Is it hot in here, or is it just Burn Notice? We've got some good news for fans of the long-running spy drama. Wednesday, USA confirmed that the show has been renewed for a seventh season.
According to TVbytheNumbers, the show has been picked up for an additional 13 episodes. Next year, it will become the third USA series to cross the 100-episode mark.
"Burn Notice is like a fine wine that gets better with age," said USA Network co-Presidents Chris McCumber and Jeff Wachtel.
"Delivering high-octane action, gripping drama and nearly 7 million viewers for the midseason finale, this veteran series is a proven staple of our portfolio."

Burn Notice centers on a former spy who works with the CIA, off the books. He's aided by a former U.S. Navy SEAL, an ex-IRA operative and an ex-counterintelligence agent. The series stars Jeffrey Donovan, Gabrielle Anwar, horror icon Bruce Campbell, Coby Bell and Emmy winner Sharon Gless.
Burn Notice is currently in its sixth season, which USA split into summer and fall installments. The first half ran from June to Aug. and was paired with another hit series, Suits. The second half of the season makes its debut tonight. Therefore, the renewal couldn't have come at a better time. Upon the show's return, the spy team is stranded in Panama, desperate for a ride back to Miami. Will they ever get home?
During its run, Burn Notice has been nominated for four Primetime Emmys, including Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama for Sharon Gless.
Burn Notice returns tonight with a special two-hour premiere, starting at 9/8c.
