Gwyneth Paltrow explains how water has feelings

Gwyneth Paltrow has always been a little different than the average duck, but with her blog, she is letting her fans into her most personal thoughts and feelings. And it is interesting, to say the least.

Gwyneth Paltrow slammed for comparing celebs to soldiers >>

Paltrow wrote a new post for her Goop blog, and this time she enlightened her readers on her feelings about water.

"I am fascinated by the growing science behind the energy of consciousness and its effects on matter," Paltrow wrote. "I have long had Dr. Emoto's coffee table book on how negativity changes the structure of water, how the molecules behave differently depending on the words or music being expressed around it."

The actress was referring to Japanese doctor Masaru Emoto and his books that say water is affected by the human consciousness. He has written that the structure of water can change based on your mood. According to Us Weekly, one of his most famous experiments involved yelling at rice to see if it affected its structure.

Paltrow invited friend Dr. Habib Sadeghi to "explain further" on her blog, and he said, "Emoto's experiments proved that energy generated by positive or negative words can actually change the physical structure of an object.

Step away from the mic: Gwyneth Paltrow screws up, again >>

“When frozen, water that's free from all impurities will form beautiful ice crystals that look exactly like snowflakes under a microscope. Water that's polluted, or has additives like fluoride, will freeze without forming crystals," he explained. "In his experiments, Emoto poured pure water into vials labeled with negative phrases like 'I hate you' or 'fear.' After 24 hours, the water was frozen, and no longer crystallized under the microscope: It yielded gray, misshapen clumps instead of beautiful lace-like crystals. In contrast, Emoto placed labels that said things like 'I love you,' or 'peace' on vials of polluted water, and after 24 hours, they produced gleaming, perfectly hexagonal crystals."

Since her "conscious uncoupling" from husband Chris Martin, Paltrow has made some questionable comments, both on her blog and in the media. While the latest may be more harmless than the others, it still gives a good insight into the mind of Gwyneth Paltrow.

Human breast milk is "the greatest health supplement ever?"

"It gives me incredible energy I don’t get from other food and drinks," Anthony, who didn’t disclose his last name, recently told New York Magazine. "I don’t believe in steroids or other energy supplements, none of that garbage… I want natural stuff that’s God-given."

Well, breast milk is certainly natural — perhaps the most "natural" food available to human beings. It has a perfect combination of fat, protein, sugar, nutrients and water, designed to uniquely nurture the human body. In addition, breast milk contains antibodies and immunoglobulins that can help fight infection and boost the immune system, a main reason why bodybuilding proponents call it "the greatest supplement ever."

But before you rush to your local milk bank or start eying unattended diaper bags at the park, there are some things you should know first. According to Dr. Claire McCarthy, a pediatrician and medical communications editor at Boston Children’s Hospital, while the formulation is ideal for humans, it's really only ideal for the under-3 set. Infants build their immune systems as they grow which is why they need the immunoglobulins in breast milk — but most adults already have them.

Then there are the health risks. "Milk is a bodily fluid and can carry infections that are present in the body, such as HIV, hepatitis and others," McCarthy said.

Plus recent studies have shown that human milk from individuals or milk obtained through the internet is at high risk for being contaminated. The FDA even issued a warning that unless you purchase the breast milk from the Human Milk Banking Association of North America, which dispenses breast milk only by prescription or to hospitals, your milk will not be adequately screened for disease or contamination.

Lastly, at this time, there are no scientific studies showing that human milk is actually providing the benefits to adults that message boards and enthusiasts say it does. This certainly wouldn't be the first time an "out there" nutritional supplement is more hype than substance.

It's so simple to find other foods that offer a solid post-workout nutritional profile, complete with protein, fat and carbs, that it seems like an unnecessary risk to take just for a few unproven benefits. Still though, it would definitely give you an interesting conversation starter at the gym when someone asks what's in your water bottle.

John Oliver hits the FCC hard on the net neutrality issue

Since the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) suggested a proposal that will change the way we use our precious internet, an uproar has begun. Protesters have been seen in front of the FCC headquarters holding signs that read "keep the internet open," and critics have shivered at the prospect of an agency being able to regulate internet traffic. And yet, even with all of the attention it's been receiving, the issue's true weight was realized by the mass general public only recently.

Why the sudden wave of piqued interest? Sunday's episode of Last Week Tonight with John Oliver featured the political satirist taking a stab at the underlying meaning of net neutrality using the same style of dry humor that won him the hearts of Daily Show fans and comedy lovers everywhere. Oliver pokes fun at the media's portrayal of the issue, suggesting that net neutrality has an uncanny ability: It can simultaneously create confusion and extreme boredom in the minds of everyday Americans.

Oliver did us all a favor by putting net neutrality into simple terms that everyone can understand: Net neutrality "means that all data has to be treated equally, no matter who creates it." He expressed his concern over the impending net neutrality proposal, stating that "ending net neutrality would allow big companies to buy their way into the fast lane, leaving everyone else in the slow lane."

Watch Oliver's rant here:

Basically, we've all been enjoying net neutrality without even knowing or appreciating it, and Oliver awoke a sleeping giant by showing the public how these proposed regulation changes would affect them personally. Americans across the nation laughed their way into an understanding of a tricky term, and the video quickly went viral. So viral, in fact, that Oliver's call for commenters on the FCC's website created enough traffic to break the site. That's right, everyone, John Oliver's call to action broke a government website.

So, thank you, John Oliver, for teaching us about the dangers of net neutrality — and for creating the first useful (and quite comical in itself) uprising of internet trolls everywhere. There has been no shortage of hilarious tweets taking jabs at the FCC for receiving a taste of their own medicine. So far, it seems to be the gift that keeps on giving.

Katy Perry plans to write music about John Mayer

Katy Perry recently joined the growing list of John Mayer's exes, and it looks like she may also soon join the club of those who have written about him. Although she seems to be doing fine after the breakup, she admits some music about their relationship (or breakup) is probably inevitable.

John Mayer's exes moved on to better things — should Katy Perry? >>

"I know it sounds really hippie-s***, but I'm living in the now and not fantasizing about the future or [being] torn up about the past. I have a lot of respect for [John] still, and I know it goes both ways," she told Cosmopolitan (via E! News). "There's no bad blood, but I'm sure there will be inspired songs."

Although Mayer has been written about before, he hasn't really enjoyed it. After Taylor Swift released her song "Dear John," which didn't make Mayer seem like a good boyfriend (to put it nicely), he responded, "As a songwriter, I think it's kind of cheap songwriting. I know she's the biggest thing in the world, and I'm not trying to sink anybody's ship, but I think it's abusing your talent to rub your hands together and go, 'Wait till he gets a load of this!' That's bulls***."

Perry seems slightly less bitter than Swift, but her music may tell a different story.

In Cosmo's July issue, Perry talks about Mayer, ex-boyfriend Travie McCoy and ex-husband Russell Brand, joking that, "I guess I happen to be attracted to high-frequency men.

John Mayer admits to being a big jerk to ex-girlfriends >>

"It feels like a hundred lifetimes ago, so it's like digging up an old grave," Perry said, speaking of her marriage to Brand. "A lot of therapy has happened and a lot of understanding and growth. Sometimes you have to go through all this s*** to get your grips on life and figure out what the next boundaries in your love life are going to be. You have to go through the mud in order to find that peaceful place. In the long run, it was necessary for me to have more of a teammate."

Katy Perry admits to Cosmo that she is now married to her music. Her nationwide tour continues until October.

POLL: Will Robert Pattinson ruin the Indiana Jones franchise?

While Robert Pattinson was awesome as a brooding vampire in Twilight, it is somewhat questionable if the handsome Brit would be a good fit to play Indiana Jones. But, if we are to believe the new (and unlikely) rumors, that is exactly what he is set to do.

A new report from the Daily Star, a British tabloid, claims that Disney is seriously considering Pattinson to take over Harrison Ford's role their new Indiana Jones franchise. However, Gawker is highly doubting this as a valid rumor and thinks the vitriol it could bring if true would be beyond imaginable.

Robert Pattinson: "I have to prove certain things" >>

Here is what the Daily Star had to say about the odd news: "Disney is looking at its long-term options for the Indiana Jones franchise," an LA insider supposedly claimed. "They feel that the series has huge potential on many levels, starting with the films leading to other spin-offs like games which can generate more money than movies. Rob is top of the initial list because he has showed his acting stripes away from Twilight."

Huh? Robert Pattinson defends Justin Bieber >>

While this is a huge rumor and most likely untrue, fans can be sure that there will certainly be an Indiana Jones remake eventually. Disney did buy the rights to the franchise from Paramount, in much the same way they bought the Star Wars name with Lucasfilm.

But, as rumors go, many preferred the one where Bradley Cooper was destined to become the lovable, stubbled adventurer. While Pattinson is good-looking enough to play the part, he may lack the charming cockiness and true American grit that comes with being Indiana Jones.

However, Twilight fans all over may think he's just the right man for the job, and if he were to get the part, Pattinson could just surprise everyone and pull it off.

Queen Elizabeth arrived at the state opening of Parliament in style today, riding in a new carriage that celebrates 1000 years of British history.

The Diamond Jubilee state coach took 10 years to build and is only the second new carriage obtained by the royal family in the last century. Encrusted with jewels, including diamond-and-sapphire-covered door handles, the inside paneling contains slivers of wood from Captain Robert Falcon Scott's Antarctic sled, Sir Isaac Newton's apple tree, Hut Six at code-breaking center Bletchley Park, one of Sir Edmund Hillary's Everest ladders and the beams of most of the commonwealth's great cathedrals, as well as several royal residences dating back centuries.

Capped with a crown made from the timbers of the HMS Victory, the lavish display also contains the royal website's "coachcam," giving a queen's-eye view of the roadway.

"I wanted to make something in honor of Her Majesty's great reign and something which represents our extraordinary history," Australian coach maker Jim Frecklington told the Daily Mail. "I wanted something every family in the land can relate to."

"I wanted to create something very special to mark the queen's reign," Frecklington told The Mirror. "Our present queen will go down in history as one of the greatest monarchs that's ever lived, and I thought something very special — a tangible item — should be produced."

Before anyone cried foul that too much taxpayer money must have been wasted on such a lavish display of wealth, rest assured that not a penny came out of the public pocket. Frecklington paid most of the upfront costs himself, and the Royal Collection Trust procured it with funds from a private donation.

Creamy, no-bake piña colada pie is a party in your mouth

Creamy pina colada pie recipe

If you love the tropical flavors of a piña colada, then this pie will be your new favorite dessert. Pineapple, coconut and rum extract give this sweet slice of pie a deliciously tropical flavor, and since it's no-bake, you won't have to heat up the kitchen. I used rum extract in this version so that everyone could enjoy this pie. However, you can certainly add in a shot or two of the real stuff if you desire.

Creamy pina colada pie recipe

Creamy piña colada pie recipe

Serves 8

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup pineapple nectar or juice
  • 1 cup canned coconut milk
  • 1 tablespoon rum extract, divided
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) box instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 2 cups whipped cream, divided
  • 1 (9-inch) premade or homemade pie crust
  • 1/4 cup shredded coconut, toasted
  • Cherries for garnish (optional)
  • Fresh pineapple for garnish (optional)

Directions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the pineapple juice (or nectar), coconut milk, rum extract and the pudding mix. Blend on high using a hand mixer until the filling is smooth and creamy and there are no lumps.
  2. Using a spatula, fold 1 cup of the whipped cream into the pineapple mixture, and spoon the filling into the pie crust. Using a pastry bag with a star tip, pipe the remaining whipped cream on top of the pie (or spread the remaining whipped cream over the top), and sprinkle with toasted coconut.
  3. Place the pie in the refrigerator for several hours to allow the filling to firm up.
  4. When ready to serve, cut the pie into slices. Garnish with cherries, fresh pineapple and extra shredded coconut, if desired.

Tip: To make this a boozy version, simply reduce the pineapple juice to 3/4 cup and add in 2 shots of rum.

Hemlock Grove Season 2 - Madeleine Martin as Shelley

Photo Credit: Brooke Palmer for Netflix

If you watched the first season of Hemlock Grove, chances are you were either intrigued by Shelley or perhaps slightly annoyed by her. Opinions can go either way, depending on how much you enjoy a good mystery and how much you wished they would have just explained what the heck she was.

Hemlock Grove recap: Season 1 is worth the watch >>

As the sister of the mysterious Roman, Shelley was quite the enigma herself. Though she was mute, she appeared to be intelligent beyond her years. Though she was a formidable size, she was as gentle a kitten and meekly followed her mother's wishes. She was disfigured, but her skin had a luminescent quality that literally made her glow from within.

When last we saw Shelley at the end of Season 1, she had been gravely wounded and was seen running off into the woods. Her fate was left up to speculation, though it was an easy guess to assume that she would return.

And return she has, even if she doesn't look quite the same. Netflix has released a new photo from Season 2 featuring Madeleine Martin in the role of Shelley. Nicole Boivin played Shelley in the first season.

Catch up on Hemlock Grove with our Season 1 primer >>

In addition to a new Shelley, Hemlock Grove also has a new executive producer/showrunner, Charles "Chic" Eglee.

Eglee spoke to Huffington Post Canada about the decision to cast a new actress in the role. "The thing is, last year, Shelley as a character was kind of an amalgamation of various production strategies," Eglee explained. "Some of it was a stand-in, and some of it was a 7-foot double; there was the voiceover narration, and it was a little bit ad hoc in the sense that the execution of that Shelley character on a week-to-week basis was on the fly in terms of the effects, how they were actually filming, how they were creating the character."

One way to simplify the process was to find one actress to replace all of the various people who filled the role in Season 1. "It seems to me that this is such an important character, and so iconic and central in so many ways to the chemistry of the show. So we set out looking to go and get really the best actress we could find," Eglee said.

Justin Bieber racism row: "Hardest thing I've ever dealt with"

Justin Bieber

Justin Bieber has been on a slow burn toward self-destruction for a while now, but his latest controversy might be the final nail in the coffin of his career — unless he can actually own his racist statements in a meaningful way.

The "Baby" singer has issued yet another statement on the scandal following the release of a video showing him changing the lyrics to his hit "One Less Lonely Girl" to "One Less Lonely N*****," and he says for once he won't make a big joke about his jerkiness.

"Facing my mistakes from years ago has been one of the hardest things I've ever dealt with," he told The Sun. "But I feel now that I need to take responsibility for those mistakes and not let them linger. At the end of the day, I just need to step up and own what I did."

Bieber previously released an apology, which read, "I'm very sorry. I take my friendships with people of all cultures very seriously and apologize for offending or hurting anyone with my childish and inexcusable mistake. I was a kid then and I am a man now who knows my responsibility to the world and to not make that mistake again."

Justin Bieber responds to racism scandal with Bible passage >>

Is being a kid an excuse for such atrocious behavior? Russell Brand says yes. He defended the Biebs on his daily video show The Trews, saying, "It was ages ago when he used to have that haircut. You can't do him for stuff he [has] done when he had that haircut."

"Unless we're going to explicitly say the role of celebrities is we're going to make them really, really famous and then we're going to destroy them and rip them up in a public square with fish hooks, which, you know as long as you don't get round to me, I'm not against," the comedian added.

"But we might as well own up to it if that is what we're up to, otherwise just let him off. Of course, it's wrong to say the N-word, but he's a child."

5 Simple foods to increase breast milk supply

1

Oats

Doctors and midwives have been recommending oats for lactating mothers for years. It's believed to positively affect the hormones that affect milk supply. You can use oats as a binder in everything from cookies to meatloaf, but the easiest way to get your oats is a nice hot bowl of oatmeal. Even the simple act of sitting down to eat a bowl of oatmeal can help a nursing mother relax and allow the release of oxytocin.

2

Flaxseed

Flaxseed contains phytoestrogens, a plant-based compound that can mildly mimic estrogen. Phytoestrogens are believed to have potential in helping to protect against a variety of health disorders. In addition to flaxseed's lactogenic properties, they are great source of fiber, another important need for nursing mothers. For the greatest health benefit (and financial savings), buy whole flaxseed and grind it as needed in a blender or coffee grinder. You can stir in into oatmeal or smoothies, bake it into cookies or muffins and even sprinkle whole seeds onto salads or yogurt.

Blueberry and banana smoothie with flaxseed >>

3

Brewer's yeast

Both brewer's yeast and nutritional yeast are incredible nutritional supplements full of B vitamins, iron, protein, and several minerals. While brewer's yeast is the most commonly recommended for increased milk supply, nutritional yeast can be substituted in a pinch. The yeast has a slight cheese taste so try sprinkling it on foods that would pair well with cheese, like eggs, tacos and pasta. You can also use it in small amounts in baking or smoothies.

Arugula almond pesto >>

4

Chickpeas

Legumes like chickpeas are a popular choice for breastfeeding mothers. Chickpeas (or garbanzo beans) are a complete protein and have been used as a galactagogue for thousands of years. You can keep canned chickpeas on hand, or easily cook dried chickpeas in the crockpot. They're an easy addition to soups and salads, but they're especially fun to eat as hummus. Hummus is full of garlic (another galactagogue) and olive oil (a healthy fat) and makes the perfect snack for a breastfeeding mom when paired with some carrot or cucumber sticks.

5

Almonds

Almonds are an easy snack for a quick dose of protein and healthy fat. Almonds are calcium rich and can be eaten whole, or even turned into almond milk. Try adding sliced almonds to salads, baking slivered almonds into cookies or muffins or just keeping whole nuts in a bowl nearby for snacking.

Food poisoning could actually be norovirus from sick food workers

$

Waitress bringing food

Photo credit: Kali Nine LLC/iStock/360/Getty Images

The report released by the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) says that many cases of food poisoning are instead actually a stomach virus that you likely picked up from the unwashed hands of the restaurant worker that prepared your food.

This distressing and painful illness is most often caused by a particular virus called norovirus. It is easily spread because the virus is hardy and can live on surfaces for days (or even weeks) and isn't all that bothered by many hand sanitizers or disinfectants.

Norovirus is spread when an infected individual defecates or vomits. If the virus doesn't get washed off thoroughly with soap and water, it can be transferred to its next victim. So, if you've picked up a stomach bug, you've essentially eaten someone else's poop or puke.

Gross.

What needs to be done?

The first instinct for many is to stop eating out (and for that I can't blame you), but what we probably need to focus on are different issues. For starters, employees need to be thoroughly trained on proper hand washing techniques (a thorough scrub with soap and water for a minimum of 20 seconds) and there needs to be less reliance on hand sanitizers. The CDC reports that when food service employees were observed, they only practice proper hand washing techniques 25 percent of the time so this area needs a massive improvement.

The other important issue that the food service industry is plagued with is that many workers in the restaurant industry work when they're sick. A lack of paid sick time is a huge factor in this, and many workers also don't want to put undue strain on their co-workers by being absent.

The CDC recommends that sick employees stay home at least 48 hours after symptoms cease to curb transmission as well, which means that workers could miss at least three days of work if they fall sick in the middle of their workweek. Restaurant staff is also recommended to have an on-call bank of employees to draw from in case of staff shortage.

While this topic is frankly disgusting, it's important because it's something that can potentially affect many of us. More awareness is key and if you don't feel like eating out much after reading this, you still need to make sure you wash your own hands well even after shopping for groceries. You just never know what's lurking on the food you buy and the money you exchange with others.

Imagine: You're free from your horrible husband for the first time in years. You're given an all-expenses-paid trip to a mysterious place known as The House. You have the key, and when you arrive, there is a note above the door: "All is forgiven, all is forgotten." What do you do?

So begins Cassie Alexander's amazingly sensual adult version of your favorite childhood game. We all remember the Choose Your Own Adventure series, right? Slight difference here. In the childhood version, you usually died at the end and had to start over. In Alexander's The House, you end up shagged-out and panting for more.

Choose your own erotica!

Alexander is best known for her Edie Spence urban fantasy series, although she was a big fan of Choose Your Own Adventure as a kid. The idea for The House came from friend Gemma Depolo.

5 Reason why Lick is not your typical erotica novel >>

"We were at a baby shower together," says Alexander, "And she knows that I write. Gemma said she'd always been interested in writing a Choose Your Own Adventure erotica novel. I loved the idea immediately and asked for her permission to use it. By the end of the shower, I had a character, a premise and a plan."

Thank goodness for the horrible boredom of baby showers.

The House is in eBook format for ease of access. As you read, you have the opportunity to click a link to follow your fantasy to the next level — and your choices are varied and not for the faint of heart.

Top 6 most sexually charged excerpts from erotica books >>

Alexander says, "I set out to write a book where someone who was open-minded could hop to any page and have a good time in situations they might never have even thought of before. I hope that it's a little eyebrow-raising, intriguing and that parts of it really turn people on."

Indeed! There is dude on dude action you can watch or take part in. There's bondage (you choose dom or sub). There's one part where you can be seduced by a mermaid. Oh, and how could I forget the Dionysian orgy?

The House is all about you — what you want, when you want it, how you want it. You have your run of the place from dusk till dawn, under the watchful eye of the butler. You've been invited to The House by the Master, but will you meet him? Only if you choose the right door.

Fairy-tale erotica: 6 Must-read fairy tales-turned-porn >>

Alexander hopes women see The House as a "sex-positive guilty pleasure." She says, "It's so hard to carve time out of your life for yourself as it is, and trying new things in real life can be difficult. We all deserve more sex in our lives and more opportunities to feel sexual."

And it's so true. When was the last time you took a bath by candlelight? When was the last time you took real time for seduction? As women, we're all rush-rush. We have jobs, social events, dinners and still need time to do the freaking laundry. The House allows some much-needed escape.

In The House, you ask the butler, "Why me?" Why were you chosen to be mistress of the manor for a night? His response: "Why not you?" Delve into your deepest fantasies in a modern, seductive and creative way with Cassie Alexander and her seriously adult take on a classic literary form.

Disney responds to call for more Princess Leia toys

Fans of the Star Wars franchise were disappointed to learn that there would be no Princess Leia toys sold at Disney Stores. A hashtag was born, and #WeWantLeia seems to have worked wonders — the company now says that they're planning to roll out Princess Leia merchandise.

Toys for girls, toys for boys

Toys don't need to be specifically meant for a specific gender, but it is so important for little girls to have strong female characters represented in the media they consume. Princess Leia may be one of the best at that, as she is strong, strong-willed and isn't afraid to speak her mind. She is also a natural leader. She is a favorite not only of girls but of boys as well, and her strength and courage is also admired by adults.

However, as Disney has now taken over ownership of the Star Wars franchise, fans were wondering why there weren't more Leia items in their stores. Sure, there was plenty of Jedi paraphernalia, but no Leia, and a planned action figure pack notably omitted the princess.

When questioned, the Disney Store told a fan on Twitter that there were no plans to introduce Princess Leia into its lineup.

Well, that was no good — in fact, it was head-scratching and mystifying. Why exclude the most popular female Star Wars character?

#WeWantLeia

A quick look at Twitter reveals that #WeWantLeia is as strong as ever. Pleas from parents of small fans along with grownup sci-fi fanatics combined with intelligent discussions of bloggers, and the social media pressure did something awesome. The company has announced (through an exclusive interview with TIME) that they are indeed planning to create Princess Leia merchandise.

Social media has amazing power behind it. Pressure from the public in the form of tweets, Facebook posts and blogging has changed the course of many events. For example, recently social media has pushed this child's story to what is now the most successful GoFundMe campaign (ever) for the betterment of not only one little girl but all other children who suffer from the same syndrome.

And even though bringing Princess Leia toys to Disney Stores might not save lives, it is still important that kids get to choose the toys they want to play with. While many girls love traditional princess play, plenty of girls also love science fiction (my daughters included) — and other girls love both. Expanding a toy line to include a favorite character (or to target scientific careers for females) is definitely a step in the right direction for the media in general. Good job, moms, dads and science fiction fans who pushed for Leia representation. My daughters will thank you.

Leonardo DiCaprio: Don't want to be on Kardashian show

The Kardashians may be famous all over, but Leonardo DiCaprio does not consider them to be worthy of his image on film for their show.

DiCaprio happened to be at XIV in Los Angeles at the same time that Keeping Up with the Kardashians was filming a scene at the celeb hot spot with Bruce Jenner and his son Brody Jenner on Sunday, June 1. The Kardashian men were there to celebrate Frankie Delgado's birthday and Brody served as DJ for the event.

World shocked as Leonardo DiCaprio loses to Josh Hutcherson >>

Brody's big brother, Brandon, also showed up, and the father and sons trio hung out at the DJ booth as the Keeping Up with the Kardashians crew filmed on. But, upon learning that cameras were rolling, DiCaprio wanted no part of it and asked he not be caught on camera.

DiCaprio is known for avoiding cameras when he's not shooting a film himself, but apparently, he especially did not want to be filmed for the notorious Kardashian family's reality series.

Who's hotter: Brad Pitt vs. Leonardo DiCaprio >>

"The organizers know how Leo feels about cameras, so they gave him a heads-up," an insider told Us Weekly. "He didn't want to be filmed for the show, he wouldn't have wanted to be filmed for anything... but especially not that one."

So, the Wolf of Wall Street star waited around until filming was done before joining the party. He "then went with some boys and had a great time."

Apparently, Page Six, who first reported the story, also claimed that Paris Hilton was at the party and didn't want to be filmed for her former best friend's reality show either.

Maks Chmerkovskiy, Meryl Davis reunited for dinner date

After their Dancing With the Stars victory two weeks ago, Maksim Chmerkovskiy and Meryl Davis got together again to go out to dinner earlier this week.

Maks Chmerkovskiy & Meryl Davis' love: Beyond romance >>

To share his joy at seeing Davis again, Chmerkovskiy posted a photo of the pair with their arms around each other and sporting big grins. The professional dancer also wrote a message along with the happy picture.

"All is right in the world again!" the caption read. "Got my long awaited hug!"

Both Davis and the Ukrainian hunk are elegantly dressed in the image, she in a formfitting black dress along with a silver clutch, while Chmerkovskiy is wearing a black suit and tie for the occasion.

On Monday, Us Weekly caught up with Chmerkovskiy at the Fred and Adele Astaire Awards in New York City, where he dished about his long-awaited win and relationship with Davis. "About our romance?" He teased when asked about his bond with the Olympic gold medalist skater.

Maksim Chmerkovskiy already apologizing on DWTS >>

"I love her. I love her! I love her as a person and for what she has allowed me to do with our choreography and how much she's embraced it..." the DWTS Season 18 champ gushed. "She's a brilliant person, and she's also very normal. I enjoyed my time with her. It was sad when the season was over."

However, Chmerkovskiy admitted that he and Davis often meet for dinner, with one such outing taking place on May 20, shortly after their Mirror Ball trophy win. Onlookers reported that the sweet duo were very "super touchy-feely," during their celebratory dinner and he "kept kissing her on the forehead and was doting on her."

But other than the photo posted by Chmerkovskiy of himself with Davis on Instagram, no other juicy details have been reported about their most recent dinner date.
