How you can transform your home into the Millennium Falcon

$

If you're the kind of person who went to The Force Awakens and then came home, brushing aside a tear as you peeled off your Chewbacca costume and returned to your civilian clothes, then the latest trend in home decor may just be for you. From Han Solo toilet seats to Millennium Falcon beds, there are plenty of ways you can transform your home into the Star Wars-inspired spaceship of your dreams.

Millennium Falcon bed

Who wants a regular bed when you could have a Star Wars bed? Kids with parents willing to cash out $3,999 on their very own bed à la Han Solo can sleep soundly in this heavy-duty contraption, which even comes equipped with its own control panel in case you need to make a quick getaway from the Brotherhood of Darkness in the middle of the night. The rest of us may be light years away from owning something this cool (or simply too long for the child-size bed, sigh), but no one can stop us from dreaming.

Star Wars house

Why stop at a bed? Why not go the whole nine yards and build an entire Star Wars-themed house? That's just what Korean architect Moon Hoon did. The irregularly shaped house is loosely inspired by the Star Wars trilogy, with a top floor that Hoon tells Design Boom is "a place high up that could be a control room for the future Darth Vader or a Jedi"or a future Princess Leia.

Decorative light sabers

OK, so maybe the $4,000 child's bed and the house are just a little too impractical, or your significant other just doesn't share your addiction to all things Star Wars. You may want to take a little more subtle route when incorporating The Force into your home renovations. If that's the case, you may want to whimsically install some light sabers (which you can grab at places like Target) in your home to create an unusual modern lighting installation.

And you'd be amiss to neglect the bathroom. Luckily for you, you can purchase a one-of-a-kind Han Solo-inspired toilet seat on eBay. As an added perk, a Star Wars-themed toilet seat may just inspire the men in your life to put the seat down.

7 Controversial holiday TV episodes

1. ALF's "ALF's Special Christmas" (1987)

If you're in the mood for something warm and fuzzy, don't let ALF's furry exterior fool you — this cat-craving alien's 1987 Christmas special was anything but. We recommended watching with a stiff glass of eggnog, 'cause you'll need it. Let us put it this way: one of the special's main characters is a man named Mr. Foley, who is in such a depression following the loss of his wife that he actually plans to kill himself. In fact, he almost does just that by jumping off a bridge. Bleak, right? There's more, including an 8-year-old girl in the hospital dying from a terminal illness. Even fans of this sarcastic extraterrestrial were shocked by how disheartening the special was.

2. South Park's "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo" (1997)

South Park
Image: Billy Chilly 5/YouTube

Presumably, the title of the episode gives you a pretty good indication as to why this holiday episode was one of South Park's most controversial. Granted, viewers expect an edgy show like South Park to push the boundaries of what's appropriate. And while fans of the show do consider it a classic, there were other groups who caught wind of it (*giggle*) and were none too pleased with the idea of a walking, talking, singing lump of feces wearing a Santa hat. Even the show's co-creator, Matt Stone, admits "Mr. Hankey, the Christmas Poo" was initially jarring for viewers, saying at first even fans were horrified by the holiday stool. When the oldest private entertainment channel in Russia aired the episode, a Russian Pentecostal organization called for the Russian government to revoke the channel's broadcast license because they found Mr. Hankey so offensive.

3. Glee's "Previously Unaired Christmas" (2012)

Glee
Image: Television Promos/YouTube

In Season 5 of Glee, "Previously Unaired Christmas" was the series' final episode before the winter hiatus — and it was actually the holiday episode that was supposed to have aired the prior December. In an introductory clip to the episode, Jane Lynch (who played Sue) breaks the fourth wall by directly speaking to the audience about why the episode was originally canned. "In October 2012, on the Paramount sound stages, the cast and crew filmed a Christmas episode entitled 'Rough Trade Santa,'" Lynch said. "Upon viewing the director's cut, Fox executives recoiled in horror and then locked the episode in a lead vault, where it languished for an entire year." She went on to explain the network decided to air the episode after much public outcry, but only with substantial edits made to ensure it would be viewed as "less controversial."

4. Star Trek's "A Most Illogical Holiday" (1968)

Star Trek
Image: Trekfreek/YouTube

If you caught this episode on TV, consider yourself lucky. Although it was filmed during the series' run in the late '60s, "A Most Illogical Holiday" never made it to network TV. It did appear in syndication in 1975, but only once. When asked about the episode at 1978's IgunaCon II, Harlan Ellison (who is rumored to have written it) didn't disguise his disdain, describing the special as "a quiescently glistening cherem of pus." There simply isn't enough space here to go into the inexplicably strange aspects of Star Trek's holiday episode, but suffice it to say it involves Mr. Spock as a messiah; a murderous Santa; a tyrannical mastermind computer; and Romulan Ale eggnog, naturally. One popular fan theory insists that writer and producer Gene Roddenberry personally destroyed the episode to prevent it from airing.

5. Top Gear's "Patagonia Special" (2014)

Top Gear

BBC's Top Gear host Jeremy Clarkson rounded out a year filled with controversy with the flagship car program's Dec. 27, 2014 episode. In the special, he appeared to mock criticism he received earlier in the season for using the derogatory term "slope" in reference to an Asian person. At the time, Clarkson commented of a man walking over a bridge in Burma, "That is a proud moment, but there's a slope on it." The backlash was intense for the television host, but it didn't deter him from joking about it on the Christmas special — looking out over a bridge in Patagonia, Clarkson quips, "That is a proud moment, Hammond, but is it straight?" Clarkson was further criticized for another perceived slight that took place during the Christmas episode. When it was discovered that the license plate on Clarkson's Porsche read "H982 FKL," locals in Argentina believed Clarkson was making a deliberate reference to the 1982 Falklands War (between Argentina and the U.K.). The locals became so enraged, in fact, the crew had to flee under police protection.

6. Dragnet's "The Big .22 Rifle for Christmas" (1952)

Dragnet
Image: I Want Moore Retro/YouTube

In what is widely considered the most controversial episode ever of this classic series, Sgt. Friday (Jack Webb) and his partner investigate the disappearance of a young boy. After finding blood in the backyard and a cartridge from a rifle, the truth tragically emerges — the boy, Stevie Martin, was accidentally killed by his best friend, Stanley Johnstone, when the boys were playing with a .22 rifle Stanley's father bought him for Christmas. When the episode originally ran in radio format in 1949, it became the target of an intense letter-writing campaign from the National Rifle Association. However, it proved so popular that it ended up running for three holiday seasons on the radio before being turned into the TV episode.

7. Family Guy's "The 2000-Year-Old Virgin" (2014)

Family Guy
Image: Best Media/YouTube

Much like South Park, viewers expect the animated series Family Guy to generate some controversy. But not everyone appreciated the show's brand of humor in 2014 when — to borrow NewsBusters' summation — they went "above and beyond the usual sacrilege." In a Christmas episode titled "The 2000-Year-Old Virgin," character Peter Griffin and his pals try to help Jesus Christ lose his virginity by throwing him a birthday party (aka Christmas) he'll never forget. At one point, Griffin offers up his own wife, Lois, in exchange for a massage chair. However, upon learning Jesus is a sex-crazed liar, he retracts the offer. Christians were obviously not amused.

No, not every mom can 'just homeschool them'

$

The best example I can give on the importance of an education in education is from my own experience. During my freshman year of high school, my family moved twice, I was bored out of my mind in regular-level classes and I had a case of stage fright so bad I couldn't stand up and recite lines from Romeo and Juliet.

More: Why unschooling is the next wave of home-based education for kids

My teacher didn't care that I was shy. She flunked me. The following year, I was put into remedial classes, and it was that teacher who quickly realized my potential. She stood up to both the guidance counselor and principal to get me in the honors class where I belonged. How did she know? Because she went to college to become an educator. She was trained to recognize potential and to work with students' needs and various ways of learning.

I know what you're thinking and, yes, of course my parents also recognized my potential. Where they couldn't help, though, was in pushing me out of my comfort zone. Even as teenagers, we understand the importance of not letting anyone down. If a relative stranger goes out of her way to get you in the class you need to be in, you can't screw off and mess it up. You have to prove she was right. Like it or not: Most kids have an easier time letting their parents down than they do letting strangers down.

More: 25 Out-of-this-galaxy 'Star Wars' gifts for kids

So when people suggest that "anyone" can homeschool their children, I have to say no. Not just anyone can homeschool. I can't.

I don't want to be the only person my kids have to be accountable to.

Nor do I want to walk the fine line between being a hard-assed teacher and being the one who lets them off easy and lets them stay safely behind their desks just because I know they're shy. I want to encourage them in everything they do. But, at the end of the day, I want a school to back me up and offer them a much bigger and more diverse support system.

Then, of course, there's the issue of my being a complete idiot. Journalism and creative writing are my wheelhouse. I know that I could properly teach someone how to construct a decent sentence. My head is full to the brim of creative writing prompts just waiting to be assigned. I want to encourage someone the way I was encouraged. I do not, however, want to try to teach my kid how to divide fractions or explain why (here's a throwback to my favorite teacher, Mr. Sciacca) the Holy Roman Empire "wasn't holy, wasn't Roman, and wasn't an empire." I didn't go to college for that. I don't fancy myself an expert on those things. I should not be responsible for teaching them to an impressionable child.

I know the counter-argument.

Most homeschoolers work in co-ops. One parent might excel in English, while another is all about numbers. And that's better than nothing, I guess. But, why are they good at numbers? Did they major in math? And is that enough? Having known several friends who went through school to become teachers, I know there's so much more to education than just knowing the subject you teach. It's about knowing how to educate, too. Can you recognize a learning disorder based on a misspelled word? Can you redirect your style of teaching if your son or daughter isn't connecting with the material from reading it in the books?

More: Dad gives school a hilarious lesson in Common Core math

Props to the moms out there giving it a go. Yes, the world is full of crazy people. Yes, especially after Sandy Hook, I was suddenly more aware that even our tiniest Americans aren't safe. No, I definitely don't think Common Core was the answer America needed to raise kids smart enough to compete in the global markets. I firmly believe our education system is in desperate need of an overhaul. I'm just not sure that, you know, I could do any better on my own. So, my kids will go to school. They'll be taught (mostly) by caring individuals. They'll learn from experts in not only subjects they're being taught but education on a whole. And when they come home, I'll sit at the dining room table and do my job: Cry with them while we try to understand fractions.

Tina Fey shouldn't apologize for 'racist' jokes in Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt

On top of being attacked for allegedly playing into gay stereotypes, Fey's show, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, also came under social media fire for being racist after it was revealed Jane Krakowski's rich, superficial character, Jacqueline Voorhees, is Native American, but plays up her white features because she feels it will get her further in life.

Unlike many celebs who have bowed to the outrage of the Internet, Fey isn't backing down and is refusing to make excuses for her art.

More: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt just gave us the best mixed-race relationship on TV

"We did an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt episode and the Internet was in a whirlwind, calling it ‘racist,’ but my new goal is not to explain jokes. I feel like we put so much effort into writing and crafting everything, they need to speak for themselves," Fey said in a recent interview with Net-a-Porter.

She continued, “There’s a real culture of demanding apologies, and I’m opting out of that."

Here's where Fey has a good point. She and her group of writers know what they are doing. They carefully craft jokes, only for them to be taken out of context, picked apart, then condemned as racist or homophobic on Twitter. Either that or some viewers simply don't understand the joke and still want to cause a ruckus about something.

If celebs, and our culture as a whole, continue to bow down and apologize every time someone deems something offensive and it catches fire on the Internet, comedians and writers will be afraid to take calculated risks and entertainment as we know it will disappear.

That's not to say celebrities should never apologize. There have been stars who have done and said things that were completely out of line. I just don't feel Fey is one of them.

Does she owe a small group of people an apology for the Jacqueline story line? Maybe. Does everyone with an Internet connection deserve to weigh in and demand an apology so that they can get a bit of recognition on the Web? Nope. If Fey doesn't feel the need to apologize, she doesn't have to. If viewers don't like her brand of humor, then they don't have to consume her material. And if her material is seriously offensive enough that large groups of people feel offended and boycott her shows, then she will drop out of the mainstream. Not that I see that happening here.

So where is the outrage even coming from? Comedian and expert podcaster, Joe Rogan, has deemed the new wave of ultra-PC Internet users who love to jump in on what's hot in social movements "Social Justice Warriors." Basically, Social Justice Warriors are people looking to be offended for the sake of being offended — and to get a reaction.

(Side note: If you've never checked out Rogan's podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience, I highly recommend it).

Admittedly, I've found myself falling victim to this PC kind of thinking. I previously explored my initial reaction to the trailer for Amy Schumer and Judd Apatow's Trainwreck being anti-feminist, and how I slapped myself back into reality, stepped away from Twitter and came to the realization that I was creating a false dialogue in my mind about a type of comedy that I do actually find entertaining.

I could probably even be accused of being anti-feminist for saying that I slapped myself, being that I am a woman and all — that's how out of hand things have gotten in our media culture — but if we continue to analyze the shit out of everything, comedy is going to become extinct. And that's not something I want any part of.

The real tragedy in all of this is that it's taking away from causes that really do deserve attention. Shouldn't we save our being offended card for something that's really worth being offended about?

Social Justice Warrior Internet activism should be ignored, and ignoring it is, in essence, what Fey is doing. In fact, I almost feel like I shouldn't be giving it credence by writing this article. Yet, here we are.

Jessa Duggar's husband reveals what went down during her birth

When Jessa gave birth to their first child, Spurgeon, she was in labor for 48 hours before she finally delivered her son at home. In the promo clip from Jill & Jessa: Counting On, we see a home video by Michelle Duggar, who was closely following behind while Jessa endured what appear to be very painful labor pains. Through the entire video, her husband, Ben, is close by. He appears to be so supportive, being a literal shoulder for her to lean on during her contractions.

“She was in pain,” he shares in the video. “So I was feeling the pain, too. It was pretty difficult.”

While it isn’t all that common, some men do experience sympathy symptoms in reaction to their partner's pregnancy. The technical name for this experience is Couvade syndrome, and could include weight gain, nausea, heartburn, insomnia and hormone change — ya know, normal pregnancy stuff. In some cases, partners even experience labor pains alongside the expectant mom.

The question that is still being debated is just how real Couvade syndrome is. So far, there isn’t enough research to suggest it is anything but a figment of the father’s imagination. So it's no surprise some moms are unconvinced that dad is feeling the pain along with her.

That said, it's nice to see dads who are a supportive partner through the difficult labor and delivery.

Two solid days of painful contractions would be a really trying experience for any couple, but it might be even more difficult for a newly married couple who has never experienced childbirth before. When the mom-to-be has a supportive partner nearby who is able to stay in-tune to her needs, labor becomes a little bit more bearable.

We are sure that Jessa was so grateful for Ben's love and support throughout her labor. If his faithfulness and support during labor is any indication, we are sure he will make a great dad to Spurgeon, who is now 6 weeks old.

More: Leah Messer reportedly caught lying about living with secret boyfriend (PHOTO)

New reports have surfaced saying that Messer is getting back together with her ex, Jeremy Calvert, after their June divorce on the grounds of mutual unfaithfulness.

"They really missed each other," an insider told In Touch. "They recently started hanging out again an awful lot, and they ended up getting really close.

"It was clear that they're back on — they were acting like a happy family," the insider, who spotted the pair at a choir concert where Messer's daughter Ali (with ex-husband No. 1 Corey Simms) was performing in early December. "Leah is known to make impulsive decisions, but everyone is crossing their fingers that they can make it work this time."

But other sources say this rumor is just that — a rumor — and it could not be further from the truth.

"Jeremy was shocked by the story, because it couldn't be further from the truth," a source close to Calvert told Radar Online. "He and Leah are definitely not together, and haven't been since the divorce."

More: Teen Mom's Corey and Miranda don't think Leah Messer can change

As for the concert, the insider said Calvert was just being a good dad.

"Addie wanted to watch her sister, so of course Jeremy went and hung out for a while afterwards," the source clarified.

But regardless of their romantic status, Messer and Calvert are at least learning to play nice for their daughter's sake — with a little help from the producers of Teen Mom 2.

"Producers organized a dinner for Leah and Jeremy to talk about co-parenting and their plans for Addie's future," said the insider.

It's just as well for both of them. Messer has her own struggles right now and her focus should be on maintaining her sobriety and getting herself back to a healthy place where she can be with her daughters again.

Tina Fey needs to take responsibility for offending people with racial jokes

More: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt: 13 Things about Tina Fey's Netflix show

In a recent interview with Net-a-Porter, Fey opened up about some of the criticism she received after the first season of Kimmy Schmidt premiered on Netflix last spring. Fey's takeaway from the criticism? Ignore it and don't offer any explanation or apology.

"Steer clear of the Internet and you’ll live forever," said Fey. "We did an Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt episode and the Internet was in a whirlwind, calling it ‘racist,’ but my new goal is not to explain jokes. I feel like we put so much effort into writing and crafting everything, they need to speak for themselves. There’s a real culture of demanding apologies, and I’m opting out of that."

Fey doesn't specify in the interview the story line or episode to which she's referring; some might read it as a comment about Jane Krakowski's portrayal of Jacqueline/Jackie Lynn, a white-presenting Native American woman; others might assume that she's referring to the stereotypical portrayal of Dong, the Vietnamese immigrant with whom Kimmy falls in love. The fact that she could be referring to either is indeed part of the problem — for all the show's strengths, the portrayal of racial identity has routinely been one of Kimmy Schmidt's weak spots.

Not that any of us expect a sitcom or its showrunner to be perfect. Every single one of my favorite shows has run into issues of representation at one point or another, and rarely is that reason enough for me to swear off an entire series or body of work. I'm troubled, for example, by the fact that a cisgender man was cast as a trans woman in the leading role on Transparent; this doesn't mean, however, that I do not appreciate the beauty with which the sexual identities of women (trans and cis alike) are portrayed on that show. Perfection is hard to come by in art, and I'm not convinced that it's worth striving for.

More: Ellen DeGeneres' parody of Nicki Minaj merits an apology, at the very least

That said, when a problem is brought to the attention of a showrunner, "opting out" of accountability isn't really an option. Just as artists don't owe their fans or viewers an explanation for their choices, fans don't owe artists unwavering approval and acceptance. The fact that social media, blogging, and online journalism and media criticism has made it easier for the masses to communicate feedback to the artists they admire is really only a positive thing. Artists can pick and choose what feedback they act on, but at least they know how people are responding to their work. And when enough people respond critically to a plot point or characterization, it's worthy of examination.

It's possible that Fey truly doesn't understand why people are bothered by the portrayals of Jacqueline and Dong on Kimmy Schmidt. But if she were to read the "whirlwind" on the Internet to which she refers, it probably wouldn't be such a mystery. Why, then, is it so important to her to not apologize for hurting her fans with racially problematic portrayals? An apology doesn't mean that her creative vision is irrelevant or meaningless. All it means is that she is exhibiting compassion and thoughtfulness when producing work for a diverse fan base.

Already, some are seeing Fey's remark (and the remarks of those who are defending her) as a result of unexamined privilege, rather than as a bold act of defiance in the face of censorship or political correctness.

Roxane Gay tweet

Roxane Gay tweet

I tend to agree with Gay. Fey's powerful position in the entertainment industry ensures that she will be able to produce the kind of art that she wants to make for years to come. Certainly, even the most powerful women in Hollywood do not have it easy, and the challenges that Kimmy Schmidt underwent before making it to air on Netflix suggest that Fey is not immune to sexism or glass ceilings in the industry. But she is still a a writer and a producer with an enormous fan base and name recognition. She has power and she's not at risk of being censored. And when she uses her power to shut down those who admit to feeling hurt by her work, she upholds the status quo rather than changing it.

More: Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt just gave us the best mixed-race relationship on TV

My feelings on the first season of Kimmy Schmidt were mixed, but I'm looking forward to the second season. I'd like to see how Kimmy develops as a character. I'd like to see the continuation of Titus Andromedon, arguably the character of color who Fey handled the best in the Season 1. And I also want to see if — even if she refuses to apologize — Fey has decided to take any of the racial criticism seriously and reconsider her choices. If she doesn't, I'm not likely to stick around for Season 3.

Johnny Depp's newest title is probably not the Christmas gift he was hoping for

$

What a lump of coal! According to Forbes, Johnny Depp is officially Hollywood's most overpaid actor of 2015.

The success of the four Pirates of the Caribbean films allowed him to command top dollar salary-wise, but his 2015 movies, Mortdecai and Transcendence, bombed at the box office. Depp made the studio $1.20 for every $1 he was paid. This was bad enough to unseat Adam Sandler, who held the title for 2013 and 2014.

More: Disney boss made huge homophobic allegations against Johnny Depp

But don't feel too bad for Depp. He still got paid very well and could laugh his way to the bank. He'll be just fine on Christmas morning.

Following him on the list are nine other men, including Denzel Washington ($6.50/$1), Will Ferrell ($6.80/$1), Liam Neeson ($7.80/$1), Will Smith ($8.60/$1), Christian Bale ($9.20/$1), Channing Tatum ($10.80), Brad Pitt ($12/$1), Ben Affleck ($12.80/$1) and Tom Cruise ($13.60/$1).

More: Johnny Depp reprises his role as Jack Sparrow for the best cause ever

The BBC did a nice comparison of the actors who provided the most value — or the most undervalued actors. Chris Evans tops the list with $181.80 for every $1 paid.

Following him are Mila Kunis ($87.30/$1), Scarlett Johansson ($84.90/$1), Gwyneth Paltrow ($82.90/$1), Emma Stone ($54/$1), Chris Hemsworth ($42.10/$1), Vin Diesel ($40.30/$1), Jennifer Lawrence ($39.10/$1), Mark Wahlberg ($37.90/$1) and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson ($28.10/$1).

If anyone wanted to argue with Jennifer Lawrence's Lenny essay about the gender pay gap, here's further proof that she was onto something. Zero out of the 10 overpaid actors are women. Five out of 10 of the most undervalued actors are women. They are delivering far more value than they are receiving in pay. I want to scream "Yes!" when I see these talented women delivering so much value. But it also means they're not seeing it in their paychecks. For that, I scream "Nooooooooooo!"

More: Powerful quotes from Jennifer Lawrence's essay on Hollywood sexism

The overpaid male actors are all major movie stars, but so are Reese Witherspoon, Julia Roberts and Angelina Jolie. They must deliver more value than their better-paid male counterparts. Or their agents need to negotiate better.

It may seem weird, but I can't wait to see a woman on top of the most overpaid list. It'll finally be a sign that the gender pay disparity is over or, at the very least, declining.

Khloé Kardashian says a dairy-free diet helped her lose weight

$

"I'm obsessed with cheese and milk, but eliminating them from my diet made the biggest difference," she told New Beauty magazine in a cover interview. "In a month and a half, I lost 11 pounds just from not eating dairy, without doing anything else different, and that totally blew my mind."

More: How changing my mindset helped me lose weight

But how?

A meta-analysis of 30 studies published in the Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that the results don't “support the beneficial effect of increasing dairy consumption on body weight and fat loss in long-term studies or studies without energy restriction" — meaning that consuming dairy can't necessarily be linked to weight loss, but it doesn't explain why some people experience weight loss by eliminating it from their diets.

There are a lot of anecdotal stories on the Web that point to a dairy-free diet as the reason for weight loss — and it's entirely possible, given that about 50 million Americans are lactose-intolerant. Those with intolerances for lactose lack the enzymes needed to break it down, so bacteria takes over and causes bloating, gas and inflammation in the gut. If that's you, you'll notice less bloating after going dairy free, which can mean dropping a few pounds. But it also could be that giving up dairy means eating fewer calories in general. Consume fewer calories than you need and weight loss will happen.

More: British Dietetic Association criticises diet plans endorsed by celebrities

"If you're cutting out ice cream and cheese, you may eat fewer calories, so you could lose weight," Susan Bowerman, Director of Nutrition Training at Herbalife, International, told Allure. "It depends on what you eat instead of dairy products. Milk alternatives like almond and soy milk are only slightly lower in calories — and milk contains important nutrients, like calcium and vitamin D. If you remove dairy from your diet, you need to eat plenty of leafy greens and possibly take a D supplement to make up for it."

So while Khloé might have lost weight from ditching dairy, it's not guaranteed that you'll drop weight from doing the same.

Is David Foster's wandering eye the reason he and Yolanda Foster are divorcing?

$

David and Yolanda Foster's rapidly disintegrating marriage was a hot topic during tonight's episode of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, with a significant portion of the show dedicated to a discussion of the many issues in their relationship. Although Yolanda claimed that her reduced activity level was largely responsible for the extra tension between her and her husband, fans of the show think that another factor may have come into play: David's wandering eye.

David has been accused of being overly flirtatious on multiple occasions, but tonight, fans of RHOBH caught him in the act. While meeting with good friend and suspected crush Erika Jayne, David seemed very, very interested in being more than just friends. His flirtation was returned by Erika, who, although always flirty, was especially so during tonight's episode. However, while Erika may actually be interested in David as a romantic partner, most fans suspect that she merely sees him as a means to an end. He is very established in the the music industry and Erika is looking to take her career to the next level.

After witnessing David and Erika's flirtation on RHOBH, many viewers speculated as to whether the new Housewife could be the real force behind David and Yolanda's recent split. Did Yolanda finally get fed up with David's wandering eye? The explanations she offered in the immediate aftermath of her separation did not reference David's penchant for flirting with other women, but she did claim that he was not nearly as supportive as he should have have been. Twitter users largely agree with Yolanda, but they're not willing to discount the increasingly popular David and Erika theory.

As Twitter users pointed out, David has already been married four times. Could Erika be the next in line for the title of Mrs. Foster? At surface level, she seems reasonably happy with her current marriage — but her critics aren't convinced that the relationship is as strong as she claims. HBO's The Jinx might bring serial killer to justice

Look out, Los Angeles; Robert Durst is coming. Luckily for us Angelenos, he'll be escorted (hopefully in shackles) by law enforcement to face murder charges for the 2000 shooting of his friend, Susan Berman. According to People, the Los Angeles County district attorney's office said that Durst agreed to be extradited from Louisiana by Aug. 18, 2016. It's all thanks to HBO's The Jinx: The Life and Deaths of Robert Durst.

Berman, a Las Vegas mobster's daughter and Hollywood filmmaker, was shot in the back of the head on or around Dec. 23, 2000. The Jinx examined the circumstances of this murder, as well as that of former Durst neighbor Morris Black and the disappearance of Durst's first wife, Kathleen Durst. The docuseries exposed key evidence in the Berman case and a confession from Durst that he "killed them all, of course."

More: 5 Facts about The Jinx that make it truly terrifying to watch

Just one day after the show's finale, the Los Angeles Police Department issued an arrest warrant for Durst. He was found in New Orleans with a latex mask, a loaded revolver, marijuana, a fake ID and nearly $43,000. He's still in New Orleans facing a federal charge for the gun, but he's expected to reach a plea deal and be sentenced to federal prison before returning to Los Angeles.

In October, Durst's attorney, Dick DeGuerin, told People that his client was eager for the trial in California. "He is ready for the fight. He has come to realize that this is finally his opportunity to clear his name — at trial, with fair rules, in a court that will require hard evidence."

More: 10 Ways moms are like serial killers

I think it's safe to say they'll have hard evidence. There's the "Beverley Hills Police" letter informing police that there was a cadaver at Berman's residence, which matches the handwriting on other letters written by Durst to Berman. There's also his confession on The Jinx, not to mention the guy was just arrested in New Orleans with a fugitive serial killer tool kit.

Here's hoping he finally gets the justice he deserves.

6 Reasons why the Kate Plus 8 Mady hate is unacceptable

More: Kate Gosselin is on a manhunt

Kate
Image: TLC

On Tuesday's new episode of Kate Plus 8, the Gosselin kids were once again scheduled like nobody's business. (I have no idea how you'd survive eight kids without constant planning, but still, it's remarkable how much Kate finds for them to do. Her Pinterest life must be nuts.) They visited a little horse farm and had a cooking contest, and Kate took Mady and Cara antiquing. Mady had one of best lines of the night when she said, "You only see her on our show for an hour, but we have to deal with her all day." Hilarious, right? I mean, I think so, but Twitter fans have not been about Mady's attitude this season and haven't been shy about saying so.

Look, I get it, teenagers are annoying, but there are some really compelling reasons to leave Mady alone.

1. She's on TV

Imagine, for one moment, that you're a teenager and someone, no, multiple someones are following you around with video cameras and they've been doing it for years, and between that and your mom's rules, how are you supposed to get any decent teenage rebellion in? Your parents got divorced and your personal family drama was all over the covers of tabloids. And your mom is totally cool with it. In fact, she keeps trying to get on TV. All while you ascend the ladder of awkwardness that is teenage-dom.

2. She's 15

I can't emphasize this enough, not just because 15-year-olds are often full of attitude. Fifteen-year-old girls with opinions and spunk need support, not derision. How about if we read Mady as powerful and unique and funny? By saying she should be put in her place, fans are reinforcing the message that teenage girls get all the time — young women learn that they shouldn't speak up and they're more valuable as followers than leaders.

More: Are Kate Gosselin's television days over? Don't bet on it

3. She has 7 siblings

Being one the oldest kids in a big family means you probably spend a lot of time trying to be noticed, not to mention the fact that you're the oldest and need to take on the most responsibility. Asserting herself among her eight siblings is more than a little challenging. Plus, she's a twin, which means she's had to differentiate herself from her sister literally since birth.

4. Kate and Jon Gosselin are her parents

Besides the fact that most 15-year-olds are embarrassed by/frustrated with/rebelling in some way against their parents, imagine that your mom and dad are constantly being written about in the press — your mom for her parenting, her romantic relationships, her Botox, and your dad for money issues, cheating and yelling about your mom a lot. Maybe you'd like them both to be a little more... normal?

5. Trusting people is probably already an issue

It's likely that Mady is already figuring out that people often want to talk to her because she's on TV, and friendships are precarious enough when you're a kid. She's old enough to know that there are some crappy people in the world, and while she's always been a sassy kid, she's going to have to develop a thick skin if she wants to get out of the reality TV world with some semblance of normalcy intact.

6. I don't know, were you ever a kid?

Can you imagine being a Gosselin kid? Having to go to school with the general population? And on top of the treachery that is being a teen, everyone knows things about your family? Everything awkward and ridiculous that happens to you anyway gets magnified and people are talking about your stinky attitude on the Internet? Ugh. Empathy, people.

More: Jennifer Lawrence reveals why she had to get wasted to film with Chris Pratt

As far as Chris Pratt, Ciara and Russell Wilson are concerned, it's giving back to the community.

The three stars joined forces this week to pay a special visit to the patients at the Seattle Children's Hospital and the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic, where they posed with kids for photos, greeted fans and delivered boxes of Christmas gifts.

"Hanging out with our friend @prattprattpratt," the hospital wrote on Twitter on an adorable photo of Pratt hanging out with a young cancer patient and a toy Groot, a character from his film Guardians of the Galaxy. "Thanks for being #StrongAgainstCancer!"

Along with a Bible verse, Pratt also asked his followers to "say a prayer for all those kids who don't get to be at home for Xmas."

Pratt is well known for visiting children's hospitals across the country, and Wilson is a weekly visitor at the Seattle Children's hospital. In a partnership with Amazon, he was able to deliver gifts, including Kindles, to each of the hospital's 3,000 patients.

"Thanks @Amazon for the @AmazonKindle for All 300 patients in @SeattleChildrens today from @Ciara & I," Wilson wrote on Instagram.

Mum becomes a porn star to buy her son's Christmas presents

More: What everyday men and women really think of porn

One young mum made what most people would consider to be a rather extreme career choice in order to buy everything on her son’s Christmas list. Megan Clara, 20, has spent the last 12 months making porn films — earning £500 a scene — to ensure 5-year-old Ashton isn’t left disappointed.

Single mother Megan from Portsmouth, Hampshire, said, “Last Christmas I could barely scrape any money together. It was really tough and I couldn’t help but worry Ashton was going to be left out and disappointed.”

Before getting involved in the adult film business, Megan survived on £80 a week. For Christmas 2014, she spent £100 on Ashton’s presents, including an Etch A Sketch, a pirate game, a cuddly toy, a fancy dress costume, clothes and chocolate.

This year, Ashton’s pressies budget has soared to a whopping £1500, and the little boy will be waking up on Christmas morning to a bike, Toy Story action figures, Converse, Lego sets, room decorations, clothes and various other toys, chocolate and sweets.

More: This woman's porn addiction almost ruined her life

“My son has always been high maintenance and never seemed happy with the Christmas presents I could afford,” said Megan. “He has always wanted what his friends had but I didn’t have the spare cash for expensive toys.”

She admits she experiences a negative reaction from other people due to her chosen career, but describes them as “jealous”.

“I do glamour modelling and sex films — I enjoy what I do and I’m not hurting anyone else. Some people are just jealous. I can spend my money how I like too; I don’t spend it on alcohol, drugs or smoking — why shouldn’t I spend it on Ashton and myself?”

This may not be a story many parents can relate to. Getting involved in the porn industry probably isn’t something the average person would consider as a way to cover those hefty festive expenses. But what most, if not all, parents can relate to is the ever-increasing pressure to give our children everything they want, from the priciest Lego set to the latest must-have gadget.

To me, spending £1,500 on a 5-year-old's Christmas list is more of a talking point than a woman turning to porn to earn money.

Yolanda Foster responds to Lisa Rinna's ugly accusations

After a conversation between Lisa Rinna, Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump was shown on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills in which the women cattily debated the veracity of Foster's claims of having debilitating Lyme disease — including an accusation by Rinna that Foster may actually suffer from Munchausen syndrome — Foster fired back hard.

Pretty much straight-up calling Rinna uncaring and spiteful, she spoke about the comments on her Bravo blog today in unwavering terms.

More: David Foster makes a devastating accusation about Yolanda Foster's health

"She's only human and it takes a compassionate and confident woman to hold ground under social pressure — it's so much easier to take the common road and get on board the train of the misinformed and the doubtful. The negative," Foster wrote. "Few people have the ability to stay firm when they're not educated or spiritually centered and not feed into the negativity otherwise known as gossip. I don't blame Rinna, Kyle or LVDP — I understand it and feel sorry to see my battle be such a point of weakness for them. If I let fear of what others say about me creep into my mind, I probably would not be where I am today.

"I am inspired by my life on a day-to-day basis and consciously avoid stressful situations by walking away and letting go of remarks from people like the women in this group, but it seems in today's world your word isn't good enough anymore so even though I should not have to prove my case, I'm not afraid to do so," Foster continued. "I will move on from the absurd Munchausen comment that is an insult to my integrity and that of my two children who battle this disease on a daily basis."

Then she really dropped the hammer.

"My talents and creativity as a healthy human being when starting my journey as a [H]ousewife would have gotten me way further in life then [sic] lying in bed, debilitated, forced to find a cure for this lame disease as I watched life from the side lines [sic] these past four years… I'm probably the only Housewife in the entire franchise that uses this platform to bring awareness in the world rather than just [put] money in my pocket."

More: RHOBH's Yolanda Foster makes an emotional pledge to her children

Rinna addressed the scene on her own Bravo blog, and for her part, she did at least seem sorry for the accusation.

"I am no doctor and I don't claim to be a doctor, nor do I want to give anyone a diagnosis," Rinna wrote. "The word Munchausen was brought to me by my friend that these girls do not personally know, and I felt this was a safe place to bring it up. There I said it. I did. I own it.

"I don't feel good about it and I was very upset that I engaged in these conversations with others that are as naive as I am about Lyme [d]isease, but I did and I shared it with these women. I now know I need to tell Yolanda, as Eileen said, you need to talk to Yolanda about it, and I believe that to be true," she continued.

It remains to be seen if or when those peace talks will actually happen.

New website is a game changer for the female orgasm

$

It's usually not with the right person. It usually sucks. And it's usually done more to satisfy some social norm more than it is about learning how to do it right, for both partners. You know, the actual "whoa that feels good" benefits. All the while, we're never really told it's OK to be having sex. It becomes taboo from the moment we become teenagers. Women get so caught up in trying to figure out if we should be feeling bad about having sex, if we're allowed to flaunt it or if we'll be judged for it, that we forget we're actually allowed to enjoy it.

More: 8 Ways to orgasm without sex

Let's face it, sex ed isn't exactly teaching us how to enjoy sex. It's teaching us about condoms and scary STDs while any lesson in technique is left for porn, an exaggerated enactment of what sex is actually supposed to be like. And to top it off, Addyi — a pink pill that was promised to help some women achieve better orgasms — doesn't really work and has some nasty side effects.

We can do better. We should do better, and a just-launched service is here to help. OMGYes is a sex-ed startup that teaches people about the nuances of that mythical female orgasm through a series of touchable videos that allow users to practice the exact movements that are shown to help women achieve the big O.

More: 6 Ways to use heat during sex that have nothing to do with candles

But... how? The researchers at OMGYes studied the experiences of over 2,000 women between 18 and 95 and then created a database of various techniques that bring women to orgasm, like edging (bringing a woman to the brink and then backing off), orbiting (clitoral stimulation) and consistency (keeping everything the same and repetitive). The techniques that work depend on the woman, so the touchable videos teach each method so users have an arsenal of orgasm-stimulating methods.

Here's how it works: For a one-time payment of $29, you get access to a library of videos that you access on a touchscreen device (like a smartphone or tablet). Each of the videos allows you to practice the exact methods on a virtual vulva, labia and clitoris. The videos are prerecorded, but designed to respond differently to different types of motion.

This could truly be a game changer, so buy a membership for your significant other — or buy one for yourself — and you've got yourself a gift that keeps on giving, over and over again. It's about time you focused on your own pleasure.

Teresa Giudice's homecoming wasn't as private as you think

Giudice was released from prison in the early morning hours of Dec. 23, just in time to spend Christmas with her family. But her homecoming was far from sheltered. In fact, Giudice is so eager to step back into the limelight that cameras were rolling as she was driven back to her family home.

Us Weekly confirmed that Bravo cameras joined Giudice on the ride from the Danbury, Connecticut, prison — but what is unclear is if the footage will be used for an upcoming episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey, or for a standalone special.

People magazine also joined the festivities and snapped an exclusive pic of Giudice's welcome home present: a shiny black 2016 Lexus LX 570 worth approximately $95,000.

Seems a bit suspect considering that Teresa and her husband Joe owe approximately $400,000 in restitution from the bank fraud and tax evasion case. Radar Online posted and then deleted a story stating that Giudice's lawyer James Leonard Jr. bought her the car, with the intent to be "paid back later" (via Jezebel).

It is also possible that People bought her the pricey SUV in exchange for the exclusive rights to her homecoming photos, or Bravo gave it to her to make her homecoming even more dramatic.

But when asked where the car came from, Leonard told Entertainment Tonight, "They make money." He later told reporters at a press conference, "Maybe Santa Claus."

Giudice did need a new ride. She was forced to give up her Maserati by the courts to help satisfy the court judgement against her.
