Slow cooker pot roast sliders

$

Pot roast isn't just for eating alone. Throw it on a bun and call it a slider! It's a comforting Sunday dish that is perfect for lunch or dinner!

Pot Roast Sliders

Who doesn't love a slider? These fresh little sandwiches are packed full of flavor and are a breeze to put together. They are great for using leftover pot roast but even better when made fresh. We topped ours with a little arugula but they would be great topped with cheese, too. The homemade horseradish sauce really pulls these sandwiches together and is a great addition to the flavor department.

Pot roast slider recipe

Adapted from Alton Brown

Yields 12-15 sliders

Ingredients:

  • 4 pound chuck roast
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • 1 cup red wine
  • 1 cup beef broth
  • 12-15 small slider buns
  • Arugula
  • Horseradish sauce

Directions:

  1. Add pot roast to 6-quart slow cooker and season with salt, pepper and garlic powder. Pour red wine and beef broth around the roast.
  2. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until meat is fork tender and pulls apart. Shred all the beef in the slow cooker and leave it to soak up the juices.
  3. Open up all buns, spread with a little horseradish sauce, add about 1/3 cup meat to the bun and top with arugula.

Horseradish sauce recipe

Yield 1-1/4 cups

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup creme fraiche or sour cream
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated horseradish or jarred prepared grated horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Champagne vinegar
  • 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground pepper

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl add all ingredients and mix well. Cover and let sit overnight in the fridge to let flavors develop.

Favorite 2012 reality winners (plus two "losers" we love)

2012 was full of big winners on reality TV! We take a look back at a few of our favorites.

Amazing Race HostAmazing Race Season 20's Rachel and Dave Brown
Rachel and Dave didn't just make it to the end of the show. The couple, a combat pilot and his army wife, visited 22 cities in 10 countries. They also came in first a total of eight times during their season, the most single-leg wins in the Amazing Race's history. Aside from the $1 million they won from the season finale, they also won a whole cluster of other prizes including trips to Saint Lucia, Costa Rica, Grenada and New Zealand, more money and two 2013 Ford Tauruses. While the season filmed at the end of 2011, we didn't see the outcome until earlier this year. So, we're callin' them 2012's big winners!

Cassadee Pope before The VoiceThe Voice's Cassadee Pope
Nearly everyone held out at least a little hope for the sweet rocker girl from Palm Beach, Florida. Before coming onto The Voice, Cassadee was actually in a relatively successful pop rock band, Hey Monday, who opened for some seriously famous bands, including Fall Out Boy and All Time Low. Cassadee took a break from Hey Monday, though, to try to make it big on her own. Her risk paid off, as she beat out a host of other amazing performers in the third season of The Voice.

Chris Costentino wins Top Chef MastersTop Chef Masters'Chris Cosentino
Chris Cosentino has mastered a food art that few others have even tried. His specialty is offal dishes, made from what Anthony Bourdain would call the "nasty bits." Cosentino runs a food blog and a restaurant that specializes in serving up tasty recipes made from the entrails and organs of animals. Gross, right? But chefs and foodies all over the world enjoy Cosentino's food. We think he's worthy of the win just for having the guts to try it.

Dmitry Sholokjhov of Project RunwayProject Runway's Dmitry Sholokhov
Dmitry put everyone else to shame during the last season of Project Runway. The onetime ballroom dancer's looks were always fierce, striking and beautiful... among other descriptors. Most importantly, his achievements were never a fluke or won by the skin of his teeth. He started off as a strong designer and continued to put out glamorous, well-designed clothes on a consistent basis. Hopefully Dmitry makes another Project Runway appearance soon — we love that guy!

Jeremy Britt Biggest LoserBiggest Loser's Jeremy and Conda Britt
During his time at the Biggest Loser camp, winner Jeremy Britt lost 199 pounds . His sister, Conda, lost 115. While the show takes weight loss to the extreme , Jeremy and Conda still worked their butts off and supported each other in an effort to gain a more healthy and successful lifestyle. We think that's awesome!

In case you failed to notice, we've had a lot of guys winning this year and that's just not cool enough. If nothing else, feel free to use this list as inspiration for your New Year's resolution. Let's turn 2013's future list into a girl-strong event!

Janet Jackson, Wissam Al Mana

Janet Jackson and Wissam Al Mana have reportedly agreed to spend their happily ever afters together. Word that the couple is engaged and planning a mighty big wedding celebration has gone public!

Claiming to have the exclusive scoop on Janet Jackson's engagement, Us Weekly reports that Qatari billionaire Al Mana "gave her a huge, expensive ring" earlier this year.

How big the engagement ring is remains a mystery, but with money seemingly not a concern, Wissam is said to have gone all out for his love.

An unnamed source commented, "She's afraid it will get lost, so she keeps it locked up!"

Janet talks Jackson family drama>>

The Jackson–Al Mana wedding is believed to be set for next spring in Qatar, and naturally, no expenses will be spared for the big day.

The affair "will cost millions," a source described as a "Jackson insider" went on to gossip. "He is flying in all of Janet's friends and family on private jets... He wants to get a top chef to create a custom menu."

Celebody: Lose 60 lbs like Janet Jackson>>

This will be the third marriage for Janet Jackson, who first exchanged vows with James DeBarge in 1984. They split a year later. She was then married to René Elizondo Jr. from 1991 to 2000. After a long relationship with Jermaine Dupri, the singer began dating the billionaire businessman in 2010.

Sharing the photo seen here of herself and Al Mana in May, the 46-year-old tweeted, "Spending my bday w/my baby!"

Speaking of babies, "She wants kids," the Jackson source added of Janet and Wissam's plans for a family. "If she can't have them, she will adopt."

Taylor Swift tops the list for being "good"

Taylor Swift isn't just at the top of the music charts for 2012 — she's also at the top of DoSomething.org's "Top 20 Celebs Gone Good of 2012" list for her charity work.

Taylor Swift

If you were looking for the top do-gooders in Hollywood for 2012, we have the official list from DoSomething.org, which released its list of the top philanthropists on Wednesday. Ranking No. 1 in the "Top 20 Celebs Gone Good of 2012" list is Taylor Swift, who is also at the top of many music lists for 2012.

Swift is followed by Miley Cyrus and People's "Sexiest Man Alive" for the year, Channing Tatum. The No. 1 and No. 2 positions, held respectively by Swift and Cyrus, mark huge leaps up the charts for the young entertainers. Swift was ranked No. 20 for 2011, while Cyrus held the No. 18 position.

The "I Knew You Were Trouble" singer managed to leapfrog to the top not only by donating $4 million to the Country Hall of Fame Museum but also by continuing her work with kids and cancer charities. She also received the Ripple of Hope Award from the Robert F. Kennedy Center, becoming the youngest person to ever receive that honor.

Cyrus, besides enjoying lots of time in tabloids for her latest shenanigans, also took the time to help numerous organizations, including Make-A-Wish Foundation, VH1 Save The Music Foundation, Saving SPOT! Dog Rescue and the TOMS One Day without Shoes challenge.

Last year's No. 1 celebrity was Lady Gaga, who still managed to rank No. 4 this year along with a host of other musicians, including Jay-Z and Beyoncé, Selena Gomez and Pink. Sports stars were surprisingly light this year, with only Lebron James and Drew Brees making the list.

As Naomi Hirabayashi, chief marketing officer of DoSomething.org, said in a statement, "Musicians definitely dominated this year's Celebs Gone Good list. From TSwift and Gaga to the Biebs, rockers really set an example for others by using their platforms to effect positive change. It gives us all something to sing about!"

The list was determined by a panel of social media/mobile specialists, along with Facebook voting by the fans. The criteria involved several aspects of charity, including giving money, taking action and inspiring others.

Several other categories were also announced this week, including the "Fan Favorite" category, which Demi Lovato won after a vote on Facebook. The organization also released its predictions for the new year with the "Big in 2013" list. Some of the hot stars to watch out for who are also inspiring to teens are Hayden Panettiere, Hunter Hayes and Bella Thorne.

DoSomething.org is one of the largest charitable organizations for teens and social change in the United States. The group is hoping to have 5 million active members by 2015.

Here is the "Top 20 Celebs Gone Good of 2012" list:

1. Taylor Swift
2. Miley Cyrus
3. Channing Tatum
4. Lady Gaga
5. Justin Bieber
6. Robin Roberts
7. Pink
8. Lebron James
9. Selena Gomez
10. Ian Somerhalder
11. Jay-Z and Beyoncé

Jessica Simpson will continue with Weight Watchers

Jessica Simpson's new Weight Watchers commercial hits the airwaves, and it turns out the weight loss company was in on the pregnancy secret.

Jessica Simpson

It looks like all of the questions surrounding Jessica Simpson's continued involvement with Weight Watchers have finally been answered.

On Tuesday, just after Simpson posted her pregnancy news, the weight loss company tweeted, "Congrats to @JessicaSimpson, Eric and big-sister-to-be Maxwell! Your WW family is so thrilled for you. What an amazing year you've had!"

All of the rumors that the company was upset with the Fashion Star judge proved to be unfounded. In fact, Weight Watchers was in on the secret the whole time. In her new Weight Watchers ad released on Wednesday, Simpson says, "Becoming healthy has become a part of who I am, which is great timing because I'm having another baby."

The fashion mogul lost over 50 pounds on the Weight Watchers program, and she looks positively healthy and glowing in her new commercial. Even though her body is back in shape, she will take a step back from the company while she is pregnant.

In a statement released on Wednesday, Weight Watchers said, "[Jessica] will not be following the program during the pregnancy while her weight and well-being are monitored by her obstetrician, as is recommended for any woman during pregnancy."

The biggest question has been, will the singer return to the program after the birth of her second child? Well, that question was also answered by the statement: "After she gives birth, Jessica and her doctor will decide when she may resume following the Weight Watchers program."

There it is, the official news that Simpson will continue as a spokesperson with the brand. It's not surprising, given that she has a strong fan base and Weight Watchers has also kept singer Jennifer Hudson as a spokesperson for two years now.

In the meantime, enjoy the pregnancy and the healthy eating, Jessica!

Bethenny Frankel's separation: Was cheating to blame?

Bethenny Frankel is "devastated" over her decision to separate from husband Jason Hoppy. What went wrong inside their marriage? One gossip source weighs in, as well as the Skinnygirl creator herself.

Bethenny Frankel, Jason Hoppy, Bryn

Bethenny Frankel has never been afraid to admit that she and Jason Hoppy have issues. In light of their decision to separate after two years of marriage, a friend of the reality star is speaking out in hopes of putting a stop to cheating rumors.

"No one cheated," a friend of Bethenny Frankel is quoted as telling Us Weekly. "They're both devastated... They grew apart. She is very upset."

A second source added that Bethenny "feels like she disappointed herself. She disappointed her daughter and she disappointed her fans."

Who isn't Bethenny Frankel cheating with?>>

This past spring, as cheating rumors swirled, the talk show host elaborated on the difficulties in her marriage with Jason Hoppy, telling People,"Nothing comes easily for me. Being successful in business doesn't come easy for me. Marriage doesn't come easily for me. You have to fight for everything.

"Our core issues are wanting the other person to be somebody they are not," she continued. "Jason is more balanced. He doesn't want to work 24 hours a day. He wants to play golf and go out with his friends."

While their opposites-attract nature initially was a positive aspect of the relationship, it proved to be a hindrance in the long run.

Bethenny Frankel explained, "The irony is, we chose each other for who the person is — and then sometimes you want it both ways."

Bethenny Frankel split: The Real Housewives curse strikes again>>

Still, the reality star insists the presence of cameras and public interest in their personal affairs isn't responsible for the end of their marriage.

"Our issues are our issues, and I can't say reality TV exacerbates that," she added. "We had our issues when we were dating. We always had the struggle to accept one another."

McDreamy to the rescue! Dempsey bids on Tully's Coffee

$

As it turns out, Patrick Dempsey is just like his character on Grey's Anatomy: Hot... and with a hero complex.

Patrick Dempsey at Transformers premiereGrey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey has confirmed that he and a group of others are making a last-ditch effort to save a Seattle-based coffee chain. No, Starbucks doesn't need a bailout. But the much smaller Tully's does, and Dempsey wants to come to the rescue.

Tully's, a Seattle-based coffee shop chain, has 46 company-run stores in Washington, California, and a few franchised locations elsewhere in the United States.

In October 2012, the well-loved coffee chain filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy. The chain claims that without serious help, it won't have enough cash to stay afloat past mid-January.

Luckily for them, Patrick Dempsey earns plenty of money from his Grey's gig and needs somewhere to invest it. Plus, he's just a stand-up guy who wants to help his home away from home.

"I've always loved this city, and with the purchase of Tully's Coffee, I plan to spend a lot of time in Seattle and the stores connecting with the community and growing the brand," Dempsey said in a statement.

The purchase of Tully's would not only save the chain of coffee houses, but also 500 jobs throughout the community. Jobs are certainly important right now.

While Dempsey's group did not release its bidding information, Dempsey claims the offer is competitive. Other interested investors have offered to pay $1.3 million to the owners, as well as take on the multimillion-dollar debts currently owed by the chain. It's not just as easy as picking the highest bidder, though. A hearing will be held on Jan. 11, 2013, when a judge will look over all the bids and make his final decision on the fate of Tully's .

Patrick Dempsey is originally from Lewiston, Maine, but spends a large portion of his life in Seattle, where they film the hit medical drama Grey's Anatomy. As Grey's continues to stay strong with its loyal viewers, Dempsey appears to be willing to stay in Seattle long enough to make other commitments to the city.

Important question: If Dempsey wins Tully's... will craft services get free coffee and a barista on their team?

The frazzled mommy's top 10 New Year's resolutions

$
0

It’s that time again — time to make a list of New Year's resolutions that we won’t manage to keep past this time next week. Whether we resolve to lose enough weight to fit into our high school jeans or overcome our obsession with expensive shoes, we all fall into the resolution trap.

How about we lose the pretense and make some realistic resolutions instead? I'll start.

Resolution 1

Make more — not less — annoying FB updates such as, "My kitchen floor is filthy and I don't want to wash it. I need a sister wife." Why not tell everyone how I really feel?

Resolution 2

Eat more chocolate and less vegetables. Vegetables give me heartburn — and I need those chocolate endorphins to keep me just a few steps ahead of the preschooler.

Check out these dark secrets>>

Resolution 3

Stop pretending to be on a diet and then gorging myself on my kids' leftovers. While some people can pass on grilled cheese crusts and dried mac and cheese leftovers, I find them irresistible.

Resolution 4

Quit attempting to channel Martha Stewart and accept the fact that my house looks like a HG reality TV horror story. If the stars are aligned this year, there just may be a reality show filmed in my living room.

If you are truly feeling motivated, teach your preschooler to pick up>>

Resolution 5

Quit lying to my kids. Yes, I love you and you are adorable in all your 5-year-old splendor, but please bring the earplugs because no, I really don't want to hear you sing The Wheels on the Bus one more time.

Resolution 6

Get over my irrational fear of wet socks and dirty countertops. To the best of my knowledge, no mom has ever become incapacitated by a bit of dirt or filth. Leave it be.

How to deal with your child's little white lies>>

Resolution 7

Think of some more creative excuses when calling into work sick. What? Who says I don't need the day off to mourn the untimely passing of my pet hamster?

Resolution 8

Give up on keeping up with the laundry and use more deodorant. In fact, buy deodorant for every member of the family, including the preschooler. Less laundry means a happier mommy.

Save yourself the trouble and teach your kids to do the laundry>>

Resolution 9

I will stop feeling guilty when dinner consists of string cheese and graham crackers with jam. Jam is a fruit, right? Point this out to your family.

Resolution 10

No more false pretenses in the bedroom —  I don't have a headache. I'm just plain tired from the hours of Candy Land, chasing a toddler and picking up endless piles of stuff left lying around the house. But if you did the dishes, that might be a turn on… just sayin'.

You've just finished taking down the tree and putting away the last of the stockings, and the house feels bare. Here are a few decorating ideas to make that warm and fuzzy feeling last all winter long.

For some reason every time you take down those holiday decorations and put the furniture back where it belongs, the house seems more empty than it did before the season began. Here are a few ideas for filling up the house with warmth to get you through the chill of the winter.

Ebb and Glow Candlestick

They are such an inexpensive way to transform the feel of any part of your home and can help you go from Christmas bulbs to winter twilight in no time at all. We love this Ebb and Glow Candlestick set from Modcloth.com to add a wintery feel without glowing of the holiday season.

Faux Sheepskin Throw

This Faux Sheepskin Throw from Potterybarn.com will give you the warm and fuzzies while reminding you of a snow-filled day.

Ready for a reason to get off the couch? Here are 10 fitness tips for winter workouts>>

Safavieh White Lauralie Ivory Shell lamp

Lamps

Even the most well-decorated room can feel much more like home with a lamp or two. Adding lamplight to your family room as you take down the last of the tree lights can be the perfect change from Christmas to cozy. Try something like this Safavieh White Lauralie Ivory Shell lamp set from Lowes.com to prolong the glow of the winter season with a little pizzazz.

Table runner

Table runner

You've taken down the gingerbread house and the poinsettia, the rotating plates of cookies have long been eaten and now something is missing. If you are looking for an accent to warm up your cold kitchen space, try a new table runner to top off the room. This Champagne with Bead Work Table Runner from Pier1.com will add an elegant touch to your table that will last much longer than those holiday desserts.

Have you had enough time inside? Here are a few outdoor winter activities for kids>>

Bonus idea: Winter prints

Do you have gorgeous photos from the holidays or were you lucky enough to be surrounded by snow snapping pictures? You can bring the memories inside by having your prints transferred to canvas that can be hung anywhere in your home. Try sites like CanvasOnDemand.com or Uprinting.com to transform your favorite shots into works of wintery art.

No matter what you do to balance the sparkle of the winter season with the empty space where your Christmas tree sat, your family and friends will appreciate your attention to detail and the cozy space you've created as they try to stay warm for the season.

New Year's resolutions for pet owners

$

While you’re busy jotting down your resolutions for the new year, don’t forget the furry friend at your side giving you a paw of encouragement. Whether it’s running your first marathon, eating healthier or taking on a new hobby, your pet could be hoping and wishing to make it on your list of resolutions. Believe it or not, Fido and Fluffy have a few bullet points on their to-do list that might match yours. Let us be the first to tell you exactly what your pet hopes for in 2013.

Woman after run with dog

Commit to an exercise regimen

The holiday pounds come packing every year and if your clothes are feeling the pinch, your pet might be feeling the winter weight, too. If sneakers are involved in your New Year's resolutions, make it a point to squeeze in a daily walk or run with your pup. Walking your dog twice per day is recommended for a happy and healthy pup. Don't stow away those skinny jeans just yet, getting out and about with your pooch can also help trim your waistline, too.

Unplug

If your pet thinks your new iPhone is a fancy chew toy and your shiny laptop has become his favorite lap seat, it's time to get the hint. Make it a point to incorporate some cuddle time for your furry friend, no television, no cellphones, no emails. Just you and your pet. Trust us, a time out from technology will be good for your mental health as well as your pet's well-being.

Pearly whites

Poor dental hygiene can be detrimental to your pet's health. Just like we promise to floss nightly after a trip to the dentist, we should commit to brush our pet's teeth regularly . Puppy breath is one thing, but extreme bad breath could mean your pet is suffering from serious oral bacterial issues. Visit your vet and get your pet started on a regular dental regimen.

Weight watchers

Are you saying goodbye to fast food in 2013? Then do the same for Fido. Proper nutrition is a must for the prolonged health of your pet. Yes, higher nutrition means you'll have to shell out a few extra bucks on pet food, but if you're not willing to eat happy meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner, neither should your pet.

Mark the territory

Your pet is part of the family. Make it known by enforcing proper tagging. Whether it's micro-chipping, updating your information on the pet registry or getting your pet a sparkly new name tag, resolve to mark your pet and let the world know where he belongs.

Forbes' "most bankable" actors puts ladies on top

Forbes' "most bankable" actors list is a lesson on returned investment. Yes, it's math, but it's pretty interesting.

Natalie Portman for Dior

Ever wonder how those multimillion-dollar salaries pan out for movie companies? According to Forbes, it's all about which actors you're paying. The money-centric magazine crunched some numbers and came up with a list of actors and actresses who bring the biggest returns on a movie company's investment.

Natalie Portman is the most bankable actor in Hollywood. Based on some crazy equation involving the money she earned in comparison to the money spent to make her movies and the money those movies make at the box office, Portman's name earns movie companies a whopping $42.70 for every dollar they originally paid to Natalie Portman.

In the most basic translation, that means if they paid Portman only $1 million, the movie would still be likely to make almost $43 million.

That's the kind of math that leads to the perpetual overpaying of actors. Take, for instance, Eddie Murphy. Twenty or so years ago, Eddie was a big name with a big salary who earned gigantic returns. These days, Eddie isn't quite so famous, yet he still demands a large paycheck. For every dollar a company shells out to get his name on the cast list, he only brings in $2.30.

But enough about the undesirability of Eddie Murphy. On to the rest of the list!

The second most bankable actor was another young lady, one we all hate to love. According to Forbes, Kristen Stewart is a worthy investment. For every dollar Kristen Stewart is paid, she returns $40.60.Kristen and Rob at Breaking Dawn premiere

Stewart is in a rather unique situation, though. While Natalie Portman still makes a modest salary, Kristen Stewart is one of the highest-paid actresses this year.

For Kristen Stewart to be so bankable, her movies have to be really, really big hits. And they were... especially in the case of Twilight. According to Forbes, Stewart earned $25 million for her role in the last two Twilight movies. The films have grossed $3.3 billion and counting.

Rounding out the rest of the list are Shia LaBeouf , Robert Pattinson, who pulls in $31.70 per dollar paid, and Daniel Radcliffe who rakes in $30.50 for each dollar he makes.

This year brought instant classics like Brave and ParaNorman to the silver screen. It also brought a handful of duds that won’t leave your family rushing to the rental store. Find out what we selected as the worst kid movies of 2012.

Six family movie flops

This year brought instant classics like Brave and ParaNorman to the silver screen.

It also brought a handful of duds that won’t leave your family rushing to the rental store. Find out what we selected as the worst kid movies of 2012

Journey 2: The Mysterious Island

While this follow-up to the successful Journey to the Center of the Earth has a great message about family and acceptance, it has a shallow plot that doesn’t warrant a re-watch. Seemingly put together just to create a 3-D experience, it has nothing we didn’t already see in Jurassic Park. The performances are endearing, but that isn’t enough to save this flop.

Ice Age: Continental Drift

The Ice Age franchise pushes on with another installment that focuses on cliche sentiments about family. Fan-favorite Scrat doesn’t disappoint in his endless quest for an acorn, but overall this trite sequel does little to impress. Kids who really adore the characters may love it, but parents and older siblings won’t be engaged.

Find 4 family movies that make you feel thankful>>

The Three Stooges

A talented supporting cast can’t save this remake from the Farrelly brothers. Known for their adult comedies, the duo took on the beloved Stooges for a modern day spin. Even with a novel reality TV show plot line, this juvenile film doesn’t bring much to the table. You’re better off showing your children some of the classic Stooges films.

Mirror Mirror

Stand-out director Tarsem Singh brought viewers the visually stunning but violent fable, The Fall. In Mirror Mirror, he approaches younger audiences with one of the most beloved fairy tales, Snow White. The result is gorgeous to look at but otherwise unappealing. Kids will love the bright colors and slapstick, but most of this messy film will leave adults groaning.

Tips for your child's first movie>>

Diary of a Wimpy Kid: Dog Days

If your kid is a die-hard fan of Diary of a Wimpy Kid, it won’t matter how bad the film series gets. True fans will love this summertime installment featuring protagonist Greg Heffley’s summer job shenanigans. If you’re looking for a great film to watch with your family, this probably isn’t the best choice. Gauge your kid’s interest in the book series before taking this one on.

Dr Seuss' The Lorax

While entertaining and pretty to look at, this film bears very little resemblance to the original, beloved children’s storybook, The Lorax. The elegant, meaningful story of The Lorax is distorted into a full-length film full of the kind of jokes and frenzy kids are used to seeing in little kid movies. At the very least, read the book before you watch the movie.

Cutest celebrity baby bumps of 2012

$

2012 brought on a Hollywood baby boom. We take a look at five of the cutest baby bumps of the year, from first-time moms to parenting pros. Who worked the baby bump the best this year?

Reese Witherspoon

In typical fashion, actress and style icon Reese Witherspoon kept quiet about her pregnancy with her third child, her first with husband Jim Toth. When photographed during her pregnancy, 36-year-old Witherspoon showed off a breezy style, alternating between jeans and baseball caps and flowy dresses, and always looking comfortable. Toth and Witherspoon welcomed son Tennessee James in September. Tennessee joins brother and sister Deacon and Ava, Witherspoon’s children with ex Ryan Phillippe.

Vanessa Lachey

First-time mom Vanessa Lachey wins cutest baby bump posted to Twitter. The 32-year-old mom wasn’t shy about sharing her full-term belly with her followers shortly before baby Camden was born. Lachey is taking a healthy approach to working her way back to her pre-baby body. “I was a big workout girl when I was pregnant, especially in the beginning,” Lachey told Shape Magazine. “I took the stairs whenever possible and walked around just to stay active because it’s all about how you take care of yourself during pregnancy that matters after.”

Could Kate Middleton be having twins?>>

Drew Barrymore

Though shy about her baby bump, Drew Barrymore gets points for staying comfortable and fit during her pregnancy with daughter Olive. She was photographed heading to yoga, a great activity for expecting moms to stay stress-free and limber while gearing up for labor and delivery. Though Barrymore never announced her pregnancy, she was seen publicly at various times in her glowing state. Olive is Barrymore’s first child with husband Will Kopelman.

Megan Fox

After reportedly only gaining 23 pounds, Megan Fox is already back in slender shape. It’s no wonder that earlier this year, she had one of the cutest baby bumps in Hollywood. The 26-year-old first-time mom looked glitzy and glamorous when spotted around town. Fox spoke to E!News about her love for newborn Noah. “I know people always say that,” Fox says, “but I love him so much it hurts, and it's an interesting feeling to have because I never felt that before." Noah is Fox’s first child with Brian Austin Green. She is also stepmom to Green’s older son, Kassius.

Kristen Bell

Expecting her first child with Dax Shepard, 32-year-old Kristen Bell is already showing off a cute baby bump. Shepard and Bell are not married, and they’ve made this choice because of their convictions regarding marriage equality. The couple doesn’t want to marry until their gay and lesbian friends have the same rights. "We're just standing up for what we believe in. Period,” Bell told The Advocate. Shepard and Bell have been engaged for two years.
