"My beloved cast. My family," King captioned the photo. "I love you all in ways greater than I could ever express. Everyday each one of you inspires me and brings magic to my life with every action, cut and in between."

Bilson, who is expecting her first child with her longtime boyfriend Hayden Christensen, recently celebrated her baby shower with King and other celebrity friends including Natalie Portman. "Instead of gifts, everyone brought a birth bead. Each person gave her a piece of advice and a blessing along with the bead," a source told Us Weekly. "She will use the beads for strength during labor."

The OC alum is expecting a baby girl and is due within the next few weeks.

The singer is expecting her second child with her husband, Swizz Beatz, in December. They are already parents to 3-year-old Egypt.

"As I prepare to give birth to my new child, I can't help but think what world I'm bringing the baby into," she said in a speech at the UN Foundation's Social Good Summit. "We see the state of the world today and we can all feel the frustration and the desire to do something to make it better."

Snooki doesn't have much longer until her second child arrives. The Jersey Shore star showed off her third trimester baby bump in a belted maxi dress on her Instagram page.

"Good news!" she tweeted. "I just went to my doctor and I'm officially starting to dilate," she wrote on September 16.

Snooki is still tweeting today, so she hasn't gone into labor just yet — but stay tuned.

She and her fiancé Jionni LaValle are already parents to a son named Lorenzo. As far as baby names go, Snooki has a specific type in mind. "I've been Googling like a nut for unique Italian names," she said.

Step 1:

step1-balm

You'll want to make sure your lips are well-moisturized, so apply your favorite lip balm first.

Step 2:

step2-conceal

Create a blank canvas by using a concealer pencil to trace over the lips and lip line.

Step 3:

step3-fill

Now, we're ready to start building up the lip shape. Using a rosy-nude toned lip liner, begin outlining just outside your natural lip line. Follow your lips' natural peaks but take the line just above.

Step 4:

step4-fill

Using the same lip liner, fill in the entire lip.

Step 5:

step5-lipstick

Using a rosy-mauve matte lip color, fill in your entire mouth.

Step 6:

step6-brush

Use a lip brush to blend the lip color with the liner, creating a soft and seamless transition with no harsh edges.

Step 7:

step7 blot

Blot the lips and you're all done. You've got a Kylie Jenner pout and no needle marks to show for it!

Shonda Rhimes dominates Thursdays >>

From the minute Meredith Grey graced our screens on Grey's Anatomy, we made two new best friends: Meredith... and Shonda Rhimes. That didn't change when Kate Walsh came along, stole McDreamy back and then lost him again. And when Addison moved to California, we followed her there. Everything Rhimes has touched has turned to gold, at least in our eyes.

From the girls of Grey's Anatomy and Private Practice, to Scandal and that get-it-done mentality of Olivia Pope, Rhimes knows how to write for, and about, real women. Sure, sometimes the drama is a little overkill. No other hospital has experienced as much drama as Seattle Grace and its various iterations. No woman wears as much white as Olivia. But our girls are strong girls with soft hearts. Sometimes they break, but they always repair themselves. It's nice to finally have an "average" woman writing about "average" women.

Dear critics: Shonda Rhimes isn't angry, she's just black >>

Now, Rhimes is at it again — this time with How to Get Away with Murder. Expect no lack of scandal and drama. Don't be surprised by the sheer amount of sass. Will every twist and turn seem believable? No. Will there be a few characters that fall into those cliched television personality tropes? Yes, but it will be good. Edge-of-your-seat, nail-biting good. We'll all love it... because Rhimes is at the helm.

What better way to celebrate Shondaland than to pour some Champagne and play along with our drinking game. (Click the image to take you to a printable version.) Drink up, but stay safe: McDreamy doesn't work in your emergency room.

EXCLUSIVE: Watch the deleted Sleeping Beauty scene you've waited 55 years to see

The Walt Disney animated film, Sleeping Beauty, was originally released in theaters in 1959. Based on two fairy tales, Little Briar Rose by the Brothers Grimm and The Sleeping Beauty in the Wood by Charles Perrault, Aurora has since become one of our favorite princesses.

Meet Moana, the new Disney Polynesian princess>>

This epic animated film took nearly a decade to make and was the last Disney film to use hand-inked cels. But even before the animation began, a live-action version of the film was shot, using actors to help the director and animators get a feel for exactly what should be animated to appear onscreen.

If you've ever traveled to Germany, you may know that Disney's famous Sleeping Beauty castle was modeled after the magnificent Neuschwanstein Castle in Bavaria. The castle inspires the imagination and makes the perfect setting for a fairy tale.

PHOTOS: Disney characters as hipsters is the best thing we've seen today >>

In this exclusive clip, the three good fairies have just returned Aurora to the castle and given her a crown. Now alone, Aurora sits at her mirror, daydreaming about Prince Phillip, when she hears a voice whisper her name.

She follows the voice up the stairs of the castle where she finds a tiny sewing room. An ugly hag is there waiting for her and tempts Aurora to try her magical "wishing wheel". Well, no princess can turn down a chance to wish to see her true love. Watch our video to find out what happens next!

How will Maleficent stack up to Sleeping Beauty? >>

We can only scratch our heads and wonder why this dramatic scene didn't make it into the film, but we sure are glad we get to see it now.

The Sleeping Beauty diamond edition DVD and Blu-ray will be available on Oct. 7 for your own little princess.

6 Things that must happen in Parenthood's final season

$
0
0

Before we say goodbye, we have a few last requests for our favorite show. Let's tie up some loose ends, shall we?

Joel and Julia need to get back together

While, rationally, we understand that not all love stories last happily ever after, we need these two to work it out. For the kids, obviously. As awesome as it was to see Julia knocked off her throne of perfection, we don't enjoy seeing her so brokenhearted. Their separation was so poorly planned and handled, it's really messing with those kids. Can we maybe patch things up in hopes of helping the kids turn out normal?

Bravermans make the list of families we'd like to join >>

Sarah needs to settle down

Is she finally and forever over Mark Cyr? Can she and Hank finally have smooth sailing? Rumor has it that Hank's wife will return during the final season. Will that bring trouble? Will we say goodbye with Sarah (Lauren Graham) still single? There's nothing wrong with being single, don't get us wrong. But Sarah has never seemed to enjoy it, and we'd love to see her happy. For real.

We need to understand Haddie's storyline

Last season's ending featured a big reveal from college girl Haddie: a kind of pushy girlfriend. So is Haddie really a lesbian... or is she just going through a phase? While we fully support whatever decisions or experimentation she makes, we want to know once and for all whether this is a real thing.

The Luncheonette needs to succeed... or not

The Luncheonette storyline remains one of our favorites. It's been a great way for the show to incorporate cool music and awesome guest stars. Since its opening, though, it's been a roller coaster of ups and downs — like with any new business. In the final season of Parenthood, we'd love to see a definite success or failure. (Preferably success.)

We still love that Friday Night Lights crossover webisode >>

Amber needs to find happiness and Drew needs to smile

Can we talk about how messed up Amber and Drew are? Neither ever seem fully happy. Even at their peak, it's never lasted very long. A girl's happiness doesn't rest in a man, but we'd love to see things work out between Amber and Ryan. Failing that, we'd love another Friday Night Lights cameo — this time involving a night or two of fun with Tim Riggens Taylor Kitsch. Then, again, that might be weird, considering Amber is pregnant. As for Drew, we want to see where he goes in that new vintage car from Grandpa and, hopefully, know everything turned out in his favor.

There's one thing we don't need

Can we avoid a death or more cancer? There was a rumor last year that the final season would show a shift in family dynamics, and rumors all seemed to circle around the idea that Zeek (Craig T. Nelson) might die during the season. We don't want this! Death might be inevitable, but we don't want to have to say goodbye to Zeek any sooner than we have to. Even if, you know, it'd be nice to see Millie register how poorly she treated him last season.

Ready for the final season? We understand if the answer is "no." The beginning of the end of Parenthood premieres Thursday at 10/9c on NBC. Try to enjoy.

Vegan apple-raisin bran muffins are a healthy start to your morning

$

Most store-bought muffins are either dry as cardboard or loaded with sugar, making them very unhealthy. In this recipe I kept things simple and even skipped the dairy products completely. By using ground flaxseeds or chia seeds and soaking them in warm water, they become gel-like (aka "flax egg") and are a wonderful binder that substitutes perfectly for eggs. Using applesauce keeps these muffins dense and moist and adds just enough sweetness to make them taste great. Even the kids will love them.

Vegan apple raisin bran muffins recipe

Vegan apple-raisin bran muffins recipe

Yields 12

Ingredients:

  • 2 tablespoons ground flaxseeds or chia seeds
  • 6 tablespoons warm water
  • 2 cups organic bran cereal
  • 1-1/4 cups vanilla almond or soy milk
  • 1 cup organic raisins
  • 1 teaspoon pure vanilla or maple extract
  • 3/4 cup unsweetened applesauce
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 tablespoons melted coconut oil
  • 1-1/2 cups self-rising flour

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F, and line a muffin pan with muffin liners.
  2. In a small bowl, combine the ground flaxseeds and warm water. Mix, and allow to set for 10 minutes.
  3. To a mixing bowl, add the bran cereal and almond milk. Allow the cereal to sit for about 10 to 15 minutes or until the cereal is very soft and has absorbed most of the almond milk.
  4. Once the cereal has soaked, add the "flax egg" and all the remaining ingredients, gently folding to combine and not overmixing.
  5. Spoon the batter into each muffin cup about 3/4 of the way full, and bake for 12 to 15 minutes or until the muffins are a deep brown color and the centers are baked completely.
  6. Remove from the oven, and allow to cool slightly. Serve warm with dairy-free butter or at room temperature.
  7. Store in an airtight container for several days.

Drake Bell's feud with the Beliebers gets seriously nasty

Beliebers tell Drake Bell to shoot himself, plot his demise >>

Bell and Justin Bieber are not friends. The former Disney star has enjoyed bashing Bieber over the years by commenting about his legal woes and retweeting comments and pictures that mock the singer, and even signed a petition to get him deported to Canada. And the "Never Say Never" hit maker's legion of loyal fans have gotten in on the action.

Bieber's fans, who refer to themselves as Beliebers, have sent Bell a barrage of very scary tweets, including death threats, over the past few months, and the feud doesn't look to be cooling down anytime soon.

In fact, Bell recently got involved in a comment thread on Instagram and wrote a pretty nasty message to one of Bieber's fans.

Drake Bell to Beliebers: "Where are your parents?" >>

"You idol doesn't even do anything but cause trouble anymore (sic). No music no movies he's just being an idiot." And then, "Oh and I hope you die soon," Bell wrote in a message that was screenshot by Gossip Cop.

While Bell is fine with bashing Bieber, it seems a little strange that he would so openly attack one of his fans. Is the constant hating from the Beliebers making the Drake & Josh actor crack? It seems so.

Drake Bell slams other stars — and he has a great point >>

Bell took to Twitter on Tuesday to confirm he had, in fact, written that message, but he doesn't get what all the fuss is about given that Bieber's fans are always saying they hope he dies.

Is Robert Pattinson ready to take his new relationship public?

The British hunk was seen with Twigs in Hollywood on Monday, and the pair looked very much like a couple as they smiled and cuddled in his car. While the two are all but confirmed as an item, neither of them has admitted they are dating.

Robert Pattinson claims he's "quite sensitive" in relationships >>

This wasn't their first time being seen together and couple-y, either. Pattinson and Twigs were seen holding hands while visiting Venice Beach, California, over the weekend. Plus, an insider close to Pattinson apparently told Us Weekly that he and the London-based musician are doing great and "having fun" together.

The Twilight star and Twigs, whose real name is Tahliah Debrett Barnett, reportedly have been dating since August and met through mutual friends. They first took to each other over their mutual love for music and were seen together for the first time as they left the Bowery Hotel eatery in late August.

Robert Pattinson: "I have to prove certain things" >>

This is Pattinson's first relationship since his infamous breakup with Kristen Stewart in 2013. He was linked to several other famous women, including Dylan Penn and Imogen Kerr, but nothing ever came of it.

Before the news of his new girlfriend surfaced, Pattinson told Harper's Bazaar Arabia that he was looking for a relationship and wanted a girl who is sure of herself. "Someone knowing who they are, it's the best," Pattinson said.

VIDEO: Robert Pattinson has a rapper name, and it's Big Tub >>

Looks like he may have found that person in Twigs as the singer seems quite confident and, not only that, but she thinks Pattinson is "unbelievably handsome."

Jenelle Evans smokes cigarettes while breastfeeding and everyone judges her

On Sept. 12, Teen Mom star Jenelle Evans tweeted a photo of her baby daddy Nathan sleeping on a chair and fans were quick to notice a pack of smokes on the floor next to the ottoman.

Jenelle Evans twitter photo

Jenelle Evans twitter photo

I think we can all agree that breastfeeding is great for both mom and baby, and it's nice to see Jenelle making nursing work for her and her adorable son. Breastfeeding can be hard, and a lot of work, and considering Jenelle also has a toddler named Jace she certainly has her hands full.

Full of cigarettes.

Because when eagle-eyed Twitter followers noticed the pack of smokes on the floor in the picture she tweeted Jenelle replied: I'm outside smoking a cig right now lol.

Jenelle Evans instagram photo

Jenelle Evans instagram photo

We all know smoking isn't a great habit. It's not healthy, it's expensive, and for nursing moms it may affect breast milk production. But it's also none of our business whether Jenelle Evans smokes or not. Moms have it hard enough as it is with being judged by the entire world for how they look after giving birth, how they parent their children, whether they work or stay home, and whether they engage in cigarettes or the occasional cocktail while nursing. I personally feel unless a mom is abusing her kid or neglecting them then it's no one's business what they do. Jenelle admitted on Twitter that she only smokes outside, so why do people care what she does? It's her body and her life, and as long as she isn't blowing smoke all over her kids it's no one's business. I think there are way far worse things she could be doing, like trying heroin again.

Chloë Grace Moretz reveals her one true love >>

The Carrie star has previously downplayed her relationship, but when she appeared on Bravo's Watch What Happens Live on Monday, host Andy Cohen asked her directly if she and Brooklyn were more than friends, to which she replied, "That's naughty. That was a naughty question!"

She added, "Um, I don't know. He's a very good guy. He's a good person. I enjoy hanging out with him."

When asked if she was being coy because she didn't want to define their relationship, she smiled and said, "Maybe."

Chloë Grace Moretz reveals why she digs Brooklyn Beckham >>

Moretz not only had nice things to say about Brooklyn, who just so happens to be the oldest son of David and Victoria Beckham, but she's also a fan of his super stylish mom.

"She's an amazing person. I really admire her work ethic. I love her line. As a family, they're awesome people," the Kick-Ass actress confessed.

Victoria Beckham to sell 600 items in wardrobe for charity >>

The fashion world has been ogling over Victoria's latest designs that she showcased during New York Fashion Week, and while many of us are dying to get our hands on her garments, they do come with a hefty price tag! But one of the perks of dating a designer's son is that you might just get a discount on all of her clothes.

So, has Moretz tried to get a discount from Mrs. Beckham?

"I haven't tried yet. Maybe I'll try," she said. "I'm going to try that this week."

Miley Cyrus, Liam Hemsworth still spend time together >>

The "Wrecking Ball" hit maker shared a pic via Instagram in the early hours of Wednesday morning, which shows a doodle of a crying alien surrounded by word bubbles that include messages like, "I must go, I will miss yiew (sic)," "no galaxy, planet, sun or moon, compares to you" and "why does love make me cry." Which may suggest the singer has not fully healed since her split from fiancé Liam Hemsworth.

Cyrus is known to be somewhat mysterious and her alien drawing, which she captioned, "early a.m. drawin," could be entirely random. But the words and the fact that the drawing has an image of a heart split in two do pose the question as to whether she is still suffering from heartache.

We loathe admitting it, but Miley Cyrus' Led Zeppelin cover kills >>

Cyrus followed up her crying alien with another drawing of an alien, but this one was far less emotional and was instead blowing bubbles.

Ellen's parody is the perfect answer to McConaughey's annoying Lincoln ads

Matthew McConaughey Lincoln commercial

Matthew McConaughey Lincoln commercial

I'll admit to probably being the only red-blooded American female who isn't into Matthew McConaughey. When he first launched his career in the '90s, Matt and I had kind of a thing. He was hot, had great hair and a Southern drawl. But as he became more famous, we sort of broke up.

All I could see when he was on-screen was a guy who might be taking himself a little too seriously, who had been told a few too many times how good-looking he is and who had absolutely no table manners. Seriously, have you ever paid attention to how McConaughey eats on camera? It's a fright. And for whatever reason, directors keep having him eat on screen.

The real message behind Matthew McConaughey's super-weird Lincoln commercials >>

When I saw this ad last night, I was irritated anew with McConaughey. The delivery is just a bit too dramatic for a guy who's driving a car, and he comes across as being ultra-cool as he says he didn't drive a Lincoln to be "cool or make a statement." No s***. Does anyone drive a Lincoln to look cool or make a statement?

Matthew McConaughey is hanging up his G-string >>

I wasn't sure a rant about McConaughey would be understood or well-received. But as it turns out, I didn't have to write a long dissertation about how McConaughey needs to either come back to earth and chill out or disappear for a while. Ellen DeGeneres executed my point so much better than I ever could because she is the funniest person alive.

Is it possible Ellen shares my annoyance and that's why she decided to parody the newest McConaughey Lincoln commercial? We'll never know, and I don't really care because her rendition of this car ad hits the bulls-eye in more ways than one. Watch.

'Apparently Kid' from Ellen charms in FreshPet ad >>

Woman heading to trial for running 9-year-old to death

$

0

In February 2012, Joyce Hardin Garrard was arrested for forcing her 9-year-old granddaughter Savannah Hardin to run non-stop for three hours, allegedly costing the third grader her life. And, now as the case is heading to court next week, it seems to have taken Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson reportedly hitting his son with a switch to make people really question what's okay in disciplining your kids. And it worries the heck out of me.

In this case, Savannah lived with her father Robert Lee Hardin, her stepmother Jessica Mae Hardin and her paternal grandmother Garrard in Alabama. On February 17, 2014, she allegedly lied about eating a chocolate bar and the grandmother forced the little girl to run for three hours straight until Savannah collapsed into seizures. After her stepmother told 911 that Savannah was unresponsive, the little girl died in the hospital three days later. Although Savannah's father was away on business, the little girl's stepmother is being accused of murder for failure to intervene during this unusual punishment.

Now, let's talk about the medical facts here. The hospital cited dehydration and low sodium as the cause of Savannah's death, a condition common in marathon runners. And research found that kids age 6 to 18 years old suffered an average of more than 16,000 cases of running-related injuries in U.S. emergency departments each year from 1994 through 2007. So, the fact that the girl's father sued the hospital for malpractice and that defense attorneys are blaming the girl's pre-existing unspecified medical issues as the cause of her death makes me a little sad. Ultimately, a little girl's life has been lost at the hands of an adult family member.

Although it's likely that this case of a woman facing charges of running a 9-year-old to death will come down to medical facts, I'm still stunned by the fact that adults continue to blur the lines between punishment and child abuse. Who knows how long Garrard would have made Savannah Hardin keep running if she hadn't started seizing. And, I know that every person was raised differently, but times have changed. Adults need to stop causing harm and death to those innocent children who we're supposed to keep safe.

Universal confirms more Bourne on the way >>

Renner revealed the news to Capitol File, when he referred to Pacheco as his wife.

"I have tried to protect my family's privacy, my wife's privacy. I don't need her to get hammered with my life," Renner said.

And when asked if he is actually married, Renner replied with a simple, "Yes."

While no further details are available on Renner's wedding ceremony, he revealed that the news was kept a secret because he finds being followed annoying.

Jeremy Renner is officially a dad! >>

"It's annoying being followed when I'm with my family," the Hurt Locker actor said. "It's not just me — everyone [in Hollywood] has to deal with that. I've been talked about a whole lot, because the less I put out there, the less people know, and it makes it interesting, I assume."

Renner, however, was happy to share other information about his private life and how much he is loving being a father to his daughter, Ava Berlin Renner, who was born in March 2013.

"It's the best thing I have ever done — doing it later on in life. By then I achieved a lot of things that I wanted to achieve; I'm so blessed for that. Now I can really spend time with family. The only thing I think about when I'm not with my baby is, 'How do I get to my baby?' I need to get to her, and I'm very miserable when I don't see her. I really love being a father," he said.

Jeremy Renner gay rumors: Let's look on the bright side >>

"The only that has changed is my perspective on things. I still work, probably even more. It used to be all for myself so I'm not old and broke. All these things I still do, but I do it now for the future of my baby, and if it gets in the way of her well-being, then I stop," the Oscar nominee explained. "I can't wait for her to get older, but I really enjoy her now. She's the greatest. She's into her sticker phase... As a father, I'm going to make it very difficult for her to find a man."

Miles Teller bashes Divergent

During a recent interview with W magazine, Teller took some time to throw his biggest film to date under the bus with some less-than-flattering words about his filming experience.

Who's Hotter: Zac Efron vs. Miles Teller

Not only did Teller reveal he didn't find his character interesting, he also said he was "feeling dead inside" while shooting the film last spring.

"I didn't have an interesting part," Teller explained, "and I'd taken the film for business reasons: It was the first movie I'd done that was going to have an international audience. I called my agent and said, 'This sucks.'"

These are strong words that make us cringe. We can't help but feel like these words will return to bite Teller, who has previously always seemed like a pretty stand-up guy. He needs to remember that Hollywood is a small circle. Plus, his Divergent character, Peter, appears throughout the trilogy, which means Teller has two more films to get through in the franchise.

The Spectacular Now cast talks high school and sex scenes

Probably not a good idea to make the bigwigs at Lionsgate, who are making the movie, mad.

Teller's rep seems keenly aware of this and released a statement to the Hollywood Reporter on Wednesday morning, trying to explain Teller's words. "Accustomed to being more involved in the process of filmmaking, Miles regrets those words. He does value his relationship with Lionsgate and his participation in the franchise."

Of course, Teller's career will most likely survive the blunder. It isn't the first time a star has bashed his or her own film. Megan Fox famously spoke out against Transformers and director, Michael Bay. Even George Clooney has a reputation for some not-so-flattering words. If you'll remember, Clooney had some problems with his nipples during Batman & Robin.

The next big thing for YA: Is dystopian dead?

In fact, Teller seems to be taking some advice from Clooney and choosing films for passion, rather than money. His upcoming movie, Whiplash, about an aspiring drummer, is the film Teller says his agent pitched him to get him through the horrors of Divergent.

Do you think Miles Teller just had an awkward moment or is fame getting to his head?
