Leonardo DiCaprio is bringing gorillas to Netflix

World is shocked as Leonardo DiCaprio loses to Josh Hutcherson

Netflix announced on Friday that it is partnering with DiCaprio to produce a new documentary film, called Virunga, about endangered mountain gorillas in Congo.

According to the website for the film, Virunga is the story of "a small and embattled team of park rangers — including an ex-child soldier turned ranger, a carer of orphan gorillas and a Belgian conservationist — [who] protect [Virunga National Park] from armed militia, poachers and the dark forces struggling to control Congo's rich natural resources."

#PoorLeo loses Oscar, wins the internet

"With Virunga, we'll work with Leo to introduce viewers around the world to an incredible, gripping story that will have audiences guessing right up until the final act," Netflix's chief content officer Ted Sarandos said.

DiCaprio serves as an executive producer of the film, and while a Netflix production isn't unique, what is different about the project is that its premiere on Netflix will be accompanied by a limited theatrical run on Nov. 7. As of now, the film will be released in the New York and Los Angeles markets.

Leonardo DiCaprio through the eras

DiCaprio said the partnership with Netflix is "an exciting opportunity to inform and inspire individuals to engage on this topic."

Aside from his documentary film endeavor with Netflix, DiCaprio is responsible for a ton of other philanthropic ventures this year. He donated $7 million for the world's oceans back in June. Just a few weeks ago, he spoke in front of the United Nations, urging representatives to take action on climate change.

DiCaprio also recently announced that he will be taking a break from acting following the completion of production on his latest project, The Revenant. No doubt he'll take the time during his acting break to pursue other ventures like Virunga.

Why I love a filthy child

This is my favorite picture of my daughter. She is gritty and wild in it, with her curls masking her eyesight and her cheeks a deep, sweaty crimson. I took the picture at 2 p.m., and she's still in her pajamas. Her hair isn't brushed, and her face is smeared with food. You can't see it in the picture, but we'd recently had an unspoken battle of wills about whether she'd sink her tiny hands into a mixture of mud and gravel. She won.

Dirty child | Sheknows.com

She won because humanity wins — sweaty, gritty, dirty and beautiful humanity. The kind of humanity that breathes its first breath after a proverbial baptism of blood and water. The kind of humanity that draws its first nourishment from a mother's breast. The kind of humanity that, like motherhood, is only at its best when it leaves scars and dirt to mark the path of its story.

Yes, the very beautiful and very real humanity that we run from. We spend and waste so much time rejecting it. We agonize over our post-baby bodies. We worry about our graying hair. We lift our breasts and we tuck our tummies and we insist that our babies look presentable, as though the grittiness of our shared humanity isn't chasing after us. We make sure our children reflect well on us, and they'll return the favor as we age and decline. A lot of activity, and very little to show for it.

Then, out of the blue, appears the smile of a filthy child in her pajamas at 2 p.m., because I can be a chaotic mother who is just one step ahead of a panic attack and simply cannot stave off the advances of my child's humanity. And my own.

I freaking love it. Her dirty smile whispers that there's more to life than appearances, and that our stories are meant to be a little wild and a little unkempt. Maybe I'd enjoy motherhood more if I gave in to what it has been telling me from the get-go and embraced messiness as insight rather than vice.

Well, it's time to bring the no-bake cookie love to autumn. These cookies are packed full of pure maple syrup and drizzled with just a little sweet maple glaze. My mom loved these cookies because they reminded her of the small, sugary maple candies she used to eat as a kid.

Jillian Michaels' most revealing quotes from Health magazine

$

0

We're accustomed to Jillian Michaels' no-nonsense approach to fitness and weight loss, so it shouldn't surprise us that she has a candid attitude when it comes to several other facets of her life. Michaels graces the cover of the November issue of Health magazine, and she doesn't hold back when she talks about being gay, aging and the show that made her a household name.

On being gay…

In May 2012, Michaels revealed that she is gay. Since then, she has become a mother to a son and daughter with partner Heidi Rhoades. In Health magazine, the Biggest Loser trainer admits, "The gay thing has always been hard for me. When Heidi and I are out and somebody older asks, 'Are you sisters?' I say, 'We're friends.' I guess it comes from thinking that they will be shocked or disturbed. Look, I wish I had some strapping football player husband. It would be such a dream to be 'normal' like that, but I'm just not."

Yes, Jillian Michaels is gay: The quiet coming-out

On exercising every day…

Michaels admits she doesn't work out every day with a "hell no." When asked if she enjoys working out, she also reveals, "I watch the clock every minute." And when it comes to her weekly yoga class, all she can say about that is, "Mother of God, why do I come back here every Saturday?"

Jillian Michaels becomes a mom twice in the same week

On those The Biggest Loser rumors…

"People assume that I think I'm better than that show. I do not. Also, there's a misconception that I keep leaving. On Season 3, I was fired. On Season 11, I asked for time off to start a family. In this go-round, it was a mutual decision. I wanted to make some creative changes, but I was not a producer. I need some control in something with my name attached to it."

Jillian Michaels reveals she didn't quit The Biggest Loser

On the parts of her body she likes the least…

What is Michaels' problem area? "My butt. That's the worst. I work hard on it — and I used to have a double butt — but it's never going to be perfect. In my fantasy world, there would be some magic cure for cellulite. Nothing works. God knows that I've tried it all." Michaels goes on to say, "I ironed my ass with a laser. It didn't work at all."

On why she hesitates to do a reality show about her family…

"I've been approached about having mutual approval over everything to do a reality show. It's interesting because we can talk about parenting, relationships, health — all the things that are important to me. But then I think, 'What if I open up and people attack us just because we're a gay family?' It scares the hell out of me."

On turning 40…

"I've become more controlling with my body. As I've gotten older, I'm like, 'I refuse to accept aging as a descent into decrepitude.' And the irony is that at 40, I'm in better shape than I've ever been."

On how she feels about the elliptical…

"Forget the elliptical. It's a waste of your time. Do incline walking instead. It's way more effective and burns a hell of a lot more calories."

Her must-have beauty product…

"I use coconut oil for everything. It's antimicrobial, it's antifungal, and it's moisturizing."

On what's next…

"I just launched a clothing line with Kmart. I'm also writing another book for new mommies. It's about how to get your body back after pregnancy and give your kid every opportunity to be as healthy as possible."

This hot chocolate is perfect to make in advance for a party. You can even create a hot chocolate bar of sorts, with plenty of different toppings to put into your hot chocolate. I had some friends over and set up a small bar of toppings. They included homemade marshmallows (pictured), some crushed peppermint, crushed cookie crumbs, cinnamon sticks and pumpkin spice marshmallows.

Slow cooker hot chocolate is the best idea because of its ease, flavor and the amount it yields. Any party guest will go crazy over this creamy chocolate drink, especially with these fabulous fall flavor ideas.

Slow cooker hot chocolate

There are also plenty of ways to customize this hot chocolate and change up the flavor. Use the base recipe below, and make yours even tastier with these additions:

  • A few heaping spoonfuls of Nutella
  • About 1/2 cup of pumpkin pie filling and a sprinkle of pumpkin pie spice
  • Half a jar of marshmallow fluff, skipping the marshmallows altogether
  • A few heaping spoonfuls of Cookie Butter or Biscoff Spread
  • A few crushed candy canes and a few teaspoons of white chocolate extract

There are definitely other ways to flavor and change your hot chocolate based on the flavors you love — it's time to get creative.

Slow cooker hot chocolate recipe

This hot chocolate is prepared in your slow cooker, leaving you with very little work to do and a great result when it's done, but note that it does take a little advance planning, since it takes almost three hours to complete.

Yields 15 large mugs

Prep time: 20 minutes | Cook time: 2 hours 30 minutes | Total time: 2 hours 50 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
  • 8 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla
  • Pinch salt
  • Marshmallows or whipped cream (optional)

  2. In the slow cooker, combine the unsweetened chocolate, milk chocolate chips and sweetened condensed milk. Mix well, and cover the slow cooker.
  3. Cook on high for 30 minutes, stirring the chocolate every 10 minutes to help it melt.
  4. Slowly add in the milk, whisking constantly. Stir in the vanilla. Add the pinch of salt.
  5. Cover, and cook on high for another 2 hours.
  6. Stir it right before serving.

Creepy spider cookies are an easy-to-make treat

$

0

These cookies are just a basic chocolate chip cookie recipe that is easy to make. If you prefer, you can use premade cookie dough for an even quicker option. The cookie dough gets rolled into cookie balls, and then you place Whoppers on the tops of the cookies. Placement of the Whoppers is strategic to allow enough room for two or three spiders per cookie, depending on the size. Once the Whoppers are placed, it's time to bake the cookies.

After the cookies are baked and have completely cooled, it's time to add those spider legs. Fill a small plastic bag with melted chocolate or frosting, cut off the tip of a corner of the bag, and pipe on some legs. You can also use a frosting bag fitted with a #2 tip. If you choose to use frosting instead of melted chocolate, then the cookies can't be placed on top of one another, as this would ruin the legs. With the melted chocolate, once it's hardened, you are good to go.

Creepy crawler cookies

I hope you enjoy these spooky spider cookies as much as my family did.

Creepy spider chocolate chip cookies recipe

These cookies are so easy to make and are a fun Halloween treat. You can choose to use a premade cookie dough or make your own from scratch with the recipe provided. The spiders are simply Whoppers with piped-on chocolate legs.

Yields 24

Prep time: 20 minutes | Bake time: 10-12 minutes I Total time: 30-32 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 3/4 cup butter, at room temperature
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 5 tablespoons white sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cornstarch
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder
  • 2-1/3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1-1/2 cups chocolate chips
  • 36 Whoppers
  • 1/3 cup milk chocolate chips, melted

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large bowl, beat together the butter, brown sugar and white sugar until light and creamy.
  3. Separate the eggs. Beat the egg yolks into the sugar and butter mixture, and place the egg whites into another bowl.
  4. Add the cream of tartar in with the egg whites, and beat for several minutes.
  5. Beat the vanilla extract and then the egg white mixture into the bowl with the butter, sugar and egg yolks.
  6. In another bowl, mix together the salt, cornstarch, baking soda, baking powder and flour until combined.
  7. Combine the dry and wet ingredients, and stir until just combined. Stir in the regular chocolate chips.
  8. Use a 1/4-cup measuring cup to measure out the dough onto a cookie sheet. Strategically place the Whoppers to accommodate 2 or 3 spiders.
  9. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until the sides are lightly browned. Remove, and allow to "cook" more on the cookie sheet for about 4 to 5 minutes before transferring the cookies to a cooling rack.
  10. In a small, microwave-safe bowl, melt the 1/3 cup of chocolate in the microwave in bursts of 30 seconds until melted.
  11. Once the cookies are completely cooled, put the melted chocolate into a frosting bag fitted with a #2 tip, and pipe "legs" onto the Whopper spiders.

ANTM eliminee Denzel knows who will win

$

As the first person to ever get a "beard weave" on ANTM, Denzel had to struggle to work past the unusual facial hair. There was also the matter of him and a certain other contestant starting up a relationship in the house. Was Mirjana really the distraction to Denzel that she seemed to be? Denzel opens up about what fans didn't get to see behind the scenes.

ANTM eliminee Matthew talks about Kelly's "quick temper"

SheKnows: What surprised you most while watching this week's episode? Was it the return of an eliminee? Why/why not?

Denzel Wells: No, it wasn't the return of the eliminee. I knew that was about to happen. What surprised me most was that this episode was made and edited to look like Mirjana being upset with me threw me off my game and that I couldn't focus, which wasn't the case. Anyone who knows me or that has ever met me knows that something as juvenile as an argument wouldn't throw me off my game.

SK: How were things in the house before you left?

DW: Despite what was depicted, things were pretty harmonious in the house prior to my elimination.

SK: What's one thing viewers didn't see that happened behind the scenes that you'll never forget or that you wish they would have aired on the show?

DW: One thing I wish should've been aired but wasn't would have to be the entire conversation between Keith and myself, not just a 30-second snippet of the tail end of our conversation, as well as the full exchange between Will and myself after he overheard said conversation.

America's Next Top Model eliminee Ben may not be gone for good

SK: Are you surprised you got eliminated? What would you have done differently?

DW: No. I'm definitely not surprised I was eliminated. I didn't book a runway show and went into panel with the lowest challenge score. I knew what was coming next. I would not have done anything different. It happened exactly how it was supposed to happen.

SK: Who on the show will you continue to keep in touch with and why?

DW: I actually still keep in touch with almost everyone from the show. Mirjana and Will, most notably. Keith, Shei, Raelia, Adam, Ben and, of course, my boy Matt.

SK: Who do you predict will win? Who do you WANT to win?

DW: I predict Keith will win. I want Adam, Keith or Will to win. Twenty seasons, it's about high time a male finally won this competition. After all, isn't that what Tyra got on her soapbox about — no discrimination?

Ingredients:

  • 1 (8 count) package refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/3 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1/4 cup dark brown sugar

EXCLUSIVE: Lionel Richie isn’t Khloé Kardashian's dad, Elvis is

Lionel Richie

InTouch magazine, known for its "inside sources," has recently pinned the Khloé Kardashian paternity tail on the Lionel Richie donkey. An unnamed source told the mag that Khloé's mom, Kris Jenner, had an affair with Richie in the '80s (because he's easy like Sunday morning — sorry, couldn't resist). Says the source, "They had a sexual affair — he bragged about it. He said he was on the outs with his wife at the time. Everyone was sleeping around with everyone else back then, and Kris was hot in those days." That's pretty compelling proof, but we think our photo above provides irrefutable evidence that Richie is not Khloé's dad. There is zero resemblance between these two.

Lionel Richie wrote his hit track "Lady" on the loo

Khloe Kardashian Robert Kardashian

Robert Kardashian

Speaking of zero resemblance, Khloé doesn't look a thing like the man who is supposed to be her biological father, the late attorney Robert Kardashian. From his hairline to his chin, there isn't a single feature you can pinpoint on this man that his daughter inherited. In fairness, none of the other Kardashian offspring look much like him, either. (And yes, before you ask, we deliberately chose an older picture of Khloé — before she started doing weird things to her face so she'd look more like Kim — in an attempt to better formulate our highly scientific and spot-on genetic analysis.)

Are Kim and Khloé Kardashian trying to out-Kim each other?

Khloe Kardashian OJ Simpson

Photo credit: Adriana M. Barraza/WENN, Ethan Miller/Getty Images

O.J. Simpson

What is this? Genetics amateur hour? Any DNA dummy can see that O.J. Simpson and Khloé do not share a shred of genetic coding. InTouch magazine (why is this publication so preoccupied with who sired Khloé?) interviewed Norman Pardo, Simpson's former manager. Pardo told the mag, "They all took their vacations together. There was a lot of partying going on back then."

Wait, is that Kris Jenner? Bruce Jenner spotted with a look-alike

Khloe Kardashian Elvis Presley

Elvis

Yes, we're aware that Elvis Presley died in 1977 and Khloé was born in 1984, but these pictures don't lie. Someone somewhere in the Kardashian bloodline slept with Elvis at some point in time (Jenner's mother, perhaps, or grandmother?) and passed on the King's genes to Khloé. Preposterous, you say? Perhaps. But if we're going to make far-fetched claims about who Khloé's “real” father is, can the alleged sperm donor at least resemble Khloé in some remote fashion? At least Khloé has the same eyes, nose and lips as Elvis.

Calm down, people: Missy Elliot has been focusing on her health for a while

Missy Elliott reveals secret thyroid disease struggles

Sure, it's been a few months since we've seen the hitmaker publicly. But when she showed off her figure at the Alexander Wang H&M launch on Tuesday in New York City, it wasn't just the clothes people focused on. Elliott made a splash with her fabulous and feminine appearance.

Of course, it's going to take a while for us to get used to Elliott's new look. She's lost a reported 70 pounds and is now sporting some long, straight locks, as opposed to her past short, spiky do (which you can see in the image above, from 2010).

Missy Elliott has Ear Candy going Ching-A-Ling

Elliott is obviously pleased with her condition and looks, as she should be after rocking the stage at the event. She was tweeting and sharing photos of herself and friends all night, including this one, which shows a different Elliott than most people are used to. Even the baggy sweater can't hide the fact that she looks thin and happy.

Still, as we reported back in June 2011, Elliott was diagnosed with Graves' disease — an autoimmune disorder that affects the thyroid — in 2008 and has been focusing on her health ever since.

According to an article from People back in 2011, Elliott said, "I'm 30 pounds lighter because I've been exercising. My thyroid is functioning, so I haven't had to take medication in about nine months."

Missy Elliott: Graves' disease hasn't slowed me down

Radiation treatments were responsible for an improvement in Elliott's condition as well, also according to the outlet.

Almost all of the series regulars were in attendance for the big day, including Nina Dobrev (Elena), Paul Wesley (Stefan), Kat Graham (Bonnie) and Michael Trevino (Tyler). Kayla Ewell, who plays Vicki on the show, served as a bridesmaid, according to People.

Even Vampire Diaries executive producer Julie Plec was there for all the action.

Ian Somerhalder wasn't able to make the party but did post a sweet message on Instagram for the newlyweds: "Candice and Joe- my brother, my sister. What a magical day this is for both of you. From the eye of the storm I am still with you in spirit!"

King also took to Instagram to share his excitement and another new photo with his wife. He captioned it, "My wife, she makes me wanna dance." Aww!

The Vampire Diaries casts two new faces: Will they live?

Following the wedding, the new couple was spotted parading through the streets of the Quarter in true New Orleans style, following behind their personal band. Accola is happily twirling an umbrella and dancing through the streets with her new husband and the wedding party.

Accola and King met in 2012 at the DirecTV Celebrity BeachBowl and were engaged in May 2013, according to E! Online. Congrats to the happy couple!

ARIES (March 20-April 18)

You’re a sprinter, not a long-distance runner. You do best with quick starts and photo finishes. It’s when things get bogged down — like with endless negotiations, taking things "slow" in a relationship or returning to the drawing board — that you lose steam. Thankfully, Mars enters Capricorn on Oct. 26. Capricorn is all about bringing things in for a landing. Mars in Capricorn will give you that second wind you need to clinch the deal, win the heart of a love interest or put the finishing touches on a project that will make you the envy of your Twitter followers.

TAURUS (April 19-May 19)

Usually you’re free to pursue your aims and ambitions. Famously driven and tenacious, you can give as well as you get when it comes to beating out the competition. However, the rules of the game change during the time that Venus is in Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 16). Venus in Scorpio is all about female anger, so you don’t want to do anything to piss off a woman — like making a play for her man, job or turf. Think of this energy as a hornet’s nest. Steer clear and you’ll be fine; kick it over and you’ll regret it.

GEMINI (May 20-June 19)

Think twice about re-opening that can of worms when the moon occults Venus on Oct. 23. It irks you that a certain someone in your circle — maybe it’s an embittered colleague, hostile neighbor or angry ex — is going to get away with trundling your name through the mud, but this is a small price to pay for the uneasy truce that you are about to enjoy. Things went from bad to worse over the past two weeks and they could devolve even further if you don’t respect the energies of the Scorpio eclipse. Leave well-enough alone and history will redeem you.

Maybe it’s more than you can handle or it comes at a huge price or it doesn’t quite measure up to what you envisioned. In any case, it’s yours. Dreams don’t always make the easiest translation from the imagination to reality, but give it time and you’ll see it really is a wish come true.

The upside to this frenetic activity is that you will be too busy to obsess over decisions you’re not making. Not only will you free yourself of trivial pursuits, but you will see your way clear to creating the kind of life you want to live.

Year 2014 has been about finding your power. In the first six months you were forced to stand up for yourself. You discovered that once you did, people started treating you differently. You put some noses out of joint but you also ended up winning their respect. Over the next few weeks Mars will again be traveling across a critical sector of your solar horoscope, which means you’ll be finishing the job you started. It’s time to ask for more of your fair share. Once again there will be howls of protest, but you will get what you want.

The solar eclipse on Oct. 23 is the perfect time to target what you want. The unique blending of solar and lunar energies combines the power of your will with the force of your nature so that you move inexorably toward whatever goals you set right now. The only thing that could trip you up is your impulse to exercise the preemptive strike — better known as the Scorpio “sting” — on Oct. 25. Don’t let your misreading of a situation lead you to undercut your own interests right when you’re on the brink of getting what you want.

Your success and fulfillment comes from your willingness to expand your horizons, to discover and to explore. ARIES (March 20-April 18)

Expect things to get really intense between you and that guy you're seeing on Oct. 23. The eclipse energy of the sun in Scorpio is very erotic and naughty and it can be a lot of fun as long as you know that you're both on the same page. If not, then you may have to remind him that you're a woman and not a porn star. Meanwhile he'll want to talk about what's going on with him emotionally on Oct. 25. Great news if you want something deeper, spoiler alert if you're only in it for the sex.

Well, the only way to find out is to make that break and see what happens. The eclipse presents harrowing choices, but they're necessary choices and it's only by making them that you'll find the peace of mind you desperately crave.

You're tired of the financial imbalance in your life and you want to rectify it. Aquarians are pretty laid back. You give your spouse a lot of latitude, you're lenient when it comes to loved ones, and you believe that people are free to come and go as they please. Well, all of that changes this week. Maybe it's the uncertainty of world events or maybe it's the intense Scorpio energy that's coursing through your horoscope, but you will suddenly want to keep close tabs on just about everyone you know. You're not usually this overly protective and part of you may feel embarrassed, but your nearest and dearest will relish it.

Ways to make sure your teen doesn't hide a pregnancy

$

First of all, let's acknowledge that talking to my kids about sex is not at the top of my list of favorite things to do. But, starting sex talk early can help prevent tragedy in the long run. Now, you won't have to bust out the birds and the bees, but Dr. Gail Saltz recommends you start sex information talks early so you are your child's source for the correct information about her body, sexuality and protection — not her buddies. It will help pave the path for comfortable communication should your teen face pregnancy.

Next, while this rule applies to parenting teens in general, make sure your kids know that you expect mistakes, not a perfect teen. One of the hardest parts of parenting is remembering how you felt to be a teen dating. For Margaret Senate, mother of two in New York, making it clear to her teen that she expects her kids to be human made it easier for her daughter to come to her with news of her teen pregnancy. "All teens are going to make mistakes and do careless things; the way we, as parents, react to even those small, seemingly insignificant things will play an important role in the trust and safety our children have in us," shares Senate.

And when they do come to you, Kim Blackham, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, emphasizes the importance of praising teens for how difficult it must be and how grateful you are that they felt comfortable coming to you.

Then make sure your kids know that they are loved unconditionally. For Cindy K., mother of eight in California, ingraining the message that the truth comes with consequences, but forgiveness and understanding are always part of the package went a long way in her household. "We let our kids know that as parents we were more apt to deal with a problem if we were informed, and that disappointment is not to be confused with not being loved," shares Cindy. This was enough to make her teen comfortable to come to her instead of hiding a pregnancy and she was able to guide and support her.

Finally, make time for consistent communication. It's true that most of the time the last thing your teenager wants to do is chat with Mom and Dad. But, when it comes to parenting teens, scheduling time to communicate with your child is the key to letting your teen know there is always time to share things with a parent, advises Dr. David Simonsen.

Parenting teens is one of the toughest jobs you'll ever have. But through communication and support, these easy ways to make sure your teen doesn't hide a pregnancy may just help keep your family from making headlines.

Shailene Woodley dishes on how great her boobs are

Shailene Woodley's no feminist, she loves men too much!

The actress revealed that when she was filming White Bird in a Blizzard, there was an intimate scene with much-older actor Thomas Jane, but she didn't feel one bit awkward about it — and neither did her parents.

"My parents saw the film. I thought it might be awkward, but they both loved it," Woodley said, according to the New York Post's Page Six. Most parents would shudder at the thought, so we're glad that Woodley's parents are so supportive.

As for Woodley, she didn't feel awkward about filming the scene because... well, she has great boobs!

"It's crazy. And sort of wrong. But I felt great doing it. I was not fully robed. And our bodies had no makeup. Who needs makeup? I'm only 22. My boobs are great. They don't need any help," she confessed.

8 Female celebs who aren't afraid to talk about their vaginas

We're glad that Woodley is sending out such a strong body-image message to other women! And speaking of other women, Woodley is a firm believer that the females of the species should stick together and support one another (we agree).

"Women should be there for other women. It's such cruelty and competition out there. Women must help other women. Not say those ugly things about the others just out of their insecurity. I don't believe in that," she said.

White Bird in a Blizzard, based on Laura Kasischke's novel, has a lot of scenes where Woodley is topless. She doesn't think that that is anything to be ashamed of.

Miles Teller tried Viagra, visited strip clubs in Vegas

"Maybe I'm more European at heart than American, but sexuality in America is considered so taboo and it's so not talked about and yet it's so relevant in our lives,” Woodley told the New York Daily News. "I don't understand it: Little kids know more about guns than they do about their own bodies."

She makes a very good point: Is it Hollywood that has so drastically altered our body perception?

John Legend and Chrissy Teigen's sweet pad has a not-so-sweet price tag

What's amazing is that the house is only 2,000 square feet. In other areas of the country, a high price tag would give you tons of acreage. Legend bought the home in 2007, and the couple had interior designer to the stars Don Stewart create a modern Asian aesthetic.

Chrissy Teigen throws "pretty drunk" Dodgers game first pitch

In a 2013 interview with Architectural Digest, the "All of Me" singer shared, "This house has all the qualities I strive for in my own work. It's subtle and beautiful, but it packs a modern punch."

For buyers who are interested in the 1960s-built property, it features three bedrooms, a custom recording studio and a gorgeous backyard with fountains and tranquility pond. The house also has an earthy feel, with teak cabinets, cathedral ceilings and basalt stone and baked oak floors.

Forever 21 fired Chrissy Teigen for being too fat

Sotheby's has the listing on the stunning home with gorgeous views. There's no word on what the couple will do for a West Coast base in the meantime. Their realtor, Steven Moritz, created a YouTube video that takes the viewer through each room in the house to attract buyers to the property.

Moritz described the property as having an "overall Zen atmosphere" that is "a hidden gem, set on a cul-de-sac with beautiful mountain views." It's perfect for any artist in the industry because it's "designed acoustically for low sound, tranquility and creative vibes." It's truly a "soothing retreat."

Chrissy Teigen: "I have a little half-Asian butt"

The couple primarily resides in New York, but they have made no secret about wanting to start a family soon.
