unsure about her decision to marry LaValle because he has a tendency to stray. "Jionni would definitely cheat on Snooki," an insider said, adding there is no "doubt" about it.

Why Snooki doesn't want her son dating Jwoww's daughter >>

Pregnant with her second child, Polizzi has been through lots of drama with LaValle as chronicled in her reality shows Jersey Shore and Snooki & Jwoww. The two are already parents to 7-month-old Lorenzo, with whom they previously appeared to be a happy family.

However, Jionni is known for playing around on Polizzi, the insider added. "It's nothing new, and, unfortunately, it isn't going to change."

Eyewitnesses claim to have seen LaValle when he was on vacation in Florida and was partying with friends at the famous Elbo Room in Fort Lauderdale earlier this month. "He was hitting on women left and right."

How Snooki knew Jionni LaValle was "the one" >>

But, while Polizzi is supposedly questioning her future marriage to LaValle, she is continuing to plan the wedding anyway.

No official word has been released on whether the cheating reports are true, and GossipCop has actually stated that the rumors about Polizzi and LaValle's wedding being delayed are untrue. An insider to the site said the reports are "totally inaccurate."

Plus, Polizzi just tweeted today, "Can't wait to marry the love of my life this fall @JLaValle #onlyus."

LaValle not only responded to the tweet, but even suggested having more kids with his future wife.

Drake shows Jennifer Lawrence some love on new song

Drake may be cozying up to Rihanna, but there's another A-list star that the Young Money MC has his eyes on and her name is Jennifer Lawrence.

On Tuesday night, April 1, the MC took to his October's Very Own blog to post a brand-new song called "Draft Day." During the almost-five-minute tune, which features a distorted sample of Lauryn Hill's 1998 classic "Doo Wop (That Thing)," Drizzy raps about his detractors, success and makes sure to reference a few people, including American Hustler star Jennifer Lawrence.

A little more than two minutes into the track, the Toronto MC spits: "On some Hunger Games s***/I would die for my district/Jennifer Lawrence/You could really get it/I mean, for real girl, you know I had to do it for ya."

While Lawrence will likely love the shout-out from Drizzy, there are a few people that might not be so keen with "Draft Day," like Jay Z. Many have come to speculate that the rapper is actually throwing some shade toward his fellow hip-hop heavyweight. At one point in the song, he rhymes, "Just hits, no Mrs./That's for the married folk."

The reference dates back to Drake's February interview with Rolling Stone magazine, where he confessed that HOVA can't seem to rap these days without making any kind of references to the arts. Later on, Jay Z retaliated on Jay Electronica's "We Made It," rapping, "Sorry Mrs. Drizzy for so much art talk/Silly me, rappin' 'bout s*** that I really bought."

Can't we all just get along?

Easy homemade Cadbury eggs recipe

But that doesn't mean they're healthy, so try not to eat two in a sitting (like I did, whoops!). Although you will want to because they are just that good. Crunchy and creamy, these will make a great addition to any Easter basket.

Easy homemade Cadbury eggs recipe

Easy homemade Cadbury eggs recipe

Recipe adapted from Candiquik

Yields about 7

Ingredients:

For the shell

  • 1 package (16 ounces) Ghirardelli dark chocolate candy wafers
  • 1-2 tablespoons canola oil

For the filling

  • 1/4 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon white vanilla
  • 1 cup plus 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • Dash salt
  • Food coloring

Directions:

  1. Place the chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl and melt for about 90 seconds, stirring every 30 seconds, or until mostly melted. Stir in the canola oil until mixture is smooth and completely melted.
  2. Pour some chocolate into a silicone egg mold, filling each egg about 1/2 full. Place in the freezer and freeze until chocolate is set, about 1-1/2 hours.
  3. Meanwhile, make the filling by beating the corn syrup, butter and vanilla until thick and syrupy. Add in the powdered sugar, 1/2 cup at a time, or until thick and creamy. Split the mixture into 2 and dye 1 bowl yellow (to be the center).
  4. Cover both mixtures and freeze for about 1-1/2 hours. Once chilled, remove from the freezer. Roll the yellow mixture into small balls. Wrap a small amount of the white fondant over the yellow ball and roll into an egg shape.
  5. Remove the chocolate from the freezer and place the white & yellow egg on top. Coat the eggs in the remaining melted chocolate. Freeze for another hour.
  6. Once frozen, remove from molds and serve immediately. Keep chilled if not serving immediately.

Sand the bottom

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Sand bottom

Sand down the bottom of each wooden egg to create a flat surface to evenly rest on the table. Use a sanding block for more effective and secure sanding.

2

Drill your wire hole

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Drill your wire hole

Using a drill and a 1/16-inchdrill bit, drill approximately 1/3 to 1/2 of the way into the wood egg to create a secure hole for your wire place card holder. Repeat this step for the rest of your eggs.

3

Create the wire place card holder

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Create the wire place card holder

Using wire cutters, cut approximately 3-inch segments to be used as your place card holders. Once cut, use the needle-nose pliers to bend the end into a circle to hold the place card. Do this for as many wooden eggs as you have, creating one holder for each egg.

4

Paint the eggs

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Paint the eggs

Once the holes for the place cards have been drilled and the wire has been cut to size and tested, it is time to paint the eggs. Using craft paint, apply a thin coat to each egg and let it dry. You will most likely need to add a second coat of paint once the first coat is dry for an even finish.

5

Paint dip the eggs

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Paint dip the eggs

This is an optional step if you want to add something a little extra to your egg placeholders. Once your paint coat on the eggs dries, you can choose to dip them in a contrasting paint color to give them a paint-dipped look. Do this by placing paint into a larger open container (like a plastic cup, shown here).

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Paint dip the eggs

Slowly and carefully dip each egg, submerging only about 1/5 to 1/4 of the egg into the paint. Remove the egg slowly without bumping it on the inside of the cup, and set it on wax paper to dry.

6

Put it all together

DYI Easter egg place card holders: Put it all together

Once the eggs are completely dry, insert the wire place card holders again, gently place your cards into the wire holders, and you are finished!

Scientists, engineers and crazy people

"The antidote to digital Darwinism" is The Nordic Society for Invention and Discovery's (NSID's) tagline. Founded in 2013, the forces behind NSID believe that new disruptive ideas are killing old business quickly — and that this is a good thing. The NSID works with eight Nordic companies and is made up of scientists, engineers and self-proclaimed "crazy people" who are willing to think out of the box — way out of the box. Some of its products include Nebula 12 (a weather forecasting lamp), Cocoon 1 (a transparent piece of bubble furniture) and No More Woof — an in-progress device claiming to translate animal thoughts into human language.

The details

No More Woof is a prototype attempting to answer the question: What is your dog really thinking? At the moment, you can pre-order three versions of the product:

  • The NMW Micro: A one-sensor product able to distinguish two to three thought patterns, most likely tiredness, hunger and curiosity. (Indiegogo, $65)
  • The NMW Standard: A two-sensor version that's able to distinguish four or more thought patterns and can be calibrated to function better with different dogs, and it offers better functions and exactness than the NMW Micro. (Indiegogo, $300)
  • The NMW Superior: A premium mini-speaker implemented in a fully customizable golden dog tag. This version programs itself while it's in use, so it's always learning more of how your dog thinks and reacts. The NSID claims that over time, this option lets your dog speak in short sentences, such as "I’m hungry, but I don’t like this." (Indiegogo, $1,200)

How does it work?

What everyone wants to know, of course, is how does No More Woof work? The technology used in No More Woof is the result of combining the latest technologies in three different tech areas: EEG sensoring, microcomputing and special BCI software. During the last decade, huge discoveries have been made to map out the human brain's functions. But no one has ever made a serious attempt to apply this groundbreaking technology to man’s best friend. Until now, that is.

The NSID is basing the No More Woof concept on the fact that every mammal creates and transports "thoughts" the same way — as a swarm of electrical signals through a complex neurosystem. It has long been possible to record this activity through electroencephalogram (EEG) readings. But every species uses its unique structure. The creators of No More Woof say, "You could say that all creatures speak the same language, only with varying dialects. And as animal brains are less complex than human brains, their signal patterns are more distinct for feelings of anger, curiosity or tiredness. [And this simplicity] actually makes [their signals] easier to distinguish."

What people are saying

The NSID is the first to say — and repeat — that this technology is in its beginning stages. But is it legit? Cathy Alinovi, DVM, is the owner and veterinarian of Healthy PAWsibilities — formerly Hoofstock Veterinary Services — in rural Pine Village, Indiana. She treats 80 percent of what walks in the door with adequate nutrition, not expensive prescriptions. We asked Dr. Alinovi what she thinks about the viability of No More Woof. She says, "I think the technology is interesting, and it is an application of normal brain-wave technology. However, I don't know that it's so easy to translate brain waves into thoughts, feelings and meanings."

Dr. Alinovi appreciates the concept, saying, "Certainly everyone wants to know what their pets think of them or of their life. Many of us pretend we are talking for our dogs. But how do the researchers know that the answer the machine gives us is really the truth? The exact same testing in humans is easy to check. The machine can take a reading and then the researchers can ask the human, 'What were you thinking?' Obviously a human can communicate this verbally. How will a dog do that?"

She asks the same question many of us have: Is it as simple as matching the exact same brain-wave pattern to what a human pattern would be and assuming that is the thought? Dr. Alinovi says, "While humans and dogs have the same areas of the brain, I don't think we can assume that thoughts are formed in the same way. So much of our thinking and our brain processing is due to prior experience and memories. With time, pet owners will learn if this technology has any validity. Many pet owners think they can tell you what their dog or cat is thinking. And it would be totally exciting if something came along that would provide that information to the pet owner. In these early stages, this technology is probably more of a fun-to-have type thing than an accurate tool of communication."

Atomic vomit green

Atomic vomit green

The color may be made by Nickelodeon and meant for a kid's room rather than somewhere in your decor, but the name sounds less than appetizing. Not to mention, atomic vomit green truly does have a similar hue to vomit, hence making it something better left in the toilet rather than on your walls.

2

Emotional

Emotional

Sherwin-Williams must love naming their paint after human feelings, as they named this burnt orangish- red Emotional. And boy, does it make you just that. Looking appropriate only if you have a Southwestern decor scheme, it will make you far too emotional if it's put on your walls.

3

High strung

High strung

Sherwin-Willams' High Strung makes you just that. Looking like something that spilled out of the 1970s, it is guaranteed to give you a high level of anxiety.

4

Mac and cheese

Mac and cheese

Mac and cheese is a delicious comfort food, but painted on your walls? Not so much. An orangey-yellow that is true to its name, although not very appetizing, mac and cheese is best on the plate and in your tummy.

5

Intoxication

Intoxication

It is better to be drunk off of love than it is to be intoxicated over this awkward shade of green. If you paint this dizzying and odd hue on your walls, you may feel a bit buzzed from looking at it too long.

6

Freckles

Freckles

At first, Freckles sounds like an endearing and cutesy shade. And then you look at it again. Not looking anything like the color of a real human freckle, this salmon shade from Valspar is a bit too much if used even as an accent color.

7

Tippy toes

Tippy toes

The name Tippy Toes is inspired by little girls in ballet shoes, but let's be honest, it sounds more like wiggly pink baby toes than anything. A bit too pink and too human in name, this color is best left in the ballet studio.

8

Lady finger

Lady finger

Meant to be named after the dessert, the paint color Lady Finger is a bit too similar to the color of an actual finger to be desirable. Leave this tan from the home decor days of the past on the dessert table rather than the walls.

9

Fish market

Not only does Fish Market sound gross, it also looks a little fishy. Looking like the murky waters of a river, this color is not at all appealing.

Olympic seems inspired by ocean life with this one. An odd brown with an odd name, this is a color best left to the seals.

Although she has been on big and small screens for years, Natalie Dormer is about to become a household name. The Tudors and Game of Thrones actress appears in the newest episode of GQ, and wants to show who she really is.

15 Best moments from the 15-minute Game of Thrones trailer >>

"I love going out of my comfort zone — I live to go out of my comfort zone," she said, adding that she is OK with a less adventurous life too. "Obviously, you have quieter years than others — you don't go jumping out of a plane every day."

The 32-year-old appears in the magazine in a sexy topless pose, and fans will also be able to see her new haircut: a half buzz-cut style she is rocking for her role in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay. Dormer will play Cressida, the head of the Capitol camera crew turned rebel, in the last two films of the series. She explains that the haircut was definitely not her idea, but it does give her "a s***load of attitude.

"I was a little bit nervous, because as women for some weird reason we have a lot of our identity bound up in our hair," she told People. "But just to get rid of it was liberating."

Gasp-worthy Game of Thrones Season 4 spoilers from the books >>

You can see Dormer on Sunday, April 6, when Game of Thrones Season 4 premieres on HBO. The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 will be in theaters Nov. 21, 2014.

A camera was on set to catch Dormer's GQ photo shoot. Watch her talk about how to date Natalie Dormer, and her favorite characters on Game of Thrones (and which character she definitely doesn't want to date).

Seth Rogen and Zac Efron may seem like an unlikely pair, but they will soon be sharing the screen in Neighbors.

Seth Rogen & James Franco Vogue spoof: "It had to be done" >>

The film stars Rogen as a brand-new dad, who, along with his wife (played by Rose Byrne) and their newborn, move into a house next door to a frat house. Although the characters are at odds, the stars definitely aren't. In fact, it seems like Rogen wanted to get a little too close to Efron during filming.

"The first time I saw him without his shirt on, my first instinct was, there was something wrong with him, honestly, because he has so many bumps sticking out of his body. My body is like one big bump," the Knocked Up star told Conan O'Brien while joining his show, Conan, to talk about the new film.

Rogen, always the jokester, added that Efron would work out between takes, and even teased that the content of the film changed because he was caught off guard by Efron's impressive body.

"We had to keep writing into the scenes that I touched his body," he added. "I would look at it and want to just reach out and touch it."

Who's Hotter: Zac Efron vs. Miles Teller >>

In real life, Rogen is only five years older than Efron, but the film does what it can to show how different the two stars are. The promos say it all — featuring both actors without their shirts.

You can watch Efron and Rogen in all their shirtless glory when Neighbors hits theaters May 9.

Jenna Fischer announced her pregnancy only a few months ago, but she is apparently "very close" to giving birth. The actress showed up to Jennifer Love Hewitt's maternity line launch party, and she opened up about her second pregnancy. She admitted she is not quite ready for another baby.

The Office predictions: Where will they be 10 years from now? >>

"The nursery is not done and there's no name picked out and I'm close!" Fischer told E! News. "I've been nesting like crazy but I've been doing things that are sort of zany, like I became obsessed with cleaning my basement. You'd think I'm putting the baby down there. I'm not! But it's very clean and organized."

Fischer's new baby will be joining 2-year-old Weston, so the mom knows what to expect this time. She said, "I have all the baby supplies I just don't have nursery decor or name picked out yet."

Fischer also talked about struggling with her baby weight the first time around — something she had to do in front of the camera — but, this time, she isn't worried at all.

"I've been craving a lot of fruit and salads," she said. "More light things. I'm actually really grateful because I don't have the best impulse control as evidenced by how I just let myself go with every craving in my first pregnancy. This time around it's been easier to eat healthy because it's just what I feel like. I'm grateful for that."

The Office's Jenna Fischer defends keeping on the baby weight >>

The Office actress didn't reveal everything about her baby, but she did say she is "less anxious" this time than when she was pregnant with Weston. Her and husband, Lee Kirk, are keeping some things secret.

"We know the sex. We can at least eliminate some names," she said. "There's a lot of unisex names now though so we have to consider all those."

Even with a toddler and a baby on the way, Fischer is still staying busy. She will next be seen in Kiss Me with Emily Osment and John Corbett.

Grass allergies: Plants to avoid in your own yard

Got allergies? If so, you probably know allergy season kicks off with the arrival of grass pollen. Find out which grasses you should avoid in your own yard and learn how to minimize the symptoms associated with grass allergies.

Avoid this grass under your feet

Know the symptoms

Do you turn into a red-eyed, itchy-nosed sneezing, congested mess when the weather gets warmer? If so, you’re probably suffering from a reaction to the grass pollen in the air. Not sure if you have allergies? Check out the following list of symptoms:

  • Itchy nose
  • Sneezing
  • Congested sinuses
  • Headaches
  • Post nasal drip
  • Coughing and hoarse voice

Know the difference between
a cold and grass allergies

While a cold will go away anywhere from a few days to a few weeks, allergies will last as long as you're in contact with the offending pollen — from days to months. A cold will come on slowly, but allergies strike immediately upon exposure. With a cold, mucus can be yellow while allergy-related mucus is clear. (Go ahead and peek in that tissue to see what you’re dealing with.) Itchy, watery eyes that just won’t quit are another good indicator you’re dealing with allergies and not a common cold.

Know the season

Typically grasses begin growing in early Spring, releasing their pollen into the air in late Spring to early Summer — about the time you start to hear the lawn mowers being fired up every Saturday morning.

Know the grass types

Usually if someone is allergic to one type of grass pollen, they’re allergic to them all. The pollens have very similar allergy-inducing proteins.

The worst grasses for allergies are:

  • Timothy grass
  • Kentucky bluegrass

Know the three C’s

Keep pollens and irritants away with the three C’s: Closed home, Cool air and a Clean environment. As good as that Spring breeze feels wafting through your house, you should close the windows and keep pollen out. Turning on the air conditioner does more than just cool your home; it also cleans pollen from the air. Finally, keep it clean. Your clothes, your carpet, your bedding, your pets. Invest in a good HEPA air purifier and vacuum, and be ruthless when it comes to sucking up the irritants from their hiding spots.

Quick Tip

Not sure if you have grass allergies? See your primary care doctor or an allergist for an allergy test.

This breed's luxurious coat of hair (not fur) means no dander, which will keep sneezing and sniffling to a minimum. The Maltese is a small and fragile breed, especially in its puppy years, and therefore must be supervised around little kids. maltese breed characteristics

A dream day in the life of a Maltese

Looking adorable while sitting on your lap is all in a day's work for the Maltese. Compact and friendly as can be, this breed loves to go anywhere with you. More than just a beautiful face, this pooch has brains and loves to show them off. A day of learning new tricks and showing off would keep this pup's tail wagging. Resist the urge to coddle your Maltese — yes, it makes them happy, but in the long run it's best to teach them a little independence.

Nigella Lawson denied entry onto US-bound airplane

When attempting to board a flight headed for the U.S. from London, Nigella Lawson was reportedly denied entry onto the airplane because she has admitted under oath to using drugs in the past.

The famous chef was banned from boarding a British Airways flight to the U.S. when officials stopped the 54-year-old at Heathrow airport due to her admitted past cocaine and marijuana use. Lawson famously revealed her drug problems during the fraud trial of former assistants Francesca and Elisabetta Grillo.

Nigella Lawson's husband announces their divorce >>

London police said that Lawson's cocaine use would not be investigated by Scotland Yard after the assistant sisters were found not guilty. However, they said they would revisit the decision to not pursue the drug-use claims if new evidence was uncovered. Meanwhile, the Food Network star has never been prosecuted nor convicted for her alleged drug use.

The U.S. Department of Homeland Security-Customs and Border Protection could not directly address Lawson's case because of the Privacy Act. But, they did explain in a statement how the law may affect cases such as hers.

Nigella Lawson testifies that ex threatened to destroy her >>

"Applicants for admission bear the burden of proof to establish that they are clearly eligible to enter the United States," the statement read. "In order to demonstrate that they are admissible, the applicant must overcome all grounds of inadmissibility."

According to U.S. law, foreign citizens can be denied entry over drug offenses whether they have been charged or not. But, a U.S. Embassy spokesperson told People magazine that while they can't get into specifics they "don't see this as barring travel to the U.S."

Nigella Lawson's husband Charles Saatchi denies choking her >>

The rep added that Lawson is allowed to apply for a visa if she so chooses, and they don't foresee the matter as a lasting issue.

"We understand that she has professional requirements for travel into the U.S.," the rep continued. "We handle these matters routinely and expeditiously. I don't think that this is something that drags on and on."

What your patio chair style says about you

So many chairs, so little patio space, right? We can help you narrow down your choices by giving you an inside look at what your selection will say about you when all your friends and family show up.

Sophisticated Lady

Wicher chair | Sheknows.com

You drink wine, don't you? You must if you're sophisticated enough to own a set of these gorgeous and comfy-looking wicker chairs. We bet you eat at the dining room table, too, and constantly have dinner parties. Yes, we're impressed.

Retro Chick

Retro chair | Sheknows.com

We still remember sitting in something similar when we'd visit our Mamaw's house. These vintage sitters are always brightly colored, just like you, pretty lady. What do you say we get out of here and go get matching pinup girl tattoos?

Big budget east-coaster

Adirondack chair | Sheknows.com

Fans of these wooden monstrosities usually come in two varieties: 1) The proud east-coaster or 2) The ready-to-retire. Unless you have one of those beach store specials with the pineapples carved from the top, Adirondacks seem to signify that you're an adult and you've been one for a while.

Hippie, hippie chic

Hippe egg chair | Sheknows.com

Ahhh, yes. We can practically smell the patchouli incense wafting out the front window. What's that you're reading while swinging in your egg? Siddhartha, you say? Makes sense. We'll leave you alone to fall asleep to the sound of your rain chain.

Big dreamer

Dining chair | Sheknows.com

You might be a newlywed or a single lady who just moved into her first big-girl apartment. You want something that screams, "I'm a responsible adult!" But you couldn't afford your first choice yet. These will do for now.

Frat boy fabulous

Camp chair | Sheknows.com

You're the exact opposite of the big dreamer. You might still be in college or you've just moved into your first crummy (and possibly unsafe) apartment. Camp chairs aren't patio furniture, but they're close enough. Plus, let's face it: You spend most of your time standing up at the beer pong table.

Member of the redneck yacht club

Just kidding! A step up from the camp chair, these plastic chairs are cheap and get the job done. Plus, they come in a million colors. Some people have a set of these on standby for when they run out of "real" patio chairs. For you, this is as real as it gets.

Whatever chair you have, there's no need to feel locked in. Our research shows that in most cases, the style of patio chair you own progresses and changes as you grow up. Camp chair today? Give it 40 years and you'll find yourself in an Adirondack. Just take time to enjoy all the chairs in between.

10 Allergy myths busted

Sneezes, Coughs, and Rashes

We've all heard plenty of old wives' tales about our allergies. What's true and what isn't? We've busted these myths just for you.

Tired of everyone sticking their noses into your allergy issues? The only way to stop it is to debunk the advice and theories they throw at you.

1

Myth: People with egg allergies shouldn't get flu shots

Dr. David Stukus, a pediatric allergist in Columbus, Ohio, cited research that had been done during the swine flu scare to disprove this myth for LiveScience.com. "Since then, there's been at least 25 well-conducted clinical trials that have shown the vaccines do not contain a significant amount of egg protein, and that they are very safe to give to people with egg allergy."

2

Myth: Pet fur triggers
allergies

The Mayo Clinic actually defines pet allergies as "... an allergic reaction to proteins found in an animal's skin cells, saliva or urine." So, it's not the fur making you sneeze.

3

Myth: Some dogs are hypoallergenic

Some dogs might, in fact, cause less itchy noses. However, this myth is based on whether a dog has "hair" instead of "fur" and how much they shed. According to American College of Asthma, Asthma and Immunology, fur isn't the trigger.

4

Myth: Wearing jeans and long-sleeved shirts will keep you from getting poison ivy

Mother Nature Network found that the oil from poison ivy can live on other surfaces for ages. Meaning, if your jeans brush through that poison ivy, its itch-causing oil will get on your clothes and stay there. They suggest tossing clothes exposed to the plant if you're allergic to poison ivy's oils. If you don't, it's all over once you touch that spot. Not sure if you're allergic to poison ivy? About 85 percent of Americans are, so the odds aren't in your favor.

5

Myth: Childhood food allergies go away

Some kids with allergies or sensitivities might eventually grow up to become more tolerant of eggs or dairy. Other times, as a child grows, their allergic reactions simply change and aren't necessarily visible. MedicineNet.com is quick to point out that many allergies don't lessen at all.

6

Myth: Scrub allergens and toxins away

Science suggests that exposing yourself to limited amounts of dirt and germs will actually help build your immune system and make you less susceptible to toxins. A house with no toxins will actually make the ones outside come on stronger.

7

Myth: Allergies only develop when you're young

Your body changes as you grow, and so can your response to toxins. As Dr. Richard Honsinger of the University of New Mexico School of Medicine told Woman's Day, "It’s very common for people to get them later in life... Plus, some young people’s allergies go away but then they crop up again later."

8

Myth: Honey cures
allergies

As Discovery Health points out, honey comes from bees and pollen, one of the biggest factors in seasonal allergies. We're not telling you to not eat honey, but we do suggest trying an actual allergy medicine.

9

Myth: Take medication after symptoms start

Antihistamines are made to block histamines. If you're showing symptoms, you've already been exposed and your best bet is to go the way of decongestants or try some antihistamine eye drops to help relieve allergy eye itch.

10

Myth: Moving to the desert will fix everything

We wish! This is only true if you're only allergic to ragweed. The desert comes with its own set of allergens, though, like cottonwood and sagebrush.

Lesson learned from all of this: Allergies of any variety are tricky to deal with. The best advice will come from an allergy specialist.

Overview

Often seen as a catlike breed, the Borzoi is a mix between an Arabian Greyhound and a thick-coated Russian breed. Meant to hunt in packs for foxes and wolves in Russia, Americans referred to them as Russian Wolfhounds until recent years. Kind and simple animals, they're independent dogs that make great house pets.

Breed standards

  • AKC group: Hound
  • UKC group: Sighthound
  • Average lifespan: 7 - 10 years
  • Average size: 60 - 105 pounds
  • Coat appearance: Long, silky, flat
  • Coloration: Golden, black, white, red, brindle, cream
  • Hypoallergenic: No
  • Possible alterations: Long, narrow head; slightly slanted, dark eyes; small ears close to the head; large, black nose; arched back, straight legs and long, curved tail
  • Possible alterations: Coat can be slightly wavy with many color variations, including black markings

Is this breed right for you?

Best for homes with larger yards, this breed is a loyal member of the family. Affectionate to both familiar people and strangers, the Borzoi would make a great pet for someone who has a lot of company. Good with children but not prone to roughhousing, this pet is best suited for families with teens or without children. Likely to hunt and chase smaller animals, this is not a good breed to pair with a cat. Quiet but large, he would do OK with apartment life if exercised regularly.

borzoi characteristics

A dream day in the life of a Borzoi

Waking up slowly, the Borzoi will quietly sneak downstairs for his daily feeding. After checking out the home, he'll go outside for a run and trail any possible animals in the yard. Once he knows the coast is clear, he'll be ready for a nap in the sun. When his owner gets home, the Borzoi will be patiently waiting for his daily run. After dinner, he'll snooze next to his master.
