After becoming the hottest Hollywood sensation, thanks to a passing televised comment by Brent Musburger at the BCS championship game, what's a girl to do? Join the cast of the upcoming ABC show, Celebrity Diving.
The move seems a bit odd. After all, Webb seemed a bit publicity-shy following the huge press onslaught. A.J. McCarron's girlfriend did an interview with The Today Show and then retreated away from the media.
However, TMZ has the photos and is exclusively reporting that Miss Alabama USA is a part of the cast. This news should certainly make sportscaster Musburger happy, as Webb will have to don a bathing suit to dive into the water.
This upcoming show should not be confused with the recent special on FOX, Stars in Danger: The High Dive, which featured celebrities like tWitch from So You Think You Can Dance, Kyle Richards from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills and NFL player Terrell Owens.
ABC's show is slated to premiere on March 19 and will feature a weekly competition that gets increasingly more difficult as the season progresses. The celebrities are coached by a professional diver.
Other famous faces who will be diving into chlorine include former Playboy Playmate Kendra Wilkinson, The Cosby Show star Keshia Knight Pulliam and NBA legend Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.
There is no word on how Alabama quarterback McCarron feels about his girlfriend's participation in the show, since there were rumors that he did not enjoy her time in spotlight. However, he couldn't be too upset if she's currently filming the competition reality show.
There is one big question though: why does Hollywood want its C-list stars diving into water so badly? Two shows, two networks — and a whole lot of wet heads.
