Bristol Palin gender reveal

Bristol Palin gender reveal

It looks like Grandma Sarah Palin will welcome a granddaughter. Bristol shared this photo on Instagram, in which she revealed in the caption that she is expecting a baby girl. Dressed in black and wearing pink fingernail polish, the 24-year-old cupped her seven-month baby bump as she stood outside with her dog peeking out behind her.

Looks like she's going to have to get used to a whole new world: parenting a girl after years of parenting a little boy. Tripp, her son with ex-boyfriend Levi Johnston, will turn 7 in December. Bristol announced in June that she was pregnant again, initially calling it a "huge disappointment" to friends and family before later backtracking and saying the pregnancy was planned.

"So here are the things you should all get straight before you continue to mock me, judge me, and talk about me. None of us are perfect," she wrote on her blog. "I made a mistake, but it's not the mistake all these giddy a$$holes have loved to assume. This pregnancy was actually planned."

MoreLeighton Meester and Adam Brody's baby gets a name with an unusual twist

The Palin family is fond of unique names, so we can't wait to hear what she will name her daughter. Palin's siblings are named Trig, Track, Willow and Piper. All the boys have names that start with "T," including her son Tripp and her own dad, Todd.

Bristol may give her daughter a name that starts with the letter "S" after her mom, Sarah, such as Season, Sunny or Sparrow. She may decide to stay with the "T" baby name theme, and give her daughter a unique name like Terrah or Tensley. She may also decide to jump on the hottest celebrity baby name trend, which is to give daughters names that are traditionally thought of as boy names, such as Arlo, Charlie or Dylan.

Kourtney Kardashian makes a stunning and smart decision about Scott Disick

Kourtney Kardashian has reportedly decided that if Disick, with whom she shares three children, can't take care of himself, he certainly can't be trusted to care for their kids.

While a source close to the exes, who split three months ago after photos surfaced of Disick getting cozy with another woman while Kardashian was home taking care of their children, said that "everything is getting finalized" and "nothing is in writing yet," one thing is clear: Kardashian does not trust him with their kids.

"Kourtney won't allow Scott split custody," the source told People. "She thinks he is a drunk mess and not fit to be a parent without supervision."

In fact, Kardashian will "only agree to supervised and limits [sic] visits," the insider said.

More: Scott Disick's scary texts may prove he's hit rock bottom

If Disick wants to spend any significant time with his children, he may want to clean his act up and at the very least stop posting about his exploits on Twitter and Instagram, because Kardashian "keeps an eye on Scott via social media," the source revealed.

"[Kardashian has] come a long way and instead of getting upset about Scott's latest shenanigans, it helps her realize splitting was for the best.

"Although being a single mom is not easy, Kourtney is used to taking care of the kids by herself," the source said. "She has them on a great schedule and everything runs smoothly even when she is alone with them. She had some nanny help, too, since she is working, but she spends as much time as possible with the kids."

What does Disick think of all this? He refused to comment to People on their story, but he just posted what could be a hopeful message about the breakup on Instagram.

I use TV as a babysitter, and my kids are just fine

I promise myself on a regular basis that I will never buy my kids an iPad or turn over my tablet during road trips. I'm a firm believer in imagination and of looking out the window. As a wee young'un, if I were for some strange reason left at Lake Worth Beach, I would have had no issue navigating my way back to my house, 10 miles and two left turns away. Why? Because I looked out the window. Meanwhile, my friends' older kids can't even remember how to get to soccer practice on the other side of their school. They pile into the car, turn on their devices and tune out the world around them. I don't want them for my kids. Given my genes, they're going to be spacey enough as-is. At least force them to space out on the scenes around them.

More: I let my kids have a ton of screen time, and now I don't feel so bad

That said: I'm not always anti-device. My spectacular childhood fashion sense came from the likes of Punky Brewster and Kids Incorporated. I played pretend as the cowboys from my grandma's show, Bonanza, and as my cousins' favorite entertainment, TMNT. And, let's be real: Most '90s kids own their fair share of books featured on Reading Rainbow. So, television clearly has its place in a kid's life.

However, there's this stigma that has been placed on TV that has greatly influenced moms' perspective of how they use it. Most families have a fairly strict number of hours they let their kids zone out on the Disney Channel per day/week. And that makes sense... especially for kids who are easily enthralled and unwilling to find their own entertainment without being forced.

More: 13 Things moms wouldn't have without their kids — good, bad & in between

But what happens when their five weekly hours are run through by Thursday afternoon? It's Friday. You've had the longest day ever at work and you're two hours away from the babysitter arriving and a romantic night out with your partner. You need a nap, a shower and a session with the tweezers. Putting time restraints on television and making it out to be the devil isn't helping anyone. If you back down, you're not keeping to the rules and you're going to feel guilty. If you stick to your guns, you're going to fall asleep in your chicken Alfredo. No bueno.

The fact is that it doesn't need to be this complicated. We need to stop making television out to be a bad influence in general. Perhaps we should spend a little more time controlling the quality of programming instead of the quantity of time on the couch.

More importantly, we should consider what we're capable of accomplishing if we give in to Clifford or Girl Meets World. I can empty the dishwasher during an Adventure Time mini-episode. I can curl up on the couch, with kid, and get in a power nap during one soul-crushing bout of Liv and Maddie. And, honestly, is there anything better than hearing cackles of laughter at the Penguins of Madagascar while you finally, for the first time in days, take time to read another chapter of Mindy Kaling's new book?

Think about how you feel when you don't get enough sleep. Think about the last time you regrettably snapped at your kid because they asked you to play Barbies when you were trying to vacuum. Inspiring letter from bearded woman is a testament to true beauty

Harnaam Kaur started growing hair on her face when she was just 11 years old. And this wasn't just a stray chin hair — it was, well, a beard. Thanks to a medical condition called Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS), the British elementary school student had an overabundance of male hormones coursing through her body. At a time when girls are sprouting up and told they're growing into women, she was sprouting hair and growing what quickly became a full beard.

As one would expect, her peers and even some adults were not understanding and she was taunted and bullied for her appearance. Eventually it got so bad she said she considered suicide. Thankfully, instead of that tragic ending, she found a happy beginning when she was baptized as a Sikh at age 16. As part of the religion is not cutting one's hair — any of it — she decided to stop fighting her facial hair.

"I would never ever go back now and remove my facial hair because it's the way God made me and I'm happy with the way I am," she said.

And now, at 24, she finally feels at home in her own body and said she feels more feminine than ever, enjoying dress shopping and manicures with her girlfriends. A far cry from her early days hiding in the shadows, now she's a popular beauty blogger and model, sharing stunningly beautiful images on her Instagram. (Go follow her, now!)

But her journey to self-acceptance was not easy, and as a way to reach out to other women and girls with PCOS — it's a heartbreakingly common syndrome, affecting one in every 10 to 15 women — she penned a letter to her younger self. Addressing herself as "Little Me," she gives her child self the encouragement, love and hope she wished she'd had then. And what she writes about her body, her femininity and her life will inspire you, no matter what challenges you're facing!

More: Historic women with true inner beauty

"Dear Little me, I have not spoken to you in such a long time. It's your older self here writing you this letter. I hope you are well. I can see the struggles that you are facing; I can see it in your eyes that you feel like you don't belong. I feel it in your soul that you are struggling and you need some guidance. You quiver at the sight of people, you shudder at the touch of a stranger, and you drag your lifeless body everywhere that you go. If only you could see your own self worth and the gems that you have embedded inside your own beautiful heart. You have a heart of gold and you will empower many one day. Don't you see it? Can't you see just how amazing and beautiful you are? You drag yourself through life in the shadow of an unconfident girl. When will the spark inside you flame up and thunder across your body? When will you realise just how wonderful you are? How long before you actually stand up for yourself and shout out your inner voice? You need to make it heard. You don't see your self-worth, you don't love yourself, and you haven't embraced the compassion inside you that your soul is waiting for you to unleash. When will that time come when you unleash the real you? You need to speak louder, hold your head higher, make yourself be noticed, show people that you have a voice. You need to take strides with confidence; you need to be a bit prouder. Be proud of the beauty that you hold inside your body. Be proud of the strength that you have inside you that you will one day unleash.

I promise you that the world will one day read your story. You have no idea of just how many people will be inspired by your self-love, your strength, your self-empowerment. So baby sister, 'Little Me', find the inner strength to carry on living your life with pride. I know you want to end it all, I know you carve the sadness into your skin. Don't you realise that your body loves you, can't you see tears that your body is crying? Your body is telling you to stop as it sheds tears, tears of blood. Your body is such a blessing; your body carries your precious heart and your wonderful heart. If only you could see, if only you could hold your head up high. Open your big beautiful brown eyes and see; see what you have to life (sic) for, see what you are giving up and see the life's (sic) that you will later safe (sic).

I can feel you self consciously quiver when you try to speak up, your eyes, your beautiful big eyes hide even before they lay eyes on another. Use your voice to speak of your difficulties, be brave and tackles (sic) your issues head strong. The strength that you have inside is enough to shake mountains. Use it; use it to help yourself and others. Focus on your bright future which I promise that you will definitely have.

You will grow up to be a gorgeous young woman who will shake the normal societal standards of beauty. You will grow to be an activist, and you will mature to help men and women all over the world. Your self-love, your beauty, your self-esteem, your confidence will help empower the masses to love themselves and their bodies. You will show people what beauty truly is, and yes dear little sister it is YOU who has the power to do that; you will do it with all of the strength and love inside of you!

Your soul will shine, your aura will flourish and your self-love for your future diverse body will win the hearts of compassionate people. I promise you, that you are a survivor and you will conquer all of your battles that you will face growing up with might. You have the inner power to do all of this, so I am positive that you are able to overcome all problems that you are facing right now. Be positive, know that you are able to fight against life's battles and give it all that you have got, because Little Me you are fabulous, you are strength, you are confident, you are empowered and you are beautiful. All these qualities are embedded in you. Delve deep into your soul, reach for them and embrace them whole heartedly.

Dear Little Me.

Here I write you this letter hoping that you will read it and implant all the necessary lessons and messages into your heart and soul. This letter will be most important to you as you travel into the world of adulthood.

Dear Little Sister, little me,

I write to you this letter only to realise that you are now me that have (sic) Grown up into a beautiful self empowered young woman, and I can tell you one thing, you have done a very good job growing up. Thank you for going through all those battles and hardships with strength. Thank you for making me the woman that I am today.

I love you whole heartedly.

Malala Yousafzai's mom opens up about learning to read and write

This message has not been lost on Yousafzai's own mother, who recently opened up about her own literacy challenges. The 18-year-old Pakistani children's rights activist's mother, Tor Pekai, has spoken publicly for the first time, revealing that she has returned to school to learn to read and write. Her biggest challenge? Being nagged incessantly by her daughter to do her homework.

More: Director of He Named Me Malala on how to raise strong daughters

"I love it very much. I enjoy reading and writing and learning, but when I come home and they have given me homework, I put my bag in the corner — I say 'I can't be bothered,'" she told the audience at the Women in the World Summit in London. "But then Malala comes home and says, 'Where is your bag? Have you done your homework?' and I want to say 'Oh, it's a bit hard!'"

Though Pekai is learning to speak English now, too, she used an interpreter to tell the audience that she left school at a young age when she found herself the only girl in the classroom, but that she is now happy and proud to be learning to read and write, and is learning English, too.

Joining mother and daughter onstage was Malala's father, Ziauddin Yousafzai. As an educator and steadfast crusader for women's rights in Pakistan, he has always been a huge advocate of education for everyone, regardless of gender. In a memorable 2014 TED Talk, he famously said, "People ask me what is special about my mentorship that has made Malala so bold and courageous, vocal and poised. I tell them, 'Don't ask me what I did. Ask me what I did not do.' I did not clip her wings, and that's all." His commitment to education for all does not seem to be diminished at all. During the WITW conversation, he reminded the crowd, "There are 66 million girls not in education in the world. My message is that education for everyone must be our mission, our top goal."

Tina Brown, founder and CEO of the WITW Summit, said she was profoundly moved by Tor Pekai's decision to speak on such an emotional day. "So far, she has said nothing, and yet she has been a noble force in Malala's life, as has her father."

DWTS' Maksim Chmerkovskiy has some harsh words about Hope Solo

Chmerkovskiy, who danced with Solo on Season 13 of Dancing with the Stars, has taken great offense to Solo's accusations that he physically abused her during rehearsals, and he didn't hold back during a recent interview.

"She's just a shitty person," Chmerkovskiy told Matthew Cole Weiss and Theo Von on their podcast.

"You can have a shitty life growing up, but if you're a bad person, there's no excuse for that. She wrote a book, she lied about a bunch of stuff. I had a tough time dealing with that."

More: Shocking details of Hope Solo's domestic violence arrest revealed

Wow! What caused all this animosity? It all goes back to some awful allegations the Olympian made against him in her 2012 book Solo: A Memoir of Hope. Not only did she accuse Chmerkovskiy of slapping her across the face after the competition ended, she went into detail about his reported roughness during rehearsals.

"He was often nasty, swearing at me and being harshly critical. He manhandled me in rehearsals from the start, pushing me, whacking my stomach, bending my arms roughly," she wrote. "One day, Maks was trying to put me in a certain position and hit my stomach so hard with his open palm that I had a red handprint there for the rest of the day."

Chmerkovskiy denied the allegations on Twitter back in 2012, writing, "Always hated hypocrites and liars. But when someone is both AND an opportunist, I just feel bad for them. Can't win at someone's expense."

More: Maksim Chmerkovskiy declares he's not a scumbag

The dancer also revealed why he left DWTS — and why he'll never come back.

"It's a permanent thing, I'm not coming back," he said. "Maybe I was just not a good person for DWTS. I was never about politics or looking good for the camera. I had one job — to teach someone how to dance.

"I had a giant fight with producers. I thought about it for two days. I can be lying to myself or be true to myself and I chose to be true to myself. When you are true to yourself shit comes out that the public may not like. And I'm OK with that."

Chmerkovskiy is currently dating fellow DWTS pro Peta Murgatroyd.

Update: Us Weekly reports that Lamar Odom's ex-wife, Khloé Kardashian, is en route to the hospital to be by his side, along with sister Kim Kardashian and mom Kris Jenner. A source told the site that Khloe is "inconsolable."

On a recent episode of Keeping Up with the Kardashians, Khloé, who is now dating James Harden, admitted that she will always care for Odom.

TMZ is reporting that Khloé Kardashian's former NBA star ex was rushed to a hospital after he was found unconscious at a brothel in Pahrump, Nevada.

Sources at Dennis Hof's Love Ranch South reportedly told TMZ that 35-year-old Odom had arrived at the ranch on Saturday. He had allegedly been taking a herbal substitute for Viagra and partying with the women at the brothel for days before one woman found him unconscious in his VIP suite.

TMZ reports that Hof, the owner of the brothel, said a manager at the ranch called 911 and rolled Odom onto his side and saw a "mucus-type liquid coming out of his nose and mouth."

More: Lamar Odom speaks out about the Khloé Kardashian "ambush"

The site says Odom was transported in an ambulance to the nearest hospital in Pahrump and was later airlifted to Las Vegas for further treatment. It also says doctors had to intubate him, which would mean he wasn't able to breathe on his own.

TMZ also reports that Odom had been partying at Love Ranch South by himself and he is also by himself at the hospital — no friends or entourage have arrived and ranch staff are not allowed to be in the room with him because they are not family.

A source close to the situation tells TMZ, "It's not good."

According to Variety, Odom went missing two years ago following a drug-fueled bender at a hotel in Los Angeles. He and Kardashian, the stars of E!'s Khloé and Lamar, were married for four years before she filed for divorce in December of 2013.

Chris Brown's tiny daughter is definitely taking after her daddy. In an adorable video the singer posted to his Instagram, she's busting some seriously cute moves at a photo shoot.

Baby Royalty isn't even 2 years old yet, but clearly the move-busting skills in her family are genetic. And clearly her dad loves to show her off, and who can blame him? She is absolutely precious.

The video shows Brown and Royalty walking out in front of the camera to some loud dance music. Little Royalty immediately lets out a delighted cry and starts bouncing to the music. Dad walks behind her with a huge grin splitting his face and even busts a move along with his little girl. So. Cute.

It turns out there was a very important reason Royalty was a part of that photo shoot. The photographer, Lana Del Rey's boyfriend Francesco Carrozzini, posed with Brown for a picture after the shoot.

"Had a great time with this shoot!! My brother thank you for everything!" Brown captioned the photo, which was then reposted to Carrozzini's account with a hashtag revealing he was shooting the cover art for Brown's upcoming album, which is called Royalty after his little girl.

Brown just revealed this week that the new album will drop in late November. He previously told fans that it would be named after his daughter.

"I honestly never knew I could love someone as strong as I do," Brown wrote alongside a sweet photo of his baby girl on Instagram last May. "I'm gonna give her the world."

"It's like George Jefferson zombie went on vacation," judge Glenn Hetrick said.

Judge Ve Neill gushed praise for the makeup creation, saying, "I have seen old men with noses just like that, heads just like that. I think you've done a really good job of capturing that texturing around those areas. He creeps me out something fierce."

"Splendid work; great character," Hetrick said. "I wish there was a nicer transition between the two colors to bring those dark tones into the light. But that's it. I love it."

"The concept is right on," Hetrick said. "But my big problem with it is the edges around the mouth and some of the coloring; it's blotches of color. It needs to be more well synthesized."

Jordan: Spinster aunt

"It's different, and I love this color you chose," Neill said. "She is very cartoony, but my main concern is the fact that she is so reminiscent of so many of your other characters that you've done. You have to get a little bit more versatile with your looks because you won't have much range otherwise."

Hetrick felt like Jordan didn't take his work far enough. "The prosthetic sort of has its own proportions," he said. "The rest of the body doesn't. If you really stretch that head out, then all of a sudden that face wouldn't look so disproportionate to the rest of the body. The overall character would feel more like a cartoon."

"He's a great character, and he's got a fabulous comb-over," Neill said. "I really would've liked to have seen a little bit more color because he's just a little bit too petrified-looking. Maybe some highlights so that it would have shown off some more of your sculpting, because there's some great stuff going on in this."

Judge Neville Page suggested the character should have been given more of a "comedic edge."

6 Reasons Scream Queens' Red Devil could be targeting Wes next

More: Scream Queens might have just unlocked the mystery of the bathtub baby

As viewers learned at the end of Tuesday's episode, Gigi is working with the Red Devil — *gasp*. Just like Boone, Gigi and the Red Devil are in cahoots. Remember, there are two Red Devils on the loose, so does this mean Gigi is one of them? Are there actually more than two killers on campus, meaning Gigi could be the third Red Devil? Or is Gigi the Red Devils' boss? Whatever the case, there is a more important question we should be asking: Who is "he"? Who does Gigi want the Red Devil to get rid of?

Gigi and the Red Devil have something in common

Gigi and the Red Devil have something in common

After helping the Red Devil (who also happens to be in love with Zayday, FYI) escape from his/her murderous lair, Gigi said to him/her, "He's gotta go." Who's "he"? Well, I don't know about you, but all signs (at the moment) are pointing to Wes. Not only is he a shady character, but ever since the beginning, fans have been wondering if he knows more than he's admitting — like, is Grace really the bathtub baby?

Anyways, Gigi and the Red Devils' next victim could be a number of characters, but Wes seems to be the likely candidate and here's why.

More: Scream Queens' Dean Munsch and 8 top Red Devil suspects

1. He is Gigi's lover

When doesn't the killer of a scary movie try or succeed in targeting/killing their lover? Plus, as the saying goes, keep your friends close and your enemies closer. What's a more perfect way to keep tabs on your next victim than by sleeping with him and calling his daughter your "stepdaughter"?

2. He's clearly hiding a secret

There is more than meets the eye when it comes to Wes. Let's just hope all his secrets are revealed before he dies (if he dies, that is). Maybe he knows something about the bathtub baby and that mysterious night in 1995? If so, Gigi could want him silenced for some reason that's yet to be unveiled.

3. He might be the bathtub baby's father

The timeline adds up. He could totally be the bathtub baby's father — even if it's not Grace. Stick with me. Maybe Grace really isn't the bathtub baby, but Wes had another child with the dead KKT girl from 1995? Hey, it's a possibility. With that said, it seems that Gigi took care of that baby, so maybe she is mad at Wes for abandoning his other little girl?

4. He loves '90s music

As much as Gigi clearly loves the '90s and the decade's music, there's a good chance she's over all those playlists Wes makes. Not to mention, he talked about his deceased wife while getting it on with Gigi. First of all, that's a mood killer. Second of all, that conversation almost interrupted, as Gigi put it, "the most sensual song ever written," aka "Black Velvet." If that isn't enough reason to want Wes dead...

5. He's totally connected to 1995 somehow

As previously mentioned, Wes seems to be connected to that KKT death and bathtub baby from 20 years ago. It appears Gigi is, too. That is so much more than a coincidence and clearly means something much larger, which may or may not give reason for the Red Devil to go after Wes.

6. He's the other Red Devil

Seeing as there are two Red Devils, maybe Wes is the other one, aka not the one Gigi was talking to? She did say to one Red Devil, "That got way out of hand," which translates to, "Clean up this mess." Maybe she wants the other Red Devil dead (who may or may not be Wes) because he's not following orders and is making a mess out of Gigi's killer plan — that is, if she is the boss of the operation.

Scream Queens airs Tuesdays at 9/8c on Fox.

The Voice: Fans shocked by Blake Shelton's unexpected steal

After her Battle with Siahna Im, Acero appeared to be at risk of once again going home before the Knockouts. Had that happened, making it to the Battles would still have been a huge accomplishment for the singer. During Season 8, the singer failed to turn a single chair during the blind auditions, so it was a big deal for her to duke it out with Im during the Battles.

Despite being grateful to have scored a spot on Team Pharrell, Acero had no intention of giving up her journey following the Battles. An amazing rendition of the Supremes' "You Keep Me Hanging On" secured her spot in the Knockouts, but nobody thought that she would wind up under the tutelage of Shelton!

Team Gwen seemed like more of a natural fit for Acero. Stefani was the first to swoop in for the steal, and she even told Shelton that he was "so dumb" for even trying to snatch Acero for his own team. Stefanie clearly could relate to Acero — and her expertise could have launched the contestant to new heights. And as Adam Levine pointed out, Shelton didn't even bother to turn around during Acero's audition.

It's hard to say how, exactly, Shelton managed to snag Acero, but complimenting her smile certainly didn't hurt! He also chatted about cantaloupe, which, as she had previously mentioned, is a big deal in her hometown. It goes to show that even the silliest of tactics can work on The Voice.

Several Twitter users were very surprised when Acero ultimately opted for Shelton. Many skeptics questioned the contestant's judgment, claiming that Stefani had far more to offer than her country counterpart.

Now that she's a member of Team Blake, Acero needs to work on letting go and offering up a fearless performance. It's of utmost importance that she applies Elliott's advice about blocking everything else out and giving 100 percent when she's on the stage. Who knows — Shelton just might bring Acero even further out of her shell.

You might soon have to swallow your fitness tracker, rather than wear it

I do still wear it for weeks at a time, but once I forget to put it on after a shower, then it snowballs into weeks, or even months, without knowing if I hit my step count or kept my cardio within the fat-burning zone.

More: "Runner's high" may actually be the same as a marijuana high

Kind of a waste, but I'm hardly the only person who does it. In fact, a 2014 study found that only one in 10 people who own a fitness tracker actually wear it.

That's why Jawbone CEO Hosain Rahman touted ingestibles, the new type of fitness tracker that you swallow, during a talk given at the Code/Mobile Conference in California. It's good business, since these wearable technology companies need to sustain themselves, but these types of trackers have the potential to keep us in the loop with everything going on in our bodies. The concepts range from the simple — like measuring gut bacteria — to weird Big Brother-esque integrations with your home technology to adjust your thermostat when it senses your body is too hot or cold.

More: An "exercise pill" is coming, but don't sell your treadmill just yet

Of course, these ingestible trackers are still very much in the concept stages. It's not really that far-fetched, though, given that the world now has a smart menstrual cup that will text you information about your period.

"The ultimate goal is to help people live longer, live healthier, have lower medical costs — and that's the holy grail," Rahman said.

And while it is a little unsettling to think about someone being able to hack into our bodies via these trackers, it might be worth it just to have a longer, healthier life.

The two former Jersey Shore stars are best friends and are similar in a lot of ways. And now, as JWoww prepares to tie the knot this weekend, Snooki revealed another trait they share: They're both bridezillas.

Last summer, JWoww revealed on social media that Snooki, along with her fellow Jersey Shore alums Sammi "Sweetheart" Giancola and Deena Nicole Cortese, will be her bridesmaids for the big day. But that doesn't mean that bridezilla JWoww is letting them lend too much of a helping hand with the festivities.

"I've seen pictures of her dresses, but I haven't seen them on her. She's very secretive," Snooki revealed in an interview with E! News. "She wants to surprise everybody and she didn't let me help her at all with any of the wedding stuff because she wanted it to be her own."

The guidette continued, "She's definitely a bridezilla, but she has this crazy wedding planned and I can't wait. It's going to be so much fun."

Snooki will be celebrating JWoww's wedding at just about the same time she celebrates the first anniversary of her own wedding with Jionni LaValle. The reality star also told E! News about what she and her hubby have been up to in the last year, besides raising two kids.

"Everything's great… we are so excited," she gushed. "We're actually planning our honeymoon now because we never went because when I got married, [daughter] Giovanna was three months old. I couldn't leave my baby so we're thinking after the holidays, we're going to go somewhere tropical and finally have that moment."

Woman battling cancer finds out $40k donation was fake

The Utah teen is fighting and her community is trying to help. On Sep. 27, supporters came together at a Cyprus High School football game to raise money. A bunch of cash donations were made at the game, but one anonymous donor pledged $40,000 toward her treatment.

The promise of the donation "came as quite a shock when we found that it was there," Alexis' mother, Emily Gould, told television station KSL.

Amazing, except it wasn't real.

"It was a little bit hard, but we never wanted it to detract from the genuine love and support that we received from so many," Emily Gould said of finding out the money was never there in the first place. But that doesn't mean the family isn't appreciative of all the support they're receiving.

"What others might deem as little acts of kindness, or little acts of love, mean the world to us," Emily Gould said. "While $40,000 is a lot of money, it meant no more to me than the people who are struggling, who are living paycheck to paycheck, who donated $5."

The family has set up a GoFundMe account to help pay for Alexis' continued treatments, and the teen is continuing to fight.

"Because she is high-risk, her treatments are very intense. She is an extremely determined young woman and extremely optimistic," Emily said. "Right now, faith is all we have. Vagina emojis are here, and they are glorious

But earlier this month, Flirtmoji, a sex-positive start-up, released the most beautiful, diverse and realistic set of vagina emojis ever to grace your iPhone screen. And I’m hooked. They are asymmetrical, lopsided and sport long, delicate tendrils. In short, they are glorious, and you should be proud to use them.

More: What sext messages would look like brought to life (VIDEO)

I’ve always been aware of the emoji-as-sext potential, but until now, we’ve had to rely on makeshift combinations of emojis to depict our lady gardens (woman + flower emoji). Unfortunately recipients might not always know what we’re getting at (“You want me to send my mom some flowers?”). Charades and puzzles can be fun at parties, but when you want a special someone to come over in a hurry, don’t waste your time with pizza emojis. Unless you want something to share together after.

OK, but will using these clever vagina emojis improve your sex life? Maybe not, but for some, not having the right tools to communicate their desire can make navigating sexy seas tricky and uncomfortable. Flirtmoji believes that “good communication and good sex are inextricable. When we ask, explain, and consent we improve our sexual experiences.” They believe in the power of using symbols to “communicate complex (and sometimes intimidating) desires, concerns, and flirtations.”

More: Sex positions for mind-blowing orgasms

Sketching vagina emojis can’t be done on whim either. Flirtmoji artist Katy McCarthy tells SheKnows, “I almost always start by making an old-fashioned line drawing in my sketchbook, and we definitely source our inspiration images widely. Daily I am rejuvenated and sent to the drawing board by the plethora of user-uploaded images on blogs and Tumblrs. I have also used my computer camera to photograph and draw my body. Use what you have…” Makes sense to us.

With a mission to make sex icons for everyone, McCarthy and fellow Flirtmoji artist Jeremy Yingling’s goals are to “visualize the entire spectrum of safe and consensual sex and to do so with a full range of body shapes and sizes and assorted objects. It’s not a small goal, but it gets us out of bed in the morning.”

More: 20 Sext messaging templates for the sexting beginner

For now, they’ve been restricted from selling in App Store (the reason is explained here), so Flirtmojis can be copied and pasted from the group’s website. The first set is free, and each group of images after that costs $1.

Doctors to offer DIY pap smear kits and 5-year screening schedule

The new generation of teenagers becoming women won’t be subject to the same pap smear regime as their aunties, mothers and grandmas, with a new cervical cancer screening self-collection program to be made available in Australia as a world-first.

From 2017, Australian women will be able to access this kit so they can effectively ‘DIY’ their own pap smears, as part of a sweeping overhaul of the National Cervical Cancer Screening Program.

The new guidelines are designed to “attract women who don't normally get pap smears,” as they have “the highest rates of cervical cancer,” says program committee member, Dr. Louise Farrell. The program particularly targets indigenous women, victims of sexual abuse, and those who are reluctant to get pap smears for cultural reasons.

More: Vitamin B might be the answer to remembering your dreams

If you’ve ever had a pap smear and you’re wondering just how it would be possible for a person to complete their own internal examination – logistically, it seems fairly tricky – you’ll be pleased to learn that the current, slightly invasive method for collecting cervical tissue is also being overthrown.

From 2017, HPV testing will replace pap smears. An HPV test can be conducted on a tissue sample taken with a nylon swab, rather than requiring cells from the cervical wall to be analysed.

It is expected that the test would still be carried out in a health-care setting, with the patient themselves preforming the swab.

More: Breast reconstruction facts for any woman with a mastectomy in her future

Unfortunately, those of us who have been diligent with getting regular pap smears in the past will need to keep up with our GP visits.

It’s only women who have never had a pap smear, or who are long overdue for one, who will be able to collect the self-testing kits from their doctor from 2017.

However all Australian women will benefit from the new recommendation of five-yearly testing, rather than two-yearly pap smears, a move that has been implemented due to improvements in detection testing.

Around 885 new cases of cervical cancer are projected to be diagnosed in Australia in 2015, according to government statistics. Up to 250 women will die from cervical cancer this year as well.

In addition to bringing arresting sensitivity to the role of a young gay artist struggling to reconcile his personal life with his industry aspirations, Smollett delivers musical performances that pack such a powerful punch they take our breath away. And with Smollett garnering even more buzz this season than last, it's no wonder fans are dying for the entertainer's highly anticipated album to drop.

So, here's what we know. Smollett's album is expected to drop later this year. In January, when a fan asked if he had another album in the works following his 2012 EP, The Poisoned Hearts Club, Smollett responded, "Yes... album coming this year." In fact, we've already seen a few Smollett originals on the series — and will likely see more. "Before I booked Empire, I was recording an album," he told ETonline. "Four songs of mine have been chosen for this season," before citing "I Want to Love You" as a song he wrote and produced.

During that interview, Smollett admitted that he and Jamal are similar artists in that they are both "very autobiographical songwriters."

Could this mean that watching Empire each week is like getting a sneak peek into Smollett's upcoming album? It sure sounds like it. And, in other good news, the album definitely seems to be moving forward, since Smollett tweeted this out before tonight's episode.

But seeing as his album release can't come quickly enough — and his performances on tonight's episode still have us mesmerized — we decided to count down Jamal's Season 2 performances so far. Since he can apparently do no wrong, this isn't a worst to best hierarchy. Think of it more as amazing to, well, even more amazing.

This wasn't just a song this season — it was an event. More so, it was a message. "'Born to Lose' was just a phenomenal song to record," Smollett said. "It's just the rawness of what's going on in the world today. I love it. It's actually about something." And with Smollett, Sean Cross, Swizz Beatz and Yazz coming together to tackle topics like police brutality and racial equality through song, is it ever about something. Empire isn't holding back this year — and it's a glorious thing to hear. From tonight's episode, "Ain't About the Money" features Smollett and Yazz — as Jamal and Hakeem, obviously singing about the dynamics of power using a post-apocalyptic Black Panther theme with the brothers metaphorically fighting police oppression.

2. "Battle Cry"

Yes, this is another song from from tonight's episode. What can I say? Tonight's music was on point. This song very nearly made the top spot and, to be honest, I'm almost inclined to call it a toss up — particularly when you factor in that Ne-Yo (swoon) is the executive producer. It's also interesting to learn it was the most difficult track for them to knock out. Listen to the full track here.

Perhaps we're partial to this track because we know Smollett wrote and produced it. At least there's some hope and a light shining down that dark end of the tunnel. Hands outstretched, man, right? Being "100" means there's nothing we can't talk about and there's nothing that's not out in the open. Total honesty, total trust. Is there any other way? I know you're probably wondering what happened off-camera during that scene. Well, it was a challenging talk. I know Devon loves me, and I know I love him; but the drama is not worth it sometimes.

And now being able to see his brother after 15 years apart! Can you imagine asking a practical stranger about your life growing up? Strange feeling, huh? But we all have a story to tell, right? That's why this show really is reality, and I know all of you can relate. You already know I lost my precious mother, Ms. V., last year. The Embassy Block Party was a real highlight of my week. So many young kids in New Orleans are victims of violence; it's a real serious situation here. This is important to me because I know I can have some impact on kids, and until we really stop this craziness, we are putting all our kids in danger. Like I said, I have had my own brush with violence. I have had a bullet lodged in my arm! You can feel it, and it's there forever. I was coming out of a club one night and was at the wrong place at the wrong time. I'm lucky to be alive. I would love to see a safer, less violent New Orleans in my lifetime.
