Donnie Wahlberg's junk's got the right stuff, baby

OK, here it goes: McCarthy appeared on Andy Cohen's Watch What Happens Live on Wednesday and she was happy to answer any questions that callers had, including the question about how her sex life has changed since she became a married woman. And, boy, has it changed!

"Without a doubt, it gets better every single time I make love to him. First of all, he has the most beautiful penis I've ever seen in my life. But you know what it is, he knows how to [use it]," she said of her husband, who she wed in August this year and who happened to be in the audience on Wednesday night.

Jenny McCarthy educates her horrified son on sex

Fellow guest on the show, Tom Bergeron, then decided to ask why the Blue Bloods actor has the most beautiful penis (and we wish that he had never asked).

"Sometimes they're deformed-looking and sometimes they're a different color that you're not used to," McCarthy replied. "Some are, like, purple. Some are pink.

"The size is perfect. I can't get too descriptive. But, you know what I mean! It fits my vagina perfectly and hits the spots right. But the thing about it is... he makes love to a woman," she continued.

"Not any woman!" Wahlberg shouted. "Just you!"

Jenny McCarthy already lost her ginormous wedding ring

And although the couple's sex life is great now, McCarthy didn't just jump straight into the sack with Wahlberg on their first date; she held out.

"I know there was a two in it, so I don't know if it was two days, two weeks or two months. Remember, it took two weeks for him to call me," she said. Well, he eventually called and look where they are now? Sharing information on how great their sex life is!

This is a book we can't wait to read: Joan Rivers' diary

Hot on the heels of the announcement that she will be receiving the bulk of Joan Rivers' estate, Melissa posted an extremely touching photo of her mother with her son, Cooper. The photo shows a tiny Cooper being pushed on a swing by his grandmother, who is uncharacteristically wearing jeans and a T-shirt.

Melissa's caption reads: "Connecticut, 2004. Mom + Cooper = BFFs... A perfect day. #TBT." The sentimental caption illustrates that all the money in the world can't bring back what Melissa and Cooper really want, which is for Joan to still be in their lives.

Joan Rivers and Cooper

Joan Rivers and Cooper

Word came down this week that Melissa is set to inherit $100 million from Joan, according to Us Weekly. $75 million of the endowment is to be cash and Melissa will also take ownership of her mother's $35 million condominium in New York's posh Upper East Side. Cooper was also named separately in Joan's will.

Joan was undergoing a routine, outpatient surgery on her throat on Aug. 28, when she suddenly went into cardiac arrest and was rushed from the clinic in New York City to a nearby hospital. She was on life support for several days and, on Sept. 4, Melissa announced that her mother had passed away.

After an uproar claiming that the clinic was responsible for what happened to Joan and following numerous rumors, including one saying that the doctor performing the surgery took a selfie during the operation, Joan's death was put under investigation by the coroner. Last week, the New York City Office of Chief Medical Examiner released a report calling the cause of death a "predictable complication," which, in essence, means that the professionals involved probably could not have done anything to prevent Joan's passing.

Melissa took to Twitter to respond to the medical examiner's findings.

8 Things that will save your sanity on a road trip with kids

DVD player for the car

Portable DVD players and cheap movies

If you don't drive a vehicle that's tricked out with an entertainment system, you need to invest in a portable DVD player. I know you think your kids will be delighted by the sight of cows and license plates, but the truth is the novelty will wear off after about 22 minutes. After that you need good, old-fashioned screen time. Throw in a few $5 DVDs and you've got hours of on-the-road entertainment. (Target, $120)

car organizer

A tricked-out car organizer (full of snacks)

Listen I know you think you're above super dorky car organizers, but when you're going 70 mph on the highway and your kids are asking for snacks and they lost their markers and they have trash for you to take and you just need a sip of your kombucha, you'll be glad you ponied up for the ugly organizer. I bought this and packed it full of cheese sticks and carrots and those lunch box ice packs and lots of granola bars. The little pockets came in super handy for all the little fiddly things like chargers and hand sanitizer. (Amazon, $30)

headphones for kids

Headphones for kids

The key to not losing your mind on a long road trip with small children is being able to play your own music for therapeutic amounts of time. Since you can't wear headphones safely while driving, you have to stick the headphones on your kids. I didn't tune my kids out for the entire 24 hours we were in the car, but I definitely had them use the headphones during annoying movies and while they were playing video games. (Amazon, $20)

wet wipes

Cleaning supplies for the inevitable

No matter how careful you are, someone is going to spill something in the car. That, or you'll be out all day and your kids will get filthy and you won't be anywhere near bathrooms when you need them. That's where wet wipes and paper towels and one spare gym towel come in handy. I stuck a bunch of grocery bags in an old coffee container and put the wet wipes in my car organizer. And yeah, I needed them eventually. Just make a habit of throwing out your trash bags and starting fresh every time you get gas. (Amazon, $2)

star wars sticker book

Sticker books with tons of stickers

In my experience, coloring doesn't work out so well in the car. Kids drop things and scream about marker lids and crayons become projectiles and it's a bad scene. Stickers, on the other hand, aren't quite as disastrous. My kids love those Ultimate Sticker Collection books like this Star Wars minifigure sticker book. It takes ages to move all the stickers — resulting in plenty of quiet car time. (Amazon, $11)

water bottle for kids

Reusable water bottles

Don't waste a zillion juice boxes on your trip. Buy one big bottle of water and refill your kids' bottles when you stop for gas and bathroom breaks. I like bottles that won't spill. The SIGG kids' travel series include bottles that are nice and narrow, making them perfect for car seat cup holders. They're not inexpensive, so make sure they don't go rolling out of the car when you stop for a break. (Sigg, $30)

handheld gaming system

A handheld gaming system

I know, more screen time. But honestly, most of your actual vacation will be spent out of the car doing fun things as a family. While you're getting there, it's OK to let kids game their little hearts out. Whether you go with a tablet or a handheld system like the Nintendo 2DS, your kids will have plenty to do. (I'm not saying to buy a handful of these, but if you don't already own them like we did, consider borrowing from friends.) And don't forget to have the kids use those headphones. I regulated game time by insisting that the kids hand me their systems whenever we were actually driving by something more interesting than cows. (Target, $200)

atlas for kids

An atlas for kids

I think it's really important to involve kids in the road trip process. Even though you'll spend a lot of time creatively getting them to shut up, that doesn't mean you're disengaging entirely. Talk about milestones and landmarks. Use a child-friendly map or atlas for kids to show your kids where you're heading. Ask for help navigating. And don't forget to pick up plenty of free brochures at rest areas and welcome centers. Kids love the pictures and love it when you ask them to "teach" you about where you're headed. (Amazon, $6)

Chrissy Teigen thinks Instagram users are nicer than Twitterers

Brad Pitt reveals he got his first shotgun when he was in kindergarten

Teigen felt the wrath of Twitter on Thursday, after breaking the cardinal rule of keeping things neutral in social interactions: Don't talk about religion or politics. After making a comment about gun control, Teigen became the victim of backlash so hateful, the model announced that she will be taking her "talents to Instagram."

The controversy started over a tweet Teigen posted on Wednesday regarding the tragic shooting that took place at the Canadian parliament. Teigen's tweet was meant to be benign, but ruffled some feathers because some perceived it to be anti-American in nature. It also might have been a little bit "too soon" for anyone to be making a joke out of the situation. Things escalated quickly and Teigen attempted to explain herself, though she offered no apology for her comments.

The comments aimed at Teigen became extremely malicious and ranged from death threats towards her, to homophobic slurs made about her husband, John Legend.

Teigen attempted to change the Twitter conversation, but then began to retweet some of the horrible comments she was receiving. She also seemed to be pointing a finger at Twitter itself for not being more vigilant in regulating threatening posts when she posted a screenshot of death threats with the caption, "And this is where @twitter needs to step their game up."

Then she just threw in the towel.

Chrissy Teigen quits Twitter

Chrissy Teigen quits Twitter

We hope that Teigen finds the peace she wants on Instagram, but if she thinks people are nicer or comments are more policed over there, she's got another thing coming. Hatemongers hide behind their keyboards on all forms of social media, be it Twitter, Instagram or Facebook, and as illustrated by the recent Snoop Dogg/Iggy Azalea feud, no one is safe from internet bullying anywhere.

Teigen made the public "I'm quitting" statement, but didn't deactivate her account, so something tells us she'll be back as soon as she finds the grass isn't greener over on Instagram.

Baked sriracha butternut squash fries

Butternut squash makes for a great variation on fries. The trick is cooking them entirely under the broiler so you get a crispy exterior while the inside is still soft, like a good fry should be. They're tossed in Sriracha before baking and then they're dipped in a Sriracha yogurt sauce as you eat them. Basically, it's a spice lover's dream.

Baked sriracha butternut squash fries

Baked Sriracha butternut squash fries recipe

Use the broiler on these butternut squash fries to achieve the perfect crispy exterior and soft fry-like interior.

Serves 4

Prep time: 35 minutes | Cook time: 25 minutes | Total time: 1 hour

Ingredients:

  • 1 medium butternut squash, peeled, seeds removed and cut into fry/matchstick shape
  • Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil
  • 3 teaspoons Sriracha, divided
  • 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  • 1 small garlic clove, minced

Directions:

  1. Lay fries out flat on a paper towel. Sprinkle a generous amount of kosher salt on top and let sit for 30 minutes. The squash will start to "sweat." After 30 minutes, wipe off moisture with another paper towel.
  2. Preheat oven to broil and move a rack to the upper third of the oven.
  3. Toss squash with olive oil and 1-1/2 to 2 teaspoons of Sriracha depending on heat preference.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lay the squash in a single layer on the sheet.
  5. Place baking sheet on the highest rack and broil for about 5 minutes per side until browned and crispy, about 20 to 25 minutes total.
  6. While fries bake, make the dipping sauce by mixing together the yogurt, remaining Sriracha and garlic in a small bowl.
  7. Serve fries warm from the oven with the sauce.

1. Lynn Shelton makes quirky, funny indie films about relationships

If you want to see a totally relatable film, get to know Lynn Shelton's work. You may remember 2011's Your Sister's Sister, starring Emily Blunt, but she's got an adorable new film called Laggies, starring KeiraKnightley and Chloë Grace Moretz, which opens on Oct. 24. Shelton is dynamite when it comes to focusing on the subtleties of family and relationship dynamics.

When it comes to Shelton's point of view, she says, "I like to put people into situations that are out of their comfort zone and see what happens."

2. Jennifer Lee makes girl power animated films for kids

The film, Frozen, has landed in our zeitgeist and isn't going anywhere soon. Codirectors, Jennifer Lee and Chris Buck, have knocked the musical story telling experience out of the park. Jennifer Lee also wrote the screenplay, making her a wondrous, double threat.

About the current studio system in Hollywod that favors men, Lee said, "I don't know what the magic formula would be to change it; I'd love to find it. I love that there are more women. The more women do bigger films as well, I think the more that will help. I think all we can do is keep pushing."

3. Anne Fletcher makes broad comedies

If you like to cluck at physical humor from big stars, check out Anne Fletcher's movies. 2009's The Proposal, starring Sandra Bullock, was hilarious, as was 2012's The Guilt Trip, starring Seth Rogen and Barbra Streisand. Fletcher just recently announced she'll also be directing Enchanted 2, a sequel to the film that starred Amy Adams.

About making big, silly comedies, Fletcher said, "Sometimes you just shoot really big stuff, make it really over the top, and then you do a little less than that, and when you're in the editing room, you go, how far can we go with this? How much do we want to pull back? Once you've got all of the pieces, you just find your rhythm in the editing room, and then what I like to do is have a handful of friends and family screenings to see and feel how the movie is playing."

4. Lucy Walker makes documentaries

If you are fascinated by real stories about extraordinary individuals, Lucy Walker's non-fictional films will blow you away. They are the perfect blend of true-story reporting and poetry. With two Oscar nominations under her white and gold belt for her movies Waste Land and The Tsunami and the Cherry Blossom, her more recent film, The Crash Reel, stunned audiences. It focuses on the rivalry between Olympic snowboarders, Shaun White and Kevin Pearce, before and after Pearce suffers a traumatic brain injury. Look for her new film, The Lion's Mouth Opens, coming soon to HBO.

About the bias against female directors, Walker said, "There are still people who have an issue working with a woman director. Women can be viewed as 'difficult' even though they work in the same way as men."

Of course, you're probably already familiar with Kathryn Bigelow's films, The Hurt Locker and Zero Dark Thirty. Bigelow's true talent is to be able to enter an intense, dangerous and foreign world while revealing the truth and ugliness of the situation.

In a recent interview SheKnows conducted with Jeremy Renner, he said this about Bigelow, "She's amazing, badass. She's a painter, more than a filmmaker. She's a wonderful observer, very visual. Very smart and she's a supermodel — she's gorgeous."

Aaron Paul thinks Barbies are more damaging than meth

Aaron Paul's Emmys speech crashes Kind Campaign website

And although toys that represent meth-making drug dealers may not exactly be family-friendly, Aaron Paul decided to add his two cents on Thursday, reminding the store they are already carrying toys that may be very damaging to children.

Score one for Aaron Paul: Did he just win the action fi

Score one for Aaron Paul: Did he just win the action fi

According to E! News, the issue began when a Florida mom started a petition on Change.org about the action figures, saying (in part), "Toys R Us is well known around the world for their vast selection of toys for children of all ages. However their decision to sell a Breaking Bad doll, complete with a detachable sack of cash and a bag of meth, alongside children's toys is a dangerous deviation from their family friendly values.

"While the show may be compelling viewing for adults, its violent content and celebration of the drug trade make this collection unsuitable to be sold alongside Barbie dolls and Disney characters."

Toys"R"Us released a (very short) statement about the removal of the toys, saying, "Let's just say, the action figures have taken an 'indefinite sabbatical.'"

They were in what?! Emmy nominees' past roles

Breaking Bad star, Bryan Cranston, responded to the controversy earlier this week, tweeting, "'Florida mom petitions against Toys 'R Us over Breaking Bad action figures.' I'm so mad, I'm burning my Florida Mom action figure in protest."

What side of this controversy are you on? Do you agree with the Breaking Bad stars or the Florida mom?

In an interview with HuffPost Live on Wednesday, Bergeron told quite the tale about his experience in 2003.

Miss America: I only sort of hazed a little, kinda (VIDEO)

He explained to host, Nancy Redd, "Here's the thing. It wasn't my fault. We were in Atlantic City and we were doing our rehearsals and everything before the live show, and I'm backstage looking over some notes, and all of a sudden I start getting a really nice neck and shoulder massage."

That forbidden massage was handed down by "one of the Southern state contestants, who shall remain nameless," Bergeron shared. "I said, 'That's a really nice shoulder massage.' And she said — and I quote — 'And if I win, a full body massage.'"

Miss America so nasty even her own sorority didn't want her

Yikes! It's pretty well-known that there are strict rules for the hosts and the judges of the pageant to not fraternize with the contestants. While this incident wasn't instigated by the Dancing with the Stars host, he made the mistake of telling the story on a talk show soon after the event.

Bergeron said, "Oddly enough, the Miss America people never invited me back."

People should stop freaking out about Miss America's past

The winner that year was Miss Florida, Ericka Dunlap. Chris Harrison was the host the following year. The Bachelor host returned to the show in 2011 with Good Morning America anchor, Lara Spencer, cohosting with him beginning in 2013.

The Harry Potter author isn't happy with the rumors out there that her next novel will be a romance and she took to Twitter to clear the air, according to the Independent.

Rowling has released three novels in the last few years — The Casual Vacancy in 2011, and The Cuckoo's Calling and The Silkworm, both under the name Robert Galbraith. Rowling had hoped the Robert Galbraith secret would remain a secret, but her law firm leaked the news that she was, indeed, writing the books. After the news leaked, The Cuckoo's Calling became a best seller.

Rowling ended her tweeting by doing what she does best: continuing to write.

The best baby boy names with cute nicknames

$
0
0

Typically parents choose a name they like and then consider possible nicknames later. But how about doing things the other way around? We've rounded up a pool of baby boy names you might overlook — until you see their super cute nicknames, that is.

Baby boy names with the best nicknames

Alfred: The full name sounds a bit stuffy, but Alfie is adorable.
Angus: You don't have to settle for August or Augustus if you have your heart set on the nickname Gus.
Asher or Ashton: Two great ways to get the handsome Ash.
Baxter: Everyone is looking for a long form of Max, but we love Bax as an alternative.
Beckett: Fans use Becks as a nickname for David Beckham, but it works just as well on Beckett.
Benjamin: You probably knew a lot of Bens in high school, but did you know anyone who went by Benji?
Calvin: This presidential throwback gives the suave diminutive Cal. Try Callum if you'd prefer a trendier first name.
Cyrus: This name works great as is, but Cy is short, sweet, and strong.
Dashiell: You won't find a better nickname than Dash for a rambunctious toddler.
David: Like Ben, Daves are everywhere. For your wee newborn boy, try out the winsome Davy.
Dexter: Maybe the TV show serial killer association will fade if you call him Dex?
Ezekiel: The amiable nickname Zeke sells both this and unusual biblical boy name Hezekiah.
Fitzgerald: It's a mouthful, but Fitz sounds equally fetching at every age.
Howard: We can't decide whether Howie or Ward is more charming.
Isaac: We like Ike. (Sorry.)
Jeremy: If you need a long form for Remy, we prefer this traditional baby boy name to Remington.
Julius: Though girls use it, too, we don't think Jules is too feminine for a little boy.
Montgomery: Monty? Come on. Perfection.
Oliver: He will want to use the full name as an adult, but Ollie suits the preschool years so well.
Phillip: Don't see dad name Phil and move on: try out the Dickensian Pip instead.
Thaddeus: We adore this Greek long form of Tad.
Truman: Whether you prefer the president or the author (or the Jim Carrey movie — we don't judge), you can call him Tru for short.
Vincent: Plenty of adult men still go by Vinnie, but we like Vin even more.
William: Surprise people with the enchanting nickname Wim, rather than the tired Will or Billy.

Nicknames aren't for everyone. Do you like names with options, or do you prefer the control of choosing a baby name with no nicknames at all?

Zelda isn't the only celebrity to have their ink designed by the tattoo master. Everyone from Kelly Osbourne to Amy Adams and Cate Blanchett have experienced his artistry for their tattoos.

One additional note Robin's only daughter added to the caption was her continuing struggle with how to handle social media after her dad's death.

She said, "As for this Instagram, I don't know in what capacity I'll continue using it in the future, but I'm leaving it up regardless so that fake accounts hoping to use my name or misuse my family's photos will get no traction. To be clear, this is MY ONLY account. Publicly, I have Twitter, and this. If other people post quotes and photos claiming to be me or my family, please, do not send them personal information or click links, even for charity. They could be utilizing sympathy to scam you. For the record, no one has ever or will ever speak for me but me. Thank you."

Chris Martin and Gwyneth Paltrow are now consciously uncoupled neighbors

The couple known for their infamous "conscious uncoupling" has been writing the book on successful celebrity divorce since they announced their split in March. People reports that the ex-pair headed out to dinner Wednesday night with their two kids, 10-year-old Apple and 8-year-old Moses, in tow. They also met up with another friend and her child at Katsuya Brentwood, their restaurant of choice for a low-key family night out.

According to People, the group dined in a back room and, despite the recent split and the fact that Paltrow and Martin are both dating other people now, it wasn't awkward at all.

"They seemed like a happy family," a fellow diner said of the family.

Low blow! Martha Stewart takes a jab at Gwyneth Paltrow's marriage

Even after the family friend and her child left, Paltrow, Martin and their kids stayed and continued catching up for another 15 minutes, witnesses said.

"They all seemed very happy and were getting along," the diner dished. "Chris kept showing Gwyneth what looked like pictures on his phone and they were smiling."

Since the split in March, Paltrow has been linked to Glee cocreator, Brad Falchuk, while Martin is openly and unapologetically dating Jennifer Lawrence, in a relationship that looks to be gaining steam and becoming more serious all the time.

The "consciously uncoupled" couple also reportedly live near each other (Martin purchased the house across the street from their formal marital abode) and seem to be doing everything they can to maintain normalcy for their kids, which — let's be honest — is how more divorces should go.

There was the time Kanye took his wife, Kim Kardashian, to Italy to buy her custom-made stilettos.

Or the time he rented out the entire AT&T Park in San Francisco for an over-the-top proposal that included fireworks, an orchestra and a custom-made engagement ring.

For Mother's Day, Kanye had a towering wall of roses, hydrangeas and peonies delivered to his beloved's doorstep before she woke up.

And on Valentine's Day, Kanye sent his famous bride-to-be 1,000 roses. Seriously. One thousand of them.

Sorry, guys, Kanye West has the dopest wife, ever

So, what on earth could he do to celebrate Kim's 34th birthday that could top all of the ridiculously awesome gifts he's already come up with?

How about an impromptu island vacation?

A source close to the rapper and reality star told People, "Kanye woke Kim up at 5 a.m. and jetted her off to Hawaii for a day to celebrate her birthday."

And how did Kim react to the surprise? Pretty much exactly the same way anyone would react to waking up to an unexpected vacation in a beautiful tropical locale.

"She thought it was the best surprise ever!" the source dished.

Kim, whose official birthday party will be held in Las Vegas at Tao Nightclub on Friday, was spotted romantically strolling the streets of Maui with her husband on Wednesday. What a perfect way to prepare for the official bash.

Kim Kardashian commands an outrageous fee to endorse products

One important question remains, though: When Kim turns 35 next year, how is Kanye going to manage to top this? Think you know how he can do it? Tell us your ideas for the perfect birthday gift for Mrs. West in the comments below, because it's never too early to start planning for Kim Kardashian's birthday.

Kendra on Top: Are Hank's tears real or is he manipulating her?

After audio leaked online of Hank Baskett's alleged encounter with a transsexual prostitute, Kendra Wilkinson was rumored to be considering leaving him all over again, as you would expect.

But now, the Kendra on Top star is insisting the tapes are no big deal.

"This is [a] straight setup and if anybody's listening to this and thinking, 'Oh, he's guilty,' who's the one guilty? The one that's setting up this blackmail," she said in an interview with E! News. "That's the one who should be in jail right now."

Wilkinson admitted she listened to the tapes. But when she did, she had the opposite reaction we all expected and said they actually made her chill out about what seemed like an impending divorce.

Kendra Wilkinson rethinks divorce after incriminating audio clip

"I actually didn't even care. It was nothing," she said. "It didn't even do anything. It didn't make anything worse. It was just recycled crap. It was premeditated. I feel like celebrities right now have a big target on their heads and blackmail is to follow."

But Wilkinson continued to say her reaction doesn't necessarily mean that divorce is off the table.

"I'm not making a rash decision, divorcing or staying with him," she said. "I'm trying to let things happen naturally, let things play out a little longer."

It has seemed for months now like it's just a matter of time before Wilkinson signs the papers. Apparently, she came close, but then changed her mind.

"I found myself in a position where it came down to literally a signature for the divorce to go through and something held me back," she confessed. "Something a bit more powerful pulled me away from doing that and the power I believe is my heart."

She even said that these days, she's "more on Hank's team."

Where the hell's Hank? Kendra's man still MIA on Kendra on Top

What do you think of this weird situation? Is Kendra totally in denial? Or is she right to try to stick it out with her husband? Tell us your take in the comments.

Disney takes legal action against Deadmau5's trademark ears

Deadmau5, whose real name is Joel Thomas Zimmerman, enjoys success as one of the biggest artists in the EDM genre, and he is clearly not a fan of fellow artist Paris Hilton — who happens to make up to $1 million for each gig she plays at, according to the New York Post's Page Six. Not bad for a night's work, right?

The "Raise Your Weapon" hit maker took to his blog to dis Hilton in a big way on Friday.

Taken as written from his blog, he began his rant with, "So Paris makes a billion dollars playing a CD at a club. thats great. how is this news again?

5 Reasons Paris Hilton's new video is awesomely bad

"Look, as much as shes probably loathed by the EDM world… and me, you can't possibly hold it against her for involvement in the electronic music scene. I remember back when, at the cosmo in vegas, she attended, and i guess i was accommodating (as far as that usually goes for me) i could see she was having a fun time, liked the music, and just wanted to be a part of it all… so of course, why not… even i couldn't hate on that."

But he has a lot of other stuff that he can hate on, apparently.

"But, let's get real here for a second…There's being involved / enthusiastic about something… and then there's just being a straight up ass."

Paris Hilton gets asked on a date by a homeless man

He then went on to compare Hilton's DJ skills to that of an amateur race-car driver and suggested that instead of racing with the big boys, she go back and try racing karts instead.

"so paris, thank you… were actually not even mad youre enthusiatic about electronic music… we love that youre a part of our party. But please, get the f*** back in your go kart. No need to prove that you found someone stupid enough to consider paying you a million dollars for something the world knows you arent… because here's what you actually are to everyone who knows better.. ticket sales. nothing more."

So how does Miss Hilton feel about the latest dis? She's too busy living life, apparently.

Hilton took to Twitter earlier today to share her good news with her music fans.

Kim Kardashian posted this picture of her 1-year-old daughter North West as she had fun at the pumpkin patch. Most kids wear jeans and a T-shirt to the pumpkin patch; this celebrity tot was dressed to the nines in black leather pants, a blue cape with gold fringe and a blue bandanna.

"Kisses," Kim captioned the photo.

Beverly Johnson on overcoming racism in Hollywood

Beverly Johnson on how Down syndrome affects children of color differently

In August of 1974, when Beverly Johnson appeared on the cover of Vogue, the fresh-faced model wasn't aware she was making history.

"Of course it's every model's dream to be on the cover of Vogue magazine," she said, "so basically it was just kind of reaching that pinnacle very early in my career that was a defining moment for me."

She didn't realize it was also a defining moment for the country until journalists began pointing out how impactful her appearance on the cover was.

"When I realized that I was the first woman of color on the cover, it just made that accomplishment that much more real. I realized at that moment — I was 21 or 22 years old — that this was going to be a huge responsibility, and that it was something that I was going to carry for the rest of my life," she said.

That realization, says the supermodel, propelled her to explore her heritage. "It put me on the journey of self-discovery... of who I am, what my African roots are, what this whole thing is about racism and discrimination."

Although Johnson had been exposed to racism at an early age, she was admittedly too young and naïve to truly understand the implications of those experiences at the time.

Jesse Williams discusses racism and Ferguson (VIDEO)

"I lived a very sheltered life," she shared. "Of course, I'd been called the n-word riding my bicycle through the wrong neighborhood, but I really wasn't that aware of just the centuries of struggle that my ancestors had."

Still, Johnson asserts, it doesn't offend her when young stars like Raven-Symoné speak about eschewing the label African American, saying, "I think it's freedom of speech. I think it's her opinion of herself and who she wants to be."

Johnson also empathizes with Raven-Symoné in a way, as she knows firsthand how a seemingly simple statement with no agenda can be blown out of proportion.

"I just remember doing this radio show, and they immediately said, 'Well, how does it feel to be the top black model?' And I said, 'Excuse me, I'm really the top model in the nation!'" she said, laughing.

"You know, because I was on the cover of Glamour, Vogue, Italian Vogue. And after that, it was this big hoopla. So I understand how the things that you can say can be taken out of context and that she's merely speaking what she feels — that she wants to be labeled a human being," said Johnson.

Raven-Symoné doesn't want to be labeled — and I agree

But with there still being such a disparity between African American talent in the spotlight in the '70s and '80s and now, how do we bridge the gap?

According to Johnson, we already are.

"You bridge it one interview at a time, one person at a time," she offered. "What's wonderful about today is that we're seeing and hearing these conversations about race, where only a few years ago it was taboo."

The path to progress, she believes, is paved with acceptance and honesty. "I think that we're a courageous nation," she said, "and we're looking at [racism] head on and going, 'No, this does exist. Now what are we going to do about it?'"
