Divorce tattoos are now a thing

A show of hands: Would you get your husband's name tattooed on your body?

For most of us, that's probably a big hell to the N-O. But, would you get some ink to commemorate your split? A growing number of women are opting to celebrate the snip of their marital ball-and-chains with some symbolic ink.

The trend is growing in popularity thanks to photo-heavy inspiration on Pinterest, where women post photos of body art emblazoned with motivational phrases like "this too shall pass" and "never a victim, forever a fighter" alongside birds, balloons and other cliched symbols of freedom.

"There's a divorce celebration movement happening right now, and as more and more women become empowered by their status change, they are doing things to symbolize the person they have become," Joelle Caputa, author of the forthcoming book Trash the Dress, tells global social news network Vocativ. "Tattoos are a natural part of the process."

The divorced Caputa says that divorce tattoos show women — especially young women — that they aren't alone.

"No one really knows what it's like to get divorced in your 20s unless you are going through it," she tells Vocativ. "It has become a worldwide sisterhood."

We're all for self-expression and healing, but divorce is a fleeting period of life. You'll come out stronger on the other side, but think long and hard about permanently adding a lasting reminder of such a trying and emotional time to your body. Maybe just throw an all-out divorce bash instead. It celebrates your freedom without committing you to the inevitable sessions at the tattoo removal place when you're sick of the ink in a few years.

Despite the riches and fame, celebrity moms are really just like us, and they too spent some quality time with family over the weekend. Kim Kardashian and more took to their social media accounts to give fans insight on how they celebrated the big day.

Kim Kardashian received an overwhelming amount of love for her first Mother's Day celebration when soon-to-be husband Kanye West showered her with a garden wall made of roses, hydrangeas and peonies. Kardashian took to Instagram to post a video of the magical monument, where baby North West can be heard voicing some baby talk for the camera. Kardashian later posted a photo with her 10-month-old, gushing about her life since North. "This little girl has changed my world in more ways than I ever could have imagined!" she wrote.

While Kim K appeared to opt for low-key celebrations, LeAnn Rimes Cibrian took to Las Vegas with her not-so-shy husband Eddie Cibrian for a night out. First spot on the itinerary included her performance gig at Sin City's Orleans Showroom, which was followed by a late dinner and a concert outing with Steve Aoki and DJ duo The Chainsmokers. We wonder if they took any selfies.

Fans got a more personal glimpse into how Miranda Kerr celebrated the big day. In a photo, which she posted on her Instagram account, Kerr is seen posing with her son Flynn, mom and her extended family, who all reunited in Gunnedah, Australia, to celebrate the big day.

While she didn't exactly detail her Mother's Day plans, Britney Spears took to Facebook to post a throwback photo of herself and her mother Lynne, giving thanks to the woman who taught her everything about parenthood.

American Hustle's Elisabeth Röhm was spotted out and about at LA's Estérel restaurant, where she was joined by her husband and daughter. While Röhm grubbed on some of the healthy dining options, she was also seen indulging in bottomless mimosas. Talk about a mommy's day treat! The Vanderpump family was also seen at the restaurant, celebrating on the outdoor patio. Lisa Vanderpump, her husband Ken, daughter Pandora and Lisa's brother from London were also seen enjoying some mimosas and the sunny LA weather.

Cookie butter mousse filled sugar cookie cups

Cookie butter mousse-filled sugar cookie cups recipe

Cookie butter (or Biscoff) is incredible. It's a rich caramel and gingerbread flavor with a crisp texture that is the consistency of a thick peanut butter. These miniature sugar cookie cups are filled with a simple cookie butter mousse and practically melt in your mouth.

Yields 20

Ingredients:

  • 3 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon butter, at room temperature
  • 1/2 cup cookie butter or Biscoff spread
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup frozen whipped topping, completely thawed
  • 1 package sugar cookie mix plus ingredients called for

Directions:

  1. Follow the package directions to preheat the oven and prepare the sugar cookie dough.
  2. Grease a miniature muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. Roll the sugar cookie dough into small balls, and place each ball into a cavity in the muffin tin. The sugar cookie dough should fill up the space 3/4 of the way.
  3. Bake according to the package directions. When you remove the cookies from the oven, gently indent the centers with the back of a 1/2 teaspoon measuring spoon. (If you press too hard, the cookies won't come out well.)
  4. Allow the cookies to cool for about 1 minute, and then gently remove them by twisting the tops and coaxing them out.
  5. In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, beat together the cream cheese and butter. Make sure both are completely at room temperature and softened, or the mousse will have weird lumps.
  6. Beat in the cookie butter or Biscoff spread until just combined.
  7. Beat in the powdered sugar.
  8. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping.
  9. Transfer the mixture into a frosting bag that has been fitted with a star tip.
  10. Pipe the cookie butter mousse into the cooled sugar cookie cups.

Jennifer Esposito's book: Is she talking about Bradley Cooper?

Their marriage was very short, but a new book by Jennifer Esposito is implying it made a very negative impact on her life. The actress' new memoir, Jennifer's Way, takes a harsh look at a guy she once dated. Could it be ex-husband Bradley Cooper? That's what The New York Daily News seems to think.

While a majority of the book deals with her health issues surrounding her celiac disease diagnosis, she does talk about her personal life midway through the book. Esposito writes about accepting a date with a man even though there was "an entire marching band squad of red flags" warning her to stay away.

Bradley Cooper's weight gain: He can do it, but women can't? >>

The former Blue Bloods actress never names the suitor, but she described him as "funny, smart, cocky, arrogant and a master manipulator," and that she didn't "necessarily find him that attractive."

She also revealed a dark side to him. Once they began dating seriously, the man had a "mean, cold side" and "his personality could flip on a dime."

The 41-year-old star shared, "I became very sad and I felt very alone."

The relationship came to an end after she attended a seminar at the Agape International Spiritual Center in Los Angeles.

VIDEO: Louis C.K.'s theory wrong — Bradley Cooper is famous >>

She wrote, "Within days, my relationship hit an all-time low, and within a week it was over. Abruptly, rudely, and with the exact callousness that I'd come to expect from him."

The reason the New York periodical thinks Esposito is talking about Cooper is because of the time frame. After the end of the relationship, she jumps right into getting cast in Christina Applegate's sitcom Samantha Who? in 2007. She was married to the American Hustle star from December 2006 to May 2007.

The only thing Cooper has ever said about the marriage was to Howard Stern in 2011. He said, "It was just something that happened. The good thing, we both realized it… Sometimes you just realize it. It just wasn't right."

Do you think Jennifer Esposito is referring to Bradley Cooper in her new book?

Alleged card counting and a gambling habit have left Ben Affleck in trouble in his marriage to Jennifer Garner, according to new reports.

After Affleck was accused of card counting and was asked to leave the Hard Rock Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas, his marriage to Garner has become negatively affected, RadarOnline claims. The actor's gambling habits have become overly serious and Garner is very concerned.

Ben Affleck: Jennifer Garner built my career >>

Garner even insisted on going with him on his recent gambling trip because she supposedly feels Affleck is just way out of control.

"Jen demanded to go to Vegas with Ben because she doesn't trust him," an insider told Star magazine. Shortly before that, an internal email was sent from the Games Protection Manager at the Wynn and Encore casinos in Las Vegas warning recipients about Affleck's card counting antics. It was just a few days after this warning that the Hard Rock incident took place.

Apparently, a surveillance video of Affleck doing the counting deed has surfaced after it began to be circulated along with the warnings against the Argo star.

Ben Affleck is getting buff to play Batman >>

An eyewitness claims that as Affleck played cards at the table, Garner was sitting next to him watching and looking annoyed.

"After Ben had been playing for about an hour the pit boss started making phone calls," the onlooker said. "Then, shortly after, security confronted Ben. He was told he needed to leave and was escorted out."

As the pair made their way out of the casino, Garner reportedly looked "embarrassed and ashamed" as she kept her head down. Once in their hotel room, she allegedly "screamed at him, telling him he needed to quit gambling for good." But, he said he knew what he was doing and would continue to "do what he wants."

It may have been a long time ago, but Diane Keaton is opening up about a deep, dark secret. On Dr. Oz's daytime talk show last week, she admitted to an eating disorder in her 20s.

Keaton shared that she was a bulimic who consumed up to 20,000 calories a day and then purged to get rid of the food she had eaten.

Tori Spelling: Putting her troubled marriage before her health >>

She shared, "All I did was feed my hunger. I was an addict."

The list of food she would eat was astounding — from pounds of candy, a cake, several orders of french fries with blue cheese and ketchup, a bucket of fried chicken and three banana cream pies.

Keaton admitted, "I was an obese person who had somehow tricked myself and managed to hide it. When you're living with a lie for four years, it wipes out any growth whatsoever."

The Annie Hall actress eventually sought the help of a therapist to help her deal with her issues. It certainly wasn't an easy step to take, but it put the Oscar winner on the right path.

"One day I stopped," she said. "I never, ever did it again. I just stopped and I don't even know why."

The 68-year-old star is now promoting her new book, Let's Just Say It Wasn't Pretty, which talks about her opinions on beauty, growing older and marching to the beat of her own drum. She hopes that sharing her wisdom with others will change their perspective on life and self-love.

A strange turn of events has occurred during Clay Aiken's run in the Democratic primary in North Carolina's 2nd congressional district: his opponent has died. Keith Crisco passed away suddenly on Monday.

According to The Courier-Tribune in Asheboro, North Carolina, the local businessman and candidate suffered injuries from a fall at his home around 1 p.m. EST. He was reported dead at the scene before emergency workers had even arrived.

VIDEO: Clay Aiken takes on a new career in politics >>

It had been a tight race between the American Idol alum and Crisco with only 369 votes separating the two. Aiken had been in the lead, but the candidates were both waiting for the official word on Tuesday since provisional ballots still needed to be counted. It was so close that there was a possibility of a recount or a July runoff between the two candidates.

Aiken's opponent was 71 years old.

The singing sensation released a statement regarding the passing of Crisco.

Clay Aiken leading race for North Carolina primary >>

He said, "I am stunned and deeply saddened by Keith Crisco's death. Keith came from humble beginnings. No matter how high he rose — to Harvard, to the White House and to the Governor's Cabinet — he never forgot where he came from.

"He was a gentleman, a good and honorable man and an extraordinary public servant. I was honored to know him.

"I am suspending all campaign activities as we pray for his family and friends."

If the 35-year-old former singing sensation wins the election, he will be facing Republican opponent Congresswoman Renee Ellmers for the seat in congress.

Beyoncé & Solange: Instagram clues to the Jay Z fight fallout

While we're just now finding out about the elevator drama between Beyoncé, Jay Z and Solange Knowles, the trio involved in the caught-on-camera scuffle has been quietly reacting to the emotional upheaval on Instagram.

In light of the video, which clearly shows Beyoncé standing quietly to the side while her sister yells at her husband and tries to attack him, many are guessing this recently-posted prayer by the highly-influential songstress is a hint at the upset.

Five days ago, which would have been just two days after the Met Gala scuffle, the mother of Blue Ivy Carter shared this photo prayer with her 12 million Instagram followers:

#WhatJayZSaidToSolange: 5 Possible reasons Solange beat up Jay Z >>

It's noteworthy that Solange Knowles has also been doing some Instagram work since the May 5 blow up. However, rather than add any hints about how she's feeling, this songstress is making a statement by deleting nearly all traces of her sister.

Just one photo of Solange, Beyoncé and a friend remains, which was posted 15 months ago with the caption, "Girls moment. @baddiebey @msmelina."

Thorough fans have noted this is the last remaining Bey photo on the younger Knowles sister's account. One wrote Monday, "This is the only picture remaining of Beyonce," while another added, "You forgot to delete this."

Despite gossipers across the globe willing to gab, speculate and have a bit of meme fun with the family feud, no one from any of the stars' camps has commented publicly on the fight video. While it looks like this argument could be causing a rift between the sisters, People magazine points out the two left the Met gala together, while Jay Z took a separate car home.

What's your best guess as to what's going on between Beyoncé and Solange?

Miley Cyrus takes out breakup anger on Liam Hemsworth

Neither Miley Cyrus nor Liam Hemsworth have been very vocal about each other since breaking up last year, but Cyrus finally let her feelings be known at a concert on Friday night, May 9.

Justin Bieber & Miley Cyrus invent new ways to offend us >>

While Cyrus' Bangerz tour has been pretty shocking to this point, it got even more shocking after she was released from the hospital. She apparently rode a giant inflatable pink penis during Friday's show, but she explained her reasoning for it. The singer finally opened up about the hurt caused by the breakup from her former fiancé, Liam Hemsworth.

"And every time you get in your car, you're going to hear my f***ing song on the f***ing radio, you piece of s***," she started.

Cyrus has previously said she is fine being single, but her rant showed she may not be. She continued by explaining pretty graphically what she wanted to do with her prop and how that would be getting back at her ex, "and then I'm gonna hold the record for the most-watched music video on Vevo."

The singer added, in a very NSFW way (and not really even safe for the internet), how the size of a man's parts equals their confidence: "If I was a dude, I'd probably have a really big d***, 'cause I feel really good about myself now," she explained. "So I'm gonna tell those motherf***ers that broke my heart, particularly one… to enjoy hearing this song for the rest of your life. This song is called 'Wrecking Ball.'"

13 Bizarre GIFs from Miley Cyrus' creepy new video >>

The rant was much more graphic, and Cyrus is obviously showing she is still pretty hurt from the breakup. But she continues to tour, and will be performing at the Billboard Music Awards on Sunday, May 18. Liam Hemsworth is currently in Paris shooting The Hunger Games: Mockingjay — Part 1.

Purina ONE pop up Cat Cafe in NYC
Photo credit: Andrew Burton/Getty Images News/Getty Images

A great concept for people who love cats and people who don't, New York's Cat Café was the perfect place to cuddle with kitties while enjoying a cup of joe. An instant hit with visitors waiting in line for as long as four hours, the café joined up with Purina ONE to offer information about cats, cat health and the opportunity to help find one a forever home. Providing expert speakers and serving up complimentary "cat'achino" cappuccinos, 16 cats from the North Shore Animal League roamed the café April 24-27. A busy atmosphere, the cats roamed around with patrons and on window sills, and there were plenty of toys scattered around for them to entertain themselves with. The hope for both Purina ONE and the North Shore Animal League was to show the cat's true personality in a place where both the human and the feline could feel comfortable in.

Unfortunately for us, due to permits and health hazards, the Cat Café was a pop-up only. However, this does not mean that we won't be seeing more popping up around the U.S. in the near future. With more than 2.9k Facebook likes on the Purina ONE Live Streaming of the event and many of the cats adopted, we can't see why such an event would not be done again. In the interim, feel free to visit one of the many cat cafés outside the U.S., including the first opening this September in Toronto, and Japan's 39 popular kitty café hot spots.

See the kitty stars of the show that are still available for adoption at the North Shore Animal League of America.

X-Men producer Lauren Shuler Donner confirmed Channing Tatum will play Gambit in a red-carpet interview with Total Film at the London premier of X-Men: Days of Future Past.

"He's a rogue, Channing — he's a rascal, just like Remy LeBeau," said Donner.

Remy LeBeau is Gambit, a mutant with the ability to create and control kinetic energy. Although not played by Tatum, the character did make an appearance in the 2009 film X-Men Origins: Wolverine, played by Taylor Kitsch.

Although story details have yet to be released, odds are good that Tatum will be brushing up on his card-throwing skills and bo staff moves to play Gambit, who is also skilled in hand-to-hand combat.

Tatum made his desire to play the character known in a 2014 MTV interview. "Gambit is the only X-Man I've ever loved," Tatum said. "I would die to play him."

Why did Justin Timberlake say bye, bye, bye to *NSYNC at the height of the boy band's success? The star told Oprah it was one of the most difficult decisions he ever made, but a run-in with a mega-star sealed the deal for him.

During an appearance on Oprah's Master Class, Timberlake explained.

"I would wake up every morning feeling this more and more of an urge to step out on my own and try my own hand as a musician just by myself," he said. "It was happening all around me: 'Why wouldn't you ride this out? You're the biggest group in the world. Why would you walk away from this?'

"It's one of the best/worst things that I have ever done, because it was bittersweet," the "Suit & Tie" singer added. "It was hard to say goodbye to that era, but I felt it changing. I felt music changing. And I felt myself changing."

Relive the *NSYNC reunion >>

Watch Justin Timberlake explain the *NSYNC breakup

And who put that thought in his mind in the first place? We can blame Michael Jackson for that. Timberlake said Jackson passed over the song "Gone" when offered, only to change his mind after *NSYNC had already recorded it — but he only wanted it as a duet with Timberlake.

VIDEO: Justin Timberlake's new song is definitely "Not a Bad Thing" >>

"I said, 'Well, it's already out. We've already cut this song as an *NSYNC song.' I'm on the phone, I'm literally punching myself in the face, saying, 'I can't do that. Could we do *NSYNC featuring Michael Jackson or Michael Jackson featuring *NSYNC?' But he was very absolute about the fact that he wanted it to be a duet between himself and I, and I think it's the first idea that I ever got about doing something on my own because it was the first time I felt the confidence to do it."

Timberlake also said his breakout solo hit "SexyBack" almost didn't make it to the airwaves because no one at his record company took it seriously.

JT's next career move: President? >>

"I had to convince people that 'SexyBack' was my song," he said. "People didn't even think it was me. They thought it was a joke.

"I got into a full-on argument with the president of the label I was signed to at the time," he said. "I said, 'Just put the song out.' I had to call up a couple radio programmers and say, 'No, seriously. This is my song.'

"I believed in it," he said. "I believed in what it made other people do. I saw what it made other people do. I guess there is some risk in that. You learn to judge your gut. I only had my instinct, which is a powerful thing."

The song went on to reach No. 1 on the Billboard charts and win a Grammy for Best Dance Recording.

Cactus cupcakes

Take your houseplant from desert to dessert with these adorable cactus cupcakes in real flower pots. They're surprisingly easy to make and create quite an impact.

Cactus cupcakes

Start by mixing up a box of Betty Crocker Super Moist triple chocolate fudge cake mix and lining your pots with circles of parchment paper.

Cactus cupcakes

Pour the cake batter into the pots, filling them about 1/2 to 2/3 full.

Cactus cupcakes

Bake the pots for 20 to 30 minutes, until a BBQ skewer inserted in the center comes out clean.

Cactus cupcakes

Once the cakes have cooled, spread the edges of the cakes with chocolate frosting, building up the frosting inside the pot until it's level.

Cactus cupcakes

Dip the pot in ground-up Oreos to make a rim of "dirt" around the edges, and then plop a ball of chocolate frosting (about 1-1/2 inches wide) in the center of the cake.

Cactus cupcakes

Use a #18 star tip to pipe green spikes in a circle around the base of the frosting ball.

Cactus cupcakes

Continue piping in smaller and smaller circles until you have just a small hole on top of the frosting ball.

Cactus cupcakes

Switch to the pink frosting, and pipe pink stars in the center, building up until it looks like a flower.

Cactus cupcakes

The royal icing does get quite hard, but the fudgy center of chocolate frosting keeps it from being too dry. The cupcakes are best eaten within 3 days at the most and shared between 2 people.

Cactus cupcakes in terra-cotta pots recipe

Serves 12

Ingredients:

  • 1 box Betty Crocker Super Moist triple chocolate fudge cake mix
  • 3 eggs
  • 1-1/4 cups water
  • 1/3 cup vegetable oil (or melted coconut oil)
  • Parchment paper
  • 6 (3-inch) terra-cotta pots
  • 1 can chocolate frosting
  • 12 Oreo cookies
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 egg whites (use pasteurized eggs to avoid salmonella)
  • Red icing color
  • Kelly green icing color
  • Pastry bags and #18 star tip

Instructions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. Mix the cake mix with the eggs, water and vegetable oil.
  3. Cut 6 circles out of parchment paper, slightly smaller than the bases of the pots. Place 1 circle at the bottom of each pot.
  4. Fill the pots about 1/2 to 2/3 full with the cake batter, and bake in the oven for 20 to 30 minutes, until a BBQ skewer inserted in the middle comes out clean.
  5. Pulse the Oreos in a food processor until they're fine crumbs.
  6. Once your cakes have cooled, frost the edges of each one with chocolate frosting, filling in gaps to make the frosting level with the pot. Dip the pots into the cookie crumbs.
  7. Scoop out a ball of chocolate frosting about 1-1/2 inches wide, and place it in the center of a cake. Repeat with the remaining cakes.
  8. In a stand mixer, whip up the powdered sugar and egg whites until stiff peaks form. Scoop out 1/4 of the royal icing, and mix it in a small bowl with red icing color, adding a little bit of the color at a time until you get a bright pink. Mix green icing color into the larger amount of icing.
  9. Fill a pastry bag with the green icing, and fit it with the #18 tip. Pipe spikes around the base of the chocolate frosting ball, and continue piping circles of spikes up the top of the chocolate frosting ball until you have about a 1/2-inch hole at the top.
  10. Once you have piped green icing on all your cupcakes, fill another pastry bag with the pink icing. Clean out the star tip, and put it on the bag. Pipe a pink flower onto each top of the chocolate frosting balls.
  11. The royal icing will harden as it sits, so eat these cupcakes within 2 to 3 days. One potted cupcake feeds 2 people.

Kim Kardashian is making sure she looks fabulous for her upcoming wedding to fiancé Kanye West and she wants everyone to know it. Just days after sharing her luxurious Mother's Day flower wall, the socialite took to her Instagram page to show fans that she's ab-ready for her big day.

On Tuesday, May 13, the Kardashian sister designed a photo collage where she's pictured with her shirt rolled up and her fit tummy on display after her morning workout. Did this woman really just have a baby less than a year ago?

Kardashian recently took to Twitter to set the record straight on all the swirling rumors about her wedding. Not only did she dispel the rumors that she and West already tied the knot, she said that we won't be seeing as much of the wedding as we thought we would because the actual ceremony won't be filmed for E!'s Keeping Up With the Kardashians. TV viewers will only see everything leading up to the ceremony and afterwards. Despite any floating guest lists or wedding dress photos of her, the reality star insists those are all old or fake. "That's its [sic]! Unless you hear it from us please don't believe nonsense!" she concluded.

Kim Kardashian pulls vacation pics from Google Images >>

Kardashian made headlines for reasons other than her wedding, family and body last week when she penned a letter about racism. In the letter, the star spoke about some recent experiences with racism and how she hopes for a better world for her baby daughter North West. "Before I had North, I never really gave racism or discrimination a lot of thought," Kardashian wrote on her blog. "But recently, I've read and personally experienced some incidents that have sickened me and made me take notice. I realize that racism and discrimination are still alive, and just as hateful and deadly as they ever have been.

"I feel a responsibility as a mother, a public figure, a human being, to do what I can to make sure that not only my child, but all children, don't have to grow up in a world where they are judged by the color of their skin, or their gender, or their sexual orientation," she added.

The Michael Sam kiss: Why a gay football player is news

It really wasn't so long ago that a man named Jackie Robinson took the field as the first African-American to play for Major League Baseball in the modern era — a move that sparked discontent within his own clubhouse and garnered him abuse by opposing teams as well as fans in the stand.

Just as it was with Jackie Robinson, the outcry against Michael Sam has been fierce, but one man had to take that step. When Sam came out months before the draft, the reaction was varied. Many applauded his bravery, while others condemned him. Now that he's been drafted and the smooching was televised, the reactions have been far stronger.

Many continue to hold Sam and ESPN in the highest esteem, while others wonder what they'll tell their kids about two men kissing (here's a hint: Tell them that they love each other), and still others hope he'll get cut by the Rams. Some even wish for his death (yes, I've actually read internet comments saying that).

However, one reaction that I've seen repeatedly is one of supposed ambivalence — the person who wonders, "I just care about football. Why should I be interested in his sex life? Why is this news? Why should I care?" While this reaction seems innocent, it's not. It's actually dismissive and dangerous.

Why is this news?

A football player gets drafted by the NFL, is moved to tears and then embraces and kisses his partner. Just like that, what sounds so typical and ordinary was actually massively historical, because Michael Sam is gay.

As a gay football player who hopes to play at the highest level, Michael Sam is breaking down barriers. His sexual orientation is news because so many young people are terrified of coming out because they fear condemnation from not only strangers, but their own parents. This momentous step will help pave the way for those who follow in his footsteps — young athletes who haven't yet come out, but will someday soon.

He still has to make the roster, and he does face a lot of competition on the Rams' defensive line but Sam is an award-winning defensive end for the University of Missouri, earning multiple honors during his playing time there. No matter what the outcome of his NFL standings is, as he broke down in tears and kissed his boyfriend several times in celebration, Sam helped the NFL and the gay community take a huge step forward.

In a world where gay teens are bullied to the point of suicide and men and women are tormented simply because they are not heterosexual, Michael Sam is a brave man.

That is why this is news.

Emily Blunt and John Krasinski have shared their daughter Hazel's first public photo with the world, as well as made a statement about how they feel toward paparazzi angling their lenses her way.

It appears the acting duo, who wed in 2010 and welcomed their firstborn child on Feb. 16, are joining forces with fellow celebrity parents Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard on the No Kids Policy.

Check out the adorable photo Krasinski tweeted Tuesday morning, along with his pointed message:

Considering Blunt and Krasinski have thus far been fairly tight-lipped about their private lives, Hazel's photo debut is a welcome surprise.

Other stars who support the No Kids Policy, which aims to protect the privacy of the children of celebrities, include Minnie Driver and Eric Dane.

The actress and mom of one recently told ET about a scary incident with the paparazzi. "I got surrounded by these photographers. They were flashing and I started crying and saying, 'Stop, stop, stop!' There is something incredibly creepy and weird about taking pictures of children."

Dane, who is dad to two daughters, explained his point of view by saying, "I think kids are off limits. I mean, we signed up for this — this is part of our job, more or less, and we chose this life and everything that comes along with it — and our children didn't.

"My oldest doesn't like it that much; she only wants mommy and daddy to take pics of her, so we just tell her to smile and try and be as gracious as she can, but it's gotta be tough for them because not only are people jumping out of bushes to get pictures, and not only is it jarring, but I don't want them growing up thinking everybody is going to be taking pictures of them. That's not the norm."

Casey Kasem has been a staple in the world of Top 40 radio for decades. But last year, Kasem announced he had Parkinson's Disease and now, it looks like the 82-year-old has gone missing.

Casey Kasem's kids shut down in conservatorship bid >>

According to the Associated Press, a judge has ordered an investigation into Kasem's location after his wife said she had "removed" him from Los Angeles without telling his children.

Kasem's daughter Kerri filed for a temporary conservatorship after her stepmother didn't follow the rules of the agreement they had, which would allow his children to see him. Kerri Kasem said she thinks Kasem's wife has taken him to an Indian reservation in Washington State.

The children of Casey Kasem also attempted to get a conservatorship of their father last year, when they said their stepmother was alienating him.

"He can't really speak, but he knows we're there," Kerri said back in 2013. "And last time we saw him, he could shuffle a bit. He had a hard, very hard, time walking. He was just deteriorating due to Parkinson's disease."

The radio personality's situation sounds similar to that of Mickey Rooney, who accused his stepson of elder abuse back in 2011, and took his fight all the way to Capitol Hill.

"I felt trapped, scared, used and frustrated," Rooney, who died last month, told Congress three years ago. "But above all, when a man feels helpless, it's terrible."

The judge in this case apparently felt the same, and ordered adult protective services to find Kasem.

Jean and Casey Kasem have been married since 1980, and have a 23-year-old child together. Jean's attorney told the court even he doesn't know where Kasem is but that he is "no longer in the United States.

"I have no idea where he is," he added.

We live in a society where we take the simplest things for granted. Have you ever wondered what your life would be like if you had no arms? How would you eat? How would you drive to work? How would you dress yourself? How would you write? Fifth grader Jahmir Wallace is challenged by simple actions such as these every day. Three days before his birth, his mother learned that he would be born without arms. Jahmir has overcome his irregularity and has adapted to everyday situations by using his feet to eat, write and much more.

The most-inspiring aspect of Jahmir is his passion for music. He learned to play the trumpet by using his toes to press the valves. Jahmir chose the trumpet because he thought it would be easy to play. Playing the instrument challenged Jahmir, but he was determined to learn. Now he plays just as well as any other fifth grader. He doesn't let his abnormality keep him from doing what he wants. Jahmir is an inspiring role model for people of all ages. This young boy is proof that no matter what obstacle life throws at you, you can overcome it with hard work and determination.

While walking the red carpet for her husband Brad Pitt's new cable movie Normal Heart, Angelina Jolie apparently suffered a big mishap with her makeup.

The A-lister icon sported a large blotch of white powder on her jaw area that was quite apparent on all her photographs from the event at New York's Ziegfeld Theater on Monday night. The powder could also be seen on her upper chest and forehead, making Jolie look like she spent the day baking bread in the kitchen before running out to the premiere.

The 38-year-old mother of six still looked great, however, despite the makeup overload disaster. Jolie donned an elegant black strapless gown and wore her hair pulled back behind her ears and loose in the back. Meanwhile, Pitt looked smashing in a blue and black blazer, sleek hair and black-rimmed spectacles.

No word on whether anyone alerted Jolie about her makeup "oops" as she walked the carpet, but she and Pitt happily went over to a big group of waiting fans and signed a slew of autographs. Luckily for Jolie, light-colored powder makeup becomes more apparent under camera flash, so her adoring admirers may not have noticed the actress's interesting Casper look.

After posing for photos, Jolie was given the choice to meet famed designer Valentino for the first time. Introduced by Anna Wintour, who was seemingly unaware of Jolie's makeup catastrophe, Jolie was immediately told by the fashion paragon that he must get her into one of his dress creations.

A source told Us Weekly that "Valentino was clearly thrilled" to finally meet the famous and beautiful activist celebrity.
