This brilliant new cooking show creates recipes for your fave restaurant chains

I live and die by reality cooking competitions, but the most disappointing aspect of these shows is that, at the end of the day, you're not able to taste any of the food the contestants produce. Sad face!

Fortunately TNT's new show On the Menu solves this problem.

On the Menu

On the Menu

Hosted by the ever-optimistic Ty Pennington, formerly of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and Food Network alumnus Emeril Lagasse, the show has a unique premise: The winning dish will be available in restaurants nationwide the day after the episode airs. Happy face!

Seriously, how has no one thought of this before? Finally America will be able to taste the food created by its favorite cheftestants. In each episode, the chefs will work closely with a national chain restaurant. According to the Hollywood Reporter, the initial elimination round will have the chefs trying to mimic the flavors of the participating restaurant's signature dish, while later on they must create their own dish that will fit in with that restaurant's menu.

TNT's website lists which restaurant they will be competing for each episode. Emeril's own restaurant will be featured on Episode 5, and others include The Cheesecake Factory, Outback Steakhouse and Buca di Beppo.

To celebrate the series premiere, Ty and Emeril hosted an event in Times Square yesterday, where they successfully broke the Guinness World Record for World's Tallest Pancake Stack.

Tune in tonight at 8 p.m. EST to see the contestants compete for a spot on the Chili's menu, then head there tomorrow to taste the winning dish for yourself, if you're so inclined.

RHONJ stars are getting into legal trouble left and right

Jacqueline and Chris Laurita are dealing with an $8 million bankruptcy lawsuit that they are trying to keep quiet. However, opposing lawyers in the case think they have no right to seal the court documents.

We hope RHONJ's Teresa Giudice looks good in orange

In legal papers obtained by RadarOnline, they state, "The Lauritas make no arguments and assert no facts consistent with the heightened standard required for sealing documents."

The Lauritas are also accused of lavishly spending money even though they were broke. They were allegedly trying to project an upscale image on the Bravo TV reality show.

The plaintiff's lawyer think it is ridiculous that the reality stars are trying to make anything private.

They stated, "It is the Lauritas who chose to maintain their 'public personas' in an extremely open fashion, by participating in a 'reality' television show that is filmed inside their home and highlights their material goods and spending habits. It lacks credibility to now contend that they are genuinely concerned about their privacy for actions taken during the very period they were maintaining their public personas for profit."

RHONJ's Joe Giudice was just handed an unbelievable sentence

The couple wants to keep the details of their bankruptcy filing private because there is media interest to see how the family is spending their money. They want to keep those items as private as possible.

However, the creditors' lawyers are putting up a very strong case against them. They concluded in the court documents, "The most that they can assert is a vague and hollow argument that the information could be 'a road map' for parties seeking to harm the Lauritas because of their public personas."

Let's hope this ruling ends better for the Lauritas than it did for the Giudices.

Kendra Wilkinson

She continued her tweet writing, "I've been focusing on being the best me I can be, for myself and for my babies. While some moments are sacred, fact is… I've lived my life in front of cameras for the last 10 years, so I chose to allow cameras to tell even the hard stories. I don't think it's fair or truthful to only show the good and not the bad. I don't have all the answers, but like you, I'm a mother, a wife, a daughter and a woman, and struggles are a part of life and I am not afraid to admit that my life is not perfect. Thank you for the love… I've missed you all!"

Even though she has yet to share a picture of baby Alijah, she has been busy making the media rounds to promote her reality show, Kendra on Top. The new mom, who gave birth just four months ago, looks fabulous.

Lindsay Lohan proves she's no Laurence Olivier in Mamet play

According to the New York Daily News, the actress is being fed lines from a production assistant in the wings. A source told the periodical that Lohan has reportedly struggled with her lines in the show, which was also evident during last week's preview.

Lindsay Lohan tough enough to handle famous dead people

The story is a black comedy about the cruel side of the movie industry, and it follows two Hollywood producers looking for their big break. The Freaky Friday star tackles the role of Karen, who is a secretary to one of the producers.

Even though Lohan is trying something new, some of the reviews of the show are also less than kind to the troubled starlet.

Mark Shenton from The Stage wrote that Lohan was "out of her league" in the David Mamet play. He wrote, "Whether it is down to nervousness or a lack of preparation, the producers still need to ask if it is appropriate to have exposed her so publicly in this way, or audiences to it."

Quentin Letts of the Mail Online called Lohan's casting "a travesty of art." He also chided, "Acting on the West End is no joke… the theatre is not just about money. It should be about truth, and truth was absent last night."

The Guardian's Michael Billington was a bit kinder to Lohan, stating, "Aside from a single prompt, she holds the stage with ease and doesn't let the side down."

The show runs through Nov. 29 and co-stars Nigel Lindsay and The West Wing's Richard Schiff.

Don't expect kids to behave on planes without their iPads

Mother confronted by security

Mother confronted by security

Like on most trips across the sky, a mom was entertaining her two kids by letting them watch kid movies during the flight. However, the 2-year-old wouldn't wear headphones, so fellow flyers could possibly hear what she was watching. When surrounding passengers just couldn't take the children's good behavior any longer, someone complained, and the mother was asked to turn off the movie on the iPad. The video shows only the tail end of the ordeal, when the mom and her two kids are confronted by seven security officers about the incident on the plane, but I think the airline was in the wrong.

Everyone I've read covering this incident is bashing the woman for standing up for her kids' right to have a pleasant flight. And hey, she may have become defensive when greeted by airport security as she disembarked her flight, but the real issue is that we have become a society so intolerant of kids and families with kids. You want to take your family out for pizza instead of getting it delivered? Sorry, the one other couple in the whole place will judge you for bringing your kids. Keeping your kid entertained by letting him say, "Bye bye plane," like a mom did on a flight back in 2007? Be prepared to get booted off your flight.

Perhaps a better solution for this mom would have been to let her kid cry and wail the rest of the flight. Oh wait, they would have shamed her for that too. It's too bad there is so little support for this mom, who was obviously stressed out about flying solo with two kids. But the sad truth is that the people giving her so much flak probably don't have kids of their own.

It's disheartening, but it's not too late. When you see a mom having a hard time getting her screaming kid into the car at a store parking lot, tell her to hang in there. Flying across country and sitting near a child who doesn't understand why he has to put on a seat belt and turn off his movie? Try to help distract the kiddo. As a mom who has flown with two very young kids — albeit thankfully not solo — I applaud her efforts to keep her kids happy so the rest of the plane won't have to sit through a flight with an unhappy child. This mom has the right to be ticked when asked to turn off her kid's iPad on the flight. Even if I didn't have kids, I'd take the sounds of Bubble Guppies over the sounds of a wailing child, hands down.

Stop talking about my baby bump like it's not attached to my body

$

0

(Side note: pregnant women do not need special parking spots, really. You know who does? New moms. The baby is relatively easy to carry as long as it’s tucked in your abdomen but add colic, a car seat, a diaper bag and older siblings and you need valet parking just to go to the grocery store. Seriously.)

But the visible baby bump has one serious downside: everyone feels they have a right to comment on it -- and even worse no one can agree on it. For example, just last week preggo Kate Middleton was called out by a prominent feminist for being too thin and now this week a woman has penned an Op-Ed in defense of pregnant women who work really hard to stay skinny. The former article detailed all the ways that Kate is being a bad woman by being a skinny baby baker while the latter went through the author's regimen for staying skinny through her pregnancy and her derision for anyone who lets themselves gain weight.

Of course Kate has not commented on either story, probably because she's too busy barfing her guts out while also trying to chase a toddler. (FYI: Kate has hyperemesis gravidarium, a medical condition where she throws up so much during pregnancy that she has to have IVs, poor thing. So I doubt she even remotely cares what her body looks like right now.) So since she is incapacitated, I'll get angry on her behalf! Seriously, just reading both articles made me want to throw a What to Expect When You're Expecting book at their heads.

All the furor reminded me of a conversation that happened when I was about halfway through my last pregnancy. Now, I'm not the type to mind an affectionate pat on my tummy, even from a stranger, or a “look at you!” but this was too much even for me:

Lady #1: Oh, look at your tummy! It’s HUGE! I can’t believe how big you’ve gotten! And almost overnight too!

Lady #2: No, no, she’s not huge – she’s itty bitty. I can barely see her little bump!

Lady #1: Are you serious? Look at her! If I didn't know better, I'd think she was having twins!

Lady #2: What? She’s tiny! I was twice as big as she was when I was pregnant.

Lady #1: Not me! I wore my regular jeans right up until delivery – just had to ride ‘em low.

They had this conversation in front of me. The irony is that I was exactly normal for 20 weeks along. My fundus – that’s the supercool name for the top of your uterus -- measured right on for the baby’s gestation. So I wasn't big or small; I was just a normal pregnant girl. The problem is that no one knows what those look like anymore.

Each woman's baby bump will look different, just like each child is different. There are so many factors involved in how big your stomach gets and I'm not sure that "willpower" even makes the top ten. How many pregnancies you've had, how much amniotic fluid is in there, how big the baby is, how much you weighed when you started, if you had to use fertility meds, what your genetics are like, if you have any medical complications and a host of other things can inflate or deflate your tummy like a circus balloon.

And the worst part is that no one knows that better than the pregnant woman does. There's already so much pressure on women to look a certain way and weigh a certain amount but pregnancy amplifies that by a hundred. Now if you're too skinny you're starving the baby but if you're too fat then you're condemning them to a life of obesity. There's no middle ground where people say, "Hey, you're doing a great job making that whole entire human being from scratch! Nice work, momma!" What we all need to remember is that pregnancy is not a competition and whatever you need to do to have a healthy kiddo is worth it.

Bill Murray's presence was the only wedding gift George Clooney got

Bill Murray's life advice might be a little too optimistic

Murray was fortunate enough to be part of the wedding of the decade, and now he's leaking the details on the gifts that Amal Alamuddin and George Clooney received on their big day. Turns out the hilarious actor doesn't have much to say, for once, because there weren't any gifts to speak of.

Murray revealed that he showed up empty-handed, but he was only doing what he was told. "You don't buy them anything," Murray told TMZ when asked what one would buy for such a spectacular couple. "No. You don't buy them anything. When you're asked not to bring anything and you're asked to leave, you know, you're asked not to bring anything."

We guess that when you're an A-List actor and an über-polished human rights lawyer, there's really no need to register at Crate & Barrel. It's a class act on the part of the Clooneys to politely decline gifts at their nuptials.

While Murray admits he didn't get Alamuddin and Clooney a gift, he did let his bodily fluids fly at the wedding — tears, that is. "Well, it wasn't as momentous. I didn't get married, but it was a wonderful time," he said of how the wedding was for him. When asked if he cried at the ceremony, Murray replied, "I got moist. I'll get moist on ya. I will."

The What About Bob actor has proven time and time again that he's the most epic party guest ever, even when he shows up uninvited. In May, Murray crashed a bachelor party full of strangers and stood up for a speech in which he imparted to the revelers sage wisdom about life and commitment. Then, in September, Murray busted a move to "Turn Down For What" at the birthday party of a man in a rural suburb of Charleston, South Carolina.

All 24 times Damon was mentioned in the Vampire Diaries season premiere (VIDEO)

Hiss all you want: Caroline & Klaus' love is eternal

Sure, he's technically gone, but he's long from forgotten, especially with all those crazy Elena (Nina Dobrev) hallucinations. The show is not letting the handsome vampire slip from our minds for even a moment. They mentioned him 24 times on last night's Season 6 premiere episode!

We think the best Damon (Ian Somerhalder) mention moment happened when Elena was chowing down on that poor girl's neck while her subconscious version of her dead boyfriend tried to tell her she was taking things too far. As if that girl wasn't already freaked out enough that she was being bit, it had to be super weird that the biting creature was also talking to herself.

Fantasy gets another year! The CW announces early renewals

The Vampire Diaries Season 6 premiere

While Damon is "dead"... for now... we don't think it will stick for long. Our theory is that because Bonnie was the link, she was transported to an alternate reality when the Other Side started to cave. Because she and Damon were holding hands, he went with her. We're pretty sure that hand-holding thing has some significance other than just Damon and Bonnie connecting in a way other than through anger.

The Originals' Joseph Morgan interview: Good news for Klaroline fans

Though we're almost positive Damon and Bonnie will return to the land of the living, things are going to be far from easy — mostly because of Elena and her idiotic not-so-brilliant idea to forget Damon. We get it, she doesn't really know he's gone, but she should have held out for just a little bit longer. It's like one word from Stefan (Paul Wesley), and she loses all hope. She hasn't even tried to find clues to bring him back herself because she's been too busy hallucinating.

At least we'll get to see them both fall in love with one another all over again. Maybe it's the second chance to get things right that they both need.

When do you think Damon will return to The Vampire Diaries? Will he be able to get Elena to fall in love with him again?

Awesome mom opts for sister wives and no husband in sight

Their raucous house in Seattle, Washington, is rich with the voices of girls and women. There is mom, Brooke, and her two young daughters Ava and Rachel. There is aunt Danielle, who is in the midst of a divorce and has helped raised the children from birth. And there is friend Victoria, who does what she can to hold together the organized chaos, when she's not studying to be a therapist or working as a nanny.

People sometimes balk at their arrangements, and claim they're not giving enough structure and boundaries to the kids. To that, Victoria scoffs, "I swear, these children certainly have a better understanding of relationships, community and love than I ever did as a kid. In an ideal world, our home would have a stronger male presence, but I'm so proud to be a part of this family."

The adult women jokingly call themselves a "virgin partnership," meaning that they glue their home together with platonic love and a commitment to make their family work. And I have to say that as a single mom who often feels the crushing responsibility of managing on my own, a virgin partnership sounds pretty amazing. The house has rules that are hard and fast, and each woman and child is given freedom to pursue their interests wholeheartedly. "Danielle is an artist, Brooke is a mom of two young kids and I'm in grad school," Victoria explained. "There's no way we could live the lives we want — with our limited incomes — without working together towards a common cause."

So, what is their common cause? Ultimately, it's providing stability and love to two little girls who wouldn't have financial or relational stability without each woman's influence. "Each day of the week is assigned a POP — or a "parent on point" — so the girls know who is in charge and responsible for fun, discipline, dinner and bedtime," Victoria said. "The girls know exactly what to expect. If we ever think that they need more masculine fun than we can provide, we schedule group play dates with our guy friends or Danielle's ex-husband."

Quirky? Sure. But this kind of arrangement, complete with silliness, community and shared responsibility, sounds like a breath of fresh air to the dreary world of single parenthood. Now, excuse me while I go find a virgin partner.

Amanda Bynes takes her scary behavior to the East Coast

Amanda Bynes' parents have no control over wild child

Photos of the actress walking around New York City alone have hit the internet. In the pictures, Bynes has a large Band-Aid under her eye, looks disheveled, tired and slack-jawed and appears to be chain-smoking Camel Lights.

Bynes was spotted by witnesses at a restaurant in LAX before jetting off to New York, and her behavior there can best be described as troubling.

"She sat down at a booth, which is normally reserved for groups. They let her stay at the booth because she was Amanda Bynes and they knew her history," a person present at the restaurant told E! "She asked for extra napkins before she even placed an order. Amanda was at the table by herself with all her makeup spread out across the table. She was talking to herself and putting on a ton of makeup. She would apply some, look in her compact and make weird pouty faces and then say to herself, 'OK, that looks fine.'"

According to the eyewitness, Amanda was only at the restaurant for 20 minutes before she took off. "She had a really weird gait to her," the source added. "She was power-walking with a posture like a pregnant woman. It was bizarre."

For a while, the world was convinced that Bynes was on the up-and-up. After displaying behavior that showed she was clearly mentally unfit and some serious legal troubles throughout 2012 and 2013, Bynes went through rehab and was released to her parents and put in a conservatorship. She announced that she was signing up for fashion school, and in April, she tweeted photos of herself looking happy and healthy while vacationing with her family in Mexico.

Then Bynes was picked up for DUI in Los Angeles this week, and reports trickled through that she had been kicked out of school for bad behavior. It also appears that she's taken her maniacal rantings back to Twitter under the username @PersianLa27. If the account is in fact Bynes, it appears she is keeping up on current events.

Derek Jeter retiring: Nike tips their hat to him in 90-second ad

Derek Jeter played his last game for the New York Yankees and retired from professional baseball last weekend, so maybe he's just having a retirement party. Then again, maybe he's not.

TMZ reports the MLB star is planning one heck of a bash. He's booked Long Island's historic Oheka Castle, where scenes from the 1941 classic film Citizen Kane were filmed. He's also booked some high-end vendors, according to TMZ, who will be throwing a "Derek Jeter event." What might that event be?

ESPN's Skip Bayless: Aging Derek Jeter juices

Sources are split, TMZ reports. Some say it's just your average giant retirement party for one of the biggest baseball stars alive. Others say it's a surprise wedding.

Jeter has been dating swimsuit model and St. Thomas native Hannah Davis for several years. The two haven't publicly announced an engagement — or any other recent relationship developments, for that matter — but they've historically been pretty private about all aspects of their relationship.

And, reportedly, Davis was spotted out on a Starbucks run about this time last year wearing what looked like a diamond engagement ring, even though keeping that on the down-low for an entire year would be quite the feat.

According to People, Jeter's reps and reps for the venue didn't return requests for comment, while a spokesperson for Davis declined to comment on the possibility of upcoming nuptials.

Romantic redux for Derek Jeter and Minka Kelly?

The party that may or may not be a wedding is set to go down this weekend, so we're bound to find out the truth soon enough.

Time to place your bets. Is Derek Jeter's upcoming bash just a retirement celebration? Or are there wedding bells in Jeter's very near future? Tell us your take in the comments.

Ozzy Osbourne's birthday gift is guaranteed to be one-of-a-kind

Hospitalized Kelly Osbourne remembers Joan Rivers

But Ozzy Osbourne's daughter, Kelly Osbourne, has this on lock. She knows exactly what she's getting her dad for his birthday — and hers — and, while we wish we weren't ruining the surprise, it's WAY too weird not to share.

Kelly revealed on social media that, for a joint birthday present for her 30th and her dad's 66th, coming up in December, she's having her wisdom teeth, which she had removed eight years ago and has apparently been holding onto just in case she thought of some creepy way to use them, made into a one-of-a-kind keepsake for her and her dad to share. It's like friendship necklaces, but much, much weirder.

“I had my wisdom teeth pulled out in 2006 and for my 30th @whitetrashcharmsjewelry is dipping them in gold! One is for me & one is for my dad! #IAmAnOsbourneAfterAll,” the singer-turned-fashion designer captioned an Instagram snap of, yes, her two wisdom teeth in a box.

The jewelry company that will be gold-plating the molars regrammed the photo, captioning it, “Regram …22K gold teeth to be ! for @kellyosbourne & @ozzyosbourne by #whitetrsshcharms #happybirthday kelly!”

No word yet on what kind of jewelry will hold the gold-plated teeth — necklaces? earrings? — but if Kelly follows in other stars' footsteps, the finished charm will hang around her dad's neck, à la Ryan Reynolds, who received a gold-plated tooth from then-girlfriend Scarlett Johannson in 2007. Because once obviously wasn't enough for this creepy keepsake.

Google mans up in response to celeb nude hack

5 Questions inspired by the celebrity nude photo leak

The images were posted without the permission of the more than 100 celebs involved in the scandal, which is one of the largest photo hacks on record. Celebrities affected include Jennifer Lawrence, Kate Upton, Amber Heard, Rihanna and Cara Delevingne.

Singer threatened to sue the web giant for $100 million on behalf of multiple female clients. The claim says that Google stood to profit greatly from the availability of these images and calls out the company for not taking action sooner.

Celebrity nude photos we really don't want to see

A statement from Google said it deleted the photos "within hours" of requests being made and has "closed hundreds of accounts."

While it's good Google is removing the images and shutting down the hundreds of associated accounts, it took multiple requests and the threat of legal action to get it to move on the decision. Google has been great in the past about respecting the privacy of its members. That shouldn't have changed just because these people happen to be in the spotlight. But we're glad the images are finally being made unavailable, as this scandal represents a disgusting sexual violation in our book.

Celebrity nudity is the new norm: Good naked vs. bad naked

In a letter to senior staff at Google, according to the New York Post, Singer said, "Google knows the images are hacked stolen property, private and confidential photos and video unlawfully obtained and posted by pervert predators who are violating the victims' privacy rights... Yet Google has taken little or no action to stop these outrageous violations."

This doesn't mean the images are gone for good, unfortunately. Who knows how many people have them saved to a hard drive somewhere. But it is, at least, a really positive step toward making sure the photos aren't further distributed.

No word yet whether Singer and his clients will drop their threat of legal action now that Google is responding favorably and seems to be willing to work with Singer and his clients.

Do you think the celebrities should seek compensation for Google's lack of swift action in the scandal?

PHOTO: James Franco and Seth Rogen are naked and afraid… together

James Franco and Seth Rogen have had one of Hollywood's — and the world's — hottest bromances for 15 years. Now, it seems, there are officially no more secrets between the two.

A pair of saucy Instagram photos posted to Franco's account showed him and Rogen spoofing the Discovery Channel's popular reality show, Naked and Afraid. The first, captioned, "See if me and seth can make it, NAKED and AFRAID!!!! Wtf?! You'll see........" shows the two of them in the back of a pickup truck, under a tarp and, yes, definitely naked, though some strategically placed burlap keeps their innocence intact.

In the second photo, they're looking totes adorbs in matching outfits: necklaces made with large wooden beads, burlap messenger bags and... oh. That's it. That's the standard uniform for contestants on Naked and Afraid, who are dropped in the wilderness and told to survive without food, water or clothes.

The second snap is captioned, "Boom boom, NAKED and Afraid. Me and Seth, in the bush, naked, together. For reals."

Is it actually for reals? Maybe Franco and Rogen are contestants on Naked and Afraid this season. Maybe they're teasing an upcoming movie. Maybe they're heading into the wilderness in search of picturesque backdrops for a nude portrait sesh. Or maybe they're just headed on a bro-cation to escape the hustle of Hollywood life. We may never know.

How the Kendra On Top premiere was real, relatable and so devastating

First impressions

When news broke back in July that Baskett had allegedly cheated on Wilkinson with a transsexual model, I was shocked. I had legitimately thought they were one of those reality TV couples who could actually make it.

Kendra Wilkinson finally tells us the truth about the cheating scandal

But then, in the wake of the allegations about Baskett, rumors began to surface that the entire affair was just a grab at ratings. Skeptics felt such claims were bolstered further when the teaser trailer for the third season of Kendra On Top began airing, playing up the scandal.

Seriously, though... why would anyone make up something like that? Why would anyone subject their family to such scrutiny? I was interested to see if tonight's premiere seemed sensationalized at all.

The episode starts with Wilkinson's best friend, Jessica Hall, arriving at Wilkinson's house to console her distraught friend. And, y'all, she really needed consoling.

Wilkinson is bawling — literally collapsing in Hall's arms — and I get it. You can't fake that kind or raw emotion. Believe me, I've been there.

Once Wilkinson regains some of her composure, she laments to Hall that she thought her life was picture-perfect. When Hall asks (like most girlfriends would) if she ever suspected anything, Wilkinson admits she's never been the type of girl to keep tabs on her man.

Something doesn't add up

This is an interesting point, because it seems as though Baskett had a lot of freedom in their relationship. Perhaps too much? We asked dating and relationship expert Andrea Syrtash to weigh in.

"Too much freedom doesn't cause someone to cheat," she said. "The bottom line is that if someone will cheat, he will cheat whether or not you are monitoring him. Freedom isn't the issue here — communication is. In a healthy relationship, you should have separate interests, but not separate lives. It's not nosy to check in about each other's days and schedules."

Fair enough, right? But regardless of whether Wilkinson checked in with Baskett enough, I can see how she would have been blindsided — especially when the episode flashes back to five weeks before.

The couple was preparing for baby Alijah's arrival, and they seemed so in love. When Wilkinson jokes about Baskett not being over her after two kids and six years together, he says, "Babe, we could be together 20 years and I still wouldn't be over you."

Ouch. Insert knife into heart here. Of course Wilkinson is having a hard time wrapping her head around how Baskett could do this and what she should do!

"It's tough for Kendra to reconcile this situation since she was betrayed by the person she trusted the most. This isn't a small thing, but it doesn't mean their whole relationship was a farce," Syrtash said. "Hank wasn't necessarily lying to Kendra. He can love her deeply and have found a way to compartmentalize his affair."

Real or contrived?

Eesh... tough stuff. It seems to me that Wilkinson is genuinely sorting through some heavy emotions on air, but I can see how detractors might claim it seems scripted — if they are only basing their judgment off of her "to the camera" confessionals.

So, we asked the show's executive producer: How much time passes between what we see being filmed and Wilkinson explaining those things to the camera?

"We try to do interviews within a day or two of filming a scene. Often when we are editing, we have to go back and ask Kendra to explain what was going through her mind, and that might be two to three weeks out. The interviews in the premiere of Kendra On Top were done within a week of Jessica arriving at Kendra's home."

Is the Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett scandal fake or not?

Doesn't it make sense then that Wilkinson would seem at least a bit scripted in those moments? She'd had time to step back and reflect for a hot minute.

Throughout the episode, Wilkinson wonders aloud if she was somehow at fault. "Was he not attracted to me because I was pregnant? What did I do wrong?" she asked.

This kind of response is not uncommon, Syrtash says, but it can be unhealthy. Also, she points out, people rarely cheat because they aren't physically attracted to their partner.

"More commonly, people cheat because they are looking for attention or approval from someone else or because they crave variety," Syrtash explained. "In Hank's case, he may have craved this particular sexual experience that no woman, not even Kendra, could've given him."

As for the debate over her wedding rings — Wilkinson tells Hall that she flushed them down the toilet, but skeptics say that's doubtful — only Wilkinson and Baskett know what really went down.

"There were only two people present when Kendra flushed her wedding rings down the toilet: Kendra and Hank," said the executive producer. "Hank begged Kendra not to do it, but there was no stopping Kendra from doing what she did. Our production team learned about the fate of the rings after it happened. Our cameras were not there."

Infer what you will from that.

The bottom line

For the most part, the premiere does what I think Wilkinson is hoping it would — paint a picture of a family in the throes of a crisis. They may be a celebrity couple, but they're still a real couple, and they're trying to make sense of a situation that anyone would struggle to understand.

Like any good parents would do, they try to shield their kids from the situation as much as they can — a move parenting expert Vera Sweeney says is spot-on.

"Children should never be involved in adult affairs," she told us. "Their minds are too young to be able to process these types of issues. Little Hank should never be made aware of parental disputes. I think it was the right decision to keep him in the dark about the reality of the situation. Let children be children."

Kendra Wilkinson says Hank's cheating was like getting shot

As the episode ends, an emotional Wilkinson spills a bottle of breastmilk (breastfeeding moms will feel her pain) and is visibly overwhelmed when the phone starts ringing off the hook, waking up the baby, as she struggles to pump a replacement.

This, I thought, is a mother. A wife. A woman going through what will likely be the darkest days in her marriage. So I applaud Wilkinson for being brave enough to let us in.

When cheating scandals occur in celebrity marriages, we only ever get to see the end result. For once, we're getting to see a family in the thick of it, just trying to piece themselves back together.

And I, for one, think that's pretty commendable.

Don't miss next week's episode! Kendra On Top airs Fridays at 10/9c, and we'll be back with another review for you. Until then, let us know your thoughts on this week's episode in the comments.

Jamie Dornan dishes on his luck with the ladies

Has Dakota Johnson found her own Mr. Grey?

In fact, he pretty much spills in an interview with British Vogue that he was the opposite of Christian Grey. "I'm very shy," the model-turned-actor admitted. "I'm not saying that was the only reason I didn't do well with them, but I just didn't."

Despite modeling for huge brands at the beginning of his career, including Dior and Calvin Klein, Dornan admitted he never saw himself as looking different from anyone else.

"I've got a lot of s*** together, finally, by age 32," Dornan confessed. "I'm glad I have that all in place when whatever happens, happens."

Jamie Dornan and his wife welcome a new baby

Dornan married Amelia Warner last year, and they now have a daughter who is almost 1.

"I love fatherhood," Dorner said during the interview. "These last couple of years have been quite something. But we're enjoying it."

Dornan calls his wife "dream stuff," and he doesn't seemed fazed by all the attention he's been getting with his upcoming role in the sexy film Fifty Shades of Grey. Dornan is playing the title character Christian Grey, notorious billionaire, who has a thing for bondage in his special Red Room of Pain.

Charlie Hunnam still regrets quitting Fifty Shades of Grey

Dornan himself is more focused on being a family man than looking good.

He reflected on his modeling days, saying, "I'm not ungrateful. I enjoy working with certain photographers, and having a bit of [fun] and catching up, but the actual thing of having to stand looking all moody and looking off in the distance and 'Let's just do a couple with a finger round your mouth...' I'd rather be playing football."

Though he's definitely active in Fifty Shades of Grey, it's a different sport than a ball game.

Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters this Valentine's Day.

Ellen Pompeo's nanny does more than look after the kids

Mommy tweets: Ellen Pompeo, Kendra Wilkinson, Kelly Clarkson, Kelly Ripa

OK, maybe not. But Pompeo's nanny did just that last week when a coyote jumped the fence onto the Grey's Anatomy actress's property and went after her poodle, Lizzie.

Pompeo appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! Thursday and told the story of Lizzie's harrowing ordeal and the family nanny's act of extreme bravery.

"A coyote jumped my wall at my house... six foot wall around the whole property, middle of the day... There's a good chance that the coyote jumped on top of a car roof and then over (the wall)," Pompeo said. "We had a house full of people and he just jumped over the wall and hid in the bushes, so no one really saw the coyote... and then the next you know my nanny looked out and saw the coyote chasing the dog across the yard, and by the time she could get out there the coyote had the dog in its mouth."

Pompeo said she wasn't home when it happened. Good thing the Pompeo family nanny was ready for action.

Pompeo continued, "I had run to the store, I wasn't there... so she (the nanny) just started screaming... My husband said, 'I thought somebody was, like, getting butchered to death.' The coyote dropped the dog and jumped back over the fence."

Little Lizzie survived the attack but had six puncture wounds from the coyote's teeth, Pompeo said. It was lucky she was the one the coyote went after, instead of one of Pompeo's two other, smaller pooches.

Ellen Pompeo may be quitting acting after Grey's Anatomy

"Lizzie is the biggest of the three, thank God, because the other two would not have survived these injuries... The other two dogs are literally five pounds each. They're tiny tiny toy poodles," Pompeo said. "(Pompeo's husband) Chris (Ivery), earlier in the day, had come home and forgotten to shut his car door... and (one of the dogs) Tino ran in the car and hid in the back seat on the floor of the car. He's so smart."
