Kendra Wilkinson is mourning the loss of Mary O'Connor. Though she was known to many as Hugh Hefner's secretary at the Playboy Mansion, the former Girls Next Door star insists there's more to remember.

Kendra Wilkinson is devastated by the loss of "mansion mom" Mary O'Connor. In a blog post published Wednesday, the former girlfriend of Hugh Hefner remembered the late secretary, who worked at the Playboy Mansion for over 40 years.

"She was almost like a therapist because we could talk to her about anything," Kendra Wilkinson wrote of Mary O'Connor, adding, "She was a shoulder to cry on when I needed it and always there to give me advice when I was going through a tough time."

Reflecting back on good times shared through the years, the now-married Wilkinson continued:

"I have so many great memories of Mary. She always invited me to her home for Monday night card games with her and her girlfriends but I would end up watching football with her husband Captain Bob instead.

"Mary also brought me along to her favorite getaway place, Branson, Missouri, which I will never forget. I felt so special that she invited me to her getaway with her and it was so nice to see where she went away to."

Mary O'Connor, who died Sunday at the age of 84, not only threw Kendra's baby shower, but put her own spin on the star's 2009 bridal shower.

The 27-year-old explained, "One of my favorite memories of her that I'll never forget is when she showed up at my bridal shower wearing a shower cap, while all of my friends were in risqué outfits."

Hugh Hefner, 86, added his own words of condolences on Twitter after she passed, writing, "Mary passed away today. We loved her more than words can say."

Bridget Marquardt, also a Girls Next Door veteran, told Celebuzz, "Every morning Holly Madison and I would go down to her office and talk to her about everything. So she was always there for us to vent or just to help us out."

"She was a wonderful person and I wouldn't be the person I am without her," Kendra Wilkinson's heartfelt blog post about Mary O'Connor concluded.
