Khloé Kardashian brags about her "sh**-talking" game

Ever wonder which of the Kardashian sister talks the most trash? Khloé Kardashian recently weighed in on the fine line between having a feisty tongue and being a hater.

Khloe Kardashian

Khloé Kardashian's been around the celebrity block long enough to have been tangled up in a bit of trash-talking, but is she guilty of throwing shade?

"I am a pretty good s**t-talker, but I don't think I am a hater. I am just a realist, so I don't know if that's shade," the wife of Lamar Odom, seen here showing off her sparkling ring at one of his games, said when asked if she ever cops an attitude with her famous sisters.

"But I am a pretty good... like I will just be like what the f**k are you guys doing. But it's not... it's more like s**t-talking and bantering back and forth."

Is Khloé really a Kardashian? Mrs. Odom's final statement>>

Though they've feuded here and there, the 28-year-old insists she, Kourtney and Kim Kardashian always have one another's best interests at heart.

"None of us... none of us are malicious but also don't block each other's blessings," Khloé explained during a visit with Swagger New York.

"If anything, for example, like my sisters the first week of X Factor were like 'You can do this.' They were like so supportive and uplifting, and they could have been like yeah... you shouldn't... If they wanted to, they could have, but we aren't like that. And that's what's phenomenal. So I don't know if we really block shade. I think it's more like sisterly criticism and back and forth."

Michael Strahan and Erin Andrews host pre–Super Bowl party

The celebrities were partying it up all weekend in New Orleans in honor of Super Bowl XLVII. Check out the hot event hosted by Michael Strahan and Erin Andrews.

Michael Strahan and Erin Andrews

While many of us were prepping snacks and decor for our simple Super Bowl parties, the celebrities were partying it up all weekend long in New Orleans. On Saturday night, Live with Kelly & Michael host Michael Strahan and FOX Sports reporter Erin Andrews hosted a swanky affair for Tequila Don Julio.

The event was held at the Audi Forum, where invited guests and friends joined the TV personalities for an evening celebrating football with cocktails and a three-course meal. Former NFL star Strahan even had his own signature cocktail called "The Stra" concocted with tequila, 7UP and pineapple juice.

The night was filled with familiar faces, from Modern Family's Sofia Vergara enjoying the cocktails with friends to Hollywood hotties Chace Crawford and The Hunger Games' Josh Hutcherson holding court in the VIP lounge. In fact, it was Hutcherson who hit the dance floor in his trucker hat and jeans to show off his moves.

In other celebrity action, film stars like Jeremy Renner and Movie 43's Anna Faris partied alongside TV stars like Vampire Diaries cast members Nina Dobrev and her beau Ian Somerhalder.

A majority of the room, including hosts Strahan and Andrews, were reportedly rooting for the San Francisco 49ers. Even though the Baltimore Ravens came out on top, however, we doubt it diminished anyone's New Orleans spirit and their love of a good party.

Lindsay Lohan: Is it really all her own fault?

$

Lindsay Lohan is constantly in a world of trouble — but is it really all her own fault? Mom says no, and before you laugh, you might want to hear her out.

Lindsay Lohan and Dina Lohan

The public has long seen Lindsay Lohan as a lost cause and her mom as her enabler, but in a new interview, Dina Lohan touches on some truths that actually make sense. The short version: Lindsay's problems might not be entirely her own fault.

Dina sat down for an exclusive interview with Mario Lopez and Extra to talk about her upcoming book, A Parent Trapped, and explained that, although Lindsay has chosen her own path, the people and situations around her have often been toxic.

Mario asked, "Do you think trouble finds Lindsay or Lindsay finds trouble?"

"A little bit of both," Dina admitted. "I really think she's a target, and since I am a single parent, I think they think there's a weaker link that she doesn't have as much protection around her."

She has a point. While there comes a time when you have to grow up and take responsibility for your own actions, stars like Lindsay are surrounded by leeches every day, and she certainly has not had the greatest family life.

Calling herself "a victim of domestic violence," Dina explained, "I don't really want to speak about that on camera, but I've been a single mom my whole life. I've had sole custody, and my other three have had no relationship with [Lindsay's dad, Michael Lohan]."

This isn't the first time Dina has faulted the past for Lindsay's troubled present. In January, she told the New York Daily News, "Lindsay saw her dad abuse me — that's why she's so screwed up," and went on to describe the physical and sexual terror she claims to have suffered at the hands of her ex.

It's no secret that people with troubled childhoods often grow up to be troubled adults. Is that a valid excuse for this starlet who's been under the microscope since before she hit puberty? The pressures of family, fame and career would be enough to make even the happiest, most well-adjusted kid crack. Would giving her the benefit of the doubt every once in a while be equal to enabling her?

Regardless, Dina says Lindsay is in a better place lately. She is back in New York — "She's safer at home," Dina says — and possibly enjoying a fledgling relationship with Max George. However, Dina coyly avoided a direct answer when Lopez flat out asked if he and Linds are dating.

"I can't go there — that's personal — but yes he's lovely," she said. "They are very good friends. He's a sweetheart."

Carrie Bradshaw's revolving door of boys is starting early. There's a new kid in town... except he's not so new. We've scoured the previews, sneak peeks, and insider sites to help score some juice on your favorite '80s flashback show, The Carrie Diaries.

The Carrie Diaries spoiler

It looks like next Monday we'll meet George, Carrie's next boyfriend. According to The CW, George is actually an old friend and the son of Carrie's dad's BFF, Harlan. As a matter of fact, IMDb says George has actually been in the past couple episodes of The Carrie Diaries... we just haven't been properly introduced. Very interesting....

It looks like when they meet up, sparks fly, but Carrie is unsure. After all, she still has a pretty big crush on the adorable Sebastian Kydd. Everyone is keeping mum on what exactly makes Carrie change her mind about George. However, we've seen pictures of Sebastian getting cozy with Carrie's arch nemesis, Donna LaDonna . If anything could eliminate Carrie's feelings in one fell swoop, it would probably be seeing Kydd with Donna. Yuck!

One way or another, George was gonna get her . By the next episode, the two will not only be a pair, but Carrie will end up making Thanksgiving dinner for her family, George and his dad.

But uh-oh! We've also heard the Sebastian ends up abandoned by his family on Thanksgiving. Will he end up at Carrie's dinner table, too?

We can't wait to find out! In the meantime, here's a little '80s music for you. Who do you think this theme song should belong to: Carrie? George? Sebastian? Maggie?

The Carrie Diaries airs Mondays at 8/7c on The CW. Enjoy the show.

Couple on date

If you’ve ever wondered what other people think about dating and relationships, now’s your chance to get a peek into the minds of Americans.

Dating by the numbers

The recently-released 2013 State of Dating in America Report netted some interesting results and we’re sharing them with you.

"Both men and women say their mothers have the biggest influence on who they marry."

Study details

According to the study, which surveyed more than 2,700 U.S. singles between the ages of 18 and 60, singles in America today are more progressive than ever when it comes to sex, living arrangements and gender roles, but still maintain traditional values when it comes to marriage and family.

The new report was jointly released by ChristianMingle.com, the largest and fastest growing online community for Christian singles, and JDate.com, the iconic community responsible for more Jewish marriages than all other dating sites combined. “Single adults make up an increasing portion of the American population. With the State of Dating in America survey, we wanted to get to the root of their views on relationships, sex, marriage and more,” said Greg Liberman, President and CEO of Spark Networks, which owns and operates both ChristianMingle and JDate. “The results provide unique insights into the minds of today’s singles as they navigate the ever-evolving dating and relationships landscape.”

Noteworthy stats

  • 87 percent of singles think online dating is a great way to meet people
  • Both men and women agree it is safer to meet someone through online dating than in a bar
  • 85 percent of singles say sex before marriage is acceptable
  • A majority of singles say it doesn’t matter whether the man or woman is the breadwinner
  • 78 percent of men believe the man should pay on the first date and 55 percent of women agree
  • 62 percent of 18 to 24-year-olds would be disappointed if they never got married
  • Both men and women say their mothers have the biggest influence on who they marry
  • Nearly three-quarters of singles are looking for a partner who shares their religious faith
  • All women surveyed believe passionately kissing another is considered unfaithful; 86 percent of men agree
  • 82 percent of women believe texting or online flirting is cheating; just 56 percent of men agree

What does it mean?

“The State of Dating in America report puts a microscope on what today’s singles really think and feel when it comes to dating,” said Rachel Sussman, marriage and family therapist and licensed clinical social worker. Sussman partnered with JDate and ChristianMingle to analyze the findings and provide her expert insights. “The results of the study are consistent with what I see day in and day out as I counsel singles and couples about the obstacles, issues and questions that arise while on the road to developing successful modern relationships.”

A good book is right up there with listening to a great song. Both give you freedom to let your imagination run wild. So in honor of the Grammys, we've paired nominated tunes with some of February's hottest books. Happy reading... and listening.

The Power Trip by Jackie Collins The Power Trip by Jackie Collins

Jackie Collins' latest novel delves yet again into the intriguing world of the rich and elite, but this time takes place on a state of the art luxury yacht off the coast of Mexico. And the cast of characters — a group of power-hungry people who think they rule the world — is just as entertaining as the plot. From an oil billionaire to a supermodel to a UK footballer, you'll be sucked into this fast-paced, entertaining plot as this group of mega-rich people realize they don't have as much power as they thought.

The Power Trip playlist:

  • Grammy-nominated LMFAO's "I'm Sexy And I Know It." What conjures the image of the rich and beautiful lounging on a yacht?
  • Grammy-nominated Fun.'s "We Are Young." This song exemplifies an overconfidence and a "no worries" attitude and approach to life, just like many of the characters in the book have.

Why Can't I Be You by Allie Larkin Why Can't I Be You by Allie Larkin

Imagine being able to become someone different — if only for a few minutes. In Allie Larkin's latest, Why Can't I Be You, what could have been a simple case of mistaken identity for Jenny Shaw turns into much more. When Jenny answers to the name, "Jessie," everything changes. She doesn't correct the person who mistakes her for a long-lost classmate. And before she knows it, she's acting as if she is Jessie. Jenny, lonely in her own life and recovering from a heartbreak, embraces her "new life" and begins to uncover secrets about this mysterious person she is now impersonating. Secrets that could ultimately help her take a leap of faith of her own.

Why Can't I Be You? playlist:

  • Grammy-nominated Gotye's "Somebody That I Used to Know." A book about taking on another person's identity, this song is the perfect companion to this book.
  • The Cure's "Why Can't I Be You?" A song about wanting to be someone else and also the title of Larkin's novel, what tune could be more fitting?

Crystal Cove by Lisa Kleypas

Crystal Cove by Lisa Kleypas

Imagine never being able to find your soulmate. This is the fate of Justine Hoffman, who had a spell cast on her when she was born. And to this day, she has been unable to find love. She might be the owner of a successful hotel, but something is still missing, that missing love still represents a huge hole in her life and in her heart. But like any woman would be, she is determined and eventually does discover a way to break the curse. Although she could have never foreseen the complications that are attached to it.

She meets Jason Black and as a result, a storm of danger is released and threatens everything. Jason also has a secret — he wants more from her than will ever be possible.

Crystal Cove playlist:

  • Grammy-nominated Fun.'s "Some Nights." A song about how confusing love can be, it fits perfectly with the theme of this novel.
  • Grammy-nominated Adele's "Set Fire to the Rain." A beautiful song about a complicated relationship, play this in the background while you read.

Tripping in Thailand

Ready for takeoff? This week Frequent Flier is heading to hot, humid, wonderful Thailand. No longer just a base for intrepid travelers and backpackers, Thailand is firmly on the tourist trail and we have the scoop on some of the best reasons to go.

Breathtaking beaches, stunning scenery and fabulous food are just some of the reasons to consider this Southeast Asian hot spot for your next vacation.

View Of Kata Noi Beach, Kata Beach And Karon Beach In Phuket, Thailand
View of Kata Noi Beach, Kata Beach and Karon Beach in Phuket

1

Amazing beaches

If you’re craving a beach vacation — whether you want to soak up the sun with a frosty cocktail in hand or island hop — one of the best spots to get your fill of sun, sand and surf is Thailand. The sheer abundance of beaches in the southern part of the country makes it a beach-lovers paradise. For a typical resort atmosphere, head to bustling Phuket. For stunning turquoise water and a quieter vibe, we suggest Koh Phi Phi and if getting even further off the beaten track is what you’re after, get yourself to Koh Tao or Koh Lipe.

2

Diving and snorkeling

Whether you’re a diver or prefer to just don a mask and fins — Thailand can’t be beat if you want to catch a glimpse of some fascinating ocean creatures. There are ample opportunities for undersea adventure in Thailand with its abundance of marine parks and over 1,200 miles of coastline and hundreds of offshore islands to explore.

3

Bustling Bangkok

Fighting off jet lag in ultra-busy Bangkok didn’t give us the best first impression of this crazy capital city, but after a few days of acclimating we fell in love. The multicultural capital is easy to get around with the help a well-organized public transportation system, including the speedy air-conditioned sky train. The prompt, relaxing river taxi service is an excellent means of seeing the city.

4

Delicious food

If you love Thai food and order it often prepare to be blown away by the real thing. It’s hot, it’s cheap, it’s delicious and it’s on every street corner no matter the neighborhood. Indulge in soups, curries, grilled meat and fish, fried food and fresh fruit juices from roadside stalls, or if you’re in Bangkok, choose from many world class restaurants offering every type of cuisine imaginable. Love what you’re eating? Take a cooking class so you can cook your favorite Thai dishes at home .

5

Affordability

It’s still relatively easy to stick to a budget and even save money on a trip to Thailand. We were able to find more than a few clean, airy private rooms for $25 or less. You’ll likely spend more in the south but paying more for a spot right on the beach is worth it! Food, buses and even domestic flights are also all reasonable. We went from Bangkok to Phuket on Nok Air for under $50 one way. The bus or train would have been cheaper, but if you’re short on time, flying is your best bet.

6

Shopping

Whether you’re more comfortable in a multi-floor megamall or bargaining like a local in a busy market, there are plenty of opportunities to part with your money in Thailand. You’ll find markets in even the smallest towns so you’ll never be far from something to buy. We had the most fun fighting the crowds at Bangkok’s Chatuchak Market, one of the world’s largest weekend markets and home to everything from housewares to books to souvenirs to food and just about anything else you could think of.

7

Ease of travel

Local buses, tuk-tuks, taxis, ferries, the sky train in Bangkok, trains, long distance buses and the aforementioned affordable airfare make traveling within Thailand a breeze. Even solo or novice travelers will find it fairly simple to get from point A to point B, whether that’s across the country or just to the next town.

8

Proximity to more
travel opportunities

If you have more time, or you’re interested in exploring more of the surrounding areas, Thailand is a great jumping-off point for visiting more of Asia. Whether you want to head to Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia or Myanmar, you can do so easily from Thailand.

9

Natural wonders

Once you’ve had your fill of exploring cities, visiting cultural attractions and hitting the beach, Thailand makes it easy to get your fix of green space. National parks, forest parks and wildlife sanctuaries make up about 13 percent of land area, making Thailand an ideal spot for hiking, trekking, bird watching, wildlife spotting and waterfall swimming. Don’t miss: Khao Sok National Park for its stunning beauty and range of outdoor activities. If you go, stay at Our Jungle House, an eco-lodge right in the jungle!

10

Great weather and
friendly people

Though some months might be rainier than others, weather in Thailand is pretty reliable in that if hot is what you’re after, you’ll get it here. Temperatures can get cooler in the north but in central and southern Thailand we never wore more than light sundresses and T-shirts. You also can’t ask for friendlier, more helpful people no matter where you go, which always enhances any vacation.

Nonprofit film turns camera on teens with Down syndrome

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a teenager with Down syndrome, then listened to — and really understood — what it may feel like? To some, that idea alone is terrifying. But a new film helps break the ice on what producers hope will be the beginning of real conversations, real understanding and ultimately, acceptance.
Sam and Bobby

Have you ever looked into the eyes of a teenager with Down syndrome, then listened to — and really understood — what it may feel like? To some, that idea alone is terrifying.

Just Like You

This new film helps break the ice on what producers hope will be the beginning of real conversations, real understanding and ultimately, acceptance.

Just Like You introduces viewers to three teens who happen to have an extra chromosome — and the desire for their peers to view them as just kids, just like you.

The short film seeks to “open hearts and change perspectives because, ‘when you have the knowledge you understand, and when you understand you can accept that kids with Down syndrome just want to be treated like any other kid, just like you.’”

Available for purchase and on YouTube, Just like You was created by the 501 nonprofit by the same name , which makes films to answer kids’ questions about unique circumstances. This film was made in collaboration with the Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City “with the hopes it will be utilized as a tool by parents and educators to open the door to inclusion, acceptance and friendships,“ according to the film's website.

The Down Syndrome Guild of Greater Kansas City and filmmaker Jen Greenstreet partnered to release the film, Just Like You – Down Syndrome, on October 22, 2012.

Meet three teens with an extra chromosome

Just Like You cast

Elyssa, Rachel and Sam are teens who happen to have an extra copy of the 21st chromosome. That means while most people have only 46 chromosomes, people with Down syndrome have 47.

"Down syndrome is just one part of who they are... "

The three look straight into the camera and — peppered by moments of delight, amusement and pride — share personal stories to help viewers better understand Down syndrome and why they wish to be treated just like any other kid.

“Each of our stars has their own talents, characteristics, strengths and challenges,” the organization explains on its website. “Down syndrome is just one part of who they are and this film identifies how to handle and accommodate differences while celebrating the many similarities our friends with Down syndrome have with their peers.”

Meet their best friends

Underscoring Elyssa’s, Rachel’s and Sam’s stories are perspectives shared by their best friends, teens who do not have Down syndrome. In matter-of-fact, nonplussed voices, Bretlyn, Savanna and Bobby — typically developing teens — talk frankly about what it means to be friends with someone who has Down syndrome.

“Kids are curious, and having a classmate with Down syndrome raises questions,” Just Like You explains. “When questions are left unanswered, it can lead to fear of the unknown that may cause kids to ostracize, judge their classmates, lash out or bully their peers who are living with the condition.”

Tackling challenges honestly

In a short 13 minutes, the film covers some of the challenges individuals with Ds face, including low muscle tone, poor memory and trouble communicating. Just as frankly, all six teens address what a classmate or potential new friend can do to learn more and understand better about what it means to have Down syndrome.

“Slow down,” all six emphasize, explaining that it may take a person with Down syndrome a little extra time to finish talking, but being patient is worth it.

“Because I have important things to say,” Sam says with a quick grin.

Understanding different behaviors

The film also touches on behavior, and how perceived differences may actually be what a person has in common with someone with Down syndrome, from math frustrations to just having a bad day.

"Some kids have Down syndrome. But they’re still just a kid. Just like you."

Good moods or bad moods aren’t because of Down syndrome, the teens explain. “It is just part of what makes me who I am,” Sam says firmly.

The film also describes why the friendships between the teens work, with all six supporting each other during life's ups and downs.

In 13 minutes, Just Like You puts real faces and names to the simple truth that “some kids have Down syndrome. But they’re still just a kid. Just like you.”

Fergie and Josh Duhamel at the 2010 Grammys

John Legend and
Chrissy Teigen

Well, not surprisingly another model and musician combo lands a spot on our hottest Grammy couples list: This time it's John Legend and his fiancée Chrissy Teigen from the 2012 Grammy Awards. The black dress with a high slit seems like it was a popular choice for models last year. Both Legend and Teigen looked fantastic on the Grammy red carpet.

Stacy Ferguson and
Josh Duhamel

For the 2010 Grammy Awards, Stacy Ferguson rocked a super-short royal blue mini that showed off her fit body perfectly. While we're not a fan of Josh Duhamel's suit — it seemed a little frumpy — Ferguson and Duhamel are certainly a super-hot couple.

Mario Lopez runs in his skivvies!

Some people take the Super Bowl so seriously. And boy, are we glad for that!

Mario Lopez's Super Bowl bet

Those Extra kids are just downright silly.

Last year, Extra's co-host Maria Menounos made a brave Super Bowl bet. Then her hometown team, the New England Patriots, lost.

The poor girl had to strip down to a bikini with the New York Giants' logo on it and do the entire Times Square show in nothing more. The boys were happy, but Menounos wasn't.

It looks like Extra liked all the bikini-clad attention, because they decided to do it again... except this time for the ladies. Mario Lopez made a pre-game announcement: If his beloved San Francisco 49ers lost, he'd run through The Grove in his tighty-whities and a Ravens helmet.

You know how the game went, so here's the footage of him making good on his promise...

You're welcome, girls.

In case you're interested, those undies are actually available for purchase. They're from Mario's new line, Rated M. His line isn't all skivvies, but it's pretty close.

Lopez's new brand is made up of perfectly formed underwear , but also other super comfy and super smart clothes made for a day at the gym, a run through the woods, or an evening on the couch for a "manful man and his very special guest."

To buy some manful Rated M undies for you or your very special friend, head to select Bloomingdale's stores or buy them online at Amazon, freshpair.com, and a few other dot coms as well.

If you don't currently have a very special friend in your life to buy Rated M for, it's OK. Just watch the video again.

Ever wondered what goes on in a beauty editor's head? You're about to find out! Over the next few months, I'll be chatting all things fashion and beauty with some of the brightest minds in the industry. Up today? Melissa Liebling-Goldberg, Fashion & Beauty Director of POPSUGAR.com.

SheKnows: What beauty trends are you loving this season?

Melissa Liebling-Goldberg: I really love dark lips! I think we really saw that at the SAG Awards [last] weekend on stars like Claire Danes and Michelle Dockery and I think it's really interesting and different to have that darker deep red lip. And then I'm a fan of all of the nail trends. I think it's really fun and just gives people a chance to express their personality and really experiment with beauty, which to me is always the most fun element of beauty. I love that nail art has become so easy and so accessible for people to do.

SK: What's the best beauty or fashion tip you've learned on the job?

MLG: I think the thing that I've learned the most about working in beauty is how important quality skin care is. I think it's so fun to play with makeup, but I think it all comes back to the quality of your skin, how you're taking care of it and how important it is to wear SPF every single day, even if it's raining or it's cold outside. You really have to prioritize taking great care of your skin especially when you're young, and then everything kind of comes from there; everything looks great if you have beautiful skin as a base.

Jennifer Lawrence and Jessica Chastain at the 2013 SAG Awards

SK: It's officially award season now! Whose red carpet style are you lusting after?

MLG: I think we're all crushing so hard on Jennifer Lawrence. She [is looking] so beautiful and hot, she has such a great spirit and personality, and it's always a joy to watch someone who looks like they're having fun! I love that she's trying different things and I love seeing someone young in couture on the red carpet without being terrified... I think she's someone that is really fun to watch and I think the same is true for Jessica Chastain.

She always has a different beauty look, I love how versatile she is and how much she really plays with her look, especially when she has such a classically beautiful face. She can pull off anything, so it's really fun to watch her reinvent herself for every show and always have something new and different that really feels tailored to the occasion and to the fashion she's wearing.

everything looks great if you have beautiful skin as a base.

SK: Fashion Week is this week! Are there any designers you're really excited to see show this season?

MLG: I think it's just so exciting how much talent there is in New York right now. You have people who are doing edgier things like Alexander Wang or Proenza and then you have designers who are doing these really wonderful feminine pieces like Derek Lam and like Prabal and Jason Wu. It's just really exciting to me that it's a city that has so much young talent so you get to see so much in one place. I think it's a really tremendous moment for New York fashion!

SK: You guys have PopSugar Shop where you feature amazing sales and we all can appreciate a bargain. So what are your beauty and fashion bargain guilty pleasures?

MLG: I love Target! I love their beauty section, I love their fashion, I always end up leaving with accessories. I think almost all of my belts are from Target! I love that it still feels curated, that they have wonderful makeup brands like Jemma Kidd, Napoleon Perdis and Pixie doing special things for them. That's really my one stop shop for good deals. It's very fun to shop there and I'm very excited for the Prabal collaboration to come out this week too.

SK: Speaking of guilty pleasures, monthly subscription boxes are becoming a huge trend in fashion. Tell me a little about POPSUGAR's Monthly Must Have box.

POPSUGAR's Monthly Must have box

MLG: I think people just really want to try new things. The great thing about the world that we live in now is that you can come onto our site and read all about new brands and new products and be excited to try them... and you're able to shop and read in the same place. So whether you're getting a great deal from the POPSUGAR Shop emails or you're getting the Must Have box and you're having these amazing editors pick the absolute best of the best for you to try every month, I think it's just incredible to be surprised every single month with something really cool and really interesting. It's like having our [website] come right to your doorstep!

It's so fun to have that element of surprise; you never know what you're going to get, whether it's going to be something delicious or something that's a great new beauty product or just something that's really whimsical and fun and unusual.

SK: Sounds like a great Valentine's Day gift! Do you have any tips for what men can buy women for the holiday?

MLG: Besides signing you up for the Must Have box because that is really fun, I think men shouldn't be scared to buy jewelry! I think there are lots of fun pieces you can get and I think men always get a little freaked out about buying jewelry. But I actually think it's a really great gift to be able to get something that you can wear and always have with you and on you and be able to think of the special someone when you're wearing it.

Smash recap: Return of the rejects

$

The divas, drama and backstabbing are back for a second season! When Bombshell looks like a failure, the creators and cast are left to figure out what to do next — and break into song at random.

Ivy tries to figure out who she is

The wait has been too long, but Smash has finally returned for its second season, and it's filled with more earth shattering ballads, catchy dance numbers, and drama than we all wished for. Although much has changed for our favorite struggling stars, the usual things remain the same.

Ivy and Karen still hate each other. Derek is still a womanizing/charming jerk, and Bombshell remains the laughing stock of NYC.

The little show that could

For such a talented bunch, the cast and creators of Bombshell deal with an amazing amount of rejection. And it's not just regular rejection. It's a trying to find a seat at the cool table in the cafeteria, busting out your best joke, but everyone stares at you in silence and then you walk away, slip on a banana peel and a yogurt lands on your tear-filled face kind of rejection. With their hearts on the line, everyone believes Bombshell is about to be picked up on Broadway, until they get the devastating news that it won't be and that all of New York is making fun of it.

It is Eileen's determination and willingness to humiliate herself that keeps her beloved show alive. Despite cruel insults from Broadways' bigwigs and horrible reviews, Eileen keeps throwing herself at the mercy of her critics. When it looks like there is no hope left for the show, she organizes an impromptu number in front of theater's elite — and it works! Then, she completely throws away her pride and accepts financial backing from her ex-cheating husband, and suddenly the show still stands a chance.

The tale of two divas

Now that neither of them are playing Marilyn, Ivy and Karen are back to Square One. And this season the two have switched roles. Ivy, is slightly more humble and broken down, while Karen has mastered sticking her nose in the air and mean girl one-liners. Although she has every right to be pissed at Ivy for sleeping with her fiance, bitchiness just doesn't look good on her.

Ivy has pretty much lost everything at this point. She was just suicidal five minutes ago, most of her friends on Bombshell have turned their backs on her, and she lost her sexy, powerful director boyfriend. To top it off, no one is hiring her and then she catches Derek kissing Karen. She has no idea who she is anymore and that brokenness makes her incredibly likable.

The next big thing

Karen, on the other hand, has a lot going for her. She's now being treated like the star Derek always wanted her to be. People know her name and she has the ear of key players. Now, she's working with Derek to find "the next big thing," and she may have found it in Brooklyn. She stumbles on an amazing composer, Jimmy, and she and Derek hope to turn his music into the next Broadway sensation. He's also going to be her new love interest and he's way more charming and complicated than Dev.

Things you should know

Julia got torn to shreds in reviews of her music and then her husband kicked her out… again. Now she's staying with Tom and is trying to recover from the deep humiliation. Also, Jennifer Hudson has entered the show as Broadway star Veronica Moore and she is fantastic. Her attention will undoubtedly be one of the things Ivy and Karen fight for this season. And Derek is finally being sued for sexual harassment from a number of dancers. Surprise. Surprise.

Extra interviews America's favorite politician, Gov. Christie

Extra 's Hilaria Baldwin recently caught up with New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie and asked him all sorts of fun questions.

Gov. Chris Christie talks to Extra

After a spectacular late-night appearance, some fine law laying to his constituents and lots of rumors, New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie still has a lot going on in his life.

To begin with, he has a campaign to run. For president? No... At least, not quite yet. When Extra's Hilaria Baldwin asked him if he had plans to run for president during the next campaign, he neither confirmed nor denied the possibility.

"I'm running for re-election," Christie reminded Baldwin. "So I'll work on that first, but my job is to finish the job of fixing the state here."

As governor of New Jersey, Christie is pretty much "the boss" of the state. He's laid down the law on multiple occasions. But, is Christie the boss at home? Not so much!

“My kids very much still see me as their dad," he told Extra, explaining how life hasn't changed since he's become governor. "I mean they are aware of all the things happening around us and they know our lives are different now because of that, but inside the house it’s not a whole lot different than it was before… I’m still not the boss of them."

Sounds like he's pretty laid-back, huh? We already knew that, though, from the way he handles the late-night grief from guys like Letterman and Leno. Just the other night on David Letterman's show, he helped make the joke even better by pulling a pastry from his pocket. He doesn't mind the jokes, but he has one stipulation.

"I say to all the late-night guys, all of them have their shots with me, as long as they're funny, I don’t mind," he said.

That sounds like safe logic to us!

Celeb bump day: Penelope Cruz, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, Evan Rachel Wood

Happy Wednesday Hump Day — also known to us as Celebrity Baby Bump Day! We spotted a newly pregnant Penelope Cruz looking adorable with her son Leo, while pregnant Jenna Dewan-Tatum showed off her envious maternity style. Pregnant Evan Rachel Wood, Holly Madison and Busy Philipps round out our list of cute pregnant celebrities of the week.

Pregnant Penelope Cruz, Javier Bardem and son Leo

Penelope Cruz

Actress Penelope Cruz and her husband, actor Javier Bardem, are expecting their second child together! The 38-year-old actress was spotted covering up her midsection in a jacket as she and Bardem took their 2-year-old son Leo to a marine theme park in Madrid.

Cruz is reportedly around three months pregnant — and, wouldn’t you know it, her sister Monica Cruz is also pregnant!

“From the first second, you feel so much in love. It is a revolutionary experience. That's the best way I can describe it. It transforms you completely, in a second,” she told The Mirror about having kids.

Don’t expect to see a photo spread of the couple’s baby in any gossip magazines, as the actress says she likes her privacy.

“I'm 100 percent against that. Children aren't a handbag. I want my son and my kids — if I have more — to grow up in a way that is as anonymous as possible,” she said. ”The fact that his father and I have chosen to do the work we do doesn't give anybody the right to invade our privacy.”

Pregnant Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Jenna Dewan-Tatum

Channing Tatum’s pregnant wife Jenna Dewan-Tatum looked casually chic as she was spotted furniture shopping at Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams. We love Jenna's maternity style— and she looked adorbs in a striped maxi dress paired with a cropped denim jacket and flats.

Speaking of Channing, he recently told People.com that he is working hard to keep Jenna happy during her pregnancy.

“Oh man, I'm not even getting into what I do to pamper Jenna. I'm doing anything that she asks for,“ he said. “She jokes to me all the time by saying, ’If I feel good, then the baby feels good or if I'm happy, then the baby is happy.’ And I'm like, ’That is such an urban myth. You're just saying that to get me to do everything for you.’“

“I know it's probably true, but I like to joke about it and she hates it,“ he continues. “I'll go to the store to pick up shakes or give her 1,000 foot rubs. A foot rub now through the nine months if I have to, just to keep her happy and comfortable.“

Say it with me... lucky girl!

Evan Rachel Wood

Actress Evan Rachel Wood dressed her baby bump in plaid as she was spotted heading home after promoting her new movie, The Necessary Death of Charlie Countryman. Wood, 25, and her husband Jamie Bell are expecting their first child together.

Wood gave the standard Hollywood response when asked about her pregnancy: “I’m over the moon.”

“Motherhood is my dream and my husband is always the one I wanted to do it with,” she told Access Hollywood. “So, I’m very happy!”

Wood, who was once engaged to Marilyn Manson, is due with her child later this year.

Pregnant Holly Madison

Holly Madison

Holly Madison wore a floral dress paired with a pink jacket to her baby shower at the Meatball Spot in Las Vegas last Saturday. Madison, who is due in early March with her baby girl, was joined by her boyfriend Pasquale Rotella and 25 of her close friends.

The “Valentine’s Day” themed shower featured pink tulips on the tables, pink heart-shaped balloons — and meatballs, of course.

Guests sipped on alcohol-free drinks called “The Holly Go-Lightly” and were asked to donate gifts to Baby2Baby charity instead of bringing Holly gifts.

“I’ve been depending heavily on stretchy Roberto Cavalli dresses for evening looks lately. Most people probably think prints are a no-no during pregnancy, but I figure I’m going to look like a beach ball no matter what so I might as well have fun with it!” she recently wrote on her blog.

Next up: Pregnant Busy Philipps spotted shopping at Target

 {pageBreak}

Pregnant Busy Philipps

Busy Philipps

Pregnant Busy Philipps wore a printed maxi dress and flats as she stocked up on kid items at the Target in West Hollywood. The Cougar Town actress, who has a daughter named Birdie, is expecting her second child later this year.

Philipps may dress down for Target, but she looked amazing on the red carpet at the SAG Awards in a bump-hugging gown.

“It was hard to decide which way to go. Do you hide the bump, do you show it off?“ she told reporters at the awards show. “I went with show it off! I embraced it!“

She recently said that her daughter Birdie is excited for a sibling. “My daughter is very excited… it’s actually something that she has asked for quite some time,” she told People... “My husband and I were on the fence about whether or not we were going to add to our family, but now that we’re on our road, we’re really excited.”

Welcome to Decorating Diva, where every week we share fresh, fun ways to update your home and spice up your living space! If you're not into a houseful of hearts, there are other, more stylish ways to embrace Valentine's Day at home. We've rounded up some of our favorites.

Tableware

Tableware

In the days leading up to February 14, we suggest switching some of your regular tableware for these stylish red stoneware pieces hand painted in a chic bead-like pattern. The mug, salad plate and bowl make a Valentine's-inspired addition to any table without going over the top .

Red diamonds pillow

Red diamonds pillow

We were immediately drawn to this eye-catching red and white pillow with all-over diamond print that would make a vibrant Valentine's Day style statement. The best part? Even if you buy it specifically for February 14, you can easily integrate it into your everyday decor well after cupid packs up his arrows .

Rose teapot set

Rose teapot set

Tea time just got a little more colorful with this adorable pink porcelain tea set designed in the shape of a rose. Each part of the rose-shaped set serves a different function once disassembled, including a plate, a bowl, a tea strainer, a small scoop and two tea cups. The delicate design and rosy hue make this unique set a perfect Valentine's Day accent .

Blanket

Blanket

If, like us, you don't love the thought of trotting out an overly pink throw or a blanket covered in hearts, you can still embrace the red and pink theme of Valentine's Day with this cozy woven throw in a rustic red and black pattern ideal for leaving on the bed for particularly chilly nights, or draping over a chair or couch .

Printed bowls

Printed bowls

Dish towels

Dish towels

Give your kitchen a splash of vibrant red color with the help of some bold tea towels featuring a repeating heart pattern that's more stylish than cutesy, which we love. Not only are they fun and festive, they make for a simple way to switch things up in the kitchen .

Nesting bowls

Nesting bowls

While we have been trying to minimize any home accents that are overtly geared toward Valentine's Day, we just couldn't resist these heart-shaped glazed stoneware nesting bowls in a soft shade of pink. Use them as standalone decorative accents or to house loose change, jewelry and keys .

Tablecloth

Tablecloth

Whether you're hosting a Valentine's Day cocktail party or an intimate dinner for two, spice up your table setting with the help of this sketched cotton rose tablecloth in a gorgeous shade of red. It may be perfect for February 14, but it's also neutral enough to use all winter long .
