"Happy anniversary to my sweetie and best friend for life," she captioned a gorgeous black-and-white photo from their wedding day, also tagging Feldman in the shot and adding a few different heart emojis for good measure.

In the photo, Feldman is raising his hand in triumph and Guthrie has the biggest smile across her face. They look so incredibly happy, and it's no wonder this is a meaningful photo from their special day — it's just beautiful.

Guthrie and Feldman were married on March 15, 2014, in Tucson, Arizona. It was an especially joyful time in both their lives, because just days after the wedding, Guthrie announced that she was pregnant with their first child. Their daughter Vale Guthrie Feldman was born in August of that year. With all those happy memories in the same year, it's no wonder that's the time she throws back to on social media. Who wouldn't?

Guthrie and her family are now reunited after she was away for a long stint covering the Winter Olympic Games in South Korea for the Today show. We can only imagine how happy they are to be back in one place, especially with their anniversary this week and Vale's birthday right around the corner. Here's hoping Guthrie keeps the throwbacks coming so we can all take part in her family's happiness.

Royal Wedding Condoms Are Now a Thing

With the nuptials of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle just around the corner, we're likely to see a variety of royal wedding-themed products hitting the market, so why not one for hitting the sheets?

Feast your eyes on the latest offering from Crown Jewels Heritage Condoms, which bills itself as "the world’s pre-eminent supplier of souvenir-grade heirloom prophylactics."

Royal Wedding Condoms

Aside from handsome deep-blue packaging featuring the engaged royal couple, what makes these condoms so unique? We're so glad you asked. Not only are "these artisan-style sheaths" specially tailored to a "regal fit" before being carefully "drizzled with lube and packed for freshness," but they also come in a souvenir case which, when opened, plays an exclusive musical arrangement of "God Save the Queen" and "The Star Spangled Banner."

What more would you want from a condom? (Aside from, you know, protection from pregnancy and sexually transmitted infections.)

The condoms are currently available exclusively through the Crown Jewels website and go for £10 (approximately $14 USD), though a press release from the company notes that commemorative condoms from Prince William and the Duchess of Cambridge's wedding back in 2011 are now going for more than £100 (approximately $140 USD) at auction.

More: How & Where to Get Free Condoms

"A royal wedding is a celebration of love, just like our luxurious sheaths," Hugh Pomfret, spokesperson for Crown Jewels Heritage Condoms says in a statement. "We proudly stand with our American cousins to toast the happy couple and say to lovers everywhere; your Prince will come."

The company also notes that their product has not been approved or used by Harry, Markle, HRH Queen Elizabeth II or any other member of the royal family.

MoreWhy Condoms Are Hot Commodities at the Olympics

The back of the packaging reads, "Lie back and think of England" — a reference to what Queen Victoria allegedly (but probably did not) say to one of her newly married daughters on how to make it through sex with her husband. It has since become pop-culture shorthand for women having to endure unfulfilling intercourse — something we hope Markle will never have to go through herself.

Jennifer Lopez Remembers the Uncomfortable Casting Call That Tested Her

At this point, it can feel like we've heard every single celebrity's #MeToo story, because that's how many of them have already been told. But there are still more, and women are still finding the strength and power to speak up.

More: McKayla Maroney & Other Female Celebrities Share Gut-Wrenching #MeToo Stories

In a new interview with Harper's Bazaar, Jennifer Lopez is the latest to share her story.

"I haven’t been abused in the way some women have. But have I been told by a director to take off my shirt and show my boobs? Yes, I have," she says in the new issue. "But did I do it? No, I did not."

Lopez did not name the director, but she did say his behavior made her extremely uncomfortable. She continued, "When I did speak up, I was terrified. I remember my heart beating out of my chest, thinking, 'What did I do? This man is hiring me!' It was one of my first movies," she says. "But in my mind I knew the behavior wasn’t right. It could have gone either way for me. But I think ultimately the Bronx in me was like, 'Nah, we’re not having it.'"

More: Time's Person of the Year 2017 Honors the #MeToo Movement

Lopez is lucky to have made it through that frightening situation without any further harassment — or, at least, she's not telling us if there were any repercussions. She also didn't say whether she got the job after she turned down the director's inappropriate request.

"I’m not one of those media darlings," she added. "I didn’t get kissed into this business. I’m from the Bronx. I had to find my way, so I’ve always felt like I had to prove myself. Maybe that’s a good drive to have. I never settle for mediocre."

Thankfully, she didn't feel like she had to prove herself by giving into that director's harassment. And adding her voice to the flood of other stories will only make it harder for powerful men to continue to act that way.

Abby Lee Miller's Prison Sentence Has Been Reduced Even Further

Updated, March 16, 2018, 9:50 a.m. PT: Abby Lee Miller's already shortened prison sentence has been reduced once again. Though she was sentenced to a full year behind bars, Miller was scheduled to be released on June 21, almost a month short of a year from when she began her sentence. Now, the Federal Bureau of Prisons has told reporters her updated release date is May 25, almost another month early.

But Miller has been hard at work while behind bars taking classes to help prepare her for life outside of prison. It sounds like she's been a model inmate, so it isn't too surprising she's set to get out a little early. Now all that remains to be seen is how long it'll be before she gets back on TV.

Original story, published Dec. 19, 2017: We may not have heard too much from Abby Lee Miller since she started her sentence in federal prison, but that doesn't mean she hasn't been busy. The former star of Dance Moms has been taking a lot of classes while behind bars, preparing her for being über-productive once she gets released.

More: The New Boss on Dance Moms Is All Business & Zero Drama

Us Weekly reports that Miller has already completed a prison release preparation program, which gives inmates the information they need to successfully prepare for being released from the system. She's also reportedly received certificates in personal finance and real estate by completing Adult Continuing Education classes.

Miller was sentenced in May after being convicted of bankruptcy fraud and bringing $120,000 from Australia into the U.S. without reporting it to customs. She was ordered to complete a 366-day prison sentence, which she began serving in July at a federal prison in Victorville, California. She was also fined $40,000 in addition to the $120,000 judgment, and she'll face two years of supervised release once she gets out of prison.

More: Abby Lee Miller Wants Her Next Maddie Ziegler but Isn't Putting In the Work

Spending time behind bars isn't stopping Miller from thinking about her career. She previously told Us Weekly that once she's released, she wants to get right back to work.

"I hope to come out and have a new TV show, a scripted show that I’ve created," she said. "And it’s kind of, you know, a teenage show where Dance Moms leaves off, what should happen next, because I know what should happen next."

More: It's Official: Abby Lee Miller's Finally Had Enough With Dance Moms' BS

Whether the show will actually happen is a big mystery, but with more than half of her prison sentence still left to complete, Miller probably won't be back on TV anytime soon.

We Asked Hannah Simone How It Really Feels to Be The Greatest American Hero

From 1981 to 1983, ABC aired a superhero dramedy called The Greatest American Hero. The series starred William Katt as Ralph Hinkley, an ordinary man to whom aliens gave a suit with extraordinary powers. It was, apropos, an extraordinary premise. And today, during a time when women are boldly shifting to the forefront, The Greatest American Hero is getting an extraordinary twist: a female-led reboot. Even more remarkable still, it will be the first show in television history in which a superhero is played by a woman of color. That woman is New Girl’s Hannah Simone.

More: 10 Struggles New Girl Fans Understand

When we had the chance recently to catch up with Simone — the new ambassador for Straight Talk Wireless — she revealed that taking the role was a no-brainer. Born in London to an Indian father and English mother of German, Italian and Greek Cypriot descent, Simone has lived a truly multicultural life, living on three continents before the age of 13. One constant no matter where she was, though, was that she couldn’t readily turn on the TV and find a superhero who looked like her.

It was this knowledge, in fact, that largely informed her motivation to land the lead role in the new Greatest American Hero.

“As soon as I learned that, I’m like, ‘Yes, please!’” she told SheKnows of discovering the role's historic (and cultural) significance. “I grew up watching TV and I never saw anyone who looked like me playing a role like that, so the fact that now, No. 1, we’re in a place where that role exists, and No. 2, that they would even consider me for it feels like such a huge honor. There was no question in my mind that if I was lucky enough to be offered the role that I would take it in a heartbeat.”

And as if landing the lead in a history-making TV series wasn’t exciting enough, arguably the best part of doing so for Simone has been the nonstop feedback she’s been getting from young fans.

“I know that people slide into other people’s DMs usually for other reasons, but for me, it’s been so amazing to read all of the messages," she said. "My inbox is completely full of young girls of color all over the country — and all over the world, because that’s just how the internet works once that story broke — just saying how exciting and important it felt for them.”

Of course, as monumental as this moment is for women of color, it makes you wonder: What took so long? Thanks to movements like #MeToo and Time’s Up, women in Hollywood are certainly starting to gain more traction. But how do we help create more moments like this for females, both on-screen and behind the scenes? “You just create the content,” Simone says.

More:  The #MeToo Movement Took Over Twitter — Now It's Going to Take Over TV

“That’s what I’m learning right now. I’m just watching a lot of incredible women create the content and tell their stories, and then hire women around them. I just did a film called Band-Aid that was written and directed by Zoe Lister-Jones,” shared Simone, continuing, “She wanted to tell her story — a really strong female story — and she wrote it, she directed it, she starred in it, and she cast a ton of really great, talented women around her. But then, when she went behind the camera, she also crewed it with all women. So that to me was also a really exciting moment, because that’s her using her platform to create opportunities.”

Simone admits she’s fortunate in that her experience in Hollywood has been very positive and female-driven, a mark of the progress made by female pioneers of the industry who’ve worked tirelessly to create more inclusive moments for women in film and TV.

“I’ve seen it happen a lot on New Girl. We had a female showrunner, female lead of our show, lots of female directors. And even on this pilot, The Greatest American Hero, it’s a female showrunner — Nahnatchka Khan is behind the project. And, you know, a female lead,” Simone said.

Essentially, this is what it all boils down to: women supporting one another.

“I just think it’s about women hiring women and sharing that platform, and then there’s the opportunity for us to share our stories,” elaborates Simone, going on to say, “It’s funny how there’s this reputation that it’s so cutthroat in Hollywood and we’re just all battling for roles… my experience has been this incredible, generous community of women.”

Although there’s still much work to be done for women (especially women of color) in the world, strides are being made. As we all know in light of the headlines lately, Hollywood has not historically been a happy or safe place for women.

But when asked whether there are any underrepresented niches for women on TV and film right this second, Simone drew a blank — and there’s something to be said for that.

More:  Let's Talk About the Diversity (or Lack Thereof) in Daytime TV

“I think I’ve been working currently right now in such a positive space with really strong women, and the roles I’ve gotten to play are incredibly diverse. So I can’t think of anything off the top of my head! Like, I had to learn that this was the first time a woman of color was playing a superhero on TV. Sometimes you’re not even aware of it, especially if you’re actually living in a supportive community,” she shared.

Of course, we’ll have Simone's Greatest American Hero to thank for fulfilling one specific as-of-yet unfulfilled niche: a female superhero of color. But Simone humbly tells us, “It’s just an honor to be a part of it, and it’s nice to be a part of a project that feels so important.”

The Backstreet Boys Are Back — With a New Tequila Brand

The Backstreet Boys kept us going in the '90s with their boy band cuteness and dance moves, and as they’ve grown up, so have we, and now they are taking on a totally new business venture.

No, they won't be hosting an American Idol-like TV show or designing their own line of clothing like so many celebs do, but instead, they are hoping to make a splash in the liquor industry. During a recent stint at luxury resort Moon Palace in Cancun, the band told a Tasting Table reporter that they are working on a potential tequila venture.

More: Blue Apron Is Taking Their Meal Kits in a Whole New Direction

"I like a good reposado or añejo," Kevin Richardson said.

Then Nick Carter added, "And that leads us into talking about our tequila venture that we'll be coming out with. [We] just need to find a partner here in Mexico." Something tells us they won’t have much trouble finding that partner, either.

More: Summer cocktails with tequila

Tasting Table reports that in Mexico, tequila can only be manufactured in the state of Jalisco, which means the band will need a local Mexican partner. However, a BSB-endorsed tequila brand would be a sure hit in Mexico and in the States — as well as in my personal liquor cabinet.

There are no more details available as of yet, but we’re excited and happily waiting with bated breath. Backstreet Boys are back, all right — with cocktails too! As many other celebs are venturing into booze, from Jon Bon Jovi’s rosé release to George Clooney and Casamigos, the boys will be in excellent company.

Rihanna Taught Snapchat a Lesson About Using Her Pain For Gain

Did Rihanna just cause the downfall of Snapchat? First, the app's redesign drove away tons of loyal users. Then it was criticized by Kylie Jenner, driving away even more. Sure, none of that really meant Snapchat deserved to be canceled; the app's developers just made some poor interface decisions. But surely, after the way Snapchat treated Rihanna, there definitely an argument to be made that it deserves to be canceled.

You may have heard the news in the last few days about a remarkably tone deaf, offensive and damaging ad that was run on Snapchat, asking users to vote in a poll asking, "Would you rather slap Rihanna or punch Chris Brown?" There was seemingly no marketing tie-in or reason for the ad to appear (not that a marketing tie-in or reason would have been good enough to justify making light of one of the more traumatic incidents in Rihanna's public life) and it caused a lot of concern.

Connections were quickly made to the ways in which the ad referenced the domestic violence incident that happened between Rihanna and Brown when they were dating in 2009. Brown allegedly assaulted Rihanna in a car, leaving her with multiple injuries, and for which Brown served time prison time for charges related to the attack.

Rihanna was quick to condemn the ad on her Instagram story, not that she needed to because plenty of people were able to see that it was appalling. However, her words were pretty damning.

"Now SNAPCHAT I know you already know you ain’t my fav app out there!" she wrote. "But I’m just trying to figure out what the point was with this mess! I’d love to call it ignorance, but I know you ain’t that dumb! You spent money to animate something that would intentionally bring shame to DV [domestic violence] victims and made a joke of it!!! This isn’t about my personal feelings, cause I don’t have much of them…but all the women, children, and men that have been victims of DV in the past and especially the ones who haven’t made it out yet…you let us down! Shame on you. Throw the whole app-oligy [sic] away."

Snapchat has since apologized, saying in a statement, "The advert was reviewed and approved in error, as it violates our advertising guidelines. We immediately removed the ad last weekend, once we became aware. We are sorry that this happened."

Still, it's not enough to save the app from the wrath of RiRi's fans, who have been deleting it en masse, causing a massive hit to Snapchat's stock value.

Yes, Straight Women Visit Sex Workers — Here's Why

Sex is a vital part of health and wellness, yet it is often the least discussed of our health needs, even among women, who are often better than men at staying on top of their well-being. Quality sexual encounters that are mutually pleasurable for all parties involved are often the missing key when it comes to our sex lives.

As fantastic as that sounds, how does one have a quality encounter? What does that experience even look like? The reality is most of us have no idea how to actually have good sex. Instead, most Americans simply turn off the lights, get naked under the covers and hope their partner isn't totally miserable. This is the unfortunate byproduct of a society severely lacking in sex education. This is where sex workers like myself come in — we are the sex educators women need.

More: A Legal Sex Worker on What It's Really Like to Work in a Brothel

So, just what can a sex worker teach the average American female about sex? Quite a lot, in fact. To scratch the surface, there's the practical side of sex education: Which products actually work, which lubes are safe to use with condoms, how you should clean your sex toys and how to tell if an item is a good-quality sex toy in the first place.

Even more important, I can show you which types of ingredients and additives should be avoided in the bedroom. No one is born knowing these things — and we sure aren't getting this education in school. Sex workers are real sexperts, and with that comes valuable knowledge that can help shape your sexual experiences as an individual.

Seeing a sex worker is a unique opportunity to fill the missing gaps in your education and learn about the things you have always been curious about. Many women don’t have a proper education on how to use protection in the bedroom — especially what kind of protection should be used between two women in an encounter. Not knowing these important points can make sex with other women or even bringing another woman into the bedroom for your partner a risky endeavor.

More: This Is Why I Decided to Become a Sex Worker

Curious how to give your partner a unique experience they’ll never forget? Want to learn positions and add techniques to your repertoire? Sex workers have devoted themselves to giving incredible experiences to their visitors and can help give you that edge in the bedroom that will leave your partner out of breath and stunned at your prowess. Want to learn how to give a nuru massage? Interested in how to give oral sex that will leave your partner dizzy with pleasure? These techniques and more are easy to learn from a professional sex worker therapy session.

Dig deeper, and on the next level you'll find the personal side of sex education: Know thyself. When’s the last time you took some real time, explored yourself and gave yourself a toe-curling orgasm? For most of us, the answer is "it's been a while." Personal sex ed classes help to put you back in touch with your body and discover erogenous zones you never knew existed.

Until you've dedicated the time to exploring your body with the guidance of a professional, you'll likely be missing out on an entire level of enjoyment and pleasure. Knowing your precise pleasure preferences will make it so much easier to have quality sex encounters with your current or future partners. Intimately knowing your body is a life skill that will pay dividends throughout your entire sexual life. The skills you hone with a sex worker will continue to benefit you throughout your lifetime.

Married, single, engaged or "it's complicated" — no matter your relationship status, there is so much to be gained from getting a great sexual education. There is so much power and wisdom that comes from women learning from each other and sharing meaningful life skills. It’s not just about the sex — it's about you. How can you best pursue your relationship goals? How can you invest in and develop yourself? And how can you have a better sex life?

This is about making time for you despite your career, your family and your busy schedule. It's reclaiming your sexuality in the most powerful way possible — through education.

Meghan Markle's Wedding Prep Includes Being Pretend Kidnapped

Wedding planning is definitely busy and stressful. There's just so many things to plan and arrange. There's the dresses and tuxes. The venue. The food. The flowers. The music. The honeymoon. The fake kidnapping.

More: 10 Royal Beauty & Fashion Traditions Meghan Markle Has Already Broken

Yes, one of those things is not like the others, and probably doesn't come standard in just any bride's wedding planning. But for Meghan Markle, a fake kidnapping is an important part of preparing to become a member of the royal family ahead of her May wedding to Prince Harry, so she can know what to do in case she is ever actually kidnapped, a very real risk for a brand new British Duchess. Yikes.

More: The Queen Has Helped Tick One Big To-Do Off the Royal Wedding Checklist

According to the British newspaper the Daily Express, Markle spent two days in an undisclosed location in the British countryside undergoing all kinds of necessary security training. The "kidnap and rescue" drill was just one portion of it, but it definitely sounds like the most intense. During that training, members of the Royal Army's SAS regiment reportedly used live ammo and real guns during a practice "rescue" from a fake kidnapping. According to one member of the SAS, that's to get the future princess used to the sound of real gunfire in case she ever (God forbid) has to put this training into use in the real world.

Also during the kidnapping training, Markle was taught how to form a relationship with her kidnappers, which is apparently a better idea than trying to escape. There was also a scenario in which rescuers were killed and Markle was left to finish an escape attempt on her own. Honestly, this sounds terrible, even though we know it's necessary.

This is training that all modern royals have undergone, so it's nothing new. But wowza, we'd definitely rather spend two days at a spa.

7 Dark Secrets About the Real Peter Pan — Revealed

$

0

Just how bad was Peter Pan author and playwright, J.M. Barrie?

Barrie may have been portrayed by Johnny Depp as a kind and caring soul who befriended a family in need in 2004's Finding Neverland, but his life story in reality seems much, much darker. According to some accounts, Barrie left a trail of death and destruction in his wake — and might have actually preyed on young children, as opposed to caring for them. And once you learn the following dark secrets about the real Peter Pan author, you might understand why people would believe this.

Here are seven reasons many question Barrie's decency.

1. J.M. Barrie stole his own "lost boys"

According to Piers Dudgeon, the author of Captivated: J.M. Barrie, the Du Mauriers & the Dark Side of Neverland, Barrie manipulated his way into the lives of Sylvia and Arthur Llewelyn Davies, the parents of three boys, George, Jack and baby Peter. Barrie apparently lavished gifts on the family and spent hours with the boys having adventures in the park and making up stories.

When Arthur and Sylvia both died of cancer within three years of each other, Barrie assumed guardianship of the boys. In case any blood relatives protested, he had Sylvia's will forged, giving him custody. Strangely, the family never objected to a non-relative raising the children.

Years later, Peter said this about Barrie taking custody of him and his brothers, "The whole business, as I look back on it, was almost unbelievably queer and pathetic and ludicrous and even macabre in a kind of way."

2. Barrie's unusually close relationship with Michael and George

Barrie enjoyed taking photographs of the boys, sometimes in homemade costumes and often wearing no clothes at all. Today, that would seem highly suspicious, but Barrie presented an innocent front to the adults around him, despite writing about the joy of undressing and sleeping next to a young boy. Barrie's book, The Little White Bird, published in 1902, was a thinly veiled account of his relationship with George. While the book was incredibly popular when it was published, the following passage just feels obsessive.

"I lay thinking of this little boy, who, in the midst of his play while I undressed him, had suddenly buried his head on my knees... Of David's dripping little form in the bath, and how I essayed to catch him as he slipped from my arms like a trout. Of how I had stood at the open door listening to his sweet breathing, had stood so long I forgot his name."

3. Letter with creepy candle reference

In June 1908, Barrie wrote this note to Michael for his eighth birthday, "I wish I could be with you and your candles. You can look on me as one of your candles, the one that burns badly — the greasy one that is bent in the middle. But still, hurray, I am Michael's candle. Dear Michael, I am very fond of you, but don't tell anybody."

The lines "the greasy one that is bent in the middle" and "don't tell anybody" give us chills.

4. Barrie's not good with the ladies

Barrie biographer Piers Dudgeon suggests the author and playwright was impotent and most likely never consummated his marriage to actress Mary Ansell, who wrote this about her husband, "Love in its fullest sense could never be felt by him or experienced." She eventually had an affair with one of Barrie's friends, which led to their divorce.

5. George died on the battlefield

Both George and Peter volunteered to serve in World War I. Some historians think this was a way for the young men to get away from Barrie. Sadly, George died in Belgium from a gunshot to the head. He was only 21.

6. Michael's possible suicide pact with his gay lover

When he was also just 21 years old, Michael drowned along with another young man, known to be his lover, in what many biographers think was a suicide pact. The drowning occurred in a section of the Thames River called Sandford Lock that was notorious for its dangerous currents.

7. Peter's suicide

In 1960, at the age of 63, Peter Llewelyn Davies threw himself under a train. This was after he destroyed almost all the letters from Barrie to the Davies boys, saying they were simply "too much."

The Best Career Advice I Ever Received

$

There’s nothing quite like having a network of successful women as your friends. These are the people you count on when you have a setback in your career, when you’re trying to decide if you should ask for more money or when you just need to lean on someone who's been there. But not everybody starts out with those resources. So, we rounded up a group of winning women to tell us about themselves, their careers and some of the best (and worst) advice they’ve gotten along the way.

Gia Peppers is an entertainment journalist who wanted to be a basketball player growing up and instead became a writer. But she doesn’t think her younger self would be disappointed. "I still am on the path that my kid self would be proud of," she said. The best advice she’s been given is “what’s for you is for you” — meaning, she says, “You just have to believe in yourself, and if you don’t get the part, it wasn’t for you.”

Leah Faye Cooper, a fashion editor and writer, said she always wanted to be a writer. But the thing that surprised her about her career is that she thought it would be a stable gig and then she’d eventually retire. “That is not the case,” she laughed. “My career has definitely had ups and downs.”

Alyssa D’Angelo, a personal chef, is no stranger to embarrassing work situations. Once, she dropped 22 quarts of lobster stock all over the floor. But that’s also when she learned her greatest lesson: “You just have to keep going and figure out how you’re going to make today work.”

Josh Duhamel Explains Why He Supported Fergie After Her National Anthem Disaster

Updated March 16, 2018, 12:45 p.m. PT: We already knew ex Josh Duhamel brought Fergie flowers after her disastrous NBA All-Stars national anthem rendition, but his support for her goes far deeper than that. In fact, he had nothing but good to say about Fergie when he appeared on The Dan Patrick Show this week and shared more details about the aftermath of that day.

"I was on my way back from the airport when I heard," Duhamel explained. "So, I saw it when I got home. I felt, I mean I’ve seen the girl sing it several times — Daytona 500, Patriots, Dolphins home opener — and she crushes the song, so I was surprised to see she tried what she did. But more than that, I just felt bad for her. There’s an army of trolls out there who are just ready to pounce and they were not nice. And for that, I feel bad but she’s a really tough girl."

He continued, "It’s not easy. Someone you care about getting hammered like that is not easy. And I wanted to defend her, too. I wanted to pull the tapes out from Daytona 500, like, 'Look at this! She’s really good at singing this song!' But I was like, 'I gotta just stay out of this.' It’s that protective thing in you, but she’s doing great."

And as for the flowers?

"I didn’t know what else to do. I was like, 'I just want you to know, I got your back, girl. I’m with you, I’m on your side,' Duhamel said. "The girl’s amazingly talented, she really truly is. And by the way, her album is amazing. She’s had a challenging year but she is resilient."

So sweet to see that even in the middle of their divorce, Fergie and Duhamel can have each other's backs like this.

Original story, published Feb. 20, 2018, 9:19 a.m. PT:

Fergie and Josh Duhamel may be ending their marriage, but they clearly still care for one another. Fergie has been under fire the last few days for her disastrous performance of the national anthem at the NBA All-Stars Game on Friday, Feb. 16, but Duhamel still has her back.

More: How Josh Duhamel Is Moving On After Divorce From Fergie

Paparazzi photos show Duhamel arriving at Fergie's home, where she's been in hiding pretty much all weekend, on Monday, Feb. 19 to drop off their son, Axl. But what's really sweet and surprising about the photos is the huge bouquet of roses Duhamel is holding as he gets out of the car. They must be for Fergie; why else would he bring them out of the car?

There are two words in the English language that bring equal and immeasurable joy to adults and children alike. Two words that are guaranteed to elicit both sweet smiles and evil, plotting-to-take-over-the-world laughter. Two words that mean you probably won’t be sleeping in your bedroom for the next couple of days. Those words are: pillow forts.

But don't just stop at pillow forts. You can build blanket forts, cardboard forts, a simple fort with just a sheet and a clothesline or a complicated one with secret entrances and defense towers. We’ve rounded up 10 of the most fun forts, fortresses, castles, teepees and tents so you can wow your kiddos — and yourself — by creating a magical space you'll all want to live in forever. Or at least until the next time somebody tries to change their bedsheets and realizes the contents of the linen closet are, um, otherwise engaged.

Incredible Forts to Build: Teepees

Teepees are a gorgeous alternative to some of the more claustrophobic forts; they offer that cozy sanctuary while still being open and inviting. Plus, there's no fear of the entire pillow fort collapsing on your head when you stand up. Some greenery and a beautiful lamp make this the perfect reading nook.

Incredible Forts to Build: Room sized teepee

Is the aforementioned teepee just a little too tiny for you? Look no further: This teepee can fill the entire room if you want it to and can be fully enclosed or exposed depending on how you arrange your blankets. Spread out, put a table in there, add a coffee machine, whatever you want. Looks like a good place for your next board meeti— I mean, looks like a great place for your kids' clubhouse.

We Tried 8 Brands to Find the Best Butter

$

When you travel in serious baking circles the way I do, you inevitably start to get into the minutest details regarding ingredients. You might go in depth discussing the pros and cons of canned pumpkin or how certain brands of peanut butter are just more satisfying (pssst…you can find out which here!). Recently, though, with the growing popularity of Kerrygold butter and all my foodie friends’ interest in baking, we’ve been wondering what truly is the best butter.

So of course we had to put butters to the test. After all, if you’re going to labor over a loaf of homemade bread all afternoon, you want to be sure that you’re topping it with the best butter you can find — not to mention you’ll want that same butter in all your cookies and cakes.

In efforts to set ourselves up for our most successful bakes yet, we tried the salted variety of the following brands: Freis Von Kiel, Full Circle Market, Kerrygold, Land O’Lakes, Land O’Lakes European Style, Organic Valley, Organic Valley Cultured Pasture Butter and Shurfine. Find out which we loved best!

Finding the Best Butter: Butter Taste Test

Honorable mentions

Sometimes our taste tests are almost too close to call. We included these two great butter options because they got great marks but just missed the podium.

Land O’Lakes: 7/10

Our testers considered this one “textbook butter” with just the right amount of salt, which is exactly what you’re looking for in baking. We’d recommend it for your next batch of cookies.

$5.25 per pound; available nationwide

Full Circle Market: 7.1/10

This certified organic butter is made with cream from cows that aren't treated with antibiotics or added growth hormones. We liked it for its slightly higher salt content, making a really satisfying spread for a toasty baguette.

$6.15 per pound; available at many grocers nationwide

Best premium butter: Land O’Lakes European Style

Finding the Best Butter: Best Premium Butter, Land O’Lakes European Style

Score: 7.6/10

Looking at Land O’Lakes European Style at the grocery store, I had to wonder what made this butter premium. Was it the fancy box? Was it the label of being “European” like its Kerrygold competitor? Well, our testers got to the bottom of this one and determined that this butter was labeled as premium for its velvety texture.

Perhaps that exceptional texture came from the additional milk fat in this butter. Land O’Lakes European butter contains 82 percent, while American butters are only required to contain 80. Maybe that extra 2 percent really pushed this butter from being good (like its honorable-mention cousin) to great. Perhaps it’s that extra bit along with this butter’s perfect balance of cream and salt. Near perfection.

$7.19 per pound; available nationwide

Best small producer: Freis Von Kiel

Finding the Best Butter: Best Small Producer, Freis von Kiel

Score: 8.8/10

This we know is true: Wisconsinites are passionate about their butter — so much so that they aren’t ones to accept clever imitators. So it might just be in our blood to recognize good Wisconsin butter like Freis Von Kiel.

This creamy, pale-yellow butter got high praise for its silky texture and natural looks. In fact, several testers made notes on how this brand seemed the most farm fresh to them. Considering this butter hails from just about 60 miles away, we consider that pretty fresh!

It’s also worth noting that of the eight butters we tried, Freis Von Kiel butter was the only one rated Wisconsin Grade A (versus Grade AA like the others). According to Wisconsin’s Department of Agriculture, Grade A butters often have a stronger taste than their AA counterparts, so perhaps we were all picking up on (and loving!) those slightly bolder flavors.

$4.19 per pound; available at Sendik’s and other Wisconsin grocers

Best in show: Shurfine

Finding the Best Butter: Best in Show, Shurfine

Score: 8.9/10

Surprising every single tester on our panel, the generic brand took the top spot in this test! Shurfine, a private label brand sold at many independent grocers, proved to be my crew’s favorite butter. Testers took note of its exceptionally smooth consistency and thick, creamy texture. When it came down to taste, folks were making notes of how fresh and flavorful this butter was and how the slight hint of salt really accentuated the flavor.

Since we were so stunned by this generic, I did a bit of digging to find out exactly what was setting Shurfine’s butter apart from the pack. Looking at the label, I could pinpoint exactly where the cream for this butter came from with its plant code. Using Where Is My Milk From? to search, I found out this butter hails from Greenwood, Wisconsin, and the same dairy that produces Grassland butter. This detective work paid off, and we’re happy to know that our butter comes from a farm not too far away — always a bonus.

$4.59 per pound; available at independent grocers nationwide

Finding the Best Butter: Butter Taste Testing

Takeaways

The differences are subtle.

When it came to choosing the best butter, know that we’re talking about incredibly small differences from one brand to the next. Since all these butters contain only two ingredients — cream and salt — the results are all similar. It essentially comes down to the flavor of the ingredients themselves. However, we Wisconsinites here are pretty happy that our two favorite butters both hail from our state! Shows you that we aren’t called the Dairy State for nothing!

Price is a poor predictor of taste.

Going into this test, I was 100 percent certain that our pricier butter options would rise to the top. After all, why would butters like Kerrygold and Land O’Lakes European Style cost so much if they weren’t worth it? But in the end, our top picks included our two least expensive and our priciest brand.

It’s all good.

When it comes down to it, all butters are pretty darn good. Of course, a few testers walked away with a new brand they’d want to see on their short-stack, but overall, we don’t think that the differences are quite enough to make significant changes to your favorite recipes.

Would Matt Damon Really Move His Family Because of Donald Trump?

Every once in a while, you hear something about someone you've known for quite a while that sounds a little too uncharacteristic of them to be true. Like, you know them enough to know, "Hey, something is a little weird about this, right?" Which is exactly what happened when I heard a wild rumor earlier this week that Matt Damon was considering moving his family to Australia because he disagrees so strongly with the way that President Donald Trump is running the country.

More: Matt Damon Apologized for His Comments About the Sexual Misconduct in Hollywood

A rumor emerged via Page SIx that Damon was sincerely considering heading to Australia with his family in tow, apparently because he disagrees so strongly with Trump about what's happening here in the United States. At the time, Page Six claimed they had it on good authority that Damon had purchased a home in Byron Bay, New South Wales (right next door to Chris Hemsworth, with whom Damon starred in Thor: Ragnarok). A source also claimed that Damon's move was motivated by his sincere dislike of Trump's policies (although there are quotes from Damon on this specifically) and that he was willing to make the move work. "Matt’s saying the move will not impact his work — as he will travel to wherever his projects are shooting. He’s also telling friends he wants to have a safe place to raise his kids," the source told Page Six.

Now, listen, I get it. Things are, to put it mildly, not so good right now if we take a quick assessment of Trump's administration and his handling of various tasks, policies and personnel. To hear that someone like Damon, who definitely has the means and the ability, might pick up and ship out because he — as a very political and outspoken person — doesn't like what Trump's doing here kinda makes sense. But dudes, that's not what Damon's about.

To show it, on Friday morning, Damon's rep squashed these rumors. "Matt has visited Australia several times recently, but he has not bought a house there nor is he moving there," the rep told Newsweek on Friday. So, it sounds like Damon has no plans to leave the United States, and we can all rest easy.

Plus, the work Damon's doing here, speaking from a sociopolitical angle, is too important to ditch. Along with his pal Ben Affleck, he's promised to adopt the inclusion rider policy at his production company, Pearl Street. He's been working with Water.org to ensure that people with little to no access to clean water actually get said access. And while Damon has been outspoken about Trump in the past, there are no indicators that he'd just turn tail and run right now. No way.

Damon's not going to let anyone force him out of his home or away from the epicenter of the work he does. That's just not his vibe.

Married Dancing with the Stars veterans Peta Murgatroyd and Maksim Chmerkovskiy can't help but share their love of dance with their toddler — despite once saying they hope their son stays out of the pro dance world. No matter what, this kid is going to have the best moves at every school dance.

“He loves music. We’re trying to introduce him to that every day," Murgatroyd said to Us of the couple's 14-month-old son, Shai. "He sits on our hip and we take him around the room and dance with him... He loves that.”

On Jan. 21, Murgatroyd posted a super-sweet video to Instagram of her dance moves with Shai, whom she refers to affectionately as "ShuShu." Her caption: "ShuShu getting me ready for #MVPLive! Whose coming?! This little cutie might make some guest appearances...."

Murgatroyd and Chmerkovskiy have been on a dance tour with Chmerkovskiy's brother, fellow DWTS star Val Chmerkovskiy — so Shai is constantly surrounded by fleet-footed Foxtrotting family. "Looking back at that first year of his life, he’s traveled quite a bit,” Maksim Chmerkovskiy told Us in February.

The couple had Shai in January 2017, married in July 2017 and say they are already rarin' for more children. “I can’t wait for more,” Chmerkovskiy told Us. Yeah, it's not your belly on the line, fella.

“He would have a baby every year if he could!” Murgatroyd added. “That means I would be constantly fat. I think three is a good number.”

Um, yeah — "constantly fat" is not the first phrase that comes to mind when we see Murgatroyd in mama mode, but OK.

Murgatroyd speculated on time frame: “Maybe in a year it would be nice. They would still be close in age.“ Murgatroyd also said she's not-so-secretly hoping for a girl next time. "I just love Shai so much, I don’t know how I would share that with another boy.” We're pretty sure she and Chmerkovskiy would manage just fine with a new generation of dancing Chmerkovskiy brothers, though.

Jennifer Garner & Josh Duhamel Talk Parenting a Gay Teen On-Screen

Jennifer Garner and Josh Duhamel aren't parents together in real life, but in their new film, Love, Simon, they play parents of a gay teen who's finding it difficult to come out. On Friday, during a Q&A session after a preview screening of the film, Garner and Duhamel were asked how they'd each handle it if their kids were to come out.

According to People, Garner and Duhamel had no trouble fielding the question. “I truly just want my kid to be happy and passionate about what it is that he loves,” Duhamel said of his 4-year-old son (with ex-wife, singer Fergie). “If he came out he was gay, so be it, if that makes him happy. I truly believe that’s what it would be and maybe it’s because I waited awhile before I became a parent.”

Garner — who shares Violet, 12, Seraphina, 9, and Samuel, 5, with ex-husband Ben Affleck — told the audience at the session that her kids already like to talk about whether or not they might marry a man or a woman. Said Garner, “My kids are growing up saying, ‘Someday when I get married, I don’t know if I’ll marry a man or a woman. That door is open in a way that it never has been and they really do know, ‘Oh this is so and so and this is his husband,’ and ‘this is so and so and this is her wife,’ and that has completely been normalized, at least for my kids and hopefully will be for this next generation.”

Garner also said she hopes her kids know she's someone they could talk to if they were struggling to come to terms with their sexuality. “I think it would be a conversation that somebody would be a part of, hopefully me," she said, "but somebody in their lives will be a part of from a much earlier stage, so that it wouldn’t be as involved with the teen angst. But I certainly, my kids would know that I would be super gung-ho.”

“No matter what, you love your kid,” Duhamel agreed. “No matter what.”

We are super gung-ho about these celeb parents' stances on loving their kids unconditionally — and excited that their new project amplifies the LGBTQ-positive parenting message. Love, Simon opens today, March 16.

Serves 2

Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 35 minutes | Total time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 4 green onions, diced (including the green part)
  • 2 garlic cloves, diced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1/4 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/4 teaspoon powdered ginger
  • 3 dashes ground black pepper
  • 6 egg roll skins
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup barbecue sauce, for dipping

Directions:

  1. Heat a large, nonstick skillet on medium heat, and add the ground pork. Use a spatula to break apart the meat so that it's in small pieces rather than in chunks.
  2. To the pan, add the onions, garlic, soy sauce, sesame oil, ginger and pepper. Stir together.
  3. Stir as the pork mixture is cooking until the meat is thoroughly cooked.
  4. Remove from the heat, and let cool for about 10 minutes.
  5. Spoon the pork mixture onto an egg roll skin, toward the side closest to you.
  6. Fold the left and the right sides of the skin toward the center and over the pork mixture.
  7. Then roll into an egg roll. Repeat for the remaining egg rolls.
  8. Heat a medium-size skillet on medium heat, and add the canola oil.
  9. Let the oil heat up just a bit, and then carefully add the egg rolls fold sides down to the pan. Depending on the size of the pan, they might need to be cooked in batches.
  10. When the bottom side of the egg roll turns a golden color, turn it over to another side.
  11. Once all sides are a golden color, transfer the egg rolls to a plate lined with a paper towel to drain off any excess oil.
  12. Serve while warm with barbecue sauce for dipping.

  3. Add the patties to the skillet, and let cook until the bottom sides of the pork are browned, then turn them over.
  4. Continue to cook until the pork is thoroughly cooked.
  5. Remove from the pan, and set the patties aside for a moment.
  6. Heat the same skillet on low to medium heat, and add the barbecue sauce, teriyaki sauce and wine. Stir together.
  7. Continuously stir as the sauce reduces. Let cook until the sauce thickens (about 10 minutes).
  8. On each bottom side of the slider rolls, drizzle a little bit of sauce.
  9. Add the pork patties to the rolls, and drizzle more sauce on top of each patty.
  10. Top with lettuce, purple cabbage and cilantro.

Serves 2

Prep time: 15 minutes | Cook time: 35 minutes | Total time: 50 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground pork
  • 1/3 cup chopped onion
  • 1 jalapeño, stem removed, seeded and chopped
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 3 tablespoons chili powder
  • 2 dashes ground cumin
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/3 cup water
  • 6 corn tortillas
  • 1/2 cup canola oil
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded lettuce
  • 1/2 cup shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 cup salsa

Directions:

  1. Heat a large, nonstick skillet on medium heat, and add the ground pork, onion, jalapeño, garlic powder, pepper, chili powder, cumin and salt. Stir.
  2. Continue to stir as the pork cooks. Stir in the water.
  3. Let cook until the pork is thoroughly cooked and the mixture thickens. Remove from the heat, and set aside for a moment.
  4. Heat a small skillet on medium heat, and add the canola oil.
  5. Let the canola oil warm for a moment. Using tongs, carefully put a tortilla into the oil, holding half the tortilla up so it's not in the oil to form a taco shell. Let the bottom side of the tortilla cook until it's a light golden color, and then turn it over to the other side.
  6. When both sides of the taco shell are a light golden color, remove it from the pan, and put it onto a plate lined with a paper towel. Repeat cooking the tortillas to make the remaining taco shells.
  7. Fill the taco shells with the pork mixture, and top with cheese, lettuce, purple cabbage and salsa.
  8. Serve while warm.

Here’s What You Need to Know About 'Psychic Orgasms'

$

In case you haven't heard the term before, "psycholagny" means the ability to reach orgasm without any genital stimulation. Since the word itself is something you’re more likely to encounter on the GREs than in casual conversation, it translates better as a “wet dream.”

While you might associate that term with people with penises having an erotic dream that leads them to orgasm, it’s not limited to this group of humans — people with vaginas have nocturnal emissions as well, and you don’t have to be a teenager for it to happen. A wet dream is a pretty good parallel to psycholagny because you don’t have to touch yourself to have an orgasm. You can just be having a sexy dream.

On Reddit, you can find a pretty in-depth description of a man who practices psycholagny. After experimenting with prostate stimulation, he says, he learned to recreate his experience with his thoughts alone. This concept isn’t new to some women, though — in 2010, Lady Gaga reported that she could achieve a mental orgasm: “Sense memory is quite powerful,” she said.

More: 5 Facts About Vaginas You Need to Know Now

We know that people with vaginas can’t always orgasm during penetrative sex with people who have penises, and that’s for many reasons, including the fact that it’s not as simple as penetration = pleasure. There’s an intellectual component as well. You might be able to get off when you’re alone, genital stimulation or not, because you’re calling the shots in regard to your sexual fantasy, unencumbered by another person, what you think is supposed to happen or how you’re supposed to feel.

If you want to try and learn how to think yourself into orgasm as well as expand your definition of the word, you might want to check out Barbara Carrellas’ online workshops, which help people learn the practice of "thinking off."

According to Dr. Barry Komisaruk, a researcher at Rutgers University and coauthor of The Science of Orgasm, how you think your way to orgasm is unique for everyone. “Some women use a combination of breathing exercises and fantasy, while others used their imagination and pelvic floor exercises," he told the Daily Mail in 2010.

Komisaruk’s research on women with spinal cord injuries suggests that pleasure doesn’t actually depend on the spinal cord exclusively. Three women in Komisaruk’s study had orgasms via stimulation of the vagina and cervix. In other words, there are numerous pathways to orgasm, and there’s way more going in the brain in regard to orgasm than we thought.

Psycholagny, also called the “psychic orgasm,” is better and more widely known in the BDSM community, according to Kinkly. It’s employed by folks in the dominant position and is also used in play, specifically instances involving chastity. You might achieve climax via the sound of your partner’s voice or if they’re creating a scenario for you in which they’ll talk you to the point of orgasm.

Of course, how psycholagny plays out in a partnership has a lot to do with communication between those involved. Dr. Wyatt Fisher, a licensed psychologist and porn-addiction counselor in Boulder, Colorado, says that it’s vital to consider the sex drive of folks if you’re going to bring psycholagny into your relationship.

“Often the higher-drive spouse must learn to reign in their drive while the lower-drive spouse must learn to flame their libido more," he explains. "Therefore, while psycholagny is easiest for the higher-sex drive spouse to execute, it’s more recommended for the lower-libido spouse because it can help them practice getting their mind engaged sexually by intentionally fantasizing to reach arousal, which can lead to deeper passion in their relationship.”

Because there’s such a taboo around female masturbation (talking about it and doing it), if you can orgasm without genital touching, by yourself or with a partner, you might think something is wrong with you. People with vaginas have been told that we’re supposed to be dependent on a person with a penis for an orgasm, that it is the only acceptable way to get pleasure (see: the Sex and the City episode where Charlotte worries about getting addicted to her vibrator and not being able to enjoy sex with a man). In other words, being able to get off without touch is a pretty big coup and an excellent tool to have in your pleasure arsenal.

USA Network delivered a pleasant surprise for fans of The Sinner this weekend by announcing that the series, the sleeper hit of last summer, will live to see another season. The crime thriller starring Jessica Biel and Bill Pullman drew nearly 4 million viewers each week and snagged the top spot on its night in total viewers.

In addition to consistently garnering a solid viewership, The Sinner was critically well received. It earned 8 out of 10 stars based on more than 26,000 user reviews on IMDb, and it scored an impressive 94 percent on Rotten Tomatoes. The biggest issue fans and critics seem to have with the series was that it was originally billed as a self-contained story — a miniseries, essentially. As problems go for TV shows, having fans be outraged because they want more is probably a pretty good one to have, eh?

After the incredible finale, rumors began to circulate that perhaps the network would find a way to bring the show back for a second season. However, the buzz was largely hearsay... until now.

According to TVLine, USA decided to move forward and has a second season already in the works. There's just one snag: as of right now, it does not look like Biel will return as series regular Cora Tannetti. While the network declined to confirm with all certainty that Biel would not reprise her role, they did note that she would remain on as an executive producer. So, there's that.

Instead of continuing Cora's story, The Sinner will focus on a new case, the murder of an 11-year-old boy — a case being described as "unsettling and heart-wrenching." The logline for the second season reads, "As Ambrose realizes there's nothing ordinary about the boy or where he came from, the investigation pulls him into the hidden darkness of his hometown."

If fans learned anything from watching the first season, it's that Pullman's Detective Ambrose has hidden darkness aplenty to overcome. Season 2 could offer more insight into his fractured psyche as well as introduce a complex new character.

"He's pitted against those who'll stop at nothing to protect its secrets," the logline continues, "and a mysterious woman who proves to be a complicated, enigmatic piece to this haunting puzzle."

While the first season was based on (and told the entire story of) a book by Petra Hammesfahr, it's not as though The Sinner will be reinventing the wheel by furthering the series with fresh material. Big Little Lies, for instance, opted to create a second season following outcry from fans over the popular series' end. Also based on a book, Big Little Lies will work with author Liane Moriarty to help shape the show's direction moving forward.

It remains to be seen whether The Sinner will look to Hammesfahr for creative guidance but, either way, fans can celebrate that there will now be a Season 2. And even if Biel doesn't star (fingers crossed for a cameo!), the fact that she'll still be there behind the scenes suggests that the show will once again surpass expectations.
