Ingredients:

  • 10 ounces firm tofu packed in water
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil, divided
  • 3 cups assorted stir-fry vegetables
  • 1/4 cup Asian hot sauce, such as Sriracha
  • 1/4 cup sweet chili sauce

Samuel L. Jackson insists white reporter use the N-word

Jake Hamilton refused to say the N-word to Samuel L. Jackson's face, and, well, Jackson made the rest of the interview very, very awkward.

Samuel L Jackson

Race is an uncomfortable topic for most people, and talking about race — particularly controversial racial topics — is likely what Quentin Tarantino, director of Django Unchained, had in mind when he made the movie. Unfortunately for reporter Jake Hamilton of Houston-based Jake's TakesSamuel L. Jackson wasn't about to let a white reporter get away with avoiding a certain word during their interview.

Django Unchained movie review: Bold and bloody>>

Hamilton began his questions in a seemingly routine way, but an unimpressed Jackson interrupted the reporter mid-sentence.

JH: "You know there's been a lot of controversy surrounding the usage of the N-word in this movie and..."

SLJ: "No? Nobody? None? The word would be?"

JH: "I don't want to say it."

SLJ: "Why not?"

JH: "I don't like to say it."

SLJ: "Have you ever said it?"

JH: "No sir."

SLJ: "Try it."

JH: "I don't like to say it."

SLJ: "Try it!"

JH: "Really, seriously?"

SJ: "We're not going to have this conversation unless you say it. You want to move on to another question?"

JH: "Okay. Awesome. Um..."

You can get the full interview below; Hamilton starts talking to Jackson around the 13:55 mark. Hamilton looks noticeably unsure and surprised at Jackson's reaction to his avoidance of using the N-word. Jackson seems irritated at the so-called sugarcoating of the interview.

Did Samuel L. Jackson drop the F-bomb on SNL?>>

Hamilton commented today, "The most awkward moment was just seeing everyone in the room freeze, and waiting to see what my reaction was going to be." He continued, "Whatever the video's doing today, making the rounds, it's not as bad as it would be if I had actually said it. The last thing that my affiliate needs is one of their reporters going around saying the N-word and broadcasting it everywhere."

This one is a tough call, and we can see both sides of the issue. Hamilton chose to play it safe regarding the use of the N-word, and Samuel L. Jackson looks like a bit of a bully.

Singer Patti Page dies at age 85

"Tennessee Waltz" singer Patti Page died at age 85 on New Year's Day.

Patti Page

Patti Page died on Jan. 1, 2013; the singer was 85 years old. Younger generations may not be familiar with Patti Page, but she was one of the most successful recording artists in history. Page sold over 100 million records with her most popular song, "Tennessee Waltz," which spent 13 weeks on top of the Billboard music charts in 1950. Younger fans might be familiar with another of her hits, " Doggie in the Window?" which went to No. 1 on the Billboard charts in 1953.

An Oklahoma native, Patti Page was just 20 years old when she signed with Mercury Records, which is still in existence today as part of the Island Def Jam Music Group. Mercury Records, then a relatively new label, credits Page as its first — and one of the most — successful female artists.

She had commerical success with her first single, "Confess," released in 1948, and then made history with her second single, "With My Eyes Wide Open, I'm Dreaming," released in 1950. That song sold over 1 million copies. Page is credited with introducing the technique of overdubbing, which allows studios to add sound to a previously recorded song. Overdubbing was first done on her song "With My Eyes Wide Open, I'm Dreaming," to make up for the lack of backup vocals.

Fox News reports her biggest hit, "Tennessee Waltz," was not intended to be a major song, although it ended up becoming the first pop song that had country crossover appeal. "Tennessee Waltz" was recorded on the flip side of the record, commonly known as the B-side; the A-side was a Christmas song Page recorded for radio play.

Page was quoted once as saying, "Mercury wanted to concentrate on a Christmas song and they didn't want anything with much merit on the flip side." She went on, "The title of that great Christmas song was 'Boogie Woogie Santa Claus,' and no one ever heard of it."

It's not clear how "Tennessee Waltz" hit radio airwaves. Perhaps radio disc jockeys played it by mistake.

Page died on New Year's Day in Encinitas, California, according to her publicist, Schatzi Hageman. Page is survived by her son, Daniel O'Curran; her daughter, Kathleen Ginn; and her sister, Peggy Layton.

Below is the full version of Patti Page's "Tennessee Waltz."

Nashville: The Whole Story tonight!

These boots were made for drama, y'all!

Nashville cast

Did you miss out on some or all of the first half of Nashville's premiere season? Fret not! ABC has got you covered with Nashville: The Whole Story. The special show will spend an hour catching up and digging into the first half of the show.

We'll look back on how Teddy ended up as putty in Lamar's hands. We'll watch as he betrays his buddy Coleman Carlisle and thoroughly ticks off his wife, singing legend Rayna . We'll even relive the nightmare with that wretched and simpering Peggy. ABC will remind viewers just what possessed Teddy to run for mayor and hurt so many people in the first place. That should be interesting.

Nashville's Scarlett

We'll also relive Scarlett's story from her first introduction to the vixen-like Juliette to becoming a "loose" girl after an awful week. We'll watch the waitress/poetess turn into a songwriter/singer with just the snap of an old man's fingers and the help of one seriously hot guy.

Speaking of hot guys, it wouldn't be a television drama without a few torrid love affairs, and Nashville certainly offers up its fair share of those. First, there is the young love triangle among Scarlett and her leading men, Avery and Gunnar. Or, well, it could be a polygon if you include Marilyn and Hailey. Uh-oh.

Let's not forget the old flames that burn between Rayna and Deacon, either. Did we ever finally decide who's daddy to Rayna's two little girls? The always vindictive Juliette also tried her turn with Deacon, but that seems to be over... for now. After all, she's in a very, very serious relationship with that super cute quarterback. That was made to last.

Finally, there is sure to be tons and tons of great music. Everyone knows that no version of Nashville is complete without the music. Nashville offers all kinds. You've got the pop-country crossover stuff that sounds exactly like Taylor Swift that Juliette gives you. Meanwhile, Rayna plays a slightly different country game more reminiscent of Martina McBride's kind of music. Then there are Scarlett and Gunnar who, without doubt, have the most folky, earnest sound. It's so sweet and beautiful. Especially when they cover The Civil Wars' "If I Didn't Know Better."

Oh, it's all too much to rehash! We'll leave it to ABC.

For more deets so that you can be fully prepared for the return of Nashville, turn on ABC tonight at 10/9c.

What trends are going to shape your plate this year? Each new year brings a whole slew of new culinary trends. To get the new year started properly, we'll take a look at the five biggest trends that will be affecting what you find in restaurants, on food television and on your home table.

What trends are going to shape your plate this year? Each new year brings a whole slew of new culinary trends.

What's going to be
hot in the new year

To get the new year started properly, we'll take a look at the five biggest trends that will be affecting what you find in restaurants, on food television and on your home table.

In years past, gourmet hamburgers, fancy hot dogs and bacon were all the rage, but their time has come and gone, and a new set of culinary ingredients are waiting to be the stars. Already, food industry analysts and hungry eaters are spotting trends that will be shaping what we eat in the coming year and beyond, so if you want to know what's in and what's out in the culinary scene, the time to start looking is now. To get started, here are five trends that will affect what we eat and the people who cook for us. The trends come from the Sterling-Rice Group and the National Restaurant Association.

Restaurants will get healthy

Restaurants will get healthy.

Experts say

Both SRG and the National Restaurant Association agree this year, there will be an increased focus on healthy eating. The National Restaurant Association feels that there will particularly be a focus on providing children with healthier meal alternatives, while SRG feels that chefs will come under increasing pressure to cut out unhealthy ingredients and instead prepare gourmet meals without the cream and butter.

We say

It's likely that with childhood obesity rates on the rise, the trend toward healthy children's meals will be fairly popular. However, cutting out the calories in adult meals may be a harder sell. Some diners will enjoy the healthier options, while others will want to going out to eat to be a more hedonistic venture and may backlash against "healthy" if it gets in the way of taste.

Portions will get smaller

Portions will get smaller.

Experts say

While this may sound like it should go under healthy eating, the fact that portion sizes may start to drop is actually due to an increased desire for diners to mix-and-match their own meals. SRG feels that many restaurants will begin to offer smaller plates so that diners can create their own menus tailored exactly to what they want to eat when they want it.

We say

It's interesting to see how this trend will shape up in the coming years. On one hand, small plates can create a perfect dining experience, but they do require more work for kitchens that have to handcraft each plate. Also, it's not unlikely that many diners will want individualized plates, but not smaller portions.

Local, sustainable, and artisan foods will remain popular

Local, sustainable and artisan foods will remain popular.

Experts say

The National Restaurant Association has several trends relating to local and sustainable food. This is hardly a 2013-only trend as the locavore movement has been in effect for some time, but they also feel that restaurants will start to go "hyper-local" and serve food grown from their own gardens. SRG feels that American food artisans, many of whom are local, will also find more of their products on restaurant plates because of their increased quality.

We say

Of all trends, this one is the most likely to stay true through 2013 and into the future. Diners are realizing their plate is connected to the environment, making many eaters clamor for local/sustainable options. Also, American artisans are producing foods which are giving their European competition a run for their money and awareness of these craftspeople is growing.

Asian comfort food

2013 will be the year of Asian comfort food.

Experts say

Asian cuisine has become part of the American culinary landscape. Chinese take-out, Japanese sushi and Thai noodles can be found just about everywhere these days. The next step, SRG says, is that Asian cuisine will start to transform American comfort food with dishes like chicken and dumplings, fried chicken, ribs and sandwiches all getting an Asian twist.

We say

Given the number of Asian-fusion restaurants, American diners are already used to seeing Asian foods combined with other cuisines. The jump to classic American food is a natural.

Savory fruit

Fruits won't just be sweet.

Experts say

SRG has also made a bold prediction that fruit will stop being sweet and start being a complementary flavor in savory dishes. This will involve not only pairing fruit with new ingredients but also using different techniques on the fruit such as pickling, dehydrating and frying.

We say

This one will be interesting to see how it pans out since many Americans equate fruit with sweet and dessert. Still, part of making this trend happen will be highlighting how fruit can be used in interesting ways, but also, as SRG states, part of it will likely be swapping out more sugary fruits for tart or sour varieties. Also, given the emphasis on Asian cuisine this year, don't be surprised to see Asian fruits used more often as well.

What Girls star was almost a goner?

$

HBO's Girls is headlined by four talented actresses. It's hard to imagine the show without each of them. Yet, one of the stars has revealed how she almost missed out on this golden opportunity.

zosia mamet

The success of HBO's Girls hinges on the chemistry between its stars. Lena Dunham, Allison Williams, Jemima Kirke and Zosia Mamet make the show pop. But one of the women almost didn't make the cut.

According to The New York Times, Mamet had a rough audition. It was so bad she was convinced she'd lost the part of Shoshanna. The day of her reading, Mamet was battling a terrible cold. To keep her symptoms at bay, she took several doses of cough medicine. It was a good idea in theory, but it threw her off her game.

“Those cold meds are nothing to mess with, let me tell you," Mamet explained. "I called my agent and said, ‘I think I may have lost this job.'" At the time, the Shoshanna character wasn't a major part of the show. She could have easily been written out of the pilot. Therefore, it wouldn't have been a huge loss. But something about Mamet's unique performance made Dunham want to expand on the role.

Another sneak peek at Girls' Season 2>>

“She definitely shifted my original conception of the character, which was a much more tangential girl, whose main job was to illuminate how un-Sex and the City this world was,” said star and creator Dunham. “But Zosia’s read — her odd intonations, her roiling insecurity — gave me the sense that Shoshanna could be something much larger.”

The rest is TV history. Shoshanna is a core member of the Girls team. We love her quirky and neurotic behavior.

Jenni Pulos, Flipping Out reality star, is pregnant and freaking out! The newlywed, who reveals she also suffered a miscarriage, says she may still be too "immature" for motherhood.

Jenni Pulos

Flipping Out project manager extraordinaire Jenni Pulos is pregnant! While announcing she and new husband Jonathan Nassos are set to become parents in 2013, the reality star also admitted to having a major case of nerves.

"I am so very grateful for the best Christmas/New Year/Bday gift ever," Pulos tweeted along with the hashtag #yesiampregnant on Wednesday.

Seen here at the NOH8 party in Hollywood on Dec. 13, the Bravo reality star looked to be sporting a tiny bit of a baby bump! She is currently 17 weeks along.

Although Pulos and Nassos, whose wedding was featured in Flipping Out's sixth season, are thrilled to be expecting, they know the pain of loss all too well. Pulos revealed to Us Weekly that she suffered a miscarriage a few short months after they exchanged vows.

Recalling how she felt hearing the pregnancy news from her doctor in October, Pulos said, "I didn't think it would happen so quickly. I was open to IVF or adoption."

"I won't lie: I'm scared!" the mom-to-be added. "I'm like, 'How am I going to be a mom? I'm so immature!' But I'm going for it. It's so exciting."

No congratulatory wishes have yet been sent out from Jeff Lewis, Pulos' boss and Flipping Out co-star, via Twitter. In December the pair made headlines when he filed a lawsuit against her over her upcoming book Hang in There, Baby -- What One of the World's Most Difficult Bosses Taught Me About Life, Work and Love.

Nonetheless, Pulos is in a celebratory mood. She tweeted late Wednesday, "Never give up on love... or baby!" #cougarscandoit!

Ariel Winter heads to school for the first time

Modern Family star Ariel Winter is doing something new in 2013: She's headed to school for the first time after years of private tutoring.

ArielWinterHeadsToSchool

It looks like Modern Family star Ariel Winter is starting 2013 off on the right foot. TMZ is reporting that the 14-year-old is heading to school for the first time.

This may sound like no big deal to most teens, but Winter has been privately tutored her entire life. Recently, Winter was officially placed in the care of her sister, Shanelle Workman-Gray, and the decision was made to place her in a private Los Angeles-area high school.

Sources told the gossip site that the ABC star faces stricter rules in her sister's home, but she is flourishing under her sibling's guardianship. This is a big change from the tumultuous time she spent under the care of her mother, Chrisoula Workman. Last fall where there was evidence of emotional abuse in the parental home.

The other good news is that this change in living conditions has improved the actress' mood on set. Modern Family producers say they have seen a positive change in Winter and are happy to work with her class schedule.

The custody settlement was reached in mid-December with Workman-Gray maintaining custody of her younger sister. Winter's dad, Glenn Workman, was given authority over the young star's finances. Ariel's parents are currently separated and do not live in the same household.

The entire family is undergoing counseling to help everyone heal from a very emotionally charged case. Ariel's mother also lost control of her daughter's career and cannot contact her daughter outside of counseling.

After such a dramatic fall for the teen, it's nice to see that Winter has landed safe and sound in the new year.

Sneak Peek: The Biggest Loser's not kidding around

An all new season of The Biggest Loser starts on Sunday. It promises to be great!

Biggest Loser contestants and trainers

There's so much awesome stuff planned for this season of The Biggest Loser. We can't tackle everything, but we'll tell you two of the most important things.

First, Jillian Michaels is back! She's such a beast. She pushes her contestants so hard, but you can always see the love in her heart and her desire to see them achieve their goals. We're sure the contestants were stoked to see her return, but we also know the viewers are excited, too.

Check out this awesome clip of Jillian in all her glory...

Another incredibly cool thing The Biggest Loser is doing this season is tackling childhood obesity, a major problem in America right now. According to the CDC , roughly one-third of children and adolescents were overweight or obese in 2008. The numbers continue to rise, so it's safe to assume that four years later, that fraction is probably even more significant.

So, what's The Biggest Loser doing about childhood obesity? It's trying to raise awareness by having three of its youngest contestants ever. It will be interesting to see how rough Jillian and the boys get with these kids. We're also hoping they aren't affected by any of the lame games the adults have been playing during recent seasons.

Watch this introduction to the kids. You're going to have a hard time not falling in love with them.

It looks like this season will be a good one. Enjoy the show!

Emma Stone & Ryan Gosling: The hot, "writhing" memories

Emma Stone has experienced firsthand what many women have only dreamed of — a tussle between the sheets with Ryan Gosling! The actress recalls her "writhing" session to Glamour UK and shares how the paparazzi have invaded her brain.

Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield

Emma Stone will never forget the day she spent "writhing" around on Ryan Gosling's bed, even if her friends were at one point reluctant to believe it ever happened!

"I can still remember the first time I auditioned with Ryan for Crazy, Stupid, Love," Stone, Glamour UK magazine's latest cover girl, shared.

"My friends took me to the airport that night and when they asked me what I'd been doing all day, and I said that I'd been writhing around all over Ryan Gosling's bed, they were like, ‘Right! Get on that plane!' I guess that is pretty weird to hear."

Emma Stone admits she is "less buxom" than her curvy comic-book character >>

Weird has, however, become the norm for the actress, who was caught by photog cameras out with boyfriend Andrew Garfield on Dec. 12.

"It's weird in Los Angeles.... [Paparazzi are] hiding out everywhere," the 24-year-old The Help actress vented. "The hardest thing is that it makes me act like an a**hole because I now have this weird level of paranoia that I never had before."

"It feels like having a private investigator on you or something," Stone continued. "You find yourself walking around holding your head up like you're looking in the mirror—and your friends are wondering what's wrong with you. Then I feel like a jerk because half the time there's nobody there.... Still, I really don't want to be caught with a burger all over my face."

Does Emma Stone have a pre-fame sex tape? >>

Though life in California may have its downsides, the beauty admitted she can't quite understand her British beau's cultural quirks, either.

"Why is drinking such a big thing in Britain?" she pondered. "Then there's the 'c' word — the 'see you next Tuesday' word — it's everywhere, peppering every sentence, whereas if you say that word in America it shuts down the whole room. And of course there's all the 'piss-taking' you guys do over there."

Hulk Hogan breathes new life into his sex tape

Hulk Hogan refiles $100 million sex tape lawsuit agains Gawker and Heather Clem in Florida state court.

Hulk Hogan

Hulk Hogan is bringing his sex tape back to life. Hogan refiled his $100 million lawsuit in Florida court just months after he asked a judge to dismiss the suit in federal court. TMZ reports Hogan decided to dismiss the federal suit in order to consolidate his claims against Gawker and his sexual partner on the tape, Heather Clem, into one case. Hogan is suing both Gawker and Heather Clem — Hulk says he was secretly filmed and that Clem had a role in leaking the footage to Gawker.

Want to see a Hulk Hogan sex tape? Too bad, it exists>>

The sex tape featuring Hulk Hogan having sex with Clem — who at the time was the wife of radio DJ Bubba the Love Sponge — was initially leaked to the website Gawker in early October 2012. The leaked video is in grainy black and white and is one minute of the 30-minute sex tape. It is also shot from an angle looking down onto a large canopy bed, as if the camera was placed on some sort of high shelf or in a ceiling corner.

Hulk Hogan drops sex tape lawsuit when BFF apologizes>>

What's a bit odd about Hulk Hogan's sex tape is that Hulk and Heather talk to a man off camera for a bit. Gawker and most others assume the off-stage presence was Heather's now ex-husband and Hogan's best friend, Bubba the Love Sponge. So while Hulk Hogan seems to have been aware he was in some kind of voyeuristic situation, the quality of the sex tape and placement of the camera suggest to us that Hogan likely didn't know he was being filmed.

The lawsuit Hogan filed for unspecified damages against Bubba the Love Sponge was settled out of court, and Sponge apologized on the air. Given the divorce of Bubba and Clem, it seems Sponge doesn't mind wathching his wife get nailed with a massive lawsuit — ahem.

Whether you're making breakfast, lunch or dinner, a zucchini and carrot omelet makes a great Gluten-free Friday meal!

Zucchini and carrot omelet

This is one easy dish to prepare! Not only that, but a zucchini and carrot omelet is full of protein, and it makes a great way to add veggies to a meal. Tucked away inside the omelet, zucchini and carrots add great taste, texture and flavor.

Note: Gluten can be found in many different foods and products, from ketchup to soy sauce to candy and seasonings. While SheKnows.com tries to ensure these recipes are gluten-free, carefully read the ingredient labels of all food and food products you use for these recipes to ensure they are also gluten-free.

Zucchini and carrot omelet recipe

Serves 2

Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs
  • 1/3 cup shredded green zucchini
  • 1/3 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/4 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, plus more for garnish

Directions:

  1. Add the eggs to a medium-sized bowl and beat well. Add in the salt, pepper and thyme and mix again.
  2. Add the zucchini, carrot, garlic and Parmesan cheese to the eggs and mix to incorporate.
  3. Add the olive oil to an 8-inch saute pan over medium-high heat.
  4. When the olive oil is hot, add the egg mixture to the pan so it spreads out evenly. Don't stir the mixture. Instead, let it stand for a minute so the bottom of the eggs begins to set.
  5. Use a rubber spatula to push the mixture around a bit, so all the liquid spreads out to the hot surface of the pan. Use the spatula to gently loosen the edges of the omelet so it doesn't stick.
  6. Allow the eggs to cook for 2-3 minutes, then use the spatula to carefully fold half the omelet over, onto itself. Wait a minute or so, then carefully slide the omelet onto a serving dish.
  7. Garnish with Parmesan cheese and more salt and pepper if you'd like. Serve warm.

Eggs are an exceptional addition to a Gluten-free Friday meal!

Snooki and JWoww aren't going anywhere

Just when you thought the coast was clear, Snooki and JWoww are back on MTV and dishing about their future aspirations.

SnookiJWowwSeason2

Just when you thought the wholeJersey Shore clan had cleared out of trending pop culture, they're back. Well, at least two of the cast members are.

Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi and Jenni "JWoww" Farley will be back on MTV in less than a week for Season 2 of their reality series Snooki & JWoww. The duo gave an inside look on their Jersey Shore spin-off when they stopped by Access Hollywood Live on Friday.

The season will include the birth of Snooki's baby Lorenzo with her fiancé, Jionni LaValle, but the scenes won't be too graphic for viewers.

Snooki said, "[The footage of his birth will be] over the shoulder, you see some stuff."

JWoww then chimed in with, "Never go below the curtain.”

With good advice like that, it seems that JWoww is clearly a pregnancy pro, but does she have the baby bug yet after hanging with her BFF's baby?

“A little bit, but I want to wait, maybe a year or so. I’ll babysit anytime… I just want to see how 2013 goes…," says JWoww.

Perhaps she would like to get married first, especially since she is already engaged to her bodybuilder boyfriend of two-and-a-half years, Roger Mathews?

However, there was no mention of a wedding from either reality star, but JWoww seems to have producing aspirations in her future.

I really want to get into producing,” shared the MTV star. “I want to produce TV shows.”

Her ideas for upcoming shows include a talk show for Snooki, a style show, a makeover show, and a show to help kids who are being bullied. With all of these creative ideas at hand, it seems like the duo plan on sticking around the reality show landscape for quite some time.

The Season 2 premiere of Snooki & JWoww airs on Jan. 8 on MTV.

Cougar Town gets naked for TBS

Cougar Town has a new attitude. Less is more -- or should we say -- less is funnier? Creator Bill Lawrence teases an upcoming episode where the stars strip down and bare all.

Cougar Town

Cougar Town's spicing things up for cable. This month, the former ABC comedy makes the leap to TBS. To get the word out, the show's cast and creator Bill Lawrence attended the winter Television Critics Association press tour. They gave journalists a sneak peek at the new season.

Cougar Town gets new season, new network>>

Cougar Town is filled with pop culture quirks. The characters are strange to say the least, and each episode usually has an odd theme. Even though they're off-kilter, the writers find a way to rope them into reality.

How will they keep that going in season four? Well, newlyweds Jules and Grayson want their marriage to stay fresh, so they decide to get naked.

“One day in trying to keep our marriage alive we have a naked day,” Cox says. “There happens to be only one spot in the whole house where I can stand and the light comes in at all angles; step out of it, disgusting.”

The idea for the episode was based on a real event. One of the show's writers tried it at home with their spouse. “It was sexy for about five minutes and then it was just two middle-aged people standing around naked,” Lawrence says.

Speaking of romance, the long-developing relationship between Travis and Laurie will continue to build. But according to EW, don't expect Philipps real-life pregnancy to be written into the show. Travis and Laurie aren't moving that fast.

Frank Ocean pulled over for pot possession? You'd better believe it! Post-incident, the R&B star took to Twitter to make a not-so-shocking confession.

Frank Ocean

Frank Ocean apparently has no plans to try and get out of his recent string of tickets. After being pulled over for speeding and marijuana possession, the R&B star took to Twitter to freely admit to both crimes!

On New Year's Eve, Frank Ocean was pulled over in Mono County, California, for speeding. According to TMZ, the 25-year-old was doing "roughly 90 in a 65."

When police officers approached his black BMW, they detected the smell of marijuana. One search of his belongings later, they turned up "a small bag of pot on his person."

The "Novacane" singer's license was confiscated immediately, and his passenger was then allowed to drive the vehicle away.

For a few days, Frank Ocean remained mum on the drama that occurred after he was pulled over Jan. 3. Later, he tweeted this gem: "hi guys, i smoke pot. ok guys, bye."

He then went on to explain, "hi guys, i drive a m3. that b***h fast..ok guys, bye. :)"

Are we all clear on that then? Frank Ocean guilty of speeding, and guilty of pot possession in the closing hours of 2012 by his own admission.

After tweeting, "i slept thru the countdown," Ocean looked to the year to come, noting, "2013 sounds very futuristic."

Get ready for Shawty Lo's All My Babies' Mamas, Oxygen's new reality show that follows Shawty Lo Walker and his 11 kids with 10 different women.

Video preview: Meet Shawty Lo and the cast of All My Babies Mamas

This is really happening: Oxygen is set to release a new reality show called All My Babies' Mamas this spring. Yep, you read that correctly: All My Babies' Mamas. The show follows Carlos "Shawty Lo" Walker, who lives in Atlanta, Georgia, with his 10 baby mamas — that is, women who had children with Shawty Lo outside of marriage. Some versions of the term define "baby mama" as a woman who has children with a barely- or mostly-absent father. But, based on the preview of Oxygen's All My Babies' Mamas, it looks like all 10 of Shawty Lo's "babies' mamas" and their 11 children live together.

In Oxygen's preview for All My Babies' Mamas,we see Shawty Lo introduce himself as a major hip-hop rapper and producer. Lo says, "A lot of people might have heard of me from the beef I had with T.I. but the beef is over." . The preview then switches to one of Shawty Lo's baby mamas, E'creia, known as "The First Lady"— because she is the "baby mama with the most power"— due to her "control of all of Shawty Lo's finances."

E'creia takes it upon herself to describe the other baby mamas that live in the house. For example, Angela is "The Fighter Baby Mama", and Amanda is "The Jealous Baby Mama." E'creia goes through all 10 women and labels them as such. Also, Lo has a 19-year-old girlfriend named Ashlin who is the same age as some of his oldest children.

Check out the preview for Oxygen's All My Babies' Mamas below — the footage starts at the one minute mark. We also included a review from the YouTube user, which we think is a pretty good representation of public opinion about All My Babies' Mamas.

Paula Deen's diet: Will her plan work for you, too?

Paula Deen's diet plan is a hot commodity these days. After the TV chef dropped 36-pounds, many want to know if her new way of eating will work for them as well!

Paula Deen

Paula Deen's diet has been a smashing success. Shortly after going public with her controversial diabetes diagnosis, the television chef made moderation her now motto — and shed 36 pounds from her frame!

One year after losing the weight and successfully keeping all of it off, the 65-year-old says that it's not only what she eats that is important, but why she eats.

"Putting my fork down and having a conversation has been a huge help,"Paula Deen explained to Woman's Day.

Why does taking the time to talk help? She added, "Because it takes 20 minutes for your stomach to tell your brain that you’re full.”

Who's hungry? Paula Deen slings 25,000 pounds of ham>>

It's important to note that Paula Deen's diet success has been more about small lifestyle changes than following any particular diet plan.

"It's amazing how little changes will give you big results," she said, sharing that she now has a small sliver of cake and fried chicken monthly instead of weekly.

Rather than count calories, Paula Deen has taken to portion control through eyeballing her plate. The goal dinner, lets say, is a fistful each of meat and starch on your plate, while the other half of the plate is devoted to vegetables.

Another rule of thumb she's developed? Don't bother eating what you don't like.

"In my refrigerator, there's no light mayonnaise," Deen admitted. "I'd rather eat less of the real thing and have it taste really good than have diet stuff that tastes awful."

It's also important to note that the Food Network star has committed to regular exercise, though learning to love it was a bit of a struggle. She joked previously to People, "I heard that exercise is addictive. So far, it's not like cigarettes."

All in all, Paula Deen's diet sounds rather doable, don't you think?
