Emily Blunt jokes about breaking Tom Cruise's spirit

Filming Edge of Tomorrow with Tom Cruise had its expected difficulties, but Emily Blunt joked how she was finally able to break the always-positive and ready-to-go actor during an especially difficult scene.

While on Jimmy Kimmel Live Wednesday night, Blunt spilled on what it was like working on her new movie with Cruise. The actress explained how she "broke" her costar after spending most of their shooting time in heavy armored suits that weighed almost as much as she does.

Emily Blunt's $35,000 baby shopping spree >>

"We're hanging in these harnesses with the full weight of the 85-pound suit and your body weight on your groin, which is not fun," Blunt said. "We're just hanging there between takes, just waiting for them to get ready and re-light, and I looked at Tom and I can just see that insatiable positivity is now starting to unravel."

Blunt went on, "I just look at him and he's pouring with sweat. And I'm just hanging there and I say, 'This really sucks.' And he looked at me and he went, 'It's a challenge.' And I went, 'I said, Tom, it sucks!' And he went, 'All right fine, it sucks!' I broke him. I broke his spirit!'"

Edge of Tomorrow: Will this be any different than other Tom Cruise sci-fi films? >>

Not only that, but the new mom also revealed how she took Cruise out for their mutual pal Matt Damon's birthday in London one night. The group decided to go to a "kind of burlesque, stroke sex club" called The Box, which has a "kind of freak show, there's like weird things that go on that are supposed to make you cringe and run for your life."

Cruise is good friends with Damon and was really looking forward to celebrating with the Bourne Identity star. So when Blunt informed him that the outing was not going to be the nice, civilized dinner they originally planned on, the Mission Impossible actor became a bit uneasy.

"I emailed him and said, 'Tom, change of plan,'" Blunt told Kimmel. "'We're now going to go to this club called The Box,' and I said, 'Just wanted you to know, you may not feel comfortable with this, but it's kind of like a... sex club.' And he emailed back and said 'Jesus Christ!' and he went, 'Well, just don't let me walk out of there alone!'"

Pan-fried brandy chicken and potatoes with balsamic vinegar recipe

Brandy and balsamic vinegar work together to give this chicken and potato dish a delicious kick. Subtle but definitely good, it's a chicken recipe worth a try. If you have chicken and potato fanatics at home like I do, then arm yourself with the ingredients, and get your pan hot. Don't worry, no one will get drunk with the brandy you will be using. Most of it evaporates, while the little amount that remains only gives the flavor.

Panfried brandy chicken and potatoes with balsamic vinegar recipe

Serves 4

Ingredients:

  • 4 chicken thighs with skin
  • 2 garlic cloves, crushed in a garlic crusher or finely chopped
  • 1/3 cup plus 3 tablespoons brandy, divided
  • 1/8 cup plus 1 tablespoon balsamic vinegar, divided
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • 2 pounds potatoes, peeled and quartered
  • Olive oil
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4-6 fresh sage leaves, chopped

Directions:

  1. In a small bowl, prepare the marinade of 3 tablespoons of brandy, 1 tablespoon of balsamic vinegar, 1 garlic clove, salt and pepper.
  2. With a sharp knife, slash the chicken at the thickest part to let the marinade go through and to cook the meat well.
  3. In a bowl, mix together the chicken and the marinade. Leave for at least 2 hours.
  4. In a large pot over high heat, boil salted water. Once the water is boiling, cook the potatoes for about 12 minutes or until almost tender. Don't let them become too soft, because they will still cook in the saucepan. Drain, and set them aside.
  5. In a large saucepan with olive oil over medium heat, brown the chicken thighs on both sides. When they are cooked through, transfer them to a plate. Discard the excess olive oil, and pour in some more.
  6. In the same saucepan over medium heat, brown the potatoes. When they are brown, transfer them to a bowl or plate.
  7. Still in the same pan, pour the remaining brandy, balsamic vinegar and water.
  8. After 1 minute, sauté the remaining garlic clove, and then put the chicken and the potatoes back into the pan.
  9. Season with salt and pepper, and add the sage leaves.
  10. Over low-medium heat and covered, cook for about 15 minutes more, making sure the sauce doesn't evaporate. Add more oil and balsamic vinegar if needed.
  11. Serve hot.

Robin Thicke laying it on thick for Paula Patton

Robin Thicke hasn't given up yet. He's still trying to woo back his estranged wife Paula Patton after they separated in February.

To prove his point that he's changed and ready to be the husband that she needs, the "Blurred Lines" singer is continuing his public mea culpa campaign at Sunday's Billboard Music Awards. According to TMZ, he's going to sing a song dedicated to her.

Paula Patton on divorce: "There's a deep love there" >>

The single is called "Get Her Back" and the lyrics sure do point to Thicke's desire for reconciliation. He will sing, "All I wanna do is make it right," as well as lines like "I gotta get her, go get her back. I gotta treat her right. I gotta cherish her for life." If those lines don't work, perhaps lyrics like, "I should've kissed you longer. I should've held you stronger. And I'll wait for forever for you," will help his case out.

The musician has been trying hard for months to get back in the Baggage Claim star's good graces after his alleged infidelity. She hasn't budged so far, but maybe this time it will work.

Robin Thicke: Paula Patton and I are both very happy >>

The only thing she has said about her marriage is a brief quote to Vanity Fair. Patton shared, "We've known each other since we were teenagers. All I can tell you is there's a deep love there — always was, and always will be."

It remains to be seen where this relationship will go, but it's clear Thicke still has his tail between his legs.

Beyoncé, Jay Z & Solange speak out on that elevator ride

It was just a little family spat, y'all. Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange Knowles broke their silence on that little elevator kung fu match after the Met Ball, and they want us to know it was nothing more than a little brotherly-sisterly spat.

The trio said in a statement that basically Jay Z and Solange were annoying each other all night and now they're over it. Beyoncé and her halo remain, as ever, above the fray.

"As a result of the public release of the elevator security footage from Monday, May 5th, there has been a great deal of speculation about what triggered the unfortunate incident. But the most important thing is that our family has worked through it," they said in an exclusive statement to The Associated Press Thursday. "Jay and Solange each assume their share of responsibility for what has occurred. They both acknowledge their role in this private matter that has played out in the public. They both have apologized to each other and we have moved forward as a united family.

Beyoncé & Jay Z lead 2014 BET Award nominations >>

"The reports of Solange being intoxicated or displaying erratic behavior throughout that evening are simply false," the statement continued. "At the end of the day families have problems and we're no different. We love each other and above all we are family. We've put this behind us and hope everyone else will do the same."

The sisters' social media moves have been subject to intense scrutiny for the last several days, with every photo deleted or added said to be another clue in the puzzle of what happened to make Solange mad enough to try to kick Hova in the man jewels in that elevator. The last straw in the rumor mill to get the trio to issue a statement at all may have been the speculation that Bey was having her wedding ring tattoo lasered off.

It seems like this is just your run-of-the-mill family drama, and we'll probably never know #WhatJayZSaidToSolange. At least we got some good memes out of it.

The internet was positively beside itself when a cat saved her boy from becoming a dog's human Beggin' Strip yesterday. But we can all just settle down. Because this is not the first time a cat has opened up a can of whoop-ass on its predatory superiors. In fact, the mayor might as well just give cats an honorary key to the city, because they are all like Flash Gordon covered in fur. Don't believe me?

Sometimes, it takes the right project to get someone back to Broadway. That's exactly what is happening with Glenn Close, who will hit the Great White Way later this year.

She will star in the revival of the Edward Albee play, A Delicate Balance. Close will be joined by former 3rd Rock from the Sun star, John Lithgow.

Kristin Chenoweth: Back on Broadway >>

The show follows a married couple who is struggling to deal with the return of their 36-year-old daughter, played by Martha Plimpton, who is in the midst of her fourth divorce. To add to the chaos, the family also has friends and an alcoholic family member visiting from out of town.

The last time theatergoers saw the 67-year-old star on Broadway was in 1994 during her tumultuous run as Norma Desmond in the musical, Sunset Boulevard. Even though she won the Tony Award for her portrayal, she feuded with producer, Andrew Lloyd Webber, and left the production on a sour note.

Idina Menzel wants to star in Frozen on Broadway >>

The Fatal Attraction actress also has two other Tonys on her shelf for Death and the Maiden in 1992 and The Real Thing back in 1984.

The Pulitzer Prize-winning play will run for an 18-week engagement only. Previews begin on Oct. 20 and the official opening night will be one month later.

The 2014-15 Broadway season is going to be filled with Hollywood celebrities exercising their acting chops. Besides Close and Lithgow, Kristin Chenoweth, Michael Cera, James Earl Jones and Matthew Broderick are all scheduled to appear in shows for next season.

Welcome back to Broadway, Glenn!

Kimye wedding scheduled for May 24 in Italy, not France

An inside source is claiming that the much-anticipated Kim Kardashian/Kanye West wedding has not taken place yet, but will be held in Florence, Italy, on May 24, according to Entertainment Tonight.

Kim Kardashian pulls vacation pics from Google Images >>

There's been a whole bunch of speculation swirling around the pending union of Kimye as of late. Is their wedding going to be gargantuan? Will it be televised? Will the ceremony be in France? Are they already married? Though Kardashian took to Twitter earlier this week to squash most of these rumors, the source supposedly very close to the couple has confirmed that one bit of gossip isn't totally off-base. While the ceremony itself will not be taking place in France, the couple will be holding a dinner in Paris right before the nuptials, and then will fly all of their guests to Florence on private planes to watch them seal the deal.

Kardashian felt the urge to set the record straight last week regarding the misinformation that had been flying around the internet, and she firmly let the world know that she is not yet married and her guest list does not have 1,600 people on it. The ceremony will be "intimate," contrary to media reports. The appearance of her dress is also still under lock and key, and the middle Kardashian sister claims that all photos making the rounds on the internet are either very old or Photoshopped.

While we are still wondering what kind of gorgeous frock Kardashian will be wearing to her lavish affair, we do know one thing: Victoria Beckham will not be designing it. "Kim was desperate to wear a VB dress for her big day but Victoria deals with the very A-list of the showbiz world, including royals, and doesn't want to get dragged into the world of reality stars," a Daily Star inside source said. Ouch.

While the Keeping Up with the Kardashians star may not be ready to debut her gown, she was certainly up for revealing her killer pre-wedding abs. Kardashian posted an Instagram collage showing off her bod post-workout, revealing a flat tummy and just a bit of under-boob. Looks like this mama is ready to don her honeymoon bikini.

Is it possible that Kimye is creating all these nuggets of gossip to throw the media off-track? Or is this wedding source the real deal?

VIDEO: Andrew Garfield puts on a dress for Arcade Fire's "We Exist"

0

Music fans at Coachella might have been thought they were the only people privy to seeing Andrew Garfield in drag at the Arcade Fire show (assuming they realized it was him), but now the whole world is getting a peek at the festival look and more. That's right: Garfield goes drag for Arcade Fire's new video, "We Exist." It's... fabulous?

Bad/Good news? Noel Gallagher hates Arcade Fire (among others) >>

The video starts with a sad-looking Garfield standing in front of the mirror, shaving off his gorgeous floppy locks. Of course we immediately wondered, "Oh, God! This isn't a cancer video is it? We can't handle that today." We quickly realized that probably wasn't the case, though, when Garfield shimmied into a pretty black bra, blond wig and went through multiple clothing options.

Despite his thin frame and sweet British accent, we've never looked at Andrew Garfield and thought, "Huh. I bet he'd make a pretty girl." In fact, he's not a very pretty girl at all, but we love him just the same. He is, however, still gorgeous as a blond. And, yeah, that gentleman can seriously rock the cutoffs. Like, we're jealous.

MUSIC VIDEO: Kristen Stewart makes her directorial debut >>

After settling on a cowboy shirt to go with his cut-off shorts, Garfield hits a honky-tonk bar and we know what's coming. Despite the two burly dudes dancing closely on the dance floor, nothing about this place seems like a good idea for a skinny man in a long blond wig. Sure enough, one man's advances turn into a handful of men pushing around the cross-dressing Garfield (from here on out known as Andrea).

Somehow, though, Andrea makes it past the taunting rednecks and onto a dance floor of her own. When he/she gets a little Footloose on us, it's actually surprisingly good. She really shows us that proper English gentlewomen still know how to get down. Her set of choreography is answered back by moves from a few more manly dudes in tied-up shirts and cutoffs. It's humorous but a little weird: That one guy definitely looks like our dad. Then, as they walk around Andrea, we're convinced she didn't pass their dance test and will be kicked out of their secret gay lumberjack alliance. It turns out, though, they're just going to pull back a curtain. So, her dance moves were like a secret password into a world of acceptance?

Review: Eminem's "Headlights" video makes us sniffle >>

It turns out those burly bouncers were more like roadies and that "world of acceptance" was an Arcade Fire show. After making her way onto the stage with Win Butler and the gang, everything changes for Andrea. Not only is she accepted by the band, but an entire crowd cheers her on as she dances to the music.

We get it. "We Exist" is for all the people on the fringe of "normal" life that people ignore or chastise for not accepting a miserable life in the middle. Arcade Fire did a fantastic job of taking a message that could have preachy and been-there-done-that and turned it into something fresh and new. People are, of course, talking about Garfield in drag. But, you can't talk about the how and why of his dressing up without also discussing the message. And it's a good message.

We exist. And we know you exist. And we love you... even if you look worse than Andrew Garfield in drag. (We're convinced it's just his eyebrows, though.)

Non-celiac gluten sensitivity debunked — new theory arises

Potential good news for bread… and bread lovers.

Peter Gibson, a professor and director of gastroenterology at The Alfred and Monash University in Australia followed up his 2011 study that found diets with gluten can cause gastrointestinal distress in people without celiac disease. He dubbed the condition "non-celiac gluten sensitivity." (Then Dr. Oz talked about it, and it seemed as if everyone knew about it.)

But Gibson wasn’t satisfied with those results, because gluten is a protein found in any normal diet. He wondered why gluten seemed to cause a reaction in non-celiac patients, and if there was another culprit.

That spurred his recent research, which involved feeding 37 people a diet free of potential dietary triggers for gastrointestinal symptoms such as lactose, and certain fermentable, poorly absorbed short-chain carbohydrates. Then for nine days, he collected participants’ personal waste.

Without knowing which diet they were on — high-gluten, low-gluten and non-gluten diets — participants noticed that they experienced pain, bloating, nausea and gas.

"In contrast to our first study … we could find absolutely no specific response to gluten," Gibson said. Another study published this month confirmed the findings.

The self-diagnosed gluten sensitive patients expected to feel worse on the study diets, so they did. They were also likely more attentive to any intestinal anguish because they monitored it for the study.

Gibson said that FODMAPs, the short-chain carbohydrates, disaccharides, monosaccharides and related alcohols, that were not well absorbed in the small intestine may be what’s causing the symptoms that people dub as gluten sensitivity. FODMAPs are commonly found in the same foods that contain gluten, but it still fails to explain why people in the study negatively reacted to diets that were free of all dietary triggers.

It doesn’t lead to any definitive conclusions, but it brings us one step closer to understanding what gluten does — and doesn’t — do in our bodies.

VIDEO: Jennifer Lawrence & Jimmy Fallon are lying liars

Who knew guessing about what's in a box would be so darn funny? Well, at least it is when Jennifer Lawrence and Jimmy Fallon participate in a game of Box of Lies.

During Lawrence's visit to The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the actress and host sat down to stump each other about the contents of a mystery box. The trick is to tell the opponent what's in the box, but they could be lying about what's inside. If they guess right whether the other person is telling the truth or not they get a point.

Drake shows Jennifer Lawrence some love on new song >>

So, the first round had Lawrence tell Fallon that she had a Rubik's cube inside a mound of Jell-O, which was actually true. "Inside my box is a very curious thing..." Lawrence started. Then, after some funny face-making and hilarious staring, the X-Men: Days of Future Past star said, "It is a Rubik's cube inside Jell-O!"

"You lie!" Fallon said after he stared at his opponent with an overly serious face. "I tell truth!" Lawrence quipped.

Jennifer Lawrence: Changed by fame or same old girl? >>

Next, Fallon won a point after Lawrence failed to guess he was lying about a Jesse doll from Full House inside a box full of Hershey's Kisses. It was all true except Fallon said it was one of the Backstreet Boys in the box.

In the end, Fallon got another point when he guessed Lawrence was lying about a "miniature horse on a bed of Flintstone vitamins," which was really an egg roll inside a bird's nest. After the actress smelled it and reiterated the contents, Fallon became suspicious.

VIDEO: Jimmy Fallon & Billy Joel's high-tech dude duet >>

"You smelled it and you could smell that it's a Flintstone vitamin?" The funny late-night host sneered.

"Yes," Lawrence said unconvincingly as she tried to make an honest face that was not working to her advantage. "You lie!" Fallon guessed correctly, thus winning the game.

Philip Seymour Hoffman won't be CGI'd into Hunger Games

Since the death of Philip Seymour Hoffman back in February, Hunger Games fans have been wondering how his role of Plutarch Heavensbee would be portrayed in the last two films. There has been talk they may superimpose him as CGI, and director Francis Lawrence is finally opening up about Hoffman's role.

PHOTOS: Here's the first look at The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 >>

Hoffman first played the Head Gamemaker in The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, and completed many of his scenes for both Mockingjay — Part 1 and Mockingjay — Part 2. Lawrence did an interview with The Hunger Games Exclusive and explained Hoffman's role, and how they would complete the films without him.

"We finished the majority of his work," said Lawrence. "I think he might have had eight to 10 days left on our schedule.”

Although the most important parts of his role were completed, Lawrence explains they have been left with the challenge of figuring out how to put him in the necessary scenes they hadn't yet filmed.

"In most of those scenes, Phil didn't have any dialogue," he explained. "We are going to put him into those scenes, but we're only using real footage. We're not creating anything digital or a robotic version of him."

The Hunger Games cast: "Our hearts are breaking" >>

The Hollywood Reporter learned earlier this year that Hoffman had not yet filmed one major scene, but it's not clear which one, or how the story will change with his death.

With the films' need to follow the books, they have been left with the challenge of telling the story without changing the content — much. Producer Nina Jacobson explained they may also be giving lines to a different character, "but only in circumstances that we are able to do that without undermining the intent of the scene."

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1 will be in theaters Nov. 21.

Here's the Davenport graduation backflip disaster for your graduation disaster reference.

The high heels debacle

A cautionary tale to all of us who like to dabble in extreme shoes, this poor graduate in killer heels keeps falling… and falling… and falling. It's the fall that will not end. It's the fall that begs to become a viral gif. It's the fall that you never want to have, and it occurred on camera at graduation. Poor girl.

The cartwheel crash and burn

Every time we watch this we think, "No! Don't do it! Don't try for that cartwheel down the graduation steps!" Why can't we look away? Why don't we want to look away?

The dance-it-out mistake

Dancing after you get your diploma sounds fun, right? Cute? A great way to end your time at school and showcase your personality? Think again. Oh, think again.

The trip and fall… all the way down the stairs

Sure, people have been falling at graduations since the beginning of graduations (and maybe since the dawn of time), but this trip and fall down the stairs is on another level of awkward and pain. Ow! Wow! That looks like it hurts.

The on-purpose fail

This guy got his degree in performance voice, and as his final adieu to school, he entertained everyone at the graduation ceremony with a spectacular face plant. It's perfect, and it's worth watching again and again.

Talk about kicking off the weekend with a bang. Congratulations are in order to Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett, who welcomed a baby girl on Friday, May 16, marking the couple's second child.

According to a report by TMZ, the reality star gave birth to the little girl via C-section at Cedars-Sinai in Los Angeles. Despite the duo's intent to share the private moment with viewers for their upcoming WE reality show, cameras were turned away by hospital employees. The couple reportedly asked for a deluxe suite, but was rejected because another wealthy patient locked down the area.

Baskett spoke to US Weekly about the birth of his second child, telling the outlet that he is "so happy" for the recent addition to his family. Not only is the baby "healthy with all 10 fingers and all 10 toes," but he says wife Kendra "did an amazing job." This marks the couple's second child after their 4-year-old son Hank IV, who was born in 2009.

News of the baby's birth is surprising, especially for those who follow Wilkinson on Twitter. Just hours before TMZ reported on the birth, she took to Twitter to tease the big news.

Back in December 2013, Wilkinson spoke all about her plans for her mini-me to OK! Magazine, telling the outlet that she wanted the nursery to reflect the couple's active lifestyle. "I don't want her to feel like she has to be trapped in a girly-girl bubble," she explained. "We are going for unisex colors, like yellow and cream, and a unisex name. I am putting basketball shorts on her. Of course we are going to introduce her to princesses, but if she turns out girly, it will be her decision."

Send your congratulations to Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett in the comments below.

Carrie Fisher lost 35 pounds for Star Wars: Episode VII role

An entire generation of teen boys remembers Princess Leia in her golden metal bikini in Return of the Jedi, and the filmmakers in charge of Star Wars: Episode VII apparently wanted to keep that image fresh with the newest film.

Lucasfilm announces big news for Star Wars: Episode VII >>

Carrie Fisher, who played Princess Leia in the original three films, said she had to lose a significant amount of weight if she wanted her role.

"They didn't hire me, they hired me minus 35 pounds," she said at an event in Los Angeles, according to The Daily Mail.

Fisher has struggled with her weight for years, and was even a spokesperson for Jenny Craig. Her mom Debbie Reynolds was at the same event, and agreed with her daughter, saying, "She worked her body off for one year to not have a body.

"She's been on a diet ever since, because you know they have to be up to par, so she looks terrific," Reynolds added. "She's very excited, as we all are, because we all love Star Wars."

It was announced back in April that original stars Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher were all back on board for the newest films. But Fisher said it wasn't director J.J. Abrams who asked her to come back as Princess Leia, but rather George Lucas.

"Did George personally ask me? Yes, he did," she said.

She also said she had "a wonderful time" getting back on set in London.

But the actress isn't going to risk the opportunity by sharing any information about the new films. Reynolds said, "She was very good to come tonight and to do press and come here for her mother, and I knew she would be in trouble and everyone would ask about Star Wars. Is she going to talk about it? No, she's not allowed to."

Star Wars: Episode VII is expected out on Dec. 18, 2015.

DIY string art is on the rise, and I'm convinced part of its popularity is due to this fabulous art project by Dina from Honey & Fitz. There are tons of string art projects you can find on Pinterest, but this one with the rainbow colors is probably one of the most pinned out there.

Minimalists will appreciate the subtle qualities of this wall sculpture made of natural wood. To create the piece, the artist made 100 cuts and sanded each block. The blocks were arranged in a way that makes the simplicity of the piece stand out.

Sheryl Sandberg says one thing will abolish the gender gap in leadership roles

"I'm going to ask you to do something for me, no cheating," Sheryl Sandberg says to a group of women on Levo League's Office Hours. "I want to know if you've ever said the following sentence out loud. You have to have said it out loud to another human being. Not like your dog. Another actual human being. 'I'm going to be CEO of the company I work for.' I want you to stand up if you've said that sentence out loud."

A few women stand up, cautiously. Everyone else stays seated.

Sheryl continues, "I'm going to give every single one of you not encouragement, but permission to stand up next time that question is asked."

Sheryl points out that this type of hesitancy from women is quite common and needs to be addressed. Men say "yes" to leadership opportunities more than women do, and this creates a leadership ambition gap.

In order for this gap and the world to change, women need to stand up and say "yes."

Our favorite quotes

"We will not close the leadership gap until we close the leadership ambition gap."

"If we get more women into leadership roles, we will no longer have the stereotype which associates leaders with men. If this changes, it changes with your generation. So, stand up. Stand up for that one thing you are going to do."

"Pretend to have self-confidence you don’t yet feel, because by reaching for those opportunities, you will prove to yourself that you can do it."

"When people are too focused on moving up at the expense of all else, we miss opportunities. Be willing to move sideways and even down to get more experience."

"Think about what you would do if you weren’t afraid. Think about leading, because when you lead, you get to change things. And I am really excited to see the type of world this amazing group of women can build."

Not one to boast about her private life, Amanda Seyfried finally gave away some intel on her relationship with boyfriend Justin Long.

Sitting down with Ellen DeGeneres, Seyfried revealed how she and Long lead pretty uneventful lives together that are comprised of making green drinks and watching reality dating shows. "We walk my dog, we make these smoothies in the morning that are called greenies. He got me into that, super-healthy. And, we watch... The Bachelor," The Les Misérables star admitted.

Amanda Seyfried proves security risk with Swiss Army knife >>

DeGeneres was curious whether Seyfried and her guy also watched The Bachelorette, or if they just stuck to the original Bachelor series only. "Oh no, we watch them... all of them," and added that the reason she loves the shows is because they are such a "train wreck."

But, apparently the 28-year-old actress has another connection to the hit romance reality series. She revealed that her best friend is actually marrying Constantine Tzortzis, who was a contestant in Ashley Hebert's season. Not only that, but she will actually be going to the wedding with boyfriend Long in Atlanta.

Cute couple alert: Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long >>

"We call him Dino, and my best friend Rachel is getting married this weekend — to him," Seyfried said excited. "He's from Atlanta, and we're all headed to Cumming... we're coming to Cumming."

Another tidbit Seyfried divulged about her sweetheart is that the pair recently went on vacation with two friends to Key Largo, Florida. While in the beachy town, the foursome went paddleboarding in the evenings and met up with some dolphins one night. "But I thought it was a shark and I was like, 'Wait, check the fin!' and then my boyfriend's like, 'I see the blowhole!'" Seyfried joked.

You can check out Amanda Seyfried talk about not doing much with her boyfriend Justin Long, and her thoughts on The Bachelor in the video below.
