A Ranking of the Most Ridiculous Storylines That Ever Happened on Pretty Little Liars

It only seems appropriate, with Pretty Little Liars soon coming to an official end, that we should examine some of the most ridiculous storylines to have ever occurred on the Freeform series.

More: Pretty Little Liars: 10 Reasons Ezra May Be Charlotte's Killer

Yes, this show has always been over-the-top and we recognize that it is pure fiction, but there is no denying that sometimes PLL has gone way too far. Actually, some of the moments are beyond stupid. As much we have enjoyed the series, it has also rubbed us the wrong way — multiple times. Also, let's face it: it would probably take seven seasons to gather all the most ridiculous storylines, just like it's taken the Liars seven seasons to figure out who has been torturing them for years. Oh, wait, they haven't figured that out yet.

With that, let's examine these ludicrous storylines by ranking them from bad to the absolute worst. There may only be a handful listed, but that's because these are the ones that stood out the most.

24. The overall fashion

Pretty Little Liars has the most ridiculous fashion
Image: Giphy

The fashion on PLL tells a story in itself, but what's so infuriating about it is that no one in high school dresses like this.

23. The pig in the trunk

PLL pig discovery

PLL pig discovery

Remember when the Liars plus Mona opened up the trunk of Wilden's car and found a dead pig? Yes, it was gross, but it was a total letdown. The way the stars and creator I. Marlene King teased the reveal made it seem like something so major. The Season 3 finale left fans wondering what was in the trunk, so to discover it was only a pig? Come on, PLL, you're better than that.

22. The "reveal" of Charles

PLL dollhouse

PLL dollhouse

When the Liars were kidnapped and left to fend for themselves inside the dollhouse, it made for one of the more memorable moments of the show. What made it frustrating was when Charlotte (then known as Charles) came up behind Spencer. Rather than turning around and ripping off the mask like a normal person would, Spencer stood still and uttered, "Is that you, Charles?" Really? By the time she turned around, Charles was gone.

21. Ashley Marin and the ghost

PLL ghost story

PLL ghost story

During the Season 3 Halloween episode, Ashley encountered a creepy little girl ghost. It was beyond strange and left fans with so many questions. Apparently, PLL transitioned into a supernatural show for a second.

20. Beach Hottie

PLL beach hottie

PLL beach hottie

Will we ever know who the mysterious Beach Hottie is? Charlotte assumed it was Wilden, but it was never actually confirmed. Bustle spoke with King in April and she didn't even seem to know Beach Hottie's identity. "I thought that was Wilden. Wasn’t that Wilden?" she said. "I’ve got to look it up, but I’ll get back to you on that." OK, so is it Wilden or not? Why incorporate such a confusing storyline and character? Maybe it will be revealed in the series finale.

19. "Jailhouse Rock"

PLL Jailhouse Rock

PLL Jailhouse Rock

Don't get me wrong, we love a good musical, especially when it involves Elvis Presley music. However, in Season 7, Aria's dream featuring Mona singing "Jailhouse Rock" was super random. This is what the drama has come to.

18. Noel Kahn's head

Noel Kahn's death

Noel Kahn's death

PLL isn't afraid to take murder to the next level. That's exactly what happened when Noel Kahn had his head chopped off. His head literally rolled down the stairs, too. It was a moment that was hard not to let out a little laugh because it was so over-the-top. Also, did anyone really care about Noel?

17. The Liars forgiving Ali

Alison being forgiven on Pretty Little Liars is so wrong
Image: Giphy

We will never understand why Emily, Spencer, Aria and Hanna ever forgave Ali. Yes, people make mistakes and can change. Yes, Ali didn't have the best upbringing, but she was a horrible human being. She was beyond awful and just plain cruel at times. Nope, that's not someone we'd want in our lives, and it doesn't make sense why the Liars would, either.

16. Ezra, aka The Creeper

Pretty Little Liars' Ezra is a total creeper
Image: Giphy

It's really disturbing how many people actually want Ezria to work out in the long run. As much as we have adored Ezra at times, he is a total creeper. It's sad how often people overlook the fact that he got involved with an underage girl who was also his student. Sorry not sorry, Ezra, but you should be in jail, not marrying your former student.

15. Every older guy who pursued these high school-age girls

The male characters on Pretty Little Liars are creepy
Image: Giphy

What is with PLL writing storylines about older guys wanting to get with high school girls? It is mind-boggling how this is seen as totally OK. Wren, Ezra, Wilden, Ian, Holbrook, Jake... the list is frighteningly long.

14. Spaleb

Spaleb

Spaleb

PLL putting Spencer and Caleb together is like when Friends tried to make Rachel and Joey happen. Neither relationship should have ever been a thing.

13. The DiLaurentis/Hastings/Drake family tree

PLL Mary Drake

PLL Mary Drake

This family tree has just gotten ridiculous — and it's really hard to keep track of. If you think about it, not only is Spencer Jason's half-sister, but she is also his cousin. It is way too much to handle.

12. The mask maker

PLL's mask maker

PLL's mask maker

In Season 4, Aria, Hanna and Emily visited a mask maker with ties to Ali. Of course, Emily agreed to let this super creepy mask maker put plaster all over her face to make a mask. Who in their right mind would do that?

11. Ella and the bees

PLL's Ella

PLL's Ella

Getting attacked by bees would be absolutely terrifying, but the way this played out was ridiculous. Aria literally stood still as she watched bees attack her mom inside a car. Maybe she was in shock, but Aria managed to find her voice and yell at her mom. This is when you run over and try to get your mom out of the car, Aria!

10. Emily's dad is Spider-Man

PLL Emily's dad

PLL Emily's dad

Before Emily's dad died, he took on the hero role and actually scaled the side of Rosewood High School to save his daughter. She got trapped inside by A, and her dad came to the rescue. Just watching him act like Spider-Man was entertaining. These things only happen in Rosewood.

9. Tippi, the bird

PLL's Tippi

PLL's Tippi

Oh, Tippi. Who knew a bird could hold so many clues and answers? What ever happened to Tippi? Does A.D. have her? It's hard to keep track of every character's whereabouts.

8. Spencer's bone corset

PLL corset

PLL corset

This was a bit much, even for PLL. You're also telling us that when Spencer put on her wedding dress to model that neither she nor anyone else noticed there were finger bones in her corset? Come. On.

7. Paige and Emily's romance

Paige & Emily

Paige & Emily

Remember that time Paige drowned Emily? Yeah, that was a lovely moment. So much so that Emily and Paige ended up as love interests. Um, OK? It would make sense that the person who shoved your head underwater would be someone you'd end up falling for (side note: this is pure sarcasm).

6. Hanna goes to the dentist

PLL Hanna tooth

PLL Hanna tooth

When Hanna went to the dentist and woke up with a message from A hidden inside her tooth, it was so bananas. It was like a tiny scroll was hanging out in her mouth. Anything and everything happens on this show, that's for sure.

5. Mona's blood

PLL Mona

PLL Mona

This was ridiculous, even for Mona. She planned her own death by drawing her own blood into vials. She then used said blood to make her house look like a murder scene in order to frame Ali for her death. If anyone knows how to fake their death in style, it's Mona.

More: It's Highly Likely Pretty Little Liars' Ali Has Been Big Bad All Along

4. When Ali drugged her friends

PLL Ali

PLL Ali

Here is yet another reason we would never want to be friends with Ali. That time the Liars, including Ali, spent the night in Spencer's barn, they didn't just pass out from drinking too much. They passed out because Ali drugged them so she could figure out who was sending her the threatening texts. She seriously is the worst person ever.

3. Jason dated his sibling

PLL Charlotte & Jason

PLL Charlotte & Jason

When we learned that Charlotte was actually Jason and Ali's sibling, it was shocking. It quickly became a messed up situation when it dawned on us that Jason dated his sibling, when she was going by CeCe Drake. No, PLL, this is not OK. Similar to that Jenna and Toby storyline, this incest plot line should have stopped before it even started.

2. Ali carrying Emily's baby

PLL Ali & Emily

PLL Ali & Emily

We dreaded this would become a reality. Ali is pregnant with Emily's child (the dad is still unknown). A.D. stole Emily's eggs and then implanted them in Ali. Let's be clear that all of this was without Ali or Emily's consent. Both of their bodies were violated for this to happen. It's not only ridiculous but upsetting.

1. Toby's do-rag

PLL's Toby do-rag

PLL's Toby do-rag

Yes, Toby's do-rag is the most ridiculous storyline. Seriously, who thought this was a good idea? While he was in juvie, he actually wore a do-rag. Why did anyone think this was OK? Toby, you are never permitted to wear a do-rag ever again.

We have a feeling even more crazy moments will ensue before the series comes to an end. The two-hour Pretty Little Liars series finale airs Tuesday, June 27, at 8/7c on Freeform.

Some mornings, it takes the strength of the lyrics of Lady Gaga to motivate myself to roll out of bed and start my day. The same can be said, of course, for Starbucks. That's why the new partnership between Lady Gaga and Starbucks makes total sense — the two are conspiring to make our days a little better.

More10 Low-Calorie Starbucks Drinks Perfect for Summer Sipping

Starting today, June 13, Starbucks is partnering with Gaga to launch four new rainbow drinks as part of the Cups of Kindness campaign launched by Gaga’s Born This Way foundation, whose mission is to spread kindness among young people.

The rainbow lineup features the new Matcha Lemonade (Gaga's favorite of the collection) and a new Violet Drink, plus the already popular Pink Drink and Ombré Pink Drink.

Gaga

According to Starbucks, Matcha Lemonade is an iced green beverage made with matcha green tea and crisp lemon. The Violet Drink blends blackberries and hibiscus with creamy coconut milk (mmm). Even better, they're all non-dairy and under 150 calories for a grande size — meaning they're relatively guilt-free.

For each purchase between June 13 and 19, Starbucks will donate 25 cents to Gaga’s Channel Kindness project, a part of her foundation that empowers young people to document stories of kindness.

Hey, we're all for adding some colorful caffeine to our day for a good cause, so we'll definitely be hitting up S-bucks this week.

Julia Stiles is all love right now, with her first baby on the way.

Her rep confirmed yesterday to People that Stiles is pregnant. No word yet on exactly how far along she is, but Stiles and her fiancé, Preston J. Cook, are said to be happily awaiting the arrival of their baby later this year.

Didn't know Stiles was engaged? Neither did we. Stiles and Cook have kept a pretty low profile since their Christmas Eve 2015 engagement in Isla Grande, Colombia.

Stiles admitted in 2016 she's kind of a slacker bride-to-be. “We’re really slow on the wedding planning so I haven’t really been soliciting advice. Somebody told me about radical empathy, but I’m still trying to figure out what that means. I’m trying to figure out what makes it radical.”

Stiles and Cook — a camera operator whose credits include working on The Revenant and the upcoming remake of Overboard — met on the set of the 2015 film Go with Me.

How to Survive Father's Day With Your Kids After the Death of Their Dad

$

0

In the lead-up to Father’s Day — the gift-buying, the celebration preparation — it’s easy to forget that for many, this particular Sunday in June can be full of emotional landmines.

That’s the case for parents whose spouses have died and left behind kids. Bereavement experts recommend that surviving parents plan ahead for Father’s Day, however painful that might be — and that they carve out time for self-care to stay emotionally balanced.

More: 11 Awesome Summer Reads for Tweens & Teens

Before the day

Families dealing with a father’s death should have a conversation about expectations and desires before Father’s Day arrives, says Dr. Joanne Cacciatore, an associate professor with a graduate certificate in trauma and bereavement at Arizona State University. Cacciatore suggests asking, "Do you want to celebrate it, or is there another word that better expresses what you would rather do on that day?"

If there are two children in the family who seem to have different ideas about how to spend the day — one says "celebrate" while another says "remember" — Cacciatore says that the parent should ask them specific questions. "I would say something like, 'What does it mean for you to celebrate or remember Dad?'"

Father Vincent Corso, a hospice social worker who founded grief and loss organization Compassion Identity, says that depending on the child’s age, parents can offer observations and ask questions about how they’re experiencing the buildup to the day too, whether they’ve seen the Hallmark displays or encountered any gift ads online.

The conversation can also be an opportunity for parents to talk about how the holiday affects them — which is critical.

"It is so hard for the surviving parent to talk about their husband that sometimes they don’t do it, or they feel as if they don’t want to burden the kids with it, and parents really do model how to grieve for their children," says Corso. "So the kids need to see that it’s appropriate behavior."

And it’s never too late to start modeling that behavior. Cacciatore suggests that parents who feel they haven’t done a great job can say exactly that to their kids: "I’d like to have an honest conversation about Dad with Father’s Day coming up. I haven’t done a very good job being honest with you about my own emotions, and if I don’t do that, how can you be honest with me about your emotions?"

On the day

It’s up to each family to decide the best way to spend the day, experts agree. "A number of families I work with write letters and take cards to the cemetery," says Cacciatore. This can be an especially nice gesture for children who might be too young to remember the deceased parent.

One mother she worked with takes a picture of her son and includes it in a card, which she addresses to her son’s father. She writes about her son’s milestones, what he’s been doing and saying, and she’s saving each one to give to her son when he reaches adulthood.

Corso points out that young children might not have a large bank of memories of the parent they lost. "It’s important for photographs and scrapbooks to be put out," he says, adding that he’s worked with families who asked friends or colleagues of the deceased parent to “talk to the child, in a formal way — write something down in a letter or create a video or audio file for the child about who the parent was and what he did."

Corso also mentions "memory boxes" — containers full of objects that remind the child of his or her parent, or things that were important to dad.

Tangible, visible items can help children feel connected to a parent who’s no longer there — which is why Corso believes a handwritten or typed and mailed letter from a friend of Dad’s is more powerful than, say, an email.

A gentle landing

"Part of being a surviving parent is being good to yourself," says Corso. He thinks finding someone to talk to, whether or not that person is a professional therapist, is important for anyone surviving the loss of a partner, especially when kids are involved.

"Many people just kind of walk away and can’t deal with death," he explains. Finding a person or very small group of people with whom you can talk about this is very important. Meditation, deep breathing exercises or other relaxation techniques can also help parents cope with strong emotions.

And carving out time to feel all the emotions is something to consider. Corso suggests surviving parents could set aside a 10- or 15-minute block of time before or on Father’s Day to light a candle, put out a photograph of the person who died, set a timer in another room and then sit with the person. "Speak to them, cry, rant, whatever you need to do," he says, "then let the timer go off and be done with it. It’s like trying to put the contents of a tidal wave into a thimble if you don’t manage the time that you’re giving for the grief."

More: Sheryl Sandberg on Navigating Life After Loss

Cacciatore recommends targeted journaling too — writing a letter to the person who died, which might not be entirely positive. Sometimes surviving parents might feel shortchanged or wish their spouse had taken better care of himself, and that’s OK (and normal) to acknowledge and process.

"It’s important to remember that Father’s Day is not always a celebration — sometimes it comes with a lot of pain and grief," she notes.

Diddy Is the World's Highest-Paid Celeb on a Technicality, According to Forbes

Let's do a thought experiment: Think of who you might peg as the highest-paid celebrity on the planet. Definitely Beyoncé, maybe a Kardashian, Jenner or both. But '90s rappers that no one has thought about in years like Diddy? Uh, no way.

More: What Happens in the Met Gala Bathroom Never Stays in the Met Gala Bathroom

Apparently, Forbes didn't get that message. Forbes' Celebrity 100 is out, and topping the list of celebrities who made bank in 2016 is one no one saw coming: Diddy. Yes, this is real.

"I ain’t foolin’ around...I'm building assets," Diddy told Forbes back in 1999, which was, coincidentally, the last time he was relevant. It turns out Diddy nabbed the top spot on a technicality. According to Forbes, he made $130 million pre-tax, but an estimated $70 million (more than half of that income) comes from the 2017 sale of his clothing line, Sean John. Without that sale, he'd come in at $60 million, enough to land him somewhere around the middle of the Top 100. Predictably, Beyoncé comes in at No. 2, with $105 million in revenue thanks to her Formation World Tour and the release of Lemonade, but it's still wild to think that someone who's been enjoying such prominent success as she did in 2016 is second banana to a low-key power player.

In third place this year was Harry Potter author J.K. Rowling, who saw buckets of profits from the release of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child. Drake came in fourth place and Real Madrid soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo rounded out the top five.

What's a little surprising and very disappointing about the list is that out of the top 100, only 16 are women. Even more disheartening is the fact that not a single actress was named — not counting reality stars like Kylie Jenner and Kim Kardashian.

More: Diddy Arrested for Unbelievable College Football Brawl

Considering how many badass ladies there are in Hollywood, I definitely think they deserve a lot more than 16 spots on a list of 100. How about half? Can we get equal representation on the Forbes 100 list please? That should be the goal for next year: 50 women in the 100 highest-paid celebs. Let's get to work.

Just when you think Days of Our Lives is done with bringing back fan favorites, head writer Ron Carlivati writes up one more storyline that is sure to make fans happy. Eileen Davidson, who is currently starring on The Young and the Restless as Ashley Abbott, will be back on DOOL this fall.

According to TVLine, the assumption that Davidson will be playing Salem’s nutty Kristen DiMera might not be correct. A DOOL representative told the site that “the exact role — or roles — Eileen will be playing this time around is strictly under wraps. It’s all a big surprise for the audience.”

This isn’t a major surprise given the fact that Davidson has played multiple roles on the NBC soap — from lookalike Susan Banks to Susan’s three siblings — Thomas, Penelope and Sister Mary Moira. These delicious storylines were all a part of Davidson’s time on DOOL beginning in 1993.

More: DOOL Confirms Kassie DePaiva's Return & It Is the Best News Ever

Davidson has talked about how difficult it was playing multiple roles while on DOOL. Even though it was a terrific challenge for her as an actress, it did take its toll. "[The producers] worked me to death. I was going to leave after the first year I played Susan. And they asked me to stay an additional year to finish off the storyline, so I did. It was a great, great, great thing for me," she said in the book Soap Opera 451: A Time Capsule of Daytime Drama’s Greatest Moments. “I would do something like this again, but I would want to know a beginning and an end date.”

Rest assured, her role on Y&R is secure, especially since she’s only doing a guest arc on DOOL. Her reps confirmed to TVLine that Davidson began filming on June 5 and her scenes will begin airing in time for November sweeps.

Megyn Kelly Under Fire for Interviewing Sandy Hook Hoax Theorist

Megyn Kelly's switch from Fox News to NBC was pretty highly anticipated. But now that she's made her debut on the new network, she's faced hardly anything but criticism.

More: Putin Wants You to Know That He Doesn't "Have Bad Days" Because He's Not a Woman

First, there was her exclusive sit-down with Russian president Vladimir Putin during which she lobbed softball questions amid a federal investigation into Russia's involvement in November's U.S. election. Now, she's under fire again for her decision to air an interview with one of the most controversial names in media today: Infowars creator and conspiracy theorist Alex Jones.

Kelly's interview with Jones is set to air this Sunday, June 18, which is just bizarre timing; Kelly was scheduled to host a benefit for victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting on June 14, while Jones has maintained publicly for years that the shooting was a hoax.

Sandy Hook Promise, the gun violence-prevention organization behind the Promise Champions Gala, announced in a statement its decision to rescind its invitation to Kelly to host the event.

More: 11 Things We Bet You Never Knew About Megyn Kelly

"This decision was spurred by NBC’s planned broadcast of Kelly’s interview with conspiracy theorist Alex Jones, who believes the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary in Newtown, CT, was a hoax," the statement read.

Nicole Hockley, a co-founder of Sandy Hook Promise whose 6-year-old son Dylan was killed in the shooting, also released a statement, saying, "Sandy Hook Promise cannot support the decision by Megyn or NBC to give any form of voice or platform to Alex Jones and have asked Megyn Kelly to step down as our Promise Champion Gala host. It is our hope that Megyn and NBC reconsider and not broadcast this interview."

Meanwhile, J.P. Morgan Chase has pulled its ads during Kelly's Sunday show, and she's received criticism from other big names on Twitter, including Chelsea Clinton, who wrote, "There is no justification for amplifying lies (or a liar), particularly about unimaginable tragedy. I hope no parent, no person watches this."

Yates was the acting attorney general before being fired by President Donald Trump for refusing to support his Muslim travel ban, and while being publically fired by a sitting president might not typically be the type of thing you'd boast about, Yates has been resolute in standing by her actions.

Yates delivered a commencement speech to graduates of Harvard Law in late May, and parts of her speech directly addressed the controversy and what it meant to lose her job while acting according to her conscience. Her message to new law grads was simple: do what's right — no matter the cost.

"I’m hoping that fear of being wrong won’t keep you from acting,” she said. “Because inaction, doing nothing, or simply going along, that’s a decision, too, and it seems the times in my life that I haven’t acted, that’s when I’ve regretted it the most.”

My god, do I miss Oprah. We need Oprah now more than ever. Can you imagine having mother-flipping Oprah deliver your commencement speech? Well, grads at Smith College were treated to just that.

Her speech was peak Winfrey, as she encouraged grads to be true to themselves, use their unique personalities to find their calling in the world and work tirelessly to make the world a better place. She also urged grads to question their purpose and let life guide them to service.

"You ask the question, How can I be used? Life, use me," she told the assembled students. "Use me, show me through my talents and my gifts, show me through what I know, what I need to know, what I have yet to learn, to be used through the greater service to life. You ask that question and I guarantee you, Smithies, the answer will be returned and rewarded to you with fulfillment, which is really the major definition of success for me."

Clinton's commencement speech was filled with a few on-point digs at Trump (speaking of her own graduating class back in 1969, she said, "We were furious about the last presidential election of a man whose presidency would eventually end in disgrace, with his impeachment for obstruction of justice, after firing the person running the investigation into him at the Department of Justice"), but she spoke primarily about the power of optimism, hard work and resistance.

"I believe with all my heart that the future of America, the future of the world, depends on brave, thoughtful people like you insisting on truth and integrity right now, every day,” she said. “You didn’t create the circumstances, but you have the power to change them. Don’t be afraid of your ambition, your dreams, or even your anger. Those are powerful forces, but harness them to make a difference in the world."

Students at Maine's Colby College were treated to a commencement speech by America's sweetheart, former vice president Joe Biden.

After starting his speech by taking a selfie and declaring "It's time to break the internet!" to raucous cheers, Biden got serious and urged students to stay engaged in the political process, "Don’t fool yourself into thinking that disengaging from the system that you think is broken will hold you harmless from the system’s failures," he warned. "It’s absolutely essential for you to engage in the world around you... You must maintain that determination and commitment to making things better... So you have to engage, you have to be involved even in this dirty business of politics. You have to, for your own safety’s sake. And I have no doubt you will, because you must.”

Biden also made a pointed remark about the current president, quoting Plato: “The penalty good people pay for not being involved in politics is being governed by people worse than themselves.”

Usually you can count on alcohol to help take the edge off after a slew of anxiety-inducing political headlines — but what happens when the booze itself becomes political?

Smirnoff Vodka, which has Russian roots, is playing on its heritage in its latest ad campaign by teasing the controversy over the Trump campaign's ties to Russia. The ad reads: "Made in America. But we'd be happy to talk about our ties to Russia under oath."

Diageo — a British spirits giant that owns tons of other spirits brands — owns Smirnoff, which can be traced back to 19th-century vodka. Smirnoff even takes credit for inventing the Moscow mule in 1941.

"Smirnoff has been made in America for more than eight decades," a spokesperson for Diageo said in a statement. "The recent interest in American-made products created the perfect opportunity to reinforce that fact and the brand's roots in Russia — with a wink and nod to current affairs."

As President Trump famously doesn't drink, he probably doesn't have a strong opinion about Smirnoff versus other vodkas (except for Trump Vodka, of course). That said, we look forward to seeing if Smirnoff's campaign earns a mention from Trump on Twitter. Stay tuned!

A highly restrictive abortion bill in Ohio sounds like something out of The Handmaid's Tale — so 16 women dressed for the occasion.

The 16 women, dressed in the red robes and white bonnets featured in Margaret Atwood's novel and recent Hulu series, sat in the statehouse chambers silently protesting what would effectively be a ban on abortions after 12 weeks — with no exceptions for rape or incest. Following testimony from bill sponsors, Republican Sens. Matt Huffman and Steve Wilson, the handmaids shuffled around the building silently in pairs. Similar demonstrations have taken place in Missouri and Texas.

Those in favor of the bill argue that the fetus can feel pain and that the procedure is inhumane. Ohio Right to Life views this bill as the next step in their plan to overturn Roe v. Wade. Those opposed point out that this is an entirely safe and legal medical procedure and that the bill is unconstitutional.

Huffman responded to questions about the bill from other senators, saying that it's the job of the legislators to create laws — not physicians, The Plain Dealer reported. Seven other states currently have similar laws on the books, but most are on hold while they are challenged in court.

Amber Rose & Piers Morgan Are at War Over Her Recent Racy Photo

Amber Rose is basically the queen of shutting down body-shamers. She knows she's hot. She's comfortable AF in her skin. She doesn't care who knows it. And she's been attacked for it more times than we can count, yet keeps showing up to fight that good fight. Bless.

More: Amber Rose, Victim of Home Invasion, Was Asleep During the Incident

Then there's Piers Morgan, who is on the opposite side of that fight and tends to treat women like a misogynist would treat women. We're not calling him any names specifically, but draw your own conclusions based on his garbage behavior.

The two celebrities, seemingly polar opposites on issues of gender and sexuality, clashed earlier this week when Rose posted a downright gorg shot of her gorg body to promote the upcoming SlutWalk, an event meant to celebrate women's bodies and fight victim-blaming. Unable to resist raining on Rose's parade, Morgan showed up to put in his two cents.

(Warning: The below image is NSFW)

Morgan responded to that piece of art by telling Rose to "put it away," and we can only assume he's referring to her pubic hair, which is on full, beautiful display in the photo.

That kicked off a Twitter feud between Rose and Morgan that would go on for days, which you can read in full below. Before you continue reading, I'd like to just point out this exchange between Morgan and one of his followers, where he admits to lecherously ogling Rose's exposed bush even as he slams her for putting it on display. It's all so, so icky, fam.

Anyway, Morgan followed up his first tweet with another distinctly whiny one about how things just aren't fair in the world for white men anymore.

Then Rose brought another example to the argument, and posted a photo of Adam Levine, naked except for the hands of a female model covering his naughty bits.

According to Morgan, though, that image is fine, because Levine shot it to support awareness for prostate and testicular cancers.

The fact that Levine using his body to raise awareness for that cause and Rose using her body to raise awareness for her cause (which is literally promoting discussion about equality for women) are different in Morgan's eyes is so thick with uncomfortable irony, we would think he's in on the joke. Except we know better because he has a well-documented history of saying these kinds of misogynistic things on social media.

Also, in his mind, it's seems like it's fine for men to be the only ones getting naked while advertising for a good cause. Morgan did so in the past and reminded us all of it when he reposted the ad on Twitter. Let's be real, though. What kind of a bullshit argument is that?

Is Sex Not Clicking With Your Partner? We're Here to Help

$

If we were to believe everything we see in movies and on TV, pleasurable sex is something everyone has, relatively effortlessly and on a regular basis. But it’s not that simple. Good sex involves more than just meeting someone you’re attracted to and getting down to business; it involves other factors like knowing our anatomy and our likes and dislikes and how to communicate them to our partner. According to sexpert and columnist Tyomi Morgan, there are four main things that hold us back from good sex, and she’s here to tell us how to fix them.

No matter how much you might want to have sex with someone, it doesn’t necessarily mean you are physically or emotionally a good fit. Here are some of the problems preventing you from having the best sex of your life and how to move past them.

More: What Are Edged Orgasms?

1. It's not working because: Shame or bad communication are holding you back

It’s important for couples to talk about sex to find what best works for them and how to establish a baseline of reality vs. expectations. Unfortunately, shame plays a huge part in couples, especially women, being uncomfortable with conversations about sex and pleasure.

“Remember that there is nothing wrong with talking about sex,” Morgan tells SheKnows. “Remove the shame from the subject. When two people don't communicate about why the sex is happening, when the sex will happen and how it is going to go down, the experience becomes a guessing game.”

What to do instead

Morgan’s suggestion: to be honest, authentic and speak in a form that is comfortable for you.

Don't be afraid to communicate in the ways that make it easier for you to not only pass on information but also to receive it. She suggests sending a text message about something you've seen about sex that you want to share with your partner and ask their opinion. Or write a short letter asking your partner a question about their sexuality so you can get to know more about what they desire.

Another option: Play a game where you write sexual questions and put them in a box and take turns pulling and answering or play a naughty truth or dare game that you can download from the app store. Have a casual conversation over dinner or drinks about the last experience you've had.

“Be as creative or as direct as you feel you need to be in talking about sex,” Morgan adds.

More31 days of orgasms: The masturbation challenge your body is begging you to take

2. It's not working because: You’re not using the right positions

According to Morgan, misunderstandings, misinterpretation in body signals, genital mismatch, lack of skill and lack of desire coming from one partner or even both all contribute to sex "not working out."

Remember: Sex positions are not one-size-fits-all. It’s important to try positions that work with your anatomy.

What to do instead

No, you can’t change your body, but you can change your position.

While there are all types of sex, these suggestions are specifically for penis-in-vagina penetrative intercourse. For those with wider vaginas paired with penises that don't measure up in girth, Morgan suggests trying positions that place the legs close together, allowing the vaginal canal to narrow.

People with narrower vaginas that are paired with penises with wider girth should try positions that widen the canal (for instance, legs spread wide or doggy style) or allow her to have control over the depth of penetration (woman on top).

Shallow strokes work for all vaginas because most of the nerves are concentrated at the opening and around the outer first third.

The takeaway: Positions matter just as much as stroke technique.

3. It's not working because: You need to take time to learn your body

Most of us know that penises vary in size, length and girth — but did you know the same goes for vaginas? And yes, this is totally normal.

“Every woman's vagina is a different shape and size,” Morgan explains.

What to do instead

Take the time to explore your body and appreciate its beauty.

“It is important for women to remember not to cast shame upon men who may not fit well for them and vice versa. This fact alone will save a lot of self-esteems from being deflated,” Morgan says.

MoreWhat 7 Women Wish Their Partners Knew About Getting Them Off

4. It’s not working because: You didn’t account for change

Both our bodies and our relationships with sex change over time — and that’s normal too.

According to Morgan, many believe sex remains constant through our lives. This couldn’t be further from the truth. Age/life experiences, partners and health all have effects on your sexual experiences. For women in particular, genetics, anatomy and childbirth can have an effect on vaginal shape and size.

What to do instead

Embrace the change.

“Don't hold an expectancy for your sexual desires and compatibility to remain the same over time. It will shift,” Morgan says. “Be patient with your growth and allow yourself to feel what you feel without judgment. It's our birthright to explore our sexual desires and to have pleasurable intimate experiences in love.”

NBA Champs Visit the White House Every Year, but Will Golden State Warriors?

It's pretty much customary for the NBA champion team to visit the White House for a congratulations from the president. But will that happen this year? Reports are mixed.

More: Smirnoff's New Ads Poke Fun at the Controversy Over Trump's Russia Ties

Rumors started swirling Tuesday that the Golden State Warriors had unanimously decided as a team that they would decline to visit the White House. That info seems to have originated with an unsubstantiated tweet.

First tweet about the Warriors White House visit

But in a statement, the Warriors denied those rumors.

"Today is all about celebrating our championship," their statement read. "We have not received an invitation to the White House, but will make those decisions when and if necessary."

More: Meryl Streep Is Being Forced to Work With Donald Trump

It's honestly kind of hard to picture the team going to the White House, though, at least with their head coach Steve Kerr in tow — he's been pretty outspoken with his criticism of President Donald Trump in the past.

"I don't care what side of the political spectrum you're on," Kerr has said. "People vote for all kinds of reasons, right? You vote for your pocket book. You vote for abortion rights or gay marriage or you vote for certain social policies or maybe foreign policy. Maybe you're worried about this or that. And that's what it should be about. You should vote based on policy. But this election had nothing to do with policy. It had to do with hatred and fear and we had a candidate who stirred that up, and I thought it was a horrible precedent for our country."

Warriors team members have also spoken out against Trump. Star player Stephen Curry responded less than positively when Kevin Plank, CEO of his sponsor Under Armour, called Trump a "real asset."

"I agree with that description," Curry said, "if you remove the 'et' from asset."

Another Warrior, David West, spoke out after the election, saying, "This whole fairy tale about this post-racial utopia that Obama supposedly created is all bull. That's the bottom line. When you look at what the results say from last night, this nation has not moved a thread in terms of its ideals."

7 Tips for Vacationing With Other Families

$

When my kids were young, we rented a house at the beach several times for a week with my best friend from college and her family. Almost a decade later, we all look back on those vacations and recall the fun we had hanging out together. It was a special time, and going away together created a special bond between us all that's still there to this day.

More: Where to take kids on vacation — & on a budget

While our memories of these trips are happy ones, the reality is that there were many moments of tension (and even arguments). In fact, after the first year, we were all surprised by our mutual agreement to try it again the following summer. Vacationing with other families can be stressful, particularly if you have different parenting styles or financial constraints. Being great friends doesn't always mean you're vacation-compatible. But if everyone is willing to communicate their needs and compromise, it can be a lot of fun.

Communicate parenting styles

Everyone parents differently. To vacation together, it’s important to discuss each family’s rules and style before you leave on vacation. On our first trip together, my friend and I discovered that we knew very little about each other’s parenting styles, even though we spoke on the phone daily. It took some adjustments and flexibility on all of our parts. Rules about bedtimes and sugary snacks had to be bent a little so that everyone could enjoy the vacation.

Outline vacation goals

Be honest about what your family’s vacation goals are. Do you like to sightsee or predominately sit on the beach all day? Do you prefer to cook at home or go to restaurants for every meal? Don't assume that you have the same idea about what it means to be on vacation. Be upfront before you start planning to go away together. Again, it's all about compromise. And if you find that you don’t share a lot of common vacation interests, it might be wise to reconsider...

Be considerate

When you're sharing a living space, you gotta be considerate of others. Be quiet in the morning if others are sleeping. Don’t leave clothes in common areas or dishes in the sink. If you are making a meal or going on a coffee run, ask if anyone else wants something. These little things can make a huge difference to your collective vacation experience.

Think about hiring help

We realized quickly that first summer that traveling with families is not relaxing like a pre-kids vacation. Renting a beach house meant we still had the same chores as we did at home (only with different scenery and a lot more sand to sweep up). The following summer, we decided to bring a sitter to help with the kids and allow us to have a few grown-up nights out. If you can’t hire help, consider taking turns with each other’s’ kids so all the adults get some downtime.

Discuss finances in advance

Make sure everyone is on the same page about the vacation budget. Will you split meals and groceries evenly or allocate? Whatever you decide is fine as long as everyone knows what to expect in advance.

Split up into different groups

One of the keys to a successful vacation with other families is not doing everything together. Even best friends can get on each other’s nerves and need some time alone or in a smaller group. On our trips, my girlfriend and I would go to spin class in the morning while our husbands took the kids to breakfast. In the afternoon, we would be on duty and our husbands would have some downtime. One or two nights we would each go to lunch or dinner with just our family. By spending some time apart each day, we were able to enjoy our time together more.

Stay positive

Things can go wrong on vacation, and you need to pack a positive attitude. One year, it rained for five out of the seven days we were at the beach. There was not much to do. Everyone was getting cranky and stir-crazy cooped up in the house. Rather than continue to complain, we really had to dig deep to come up with activities. So we completed a 1,000-piece puzzle, went to the arcade and power-walked in a torrential downpour (after which we ate the most delicious pizza ever.) On paper, it was one of the worst vacations we have ever been on, and yet we all still talk about that trip. It turns out you don’t need sunshine to create incredible memories.

What Your Zodiac Sign Says About the Kind of Co-worker You Are

$

By Liv McConnell

Have you ever wondered what kind of employee or boss people perceive you to be? Your zodiac sign might have something to do with it. See how astrology influences your approach to your job — and your co-workers’ approach to you.

Aries (March 21 – April 19)

As a cardinal sign, an Aries is a natural-born leader, a quality that’s exhibited perhaps nowhere more so than at their job. At their best, Aries makes for an enthusiastic, driven and innovative employee or boss, and their independent natures and disdain for routine makes them ideal entrepreneurial candidates. If there’s a new project or opportunity at hand, you can bet your Aries co-worker will be the first volunteer. But their gung-ho, yes-person attitude can come at a price, and they sometimes lack the discrimination to tell which projects are truly worthwhile and even feasible. That, and their bossy nature isn’t always the most appreciated. But what they might lack in judgment or tact they more than make up for in passion, and their fiery optimism is often contagious.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)

Taurus is all about quality in and out of the workplace, and they want to dedicate their steady, unwavering energies to ventures with a high-quality, bona fide return. That’s because Taureans knows the immense advantage their strong, dependable work ethic is capable of providing, and they’re certainly not looking for it to go waste. They also, it should be noted, require a good deal of security and are intensely practical people; thus, you’re less likely to find Taureans in the startup or freelancing world than other signs. They have a strong sense of discipline, making them ultra-reliable workers, but sometimes this same discipline can veer into overly stubborn territory. That said, you’d be hard pressed to find a harder, more dedicated worker than the Bull.

More: 6 Tips for Speaking Confidently in Meetings

Gemini (May 21 – June 21)

With their crackling-quick wit and innate charm, Geminis are natural salespeople and have no problem whatsoever talking clients into buying things they definitely don’t need or persuading their boss to give them another raise. And it’s not just their mouths that are quick; Geminis are noted for their indefatigable energy, and they’re likely to juggle several side gigs or hobbies at once alongside a full-time job. To stay at any one job for long, though, a Gemini requires a vast amount of stimulation, change and new challenges to tackle. Otherwise, they’re liable to grow bored and either pour their latent energy into crafting manipulative schemes (the dark side of their persuasiveness) or peace out altogether.

Cancer (June 22 – July 22)

Cancers are team players all the way, and thus these employees and bosses shine brightest in a work environment where culture and community are highly valued. A content Cancer is an asset to any workplace, bringing warmth and a spirit of camaraderie with them. But offend or criticize a Cancer co-worker, and there will be hell to pay, namely in the way they instantly become cold and reticent for an unforeseeable amount of time, much like a crab drawing into their shell. Being a cardinal sign, these people are also apt to take on responsibilities and take them on well, and when they feel their emotional needs are being met, they can make for intensely loyal team members.

Leo (July 23 – Aug. 22)

Oh, Leos. They not only crave recognition for their superior attributes as an employee or boss, they outright demand it. Their innate belief in their own exceptionalism, it must be admitted, isn’t entirely off mark. They do tend to make top-notch co-workers and bosses thanks to their warmth, gregariousness, generosity, competence and natural ability to lead. A Leo will fearlessly get the job done, and any so-called “adverse” circumstances will wind up trembling in their wake. All that said, the only thing standing between many Leos and true professional greatness tends to be their formidable ego, but if they can gain mastery over this, nothing — and we mean nothing — will stop them from achieving their goals.

Virgo (Aug. 23 – Sept. 22)

One word best summarizes Virgos — perfectionists. Meticulous, industrious and dedicated to their job to the point of justifiably being called a workaholic, employees and bosses under this sign are renowned for their intense drive and ability to deliver the premium goods. Certainly they have high standards — some would say unrealistically high — and they’re never ones to turn in incomplete or shoddy work. That said, it’s not only their own work they’re often critical of, and Virgos can be irritatingly quick to point out others’ flaws. This tendency to call out mistakes isn’t rooted in spite, though — not at all. Rather, the average Virgo simply can’t stomach what they perceive to be mediocrity, and they’ll always be pushing the quality of your team’s output forward.

Libra (Sept. 23 – Oct. 22)

Not unlike Geminis, Librans are liable to charm your socks right off with their affable demeanors and starry elocution styles. In other words, they’re also master communicators, but what sets them apart is their knack for diplomacy. Librans are unfailingly fair and levelheaded, qualities that make them indispensable in situations of warring egos and ruffled feathers in the office; leave it to those born under this sign to restore the balance (they are, after all, symbolized by scales). Conversely, too consistently stressful an environment will cause these harmony-lovers to retreat behind a mental wall, an ability that accounts for the rate at which this air sign is accused of being distant. For the most part, though, your Libran co-workers will bring an added sparkle to the workday.

Scorpio (Oct. 23 – Nov. 21)

Scorpions are best characterized, quite simply, as intense. The Scorpio in your office shouldn’t be hard to spot — you can recognize them by their unshakeable, almost disconcerting self-confidence. It’s of a quieter sort than the loud, brassy egos of fire signs, for instance; but, as they say, still waters run deep. When a Scorpio is committed to a goal, come hell or high water, it’s theirs to vanquish (and they do see it in those terms). Their acutely ambitious and highly secretive natures don’t naturally make them the best team players, but their razor-sharp, scarily perceptive minds and unconquerable spirits uniquely position them to succeed.

More: How to Make Smarter, Faster Decisions at Work

Sagittarius (Nov. 22 – Dec. 21)

Sagittarians are above all positive and idealistic people with a penchant for always being at the forefront of the action thanks to their fairly limitless reserve of energy. They make for productive, mobilizing and generally cheery workers, and they’re never the type to be out of ideas for new, innovative ways of approaching a situation. Not unlike Gemini, they require a good deal of stimuli to actually keep them invested in a project, and their frank, often blunt attitude isn’t best utilized in situations involving a need for tact. But if your office could use a consistently sunshiny burst of energy and optimism, look no further than a Sagittarius hire.

Capricorn (Dec. 22 – Jan. 19)

Capricorns were practically built to be a success in the working world, and as such, a good amount of their self-worth is tied to their professional standing. They crave the prestige and status that comes with being at the top of their career field, and they have the resolute, ambitious nature — tempered by a good deal of practicality — to get there. You won’t find them scrambling to get to the top, however; “slow and steady wins the race” is closer to the truth for those under this measured, logical earth sign. As status-oriented as they are, they can at times be accused of superficiality or elitism. But ultimately, Capricorns just love a good challenge, and they have the stamina to see it through.

Aquarius (Jan. 20 – Feb. 18)

The Aquarian worker is guaranteed to be an original, curious thinker; an innovative spirit; and a challenger of the status quo. Water Bearers’ main interest doesn’t lie in selfish gains, advanced titles or hefty paychecks (though, don’t get us wrong, sizable salaries are nice too). Rather, the average Aquarian requires the knowledge that their professional efforts are contributing to a greater cause or principle in some way. Occasionally, they can be accused of over-complicating matters; not every last detail in the workday needs to be analyzed for ethical merit, after all. But all in all, Aquarians are in possession of a wonderfully forward-thinking mind that can help keep their companies at the cutting edge of any industry.

Pisces (Feb. 19 – March 20)

The average Piscean possesses an acutely high-level imagination, giving them the ability to help actualize previously unforeseen futures and intensely innovative workplaces. Creative, compassionate and often introspective, the ideal work environment for people born under this sign tends not to be the traditional 9-to-5, but instead a space where their individualism is better valued. Pisceans can have difficulty relating to signs of a more practical bend, as to them, everything is abstract, and that can make for some rather disjointed work relationships. But so long as Pisceans are properly appreciated and given the space to be the avant-garde pioneers they are, these co-workers have the ability to bring your team to unimagined heights.

“I’m to hang with my divine husband and my kids and my sister. I’ve already been to Australia and saw my Momma, and it’s too far for her to travel, but my sister’s coming over with all her children. She has six kids. And that’s it for me. I don’t need any big parties or anything, I just need my family around me. If I have my family around me, I am happy.”

No big parties, nothing too fancy, a quick trip to Australia to see her mom, and the birthday girl is happy. HBO's Big Little Lies star has two children with her country-music-star husband, 8-year-old Sunday and 6-year-old Faith. Her little sis, Antonia Kidman, is an Australian journalist and will be traveling all the way from down under to wish her A-list sister a happy 50th.

Kidman’s most recent achievements include an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress in Lion, and the premier of her newest thriller, The Beguiled, with co-stars Kirsten Dunst, Elle Fanning, and Colin Farrell. But even her closest co-stars aren’t invited to the low-key gathering on June 20 for the actress’s milestone birthday. Just hubby, kiddies, sissy, and an easy-going night. Happy almost birthday, Nicole Kidman!

In an extremely chilling series of photos, Bill Cosby - beloved actor-turned-monster after three sexual assault charges and over 50 women claiming the same - and his wife Camille look like they’re on a regular old family outing as they arrive at the courthouse this Monday. It’s the first time she’s accompanied the comedian to any of his court hearings, which began six days earlier.

As of now, there are no plans for Camille to testify during the trial period, though she was “deposed in Feb. 2016 in a defamation case brought by several women who accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault,” according to ABC News.

Camille, 73, is seen walking arm-in-arm with her husband, 79, who dons a walking cane and black suit. The two have been married since 1964 and have four daughters, all of whom stand firmly behind Cosby and deny all claims of wrongdoing against him. His daughters have yet to attend, but his Cosby Show co-star and TV-daughter, Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy Huxtable, joined Cosby in support of “the truth,” which she told reporters is that he has done nothing wrong.

Despite all these allegations and the notion that this man would do something this horrific, and being sent to TRIAL for it, the Cosby’s seem unphased by the entire ordeal. The husband and wife must have a strong bond to be able to stay together as long as they have, especially through this. Then again, Melania Trump is still with her husband despite everything he’s done. I guess being in denial together about the world around you is the key to a good relationship? Hmm, I don’t think so.

Whatever the reason is for smiling their way through Monday’s proceedings, the couple have made it seem like this is just a silly misunderstanding; over 50 of these women are so silly to be saying the exact same things in regards to the exact same man. One can only wonder what it must be like to be so rich that sexual assault is no big thing. We may never know.
