Aside from intimately embracing one another on the cover of Love magazine (see below), the two were also seen getting touchy-feely at the British Fashion Awards on Dec. 1.

Delevingne and Jenner have yet to comment on the relationship, but we're going to say that the girls appear to be pretty close. Check out these photos of the two of them and judge for yourself.

Though neither has confirmed their sexuality, Delevingne has been romantically linked to multiple women, including Michelle Rodriguez and Kate Moss.

"I'm young, I'm having fun, I don't want to pretend to be something I'm not," Delevingne told the Telegraph during an interview. "So I don't really care on that matter. People can say what they want, but I'm having a good time. I know what people are doing who are my age; I just think it would be a lie to pretend that I'm not having a good time."

Delevingne also confirmed that she feels more comfortable around women than men because she feels that men just want sex.

5 Reasons why Jill and Jessa Duggar hate each other

$

1. They haven't forgotten childhood grudges

In the book, Growing Up Duggar: It's All About Relationships, it was revealed that the sisters were at each other's throats constantly as kids. When mom, Michelle, tried to force Jessa and Jana into working out their differences by making them share a room with bunk beds, Jessa tortured her sister by kicking the bed all night long. Has some of that meanness carried over into Jessa's adult relationships with her siblings?

More: The Duggars want to see you kiss, but only if you're straight (PHOTO)

2. Jill totally stole Jessa's wedding thunder

Jill had barely slipped on her own wedding ring when she announced she was pregnant with her first child — smack in the middle of Jessa's courtship with Ben Seewald. All of a sudden, Duggar Google Alerts were all about the next Duggar baby, instead of the next Duggar wedding.

3. Those Jessa Duggar wedding sex rumors

A Christian blogger, who claims to have attended Jessa's wedding, said she witnessed Jinger walking in on Jessa and Ben gettin' it on in a side room of the church. Gross. Perhaps Jill thinks so, too.

4. Jill is tired of seeing Jessa and Ben making out all the time

They kept their first kiss private — they didn't even smooch at the altar — but now, Jessa and Ben are posting photos of themselves making out on Instagram. No one wants to see that, least of all your family.

Not to be outdone, Jill's husband Derick posted a kiss pic of their own to show her sister she's not the only one with a passionate marriage.

5. They have too much time on their hands

Before the girls were married, they spent most of their time taking care of the younger Duggars while mom, Michelle, was on the public speaking circuit. Now that they are spared the responsibility of little ones — at least, until Jill's baby comes along — that leaves an awful lot of time to ponder things they only gave a passing thought to before. Namely, who has better hair? We think it's a draw, but Jill and Jessa probably ask the mirror who has the fairest tresses all day long.

The flu shot may not work this season — what you need to know

$
0
0

The flu shot may not be able to fully ward off the dreaded disease this season, but is it still worth getting one this year — or shouldn't you bother? And what about the kids if you have them?

Here's the deal: A panel of doctors and other specialists decided last winter what the three biggest strains would be to include in the anti-flu drug. They targeted H1N1, Influenza B and Influenza A (H3N2), three of those that can cause the most serious forms of the disease.

That third strain of Influenza A has since mutated and become the dominant one to strike so far. And the existing vaccine isn't fighting it off so well.

Though it's less effective against fighting the flu completely, it "might reduce the likelihood of severe outcomes such as hospitalization and death," says a CDC advisory on the flu shot.

Dr. Frank Esper, a pediatrics infectious diseases specialist, says that even though the strains don't quite match up, "we don't know the full story — this is the beginning of the story."

"It's definitely worth getting," says Esper, of Rainbow Babies & Children's Hospital at University Hospitals Case Medical Center in Cleveland. "This is one of the first updates of how the flu is turning out to be this year. The predominant strain so far, it does not seem to be as effective against, but that doesn't mean it's not effective at all. It's about half-and-half."

It's likely that if you are vaccinated and catch the flu, it will be milder and won't last as long than if you didn't have the shot at all. And the flu going around now isn't necessarily the same one we'll see after the new year.

No matter what, it's the best way to protect those who are most susceptible, including babies, young children, pregnant women, the elderly, smokers and people with asthma and heart problems.

"When I talk to a mom and they say, 'Hey, should I still get the vaccine?' I say, 'Absolutely!'" Esper tells us. "While it may not be as effective now in December of 2014, we have no idea whether that’s still going to be true in January, February, or March of 2015."

Consider this: Between 100 and 200 kids typically die each year from the flu in America alone. The flu is the #1 most deadly infectious disease by far in the U.S. It's a much bigger threat than Ebola or any of the other terrifying illnesses we hear about, according to Esper.

"None of those come anywhere close to the deaths each and every year caused by influenza," he says.

During 2012-2013, 149 kids died and 12,337 people landed in the hospital because of flu or flu-linked illnesses, the CDC reported, and of those about 90 percent weren't vaccinated.

That's not including the countless others hospitalized with severe flu or those of us who wind up at home in bed missing work for days with a serious bout of the nasty bug.

"It's the best way to prevent the illness, to prevent a child from being hospitalized or a grandparent from dying," Esper says. "When you get the flu shot, you're not only protecting yourself but others around you."

Creamy butternut squash Alfredo sauce is a pasta game-changer

$

Butternut squash are plentiful during the fall and winter months, and while roasting them or adding them to salads is always delicious, why not try something outside the box? I roasted the squash to bring out its natural sweetness and pureed it in a food processor with fresh garlic. Once simmered with cream and Parmesan cheese, this squash turns into something magical and becomes a thick Alfredo sauce perfect for tossing cooked fettuccine into. Serve this up nice and warm, and top with extra grated Parmesan cheese and fresh parsley for a fun spin on Alfredo sauce.

Winter butternut squash fettuccine Alfredo recipe

Thick, rich and creamy, this sauce uses roasted butternut squash as its base, is blended with spices, cream and Parmesan cheese and is then tossed with cooked fettuccine noodles.

Serves 6

Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 1 hour | Inactive time: 10 minutes | Total time: 1 hour 25 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 small butternut squash, cut in half, seeds removed
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • Salt and pepper, to season
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 1/2 cup vegetable broth
  • 1 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 pound fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for garnish, if desired
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F, and line a large baking dish with parchment paper.
  2. Place the 2 squash halves cut side up into the baking dish.
  3. Drizzle each half with the olive oil, rub it all over the flesh with your hands, and then season with salt and pepper.
  4. Roast the squash for about 45 minutes or until it's very soft and starts to caramelize. Remove it from the oven, and allow it to cool for 10 minutes.
  5. With a spoon, scoop out the flesh of the squash, and place it into a food processor or high-speed blender.
  6. Add the garlic and vegetable broth, blend until very smooth, and set it aside.
  7. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add in the fettuccine, and cook as directed on the package.
  8. Drain the noodles, and set them aside. To the pot, add the squash mixture and the heavy cream. Bring to a simmer over medium heat, and cook for 10 minutes.
  9. Add the cooked fettuccine to the pot, and toss the noodles to evenly coat.
  10. Just before serving, toss in the Parmesan cheese, and lightly toss the pasta again.
  11. Divide among serving plates, and garnish with fresh parsley and extra Parmesan, if desired.

Beyoncé's "7/11" video makes all kinds of interesting holiday fashion statements that we can now steal — thanks to Hollywood Reporter's Spring mobile app.

No, you won't be competing in an auction in which the highest bidder scores the actual "Ugly Holiday Ski Lodge Sweater" Bey wears in the video — no one has time for all that. Instead, you'll fork over $40 and buy yourself a lovely replica of the red knit sweater, as well as other items like the light blue "No Angel" tee she wears. Then you'll pair them with underwear and knee pads and everyone will think you've lost your damn mind.

Beyonce 7/11 video clothes

After you've shopped Beyoncé's video shoot, don't stop there — you haven't completed the Beyoncé-ification of your body from head to toe quite yet. Your next purchase will have to be her new nail wrap collection that she created with beauty company NCLA and her personal manicurist, Lisa Logan, and which, at $18 each, I'm betting are selling like hot cakes on shop.Beyonce.com.

Beyonce NCLA nail wraps

Want plaid nails like the ones Bey wore in her "Flawless" video? She's got you covered. Maybe you prefer rainbow nails, jewel-toned mosaics from her "No Rest in the Kingdom" video or black and white nails that announce to the world "I Come With a Side of Trouble" — no matter that you'll be wearing them while spending your Friday night putting three kids in time-out. Remember: Beyoncé has a toddler, too, and is just like us.

Our family Santa secret

$

"You don't have to do that!" We replied in unison. Though kindergarten teachers hear their share of family secrets, and I'm sure my daughter has been the first in line to share some of her own, neither of the grown-ups in the car were interested in hearing all our family secrets on the way home from school.

My daughter ignored our plea.

"Mommy is the Tooth Fairy! But it's a secret!"

Oh. That secret.

She lost her first tooth this summer. She told us she believed in the Tooth Fairy, so we went along with it, until bedtime. When she realized she would fall asleep and a strange Tooth Fairy figure would show up in her room and reach under her pillow, she lost it.

"Please, Mommy, tell me the truth. Are you the Tooth Fairy? I am too scared to believe anymore! I can't go to sleep!"

When met with a decision of fear or sleep, I always choose sleep. I told her the truth. I told her that the story of the Tooth Fairy is just a story. And while we're here, Santa is a story too. When I go in, I go all in. The truth set her free that night and she went to sleep. She woke up the next morning to a new toothbrush and a lollipop under her pillow. I asked her what the Tooth Fairy gave her and she excitedly told me, but added with a whisper, "But you already knew that, because it's you!"

I found out the truth about Santa and the Tooth Fairy and all the mythical childhood characters when I was much older than my kindergartner. When I found out, I felt betrayed. My parents lied. Parents aren't supposed to lie. I promised my parents that I would have children and wouldn't lie to them like they had. I didn't realize it's not that simple. I didn't realize that every kid is different. I didn't realize that what works for one family doesn't always work for another.

Can you tell the truth without ruining the magic?
Can you lie without betraying your kid's trust?

Yes. I believe you can lie or tell the truth and it's OK. Just like with co-sleeping and breastfeeding and baby-led weaning and all the things, parents have to do what works for their family.

Telling my daughter the truth about the Tooth Fairy and Santa made both more exciting to her, not less. She wants to hear the stories. We pretend together. She knows we're pretending and the possibilities are endless. The truth works because of who she is, who we are as a family. And that's our little secret.

7 Ways Taylor Swift and Matt Healy are actually perfect for each other

More: Taylor Swift reportedly pulled a model off the Victoria's Secret runway

1. They're both musicians

Obviously, this one is a "duh." But it's important to build relationships with people who have common interests. Especially because they both don't just sing. They are involved in every aspect of their music. We're honestly just keeping our fingers crossed for a duet in the near future.

2. They're already supporting one another's careers

According to Hollywood Life, Swift was spotted wearing one of Healy's band's T-shirts at the 1975 concert on Nov. 19 in Los Angeles. Then, Healy was spotted wearing one of Swift's 1989 album shirts during his concert.

3. 1975 + 1989 = True love

Not only do they both have a thing for symbolic numbers, but they take their music careers really seriously. Both are working hard. The 1975 is currently touring, while Swift is busy promoting her new album. Between the two of them, they can both understand what a hectic schedule looks like and be understanding of time constraints.

4. They are the same age

Swift has dated men all over the age range board. Swift's ex, Jake Gyllenhaal, is about nine years older than the singer, while her other fling, Harry Styles, is four years her junior. Healy, on the other hand, is just about 8 months older than Swift. And, while we know love has no age limits, it might help them have some solid common ground to start building a relationship.

5. Selena Gomez is also hot for The 1975

Swift's BFF, Selena Gomez, also apparently has her eye on one of Healy's bandmates, George Daniel. We're sure they would have the cutest double dates ever.

6. He's got that long, tousled hair and those bad boy tattoos

Not to bring up Styles again... but he's a perfect example of Swift's type. And Healy kinda sorta looks like him. He definitely fits the rocker vibe. Though, he's more indie than Styles' pop, we're thinking Swift really digs those edgy ones.

7. They aren't afraid to discuss their crushes publicly

We know Swift writes about all her relationships, of course, and Healy doesn't seem afraid of that possibility. In fact, he talked about his Swift crush before she did!

According to the Daily Mail, Healy revealed in an interview that he and Swift had "exchanged numbers." And he gushed, "Let's see what happens, she's a sensation."

More: We can't see Miley Cyrus' talent past her twerking

Since she shed her squeaky-clean disney image two years ago, the "Wrecking Ball" singer has been shedding clothing as well, stepping out in progressively racier getups, seemingly every time she leaves home.

Miley seems (as her countrified past self would say) determined as heck to let us all know how comfortable she is in her own skin, and hey, if the girl can feel like partying all night in tights and pasties, more power to her.

It's been a long progression that got her to the tights-and-pasties point, though. Check out these 11 images of nearly-nude Miley we were able to round up. And if you want more, look no further than her Twitter and Instagram accounts. The girl loves her a naked(ish) selfie.

6 Things to know about Zoella, the author who broke J.K. Rowling's record

$

More: 5 Things we hope J.K. Rowling tells us about Umbridge

The young author just dropped her debut book, Girl Online, and smashed some pretty impressive records — she sold more copies in her first week than anyone since the record was established, including J.K. Rowling's Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, Dan Brown's The Da Vinci Code and E L James' Fifty Shades of Grey.

It turns out, the CEO of Penguin Random House only signed Zoella, whose real name is Zoe Elizabeth Sugg, because his goddaughter said the book would be "a huge best-seller."

Since it is, in fact, a huge best seller, here are six things you should learn about Zoella — unless you're a teen girl, in which case you already know these things.

More: J.K. Rowling finally addresses romance novel rumors

1. She's vastly, globally popular — almost exclusively among young girls

If you haven't heard of Zoella, don't be concerned. And if you have heard of her, but you don't get her at all, still don't be concerned. Her massive fan base is comprised almost entirely of young girls — girls who live and die by fashion and makeup. You know, things that are "quiche" and "reem," as Zoella would say. We think those words mean "cool," but really, it's anyone's guess.

2. She's one of the most followed celebrities in Britain

Zoella's YouTube channel has more than 6 million subscribers. 3.5 million people follow her on Instagram and 2.6 million follow her on Twitter, making her one of the U.K.'s most prominent online celebrities.

3. She's winning awards like crazy

Zoella was crowned Best British Vlogger 2013 at the Radio 1 Teen Awards and, this year, she won UK Favourite Vlogger at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Awards.

4. She's extremely shy

She may look ridiculously poised in her videos, but Zoella is actually extremely shy and suffers from anxiety and panic attacks. She once panicked and had to leave a One Direction concert early.

"We were surrounded by people and it was so unexpected and stressful that the security men had to rescue me," she told the Telegraph. "I was so upset I had to go home before a single note was played."

5. She's surrounded by people who are famous online

Zoella's brother is another YouTube star who goes by the name of Thatcher Joe. Her grandfather has more than 40,000 Instagram followers. And her boyfriend, Alfie, and her best friend, Louise, both have successful YouTube channels. The three are known as the "Brit Crew," and they often appear in each other's videos, which pools their followers.

6. She's squeaky clean

According to one journalist, Zoella is "the perfect role model: creative, clean-living, kind to small animals, going steady." The 24-year-old vlogger refuses to get a tattoo or any more piercings — she already has one in each ear — and she doesn't drink or do drugs.

"I know that I do have influence over the people who watch me, and it's quite a pressure," she said in one interview. "I have to stay positive and while I would never use the words 'role model', I am mindful of the responsibilities that come with a substantial viewership."

Puff pastry Christmas trees are the cutest edible centerpieces ever

$

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

Start by thawing your puff pastry according to the package directions, and then cutting out stars of various sizes. You will want three to four different sizes per Christmas tree. I used the Wilton star nesting cookie cutters.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

Place the stars on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake in a 400-degree F oven for about 8 minutes, until puffed and just barely golden.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

While the stars bake, it's time to make your green sugar. Use a gel or paste food coloring rather than liquid which will melt your sugar.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

Use a toothpick to add the color to your sugar, then whisk it together with a fork. It will look like this halfway through if you use a paste food coloring like I did (Wilton icing color in Kelly Green).

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

If there are any lumps or chunks, sift your sugar to separate those out.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

When the stars are puffed and just turning golden, remove them from the oven, but leave the oven on to melt your glaze.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

Brush the top of each star with an egg wash...

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

...then dip the top of the star into the green sugar, making sure it's completely coated. Place the sugar-coated stars back on the baking sheet and pop them in the oven for another 1-2 minutes, until the sugar is just barely melted. You'll notice in a photo below that my biggest stars collapsed in the center. This isn't a problem as that's hidden once the trees are stacked.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

While the stars cool, make your royal icing, whipping it on high until stiff glossy peaks form. You will have lots of leftover icing to use for Christmas cookies or gingerbread houses.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

Place a dollop of icing on the bottom of your stars before stacking them.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

If you're making a centerpiece, arrange a layer of shredded coconut "snow" on a platter and nestle your trees into it.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

I suggest waiting until just before guests arrive to add the raspberry on top of your tree so that they're still fresh by dessert time.

puff-pastry-Christmas-tree-centerpiece

Puff pastry Christmas tree centerpiece recipe

Inspired by Pepperidge Farm

These puff pastry trees make an easy edible centerpiece. A box of puff pastry usually includes two sheets, so feel free to use the second sheet to make more trees. The only other ingredient that will need to be doubled is the raspberries.

Makes 3

Prep time: 25 minutes | Bake time: 10 minutes | Total time: 35 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • Green food coloring (gel or paste)
  • 1 egg
  • 2 teaspoons water
  • 5 egg whites
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup shredded coconut
  • 3 fresh raspberries

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F.
  2. Thaw the puff pastry according to package directions, then use star-shaped cookie cutters to cut out your shapes. I did 2 extra-large stars, 3 large, 3 medium and 3 small.
  3. Place the stars on a parchment-lined cookie sheet and bake for about 8 minutes, until puffed and barely golden.
  4. Mix the granulated sugar and food coloring until the sugar is a nice green shade, sifting out any clumps.
  5. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and water to make your egg wash.
  6. Brush puffed stars with egg wash, and dip their tops into the green sugar, making sure they're evenly coated.
  7. Bake another 1-2 minutes, until sugar has just melted.
  8. While glazed stars are cooling, whisk the egg whites until foamy.
  9. Add the vanilla extract, then whisk in 1 cup of powdered sugar at a time. Beat the icing on high for 6 to 8 minutes, until stiff glossy peaks form.
  10. Use a small dollop of icing on the bottom of your top layers of stars to assemble the trees.
  11. Sprinkle a layer of coconut on your platter, then nestle the trees in it.
  12. Top each tree with a raspberry just before serving.

Brandy Clark: 10 Things to know about the Grammy-nominated artist

$
0
0

1. Her grandma will always be her muse

As a child, Clark's grandmother used to enlist the young girl to model her "I Skied Down Mount St. Helens May 18, 1980" T-shirts (with "authentic" burn holes, no less) at the local flea market, so it's no wonder she's a woman who loves a unique personality. "When Mount St. Helens erupted," she said, "I remember my grandmother just standing on the porch, smoking a cigarette and watching hot mud fall from the sky. My grandmother was my favorite character in life."

2. She doesn't fit the "commercial" mold, and she's OK with that

"I had been passed on a lot. I think it's because I didn't really fit what is a mainstream country artist," Clark said. "I was over 30 and over a size 2. I was kinda more your average woman than your average supermodel, which is why my music resonates, though."

3. She's one of country music's small, but growing, number of openly gay artists

No word on whether she currently has a romantic interest, but Clark feels confident the country community will respond warmly to any future partners. "I feel so fortunate to be in a time where I am embraced completely as who I am and I don't have to hide who I am in any way," she said. "I hope that we've broken some boundaries and things are changing. I feel very included in the country music community."

4. You may not know her name, but you know her music

Sure, you may not know you know her music, but you do. Songs written by Clark have been recorded by the likes of Reba McEntire, Kenny Rogers, Darius Rucker and Sheryl Crow. She cowrote Miranda Lambert's smash hit "Mama's Broken Heart" with Kacey Musgraves, who she shares a CMA nomination with for Song of the Year for Musgraves' "Follow Your Arrow." She also wrote The Band Perry's first No. 1 single, "Better Dig Two."

5. She's a bit of a rabble-rouser

During last year's televised airing of the CMA Awards, Clark and Musgraves' song "Follow Your Arrow" was censored for the line "roll up a joint." But chances are pretty good it won't be the last censoring she'll get. "Like I said early on to my manager, my music is Showtime and HBO, and I'm going to always keep it Showtime and HBO," Clark said of her edgy style, which includes songs like "Get High," "Take a Little Pill," and "Hungover."

6. She's used to work at a lumber mill

Prior to achieving success as a songwriter, Clark grew up and lived in the small Washington mill town of Morton, where working-class people often take perilous jobs to make ends meet. She lost her father, a logger, to an on-the-job accident. Her mother worked in human resources at the same mill as her father, while Clark herself slung lumber at a fencing mill.

7. Accordingly, hard-working people are her favorite subjects

"I get my inspiration from real people who are just surviving their life and getting through their day," explained Clark. "That's who I write songs for." Her affinity for working-class people is a lifelong love, which has led to her obsession with the hard-hitting vocals of powerhouse country icons like Loretta Lynn and, naturally, Merle Haggard.

8. She's becoming an old pro on the tour circuit

First, Clark hit the road with Jennifer Nettles, and says the tour had a laid-back vibe thanks to a lot of outdoor amphitheaters and fairs. Then she tackled Eric Church's massive Outsiders tour, during which she opened for Church and Kacey Musgraves. In January of 2015, she'll kick off the year on Alan Jackson's 25th Anniversary Keepin' It Country tour.

9. Her song "Crazy Women" could be about Mad Men's Betty Draper

While Clark didn't necessarily have a specific person in mind while writing "Crazy Women," her cowriter Jesse Jo Dillon sure did. "Jesse Jo told me how, to her, that woman is Betty Draper from Mad Men. She said when we were writing that song, that's who was in her head."

10. She has a very specific dream singer for her songs

"Patty Loveless would be huge," Clark admitted. "She's one of my biggest influences. If she cut one of my songs, that would be just… I would probably have to take a day to do nothing but think about it. And listen to it on repeat." Yeah, we would too.

If you're still wounded over the death of Beth on the midseason finale of TWD, you're not alone. As soon as the episode was over, fans took to social media to express their sadness and outrage over the loss. A few fans expressed their feelings in some unique ways as well.

More: 9 Reasons this Walking Dead death ruined my night

1. Petition: Bring Beth back!

Amanda T. of Portland, Maine, went to Change.org to voice her disappointment with AMC. In fact, she was so upset over Beth's death that she decided to write a petition to get the character back on the show. The letter is written to The Walking Dead, AMC Entertainment and showrunner Scott Gimple. Her petition is a heartfelt plea to bring back Beth for a number of reasons, including the fact that "her death was far too soon" and "her story wasn't over." Amanda also called Beth's death "disgusting" and "unsatisfying." While it's doubtful the petition will actually bring Beth back to the show, we do have to give Amanda first place for the most extreme reaction to the episode.

2. A tribute in hair

Another man took to Twitter and posted what appears to be a photo of his head shaved into an image of Daryl carrying Beth's poor lifeless body at the end of the episode. We can't swear that this image is real and not photoshopped, but if it is real then we definitely have our second-place winner for the most extreme reaction to Beth's death.

3. Look at the flowers, AMC

One fan posted a meme on Twitter that asked AMC to "look at the flowers." Considering that the phrase basically means you are to turn around and get a bullet to the head, we're going to count it as another extreme reaction.

4. Beth lives on in Daryl

While this fan's reaction isn't exactly extreme, it is beautiful. They posted a meme on Twitter depicting a saddened Daryl, his head literally filled with images of the good times he and Beth shared. Whether you were a fan who wanted them to become a couple or just liked seeing their bond as brotherly/sisterly, this image is bound to make you tear up.

5. Beth's death got me like

Another fan posted a meme that easily depicts how every fan felt at the end of the episode — drowning in a pool of our own tears. The image itself isn't extreme, but the sentiment behind it is, a bit. After all, we are only talking about a fictional character here, but that doesn't matter. When she died we all cried like we had lost a friend.

6. Goodbye, Beth and Emily

This fan's meme isn't just a reaction to losing Beth as a character, it's also about losing the actress who played her. Some of the images in it show Emily Kinney (Beth) and her on-screen sister Lauren Cohan (Maggie) hugging and having a good time on set. It's a reminder that the loss will be felt behind the scenes as well.

7. Beth and Hershel

This meme is probably one of the most emotional ones out there. It's just an image taken from an earlier season, showing Hershel hugging Beth in happier times. But as you look closer, you see they are depicted in heaven and it reminds you that they are reunited again. It will make you smile even as you cry.

9-Year-old 'supermodel' threatens sanity of women

The little girl's name is Kristina Pimenova. She is originally from Moscow. She's blonde, absolutely beautiful and photogenic.

It shouldn't shock anyone, but Kristina's mother used to be a model, too. This woman knows that the best way to help her daughter gain exposure is through social media, so she has set up both Instagram and Facebook pages that are teeming with photos of her daughter. The majority of the pictures are innocent and sweet. Some feature her wearing knee-high boots. And there are a few I wish didn't exist, like the ones that show her in a coquettish pose.

Kristina Pimenova

Kristina Pimenova

We could spend a great deal of time dissecting this mom's motivations and whether she's nuts to expose her daughter to potential pedophiles. But there's one aspect of this story that few seem to be speaking about — forget creepy men for a sec — why are so many adult women following this young model and commenting about her photos?

Comments like these:

"Please punch me."

"She's 9 and prettier than both of us combined."

"It's sad that a 9-year-old is prettier than me."

"I want your eyes."

"She's sooooo pretty and then there's me."

"Prettier than I'll ever be."

It isn't enough that women have to have size C-cup breasts, a Kim Kardashian booty, and Jessica Simpson legs. We now have to allow our bodies to age — but only to the point where they are fertile and muscular in all the right places — while keeping the rest of our features looking just like they did before puberty.

Kristina Pimenova

In the meantime, some folks in the fashion industry have also decided it makes sense to pose a child in expensive clothing that only some adult women can afford and expect us to want to buy them because we secretly yearn to be children again. Things have taken such a bizarre turn that a line of pants called Not Your Daughter's Jeans, marketed for the woman who would rather be Sophia Loren than Miley Cyrus, has to exist so that you won't mistakenly purchase jeans that show off your vagina.

Can we please get a grip here. This little girl is gorgeous, there is no doubt about that. But she should be thought of, first and foremost, as a little girl and not as competition or as a prototype for the "perfect woman," whatever that means.

9 Reasons Supernatural's Castiel is better than your dad

I know that technically Claire isn't Castiel's daughter, just the daughter of the meat suit he is currently occupying. But with Jimmy out of commission thanks to Cas taking over his body, having an angel as your pop could be better than the real thing.

1. He's a little gullible

Want to throw a big party with your friends? Need to "borrow" your dad's credit card for some "important school books"? While you'd probably never be able to pull that stuff off with a human dad, you could maybe get it past Castiel.

Supernatural - The Things We Left Behind

2. He's got angel strength

Talk about a dad who would be great to have around the house! He could lift up the furniture to help you find stuff or even just get the lid off the pickle jar whenever you needed it.

3. He'd be able to find you if you ever got lost

Don't worry about GPS. With a dad like Castiel, you wouldn't ever have to worry about being lost again. If you took a wrong turn, he could just pop into the car and tell you which way to go.

4. He's got friends like Sam and Dean Winchester

Castiel has some pretty cool friends, none more cool than the Winchesters. Though it's doubtful he'd ever let you date one of them (he's not that gullible), it would probably still be fun to hang out with them every once in a while.

Supernatural - The Things We Leave Behind

5. He has a badass car you could borrow

Sure, it's no 1967 Impala, but Castiel has some fantastic wheels of his own. The best part? That monster of a vehicle could easily fit about 20 of your friends.

6. You could go anywhere on family vacations

With a snap of his fingers, Castiel can be anywhere he wants. If you've been dreaming of a summer vacation in Hawaii or a ski vacation in the Alps, there's no need to book a flight. Daddy Cas can take you wherever you want.

7. He's on speaking terms with the King of Hell

This might not seem like a good thing at first, but having the King of Hell on speed dial has its merits. Sure, Cas would probably have to work out a deal that could end all humanity, but he could get Crowley to help you out with that pesky history assignment.

Supernatural - The Things We Leave Behind

8. Luckily, his wings are invisible

Having an angel for a dad is great, but there's nothing worse than having him show up at your school with his wings trailing on the ground. So it's a good thing that Castiel's wings are only visible when he wants them to be.

9. He'll stop any creepy guys from harassing you

That weird dude who keeps bothering you after gym class? He won't come anywhere near you once he finds out your dad is an angel. You'll just have to make sure Cas doesn't pop the poor guy onto another continent.

Supernatural - The Things We Left Behind

To see how Castiel does at being a father, be sure to check out the Supernatural Season 10 midseason finale, "The Things We Leave Behind," on Tuesday at 9/8c on the CW.

12 Playboy bunnies allege Bill Cosby raped them — read the shocking details

Former bunny P.J. Masten told CNN that she was one of those women, and she described the shocking attack in detail.

The ex-Playboy Club waitress said that, back in 1972, Cosby invited her on a dinner date and asked her to meet him at his hotel. When she arrived, four of Cosby's friends were there watching sports and the comedian offered her a Grand Marnier on the rocks.

"The next thing I knew, it was 4:00 in the morning," Masten told CNN. "I woke up in a bed naked, bruised. He was laying next to me, and I slithered out of the bed... I got myself together, I went downstairs, I got in a cab, and I went home."

"There were bruise marks all over me. I knew I was raped."

When she reported the alleged assault to her Playboy Club supervisor, she was dissuaded from going to the police because Cosby was best friends with Hugh Hefner.

"She said, 'Well, nobody is going to believe you. I suggest you keep your mouth shut,'" Masten remembered.

Then she dropped the bombshell: A dozen more Playboy bunnies claim Cosby assaulted them, too.

"[There are] 12 former bunnies that I know of that are ashamed to come forward, frightened to come forward, married with families [and] don't want to come forward," she said. "But they were also drugged and raped by Bill Cosby."

These alleged victims are in addition to at least 15 other women who have already come forward, plus a woman who reports that Cosby assaulted her at the Playboy Mansion when she was just 15 years old.

Maybe it's because I've had my very sharp chef's knife slip off the hard exterior one too many times, but I have to admit that prepping winter squash makes me a little nervous. While I am perfectly comfortable in my knife-wielding skills otherwise, I have to ask: How in the world do I even begin to peel an acorn squash with all those funky ridges?

If those super-expensive bags of precut squash from the grocery store are looking pretty appealing right about now, resist. These ingenious techniques for handling squash will save you time, might save a few fingers and will definitely save on frustration. Looks like that silky-smooth soup might be in my future after all.

Kurt Sutter wants heads to roll after Sons of Anarchy spoiler leak

His "apology" is a lot less like an apology and a lot more like a declaration of war that would fit nicely within the context of the show.

More: Katey Sagal's secrets to staying smoking hot at 60

Sutter released this "apology" Friday morning after some copies of the Sons of Anarchy Collector's Edition Book were sent out a week early. Sounds great for those fans who had preordered. Except it's not so great, because the book contains details about what happens in the series finale, which doesn't even air until next week.

WARNING: We aren't kidding when we say Sutter is declaring war. And he uses some really colorful language to express his anger.

"It has been brought to my attention that our SOA Collector's Edition Book has been sent out a week early by some distributors and book outlets," Sutter said in the statement. "This book contains details about the final episode of the series. This, my friends is a storyteller's worst nightmare. I wanted this book to be a compliment [sic] to the show. It contains personal messages and photos from the cast, in-depth behind the scenes information and detailed breakdown of episodes. It's a smart, well-conceived book that I was very excited for fans to have. AFTER the motherf***ing finale. There are a thousand f***ing people I can blame. And I assure you, by the time I am done, my f***ing basket will be filled with heads of incompetent c***s."

More: The Sons of Anarchy/Hamlet parallel means certain death for [SPOILER]

And Sutter doesn't stop there: "But as far as the fans go, the burden is on me. I f***ed up. It was my idea for the book, so ultimately, I am to blame. So if you received a book, I apologize. I ask that you not share your wrath or pain or opinion in social media so as to not spoil the experience of others. There is no excuse for utter ineptitude. It pains me that this will be the parting memory of some fans. I hope you all tune in for the finale. It plays much better than it reads."

More: Sons of Anarchy baby names

We're joining the force of fans supporting Sutter by not spoiling the series finale for ourselves, and we encourage everyone to respect the hard work of everyone involved in the show by doing the same.

The Sons of Anarchy finale airs Tuesday at 10:00 p.m. on FX.
