Bindi Irwin, now 14 years old, is carrying on her father's passion for protecting animals and their habitats — as well as working on her budding career as an actress!
The girl we grew to love, who lost her father at the tender age of 7, recently sat down with A Current Affair to talk about growing up, boys and her new film, Return to Nim's Island.
"It has been extraordinary," the daughter of Steve and Terri Irwin gushed of the work. "We've been having so much fun. I love it because I got to do all of my own stunts. It’s been great because we've got lots of animals that are going to be filming with us on Nim’s Island."

When it comes to romance, the big sister of Bob Irwin, now 9, is playing it cool. Bindi explained of her feelings for one particular boy, "Why make things complicated? It's like he's my best mate and it's best not to complicate things. I'm happy smooching on rhinos."
Speaking of her animal costars, Bindi Irwin added to AdelaideNow, ''They were better trained than me. They hit their mark every time.''
While Return to Nim's Island premiered at the Australia Zoo on Sunday, those of us stateside will be able to see the flick on the Hallmark Channel on Mar. 15.
