Megyn Kelly, herself a former victim of sexual misconduct at work, is doing what she can to make sure news of her former co-worker Matt Lauer's misconduct is reported aggressively. And part of that is inviting Lauer's accusers onto her show.

Kelly extended the invitation during her hour of the Today show Thursday, along with a vow to stay transparent as she covered the Lauer case, even though she works for the network that fired him.
"You don’t want to be getting that explicit about a colleague that you worked with 24 hours ago. These are pointed questions about NBC management, but that’s how we’re going to report it here for you at NBC," Kelly said. "That’s our commitment to you, to bring you the truth and to do a full and fair investigation of this story as it comes to us."
She continued, "As hard as it is to report on one of our own colleagues, we remain committed to telling people’s stories if they choose to come forward. And the women in this case too — the Matt Lauer case — are invited and welcome to do exactly that on this show."

Kelly has previously spoken out about the sexual harassment she endured under former Fox News head Roger Ailes when she worked there. She recently recalled one incident to Deadline of Ailes inviting her to a meeting and telling her "smart" women in the industry slept their way to the top, then telling her to be "smart" too.
"I thought my hard work had been recognized," Kelly said. "I thought this was a career trajectory kind of moment. Instead I’m looking at a dirty old man who wants to get in my pants."

Kelly's show may or may not be where Lauer's victims choose to make their voices heard, but the fact that harassment is such a shared experience among women in entertainment and media definitely needs to be noticed and changed.
