Ariana Grande talks falling-out with her dad, grandpa's passing >>

"When her grandfather was dying, everyone was there for her. People flew to Florida to be with her, but Jai didn't," a source told E! News. "Ariana just felt he wasn't there like he should have been."

For Grande, the decision was simple. She posted a tweet Monday morning that shows her true feelings over the loss of Brooks.

"July was painful for many reasons but of all the personal loss I suffered last month, the loss of my grandfather, a true gentleman, was the only one that truly mattered," Grande said. "I thank my loves for being so in tune to what is good and right for me and my heart."

Sam & Cat canceled after one season: Conflicts to blame? >>

"I hope you will surround yourselves with people who will be there for you thru the bad times, not just the good," she added. "I thank everybody who was here for me when I needed them as the ones who weren't really broke my heart."

Grande and Brooks dated from August 2012 to July 2013, but couldn't make it work that time, either. Earlier this year, they got back together, but it looks like it's not meant to be for the couple. A rep for Grande has not yet commented on the split.

Stephen Colbert nails it with this dating advice

Ask a Grown Man: Stephen Colbert

Ask a Grown Man: Stephen Colbert

The comedian and future Late Show host was tapped to field reader questions for Rookie magazine's monthly "Ask a Grown Man" segment [via TIME]. Frankly, his words are a reminder of just how simple some dating tenets are for all ages. Although all his advice is pretty spot-on for the kiddos, including how to deal with a misguided young misogynist (gently but firmly tell him his comments aren't cool) and how to get dad on board with sleepovers at le boyfriend's house (you can't — the man has his reasons), here are the two key highlights I'd like to hone in on.

On guys who lie...

"There's a little contradiction here. You say, 'he likes me and treats me well,' but also, 'he’s kind of mean to me and lies to me a lot'... I would not waste my time with somebody who lies to you. Even the 'mean to me' is easier to deal with than somebody who lies to you a lot, because if he lies to you how do you know if he really likes you, even though he says so? Maybe he's lying about that, too... I would give this person one last shot and say, 'Don’t ever lie to me again... a predicate of this relationship is that you can't lie to me and I can't lie to you, so I am going to be honest with you, and not lie, and say this is your last chance.' Then kick him to the curb!"

On how to tell if someone likes you...

"People show they like you in all kinds of different ways, but some basic ones are: They want to hear your stories, they care how you feel, they want to make your day better, they want to listen to your problems, they reach out to you... if somebody goes to the effort to call you, reach out to you, write you, pay attention to you at a party, come over and talk to you, smile when they see you, ask you your problems, those are good signs that they like you, because they're making the effort to not be so self-centered that they want you to do that for them. Someone is giving you the attention, and wanting to know about your day and your problems, then they probably like you. If your happiness is more important than their happiness, or their first concern is what's going on in your life rather than in their life, then that's a really good sign. One nice definition of love, I think, is that one person's happiness is more important than your own, and some early signs of that is they want to make your day better by helping you unburden your own problems... If someone is just paying attention to you over and over again, it probably means they like you. Because if someone really doesn't like you, they mostly ignore you."

So in conclusion, ladies of all ages, remember Mr. Colbert's words... liars are impossible to deal with, let alone date, because they could be lying about your whole entire relationship. When someone likes you, they go out of their way to show it. (Always.) And love means putting someone else's happiness above your own.

From a grown man's mouth to our ears, it's pretty remarkable how simple the whole guy thing is when you break it down — and how easy it is to miss relationship issues when you're in the middle of them. Whether you're 12 or well into your 20s (or beyond), it's never to late for a reminder.

Amy Adams paints freakish, sad eyes in new Burton flick Big Eyes

Visual artists Margaret (Amy Adams) and Walter Keane (Christoph Waltz) were a real married couple who took the pop art world by storm when Walter's paintings of waif-like children with enormous ocular orbs became popular. The only problem was that Walter didn't paint them — his wife, Margaret, did.

Amy Adams give up her first-class seat for American hero >>

Amy Adams recently told USA Today that, "Margaret really believed that as a woman, people would not buy her art." Adams also said that Walter convinced Margaret that her paintings would sell at a higher price if they were signed with a man's signature.

Could Walter Keane's worries have been accurate? Possibly. Frankenstein's female author, Mary Shelley, published her original story about a grotesque monster anonymously in 1818, due to fears that the literary community wouldn't take the first piece of science fiction seriously if it was created by a woman.

No Kristen Stewart in testosterone-fueled Snow White Sequel >>

Regardless, the lie eventually broke up the Keanes' marriage. Even after the divorce, Walter insisted the works of art were painted by his hand until there was a paint-off in a federal court.

When both Walter and Margaret were asked to paint one of the big-eyed characters, Margaret executed the painting quickly while Walter complained of a sore shoulder. Margaret was awarded a $4 million settlement.

Adams also said, "This all seems so theatrical, like something you would design for a film. But that actually happened. Living the lie was something that weighed heavy on Margaret. But she won her name back."

Though Walter Keane died in 2000, Margaret is still alive, living in San Francisco. At age 87, the real Margaret happily met with Adams to help her master her brush strokes while recreating her creepy paintings on film.

Big Eyes also stars Krysten Ritter, Jason Schwartzman and Danny Huston and will be released in theaters Dec. 25.

Why Sony's female-led Spider-man makes more sense than a lady Thor

0
0

Our initial reaction to lady Thor >>

It's hard for us to admit that Marvel could do wrong and it was equally hard for us to say that not everyone was on board with their move to turn Thor into a female. On the surface, the move seems kind of cool to non-comic fans and women who would like to see more gender diversity within the superhero world.

Understanding "more" vs. "different"

We're all for seeing more heroines on the big screen and in comics, but we want it done right. Thor's sex change felt more like a publicity stunt. It was a way for Marvel to say, "See? We're catering to the women folk!" But, it wasn't a move that made sense for comic fans or for actual women. We don't need someone to throw us a bone. We loved Thor just how he was. What we wanted was more comics and comic-based movies centered on already-established female characters. Why can't we explore the life of X-23, Wolverine's female clone? Why couldn't the Black Widow be more than just a skintight suit and a love interest to various Avengers? Marvel seemed to think what women wanted was "different", when what we actually wanted, and what Sony understands, is "more."

Playing up their assets

We're also fully aware that a female heroine like Black Widow will still always need to wear those clingy outfits. First, it does actually make them more aerodynamic. Second, we recognize that, at this point in time, men are still doing the majority of comic reading, so they need those curves to keep them interested. We also don't mind the idea of a scantily clad heroine, because it means she's able to save the world like Iron Man while still lookin' hot like Superman.

More superheroes reimagined as heroines >>

And what would be different about a female Thor versus a manly Thor, other than boobs? How would they decide to incorporate her gender into the book? Honestly, it concerned us.

Showing love to new people

We understand the benefits of reworking an insanely popular character. People who love Thor will, at least out of curiosity, pick up the new version to make sure he/it hasn't been ruined. However, there's something to be said about using those same efforts to show a little love to an already-existing, but underrated, female character.

Within the Spider-Man universe, the options for a female lead are almost limitless (OK, maybe not). However, we have two thoughts on who would make the perfect female lead. Our bets are on Black Cat, as The Amazing Spider-Man 2 actually introduces her alter ego, Felicia Hardy. It sounds like they're already setting us up for it. However, Silver Sable, could also be a cool choice. As a regular in the Spider-Man world, Black Cat is an antihero who doesn't actually have any superpowers, just some serious fighting skills. And before you haters say she's a rip-off of Catwoman, know this: Black Cat was around for about a decade before Catwoman appeared. Just sayin'.

We're not saying we won't pick up the new Thor series. We're insanely curious and are, of course, hoping that Marvel will redeem themselves. At the end of the day, though, we like Sony's direction better. We, as women, don't want to be catered to, we want to be properly appreciated. Their expansion of marketed superheroes is the proper way to do it.

Lil' Kim attacks Nicki Minaj on remix of Beyoncé's "Flawless"

Nicki Minaj hosts jungle twerkfest in "Anaconda" video teaser >>

On the original remix, which features new vocals from Beyoncé and an ending guest verse from Minaj, the pop titan and raptress join forces for a new spin on the feminist anthem. While Mrs. Carter finally references the infamous elevator footage fight between her husband Jay Z and younger sis Solange, Minaj uses the track to proclaim her rap power by referring to herself as the "Queen of Rap." Lil' Kim's version of the remix stays close to the duo's remix but cuts off Minaj's verse mid-bar.

Beyoncé might have just called out Jay Z for cheating >>

"Am I trippin' or did this h* just say my name?/ queen of rap? f*** outta here/ queen is back, get outta here/ time to get this swag b**** outta here/ I woke up like this, f*** outta here," she spits on the verse.

Lil' Kim shared the remix via Twitter and her WhoSay account, announcing that she shut down Twitmusic with the big unveil of the mix. It's just the latest move in her widely known feud with Minaj. But Minaj has had her share of diss tracks directed at Kim, including "Roman's Revenge" and "Stupid H**." Don't expect a response from Beyoncé.

Pierce Brosnan wishes he was more like James Bond

The Irish-American star revealed during an interview with DuJour magazine's August 2014 issue that he doesn't have all the qualities of his old character and he's actually a really poor fighter — although, we still don't believe that.

Begorah! Hollywood's finest Irishmen >>

"I just wish I was as cool as they are," Brosnan reflected of his old screen character — a four-film role which spanned from 1995 with Golden Eye, to Die Another Day in 2002. "If I got into a fight in a bar, I'd miss the dude by miles. I wouldn't know how to connect. It would be a comedy."

Well, many women would not care if the actor was able to win a fight, because his latest photo shoot with the magazine's photographer, Eric Ray Davidson, shows that he still has what it takes in the looks department.

Davidson did a great job at channeling the 61-year-old actor's inner Bond, because he looks very suave on the beach, dressed in a black tuxedo and bow tie.

Reports: Taylor Swift cast in big-budget spy movie >>

"That role is a gift that keeps giving in many respects," Brosnan said of his prior 007 role. "I resist any negative feelings or tension as it's such an iconic role. I think there's space for people who enjoyed my work as Bond to enjoy this film and see the guy I once was play the guy I am now."

Brosnan's role as James Bond may be a thing of the past, but that doesn't mean that he has given up entirely on playing a spy. He will be starring as an ex-CIA agent in The November Man, a role that he believes is a good fit for him.

Skyfall becomes highest-grossing Bond film of all time >>

"I thought it had complexity and it was a good fit for me as a character to play, having been away from the spy game for some time," Brosnan said of the forthcoming film. "All the ingredients were well balanced — the writing, the characterization and the story."

The film comes out this month and we can't wait to see Brosnan take on an action-packed role once again.

Sounds like fun! Kardashian appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live on Monday and revealed that her daughter North has become less enthusiastic about having her diaper changed.

"She does not want to sit to get her diaper changed," Kardashian shared. But it's easier with dolls, and Kardashian was more than willing to take Kimmel on in the diaper changing challenge, and the results crowned her the ultimate winner. She even got to take home a diapered Oscar statue, but she also gave us a really, really good laugh.

However, the interview was not all about motherhood and diaper changing. Kardashian also dished the dirt on her lavish wedding to Kanye West, which took place in Florence, Italy, earlier this year.

While we already know most of the details, the reality TV star did reveal a little secret: Her sister Khloé was super hungover during the ceremony.

"Khloé drank a little too much," she revealed on the show. "I had to wake her up and she was laying down, sleeping, getting her makeup done for the wedding… they had to do it while she was sleeping. She was so hungover."

VIDEO: Whoopi Goldberg schools Donald Trump on Ebola virus

The Sister Act actress blasted Trump for his recent comments about letting the infected American missionaries Dr. Kent Brantly and Nancy Writebol into the U.S. for treatment after they contracted the life-threatening disease while working with patients in West Africa.

Whoopi Goldberg apologizes for sloppy journalism comment >>

The missionaries were transported back into the U.S. and are now under the close watch of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. They are currently being treated in Atlanta, Georgia. This is something Trump is clearly unhappy about, and he took to Twitter on Saturday to share his views about the matter.

The business mogul suggested that the U.S. close its borders to those needing medical attention for the Ebola virus, but this is something Goldberg strongly disagrees with. In fact, she's called his comments "stupid" and "idiotic."

Goldberg let her views be known on Monday, on The View, where she admitted Trump is her friend, but that his views are completely wrong.

"I don't really know how to respond to it in a polite way," Goldberg said. "I like Donald, I try to be respectful, but this was an idiotic comment."

"I'm not defending him, but he is also a friend of mine, so I don't want to be disrespectful to him," she continued. "But that was a stupid comment."

Whoopi Goldberg doesn't care about the royal baby >>

Goldberg went on to explain how the virus does not just "carry in the wind" and that to contract the virus bodily fluids must be exchanged. "Do your homework, Donald," she added. "Just do your homework."

Although, we're not sure Trump got his friend's message because he took to Twitter again on Tuesday to express the seriousness of the Ebola virus.

When it came to editing her famous closet, the mother of four had some help from her mother and sister.

Victoria Beckham on her boobs: "I don't have them anymore" >>

She told Grazia magazine, "My mum and my sister came over to mine and we sorted through the rails and packed up the boxes. My sister was so harsh. I'd be like, 'Oooooh I can't give this away,' and she'd say, 'Give me that. Put it in the box now… Harper is never going to want that!' To be honest there are some pieces I'm sure Harper would love — I think I've donated the very best pieces — but there are a lot of other people out there who will really enjoy them."

In addition to the online sale, there will also be an auction of 10 of the former Spice Girl's most iconic looks.

World's largest closet gets robbed for $1 million worth of goods

0
0

Theresa Roemer caught a lot of flack last month for her over-the-top closet — a $500,000 monument to conspicuous consumption. She also caught the attention of thief with an eye for fashion, who last Friday night broke into her Houston, Texas home and the "world's biggest closet" and made off with a reported $1 million in Birkin bags, watches and jewels.

The news reports about her closet also included a mention of her more than 60 Birkin Bags, which at about $20,000 a piece means the Hermès handbag collection alone was worth more than $1.2 million, conservatively. The burglar had pricier items in his sights, though, and took three Birkin travel bags, valued at $60,000 each and stuffed them full of jewels and watches.

“All of my jewelry is gone,” Roemer said.

Law enforcement thinks the recent publicity about the $500,000 closet stuffed with baubles caught the attention of thieves who simply couldn't resist the massive score. But when asked if she regrets letting the world into her luxurious lair, she says she remains focused on the positive side of the media blitz.

"I would absolutely do it all again, the positives have far outweighed the negative," Roemer says. "The purpose of my closet is to hold fundraising events in a unique venue. The publicity has given visibility to my space and I have been approached by many reputable organizations to hold events that people will benefit from. I am truly grateful for that."

No matter how easy it is to judge her and her over-the-top lifestyle and chalk up the heist as self-induced by her own publicity campaign, she is also a person who has been violated and lost irreplaceable treasures. Most upsetting, she told the Houston Chronicle, is the loss of her silver locket which inside holds a lock of hair from her son, who died tragically in a 2006 car accident.

"It's the only thing left of my son, and it's gone," she said crying.

The robber was fortunately caught on surveillance video. Roemer admits she forgot to set the alarm before leaving for dinner at the country club with friends. But, she adds, she'll pick herself up and move forward, just like she always has.

"It is unfortunate that someone chose to violate my home in such a way and it is heartbreaking, however I am strong and will get over this hurdle as I have in the past," she says. "Life goes on and we will continue to hold events in the closet. Good always outweighs evil."

James Corden to replace Craig Ferguson: Here are all the pros and cons

0
0

Nope! Chelsea Handler won't replace Ferguson >>

Pro: He's really freaking funny

Corden may be a somewhat-new face for Americans, but he's been all over British TV and he's super funny. They've even had the 35-year-old comedian host the Brit Awards on four separate occasions. Brits don't even seem that taken with the Queen.

Con: He's even less famous in America than CraigyFerg was when he came around

OK. That's not entirely true. Certain subcultures within America already know and love Corden. For instance, Whovians recognize the bloke as Stormageddon's dad on Doctor Who. And any Anglophile who has ever binge-watched British telly will remember him from The Big Fat Quiz of the Year.

James Corden and Matt Smith

James Corden and Matt Smith

Pro: He can write, so expect a more hands-on approach

Much like our boys Jimmy Fallon and Seth Meyers, Corden is a skilled comedic writer. When you've got some downtime between the summer and fall TV seasons, check out The Wrong Mans on Hulu. Corden created the series and stars as the goofy sidekick. If you can find it, he also created and starred in the brilliant Gavin and Stacey.

So sad! Craig Ferguson is ditching us >>

Con: Once again, it's another white dude on late night

Perhaps it's hard for networks to think of female or African-American late-night hosts because they're thinking about them in terms of "replacements," instead of starting something new. Either way, the lack of color and gender diversity on late night is shameful. After all the fuss we've made about Meyers and Fallon, you'd think CBS would've stepped up and been the ones to go out on a limb. Guess not.

Pro: He can (sort of) sing... so we can expect that extra level of silliness

During his time on Big Fat Quiz, Corden let loose with some Ting Tings and Carly Rae Jepsen. Our favorite vocal performance was with Ed Sheeran, though. Not only can you catch a snip of the dude singing at the end, but you can also see how well he meshed with big names.

James Corden & Ed Sheeran

James Corden & Ed Sheeran

Pro: That accent

What? Do you need more than that?

Listen... we're all sorts of annoyed about the lack of late-night diversity. That said, we're all 50 shades of sad to see our dearest CraigyFerg leave us behind. That said, though, if anyone can keep us tuned in and laughing, we truly believe it's Corden. We reckon some of you might disagree, though. Give it to us straight!

Oprah gets catty on the new cover of O magazine

Oprah's 1983 audition surfaces: Would you have hired her? >>

Winfrey is streamlining her look for this year's makeover issue and the big wig says she is happy to do it. "I like pretending I'm a movie star," Winfrey told E! News behind the scenes at the shoot.

The The Butler actress's hair was sleekly styled into a low ponytail and makeup artists gave her a smoky eye with glossy lips as photographer, Ruven Afanador, snapped away. Winfrey also had her nails done in the of-the-moment cat-claw, which fit right in with the black Capezio catsuit she donned.

While Winfrey admitted she was "feeling pretty phenomenal on this cover," that's not to say she faced the event with no qualms. "I was a little bit apprehensive about doing this cover in a bodysuit because as Maya Angelou says in her 'Phenomenal Woman,' 'I'm not built to suit a fashion model size,'" Winfrey said. "But it's like something I've never done. It's really kind of exciting."

The former talk show host most likely summoned her confidence for the shoot by calling on the power of Angelou, who Winfrey counts as a mentor and hero. "I've been so blessed to have Maya Angelou as my mentor, mother/sister and friend since my 20s," Winfrey said of Angelou around the time of the famed poet's passing in May. "She was always there for me, guiding me through some of the most important years of my life."

Though this shoot may have been a tad nerve-racking for Winfrey because of her outfit, she's certainly no stranger to being photographed for the mag. She appears on the cover of every issue.

The September makeover issue of O magazine arrives on newsstands on Aug. 12 and you can see stunning preview photos of Oprah's shoot at eonline.com.

George Clooney holds A-lister engagement bash >>

There has long been a rumor that Clooney left a photo of his nether regions on the fridge on the set of Roseanne, but it has never been confirmed. But Roseanne Barr appeared on The Talk this week and she explained that the rumor is very much true.

"We would laugh at it all the time, and about the second day it disappeared," Barr said, according to Gawker. "I thought it would surface by now, but maybe they don't know it was George Clooney."

Clooney has denied the photo exists, but it has turned into somewhat of a legend. The rumor goes that John Goodman snapped the photo, which had Clooney's man part "disguised" by a pair of Groucho Marx glasses. And although Clooney won't confirm the photo ever existed, he has said that taking a similar photo is a personal favorite gag of his.

Jeff Goldblum brings Jurassic Park to a lucky couple's wedding

Jeff Goldblum's Reddit AMA: No cavities & dolphin dreams >>

The photographer, Adam Biesenthal, confirmed to Mashable that Goldblum was in attendance at Pamela and Jesse Sargent's wedding on Aug. 2.

Goldblum is getting ready for his own wedding. Back in July, he proposed to his girlfriend, Emilie Livingston, while on vacation in Hawaii. Although Livingston is 30 years younger than the actor (she is 31, he is 61), they have been together for two years and appear to be completely in love. They haven't yet announced a wedding date, but Goldblum is obviously doing what he can to make others’ weddings as special as possible.

Meanwhile, the series that was launched (at least, on film) 21 years ago as the original Jurassic Park is continuing to produce movies. Jurassic World is expected to be out in 2015 and stars Chris Pratt, Judy Greer, Bryce Dallas Howard and Jake Johnson, among others. According to IMDb, the plot is "unknown at this time," but Chris Pratt's star power coming off Guardians of the Galaxy will likely make the film another blockbuster for the Jurassic franchise.

Jurassic Park 4: It's on, says Steven Spielberg >>

Goldblum appeared in the original Jurassic Park and the sequel, The Lost World: Jurassic Park, but he hasn't yet signed on for the newest film. So, it looks like the wedding photo may be the closest fans get to a revival of Goldblum's dino world.

The problem is that Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, arguably one of the most successful wrestlers to cross over to mainstream success, is not so much as mentioned in the article, despite the fact that he is half black, half Samoan and held the WWE champ title a total of seven times between 1998 and 2002, according to WWE.com.

"In the fictional WWE storylines, being the world champion means you are the best wrestler," the article, authored by Dion Beary, states. "But in real life, it means you are the best performer. The decision of who gets to be the titleholder simply comes from a team of creative writers with the final call going to WWE owner Vince McMahon himself. Who do we want to be the face of our company? Who do we think is good enough?... In its 62 year history WWE has never chosen a black wrestler to hold its world championship."

Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson isn't as tough as you think >>

When confronted by fans on Twitter, Beary gave very specific and well thought-out reasoning for why he chose to omit Johnson from his piece. "What made you decide to jump over The Rock's involvement with being a black WWE Champion and dynamic character? @hashtagdion," Twitter user @RappersRActors wrote in a series of tweets that have since been removed, but can be seen in screen grab form on uproxx.com. "@RappersRActors Rocky is Somoan and it's his Somoan lineage (first third gen wrestler in WWE) that led to his red carpet stardom," Beary replied. "I can't make The Rock a black guy just because people seem to want him to be."

Beary later edited his article and added the following statement: "The only person of African descent ever named world champion was Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, a special case. Half Samoan and half African-Canadian, Johnson identifies as Samoan and comes from a line of famous wrestlers. As WWE's first third-generation fighter, he was allowed a narrative that reflected his specific family history, not the mere fact of his race."

Pretty Little Liars review: Noel makes a creepy comeback

Noel returns to school after being away at... does anyone know where he's been? Plot hole aside, we're glad to see him rejoin the cast. His name has been cropping up quite a lot for him to not actually appear in the show ever.

Who's hotter: Keegan Allen vs. Ian Harding >>

Playing sides

As soon as Noel popped out from under that sheet, I started laughing. Aside from the unintentionally hilarious beginning, the scene quickly turns tense, as Noel demands his keys from Spencer (Troian Bellisario), which Emily (Shay Mitchell) stole to break into his car. As Noel argues with Spencer, we discover that he may not be Team Ali all the way, since Noel is very aware that Alison (Sasha Pieterse) has a habit of abandoning people once she's done with them. It's a fair point that explains why the girls found some odd pictures of Ali hidden in his car, but he's just so creepy in this scene that we have a hard time rooting for him.

Still, we don't think Noel's the bad guy. Not after tonight, especially. It sounds like Ali's got something on him, which is the main reason he's helping her and not because they're suddenly BFFs. This would also explain why Mona (Janel Parrish) and Noel may be talking. Could Noel be playing both sides just trying to keep lies of his own hidden away?

As Pretty Little Liars does so well, Noel's re-entrance into the show only leaves us with more questions than we started with. We're just going to assume this means the writers have something big planned for him, since tonight's episode didn't do a lot in the way of assuaging our curiosity about his involvement in the A game. Unfortunately, something tells us we aren't going to get any of the answers we want anytime soon.

QUIZ: Are you a hard-core Pretty Little Liars fan? >>

Seeing double

But we do get answers tonight about Sydney. No, we have no idea why she and Jenna are wearing the exact same outfit in this episode, but we do know that she met Jenna a few years ago and came to Rosewood as support after news of Ali's return. After Emily catches Sydney with Jenna, Sydney tries to explain that she truly likes Emily, but Emily isn't having it. She doesn't trust Sydney, and she shouldn't. We haven't forgotten that moment a few episodes ago when she and Jenna were scheming all evil-like.

The road to reconciliation

Speaking of evil, Zack's turn to the dark side is finally uncovered. And Ella isn't a surprise. Apparently, there was another similar incident in another town before Ella and Zack arrived back in Rosewood. At the time, Ella brushed it off as just a rumor, but after the second time, she can't ignore the reality that Zack's got a problem. They call off the engagement, just in time for Byron to return home from his conference and comfort Ella. We're so hopping these two will reconcile!

While Byron and Ella may be on the path to happiness, Hanna (Ashley Benson) and Aria (Lucy Hale) find their own happy ending tonight when Aria apologizes to Hanna for not accepting Zack's turn to the dark side when Hanna first told her about it. Looks like the gang is back. Let's just hope Hanna's mood is on the upswing so she doesn't feel the need to chug vodka anymore.

Corroborating confession

At the end of the episode, some random guy shows up at the police station and confesses to kidnapping Alison. He knows all the made-up facts Ali told the police about her abduction. Turns out, the guy is working for — you guessed it — A. As if this show needs any more characters! I suppose if it finally leads us to the true A, we'll take one more, but he better be good.

Danity Kane members reportedly involved in fight

Danity Kane serves haters a glass of "Lemonade" on new song >>

According to the report, the pop&B group was in the studio on Monday night when things got heated between Richard and O'Day. TMZ reports that Richard ended up punching O'Day, even though third member, Shannon Bex, tried to break up the fight. O'Day reportedly filed a police report for battery and, if that's the case, then the DK3 comeback reunion is likely over. Cops are currently investigating the case. Even though today marks Richard's 31st birthday, there's been no word on the reported incident from any of the ladies via social media.

After disbanding back in 2008 due to internal conflict, Danity Kane reunited late last summer, marking their return as a foursome at the 2013 MTV Video Music Awards. Fifth member D. Woods opted out of the reunion because of already-confirmed plans for her solo career. Since then, the band has been working hard at their reunion LP with the mastermind producers behind their hit, "Damaged." During night one of their No Filter Tour, bandmate Aundrea Fimbres announced that she'd be participating in the tour, but would ultimately be leaving the group to focus on her recent engagement and family life.

One girl who did make a subtle reference to the fight incident was D. Woods, posting a photo of Kermit the Frog with the caption, "....But That's none of my Business." Talk about shady.
