Another '90s heartthrob joins the CSI: Cyber cast

If you think the latest CSI spinoff isn't your kind of show, think again. The cast already includes James Van Der Beek and, now, CBS has just announced that they've added Luke Perry to the series in a guest role that could end up as a recurring one.

Jennie Garth and Luke Perry — together at last? >>

CSI: Cyber stars Patricia Arquette in a role inspired by real-life cyber psychologist, Mary Aiken. Arquette plays Avery Ryan, the head of the cyber crime division of the FBI. Her unit is in charge of solving crimes that start out in the minds of criminals and end up playing out in both the online world and the real world.

According to TVLine, Perry will play Nick Dalton, a former FBI agent who was once set to head the cyber unit. But his plans changed after a falling out and, now, he holds the key to many of Ryan's deep, dark secrets.

If you think Perry's role sounds yummy, wait until your hear about Van Der Beek's. He's already on board as FBI agent, Elijah Mundo, described as a "savant when it comes to weaponry, vehicles and bombs" and a "self-proclaimed action junkie." From that description, it sounds like there are some sweaty, shirtless scenes of Van Der Beek coming to CBS.

Luke Perry and Jason Priestley together again! >>

Van Der Beek was, of course, Dawson on the '90s hit, Dawson's Creek, while Perry was Dylan on Beverly Hills, 90210. With two '90s hotties in the cast, we have to wonder who else could end up on the show.

How about Perry's 90210 co-stars, Ian Ziering and Jason Priestly, as techie bad guys who are nerds by day and diabolical bad guys by night? They could wear glasses and suits at their corporate computer jobs, then change to no glasses and jeans with tight T-shirts when they are doing their bad-boy crimes.

We can't leave the 90210 ladies out. How about Tori Spelling and Tiffani Thiessen as wicked cyber criminals who lure unsuspecting businessmen into their cyber sex website to hack their identities and steal millions?

Or, since Spelling and Jennie Garth's show, Mystery Girls, was just canceled by ABC Family, maybe they could join the CSI: Cyber cast as two members of the team who have wacky personalities, but are absolutely brilliant. Kind of like Abby on NCIS.

From Dawson's Creek, it would be fun to see Katie Holmes and Joshua Jackson maybe as a sweet, married couple who seem to be falsely accused of a cyber crime. That is, until their true plans are revealed and they are exposed as a secret set of criminals with a cool name like "The Cyber Twins."

What did James Van Der Beek name his new daughter? >>

Or how about Michelle Williams as Mundo's ex-girlfriend, who is now dating a man connected to cyber crimes all over the country. We can almost taste the angst as Mundo tries to figure out how to tell his old flame that she's dating a criminal.

There is no set release date for CSI: Cyber yet, though CBS is reportedly looking at premiering it mid-season.

Cheryl Burke leaving Dancing with the Stars

Julianne Hough is headed back to DWTS >>

The popular pro dancer, who has been smokin' up the ballroom since Season 2 of the show, revealed that she most likely won't be back for another season following Season 19, which airs tonight.

"As of now, this is probably going to be my last season," Burke revealed. "I started when I was 20. I'm 30. I want to try new things and just see what's out there."

During her time on the show, Burke has won the mirrorball trophy twice, with Drew Lachey and Emmitt Smith, and has made it to the finals seven times. This season, she will be dancing with soap star, Antonio Sabato, Jr.

Dancing with the Stars Season 19 cast announced — who's in? >>

As for what's next for Burke, she still plans on being in the TV world. We might even see her take on another form of reality competition.

In 2012, Burke admitted she had talked with ABC executives about becoming the next Bachelorette.

"There hasn't been a firm offer, but if they offer it to me, I would love to do it," the dancer said, according to ABC News.

Burke has been open about exploring other opportunities while on the show, including opening her love life up to TV.

INTERVIEW: Candace Cameron Bure talks DWTS journey >>

The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have typically shied away from bringing on celebrities to fill the coveted role handing out the roses, but Burke might be the perfect gal to step into the show. Dancing with the Stars and the Bachelor nation already have a lot of crossover, after all. Bachelors Sean Lowe and Jake Pavelka appeared in Dancing with the Stars Seasons 16 and 10, respectively. And for the ladies, former Bachelor contestant, Melissa Rycroft, competed on Season 8 of Dancing with the Stars and returned to Season 15 for the "All Stars" round, winning the mirrorball trophy with her partner, Tony Dovolani.

Judging by past experiences, there's also still hope that we'll see Burke around the Dancing with the Stars stage in the future. Fan favorite, Julianne Hough, left the show after Season 8, but is returning for Season 19 as the fourth judge on the show. Maksim Chmerkovskiy also left for two seasons before returning and winning the last season of the show with his partner, Meryl Davis.

Dancing with the Stars Season 19 premieres tonight at 8 p.m. on ABC.

6 Reasons I won't buckle when my kids beg for a pet

$

For the past four years my kids have begged me for a pet of some kind: dog, fish, cat, hamster, lizard — they don't care, they just want an animal of their own to love. And I'm the worst mom in the world because this is the one issue on which I refuse to bend, and here's why.

Pets secrete. I once watched my sister wipe her dog’s butt, for real. I deal with enough bodily fluids from the three other humans who live in my house; no way to I want to clean up after an animal.

Pets make a mess. My kids are like an oil slick. They leave a trail of goldfish crackers and toys from one end of the house to the other. There are so many standing puddles of dirty water on my kitchen floor that it closely resembles the New York City subway. If we got a pet, I’d finally have to tear up all the flooring and just put down hay. And no, I don't want a hairless dog.

Pets are expensive. My mom’s dog ate an entire corn cob when it was a puppy and almost died. Yes, that is the dumbest dog ever, and that little corn cob incident cost my mother more than $3,000. I guarantee that if our family got a pet, it would develop some weird life-threatening medical problem that would require me to sell an organ to pay for it.

Pets run away. When I was a kid, our dog ran away many, many times. I will never forget the night my dad was almost arrested after the neighbors called the cops when they saw a strange man lurking in their back yard. That man was my poor father, looking for the dog while my siblings and I sobbed and begged him to find her.

Pets die. The first time I ever saw my parents cry was the day they put our first dog to sleep. There were two more dogs in our lives after that, and it never got easier to make that hard decision or watch them get old and pass away. Some might argue that having a pet and nurturing it from babyhood to death is a good way to prepare kids for the Circle of Life. I am not that person.

And last but not least, a 6-year-old boy lives in my house. He has big smelly feet and he runs in circles around my family room sofa. If I throw something, he fetches it. Remind me again why I need a pet?

Beyoncé and Jay Z's tour is over, but their marriage is strong

Little girl super-bummed president is not Beyoncé >>

The couple's On The Run tour came to a conclusion last weekend in Paris and, by the way Bey Z were acting, you would never have guessed that their marriage had been the subject of media scrutiny and divorce rumors that started a couple months before they hit the road in June. In fact, Beyoncé and Jay Z gushed about each other and got seriously emotional about ending their run in Paris, where they say their whole little family got started.

"We love Paris. It's special to us because we got engaged here and this is where baby Blue was conceived," Jay Z said while on stage on Saturday night, according to the Associated Press via ABC News.

"I'm your biggest fan, I love you," Beyoncé tearfully said to her husband. "Greatest entertainer in the world. I love her. She's my wife," responded Jay Z.

Doesn't exactly sound like the exchange of a couple who has recently been through the ringer of alleged marital woes. In just a few short months, rumors swirled that Jay Z had stepped out on his bride and her family had gotten involved. We heard that Beyoncé was getting advice from gal-pal, Gwyneth Paltrow, on how to "consciously uncouple" and sources said that Beyoncé and Jay Z were even sometimes staying in different rooms while on tour.

If you look a little closer at the evidence, the drama starts to look more and more like a well thought-out plan to keep Beyoncé and Jay Z in the spotlight. The infamous brawl between Jay Z and Beyoncé's sister, Solange Knowles, in an elevator after the Met Gala was perfectly timed to get buzz going right before the On The Road tour began. Beyoncé, herself, fueled rumors when she very deliberately changed song lyrics during a performance that clearly accused Jay Z of cheating. There's also the fact that neither of the two has ever come forward and just said their marriage is fine.

The latest stunt occurred last week when Jay Z reportedly also changed lyrics on stage to insinuate that Beyoncé is pregnant with another child, but those rumors were quickly put to rest on Saturday when both of them were witnessed drinking Champagne after the show, according to ABC News.

And then there's Beyoncé's father, Mathew Knowles, who himself alleges that the Solange elevator brawl and all of the other hijinks are part of a tactic called the "Jedi mind trick." "A Jedi mind trick fools you a lot of times," Knowles said in a radio interview in August. "All I know is that everyone is talking about it. Ticket sales went up. Solange's album sales went up 200 percent."

Bottom line is, the world hasn't stopped talking about Beyoncé and Jay Z for even a second since reports initially surfaced that their marriage was on the rocks. Looks like Beyoncé and Jay Z might be publicity geniuses.

Supernatural made me wait 6 seasons to fall this hard for Demon Dean

$

I was having dinner with some friends about a week ago when the conversation turned to TV and which season premieres we are most excited to see. I didn't hesitate when it came time for me to give my top pick, because I truly don't think I've been this excited to see a Supernatural season premiere in years.

13 Things we learned from the Supernatural Season 10 promo >>

Don't get me wrong, I always look forward to the premiere day each season, but there's just something about this season that has me practically salivating with anticipation. What is it about Season 10 that has me this riled up? Two words: Demon Dean. I'm already head over heels in love, despite the fact that we haven't met him yet, and I've got reasons why.

1. I've been wishing for him since Season 3

Just like I said in my Season 9 finale review, Demon Dean is someone I have been hoping to meet ever since Season 3's "Dream A Little Dream of Me." Ever since we were given the hint that Dean could become a demon after he sacrificed his soul to save Sam, I wanted to see it happen. Especially after Dean got to speak to his demon side in that episode.

2. Jensen Ackles is going to rock this so hard

Another reason I've wanted to meet Demon Dean for so long is the knowledge that Jensen Ackles would kill it. I love Ackles as the Dean we've all come to know and love after all these seasons, but I'm also beside myself at the thought of him portraying what is basically going to be a new character in the same body. I see TV as a form of artwork and actors are part of the tapestry that makes it great, so the chance to see an actor do something so different is a real treat.

3. He's a bad boy

Come on, who doesn't love a bad boy, right? Dean Winchester has been known to be a bit naughty himself sometimes. But I'll bet all of his transgressions put together won't come close to what we're about to see from Demon Dean. Is it wrong to be this excited to see Dean go all bad? Perhaps. But if this feeling is wrong, then I don't want to be right.

4. He likes to have fun

Have you seen the new preview video and promo photos? Demon Dean is into having a good time and I like that about him. It's interesting that the last time we saw Dean turn into a real party animal was when he was facing death during Season 3. Talk about coming full circle.

PHOTOS: Supernatural Season 10 serves up some Demon Dean karaoke >>

5. It's finally time to meet a different Dean

To date, we've met at least a million different versions of Sam. OK, so maybe it's not a million, but there have been a lot. But Dean, for the most part, has always been the same guy. So, I'm intrigued to see a different version of Dean.

6. He's got a great sense of humor

The trailer for Season 10 wasn't very long, but one thing I noticed was that Demon Dean seemed to be a funny guy. Sure, there was a lot of serious stuff in that preview, too, but any dude who gets up in front of a bar to sing some awful karaoke has got to have a pretty good sense of humor.

7. He will bring the angst level up to 11

OK, show of hands people. Who else watches Supernatural for the copious amounts of angst and man pain it delivers on a weekly basis? Well, if you like angst, it looks like Demon Dean is the guy to bring it to you. From the preview, we know for sure that it's not some unknown demon who has taken control of Dean, but Dean himself who is going to be doing some awful things. I'm guessing he's going to say some things that the real Dean has been hiding deep inside for a long time. Dean's demon side is undoubtedly going to leave Sam loaded with some extra angst as well, not to mention what all of this will do to Dean when he returns back to normal.

Who's hotter: Supernatural's Jared Padalecki vs. Jensen Ackles >>

8. He won't be around forever

The final reason I have allowed myself to fall in love with Demon Dean is that I know he won't be around forever. Something tells me he's going to be around just long enough to cause a ton of trouble and make everything nice and complicated. Then, something will happen to snap Dean back to normal and we'll all get to enjoy seeing him and Sam trying to come to terms with what happened.

Will Kate Hudson stay engaged forever?

Top 10 best dressed celebrity moms to copy in 2014 >>

"We're working, it's a long engagement," Hudson explained to Women's Health of her fiancé of three years. "I think the best part is knowing you're working towards the idea of a commitment that is hopefully as long of a stretch as you can pull it and forever seems beautiful."

Bellamy and Hudson have been engaged for three years and don't appear to be any closer to marriage. But they admit they are constantly working on their relationship and that is what is important. Hudson has learned her lessons — not only from her own marriage, but from her parents, Goldie Hawn and Kurt Russell.

"My parents aren't married," she said, according to People. "And one of the reasons why they never got married is because they had been married before and they liked it the way it was. They didn't feel like they needed a piece of paper to be committed. So for me I know that marriage is not a golden ticket."

Hudson and Bellamy are focusing on more important issues in their lives, like how to keep a family together when they both have such successful careers.

Kate Hudson slams eating disorder rumors >>

"How I make it work is we try not to spend too much time apart," she said, according to People. "We try not to spend more than two weeks apart. When you have kids it kind of goes without saying. You don't want to be away from your kids for more than two weeks," she says. "And we travel together and again it's one of those things we are lucky to not have to do the real long distance thing. To me I think when women who have children are fighting overseas, that's long distance. And that's very challenging. I really honor those families that do that."

How to make chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Every bite is gooey with melted chocolate and moist and fluffy. It's a bread so sweet you'll want it for breakfast, lunch, dinner and dessert.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Now, to make it, it's just so easy. Mix together your yeast, warm water and sugar. Let it sit until nice and foamy. Then you add in your flour and salt, and knead, knead, knead until soft and smooth like a baby's bottom. After that, you place this little guy in a warm spot so he can get nice and big like a good baby dough ball. Then you punch it.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

After it's been nicely punched, you roll it out until it's nice and flat. Simple enough, right?

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Then comes the part that's really hard. Not in the logistical sense, but in the sense where you have to actually prevent yourself from licking the filling right out of the bowl. Sure, it's just melted chocolate, but come on, who the heck can resist that?

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

How amazing does that look? Well, if you can resist, then spread it all over the rectangle of dough.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

This next part is fun — and a little messy. You might want to wear gloves (or just lick your fingers after each roll). Just simply roll this bad boy up in jelly roll fashion.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Here's an easier part. You can either cut it in half or in 3, depending on how you want to twist and roll. I cut mine into 3, but you can totally do 2. I won't judge. After it's sliced, place the strips onto a piece of parchment paper dusted with almond flour.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Here's the even more messy part. (Does that make sense? I hope it does.) Now you have to pinch the ends together so you can twist it all pretty like. You might also want to sing "Twist and Shout" while you do — not like I did that or anything.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

It's OK if your board looks like a chocolate massacre occurred. That's why the sponge was invented. Then you let your twist rise — yet again — to double in size.

Chocolate twist bread in a jiffy

Once it has doubled up again, you'll bake it until it's luscious and golden brown. After that, you'll drizzle it with some seriously luscious chocolate and crunchy, salty pecans. Because, why not?

Chocolate twist bread recipe

Yields 1-1/2

Ingredients:

  • 1/2 teaspoon active dry yeast
  • 1 cup warm water (110 degrees F)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup whole-wheat flour
  • Dash salt
  • 1/2 cup plus 2 tablespoons melted chocolate chips
  • 1 egg white, beaten
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, for garnish
  • 1/4 cup melted chocolate, for garnish

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees F. Once warm, turn it off immediately.
  2. Meanwhile, mix together the yeast, warm water and sugar. Let it sit for about 10 minutes, until foamy.
  3. In the bowl of a stand mixer, add the flours and salt. Attach the paddle mixer, and mix slightly. Gradually pour in the water-yeast mixture, and mix until combined. Remove the paddle, and attach the dough hook.
  4. Knead on low speed for about 6 minutes or until the dough is very smooth and elastic. Grease a bowl with canola oil, and place the dough ball inside. Roll it around to ensure the ball is evenly coated with oil. Cover with greased saran wrap, and place in the warmed oven to double in size (about 1 hour).
  5. Once doubled in size, remove the dough from the oven, and punch it down. Place the dough onto a floured hard surface, and roll it out to a 12 x 15-inch rectangle. Spread the chocolate over the rectangle, leaving a 1-inch border around the edges.
  6. Carefully roll up the dough (into a large jelly roll). Slice into 2 or 3 equal-sized slices. Move the dough slices to an almond meal-dusted, parchment paper-lined pan.
  7. Folding the dough strips together at the tops, carefully twist all the strips together until you get 1 large loaf. If you want, you can braid the dough together using 3 equal-sized strips.
  8. Let the dough rise again in the warm oven for 45 minutes.
  9. Once the dough has risen, remove it from the oven. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Brush the top of the dough with egg wash.
  10. Bake for about 22 minutes or until golden brown. Serve with the remaining melted chocolate and chopped pecans.

Ben Affleck as Batman: Adam West is feeling hopeful >>

Affleck is currently filming Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and he said he found himself relating to Batman more than he realized before accepting the role.

"For me, anger is so deeply buried and contained," Affleck told the Sunday Times, "that when it does kind of come out, it comes out in stronger bursts."

The actor explained that, like Batman, he is normally a happy guy, but every once in a while, people will see his other side. He said, I tend to be respectful, polite, get along, put up with, put up with, put up with…" Affleck said of his anger. "Then, when it finally emerges, it’s not something I have a ton of control over.

"I should sit down and say, 'Listen, I just want to let you know what happened there wasn't okay,' instead of going, 'Let it go, let it go, let it go… ah, that's not a big deal,' until finally you just pop!"

Rosie O'Donnell is a mom for the fifth time! >>

O'Donnell underwent vertical gastric sleeve surgery back in July 2013 and she said she believes she has lost about 53 pounds.

"I'm not used to it yet," she said of the weight loss, according to People. "I still buy the wrong-sized clothes."

O'Donnell once weighed 237 pounds, but said her heart attack back in 2012 was a wake-up call for losing the weight.

It was also a night out at the movies that became a wake-up call for the actress. She recounted a story about chatting with some moviegoers who told her, "I hope this doesn't insult you, honey, but you look a little like that Rosie O'Donnell."

"A lot of people who have never had weight issues their whole life would assume that losing weight and going from morbidly obese to being able to buy clothes off the rack would be only full of happiness and positivity, but that's not true," O'Donnell said. "It's also full of anxiety and vulnerability. I'm glad it's going at the rate it is because any faster than this would throw me into a panic."

Elisabeth Hasselbeck angry about Rosie O'Donnell's return >>

The View co-host, Whoopi Goldberg, also revealed she has been working to slim down, saying she has lost around 35 pounds, but is happy at her current weight.

"If I think about [losing more weight], I would start freaking out," Goldberg said. "I'm just doing it."

Kendrick Lamar and Taylor Swift gush over one another

Frat boys lip-sync Taylor Swift's "Shake it Off" and it's perfect (VIDEO) >>

Taylor Swift has made zero attempts at masking her Kendrick Lamar fandom and it looks like the two musicians have formed a mutual admiration society.

Swift danced her little pants off when Lamar took the stage at this year's Grammys and she sung the rapper's praises in a recent interview with Rolling Stone, admitting that she listens to his song, "Backseat Freestyle," when she wants to go from "feeling victimized to feeling awesome," according to Entertainment Tonight. "I know every word," she said.

"I appreciate Taylor Swift for not only supporting my music, but just the hip-hop culture," Lamar told the Associated Press via ET.

Squee! Taylor Swift announces new album, shakes off country >>

Swift and Lamar may come from opposite ends of the music spectrum, but Lamar made it clear that he believes music is the great equalizer and differences shouldn't matter. "There's really no gap, it's music and it feels good," he said. "Some people always try to lock it down and categorize it for one particular listener. But it moves all, even people from other genres."

The love from Lamar is coming at a great time for Swift, who's gotten a lot of press as of late regarding a mega feud with a fellow female pop star, rumored, but not confirmed, to be Katy Perry. "For years I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift told Rolling Stone of the songstress she refused to name. "She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?' [Then last year] she did something so horrible. I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy!"

For the most part, it seems Lamar is happy to focus on his craft, stay out of drama and let music be his guide. He even spoke out in defense of Macklemore and Ryan Lewis this year, after there was controversy about what category the duo's sound fell into at the Grammys and whether they should have taken home as many awards as they did. "It's other people's opinions. Whatever he put his heart out to do, you know he raps and people receive it as that — it's just opinions," Lamar said of Macklemore to MTV. "He just needs to do him. I wouldn't listen to what nobody got to say."

Mindy Kaling's maternal clock is ticking and she knows it >>

Kaling joined Howard Stern on Monday, Sept. 15 and she opened up about her past love, B.J. Novak. Stern asked if she had any lost loves that got away.

"He's a good friend of mine, yeah. He's my best friend. He broke up with me," Kaling told Stern, according to Us Weekly. "It was years and years ago that that breakup happened. I was so sad, not angry, sad. That was the hottest I ever looked 'cause I stopped eating. When I get depressed, I stop eating. I was so miserable and so beautiful."

Even though Kaling was being vague, Stern pushed her and said he knew it had to be Novak, to which Kaling replied, "Yes, you're correct. Not that you're Sherlock Holmes, Howard. He's legitimately one of my best friends. I love him, and I think he's a great person,

Kaling also joked that this love was "pretty damn good" in bed before he ended the relationship, but added that she's "not holding a candle for B.J."

Even though Kaling and Novak seem perfect for each other, they seem to be better as friends. Kaling tried to explain their relationship these days.

Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck have a stack of sexy polaroids >>

"You can't expect to be courted all the time, and I don't want to court him right now; I don't have the energy!" Garner told the magazine, via ABC News. "But we're definitely in a very mindful place where we're making an effort to be together, do things at the same time, and be loving."

Garner and Affleck married in 2005 when Garner was four months pregnant, and she said her life started right about then. She explained, "When we had our first [child], we had only been together a year. We were babies. It happened so fast, I hardly remember what we were like before the kids got here. Now we're just starting to go away for a night here and there."

Affleck and Garner are now parents to 8-year-old Violet, 5-year-old Seraphina and 2-year-old Samuel (and a rumored fourth baby), but they work hard to make sure they spend time just as a couple. Garner said that they have found the balance in their marriage — and she has become the mom.

"For better or worse, I tend to be the one who says, 'This is what needs to happen.' I know who wants what lunch, and I've done all the school paperwork and filled out the emergency cards," she said. "Ben doesn't know that stuff exists.

Shut up, Dad: Panic! At the Disco's "Bohemian Rhapsody" cover is awesome

That time Panic! counter-protested the WBC >>

Old people. Pfft. What do they know?

We get it: Everything was better during your generation. We're sure there will come a time where some band will come along and cover Foo Fighters and all we'll be able to do is throw shade on the newbs. In this instance, though, everyone needs to shut up and give credit where credit is due. Maybe we just have low expectations after the Sons of Anarchy "Bohemian Rhapsody" cover from last week. That hurt. Bad. But, this cover is pretty amazing.

Still a better cover than this monstrosity from the SOA gang >>

Brendon Urie is Panic!'s lead vocalist, keyboard madman and the only dude who should ever be allowed to wear leather pants ever again. He's also the one belting out those window-shattering Freddie Mercury high notes in near perfection. No. He's not Freddie. There's that edge to Urie's voice that has been driving fans wild since 2004. But that's a good thing! Covering songs isn't the same as doing karaoke. Panic!'s version of the song is absolutely a tribute to their favorite band, Queen. But Urie's already somewhat-unique vocals help set them apart.

Panic At the Disco cover Bohemian Rhapsody

Panic At the Disco cover Bohemian Rhapsody

And dude knows how to work a stage, right? Things start timid, with Urie behind the keys and everyone in their proper places. But as the song gets going, it's almost as if Mercury has overtaken the singer's body. There's prancing. And there's gravity-defying back-bending when Urie lays it on for those long, powerful bellows.

For a crowd that probably never got the chance to see Mercury in person, Panic! At the Disco's cover is nearly perfect... and as close as they'll ever get. Don't hate on it and ruin it for everyone. Enjoy it for what it is: One band showing love to another band.

Back in April, the singer told 105.1's morning show, The Breakfast Club, the story of her first date with Young. "I was like, 'Target is my favorite place! I want to go to Target,' so I made him [go]. You can learn so much about someone at Target! You can really get to know someone at Target, like what kind of quilts are you into, what's your favorite movies? What kind of snacks do you like?"

It turns out, the date worked perfectly for the two, because one year later, they are happily in love.

"Happy Anniversary boo thang," Young said with the picture. "1 yr ago I put my Mack down and took this girl on a date to Target, and she's been trapped since lol."

Don't worry; Young was sure to treat his leading lady right during their celebration. The date also came with a couple dozen gorgeous red roses, as can be seen in the picture above.

Iggy Azalea confesses her love for her man, Nick Young >>

Of course, their romantic rendezvous comes in the midst of a sex tape accusation surrounding Azalea. Though the rapper denies the claims that there is a tape of her out there, her camp followed up by saying there may actually be intimate footage of the singer and her ex-boyfriend but that, if there is, it was taken without her knowledge or consent.

Good thing she has a doting and supportive boyfriend in Young to help her get through it all.

Those purity rings that Nick and his siblings, Kevin and Joe, used to wear are gone. The rings symbolized their promise to abstain from sex until they were married.

In a new interview on HuffPost Live, the former Disney Channel star shared how he has reshaped his views.

Confession: Nick Jonas brings back feelings I thought I suppressed years ago >>

He said, "This is a real growth in me and not something I'm doing anymore. But I've got my set of values, things that are important to me now at this point in my life and that's all that matters."

Fans shouldn't think he's turned his back on religion, though. In fact, Nick has a very deep connection to the church.

"I've had an incredibly intense journey with faith and religion and my own growth. My belief in God is still very strong and important to me as a person and I think that's all that should matter," he explained. "I grew up in a church environment and still have love for the church."

Nick has always had a love for beautiful ladies. He has dated Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez and his current girlfriend is former Miss Universe, Olivia Culpo. He also loves faith.

He summed up, "What's important now is my relationship with God and that I not judge and that I not be judged."

The young hunk is now starring in a new DirecTV series, Kingdom, which does have a few racy nude scenes. The purity ring comes off and so do the clothes.

Kingdom premieres on Oct. 8.

Not that we think that means the violence is going to diminish in the slightest. If anything, the fighting around New Orleans is bound to get worse, not to mention, the internal fighting between the Original family now that Phoebe is a hybrid and Mama and Papa Original are back from the dead.

POLL: Should The Vampire Diaries' Kol and Finn return to The Originals? >>

Considering all the drama we know is about to unfold, the just-released images from The CW are — excuse us — kind of tame. They seem to be more of a character introduction than a showcase of the awesomeness that's about to go down. But we'll never miss the opportunity to stare at our favorite characters' faces. We've missed Elijah (Daniel Gillies) dearly and are quite happy to report his looks haven't diminished between seasons.

The Originals Season 2

We're keeping our fingers crossed that we'll see the relationship between Klaus (Joseph Morgan) and Hayley (Phoebe Tonkin) develop in Season 2. Of course, we definitely don't want or expect anything of love triangle proportions, but she and Klaus had some really great moments in Season 1 we hope continue to grow. He, no doubt, will be able to council her through becoming a hybrid and, since they share baby Hope together, we think there's a good chance for some solid mutual respect.

The Originals Season 2

Genevieve may be gone, but the witchy body snatching, swapping and returning is far from over. It is New Orleans, after all. If anything, the magical game is only going to be heightened since that lovely lady in the blue is Mama Original back from the dead, and we hear she's going to be more the haunting type than the lovable mother. The guy next to her is one of the Original brothers: Kol or Finn come back to help their mom destroy Klaus, no doubt, since the family has a history of thinking the hybrid is an abomination.

The Originals Season 2

We love Elijah no matter what, but we love him most when he's being bad. This picture seems to indicate some pretty naughty actions from the suit-rocking Original. We can't help but admire the way he so properly inspects this poor corpse.

The Originals Season 2

Well, this is a sight we never thought we'd see. No doubt, the father and son vampire duo aren't playing a friendly game of Go (that's what the game above is called). Remember that strategy we mentioned? No doubt, there is a different game afoot, rather than some pleasantries to waste an afternoon.

The Originals returns to The CW on Monday, Oct. 6.

I won't let men babysit my kids

My husband and I often find ourselves in the position of two people needing to be in three places (which is, incidentally, the subtitle of my autobiography), and as we all know, the holy grail of parenting is finding a reliable sitter.

The sitter we love the most is about to be a new mom herself, and it's time to find someone to replace her. Fortunately, we live in a college town and there are plenty of new recruits looking for work, especially this time of year.

I posted an ad on the university job board and found myself with an avalanche of candidates to choose from. Students majoring in child development, education, psychology, and students who had years and years of child-care experience. It was the motherlode of babysitters — including some male candidates.

Here’s where I confess that I’m a closet chauvinist. I didn’t interview a single male applicant. The idea of hiring a man to watch my son and daughter freaks me out. Which is stupid, right? When I was a kid, several of my babysitters were guys, and it made for a different energy — not bad, not better, but different. My siblings and I were always perfectly happy and safe.

Why do I feel this way? I’m sure it has something to do with societal perceptions and the news about child abuse in the media. I am well aware that not all men are pedophiles, but the idea that there's a guy out there who prefers watching kids for his college gig gives me the willies.

My husband spent the first nine years of his career as an elementary school music teacher and I watched him care for, nurture and oversee the musical education of hundreds of kids during that time, so you'd think I would be able to overcome this irrational prejudice.

My daughter, who has major anxiety issues, generally feels more comfortable with women and girls. My son, on the other hand, would love to have another guy around to get his full quota of rough-housing. But I just can't subvert that nagging feeling in the back of my mind that there's something fishy about a male babysitter.

Kim Kardashian defends Kanye over wheelchair incident

No koala is safe from Kim Kardashian's selfie addiction >>

Kim K posted a video on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 16 (because when does she say anything without posting a selfie of some sort?), along with a statement about the incident.

"What an amazing Australian tour! Its frustrating that something so awesome could be clouded by lies in the media," she said. "Kanye never asked anyone in a wheel chair to stand up & the audience videos show that. He asked for everyone to stand up & dance UNLESS they were in a wheel chair. #JustWantedEveryoneToHaveAFunNight #TheMediaTwistsThings."

Kim K defends husband's wheelchair faux pas

According to the Los Angeles Times, everything started over the weekend when West took to the stage during his Australian tour and told the audience, "I can't do this song, I can't do the rest of this show until everybody stands up. Unless you got a handicapped pass with special parking..."

West seemed to get upset there were people in the crowd not standing up, which included a man in a wheelchair and a woman with a prosthetic leg. He reportedly told them to stand up or "be removed."

"This is the longest I've had to wait to do this song. It's unbelievable," West added.

But it appears West did eventually see what was going on and said, "He in a wheelchair there? Only if he's in a wheelchair."

Kim says North West will have another sibling, or four (VIDEO) >>

But West also attempted to defend himself the next day, blaming the incident on the media.

"Welcome to today's news, ladies and gentlemen," he said. "We've got Americans getting killed on TV. We have kids being killed every weekend in Chicago. We have unarmed people being killed by police officers. It makes you just want to reflect on what are the things that are a little bit more sensationalized about this."

Blake Lively responds to Martha Stewart: I want my own path >>

Amber Tamblyn, America Ferrera, Blake Lively and Alexis Bledel starred in the first film and the sequel as four friends who stay connected over the summer, thanks to a pair of jeans that mysteriously fits each girl perfectly.

The foursome reunited for brunch this week and posted a picture together for all of us to enjoy.

Ferrera also shared the images and said, "Always a good day when I'm with my sisters #DeLosPantalones Love these amazing women @amberrosetamblyn @blakelively @alexisbledelofficial."

America the beautiful: America Ferrera marries! >>

The nostalgia of our youth has kicked in and left us hopeful that we have not seen the last of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants franchise. Both the original and the sequel did well at the box office, after all. According to IMDb, the first film, which was released in 2005, grossed nearly $40 million in the U.S. alone, while the 2008 sequel pulled in $44 million in the same market.

Back in April, Alloy Entertainment, who owns the rights to the Sisterhood stories, got our hopes up even more that a third film could be on the horizon. President Les Morgenstein said in a press release, "The Sisterhood series is one of Alloy's most cherished properties and we are looking forward to continuing its legacy with 'Sisterhood Everlasting' nearly a decade after the first film was released."

It's hard to believe it's been that much time since we saw the first film, but we're still keeping our fingers crossed that Tamblyn, Ferrera, Lively and Bledel can pull off high school. If the picture is any indication, the ladies are good to go.

Would you be OK if The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants was recast for a third film?
