Surprise, Blac Chyna's dad had the baby's gender all wrong

Black Chyna's dad took some heat this week for his bad grandpa move when he supposedly revealed that his daughter and Rob Kardashian were expecting a little boy together. Turns out, he may have been wrong.

More: Bizarre stock images of babies we desperately wish we could unsee

A source revealed to Us Weekly that it's actually going to be a little girl joining the Kardashian clan. Chyna already has a 3-year-old son, King Cairo, from her relationship with Tyga, so this will make one of each.

More: Even Chelsea Houska's healthy pregnancy habits are under attack

Of course, who really knows at this point? We haven't heard directly from the couple, so we won't be too surprised if it's a boy or a girl. Twins, now, that would surprise us. Could it all be leaks to keep us guessing? Of course, these are the Kardashians we're talking about. (Note: Chyna will soon be known as Angela Kardashian, a name for which she has filed a trademark.)

More: The love between Kelly Clarkson's kids is undeniable in her photos

Also, they may just not want anyone to know the baby's sex until the baby is born. Plenty of couples want to save that as a surprise for the day of birth, and there's nothing wrong with that. Not everyone is into gender reveals — be it through cake or media announcements — so if they want to throw people off, so be it. We'll all find out soon enough... or at least by October, when she's expected to give birth.

There was nothing shameful about losing my virginity at 14

0
0

When I’m asked about the age I became sexually active, my response tends to garner pity and even occasional disgust. Why? Because I chose to have sex at the age of 14.

My first boyfriend was everything I had wanted in a lover: a face that reminded me of Kurt Cobain and long blond hair to match, a love of alt-rock and warm hands to hold. From the first day I saw him, safety-pin-emblazoned hoodie draped around his shoulders and all, I set my sights.

Six months after we first met, I planned a hike and a picnic that would lead up to asking him what he thought about our friends saying we’d be a great couple, as you do when you’re very young and too nervous to tell someone you have a crush on them. “I mean, we could… Try it out,” I said with pubescent hesitance.

“… And if it doesn’t work,” he added, “we can still be friends!”

Shortly after our awkward, hormone-infused conversation ended, he went home and immediately called me. Since we were no longer face-to-face, I had much more courage and asked him if he’d thought I was pretty (he had) and if he had “like-liked” me all along (he had). As I went to bed with giddiness, I put a Sheryl Crow CD on repeat and woke the next day to sunlight streaming through the blinds. I had finally, after a grueling 14 years of life alone, found love. It was a truly teenage moment.

More: You should know a thing or two about squirting

Our first official day of dating, I took the light rail to his house to listen to mix tapes. While it was no longer the age of the cassette, we both belonged to less than affluent families and worked with what we had, which were mostly discarded old tapes and hand-me-down stereo systems. The mattress on his floor had no sheets, but a worn out comforter sprawled underneath our bodies as we both tried to lie just far enough apart while maintaining our held hands. Impatient for my first kiss, the Gin Blossoms floated through the air for what seemed like an eternity. After an excruciating hour or so, I finally asked him, flustered as I was, if he was ever going to kiss me. He did.

Shortly after our first official date, a screening of Tim Burton’s Big Fish at the cheapest theater in town, I realized that the kissing and dry-humping we’d been enjoying was definitely going to lead to sex, and I was ready. I made an appointment to get on birth control. In addition to wanting to protect myself from unplanned pregnancy, I also wanted to make it clear that this was indeed my choice. While I had felt the pressure that so many young women do to be flawless, I didn’t feel pressured to have sex: I wanted to have sex.

A month later, I packed my stereo, some candles and condoms into a backpack and headed to the empty apartment my mother and I were about to move into. My boyfriend agreed to meet me. It was summertime, school was out, and we were madly in love. The details of that first time are lost in the fog of the years that followed, but I can still remember the lustful and innocent months afterward. Free of the worries that come with adulthood, that first romance and the sexuality we explored together was completely untainted.

More: The orgasm shot that upgraded my sex life

Of course, we were teenagers and we broke up after a year. Twice. I cried in my bed for three days listening to Karen Carpenter sing “The End of The World” on a loop. Girlfriends came over to wipe away my tears until they got bored. It was high school after all. While I longed for someone to love and for the electric prickle of hot skin against my own, I didn’t have sex again for two years; I didn’t want to share that part of myself with just anyone. There was never a moment that I felt my sexuality wasn’t a sacred piece of who I was.

Young people are often viewed as incapable of knowing the consequences of their actions; their wisdom is second-guessed, their autonomy denied, their lives micromanaged. While critical guidance is necessary for young minds, staunch policing does not lead to self-possessed decision making. The multitude of reasons I was able to responsibly take charge of my sexuality certainly did not include shame, abstinence-only sex education or the denial of my bodily autonomy.

Exploring my sexuality early on was a character-building exercise and absolutely set the stage for the sex-positive life I live now.

I could never regret having sex at 14, because it simply wasn’t regrettable. It was beautiful.

How to cut and pit avocados so you can eat more of them

Avocados are the nutritional badasses of the fruit world. Yes, that's right, they're a fruit. And they're packed with more potassium than bananas in addition to being rich in vitamins K, C, B5 and 6, E and folate. They're loaded with fiber and healthy monounsaturated fatty acids (the good fat), making them heart healthy and good for your gut. They can also help lower your cholesterol and triglyceride levels.

  2. For mashed avocados or guacamole, put them in a container with an airtight lid with at least an inch of space at the top.
  3. Fill the container with enough water to cover any exposed flesh, and cover with the airtight lid.
  4. When ready to use, carefully pour off the water, and enjoy.

JoJo's hometown dates may have stirred up troubling relationship drama with her men

0
0

Last night's episode of The Bachelorette, filled with both family and ex-girlfriend drama, makes me wonder: What can you do to protect your relationship from these issues? Well, it starts with communication and understanding. Also, a new partner has to be able to accept how a family handles problems and issues, as they may not understand all of the story or the family dynamics. This was particularly evident during this week's hometown dates on The Bachelorette.

More: The three D's that could be the harbinger of doom for your relationship

As we saw with The Bachelorette's Chase, he is worried about his residual baggage from his parents' divorce. It was a painful experience that he wants JoJo to understand. He kept explaining that she has to meet his mom separately from his dad and hopes this will not change her perception of him. JoJo tells the audience that she understands why he has difficulty sharing his emotions, but it's not an entirely fair assessment for her to make. At the end of the hometown date, Chase indicated that he is able to show his feelings to JoJo. He, like many others, may have had difficulty vocalizing his emotion, but being able to show a feeling can be just as valuable.

When JoJo goes to Jordan’s hometown in Chico, California, they visit his old high school and look at his football photos. She points out his brother Aaron and tells the camera that Chase seemed to be hurt by having all of these memories about his brother that he can't share with him. They go to his family’s home, and she comments that she knows Aaron won’t be there, but she is excited to meet the others. Because Jordan's brother is the famous quarterback Aaron Rodgers, it's likely that the show pushed this topic to be seen on camera. However, with real family issues, it is best left to the family to work out when they decide they are ready. It does not feel right to continue to push an issue where the brother is talked about but not there to give his thoughts. Families need to work out conflicts through communication when all parties are present and willing to open up.

More:How did Alex misread his relationship with JoJo so badly?

Robby’s hometown date focused on his old relationship that lasted four years and only recently ended. Robby’s mom tells him that there is noise going around that he broke up with his girlfriend to go on the show. He tells JoJo about this issue and tries to explain his past to make sure she does not doubt him. She questions him and feels like he may not be over his ex, and she is not sure. Drama from the past might show up in current relationships, but this type of show does not allow for her to see how this would play out in real life because they are kept away from any real drama. JoJo can only decide from what she hears from him. In real life, you could observe someone’s actions and see if they are honest about their words. The couple could discuss the drama and create a plan to problem-solve if this shows up in their relationship.

Drama can occur in relationships, and you can handle it if you have a healthy foundation. If a couple needs to work together and figure out how to problem-solve drama, then having good communication skills will help. But the issue with TV shows is that there is not any time or focus on actual problem-solving.

Why saying All Lives Matter really is a huge problem

0
0

I recently read and shared the article "10 Reasons I Don't Want to Be Your White Ally," which struck up a serious conversation among a few Caucasian friends and me. They wanted to know what could they do to be a better ally. Here are a few things I personally feel white people (and everyone else) should understand before making the decision to be an ally for Black Lives Matter.

More: For black women, street harassment is an even more terrifying reality

1. Don’t hold the actions of a few against the many

The people who want to kill police or white people, in general, do not represent the Black Lives Matter movement. If you find yourself thinking in that direction, consider how you would feel if the actions of white racists in your neighborhood were held against your entire community? It would be unfair and would sound silly, wouldn’t it?

2. Don't say all lives matter

Yes, all lives matter, but all lives do not matter equally in the United States. Minorities, including women of every race and ethnicity, are not treated the same as white males. Just because the movement is called Black Lives Matter does not negate that the lives of other people matter, too.

3. Don't wait for your black friends to speak before you chime in

One common grievance I noticed when the Alton Sterling and Philando Castile videos made headlines is that black people were not seeing their white friends admitting that these events were tragic. When you read of an injustice perpetrated against a black life or the life of any minority and you feel it is wrong, post it without hesitation.

More: I thought I said goodbye to racism when I left my KKK-riddled hometown — I was wrong

4. Don't hide behind your friends' posts

Don't hide your thoughts and comments on these issues on friends' post or a post from a page you like. Post about it on your timeline so your friends can read how you feel. Let your friends know that you feel the way black lives are being treated is wrong. Don't keep your thoughts hidden from those you know. Being an ally in the shadows helps not one person.

5. Be selflessly empathetic

I see a lot of white people say that they know how black people feel and give a weak comparison from their life. That is not needed. It is not wanted. Showing empathy for a cause or any person should be about the person or the cause, not you. There is one exception: if you have a black spouse or black children (children who will be viewed as black). In this case, you will know the fear of wondering if your black spouse or children will make it home alive if stopped by the police. Just simply acknowledging that you feel the specific situation is a tragedy is sufficient. If you are the praying the type, saying that you have the families in your prayers is sufficient. That is selfless support.

6. Admit that there's a problem

Kimberlee Stevenson believes that, "You can be a better ally by first admitting that there is a problem. Throwing out black on black crime doesn't help. We get that, and we as a community are working on that as well. Speak up and say something to your other white friends when they make racist remarks or turn and walk the other way because they see a person of color coming towards them. Have a conversation with your family and friends about their actions and words. Just be visible. If you can get angry over a lion, an alligator and a gorilla, then you can get angry over humans being mistreated."

7. Celebrity mishaps are not relevant

The reason why BLM is so well-known is largely because the media has made an effort to write about it — a lot. Sometimes it is to inform, but most of the time, it is for readership and ratings. Due to this, you will see headlines about a celebrity receiving backlash for a picture or comment that is not racist but may lack sensitivity. Those headlines are nothing to be bothered by.

8. Being a white ally is not easy

Please understand that being a white ally is no easy task. Anytime a person supports a cause that means a change to the current social structure to benefit women, minorities or the LGBT community, those who fear these changes will label them a Social Justice Warrior. SJW white people are perhaps hated by other whites as much as Tim Wise. So expect hostility. It takes courage and a strong will to seek out justice and equality.

9. Think about the black race as a whole

Trease Shine Hinton argues that, "I would ask white people to stop and really think about what the black race as a whole has gone through. Stop apologizing, think about what we've endured and where we're coming from, understand why some of us are so incredibly bitter, and stop telling us to get over it."

Clean a burnt pot in 4 easy steps, no crying necessary

0

Multitasking too much while cooking dinner (or forgetting about a pot on the stove altogether) can only mean one thing: It isn't going to be pretty when you survey the damage that has been done to your favorite cookware after it boils over or burns. But before you throw in the towel and throw it out completely, we've got a few tried-and-true methods that can help clean up that burnt mess.

What you'll need:

  • White vinegar
  • Baking soda
  • Water
  • Double-sided sponge

Step 1

Fill the pot or pan with a layer of water. The amount of water you use will vary based on the depth of the pot and the area of the stain. You want the water level to be at or near the height of the stain while still providing enough room for the addition of vinegar and baking soda.

More: Natural ways to clean your kitchen, because chemicals are not delicious

Add about a cup of vinegar to the pot, again adjusting the amount of vinegar based on the depth of the pot and the area of the stain. For very large burns, add more vinegar. For smaller burns or shallower pans, add less.

Next up: Step 2

{pageBreak}

Step 2

Place the pot or pan on the stove, and bring the mixture to a boil. It shouldn't take long before you start to notice a difference in the stain's appearance.

More: Kitchen hack: 4 handy ways to clean with food

Step 3

Take the pot or pan off the burner, and turn off the stove. Add 2 – 3 tablespoons of baking soda to the mix. Allow the baking soda to fizz and do its work for a few minutes before emptying the mixture from the pot.

More: 5 easy rules for cooking without creating utter chaos in your kitchen

Step 4

Scrub the pot with the abrasive side of your sponge. You may need to scrub for 30 – 45 seconds, but the burnt spots should come up fairly easily. If the spots are especially stubborn, sprinkle a little dry baking soda on top of them to help abrade the burn marks away. When you're satisfied that the pot is clean, rinse it thoroughly — it should look as good as new.

If you're using a cheap vibrator, you're not living your best life

0

Vibrators did not land very high on my list of priorities as a nineteen year old, but I also lived one block from a bright purple building with the words “XXX ADULT XXX” painted in bright red and black. I was desperately curious.

When I finally worked up the nerve to go inside, the most prominent fixture was the middle aged man who stood behind the counter with hair that reminded me of Dog The Bounty Hunter. Thankfully, the many explicit DVDs lining the shelves served as a distraction.

In the center of the small room was a clearance bin, and being the near-penniless, bargain-savvy teen that I was, I began sorting through masturbation sleeves and remote control bullets. Upon finding a $15 red, glittery jelly vibrator that happened to require the only kind of batteries I had at home, I went to the register to shyly purchase my first ever sex toy. It was a moment that would have Ilana from Broad City cheering.

More: The sex toy so good, I almost passed out the first time I used it

Bubbling with excitement over the unknown pleasures I was about to unlock, I hustled down the street, sneaking in my house so my roommate wouldn’t hear me come in with my secret goodies. Upon placing the cheap jiggling thing against my body, it dawned on me that everyone who had ever claimed to enjoy vibrators was either an idiot or a liar. It was such a stupid purchase, I decided, a complete waste of money. Worst of all, it was boring. I begrudgingly wrapped it up inside the paper bag I’d brought it home in and threw it in the trash. At least Ilana would have been proud of me for trying.

Fast forward to a few years later, when I began working at a feminist-focused sex shop.

Owned by a professor of human sexuality, the shop works as a center for sex education and quality sex toys. After a few months getting accustomed to products, I purchased the Vibratex Mystic Wand, and oh, did my anti-vibrator tune change. I had gone from thinking vibrators weren’t for me to an absolute believer. The Mystic was so rumbly! So powerful! It was just so very… effective. I've sang its praises ever since.

What I wish I had known before buying my very first vibrator is that a cheap vibrator will almost always feel like a cheap vibrator. Meanwhile, there are a dizzying number of luxury sex toys that are sure to turn any naysayer into a full-fledged convert, and your pleasure deserves the investment.

More: 7 sex toys to add to your masturbation bucket list

This is not to say you can’t get a quality sex toy for a respectably affordable sum, but a $15 vibrator is simply not of the same as a $150 vibrator that will likely last for years — and comes with a good warranty in case it suffers an early death (that's right, vibrators have warranties!).

Another aspect of sex toys I wish I known about sooner is safety. This industry is unregulated, which means that there’s no one making sure those inexpensive anal beads are safe except the sellers who go the extra mile to ensure the safety of their customers. Phthalates, a plastic softener found in jelly and other various sex toy materials, are known to be toxic and yet they still show up in sex toys left and right from lower quality companies who care more about making a buck than providing their patrons with healthy orgasms.

Companies dedicated to serving their community well often have to charge more; you’re paying for the peace of mind that comes with buying from a reputable source, not to mention the quality materials those companies are using to create outstanding products. Akin to purchasing organic vegetables from your local farmer’s market rather than the outlet grocer’s sale section, you are paying a company you believe in to provide you with a product they believe in. These relationships are give and take, and you can always wait for the really good sales if those price tags aren’t quite within your budget.

More: Erotica books really do have secret sexual powers

That first jelly vibe of mine was such a disappointment, so it brings me such joy to provide others with the knowledge they need to make an informed decision about buying sex toys. When I recommend a product to someone, it is because I know it’s safe, the price matches the quality, and I can bet that the person in question is going to genuinely love what they take home (unlike "Dog the Bounty Hunter" who let me waste 15 bucks on glittery plastic).

Bottom line: your body deserves the investment.

80 percent of women have fibroids, and they are no joke

0
0

Sara Bareilles showed her big-time bravery after her recent surgery to remove a large fibroid from her uterus. No, it wasn't just the fact that she had the surgery — it's a relatively uncomplicated outpatient procedure — but rather the fact that she's talking about it (and sharing pictures)!

Uterine fibroids — little balls of tissue that grow in the walls of the uterus — are the most common benign tumors in women under 50, with over 80 percent of us getting them at some point in our lives. (Fun fact: I've got two!) But for something so common, it's astonishing how little we hear about it.

More: Bethenny Frankel just got really real about her health issues

Most people hear "benign" and just think "thank heavens it's not cancer," but fibroids run the gamut from being so mild you don't even know you have them (that's me) to incredibly debilitating, impacting a woman's day-to-day functioning, according to Ayman Al-Hendy, M.D., OB-GYN and molecular biologist, who also happens to be working with the drug company Allergan to develop a noninvasive treatment for fibroids.

Symptoms include irregular or super-heavy periods, passing clots, pelvic pain or pressure, lower stomach bloat, infertility and even repeated miscarriages. Worse, many women believe their symptoms are "just part of being a girl," leading them to wait years before seeking treatment for them. They're usually diagnosed via an ultrasound and often found while looking for something else.

Because it's unknown what causes fibroids, there aren't many treatments for them. If you have no or mild symptoms, most doctors recommend a wait-and-see approach. But for the ones that reach epic levels, the most common treatment is surgery, making them the leading cause of hysterectomies in the U.S., according to Al-Hendy. Now, however, there are two very promising nonsurgical options. Both Allergan's ulipristal acetate treatment and uterine fibroid embolization have shown promising results in clinical trials.

More: 6 reasons to love your period (yes, seriously)

Bareilles, for her part, has taken this as a sign to slow down and treat her body better, writing on Instagram:

"In the silence and solitude of the simple task of my body seeking it's healed state, I have become vigilant about what I am intaking. Physically and metaphorically. Be careful about how much negativity and noise you heap on your plate. It comes in abundance, but there are other beautiful things at the buffet. The slow pace of my recovery has simplified my world in a way, and I am reminded to absolutely acknowledge the chaos of a very strange/surreal time in our country and on our beloved planet, but ALSO remember to come back into the room I'm actually sitting in. Celebrate what is good about that too. I will continue to mend and hopefully return with more patience and compassion and knowledge of Game of Thrones."

Her deep thoughts and positive attitude (or painkiller euphoria?) are an inspiration to women everywhere.

Criminal Minds is mixing things up in Season 12 with a Paget Brewster return

We've got some serious Criminal Minds news that could help fill the Derek Morgan-sized hole that Shemar Moore left when he exited the show in Season 11. That's right: Paget Brewster is officially reprising her role as Emily Prentiss for a good chunk of Season 12.

After posting a teaser and toying with fans' emotions in June, Brewster made the big announcement on Thursday, that she is, indeed, suiting up to help out the BAU once again.

"Yes! I'm shooting a whole bunch of episodes this year @CrimMinds_CBS! And it was so damn hard not telling you," she wrote on Twitter.

Showrunner Erica Messer confirmed Brewster's statement during a panel at San Diego Comic-Con on Thursday.

"We’re excited to have Paget Brewster back for multiple episodes in our 12th season," Messer said, via TVLine. "The BAU can use more help this year since they’ve got a lot of known and unknown subjects to catch."

While it remains to be known exactly how much we will see her in the coming season, that didn't stop Criminal Minds fans from freaking out about Prentiss' return. The general consensus has been "finally" and "somebody call 911 because I'm overexcited."

Brewster's character came back for an episode in March to help the team track down a serial killer who copied other serial killers, but instead of satisfying viewers with her return, it just left many hungry for more Prentiss and nostalgic for a time when the show had a superior cast.

A lot of fans had hoped that Brewster would return to Criminal Minds after Grandfathered, which she starred on in its first and only season, was canceled. Looks like they're getting their wish.

Divergent may release the final movie on TV, but is that good or bad?

0

Planning on catching the final flick of the Divergent series at the theater? You may want to rethink that.

More: 8 Divergent: Allegiant spoilers from the book

Variety reports that after a lackluster performance at the box office with the third film in the series, Allegiant, the final installment, Ascendant, may skip the big screen and head straight to TV, with a series based on the fictional world of the movies to follow.

Ascendant was set to start filming this summer and premiere in June 2017. The whole series is produced by Lionsgate — starring Shailene Woodley, Theo James and Ansel Elgort — based on Veronica Roth's Divergent series of books. The books and movies are set in a post-apocalyptic world where society is divided up based on personality traits.

More: Insurgent's Kate Winslet and Miles Teller talk about 'vile' Jeanine (EXCLUSIVE)

Lionsgate hasn't commented on the new report about the TV show, but Variety has plenty of details anyway — the site says the plan is to finish the final installment in the series with the same actors and storyline and at the same time, introduce new actors who will carry on the story on TV after the movie airs. Some cast members from the movies might be on board to go on to the show, though there's no official word on that yet, and there's still no studio attached to the reportedly proposed series.

The first Divergent movie was released in 2014. The first two installments of the series were extremely successful at the box office, followed by a less successful release of the third film. The book series consisted of three books — the final book was split into two movies.

Ben Higgins next career move actually has a lot in common with The Bachelor

0

Ben Higgins is moving on from his Bachelor platform and trying to get a congressional platform. Higgins announced that he will be running as a Republican candidate in Colorado this November. He is running against the Democratic incumbent, Rep. Dan Pabon, who was just sentenced to one year of probation for driving under the influence.

More: The Bachelor: 7 things to know about Ben Higgins

Higgins understands that the leap is a little strange for most people. According to The Denver Post, Higgins said, "I am definitely not a politician, but I have a lot to offer through my years in the financial services industry and, more importantly, my work in charitable and humanitarian organizations."

It sounds like he’s aware that his candidacy is a bit of a long shot, but it worked for Donald Trump, so why wouldn’t a reality star be able to take on congress?

More: Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell's families celebrate first holiday together

It is strange that he chose this year to run a campaign because he’s already busy planning a wedding to his fiancee Lauren Bushnell, as well as co-starring in a new reality show with her. The couple will be featured in Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After this coming October, so he could either give himself a huge advantage or ruin his chances with the show.

The good news for Bushnell is she’ll get an amazing new wardrobe as a politician's wife. The bad news is a very busy husband for their first year of marriage.

More: Ben Higgins enjoys new fame with John Stamos & Samuel L. Jackson (PHOTO)

But when you think about it, there are a lot of similarities between being the Bachelor and being in congress. Lots of suits, lots of charming large groups of people and most importantly, there’s the fact that he’s really great at saying things he doesn’t mean and making people believe him.

It’s hard to believe that any Republican will win in the heavily Democratic state of Colorado, but it’ll be interesting to watch either way!

Williams apparently had some questions of his own about the appearance, because he walked out of the show before his interview even began, sparking a nasty, name-calling spat with O'Reilly.

"He will never be on this program again," O'Reilly announced on air as he told viewers that Williams had canceled his scheduled appearance on the show at the last minute. "He’s not a man of his word, he’s unprofessional. That is about as low as it gets."

According to O'Reilly, Williams "walked out in a huff… and the producer tells me he was mad about some gay thing."

Williams, who reportedly thought he was going on O'Reilly's show to talk about a speech he had given earlier in the day about LGBT rights, was understandably upset about O'Reilly's use of the word "gay." He took to Twitter later, posting a video to set the record straight, saying that he showed up to the studio only to learn he wouldn't be talking about his speech.

"Suddenly [Fox News host] Eric Bolling is involved and it’s all about Obama being racist," Williams said. "I walked before air, they chased me halfway around the building. My detail had to stop them. I’m solely focused on my [LGBT] speech. When that was eliminated, why stay?"

He also called out O'Reilly for calling him a coward on air.

"The word ‘coward’ is usually used on people who have done most of the things that you've done, like embellishing lies about your credentials as a journalist, like the fact that your own daughter in a testimony in a court case... said that you dragged your ex-wife down a flight of stairs," he said. "You wanna talk about coward, homeboy... that's what a coward truly is, somebody who's going to call somebody a name on air and not even to their face. I'm calling you one now, so the whole world can see it. We know who the coward is."

Norman Reedus might be a walking deadman after his prank on Andrew Lincoln

The Walking Dead is such a heavy show that it’s no wonder the cast members need a little laughter to distract them. Unfortunately for Andrew Lincoln, the laughter came at his expense on Thursday, when his co-star, Norman Reedus, glitter bombed him in the funniest way.

Reedus filled the air vents of Lincoln’s car with a ton of glitter and then filmed Lincoln as he got in his car to go home for the day. In the video of the prank, you can see how sweltering the heat is. Lincoln needs his AC to get home without dehydrating in the Atlanta summer. Reedus didn’t stop him from using his AC, he just made it a little messier to do so.

While Lincoln does not look amused in the slightest to have his car glitter bombed, Reedus is laughing the entire time, tickled that his planned worked and he was able to get it on camera. Even after about 10 seconds of the floating glitter, you can hear Lincoln say, "It’s still going, dude," which just makes Reedus laugh more.

Lincoln did not crack a single smile the whole video, but it wasn’t out of anger, more out of annoyance that he didn’t come up with this brilliant prank first, we assume.

It’s always fun to see a good harmless prank between co-workers, even more so when they are characters of your favorite TV show. We all want to believe they are having as much fun making the show as we are watching it. This video is all the evidence we need to know that this is true of The Walking Dead set.

Although, we would like to take this time to caution Reedus in the coming weeks. Something tells me that Lincoln isn’t going to let this go without a little retaliation of his own. Especially since he’s going to be finding that glitter in his car for months.

Taylor Swift's Kanye West drama isn't scaring away Tom Hiddleston

If you thought Taylor Swift's crazy drama with Kanye West and Kim Kardashian would scare away Tom Hiddleston, think again. The actor is standing by Swift and reportedly helping her feel better during all the media madness.

"Tom is not annoyed by the negative media attached to Taylor. He knew that would come with the course of dating her. He has been supporting her and enjoying the time he's having with her," an exclusive inside source told E! News. "They're having a great time and are always laughing."

More: Taylor Swift responds to Kim Kardashian turning the internet against her

As for Swift, she is (not surprisingly) super annoyed with Kardashian and West after Kardashian posted video footage of the "Shake It Off" singer and West discussing the rapper's song "Famous."

"Taylor is not happy about what happened with Kim and Kanye," the source revealed. "She thinks they are using her to get even more publicity."

Swift also reportedly says she'll never talk to, let alone collaborate with, West ever again.

"She is not a fan of Kanye and won't ever work with him or talk to him again at this point," the source said.

More: Taylor Swift's having a tough year — everything that's happened in 2016

While we haven't seen any new candid shots of Hiddleswift since all the Kimye drama went down, Swift and Hiddleston's relationship is reportedly still going strong.

"Taylor and Tom are in love with each other. He told her she is the kind of woman he wants to spend his life with," the source said. "They have gotten very close. She is enjoying the time off from working. She has been writing during her travels, and Tom has been an inspiration in her music."

Does that mean a new Swift album could be on the way? We can only hope!

More: Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston have reportedly already talked about kids

While it sounds like Hiddleston is providing major inspiration for Swift's next project, we still hope the album will deliver some insight as to what went wrong in Swift's relationship with Calvin Harris. However, Harris has caused more than enough drama in Swift's life post-breakup, so she may not even want to give the DJ the satisfaction of inspiring a breakup song, even if we could seriously relate to it.

Terrifying 3-D model shows what we'd have to look like to survive bad car crashes

Anyone who has been injured in a car accident knows that seatbelts and airbags definitely help, but they aren't 100 percent able to keep us safe on impact. Nearly 1.3 million people die each year from injuries sustained in crashes, mostly because our bodies — for all their amazing strength and abilities — can't win in car vs. human fight.

More: How a vitamin deficiency nearly paralyzed me

"The truth is, our cars have evolved a lot faster than we have," David Logan, a team member with Australia's Transport Accident Commission in Melbourne and road safety engineer at the Monash University's accident research center told Road & Track. "Our bodies are just not equipped to handle the forces in common crash scenarios."

To further prove that point, the organization worked with trauma surgeons, a car crash expert and an artist to create a model of a human that's car crash-resistant.

And the results? Uh, pretty horrifying.

The model — named Graham — has a huge bulbous head, a concave face, no neck, thicker skin and air pockets around his ribs. His lower ankles have extra joints, making it easier for him to jump out of the way of oncoming vehicles, and his knees are extra flexible to allow for extra impact.

You can learn more about him in this video produced by the TAC.

Graham might not be the most pleasing thing to look at, but he does serve a shocking purpose — to show us just how important it is to pay attention to our safety on the roads and sidewalks. We might not have his protective body, but being more cognizant of road safety — no texting, always wear your seatbelt, etc. — can do a lot to reduce accidents.

And you know what? He gets cuter the longer you look at him. This might not be a horrible way to evolve, especially if it keeps people alive.

Woman has the perfect date with herself after being stood up

Being stood up sucks, but it doubly sucks when you traveled a great distance only to get rejected in the worst way possible.

More: There was nothing shameful about losing my virginity at 14

That's exactly what happened to Mimi Black. The Irish woman schlepped from the west coast of her country to Glasgow, in Scotland. Her travel likely included spending money on airline tickets and a hotel, so she dished out a lot of cash to get dissed. But did she let it get her down?

Nope.

"A boy stood me up so I decided to have the best date with myself, and it was great," she wrote on Twitter, along with photos of her epic experience that showed she could plan a date that was 1,000 percent better than one this no-show dude could've planned. And she Snapchatted the whole experience before later posting it on Twitter.

First, she stopped by Ann Summers, a sex toy and lingerie store, to pick up some lingerie. Then, she quenched her thirst with some sex — well, a sex on the beach cocktail.

She topped it off with ice cream before heading home to model her lingerie.

The guy later apologized, but it was for the best because Black, who battles bipolar disorder and blogs about mental health, found out just how strong she is.

"I managed to muster up the courage to travel into the city myself and meet someone I’ve been speaking to for a few months," she told the U.K. Mirror. "Without divulging too many personal details, he had missed two other meetings with me, but with his own reasons."

The lesson here: "People will fuck you over — it's up to you what you do about it."

"If I wasn't stood up, I wouldn't have saw (sic) the Ann Summers sale," she added. "Who's the real winner?"

You are, Mimi. You are.

Ariel Winter confirmed her split from longtime boyfriend Laurent Claude Gaudette just last month, but it looks like she might already have a new guy. The actress has been spotted out and about with fellow actor Sterling Beaumon on several occasions this past week.

More: We're all for Ariel Winter loving her body, but should we be worried?

The pair recently attended the SkySpace Launch Party, posed for photographs together and looked more than friendly according to an eyewitness.

"The two arrived at the SkySpace LA event together and left together. They were seen hanging out all night and it seemed like they were more than just friends," an eyewitness told E! News. "They were definitely very flirty and always close to each other."

Winter and Beaumon were also recently seen hanging out together at The Nice Guy in Los Angeles with a group of friends. Beaumon shared a couple of photos from their evening out at the restaurant, including a group shot taken in a photo booth.

Winter and Beaumon have been friends for years. They even starred in a Nintendo commercial together way back in 2010. So, while sources say the couple appeared to be getting their flirt on at the SkySpace Launch Party, they may just be great friends.

However, the pair was also seen attending a concert together this week at The Roxy.

As far as Beaumon's résumé goes, he's acted in numerous television shows and films, but he might be best known for playing young Benjamin Linus on Lost. He's also guest starred Criminal Minds and Law & Order: SVU, as well as Disney XD's Kickin' It. Plus, Beaumon starred in the ABC series Red Widow and appeared in several episodes of the Netflix series The Killing.

I quit being a vegetarian when I was pregnant and I don't feel bad about it

I found myself sitting in a fancy restaurant nearly in tears, because I was five months pregnant, and all I wanted was a steak. After six years as a vegetarian, the craving hit me so hard and unexpectedly I didn’t know how to handle it. The scent of perfectly cooked steaks wafted toward my table as my husband and I settled in for our anniversary dinner. I hemmed and hawed over the menu choices, but I couldn’t escape my red meat craving. It was all-consuming. I justified it by saying the baby needed it and reluctantly placed my order. Then I ate the steak and never looked back.

I became a vegetarian as a teenager when many of my friends were opting for a vegan or vegetarian lifestyle, as well. While I watched the horrific documentaries on animal cruelty, I was never able to emotionally open myself up to the anti-meat propaganda. Still, becoming a vegetarian appealed to me. It was a new challenge. I hoped it might help with my running as a cross-country athlete. Mostly, I knew it would irk my parents to no end.

I didn’t mind being a vegetarian, though I wasn’t terribly passionate about it. It was easy to maintain my diet since so many of my friends were committed to a vegetarian lifestyle. It started as a habit and eventually evolved into who I was. I liked hiking. I was an English major. I didn’t eat meat. It was how I defined myself through high school and college.

More: Prince Harry had an HIV test live on Facebook because he really is that awesome

Even after college graduation, I stuck with my vegetarian diet out of habit and a certain streak of teenage rebellion (because my parents told me when I started, that it would last a week, and I was having none of that).

But things quickly changed after I became pregnant. I was no longer able to sustain myself on cheap cafeteria cheese pizzas, ramen noodles and off-brand golden puffs cereal. I was definitely not able to keep up a whole lifestyle built around proving to my parents that I could be a vegetarian if I put my mind to it. My body was telling me very clearly what I needed, and in that moment at the restaurant, I needed a steak.

If I had truly been morally dedicated to vegetarianism, it would have been a whole different story. I respect people who make the conscious choice to abstain from animal products. I know it can be a healthy and balanced lifestyle. If being a vegetarian was a part of my life that I felt passionate about, I would have fought through the craving and found a suitable substitute.

More: I had to leave my evangelical church to deal with my depression

Instead, my pregnant urge to eat red meat made me realize that being a vegetarian wasn't for me; I had merely spent the last six years trying to "prove something." I stayed a vegetarian for a while because I wanted to show my parents I was serious about it, then I continued as a vegetarian because I had absorbed it as a part of my identity and didn't want to look like a "poser." I was never doing it for me, and it took being pregnant to see how ridiculous it was for me to strictly adhere to a diet I didn't believe in or necessarily like.

Now, another six years later, I eat a mostly pescetarian diet, because that seems to be what my body handles best. Vegan and vegetarian foods are still a staple in my life, but they aren’t my whole life, and they don’t define me. I adapt my eating habits to the needs of my body as I change and age; my relationship with my diet is much healthier because I listen to my body, instead of making myself fit into a certain box.

Demi Lovato isn't afraid to admit she encouraged Nick Jonas to dump his ex

Best friends Nick Jonas and Demi Lovato are currently taking the world by storm on their Future Now Tour. The pair also grace the newest cover of Billboard magazine. Inside, they spilled some serious secrets that have us saying, "OMG!"

Jonas got real during the pair's Billboard interview about his breakup with ex-girlfriend Olivia Culpo, sharing that Lovato helped him through the tough split and that she was one of the first people he called after it happened. However, Lovato isn't afraid to admit that she was never a fan of the former Miss Universe in the first place.

"I internalize things, so we have this rule that we never want to hear about it in a tweet or something. She'd read me the riot act, so she's the third person I call — my dad, Joe, then Demi. She was like, 'Just go, create and be free.' She also said some other things," Jonas told Billboard.

Lovato, being the queen of candid responses and honesty, wasn't afraid to share everything she told Jonas after his breakup.

"I go, 'Honestly, I didn't like her anyway.' It's not because she’s mean or anything, but he has such a great sense of humor and I want him to be with someone that makes him laugh," Lovato said. "I can tell if something's up because he'll close off."

Yikes! Is Lovato calling Culpo boring? While the model and pageant winner is obviously beautiful and always seemed super sweet, she also seemed a little stiff. It sounds like Lovato thinks she was a serious snooze.

The "Confident" singer also admitted that she even encouraged Jonas to dump Culpo before they split.

"He's a guy in his twenties and he's famous and he likes to have a lot of fun," she told Billboard. "Listen, even when he was in a relationship, I was like, 'Get out of that. You could f*** anybody that you want right now, so have fun and do that."

More: Commitment issues may have caused Demi Lovato & Wilmer Valderrama's split

Well, at least she's honest! Lovato recently broke up with Wilmer Valderrama after six years of dating. She told Billboard that she's not looking for another serious relationship anytime soon.

"It's not on my mind, but I welcome anything," Lovato said about dating. "I'll have fun. But a relationship... I won't want that for a long time."
