Kristen Stewart's co-stars talk "uncomfortable" sex scenes

The Twilight starlet shows a much more mature side in her new movie, which she took a month to prepare for.

Kristen Stewart, On The Road

Kristen Stewart is all grown up in her new movie On the Road. The Twilight starlet gets naked, does drugs and has threesomes in her latest film, which is an adaptation of Jack Kerouac's famous novel.

But her co-star Sam Riley said shooting the sexy scenes with K-Stew, in which she's totally topless, wasn't exactly a turn-on. "It's a strange thing... I was pretty uncomfortable," he told SheKnows yesterday in NYC. "She was 19; I was nearly 30, married... we're mates. You just sort of do it as quickly as possible, unlike in real life. I don't really see a future for me in erotics."

Kristen plays Garrett Hedlund's girlfriend Marylou in the movie, and their chemistry evolved naturally since they spent an entire month together before filming. "I think it was just being around each other for the four weeks before filming," Garrett explained to SheKnows. "We were all in the same room all day, every day. It was me and Sam and Kristen in this apartment with Walter [Salles, the director], listening to jazz, reading; it was one big study hall. Also, she's not a hard one to get along with, either. She was so dedicated to this."

Director Walter Salles echoed the same sentiment. "She was so knowledgeable about the book," he told SheKnows. "She had such an in-depth understanding about the book and the character that I invited her to do the film if it was ever to be made. It took us five years to get the financing, but during all those years, she remained tied to the project and wanting to do it, and that says a lot about her."

Kristen's not the only one showing skin in On the Road. Garrett is naked during many scenes in the movie, too. "I haven't seen my brother naked as often as I saw Garrett in those six months! It's funny, obviously," Sam said.

"We just got really drunk beforehand," Garrett joked on how he handled his on-screen nudity. "Everybody asks, 'Was it awkward being naked in front of Sam or Kristen?' But they're the least of the worries. It's about the man with the mustache holding the sound boom. That's more awkward."

Sam, who's British and lives in Berlin, said he wasn't familiar with the Twilight saga before meeting Kristen, but she attempted to explain it to him. "Kristen tried to fill [in] what the plot was for the one that's just come out now and it sounded bonkers!" he laughed. "It's like, 'He's a vampire and he's a werewolf and I get pregnant with him because we were dancing and then the child grows at enormous rates and it comes out almost toddler age.' I thought 'This is very unusual children's entertainment.'"

One thing's for certain: On the Road is definitely for adult audiences! The movie hits theaters Dec. 21.

The Vampire Diaries recap: Bloody Christmas

$

It's Christmastime in Mystic Falls and even vampires and werewolves get lonely like the rest of us. Their killing sprees and break-ups just couldn't wait until after the holiday season.

Elena restrains Jeremy

The torture continues this week on The Vampire Diaries as Damon , having landed the girl of his dreams, is too guilt-stricken to, well, seal the deal romantically. Instead, he follows her around like a lovesick puppy and dwells on his agonizing feelings for her. He likes to balance this with an equal amount of pushing Elena away. In this life or the next, that’s just confusing, man.

You can't out-Klaus Klaus

In a roundabout way to regain his long-lost love, Stefan  continues his quest to find the cure for vampires. Klaus  actually admits to having the key ingredient: the infamous sword. Apparently he’s been hoarding this news all along, to the downfall of others. Like Jeremy becoming a deranged vampire hunter in order to find the cure or Tyler forfeiting his body to make room for Klaus to live in his and then bury him in concrete... that’s just how Klaus rolls.

Tyler is convinced his plan to destroy Klaus will work, but of course Caroline doesn’t want to see her hot boyfriend meet a mobster-style demise. She tells Stefan to get his hands on that sword, and fast. Tyler doesn’t give two cents about Stefan’s plan, and Caroline and Stefan are held captive by the hybrids so Tyler can take care of his business. Remember, Klaus is an evil genius. He catches on to Tyler's plan and ruins everything. The hybrids, the cure and anyone in his path aren't safe.

Family drama

The holidays, while festive, are also a prime time for family drama, and it’s no different in Mystic Falls this year. Elena  has the bright idea of meeting Jeremy  at a cabin and inviting the evil-intentioned Professor Shane to join them. Jeremy tries to kill her because, you know, he’s a vampire hunter these days.

Professor Shane tries some dark magic/therapy with the siblings and it all sort of works out in the end when the vampire hunter is able to hug his undead sister instead of ripping her head off.

A few things you need to know

Hayley is trouble, and is working with Professor Shane. Klaus destroys Tyler’s pack and drowns Mayor Lockwood . Even Rebekah got staked. And, in the most urgent and important news, Damon breaks the sire bond with Elena and “sets her free.” I’m still on team Elena. Their chemistry was off the charts and fun to watch. Maybe that’s because Nina and Ian are a couple in real life, but I enjoyed the change of pace! I wonder if her freedom will endure. I think she has stronger feelings for him, sired or not.

In the end, it’s a lonely Christmas for all. Elena and Damon are done and even Stefan doesn’t seem happy about it. Tyler is now a lone wolf and Klaus murdered half the cast and no one has the sword! Happy Holidays, folks! Hopefully the New Year brings some better news.

Strip club Scores to Lindsay: Work for us, we'll pay your bills

Reps for NYC strip club Scores made an offer to Lindsay Lohan: We’ll pay your rent and storage locker bills, and you don't even have to get naked — we promise.

Lindsay Lohan with Mr. Pink drink

Are the folks at Scores buzzards circling around Lindsay Lohan, or good Samaritans? Reps from the website associated with the Manhattan strip joint sent Lindsay Lohan an invitation: Work for us and we'll pay your bills.

As we reported this week, Lohan has supposedly been begging pals for loans to pay the $16,000 she owes on a storage locker unit. Her bank accounts have been frozen due to IRS tax liens.

Lindsay Lohan begs to keep storage locker private>>

Lohan is also reportedly having trouble paying the $8,000 rent she owes monthly for her Beverly Hills home, which TMZ calls a "mansion."

TMZ, which broke the Scores story, also has the letter sent to Lohan's lawyer from ScoresLive.com's marketing director. It offers "sincere concern" for the actresses' "recent cash flow dilemma" and croons that she's probably feeling overwhelmed in a "distressful" situation.

So why not work for ScoresLive.com, the letter asks. Sounds like ScoresLive.com is a webcam operation, as the letter says that the site hosts "hundreds of beautiful ladies who appear by webcam nightly to entertain upscale gentlemen in the privacy of their homes."

Would Lindsay be a cam girl?? Nah. She'd be a host for events streamed live from Scores' strip club in Manhattan.

Ah, so she'd be introducing strippers! Not stripping herself.

Desperate Lindsay Lohan sells old clothes for cash>>

In exchange for Lindsay's appearances, ScoresLive.com offered to pay her storage locker facility fee, and her rent right up through when her lease expires in February of 2013. Say, that's only two months. But who's counting?

A grand total of $32K is relatively small change to offer a notorious star like Lohan to endorse your naked-lady website, don't you think?

Hmm, maybe the goal was to get publicity for ScoresLive.com rather than to really hire Lohan?

Think I'll stop writing now.

10 No-cook breakfast ideas

Everyone knows that eating breakfast is important, but life tends to get in the way. Here are 10 no-cook breakfasts for those mornings when the clock is not exactly your friend.
Fruit parfait

Everyone knows that eating breakfast is important, but life tends to get in the way. Here are 10 no-cook breakfasts for those mornings when the clock is not exactly your friend.

Breakfast on the run

Yogurt parfait

Yogurt is not only good for you, but also an easy breakfast for on the go. Yogurt has lots of friendly bacteria to keep your digestive system healthy and running smoothly. Add your favorite ingredients for a super start to your morning.

Just put a layer of your favorite flavor of yogurt in a cup, and then add some sliced fruit. Sprinkle with chopped nuts or granola, and then add another layer of yogurt. Continue the layers until the cup is filled.

Sweet tortilla roll-ups

Although you can use any type of tortilla for this quick meal, a whole grain tortilla adds a shot of extra nutrition in the form of B vitamins and fiber. Just warm up a tortilla until it is pliable and spread it with peanut butter. Add some sliced bananas and a drizzle of honey, then roll it up and eat it on the way to work. This would also work with Nutella, jam, almond butter and chopped nuts — get creative! Be sure to fold the bottom in as you roll it up so that the filling doesn't drip out on your lap.

smoothieFruit smoothie

Toss your favorite fruit into a blender with a cup of yogurt, a teaspoon of honey and a spoonful of protein powder, blend until smooth and voila. Some fruit ideas are strawberry, banana, mango, pineapple or blueberry.

For a more filling option, add oats to your smoothie. Not only do they add a hearty texture, but oats can lower your cholesterol, boost your immune system and contain antioxidants. Just add a half a cup of rolled oats and a half a cup of skim milk to your smoothie recipe for an added energy boost.

Breakfast in a pita

Fill a whole-wheat pita with a chopped hard-boiled egg, grated or sliced cheese and deli ham. You could really use any type of cheese or deli meat you prefer, including turkey or roast beef. It can still be considered breakfast since it does have egg, after all. All those hearty ingredients in a convenient edible package are satisfying and will rev up your sleepy metabolism with a burst of protein. You can even make this the night before and have it ready to go in your fridge for on your way out the door.

Revisit cottage cheese

Cottage cheese has gotten a bum rap as a boring diet food. Really, though, it's delicious and full of protein. Cottage cheese topping ideas include fresh fruit, a sprinkling of chopped pecans, a drizzle of honey, a handful of sunflower seeds, applesauce and cinnamon, dried cranberries and granola. If you're craving a savory morning meal, stuff a whole grain tortilla with cottage cheese, sliced avocado and low-fat deli meat for a savory wrap. Or simply spread low-fat cottage cheese atop a toasted English muffin.

Bagel-icious

You can never go wrong with a bagel. A whole wheat bagel is low in fat and high in fiber. Spread it with your favorite flavored cream cheese and sliced strawberries, peanut butter and jelly or avocado for a luxurious breakfast treat. Or make your own bagels and lox at home by toasting your bagel, spreading with cream cheese, and topping with smoked salmon, capers, red onion and dill.

More quick, no-cook breakfast tips

  • Have lunch for breakfast — Stop stereotyping breakfast. Have a roast beef and provolone sandwich for breakfast if that's what you like. A few slices of your favorite deli meat, cheese, crackers and a slice of tomato might hit the spot.
  • Bag it — Mix a handful of dried fruit such as raisins, cranberries, cherries and apples with some chopped nuts, sunflower seeds and bite-size crackers. Put the mixture in a resealable bag for a homemade breakfast mix.
  • Muffin magic — A muffin is the perfect breakfast-to-go. Just make a batch of your favorite healthy muffin recipe on the weekend and freeze them. Warm one up for a few seconds in the microwave for an inexpensive, no-bake breakfast treat.
  • Look at your leftovers — Leftover pizza, spaghetti, stew and chili all make for easy breakfasts that save you money.

Unique workouts that get results

There's nothing wrong with racking up the hours on a treadmill or elliptical trainer — unless you get bored and stop doing it. So why not jump-start a healthy lifestyle with one of these fun, kooky workouts? Not only are they entertaining enough to hook you and keep you coming back, they actually work.

Think outside the box

There's nothing wrong with racking up the hours on a treadmill or elliptical trainer — unless you get bored and stop doing it. So why not jump-start a healthy lifestyle with one of these fun, kooky workouts? Not only are they entertaining enough to hook you and keep you coming back, they actually work.

Bollywood dancing

Did you see Shawn Johnson’s incredible bhangra performance on Dancing With the Stars: All-Stars? If not, you should watch it — then go out to a Bollywood dance class and do a few of the same moves yourself. Don't worry, you won't be moving with quite the same intensity that had an Olympian out of breath, but you will have a chance to make like one of the backup dancers in Slumdog Millionaire's "Jai Ho."

Hot Hula

Let's get one thing straight: Going to a Hot Hula class to learn the actual hula is like going to Zumba to learn the actual salsa — it ain't gonna happen. What you will get, though, is a core-intensive, hula-esque cardio workout that'll tone your abs and slim you down so much that may have to buy new pants. Hidden bonus? It's low-impact, so if you live in an upstairs apartment or condo, your downstairs neighbor will never know you're shredding your midsection to a great Hot Hula DVD .

Roller derby

Granted, roller derby is a pretty rough and tumble sport, but it's also an incredible workout. It also creates some of the fiercest and most inclusive female camaraderie I've ever seen. Actually graduating from rookie to a full member of the team takes some work, so you're going to get fit and be surrounded by a solid derby family by the time you’re done. And guess what? No matter what your size, there's a place for you.

Irish dancing

Some of the official Irish dancing schools will accept adults, so you've got a chance to get your Michael Flatley on at any age. As someone who did a year in one of those schools, I can promise you that they'll shred everything from the waist down, especially your calves, in no time.

Competitive Irish dancing also requires a lot of intense practice, so if you'd like to preserve the element of spontaneity, look for ceilis or set dances in your area. These types of Irish folk dancing can be done for competition, but they're more often done to live music at social gatherings, just for the fun of it.

Best times to shop during the holidays

Holiday shopping is probably one of the most stressful events of the year. If you weren’t able to demolish your list during the Black Friday chaos , we have some shopping tips to make your stress as minimal as possible this season.

Woman Christmas shopping

The do's

Weekdays will, hands down, be considerably less busy than the weekends. With a majority of people either at work or at school, you may actually be able to walk through the malls and stores.

If you want the best possible conditions, shoot for a morning shopping trip. Take a day or two off work this month, or even just a morning, and knock off your entire Christmas list then and there. This will be your best chance to have the least hectic experience possible.

If you absolutely can’t get even a morning off, sacrifice your lunch break one day and make a run to the mall to grab a few things on your list. This will only work if you’re somewhat close to the mall or a desired store, and you should be prepared and know exactly what you need in order to get in and out.

The don’ts

Do not, at any cost, go to the mall on the weekend. A weekend at the mall is bad enough other times of the year. Add holiday shoppers into the mix, and we guarantee you nothing on your list is worth the traumatic experience. With everyone off work, out of school and on a mission, prepare to spend numerous unpleasant hours at a jam-packed mall if you save your shopping for these days.

For all of you out there taking procrastination to the next level and waiting to do their shopping until Christmas Eve, consider this your warning. You may be thinking to yourself, “Everyone else will already be done, so there won’t be any lines.” Think again. Spend your Christmas Eve with friends and family instead of the last-minute crowds at the mall.

If you don’t want to deal with any kind of crowd at all, shop online! Online shopping has definitely grown over the years, and we see more online-exclusive deals than ever. So grab your hot chocolate and favorite blanket and park it on the couch with your laptop. Shopping has never been so relaxing.

If you’re resolving to eat healthier this New Year, check out our list of must-have healthy foods. Healthy eating starts with a healthy grocery list. From kale and salmon to chia seeds, experts weigh in on the healthiest foods for you and your family.

Woman holding goji berries

Why eat healthy?

According toPaula Owens, MS, nutritionist, fitness expert and author of The Power of 4, eight of the top 10 causes of death in the U.S. are related to nutrition. "The nutrients in our food become the building blocks for the repair and replacement of all the cells in our bodies," she said. "If we don't use good building blocks, we can't build good cells. Without healthy cells, we can't build healthy bodies."

Must-have healthy foods for the New Year

1

Avocados

avocado

Did you know that one avocado has three times the potassium of a banana? Add some avocado slices to your tacos or sandwiches, whip up a batch of guacamole or try this egg salad with avocado recipe for a quick boost in your B vitamins, fiber and essential fatty acids.

2

Chia seeds

Chia pet, anyone?! "When these hydrophilic seeds are ingested, the health benefits are exceptional," nutrition expert Keren Gilbert, MS, RD, said. "Chia seeds are the number one food that I tell my clients to incorporate into their diets. You can add them to oatmeal, yogurt, shakes or salads. They're comprised of roughly 20 percent protein, are full of antioxidants, contain more omega-3s than flax, help stabilize blood sugar levels, control weight and are a tremendous source of energy for the body and mind."

3

Goji berry

Add this super fruit to your grocery list this New Year! "A true gift from nature, goji berries are high in antioxidants, have more vitamin C than oranges, and also contain B vitamins, vitamin E and essential fatty acids," Gilbert said. Simply toss goji berries into your cereal, yogurt or trail mix. To use goji berries in your smoothies, soak a handful of them in water for 10 minutes and once they plump up, toss them into the blender with your other ingredients.

4

Wild salmon

salmon

Looking to get healthy this New Year? Add wild salmon to your grocery list. "Wild salmon is a great brain food because of the omega-3 fats, particularly DHA. DHA may help to reduce feelings of stress, improve your mood, lower depression and reduce age-related memory loss," Owens explained. "Always choose wild over farmed salmon, which is full of PCBs, cancer-causing chemicals and mercury." Whether you're entertaining or whipping up a quick weeknight dinner, this cedar-planked salmon recipe will be a hit.

5

Mushrooms

mushroom

Did you know that mushrooms are the only source of vitamin D in the produce aisle? "Mushrooms are low in calories, fat-free, cholesterol-free and very low in sodium," Gilbert said. "They also provide several nutrients, including selenium, potassium, riboflavin and niacin." Mushrooms are incredibly versatile, too, making them easy to include in your diet. Your family will love this mushroom and walnut risotto, these savory cream cheese-stuffed mushrooms and creamy mushroom lasagna.

6

Amaranth

"This unrefined super grain is gaining in popularity," Gilbert said. "It's a good source of protein, it's rich in amino acids and it's high in fiber, offering three times the fiber of wheat. Plus, it's loaded with vitamins and minerals, boasting more than 20 percent of the recommended daily amount of calcium, iron, magnesium and folate." Add the popped seeds to a salad or soup, or cook it like rice. You can even find amaranth flour and make this gluten-free macaroni and cheese recipe.

7

Beets

This highly-nutritious side dish can easily replace your mashed potatoes for a healthier dinner alternative. "Certain unique pigment antioxidants present in this plant have been found to offer protection against coronary artery disease," Gilbert said. Beets can be found raw, canned or pickled and make a great addition to any salad and even serve as a rich pizza topping.

8

Kale

kale

"Kale is the green leafy veggie to include as your side dish meal this year," Gilbert said. "These greens are jam-packed with vitamins A, C and K, folate, potassium, magnesium, calcium, iron, lutein and fiber." Gilbert suggests serving it with a splash of lemon juice or red wine vinegar. It can be good eaten raw or cooked.

9

Lentils

lentils

"These legumes are high in protein and are more efficient complete protein providers than red meat — without the fat!" Gilbert said. "They're also high in B vitamins, amino acids, calcium and iron." Lentils make the perfect addition to soup as they're filling, like in this yellow lentil dahl recipe, Mexican chorizo, lentil and tomato soup or try a different route with this warm lentil salad.

10

Okra

Okra is a popular vegetable used in Cajun cooking. "Known as gumbo or lady's fingers, okra is part of the mallow family of flowering plants," Gilbert explained. "This plant is known for the edible green fruits they produce, which are low in calories and aid in digestion." Include okra in salads and soups, or fry it, pickle it, or roast it.

Health and fitness resolutions need not be complicated affairs, complete with pricey gym memberships, organic meal delivery and juice fasts. Take a step back and focus on simplicity instead.

Resolutions:
Back to basics

We’re not joking; there are a few small but important changes you can make as the New Year approaches that will have you set for a happier, healthier and fitter 2013.

Say no to soda

Put down the can of carbonated sugar and promise yourself to stop buying soda this year. Not only is it totally devoid of nutrients, all those empty calories add up surprisingly fast. There are 150 calories in a can of Pepsi. If you’re drinking several cans or opting for larger fountain-style sodas, that number can skyrocket. To avoid excess sugar and calories, say no to soda. Drink water instead or water flavored with a squeeze of lemon or lime. Don’t have citrus fruits on hand? Keep some packets of True Citrus on hand to add to your water or sparkling water. These little packs are all-natural, calorie-free and full of flavor.

kaleCook more

If you really want to put your health first and lose weight , promise yourself that you’ll get reacquainted with your kitchen — and not just in a reheating things kind of way. Adding more fresh produce to your grocery list is a sure-fire way to look and feel better. The fewer processed foods you eat and the less frequently you grab food on the go, the more opportunity you’ll have to load up on fresh, healthy fruit and vegetables. Not sure where to start? SheKnows has tons of recipes for healthy meals, from appetizers to snacks to mains. You can also hit up culinary-minded pals for advice on how to use all your newly purchased goodies.

Walk everywhere you can

No, you don’t need to get a gym membership this year. All you need to do to keep the weight off is to walk more. And we don’t mean just from your car to the office or to the corner store and back . We mean vowing to walk briskly for at least 40 minutes a day, more when you have time. This could take the form of longer walks with the dog, walking to meet friends instead of driving, walking to work or implementing a post-dinner family walk at least three nights a week. All you need is a good pair of shoes or boots and you’re set for a year of extra calories burned.

Ditch the scale

We know what you’re thinking: If you don’t have a scale, how will you keep track of weight loss goals? To that we say, numbers don’t really matter. What matters is how you feel. If your only concern is getting the number on the scale to budge, you won’t be focused on long-term health and fitness. Instead of basing your goals on being a certain size or weighing a certain number of pounds, just make a promise to yourself to make healthy choices to do something active every day.

Get outdoors once a day

Another easy way to ensure you get moving daily in some form is to get your fresh air. It might be cold where you live, but that’s no excuse to stay indoors. Take up an outdoor activity like skating, cross country skiing or snowboarding, or take your workout outdoors. Fresh air is great for your mood and your health, no matter the season. Invest in the right gear to keep you warm and dry, and get outside!

Purge your closets for the new year

$

As the new year rolls around and you put away holiday gifts, take a good hard look at your closets. Purge, donate and organize for a clutter-free new year.

woman going through closet

Get a head start on spring cleaning by purging your closets this winter. Don't shove holiday gifts into crowded storage spaces. Purge, organize and enjoy your closet space this new year.

Try everything on

When it comes to trying on clothes, it's all fun and games until you get to the fourth or fifth item. Add kids to the mix, and you have a downright unpleasant task on your hands. Make a game out of having kids try on clothes by staging a fashion show or making it a race. Wait to try on your own clothes until you have a loyal and honest friend on hand and no distractions. Your purpose in trying on clothes is to weed out anything that doesn't fit or has gone woefully out of style. Use your cellphone camera if you don't trust a mirror.

Ditch old stuff

What's lurking at the back of your closets? Clear everything out and make two piles, one for the thrift store and one for the dump. Those old board games with missing pieces and shoes from the early '90s can go. Toy sets that don't work anymore and piles of dusty stuffed animals get the chop, too. Be ruthless when you're purging your storage areas of useless items, ill-fitting clothing and dusty relics that hold no value. Get your partner motivated by playfully threatening to throw everything away if he doesn't pitch into the purging effort.

Revamp your storage

Make the most of modern closet organizational tools when you restock your newly-purged closets. Purchase a closet storage system with bins and shelves for accessories and shoes or make your own storage solution using colorful, labeled bins. Use vacuum storage bags to store bulky items such as bed linens and tablecloths you rarely use. Get your kids involved in organizing youth closets. Reward yourself for a task well done

Remember those makeover shows that encourage women to toss most of their wardrobes? Every woman who got rid of most of her clothes received a new wardrobe. Take that approach on a smaller scale by rewarding your closet makeover efforts with one wardrobe staple you've had your heart set on, like a new blazer or designer boots. If clothes aren't on your list, treat yourself to a spa afternoon or a dish you've been waiting to indulge on. Closet organization is hard work, and you deserve it.

Justin Bieber wants his life turned into a sitcom

In case we don't have enough of the Biebs in our life, he thinks it would be a good idea to create a sitcom based on his life. And chances are, every teen girl will watch every week.

Justin Bieber

Because teen girls have shown they will buy anything and everything related to Justin Bieber, ABC has decided to capitalize on the singer. The network has announced they are planning a show based on Bieber’s life. But it looks like he will also be an important part of the new show.

“Bieber would executive produce the show with his manager, Scooter Braun,” said TV Guide.

Matt Wolpert and Ben Nedivi are writing the script and will also be executive producers along with Bieber and Braun. The two have previously written for Entourage, which could give the new show an interesting voice. The show is similar in many ways, showcasing the behind-the-scenes life of a star.

“The untitled family show would center on Bieber's background before he got famous,” said TV Guide. “The comedy is about a future pop star's awkward teenage years and his unorthodox family.”

It sounds a little like the life of Hannah Montana, but Bieber is sure to make the idea his own. There is no word on whether he will be playing the character, but since he is no longer 13 years old, there is a good chance they will find someone else.

“Originally intended as a multi-camera comedy for the 2011 season, the now single-camera project is under consideration for next season and has received a script commitment from the network,” said E! News.

Logically, the show should eventually make the characters famous unless it only have a shelf-life of a year or two, especially since the character will be growing up. But for now, Bieber just seems to want people to see what his life was like back when he was normal.

This will not be Bieber’s first adventure on TV. He has been featured on MTV’s Punk’d as well as guest-starring on CSI.

Jack Reacher premiere postponed because of shooting

With the country mourning over the tragedy in Connecticut, Hollywood has decided to put things on hold.

Tom Cruise

The tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, on Friday also affected many in Hollywood, and there were many events and TV shows that were canceled or postponed. Tom Cruise’s new film Jack Reacher was supposed to premiere in Pittsburgh Saturday, but that premiere was canceled because of the shooting.

“The premiere of Jack Reacher, a new action film starring Tom Cruise, has been rescheduled and several networks have pulled episodes of shows in the wake of Friday's shooting in Newtown, Connecticut, which left 28 people dead, including 20 young children,” according to BlackBook magazine.

Cruise’s new movie is about a sniper assassin who is hired to murder. Paramount released a statement on the decision.

"Due to the terrible tragedy... and out of honor and respect for the families of the victims whose lives were senselessly taken, we are postponing tomorrow's Pittsburgh premiere of Jack Reacher,” said Paramount. “Our hearts go out to all those who lost loved ones.”

The film wasn’t the only thing affected by the shootings though. SyFy pulled an episode of Haven, “which depicted ficticious school violence,” said BlackBook.

"Tonight's scheduled 10 p.m. episode of Haven contained scenes of fictitious violence in a high school,” SyFy said in a statement to the Hollywood Reporter. “In light of today's tragedy in Newtown, Connecticut, we have decided not to air it. At this time, no decision has been made as to when the episode will air."

Seth MacFarlane shows Family Guy and American Dad will be airing reruns on Sunday because of the content of the episodes scheduled to air on Sunday.

“It is understood that the network decided not to air the episodes, titled ‘Jesus, Mary and Joseph!’ and ‘Minstrel Krampus,’ to avoid running potentially sensitive content,” said Entertainment Weekly. “The episodes of Family Guy and American Dad will be replaced by repeats of ‘Grumpy Old Man’ and ‘Wheels & The Legman and The Case of Grandpa’s Key,’ respectively."

Other events and shows have also been canceled or are still in the process of canceling future episodes.

Lindsay Lohan finally apologizes to Charlie Sheen

Lindsay Lohan keeps digging herself a deeper and deeper hole in many areas of her life. But it looks like she is finally trying to mend some fences, and she started with a thank you to Charlie Sheen.

Lindsay Lohan

Lindsay Lohan is not doing too well these days. But don’t tell her that; it appears as if she doesn’t know. The actress recently found herself in trouble with the IRS, who said she owed almost $235,000 in back taxes. They have since seized her bank account as well as a storage locker she used.

But Lohan may be learning that she does have some say over her reputation, even if it comes too late. Charlie Sheen reportedly wrote the actress a check to help with her tax bill — up to $100,000 according to some reports. But he later complained that she never thanked him for the gift.

“Now sources close to Lindsay tell TMZ... LiLo didn't mean to be rude and the reason she never got around to thanking Charlie personally is because her phone broke and she lost all her contacts — including the actor's number,” said TMZ.

It seems like if Lindsay Lohan wanted to get Sheen’s phone number and really tried, she could have, but she also had another excuse for the lateness of the reply.

“Besides that, we're told Lindsay got distracted trying to deal with her slew of legal problems — like getting arrested in NYC and the new criminal charges filed against her stemming from her PCH crash,” said TMZ, “and she simply lost track of time.”

Lohan has also been following around her new favorite boy band, The Wanted.

But it looks like she finally found some time for an apology. She reportedly saw the reports of Sheen’s comments and sent a letter and thank you flowers to the actor’s home . According to TMZ, it was “both an apology and show of gratitude.”

There is no word on whether the bouquet of flowers was paid for by check sent from Sheen.

Jenna von Oy releases statement on hometown of Newtown

Blossom star Jenna von Oy has spent most of her life in the town, and shared her thoughts Saturday on the tragedy that will forever be associated with Newtown.

Jenna von Oy

While Newtown, Connecticut, is considered small-town America, it is not far from New York City and many in the city have ties to the town. One of those high-profile names is actress Jenna von Oy. Von Oy may be best known for her role as the best friend of the title character on 1990s sitcom Blossom. She currently writes a blog for People magazine and expressed her grief through their website.

“My family still lives in Newtown and, in my heart of hearts, I still consider myself one of its residents. My attachment is deep-rooted,” she said. “We are mourning the loss of some of our own this week, and it is a sobering reminder that violence does not discriminate. It can hit close to home.”

The actress has done just a few parts in the last few years because she has been more focused on her home life recently.

“I graduated from Newtown High School, got married two years ago in a bed and breakfast on its Main Street, and recently had my daughter christened at St. Rose, where the vigil was held Friday evening. Newtown is the foundation of my history and it holds a very special place in my heart,” von Oy wrote. “As I watched President Obama's press conference, I sobbed as he mentioned that the children who died had their whole lives ahead of them: graduations, weddings, having children of their own … I have celebrated every one of those milestones in Newtown.”

While von Oy admitted she was in mourning, she attempted to put her thoughts down as clearly as possible, showing her love for the town.

“It is nearly impossible to unscramble my thoughts and put them to paper at a time like this, but I wanted to express my love and support for the town that has given me so many wonderful memories,” she said. “Moreover, I share the overwhelming grief of the families affected by this tragedy. As a parent, I don't know how to make sense of it, and I am hugging my daughter that much tighter tonight because of it. No parent should ever have to experience a loss such as this one. It is unspeakable, and there is nothing fair about it.

“There aren't enough prayers to ease their pain, but I'm giving it all I've got, regardless. It is all I have to give, and I hope you'll join me. Beyond that, there are no words.”

Von Oy recently completed filming of Lukewarm, a film about a man trying to find his way back to his Christian life.

Kelly Clarkson is engaged!

The singer has been hinting at hoping to be engaged for a while now, but it looks like her boyfriend finally took the step Friday night.

Kelly Clarkson

They haven’t been dating very long, but it looks like Kelly Clarkson and her boyfriend are ready to tie the knot. The singer has been dating Brandon Blackstock, the stepson of fellow singer Reba McEntire, for just nine months. Clarkson posted to her facebook Saturday afternoon.

“I'M ENGAGED!!!!! I wanted y'all to know!!” she said. “Happiest night of my life last night! I am so lucky and am with the greatest man ever :)”

Within three minutes of the announcement, almost 12,000 of her almost 7 million facebook fans had liked the comment. The engagement itself is not that much of a shock, though. Just a few weeks ago, she had been talking about how she felt they would be married eventually.

"We are totally going to get married," Clarkson told Ellen back in November. "We love each other. We are totally going to get married one day."

Clarkson added though that because she knew it was coming at some point, she wasn’t in too much of a hurry.

"I mean, he's got to put a ring on at some point," she said. "But I'll wait it out."

Clarkson has been acting like someone completely in love with someone, and it looks like Brandstock feels the same.

"Once you finally fall in love with someone and you are so comfortable with them, it makes you more comfortable in your skin,” she said. “It makes you comfortable as an artist and it makes you more confident. I'm completely head over heels for him — he knows that."

But Clarkson also said no one should expect a big wedding from the couple, at least not if she has anything to do with it.

"Honestly I've never been the girl to plan a wedding," she added. "We will totally, probably elope."

Because of that comment, it’s more of a shock we aren’t hearing that the two are married instead of engaged. But the wedding will probably happen just as quickly as the engagement did.

Hugh Grant: Jon Stewart "correct to give me kicking"

After Jon Stewart shared with Stephen Colbert that he felt Hugh Grant was his least favorite guest, Grant responds on Twitter. And his answer is surprising.

Jon Stewart

Jon Stewart revealed in an interview with Stephen Colbert recently that there are, in fact, guests he hasn’t enjoyed having on his show The Daily Show.

"He's giving everyone s*** the whole time, and he's a big pain in the a**," he told Colbert in the interview.

But who was he talking about? Stewart revealed because of his attitude, actor Hugh Grant has been banned from the show, as well as being his least favorite guest.

"And we've had dictators on the show," he added.

But it looks like Stewart is not alone in his sentiments, but he has an unlikely ally — Hugh Grant himself.

“Turns out my inner crab got the better of me with TV producer in 09,” Grant tweeted on Friday. “Unforgivable. J Stewart correct to give me kicking.”

Grant also apparently made another mistake while on the show by complaining about the clip playing — a clip provided by his publicist.

"What is that clip? It's a terrible clip," Grant reportedly said, to which Stewart replied, "Well, then make a better f***ing movie."

No matter what his attitude, though, Grant still seems to be as popular as ever. He starred in two huge films this year, including Cloud Atlas. He will also soon be shooting the third in the Bridget Jones series, Bridget Jones Baby, along with Renee Zellweger, which is set to be released in 2013.

Jon Stewart has not replied yet to Hugh Grant’s apology, but it’s questionable whether he would let him back on the show even if he forgives him.

The host is also up to big things, but mostly related to The Daily Show, which has now been on the air for 17 years and is going as strong as ever . They have started the careers of some big names, like Stephen Colbert, Steve Carell, Rob Cordry, Ed Helms and others.

The actress has been a mom for almost a year now, and she is talking about how that has affected her life... every area of it.

Hilary Duff

Hilary Duff gave birth to her first child only nine months ago, and she sat down with Access Hollywood Friday to talk about how having a baby has affected her life.

Duff said her son Luca Cruz is "into everything" according to Us Weekly. "I'm running around the house just trying to keep up with him. He's so fast... He's trying to talk and he's a little aggressive."

But she said another very important part of their lives have changed too — their sex life. When asked how having a child has affected things, she said it has taught the couple how to be creative.

"It's definitely different,” she said. “I'm so exhausted at the end of each day, so I'm like, 'Can this not happen at night when I'm exhausted? You find different times to do it."

The couple have been married for a little over two years now, but aren’t quite ready to think about having another child yet.

"Mike and I are literally so obsessed with Luca,” she told Access Hollywood. “He's perfect! We should just be one and done. But I think once your kid starts getting older you miss that baby phase and you go in for round two."

The former Lizzie McGuire is also working to get her body back in pre-baby shape, but she said it’s not her number one priority right now.

"I am worried because everyone wants their body back,” she said according to Us Weekly. “It's all in time, you know? It took nine months to get there, so hopefully it won't take that long to get it off. But I'm doing it slowly."

Duff hasn’t been doing as much acting lately, but seems to do a part every so often. She also appeared on the last season of Project Runway.

After a 16-month-long engagement, the couple finally tied the knot Saturday at the home of a famous friend.

Donald Faison CaCee Cobb

Donald Faison is officially a married man after tying the knot with fiancée CaCee Cobb Saturday, Dec. 15. The event was a star-studded affair.

The couple has been engaged for 16 months, and were married at the home of Faison’s friend Zach Braff, also his co-star on Scrubs.

Faison announced the engagement back in August 2011 by tweeting a lyric, giving away the news.

“If you like it then you better put a Ring on it,” he tweeted, with a lyric from Beyoncé.

Cobb retweeted Faison’s comment, along with her own message: “If she likes it then she better say YES!!”

Cobb has stayed friends with her former boss, Jessica Simpson, and on their special day, also had a special place for her.

“Simpson — who is pregnant with her second child — served as one of Cobb's bridesmaids, wearing a black dress and carrying a bouquet of red roses,” said Us Weekly. “The 31-year-old singer's separated parents, Tina and Joe Simpson, her fiancé, Eric Johnson, and her younger sister, Ashlee Simpson, also attended the ceremony.”

Cobb, 35, is Jessica Simpson’s former personal assistant, so many fans may remember her from Simpson’s 2004 reality show Newlyweds. She also appeared on a 2010 VH1 reality show called The Price of Beauty.

“Faison — whose film and TV credits include Clueless, Remember the Titans, Waiting to Exhale, Felicity and Can't Hardly Wait — has three children with ex-wife Lisa Askey, and one son from a previous relationship,” said Us Weekly.

Faison is so busy these days, it’s surprising he had time for the wedding. He is appearing on the TV series The Exes, as well as having three films and one other TV series in the works. He will be starring in the 2013 film Kick Ass 2, which will also star Jim Carrey, John Leguizamo and  Nicolas Cage.

Pastina with vegetables

Make Sunday dinner fun with your food! This recipe for pastina with vegetables brings the stars to the table — great fun and great flavor — for kids and adults.

Search for the stars!

Pastina, or "little pasta," is a small, star-shaped pasta, and when we say small, we mean small! Pastina is a common, Italian childhood dish . Not only is it fun to sit down to a bowl of tiny stars, but it's such a tasty dish that you can "beef up" to serve to adults, too. There are many ways you can serve pastina, but this recipe was inspired from the cookbook, Weeknights with Giada, by Giada De Laurentiis.

I used 6 ounces of pastina and 6 ounces of orzo pasta in this recipe. You can use either all pastina, or split it like we did and use any type of small pasta.

Pastina with vegetables recipe

Serves 4-6

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 carrots, diced
  • 1 celery stalk, diced
  • 1/2 white onion, diced
  • 1-1/2 cups frozen peas
  • 6 ounces pastina
  • 6 ounces small-sized pasta like orzo
  • 2 cups chicken or vegetable broth
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus more to sprinkle on individual servings

Directions:

  1. Cook the pasta according to the package directions, or until al dente. Drain, place in a bowl and set aside.
  2. In a large stock pot, heat the olive oil, then add the onion and cook for about 4 minutes, then add the carrot and celery. Cook until the onion softens, just a few minutes longer.
  3. Add the broth to the vegetables, bring to a boil, then allow to simmer for about 5 minutes.
  4. Add the peas to the mixture and cook for about a minute longer.
  5. Toss in the 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, season with the salt and pepper, and mix well.
  6. Add the pasta to the broth and mix well.
  7. Serve in individual bowls and sprinkle each with a bit more Parmesan cheese.

The stars come out for Sunday Dinner!

Adam Lambert says "Men are divas too"

Adam Lambert is hosting a traditionally female-fronted show, but he knows he's the right person for the job.

Adam Lambert

Adam Lambert seemed like an odd choice to host VH1 Divas, being that he is a man and all. But the more you think about it, the more it seems to make perfect sense. For Lambert, he said that he can be just as much a diva as any woman. The former American Idol contestant said that his hosting duties will include singing, dancing, and of course, having a killer wardrobe.

“A lot of the ideas for how I’ll be dressed are mine,” he told the Hollywood Reporter. “Some of them I wish I could blame on somebody else, but I can't.”

He added that he will be changing outfits "a zillion times."

Another part of the gig includes skits to play throughout the show, at least one of them with fellow diva Nene Leakes from Real Housewives of Atlanta. Lambert said the sketch will showcase Leakes as his diva coach.

“We've pre-recorded a sketch that's quite funny," he told The Hollywood Reporter. "I haven't seen the final edit yet so I hope I'm actually funny... But we had so much fun filming it so I think people will get a kick out of it."

VH1 Divas has quite the lineup for its Sunday show, including American Idol winners Jordin Sparks and  Kelly Clarkson, as well as Demi LovatoMiley Cyrus, Ciara, Kelly Rowland and Keri Hilson. The show will also be doing tribute to two divas lost in the last year — Donna Summer and Whitney Houston. The Donna Summer tribute will be handled by Lambert, as well as Rowland and Hilson.

“I'm doing a medley of songs by Donna Summer and they're both fantastic singers,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. “For my [own] musical performances there's dancers involved and a few of them are actually good friends of mine. So it will be fun to be on stage with close friends. It always makes for a better experience when you're connecting with the people that you're sharing a stage with.”

VH1 Divas airs on VH1 Sunday night.
