Is The Rachel Zoe Project getting the ax from Bravo TV?

Is The Rachel Zoe Project doomed? Rumors are running rampant that the show is about to be cancelled, but Bravo TV is singing a different tune.

Rachel Zoe

Is this the beginning of the end for Bravo TV's The Rachel Zoe Project? According to Radar Online, it is. The entertainment site is claiming the reality show is on a deathwatch after low ratings in Season 5.

According to sources, "The decision has been made to cancel Rachel's show... All we are waiting for is the announcement. The ratings are lackluster and Bravo has decided that Rachel's show has run its course."

The reasons include the departures of style assistants Brad Goreski and Taylor Jacobson and the fact that Zoe has switched her focus from styling to creating her own fashion line. Her personal life also changed significantly when she gave birth to her fashionably dressed son, Skyler, in 2011.

The insider revealed, "Viewers loved the drama of Rachel's staff. There isn't any of that anymore."

There is also the rumored behind-the-scenes drama that the fashionista is upset that her show leads into Goreski's own 30-minute reality show. After their falling out, she feels insulted that the cable channel would do that to her.

However, take all of this news with a grain of salt because E! News spoke with Bravo reps, who said, "Rachel and Brad [Goreski] are currently airing and NO decision has been made for the next season."

Ratings for both reality shows are down over previous seasons, so it remains to be seen whether either show will survive another round. Bravo TV will make a decision at the conclusion of their seasons.

Music Review: Psy's "Gentleman"

Psy took the world by storm with his hit "Gangnam Style." Can lightening strike twice for the K-pop singer?

Psy

In 1995, the world was captivated by a song and dance craze called "Macarena." The artists were a Spanish pop duo formed in 1962 named Los del Rio. Who, you may ask? Exactly.

Which is why Psy has a very big task ahead of him. To say that "Gangnam Style" took the world by storm may be a bit of an understatement. It was the first video to hit 1 billion views on YouTube and is still the site's most watched video.

"Gangnam Style" introduced the world to K-pop, or Korean pop music, and spawned a worldwide dance craze of people comically riding pretend horses.

And for most bands, that's where it would end. They would comically ride their pretend horse into the sunset — just like Los del Rio.

But Psy has another idea. His next single, "Gentleman," just hit the internet.

Check out Jay-Z's new single, "Open Letter" >>

Is it as addictive as "Gangnam Style"? Will it have as much impact? Well, I'm not sure — mainly because most of the initial interest in "Gangnam Style" was strictly due to the video.

Let's face it, without the video, "Gangnam Style" would probably not have taken over the world as it did. It's not that great of a song, but boy, that video makes it memorable.

But you know, there's just something about "Gentleman" that sticks in your head. And is it me, or does it almost feel like a Pitbull song? Anyway, I would like to apologize in advance for driving everyone crazy as I go around singing, "I-I-I'm a mother-father-gentleman."

So I am going to reserve my judgment until the "Gentleman" video comes out. According to New York Magazine, we won't have to wait long. The video is set to be released on YouTube this Saturday at 5:30 a.m. Eastern Time, live from Seoul's World Cup Stadium.

In the meantime, you will have to excuse me because I'm going to go listen to "Gentlemen" again — for the fifth time. Check it out!

Will this be as big as "Gangnam Style"? Let us know in the comments.

To the Wonder movie review: Beautiful torture

$

This arty film explores marriage in a meditative, purely visual way that is light on dialogue and heavy on symbolism. If you love to interpret visual landscapes as symbols of emotion, you'll love this movie. If not, you'll probably relate to one lady in the audience who blurted out, "This movie is torture!"

To the Wonder

2.5 Stars: Perfect for art-house film lovers

The film begins at Mont Saint-Michel in Normandy, France. Beautiful lovers Neil and Marina adoringly explore this castle, which is only accessible by foot when the tide goes out. The other half of the day, this fortress becomes an island protected and surrounded by the frigid sea. Here, director Terrence Malick creates his first visual metaphor for the human heart — ebbing and flowing from a state of vulnerability to isolation. It's every human's quest to control the tides around our own heart, but Malick suggests this may be impossible.

Argo movie review: Ben Affleck the new Warren Beatty? >>

Neil Is the embodiment of Mont Saint-Michel when the tide is in — he is remote, secluded and unreachable. Marina is the castle when the tide is out — accessible, penetrable and unsecure. If only the lovers could experience the same tranquility and balance afforded to the French tidal island.

To the Wonder

Marina and her 10-year-old daughter move to the Midwest with Neil. Things seem wonderful at first, but Marina longs to be married again, and despite her beauty and love for him, Neil can't commit. Marina returns to France when her visa expires, and Neil distracts himself with Jane , an old friend from high school.

But Jane has woes of her own, as she is still in mourning after the death of her baby. Again alone, Neil spends his days testing his small town's groundwater for toxins and pollutants while wistfully daydreaming about the clean, life-giving sea of Mont Saint-Michel.

When Marina falls on hard times, she returns to Neil in the Midwest, leaving her daughter with her dad in France. Neil and Marina are married by Father Quintana , a priest who is questioning his own faith and has his own take on love, saying, "Love isn't just a feeling; it is a duty." How romantic. Father Quintana also blesses prisoners at the local jail, clearly suggesting that marriage can be its own prison.

To the Wonder

To the Wonder is a magnificent visual story, with grasslands, bison and Parisian architecture that stand in for Neil and Marina's emotions. Without a traditional storyline, this film becomes a rumination on the fragility of love.

Bottom line: If you enjoyed Malick's last film, Tree of Life, you'll certainly enjoy this one. If action scenes and witty dialogue are more your speed, definitely skip this movie.

To the Wonder opens April 12. Runtime is 1 hour, 55 minutes.

Ashley Judd has joined Summit Entertainment's hot new property, Divergent. She'll star alongside Shailene Woodley in the film based on the best-selling novel. Judd will play a conflicted and worried mother.

Ashley JuddAshley Judd has found a way into Summit's Divergent. It's the big-screen adaptation of Veronica Roth's book of the same name. The actress has snagged one of the film's last major roles.

Judd will play mama bear to Shailene Woodley's character, Beatrice Prior. The futuristic film is set in a "world where people are divided into distinct factions based on their personalities. A young woman finds out she is not a member of any group and must risk all to stop a war between the factions."

Kate Winslet joins Divergent>>

Judd joins a star-studded cast, which includes Kate Winslet, Ray Stevenson, Maggie Q, Zoë Kravitz, Jai Courtney and Theo James. The actress will also reunite with her Olympus Has Fallen co-star Aaron Eckhart, who plays Andrew Prior.

It looks like Judd's flirtation with politics was just that — a flirtation. She's back to doing what she's proven successful at. At the moment, her bid for Senate is taking a backseat.

Divergent is expected to be a major hit for Summit. The novel's popularity plus the hot young cast is likely to be a winning combination. Woodley recently wrapped The Amazing Spider-Man 2, in which she plays Mary Jane Watson. Her star is definitely on the rise.

Production on Divergent began earlier this week in Chicago. The film's directed by Neil Burger, whose previous credits include Limitless and The Lucky Ones.

Divergent is scheduled to hit theaters March 21, 2014.
