Think Pinterest is only for adults? Jessica Alba doesn't think so: Her 4-year-old daughter, Honor, loves coming up with holiday desserts based on stuff she sees on the site.

Jessica Alba talks Windows Phone, Halloween

Most Hollywood kids are excited to dress up for Halloween, but Jessica Alba's oldest daughter is more interested in creating spooky treats for the holiday. The Sin City actress talked to SheKnows this week at launch of Microsoft's Windows Phone 8 in San Francisco and said her love for cooking has rubbed off on Honor, 4.

"Honor had this cute idea for little Halloween treats," Alba beamed, recalling her daughter's Pinterest-worthy idea. "We dipped cookies in chocolate and added breadsticks for little spider legs. For the eyes we added little candies."

It sounds like the whole Warren family gets into Halloween. Alba, husband Cash Warren, Honor and youngest daughter, Haven, dressed up as Disney's The Incredibles for a weekend Halloween party.

"The Incredible’s #HappyHolloween," she tweeted, along with a photo of the family in their costume garb.

It's nice to see Alba taking some time for fun. The actress is just a little busy, thanks to her acting career and her flourishing eco-friendly baby product business, The Honest Company. The nearly year-old company is growing and expanding — and they're about to launch a new app for the Windows Phone 8.

"The Honest Company app is designed to keep parents organized," she told us of the app, due out in early November. "It helps you keep track of everything from sleep schedules, doctor appointments and kids' playdates."

Maybe Honor can start scheduling her own play dates? Alba said that her growing daughter — like many kids these days — loves messing with her phone. She had to activate the KidsCorner feature on her Windows phone to keep Honor away from her camera — and Twitter.

"Otherwise, I'd look at my pics and see like 400 photos of her nose," Alba joked.
