Bill Clinton "wouldn't be surprised" if aliens visited Earth

If anyone knows if there are, or have ever been, aliens on Earth, it would probably be the president of the U.S. Former President Bill Clinton gave some insight into what he knows about extraterrestrials, and what he thinks may be possible.

Chelsea changed Bill Clinton's mind on gay marriage >>

The former POTUS revealed that while he was in office, he had his aides look into Area 51 "to make sure there was no alien down there." He said he also reviewed the files about a reported alien sighting in 1947 in Roswell, New Mexico.

Kimmel, who has been friends with the Clintons in recent months, asked Clinton, "If you saw that there were aliens there, would you tell us?"

"Yeah," Clinton replied.

Although he denied having actual knowledge of any aliens, Clinton did say he knows enough to believe it would be possible that an extraterrestrial would come to Earth one day, especially with everything we now know about our universe.

"If we were visited someday I wouldn't be surprised. I just hope it's not like Independence Day," he said, but added that an alien invasion may be the only way to bring together the people on Earth.

Alicia Keys wouldn't mind being abducted by aliens >>

"A conflict may be the only way to unite this increasingly divided world of ours. Think of how the differences among people of Earth would seem small if we feel threatened by a space invader.

"That's the whole theory of Independence Day," he added. "Everybody gets together and makes nice."

"You and Bill O'Reilly would be hiding in a bunker together," Kimmel joked.

Independence Day 2 is currently in the works, and is expected to be out in 2016.

After leaked screenshots made it to the internet, James Franco is now believed to have tried to arrange a hotel hookup with a teenage girl on Instagram. But, the whole thing may have been a fake, or a stunt by the actor.

A girl from Scotland by the name of Lucy Clode met Franco at his Of Mice and Men Broadway show where she took an Instagram video with the actor. Apparently, Franco told her, "You gotta tag me," after she recorded the clip.

James Franco denies he slept with Lindsay Lohan >>

Later on that night, Clode allegedly had a text conversation on Instagram with Franco where he asked her where she was from, if she had a boyfriend and how old she was. She told him she was 17 years old and that she'd turn 18 in May.

The pair then moved their conversation to text messaging where the actor asked Clode to meet him at a hotel in New York City.

Seth Rogen & James Franco Vogue spoof: "It had to be done" >>

"Can I see you?" Franco asked, to which Clode replied, "As long as you are James Franco." The actor said that he was and posted a selfie of his face as proof.

Clode seemed to rethink her decision when she told the actor that, "I'll come back when I'm 18," to which Franco replied with "X." Then she wrote, "Well this is a story my Scottish friends will never believe." Franco was quick to answer with, "Don't tell."

Further asking for more evidence that she was indeed texting with Franco himself, Clode got another photo after Franco told her to text him whenever she was ready to meet him.

James Franco robs the cradle to find new girlfriend >>

"One second, I will meet you if you write your name on a piece of paper then send it to me with your face also in the picture, please," she wrote. Franco obliged, although the two reportedly never met.

Franco then posted a message in response to the escalating scandal via his Twitter account saying, "I HOPE PARENTS KEEP THEIR TEENS AWAY FROM ME. Thank you." He linked an Instagram image of himself with the caption, "Why are you thirsty for underage ones?" but later deleted the image.

Speculation claims that if this is not a real conversation, Franco may have played the stunt in order to promote his latest movie, Palo Alto, where he plays a high school coach who seduces a teen soccer player.

Katy Perry pulls out a throwback for new single artwork

Katy Perry doesn't turn 29 years old until October, but that doesn't mean that the pop superstar can't celebrate her birthday a little early — seven months early, to be exact. On Thursday, April 3, the hit maker took to Twitter to unveil the artwork for her brand-new single "Birthday," and boy, it's a looker.

In the photo, which was probably pulled out of the Hudson family's old photo album, a young and spacey-eyed Katherine Hudson is seen sitting next to her younger sister Angela at some sort of family function in floral dresses and matching bows. But Katy didn't give a completely clear look at the artwork as her little sister's face and hand are blurry and pixelated.

Perry took advantage of Twitter and the usual #ThrowbackThursday theme to help spread the word about the new artwork, tweeting, "IF you would like to see my sisters amazing face/pose get #BIRTHDAY trending to the top & I will UNLOCK the genius with you... Hahahahahaha."

While we may have thought the best part about the family portrait was Angela offering the photographer the middle finger, our favorite California Gurl tricked us because when her Katy Cats finally made #BIRTHDAY into a trending topic, it wasn't exactly what we expected.

Instead of a feisty shot of little ol' Angela flipping off the cameraman, the baby sister is seen with her fist resting on her chin, looking even happier than Katy. Way to trick us, Miss Perry.

Following the release of the Juicy J collabo "Dark House," "Birthday" will serve as the fourth single off of Katy's latest album Prism and was produced by her usual production dream team, including Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Cirkut.

The old-school days of late night are officially coming to an end. David Letterman announced to an audience today that he will be retiring.

Late-night hosts react to Fallon's Tonight Show promotion >>

Letterman made his announcement during a taping of The Late Show with David Letterman, according to ABC News. He plans to retire in 2015, which will mean he will have been on the show for 22 years. He previously hosted NBC's Late Night but moved over to CBS after being superseded by Jay Leno as Johnny Carson's replacement on The Tonight Show.

The 66-year-old recently signed a contract that will keep him on CBS at least through 2015. Letterman began the late-night show in 1993 at the Ed Sullivan Theater in New York City. According to TMZ, he said the reason for the retirement is that he is turning 67 and wants to spend more time with his family — although he joked it was for another reason.

"Finally, Paul and I can get married," Letterman teased.

Johnny Depp then came out as the guest and said many people backstage were crying.

Letterman started his career as a stand-up comedian in the 1970s and started in late-night TV in 1984 on NBC. His 22-year CBS run hasn't had many interruptions, except for a bypass surgery back in 2000.

David Letterman grills Lindsay Lohan about rehab >>

Letterman has been married to his wife Regina Lasko since 2009. The couple has a son, Henry, who they welcomed in 2003.

Celebs began tweeting their thoughts on the retirement.

CBS hasn't yet announced a replacement for Letterman, but social media is full of ideas, including jokes about Jay Leno taking over the CBS show.

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

I’d never actually considered cutting my hair until now. Sure, I’d thought about in my head, even said it out loud to my boyfriend a few times, mostly just to gauge his reaction. But going through with it was never part of the plan.

Then I went through depression and it nearly tore me (and my entire relationship) apart. Surviving that and coming out on the other end OK gave me a whole new perspective on life. With the help of therapy, I grew as a person, stole back my happiness and strengthened my bond with my boyfriend. All I needed now was an outward change to reflect the new me on the inside. So I thought, why not cut my hair?

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

Sitting in the chair at the Fred Segal Salon in Santa Monica, I was nervous but super excited at the same time. After all, it’s not too often that a regular gal like me has a renowned celebrity stylist like Matthew Preece tending to her locks. I was getting the star treatment.

“So what are we doing today?” he asked in a friendly, upbeat tone.

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

“I want to chop it all off and brighten it up a bit” I said cheerfully, using my hands to show him the shoulder length I was thinking. I’d also sent myself several images I’d snagged off Pinterest to help paint him a clearer picture of what I was after: natural highlights and a textured lob.

“That’s going to look great on you, but why do you want to cut it?” he inquired, looking genuinely interested in what I had to say.

I shrugged my shoulders. “I’m just ready for a change. I’ve had long hair my whole life.” I truly had.

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

As soon as the hair started falling to the floor in large clumps, I felt like a huge weight had been lifted off my shoulders. I couldn’t believe how light and airy it felt already.

Because my hair was so long, Matthew decided to cut it first and then he added some insanely natural-looking blond highlights (by far the most natural highlights I’ve ever had) that subtly brightened me up all over. A brighter look for a brighter mood. I was obsessed, and once I left the salon, the compliments didn’t stop rolling in. My boyfriend loved it, and so did all my friends and family.

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

Arriving at my therapist's office the following Monday, even she couldn't stop raving about it. She also clued me in to the fact that, in psychology, a drastic haircut often signifies a new stage in a woman's life, a shift in her internal identity and how she sees herself. It was true. I saw myself (finally) as "me" again. The me I was before depression struck. The me that enjoyed getting out and doing fun stuff with her friends. The me that actually had energy and didn't want to just lay in bed all day. I was thrilled, ecstatic even. My short hair is giving me the fresh start on the outside I so desperately needed.

Why I decided to break up with my long as heck hair

Although there are still fleeting moments in which I yearn for my long locks, I have to say, I’ve never felt so alive and excited about this next phase of my life.

Ed Sheeran sings final lullaby to dying fan

It was a bittersweet day for the family of an Irish teenager on Sunday, when British singer, Ed Sheeran, fulfilled the girl's dying wish just moments before she passed away.

INTERVIEW: Tori Kelly reveals how Ed Sheeran changed her life >>

Fifteen-year-old Triona Priestley, who had been living with cystic fibrosis, was a huge Sheeran fan and her favorite song was "Little Bird," according to People.com. Priestley revealed to friends and family that her dying wish was for the singer/songwriter to serenade her with the tune, and her loved ones launched a Twitter campaign in an effort to make her dream come true.

The campaign started early in the week, when it became clear that Priestley might not have much time left, and by Friday night, #SongForTri was trending. Once Team Sheeran caught word of the story, they contacted a close friend of the Dublin teen in an effort to connect the fan with her hero.

"Ed rang Triona and personally sang "Little Bird" to her as she took her last breaths," Lucy Hanlon wrote on Facebook. "Triona left us listening to her idol surrounded by all the people who loved her. People's respect is incredible. We would like to thank everyone."

Sheeran joins the likes of Jennifer Lawrence and Charlie Sheen, who have also been known to show such compassion. In November, Lawrence exited the red carpet in a touching moment of kindness to comfort a crying fan named Jessica Hambly. Hambly, who suffers from a rare metabolic disorder and is confined to a wheelchair, was at the event because she had been granted a wish through the Starlight Children's Foundation. That same month, Sheen caught word of a fan named Marion Minchuk in Arizona, whose dying wish was to spend the day with the Anger Management actor. Sheen then paid for Minchuk, his girlfriend and his nurse to fly to Los Angeles and accompany the actor on the set of his show.

Triona's family expressed gratitude to Sheeran, as well as all the people who helped make the wish come true, via Independent.ie.

"Myself and my family would like to thank Ed Sheeran and everyone who started and supported the #SongForTri campaign," Priestley's brother, Colm, told the website. "What they gave us and her was a beautiful last moment together. Triona slipped into a sleep as Ed was singing to her and passed away shortly afterwards. So Ed Sheeran sang her to sleep."

Sheeran, who was already known to be an animal rescuer, proved that he truly has a heart of gold with his good deed. Upon hearing of Priestley's death, he posted a short tribute on Twitter.

Condolences to Triona's family.

Idina Menzel can look back and laugh at the moment John Travolta mispronounced her name at the Oscars, but the singer was thrown off for at least a few seconds when it first happened.

John Travolta talks Oscars name blunder: "Let it go!" >>

Menzel was getting ready for one of the most important performances of her life when the actor called her "Adele Dazeem" from the Oscars stage.

"I had done this whole preparation to make sure that I really was in my body and didn't get too nervous," she told the Today Show. "So I was picturing my [4-year-old] son, Walker, I thought, 'Let me just sing it to him like we do in the bathtub.' And [Travolta] said my name like that and I was like, 'Did that just happen?'"

The singer was on the stage to sing the Oscar-nominated song, "Let It Go," from the movie Frozen, and she said the flub threw her off.

"Then the orchestra started and then for eight seconds, I said, 'Get your s*** together!" she remembered. "And, like, stop worrying about your name and sing this song!' So it took me about eight seconds to get over myself."

8 Best Frozen lip-synch videos >>

Menzel is no stranger to the stage. She has been on Broadway for years, and she even won a Tony for her role in Wicked. She has also had a recurring role on Glee, and she currently stars in If/Then on Broadway. But she appreciates everything Frozen has done for her.

"The fact that ['Let it Go'] just connects with all these young kids makes it more wonderful," she said. "That's good for a 42-year-old woman to have a demographic of, you know, 5-year-olds. 'Cause then, when I'm 80, maybe they'll bring their kids to see me. and I'll still have a job."

The 30-year-old reality star was on season 13 of The Bachelor and was proposed to by Jason Mesnick, however they broke up just weeks later after he revealed on live TV that he had fallen in love with runner-up Molly Malaney. Rycroft went on to marry Tye Strickland in 2009 and they have a 2-year-old daughter named Ava together, in addition to their baby boy on the way.

The reality star is in her third trimester — and even shared a fun baby bump picture with the caption, “Look at that belly! Sooo close!”

Real Housewives of Atlanta’s Kim Zolciak posted this selfie as she showed off her body after giving birth to her twins, Kaia and Kane, 4 months ago. “I think I see an ab! Hey after 6 kids I’ll take it! “ she captioned the photo. This isn't her first post-twin selfie, as she posted another one four days after her babies were born to show off.

The 30-year-old reality star and her husband, NFL player Kroy Biermann, also have two sons together, 2-year-old KJ and 19-month-old Kash. Zolciak also has two daughters, 16-year-old Brielle and 12-year-old Ariana, from a previous relationship.

Apparently the feedback she received wasn’t all positive and she posted yet another selfie to prove she really was skinny from "genetics."

"For all the peeps that had sh*t to say about my side profile post (the one of my one ab) and questioning what I look like head on... here is a head on pic taken just now! #eatyourheartsout #genetics," she captioned the below photo:

"Clearly you can see that her ass has been photo shopped and a fake light of color has been added between her thighs to make it seem as if her thighs aren't touching! Smdh,"  @jessicalicious36 commented on Zolciak's photo.

Zolciak's response? "My thighs don't touch dumba*s and I wouldn't have a clue on how to photo shop an ass." The reality star has also slammed rumors that she has a post-baby tummy tuck.

It's a big ol' happy Jersey family! Just a few months after her BFF JWoww announced she is pregnant, Snooki has announced she is expecting her second child.

Why Snooki doesn't want her son dating JWoww's daughter >>

"Jionni and I are so excited to confirm that we are expecting our second child!" Snooki (whose real name is Nicole Polizzi) posted on her website. "Now knowing that our test results are good and our baby is healthy, we can finally talk about it!"

Snooki's pregnancy was first rumored a few months ago, which means she is probably at least a few months along. She and fiancé Jionni LaValle are already parents to 19-month-old Lorenzo.

"I want to thank everyone for their congratulations and we can feel how excited you are for us!" she added. "We could not be happier! Big things are happening this year with the wedding, moving into our dream house and having our second bambino or bambina!"

Snooki and LaValle were engaged in March 2012, six months before Lorenzo’s birth, and the two have been planning a wedding since. She announced her pregnancy news, with a link to her website, on Twitter Friday morning.

The Jersey Shore star did confirm she didn't just learn about her pregnancy, but she wanted to make sure they announced it when the time was right for them.

"Jionni and I are VERY happy together. He's my best friend and I'm his," she said. "Jionni and I wanted to clear the air by saying we only kept our second pregnancy to ourselves for the health of our child and until we reached a reasonable time to let the world know."

Congrats to the happy couple!

Ariana Grande puts Sam & Cat feud rumors to bed

The future of Nickelodeon's hit show Sam & Cat is uncertain, and while no one is really saying what exactly is going on, Ariana Grande wants to make one thing clear: It's not about the money.

After Grande's costar Jenette McCurdy complained of unfair treatment by the network, rumors quickly circulated that Grande's newfound popularity as a pop star landed her a bigger paycheck on the show — a rumor the celeb was quick to squash.

"I hate addressing rumors and I hate gossip but this is really bothering me," Grande wrote on Facebook yesterday. "Jennette and I agreed upfront that we would be treated equally on this show in all regards (as we should be, considering we each work just as hard as the other on this show). The rumors circulating about our contracts and our salary not being equal are absolutely ridiculous and false.

Ariana Grande nude pics are just an April Fool's joke >>

"I don't know who's putting these idiotic quotes out there but I thought I'd straighten it out and try to end this nonsense. As far as the show goes, I don't know what's happening because I'm not directly involved with the problem but I just wanted to address this one rumor in particular because I am NOT making more money than my costar, nor do I think I should be. So we can all move on and get out of our heads that this was a money thing cause I don't play like that at all. I am, have always been and always will be about equality and fairness."

McCurdy started tongues wagging when she unfollowed Grande on Twitter then skipped the Kids' Choice Awards. She explained her decision via Twitlonger.

"I was put in an uncomfortable, compromising, unfair situation (many of you have guessed what it is) and I had to look out for me," she wrote. "I chose to not go because sticking up for what is right and what is fair is what my mom taught me is ALWAYS the most important thing."

A rep for Nickelodeon insists that racy selfies of McCurdy in her underwear also have nothing to do with the show's troubles.

"The photos caused no issues between McCurdy and the network, and we have the utmost respect for her," a spokesperson said in a press statement.

If you use marijuana, are you harming your kids?

Marijuana is gaining legal ground in many states, both as a medical treatment as well as for recreational use in a few areas. If you partake, though, are you putting your kids in harm's way?

Moms who use pot

Marijuana use, while it appears to be gaining a legal foothold in the U.S., remains a highly-stigmatized drug. It remains illegal according to federal law. However, certain states are allowing for its use if prescribed by a physician, and two states — Colorado and Washington — allow its purchase for recreational use. But will the sight of a mom using a vaporizer or smoking a joint ever be as accepted as a mom with a glass of wine? Or does marijuana use paint the wrong image?

Moms who find benefits

Cannabis use is not only beneficial in certain medical cases, but these moms find that there are benefits for the casual user as well. Now, keep in mind that not everyone reacts the same way when they use a substance, and that what may be relaxing for some may be frightening for others. But some moms report that unwinding with cannabis is ideal for their situation.

"It helps me deal with the mundane chores that I have to do..."

"Smoking helps me focus, it helps curb the anxiety, and it helps me deal with the mundane chores that I have to do on a daily basis without beating my head against a wall," explains a mom of two. "As far as a better parent, I don't know. I think in a way, yes, because when I'm not as anxious I can relax and have fun with my kids more."

Another mom has similar feelings. "I don't use often, or to the point where I can't do anything — just a little bit helps keep me grounded, I think," she explains. "It sharpens my senses and I feel better mentally the day after."

Legal challenges

However, there are legal challenges to using cannabis, as you are probably aware. The laws are currently against recreational use in 48 states and the threat of punishment holds sway over many to not use it in the first place. Children have been taken away from families where illegal drugs have been found, and that's not a risk to take lightly. "I do worry about getting busted, but I know that I have no criminal history, I don't flaunt my use and I don't buy a ton at a time — so I could only get charged with the minimum," explains the mom of two quoted above. "I also think that within a few years it will be legalized, and that people are becoming a lot more educated about it."

In the meantime, moms keep their usage in the closet, because not doing so means that they are putting themselves and their families at risk. Even mothers in states where cannabis purchase and use is legal are hesitant to admit to using it due to the massive stigma the drug carries.

Neglectful parents?

But are moms who use cannabis bad parents or putting their kids in harm's way? The moms we talked to felt that just like with alcohol, cannabis use in moderation — when you're not driving and when you have a sober adult with you (and you're not exposing them to secondhand smoke) — is no more dangerous than drinking a glass of wine. "In fact," says Sheila, mom of three, "I feel more confident in my decision to use marijuana than I would drinking alcohol."

Marijuana carries with it an amazing black cloud that may or may not go away, even if it's eventually legalized, and that complicates the judgment of many when considering if a parent using it is detrimental to children. Public perception may be shifting, though, as more research is done and more parents open up on whether they use or not. What do you think?

Small spaces hit luxury prices in hot urban markets

As the cost of living increases, so does the cost of where you live. Real estate trends in large cities such as New York and San Francisco are sending mortgage prices through the roof. The demand for urban apartments is making ridiculously high prices the norm. A shortage of housing in economically thriving cities is not uncommon. Smaller units seem to be a better bargain, especially in New York, where more and more families are moving to the city. And popular demand makes large, family-friendly apartments rare in these real estate markets.

Of course, small apartments are in high demand as well, but are usually easier to find. Small urban apartments are a great investment for young singles who might desire a larger apartment in the future. These smaller spaces will always be sought after and are easy to sell or rent at any point in time. If living in a flourishing city is of interest to you, be sure to keep the future in mind. Do not let high prices discourage you. Keep in mind that living in luxury comes with a price that usually requires a loan. Start with a small space and work toward the urban apartment of your dreams.

Gluten-free zucchini hummus and peppered crackers

You get a double whammy in the recipe department with this snack because gluten-free zucchini hummus and peppered crackers are made for each other. When you're seeking a snack, whether for your family or if you're having friends over, these two are especially easy to make.

Gluten-free zucchini hummus and peppered crackers

The crackers call for just a few basic ingredients to mix together, and they have a zesty bite to them. The ground black pepper mixed with smoked paprika and sea salt keep these babies savory and delightful.

Gluten-free zucchini hummus and peppered crackers

Now, what to do with these flavorful crackers? Dip them into the smooth zucchini hummus, of course. Again, you only need a few basic ingredients to make this flavorful dip, and you get the benefit of combining veggies with beans for a healthy snack option.

Gluten-free zucchini hummus with homemade peppered crackers recipe

Makes about 1-1/2 cups hummus and about 40 crackers

Ingredients:

For the crackers

  • 1-1/2 cups almond meal
  • 3/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon water

For the zucchini hummus

  • 1 (15-ounce) can cannellini (white) beans, rinsed and drained
  • 1 small zucchini cut into chunks
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2-3 tablespoons lemon juice (to taste)
  • 3-4 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese (to taste)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt (more to taste)

Directions:

For the crackers

  1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Add the almond meal, black pepper, smoked paprika and salt to a medium bowl and whisk to combine.
  3. Add the egg to a small bowl, and beat it with a fork. Add the olive oil and water, and mix to combine.
  4. Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and mix until combined.
  5. Lay a sheet of parchment paper on a flat work surface. Transfer the dough to the parchment paper, and top it with another sheet.
  6. Use a rolling pin to flatten the dough so it’s about 1/8-inch thick. Try to keep the shape in long oval (or as rectangular as possible) so it fits on a baking sheet.
  7. Remove the top sheet of parchment paper and transfer the bottom sheet with the dough onto to a baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-14 minutes or until golden and crisp.
  9. Remove from the oven and allow it to cool slightly to the touch. While still warm, remove the parchment and transfer the whole to a cutting board.
  10. Use a sharp knife to cut away the edges from the large portion, then cut the remaining dough into squares, about 2 x 2 inches in size. Allow the crackers to fully cool before serving.

For the zucchini hummus

  1. Add all the ingredients to a food processor and blend until smooth. You may need to stop and scrape down the sides with a rubber spatula, then continue to blend.
  2. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed. Refrigerate until ready to use.

This recipe double dips into snack territory.

This is wholesome: Honey Maid's epic response to bigots

Remember recently when the cute, seemingly innocuous Cheerios commercial with a biracial family caused a total media ruckus thanks to a bunch of racists?

Well, it would seem a surplus of vocal bigots are on the social media warpath.

Coke's Super Bowl clip: 10 Things more "un-American" >>

On March 10, graham cracker behemoth Honey Maid ran a 30-second spot aimed at reminding us of the wholesomeness of family. The ad — which features a diverse cross section of parents including a single dad, a gay couple, a biracial couple and a military couple — struck a nerve with some conservative watchdog groups, who took to the internet to chastise Honey Maid and rebuke their morals and products.

One such group, One Million Moms, got their collective one million melodramatic selves in a total tizzy over the ad, admonishing, "Nabisco should be ashamed of themselves for their latest Honey Maid and Teddy Graham cracker commercial where they attempt to normalize sin. Right away it shows two men with a baby, followed by other families, and ends with different families pictured including the one with two dads. This commercial not only promotes homosexuality, but then calls the scene in the advertisement wholesome."

In response to negative feedback, Honey Maid put out a short (but most definitely sweet) statement.

Mean girl epidemic: SELF mag mocks cancer survivor's tutu >>

"Today we celebrate all families. From working moms to two moms; stay at home dads to single dads; adopted kids to surrogate kids. Honey Maid recognizes that the reality of family has changed, but the wholesome connections that all families share will endure."

The classy message, followed with the hashtag #thisiswholesome, was enough to make us sing the graham cracker experts' praises. What they did next, though, truly blew us away.

The company enlisted two artists to help turn the hate into something else — something better — and documented it. And, well, we're not going to lie. We may have gotten a little choked up watching the new spot… and then driven straight to the store to stock up on Teddy Grahams.

In our humble opinion, Honey Maid is the kind of company that satisfies the sweet tooth and the soul. See for yourself.

P.S. Why are people still getting hung up on this stuff? To quote a classic, "What the world needs now is love, sweet love/it's the only thing that there's just too little of/what the world needs now is love sweet love/no, not just for some, but for everyone."

Prince Harry, Cressida Bonas serious, but no proposal yet

Reports have been swirling like a tornado that Prince Harry is close to proposing to girlfriend Cressida Bonas, but sources claim that the pair is not yet preparing for marriage.

While insiders close to the royal family have been tight-lipped about Harry and Bonas' relationship, other sources claimed that a proposal was coming "sooner than people think," The Daily Mail reported. But, People magazine is saying that it is unlikely that Prince Harry is ready to propose yet.

Prince Harry to marry? 5 Things to know about Cressida >>

The Mail claims that the royal family is getting ready to hold a "summit" about the possibility of a royal proposal. However, the People source said that Harry's is not "the sort of family that needs to have a 'summit' over an engagement."

The insider added that only the couple would be privy to any information regarding an upcoming proposal. "If they were going to get engaged Harry would want to keep it so very quiet."

Harry would probably have an engagement similar to his brother Prince William's, where he asked for Kate Middleton's hand in secret while on a trip to Africa. The younger prince and his sweetheart are likely to keep any future engagement as low-key as possible while they can, and holding a "summit" is definitely not the way to go about that.

Prince Harry builds the best toilets, reveals Dominic West >>

However, Harry, 29, and Bonas, 25, are indeed very serious about their relationship and a future proposal is certainly not ruled out. The two have been spotted together on several occasions recently, including at Bonas' first royal outing where Harry made a speech to 12,000 young people.

Ironically, that outing prompted bookmakers to come up with odds that a proposal is likely, and for many to place bets on the matter as well.

Meanwhile, Harry and Bonas have also been spotted on countless informal dates: going to the movies, theater shows and even out for burgers together.
